I recently started psych and It's okay but what I can't understand is how Lassiter still dislikes Shawn no offense but I think it's getting old. 🥱

pysch is a cool show with comedy and mystery and whatnot but the real mystery/plot/point of interest is the pineapples. I’m just here for the pineapples really.

This is like the opposite sentiment for criminal minds fans they plead with the writers every seasons to stop making Spencer suffer so much.

like i really enjoy 4x09 (Shawn Takes a Shot in the Dark) and 7x01 (Santabarbaratown 2) in particular bc they’ve got the physical and emotional pain. The Yin/Yang saga is excellent ofc.

I haven't watched Queens Gambit in a while but I will never forget seeing a take that women were suddenly interested in chess like this idea that women couldn't possibly have been interested in chess before is ludicrous in the complete definition of the word and what if they became interested because of the show it doesn't make their interest disingenuous or performative. The great thing about humans is that we can be inspired and inspire others so to all the puny unimaginative people who continue to think like this sincerely bug off.

I haven't read the book to its completion but I can't decide if I appreciate the omission of the blatant csa.

I can't say that I thought the Amber storyline was soul crushing but I truly could empathise with James in this moment because although this was a freak accident it's hard not to blame House the addict, the screw-up, the liar, the tornado that crashes through everyone's life leaving disaster in its wake. Like to find out that the reason your wife died is simply because your friend was drunk and needed a designated driver and because of your past enabling you find yourself widowed. Heartwrenching, truly.

I watched this match, and NOT TO BE NEGATIVE, but I wouldn’t be surprised if this is the start of a losing streak. I mean, at the tournament before this, he broke his racket, and then he had to come from a set down for the first time in his career. It honestly feels like this could lead to not just a losing streak, but maybe even a small hiatus. I really hope I’m wrong, though.

I’ve always loved Teen Wolf, but I recently saw a take criticizing the fandom for focusing so much on Stiles instead of the POC lead, Scott. As a POC myself, I don’t see why it has to be one or the other. Stiles is beloved because of his comedic relief and cleverness,he brought something unique to the show. But that doesn’t mean Scott isn’t appreciated; he absolutely deserves recognition for being the hero and central figure of the story. Liking Stiles doesn’t take away from Scott’s impact. Both characters brought something important to the table, and there’s room to celebrate both.

stiles is incredible funny bc yeah he's the brain the strategist the plan maker super smart etc but everytime he checks, just in case, like "hey just letting you know the easiest way to fix this is murder. just a thought" and then everyone is like "stiles NO" and then he gets to the actual plan

I watched the muchova-osaka match and heard Chrissie's commentary on muchova's playing style and in my opinion while I understand the sentiment she was going for her delivery was suspect at best. We still live in a world where "you hit like a girl", "you play like a girl" are still widely used in the English lexicon making statements like Chrissie's very harmful as it reinforces the stereotype that women can't have an aggressive playing style with awesome volleys and out of this world net play. It is rhetoric like this that is also used to demonise players of colour with wrongfully empowered sports journalists making caricatures of female players of color. I'm so glad that it was addressed so quickly by Ons and it honestly makes me love her even more as she is a shining example of what Chrissie would describe as playing like a man, I rarely see female players hit tweeners and Ons became that representation that I so desperately needed, Aryna is also another example seeing her practice tweeners inspired me and that's what the game is all about. Creating innovative new ways to play the game so I implore the tennis community to continue to shun such verbiage and for the commentators to be more mindful of how they phrase their comments.

Update on my fundraising campaign

I had to delete my fundraising campaign because the funds couldn’t transfer twice, and it seems like an issue I just couldn’t resolve. It was a tough decision, but I felt it was necessary. I’m not giving up hope, though! If anyone has any advice or ideas on what I can do next, I’d really appreciate it. Thank you to all who supported or shared my story and my campaign I am eternally grateful I will be deleting any post with the link as to not cause confusion.
