So my friend has this uncle...

So my friend has this distantly related uncle who's in his fifties now and he lives in the US. All this time, she thought he was single his entire life. And like just never married. Like every time she saw him at a family event no one ever mentioned anything about him ever being married.

So one day she's in the car with her mom right? And she just casually asks why he never married. (It's not that normal not to be married in india yet) And her mom goes what are u talking about he IS married.

And my friends like What?

And her mom's like yeah, u didn't know?

And she's like uh no? What's his wife like and how come i've never seen her?

Mom: because its a husband

It took her 5 full min to process. Friend: HES GAY?

Mom: ...yeah? We just never talk about it he lives with his husband over there(US)

U don't understand HOW COOL IT IS TO FIND OUT U HAVE A GAY TAUJI(term in india for uncle). Like WTF. its VERY rare in india to have a gay relative. Like damn I want a gay tauji .
