regardless of what i think of the new stex production, i can’t wait to add the new freight cars to the current consist! i like hydra so far.

thinking about how i had a tomy thomas tanker truck as a kid, that was YELLOW. if i just kept it i could’ve had slick oil in my house with me today and i’ll never ever forgive myself for that
ray shell being so supportive of the revival is really sweet to me, regardless of my feelings on it
slick has been taking up a bit of my brain space recently i really love her and uhh if you hate her for any reason, then i simply just wont tolerate it pretty lol sooooo

i can’t remember where i found it but like there was a video of the 2024 london starlight express megamix where during i am me, pearl slipped and fell over and i swear some guy timestamped the moment in a comment and said something like:
“this is definitive proof of the utter lack of effort or quality put into this absolutely monstrous “revival” i give this disaster on stage a few more months before it fails because of the seldom attempt to make anything of quality or substance.”
i’m sorry, HUH? pearl slipped ONCE??? this could literally happen to anyone regardless on how good they are at skating (which i’m like 100% sure kayna montecillo is very good at considering she was able to land a lead role in the roller skating train show)???? i’ve been skating for 4 years and i still fall on my ass sometimes??? stop acting like this is the death of cinema??? theatre errors happen all the time??? even on non-roller skating shows???? human error is a thing that exist did you not know that??? shut up???? listen i have my own opinions on the revival, but simple slip ups like that are NOT one of them so like please stop overreacting???
i know this sounds completely exaggerated, but i swear that is literally how the comment spoke about that moment, and it was genuinely, the stupidest thing i’ve heard about the revival so far, BY far.

sorry for bringing this up AGAIN, but but according to that one comment on a video of the wembley troubadour megamix, a slip up such as this
is living proof of the bochum production’s complete lack of ability to properly put on a serviceable product due to their stupidity and neglect, i guess. and by that logic, starlight should’ve failed a LONG time ago with jeff skankley crashing into the bridge so hard he nearly died, or when bob torti fell off the broadway set, or do those not count because they were extremely dangerous and not just a trip and fall like in the case of the troubadour’s?
i guarantee that of the countless starlight productions that were ever performed, there were MANY times actors had tripped and fallen down during the show, we just didn’t see because those moments were probably just not filmed. because i must reiterate, no matter how good someone is at skating, falling down is basically inevitable, especially when you are DANCING IN THEM. FALLING DOWN IN SKATES IS NOT A TROUBADOUR STARLIGHT EXPRESS THING, ITS A ROLLER SKATING THING IN GENERAL. that’s my final word on it.
hydra seems so nice and trustworthy and not suspicious at all :D

NEW FREIGHT REDESIGNS
i had sm fun redesigning new freight i wasnt a fan of how similar their outfits looked but i really liked the colors they used so i tried to keep the colors but i change them very slightly
i ended up making porter a hopper bc i heard he transports coal and i think it makes sense
also if youre wondering abt the eyes these designs are specifically for my au and i like to design their eyes to kinda match what train they are
needed to post these two🫶
i renamed dinah taffy and made her a candy dining car and renamed greaseball elide!!
