I don't want to go into details publicly because this is well into the sequel of the current fic/s I'm writing, but the idea hit me this morning and given the topic in question I absolutely categorically do not want to fuck it up in the initial stages or later.
Is there anyone in this sphere with the relevant life experience/appropriate knowledge who would be willing to do a sensitivity reading for a fic idea I have based on Far Beyond the Stars? Again, I don't wanna go into detail publicly but if anyone is kind enough to help me out here, I would sincerely appreciate it. I am white and Australian and know precious little outside of stuff I've seen or read in media and on Tumblr about the era, and I care about getting this right.

the thing that's so fucking funny abt kira and sisko's relationship is she's like look sometimes i need to talk to you as my boss sometimes i need to talk to you as my good pal ben and sometimes i need to talk to you as jesus. and sometimes her boss refuses a request and she goes, please, jesus and he's like. fuck you fine. and then twenty minutes later it's like oh my good pal ben and i are gonna go watch baseball later :) and they never discuss this.
