Also... TWINSIES, I love Sisko as well, been developing a little something that I HOPE I get to write about the whole nature with the Prophets, his role as the Emissary and his non-linear existence (have to check out that one comic that got released a couple of years ago still I think). He's incredibly fascinating and, I believe, he's the best captain that we get to follow, hands down.

ds9 introduces so many incredibly poignant stories and plotlines that are completely ignored cuz you can’t write hot gay smut for it. the cardassian occupation and the bajoran people… the morally gray areas of war…. intercultural relations on the large and small scale…. episodes like past tense & far beyond the stars… the siskos as a whole for having their family onscreen and connected to their culture. AND to have sisko be the most important captain in the entire war. sisko is the best written and acted character in star trek there is no ds9 without him. but WHO here actually gives a shit about sisko 😐. like seriously.
you guys are embarrassing. go watch the show and learn how to engage with themes and topics in media that aren’t just tropey jokes or shipping 😐

Thinkin about how Sisko tells Kassidy that his life is nonlinear and he might be back in a year or yesterday and how if that's true than that means (i think) that Benny Russell wasn't just a vision from the Prophets but a real life that Sisko leads / has led. Benny Russell was real, and his dream of the future was too. They're both the dreamer and the dream.
