Okay, if you love Percy Jackson, Harry Potter and Hunger Games then you should read Keeper of the Lost Cities by Sharon Messenger and Nevermoor by Jessica Townsend. They are wonderful series that I really love and I want to grow the fandoms.

when a mind is wiped the emotions stay, when Sophies family's minds where wiped, they where not going to forget how they love her, they forgot who she was,
Did Amy ever get board one day and absentmindedly go to the extra bedroom in their new house like there was someone in there she could talk to. only to realize the bedroom is empty, then she wonders why she expected anyone to be there at all. because she doesn't have any siblings
did her mom ever set four plates for dinner, only to look at the table and realize there was an extra and not understand why she put four plates down in the first place.
did she lay awake at night with a feeling in her soul that she had another child, one that she didn't miscarry. one that she used to hold and laugh with, one that she had kissed goodnight. did she feel insane first laying in bed late at night, scratching her brain trying to remember who this child was, because she swears up and down the hole she felt in her chest could only be made by a missing child
did she talk to William, and tell him about it, did he agree with her, tell her that he felt the same way. that sometimes when he comes home from work he expects one more person to greet him, that he feels a pang in his chest when he sees the extra bedroom in their house acting as an office.
where they haunted by the ghost of what their family had once been? did they wonder why they all act as if theres a extra person in their family when they where acting on instinct? did they feel a tightness in their chest when they saw a stuffed elephant?
did they wonder why it felt like their there was a empty spot at the table, in the car, on the couch?
before they shake it off and remind themselves that only have three people in their family and there had always been three people in their family, even if their hearts seemed to think otherwise.

Sophie *is* a telepath. I'm sure if it was from Keefe's point of view, we'd see more Empaths, and if it was from Dex's point of view, we'd see more technopaths.
And none of the telepaths that Sophie interacts with are just random telepaths that she happens to stumble upon, either. All of the telepaths found her, not the other way around. In fact, almost all of the telepaths she knows are Vackers, or Black Swan and Neverseen members. And of course two Councillors were telepaths (Emery and Kenric), all of the Council members have rare abilities and/or can do something unique with their abilities.
There are probably at least millions of elves in the Lost Cities, right? So out of all of the telepaths Sophie's met, there are definitely more in the world, probability wise, there has to be. Even if there were 10 million elves in the Lost Cities, and 0.1% of them were telepaths, then there would have to be at least 1,000 telepaths in the world. That's a lot of telepaths!! But probability wise, it would still be considered a rare ability, and Sophie has met less than twenty of them.
never getting over Sophie just letting Alvar go in that tower scene in Legacy right before the fitzphie break up. (Keefe might have been there too- i don't remember- which makes it a million times worse.)
like in what world was that her choice to make? Idc if the guy looked like death- that's not her son, or her brother, and the entire decision was just beyond stupid. ??? that's a known terrorist, who might have taken part in torturing you and Dex in book one?? that's your boyfriend's brother?? like you cannot be serious.
sure, Alvar might have crawled away to die, but to not tell his parents? to not give his family some closure? a body to bury??
that alone is a bigger reason for Fitz to break up with her than matchmaking by a landslide.

Like if I'm wrong my bad I haven't read the books in a while, but like... its not even that she's boring or anything it's just.... You do kinda be ditching dex and biana. Like my fam didn't deserve that shit bro like.... dex was kinda ur first real friend but I guess he'll just never be as important as the new ppl you meet everyday😀. And like you kinda just icky me. And i get that shes a teen and she has struggles but can you at least address them? Like maybe a 'dang sorry i barely talk to you bcs i like my new love intrests better' but like she isnt that self aware and thinks that theyre fine, like girl WAKE UP. Like Dex probably has some kind of mental health problems now but NOOO thats not important. 🤫 and also Marella! I am a Marella apologist. Bcs shes hot asf. Like my girl welcomed you, my girl ate with you, my girl, saved you from some drooly motherfuckers, like and with the shit shes got at home? And her forbidden ability? recently reread the first Keeper of the Lost Cities book and decided to draw Sophie.

Fitz Forgiven By Sophie Too Easily?
So, don’t get me wrong, I like Fitz as a character, but one thing that always makes me frustrated is how easily Sophie forgives Fitz when he blames her for something. It’s pretty obvious she likes him, and he likes her also. She always says that she understands why he was acting the way he was (which, yes, it was understandable). What makes me frustrated, is that she isn’t like that all the time with the others. Obviously Sophie will, probably, always forgive her friends because she cares about them (as we can see from situations such as Keefe “joining” The Neverseen) there are just certain things I didn’t quite get. For example, when Dex accidentally made the gadget that was going to be used by the council to take away her abilities until she was “ready” to be responsible with them. He would not intentionally hurt Sophie like that in any way, he just was happy to finally feel useful. And though Sophie knew Dex didn’t mean to do it, she still had a hard time forgiving him (but she eventually did). When Fitz, even though the circumstances were understandable, knew what he was doing and Sophie seemed to have taken it better (he did apologize though. That made me feel a lot better. The boy isn’t a jerk😂. I am also aware he was in a lot of pain because of Alden’s state). I know that the situations were MUCH different and Sophie had the right to feel bad or freak out as much as she wanted, I just felt like it may not have been as fair to my little baby Dex Dizznee over here. That’s just one situation out of a couple that I’ve found, and I just want to end this by saying that this is my opinion. I’m not trying to make you agree with me, I just feel this way personally. Please don’t freak out on me too much. Feel free to tell me your opinion on this subject. Coolio?

Kenric is alive (and maybe in the Neverseen?)
He is mentioned more times after his death than before.
And when he is mentioned, it isn’t super necessary. Shannon didn’t have to write so many Kenralie scenes, she could’ve just made all of his cache memories about Elysian if opening Kenric’s cache was only to forward the plot. But she adds Kenralie into it for emotion, so he will definitely hopefully somehow be in book 10 and it will be related to Oralie in some way.
How did Gisela get to Elysian?
He was investigating Elysian and may have had a way to get there.
Possible that he didn’t erase all of his memories about the investigation since we only saw one in his cache, and that was probably because he didn’t want to get Oralie into trouble for being involved.

Fitz is either going to die or become Councillor
Personally, I’m leaning towards Councillor because he deserves a good redemption arc.
Avery means “ruler of the elves” possibly implying that he will become a Councillor, aka a literal ruler of the elves.
He also shared insecurities about not being the leader anymore in Stellarlune, so him becoming Councillor would come full circle.
Hopefully Shannon can make both options more than just a plot device to end the love triangle

Second Forkle dies, super emotional scene of him being planted next to his brother.
Because emotion
Like the fact that Forkle 1.0’s tree literally leaned over as if waiting for someone is so foreshadowing Forkle 2.0’s death.
He is also a very questionable character who could be killed off as an apology for the decisions that he has made.
His death would also have a super large impact on all the characters, as he is the main leader of the Black Swan, and has obviously assisted Sophie and her friends numerous times. He is also the principal of Foxfire, so that would also be a huge thing they would have to deal with.

if my previous theory is true (alina is fitz's mom) -> i need a della villain arc
She mentions being mistreated by humans, and one of the Neverseen’s main things is putting humans in a Sanctuary.
She’s a really good fighter
People have mentioned how Alden always seems to be in the way of the Black Swan’s plans, and Della could totally influence his decisions since they’re always described as a happy couple (which makes Alden cheating very unlikely but Alina is a beguiler...?)
She is a very powerful Vanisher and she kind of implies that she is hiding her true power in her husband’s shadow, kind of like Gisela…?
She is the only Vacker not injured by the Neverseen (idk if Shannon could even plan this far though tbh-)
But both Alden and Della aren’t in Stellarlune at all… which is kind of weird if this is going to be a huge plot point but uhm
(But like apparently Shannon doesn’t know how to outline a story so 💀)
I really don’t want this to happen, but if Alina does turn out to be Fitz’s mom I’m gonna need a Della villain arc to make up for it.
