Summary: Luffy isn’t as naive as you thought he was.

When you were kids, you’d cuddle up next to each other. However, now that you’re both grown up, it didn’t happen anymore. Until now..
In the middle of the night, Robin heard loud footsteps. She assumed it was one of the crew members, but she was still cautious and alert.
As the sound grew much louder, she became extremely suspicious as they suddenly became quiet before the following happened.
“I should probably be more quieter.” Luffy openly laughed to himself before not so quietly opening the door. Causing Nami to wake up in a fit of rage.
“SHUT UP.” Nami hissed at him, sending him running underneath your covers.
Luffy crawled next to you before clinging onto your arm like a koala, “Goodnight (Y/N), I love you.” He whispers.
“Luffy, do you even know what that means?”
“Oh, you were awake?” Luffy excitedly asked you. “I’m surprised, I was pretty quiet when walking over.”
“You didn’t answer my question,” You flicked his forehead twice, “Also I heard you earlier, you need to work on your sneaking skills.”
“My bad.” Luffy laughed, “Yeah I know what it means, it’s what you say to someone who you want to marry.”
“You want to marry me??” You asked him in disbelief while your face quickly heated up. It was good that he couldn’t see you in the dark.
“Of course,” He giggles excitedly, “Just don’t tell a Sanji, he said that he’d starve me, and leave me out to dry.”
“I guess I can’t let Sanji kill my husband.” You teased.
There was a pause for a good 30 seconds before you felt the bed shift. Luffy turned his head towards you, trying to read your expression for a couple seconds, before asking, “So do you love me too?”
“Yeah, I love you.”
“Okay, let’s get married.” He proposed, eagerly waiting for your response. “Are you listening to me?”
“It’s getting late, let’s just go to bed, and figure things out tomorrow.” You squeezed hand before yawning.
Luffy giggled, “Okay, goodnight (Y/N). Love you.”
“Love you too, goodnight Lu” You tried pulled him close to his chest, but he wiggled out of your grasp. Wrestling you in bed. “Get back here.”
“No, I’m trying to hold you. Stop moving around.” Luffy whined before finally pinning you down, and pulling you up against his chest. “Hehe, I win.”

“What kind of wedding are we having?” Luffy asks you casually, causing you to whip your head around in surprise. “I think we should have a lot of food, and meat.”
“You’re thinking way too far ahead right now.” You casually replied. “I thought you were kidding.”
Everyone immediately turn their heads towards Luffy, and then back at you. Sanji grips the kitchen counter dramatically before falling onto his knees.
“My worst nightmares are coming true,” He cries, “This can’t be happening..”
“We saw it coming from a mile away.” Robin smiles while Nami giggles,
“Haven’t you guys noticed how different he acts around (Y/N)?”
“Guess you didn’t realize it, huh?” Zoro taunts Sanji, who bounces back up in a passionate fit of rage.
“SHUT UP MARIMO!” He shouts before locking eyes with Luffy. “AND YOU!”
Your new lover jumps up from his seat as he carefully watches Sanji’s every move, “Please don’t starve me!” He pleads.
“I’M GOING TO KILL YOU! COME HERE YOU LITTLE SHIT!”
Luffy gives you a quick kiss on your cheek before making a quick escape. “Save some food for me, (Y/N)!” He shouts on his way out as he’s tailed by the angry cook.
“KEEP YOUR LIPS AWAY!”

; oh lord he would tease you !! he would and he WILL !! ; you will face daily challenges of him putting you in very awkward situations only to either fluster you or drive you mad ; he starts acting up a bit in public and you don't know how to respond in order to make him keep it down? he starts showing you off at random times? yeah those. ; like there are many types of shy right ?? one you rlly dunno how to talk to ppl, two you got some shit goin on behind that bashful facade of urs :> ; for the first kind of shy though, you don't need to worry bcs hanma wouldn't go as far as pushing you to speak to someone but end up humiliating you. ; buuuut when you two go eat somewhere he would find any excuse in existence to get you to talk to the waiter or the cashier at the counter for him cuz he's "tired" or "lazy" or "his leg hurts" ; would definitely scare off anyone who tries to take advantage of u tho :3 he's your scary lil dog ; for the second type of shy, oooo he likes it. he loves riling you up to the point where you would snap at him ; but not to the point where you would cry and want to leave him. nono not that. never. ; he wants to know what it feels like to be put back in his place that's all <3 he's a lil brat whenever he wants to. you can go as far as you like cuz this lil guy loves the BURN, he wants to feel smth thrilling even if it meant getting hurt but as long as it's light-hearted and nothing genuine ; i can see him being drawn to you because of how you don't really show much about yourself but in reality you have so many things that others don't have !! by that you can think of anything :] ; at the end of the day, he wants to make sure that you feel at home with him and you can be comfy with him cuz he's not gonna judge you (considering the fact that he's a hobo yeah who is he to judge) ; would do pda spontaneously both because he likes it and to see your reaction. he loves it sm when you try to push him off but reconsiders it when he makes a pouty expression to make u feel bad <3 ; "why did you do that?" and once he sees that you changed your mind and let him have his way he'd go "aww, u love me dont u?" plspunchhim
