Summary: Luffy isn’t as naive as you thought he was.

When you were kids, you’d cuddle up next to each other. However, now that you’re both grown up, it didn’t happen anymore. Until now..
In the middle of the night, Robin heard loud footsteps. She assumed it was one of the crew members, but she was still cautious and alert.
As the sound grew much louder, she became extremely suspicious as they suddenly became quiet before the following happened.
“I should probably be more quieter.” Luffy openly laughed to himself before not so quietly opening the door. Causing Nami to wake up in a fit of rage.
“SHUT UP.” Nami hissed at him, sending him running underneath your covers.
Luffy crawled next to you before clinging onto your arm like a koala, “Goodnight (Y/N), I love you.” He whispers.
“Luffy, do you even know what that means?”
“Oh, you were awake?” Luffy excitedly asked you. “I’m surprised, I was pretty quiet when walking over.”
“You didn’t answer my question,” You flicked his forehead twice, “Also I heard you earlier, you need to work on your sneaking skills.”
“My bad.” Luffy laughed, “Yeah I know what it means, it’s what you say to someone who you want to marry.”
“You want to marry me??” You asked him in disbelief while your face quickly heated up. It was good that he couldn’t see you in the dark.
“Of course,” He giggles excitedly, “Just don’t tell a Sanji, he said that he’d starve me, and leave me out to dry.”
“I guess I can’t let Sanji kill my husband.” You teased.
There was a pause for a good 30 seconds before you felt the bed shift. Luffy turned his head towards you, trying to read your expression for a couple seconds, before asking, “So do you love me too?”
“Yeah, I love you.”
“Okay, let’s get married.” He proposed, eagerly waiting for your response. “Are you listening to me?”
“It’s getting late, let’s just go to bed, and figure things out tomorrow.” You squeezed hand before yawning.
Luffy giggled, “Okay, goodnight (Y/N). Love you.”
“Love you too, goodnight Lu” You tried pulled him close to his chest, but he wiggled out of your grasp. Wrestling you in bed. “Get back here.”
“No, I’m trying to hold you. Stop moving around.” Luffy whined before finally pinning you down, and pulling you up against his chest. “Hehe, I win.”

“What kind of wedding are we having?” Luffy asks you casually, causing you to whip your head around in surprise. “I think we should have a lot of food, and meat.”
“You’re thinking way too far ahead right now.” You casually replied. “I thought you were kidding.”
Everyone immediately turn their heads towards Luffy, and then back at you. Sanji grips the kitchen counter dramatically before falling onto his knees.
“My worst nightmares are coming true,” He cries, “This can’t be happening..”
“We saw it coming from a mile away.” Robin smiles while Nami giggles,
“Haven’t you guys noticed how different he acts around (Y/N)?”
“Guess you didn’t realize it, huh?” Zoro taunts Sanji, who bounces back up in a passionate fit of rage.
“SHUT UP MARIMO!” He shouts before locking eyes with Luffy. “AND YOU!”
Your new lover jumps up from his seat as he carefully watches Sanji’s every move, “Please don’t starve me!” He pleads.
“I’M GOING TO KILL YOU! COME HERE YOU LITTLE SHIT!”
Luffy gives you a quick kiss on your cheek before making a quick escape. “Save some food for me, (Y/N)!” He shouts on his way out as he’s tailed by the angry cook.
“KEEP YOUR LIPS AWAY!”
