Would anyone be interested in volunteering to make a slavic mythology Webcomic/Webtoon?
So,,, does any artist wanna team up and make a slavic mythology-inspired comic?? kind of like Lore Olympus!!!
It's volunteer work, and it's not paid as I'm a student with no cash money, but art credits and all will be given to everyone who participates!!!
On this team you can work on:
-background art
-character design
-story writing
-scene drawing
-and more!!
I would really appreciate help so don't hesitate to reach out to me in DMs ^^

Do you know any slavic myths/magick? I've been searching everywhere but it seems that after the mass christianisation that occured most of it was lost and forgotten ;-;
I do! When getting into slavic path, the first things i would recommend to research are:
-slavic history (the big migration of slavs)
-different slavic pantheons (slavic paganism isn't one single pantheon, but rather had many regional variations! Such as to west, east and south slavic people , they all had their own gods that were more worshipped in that region!)
-list of slavic pseudo-deities (fake deities)
You can find that list in wikipedia!
-slavic pagan holidays (many magickal things to slavs are connected closely to their holidays, as slavic paganism is , like other pagan paths, related to nature, so in order to know slavic magick, you should know slavic holidays that correspond to rituals and magick)
Also! Here are some resources i recommend:
Slavic mythology by Louis Léger
Book "The Mythology of all races V3 celtic and slavic" is great too!
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Slavic_pseudo-deities
Some articles and books to avoid are ⚠️⚠️
Slavorum site (apparently its full of white supremacists and misinformation)
https://youtube.com/@SlavicAffairs?si=yYLhO1Q8_8kJvmku THIS CHANNEL, its "save Europe" white supremacy type of channel
And book Slavic Witchcraft by Natasha Helvin (its not worth it for its price and disappointing , doesn't go deep into the topic)
Please forgive me if I don't satisfy you with my answers!! Feel free to message me privately if you have any other questions!! 💘💘💘 This applies to you and everyone else!
I might have found the path that is right for me...
No shame to roman polytheism, but i feel like slavic paganism is right for me, and it has been right for a long time ☺️

Hey! do you worship any dieties and if so, do you have any "unconventional" practices? I work with Persephone and Nyx and I'm always looking for new ways to connect with them :)
Thanks for being open to questions I hope you have a great day
Hiiii! I worship the slavic goddess of fertility, women, women's destiny/fate and weaving. Her name is Mokosh!
I wouldn't say i have any unconventional practices, as i am quite formal with her and other gods i occasionally pray to! :) and i am not very creative with my worship haha /lh
When it comes to connecting with your deities, in your case Nyx and Persephone, the thing is that you need to find ways that work for you AND for your deities. To make sure it brings you joy and a feeling of blessing. (Which might not always be the case! You won't always feel that big feeling of blessing and connection! And that is okay! )
Thank you for asking!! I love it when you all ask me questions 🙂 /gen
Mokosh
The protector of women and women's destiny, beautiful goddess of weaving, hear my prayers.
Mokosh, aid me, your loyal follower, in my rough times and harshest days.

SLAVIC PAGANISM VIBES
Perun feels like when an uncle asks you to go to his house to escape a bad environment.
Rod feels like a family gathering with cousins you haven't seen in years.
Veles feels like a friend that is silly most of the time but sometimes is very serious.
Morana feels like when an aunt is backing you up in an argument with your mother.
Mokosh feels like covering yourself with a blanket in your babushka's old house.
Vesna feels like finding a unique flower in a field and admiring its beauty.
Baba Yaga feels like that one friend who is cold or mean, but just wants the best for you and isn't afraid to criticize your wrongs for your own growth.
Dajbog feels like walking into sunlight after sleeping for 10 hours and feeling slight headache and warmth.
Stribog feels like dipping your legs in a clean river stream as a child, and seeing the same river now polluted, years later.
Triglav feels like standing up for your friends and getting hurt, but still not regretting it.
LIKE FOR PART TWO PLS ❣️❣️❤️❤️
so i hope you don't find this disrespectful or anything, but i'm writing a story about slavic paganism in my free time.
since you're a practicing slavic pagan i wanted to ask if it was disrespectful to make up lore for the gods or give them personalities and appearances as i imagine them in my head
i promise i'm doing loads of research on the religion and i'm trying to make things as accurate as they can possibly be but in order for the story to work i need to make up stories of the things that happened between the gods or purposefully change a god's role
i'm asking just because i want to release it at some point and i don't want slavic pagans to feel dissapointed about my portrayal of the gods and the religion :(
that.. is so disrespectful of you..
JUST KIDDING
I don't see anything wrong with that!!! I actually saw a post on here saying something like "why don't pagans make up their own myths??"
And i personally believe that, as long as we are respectful, and we don't put gods in bad light, it would NOT be disrespectful 💓💓🌺
In fact, I'm sure many slavic pagans would be so happy to see a story about their religion!!
In fact, i am happy now too haha 😆
Sorry if my reply to this was unsatisfactory!! I tried my best to explain my words but, no morning coffee hahahaha..
Also! If you need any help with the story,or just wanna talk about your idea,, i am always here to discuss and help!! 💕💕💕😸😸😸

Prayer to Perun, the Slavic god of Thunder, storms, war and justice
Written by jezzzebel
Perun, the great punisher of injustice, the one who protected us for centuries, our Zaštitnik, our Gromovnik. Please help me, your loyal follower, when i need it. As you have protected my ancestors in battles against their enemies, protect me from all evil, Perun of the Oak. Punish those who break oaths with me, for you have always been fond of justice and keeping promises. Gromovnik, King of the gods, thank you for being there for me.
Glory to Perun!

Tell please, how do you feel about Mokosh when you communicate with her?
Hi!
I feel like she is quite mysterious, but i don't always know what she feels like, and what she wants to tell me exactly! I mostly communicate through prayer as that is her preference! :)
Her energy is very uncertain, with a hint of motherly love, and divinity!
But i know that she wants me to always believe that she is there for me and she just wants me to trust her!!
Thank you for asking!!! 💕❤️❤️
hey so ive read in a book that Mokosz was also perceived as a man a lot of times and i asked her about it and she confirmed that she "changes genders" and so i wanted to ask if you knew about this? and how do you feel about it?
Hmmm... I honestly never heard of Mokosh being perceived as male...
She has always appeared to me as a goddess! And since she is like, connected to women, women's destiny and fate, and works that are TRADITIONALLY seen as for women... Like sewing and weaving. I never even considered her changing genders.
If that is what you believe in tho, I absolutely respect that! :) 💕
🙂🙂🙂 thanks for the ask!!!

Chav, if you're gonna fake Adidas like a slav then have the dignity to wear a proper knockoff you spijon
it’s time to play chav or slav:

are these lads ENGLISH or SLAVIC
Czech customs taken out of context:
•Calling family and friends to kill a pig and eat it in an almost ritualistic nature
•Setting a flame and drowning an effigy of a winter goddess in an actual ritualistic nature
•Driving around a drunk ram in a decorated cart
•Guarding a shaved tree decorated with colorfull ribbons
•Chasing girls with a willow branch whip
•Carnival, but instead of dressing up as your favourite anime character, you wear funky tall hats with colorfull pom pomps glued on it, a hay costume and a bear mask, sometimes you see two dudes dressed up as a bride and a groom
•Dressing a young boy in a girl costume and pretending hes a king running away from Hungary in disguise
•Dressing up as Chort (Čert) to scare children
•Dressing up as white creatures with long beaks called "Lucky" to scare children but also adult men
•Divining future by throwing a shoe against the door, looking inside a frozen river, cutting open an apple or making a nut shell boats just to see if anyone dies or gets married next year
•Burning witches...that's it
•When drinking a toast, never cross hands with anyone, and make eye contact
•Tapping a glass of beer on a table before you drink it
• And if youre driving a car and see a village sign decorated in colorfull roses and ribbons, you're not getting out of the village any time soon
