★ Shoutout to regressors who use formal titles for carers like "mr", "ms"/mrs" , "mx" like they're at school or daycare instead of calling them "mama" / "papa" / etc. i dont see enough spotlight on using "miss/mr/mrs/mx [cg name]" instead of parental titles to be honest ( and while im here, shoutout to caregivers who take on a teacher or otherwise unorthodox approach to caregiving as opposed to just being someone's parent ! )

hii! I more than happy to try and explain (gush about fictional cgs)!

I kinda see it as an extension of self-shipping (aka shipping yourself/ having a romantic relationship with a fictional character) though not everyone who has a fictional cg is apart of the self-shipping community, the two concepts just share similar aspects.

The little may feel attached to a certain character from whatever media they like and view them as a parent figure that they look up to and/or feel a sense of comfort towards!

Its kinda like playing pretend, everyone will play with their fictional cgs differently, some may imagine or act as if they are in the same room, and others may just watch media with that character in it when regressed. We all know that they don't exist, but pretending brings us comfort and provides a way for us to have a cg without needing to find another person to be a cg (this changes per person as you can have both a fictional cg and a real person cg, or some littles may not even want an real person cg and prefer fictional cgs instead).

For me, my dada helps a lot when i feel overwhelmed through running his hands through my hair, I know that he doesnt exist and isn't actually in the room with me, but just thinking about it can help me get more relaxed. Thats kinda how it works even though it does differ for everyone.

Just bought agere gear online (I spent so much money *sob*) and now I’m hoping and praying the packing is as discreet as advertised and my parents don’t find out about the pacis and bottle in it!

I made sure the bodysuit and nightie I got I can wear around my parents i.e the patterns on them don’t have any baby things like bottles. I also bought a bow and some fuzzy socks I can definitely wear around them! Gotta show them at least something from my package or they’ll get super suspicious.

To be lying down all snuggled up in fuzzy pyjamas/onesie on a big couch or a bed, watching/listening to something comforting on a T.V (maybe a YouTuber I really like or a movie I’ve seen a million times), with a small one using my tummy as a pillow and my hand resting on their chest so they can cuddle it… to be doing that would be just lovely 🧡

They could play with my hand/fingers and I could occasionally give them head scritches. Give them a paci if they try to nibble on my hand or even a teether :3
