I give you: bi panic, animated movie edition.

Today I come to share something, I do not know if anyone else noticed it, but... remember this part of the movie?

In this scene when Arthur's sword breaks it made me realise something. In one legend of the Arthurian mythology during an adventure, king Arthur breaks his sword in an oversight, he was just a boy when he was named king, Arthur went in search of adventures that did not correspond to him and ended up breaking his sword.

And what does this mean?? when a knight breaks his sword it means that is not worthy

And to become worthy he has to go through a path of growth and maturity.

So I thought that in this scene we can see that synbolism, that he is still not worthy, just as he was not worthy to take out Excalibur, because we already know how this guy is, he is arrogant and narcissistic just like Gaston! but I know he has a long way to go to become someone worthy.

Which leads me to believe that even though this man can change through the power of love I believe there are other things that can also lead him to the right path, I know the main focus of the movie was love, but imagine a character development that involves stages to maturity

Someone will have to excuse me, but this guy either looks like howl or he looks like one of the beta versions of Merlin that looks like howl!

I kind of had fun making this... I loved making the triplets, I really enjoyed it, sorry if you notice some spelling mistakes, Italian is not my strong point!, as you can see the brothers are mechanics, the best there is in their province, and as expected there will be someone who will want to exploit their talent...

Apologise for deleting the question as you know one gets anxious about these things but m so grateful for question! Thank you for being patient with me! <3

Let's start!... first of all I want to make a statement, some of you noticed that I haven't introduced Hans yet, and I think the reasons are clear, I don't know what to do with him and it's not fair for the character, I try to make him fit in Jack's story although there are obstacles that prevent me from developing him ;(

Well leaving aside this statement I also want to say that this answer will be a bit long because well it's talking about a bit of everything.

Some stories are lighter and more romantic than others (for example Snow and Merlins story), some are realistic and raw, while others try to show how things collapsed after this war, Jack's story is about his family and their survival in occupied France, the one about the triplets is about how they are forced to lend their talents and work for the Axis Powers and how they regret doing things to harm others.

Last but not least Arthur, was a young boy that took responsibility for his home and family. The idea came about because I watched some movies about WW2 (like Schindler's List and The Pianist) plus a full-color WW2 documentary on Netflix, and then the idea just clicked in my head, the F7s are from those countries that actively participated in the war, a mind-blowing concept, what it would be like to see these characters during this period. 🤔

This is roughly how I handle this AU, but if you have any concerns please ask me, and if there are any clarifications please let me know!!!!!!!!!

By the way this project is made with all the respect that this topic deserves, I do it with the purpose of informing and educating about this topic, there are some sensitive issues and I will treat them as such.

I liked this idea so much that I made another drawing

Gwen (aka Red) studied biology for almost 4 years, she wasn't very sociable, she was withdrawn and it was hard for her to make friends, when she graduated she tried to get away from that stage of her life trying to relate with more people and get rid of her loneliness and fear of people

In a few words this is how this story begins, Red looking for friendships and finding a friend who makes her feel good, although at the beginning it is not like that

Yes, I also agree that the maps do not match and it is quite interesting and open to interpretation, although it may be a continuity error, I like to think that these stories take place in an archipelago (I would like to think), so the inhabitants of the main island (Fairy Tale island) were discovering new islands around and soon they will start to populate them, so the maps were modified as a result of the expansion

I still agree with your point about the expansion!

Fairy Tale Island Maps Don't Match

Alright, so I'm writing my Red Shoes fanfic when a thought hits me: where is Corrone, the kingdom I created going to be? I get very into lore dives and end up falling down rabbit holes, so please bear with me.

Spoilers ahead!

So I started looking at the map of Fairy Tale Island shown at the beginning of the film. It seems old with its yellowness, ripped edges, and faded ink. However, there are several illustrations of fairy tale stories that we are familiar with across it. However, in Red Shoes, these stories seem to be taking place at similar times and are heavily suggested as such, have yet to begin, or have just been "completed." It depends on where you are and what kingdom you are in as news travels pretty slowly (that'll be a topic for another time).

Regardless of how this map looks, it doesn't match the one that the F7 have in their home/command post which we see after the team "rescues" Red Shoes from the wooden bunny (King White under Regina's curse).

This map looked extremely different from the map above which led me to study the whole map of Fairy Tale Island. I wanted to see if there were similar landforms that would tie these two maps together. And guess what? I might have found where this island might be!

This small island just off the coast of Fairy Tale Island matches the F7's map. It's the right size and even has that strange rock structure or something similar on the left-hand side of it. Yes, the shape is a little off as the maps could have been made by different cartographers or it could be that the smaller island lacks the details since it isn't the main map of Fairy Tale Island. Either way, it is plausible.

If this is true, then Fairy Tale Island is so much bigger than what the film shows. Additionally, it would make sense for Fairy Tale Island to be so large as it is supposed to house every fairy tale to have ever been told. So here's an interesting thought, what if Fairy Tale Island is continuously expanding/growing?

New stories are told every day which means that there needs to be a place to put them all on the island somehow. Additionally, this suggests that Fairy Tale Island exists outside of space. Perhaps anything is possible on Fairy Tale Island?

I was supposed to finish a drawing, but instead I'm procrastinating with Arth making easy expressions, and since I want to evade responsibilities, if anyone has any headcanon about him that you want to share and want me to draw it, just make a suggestion

1 Diana no tiene ningún hermano/a, no tiene ningún familiar ya que ella proviene de una comunidad aislada que no cree en los lazos familiares ni fraternales (es un culto en varias cosas) su comunidad es su familia y al ella estar en el círculo de los cazadores (son los vigilantes de su aldea) considera a sus compañeros lo más cercano a sus hermanos, en cuanto a su infancia parece por su rostro inexpresivo qué pasó una vida dura pero todo lo contrario, ella estuvo muy feliz con su estilo de vida cuando era pequeña, puesto que era todo lo que conocía, jamás sintió que no encajara o la llegaron a maltratar, fue consentida por su pueblo al verla como la cazadora perfecta por su físico y su inteligencia

2 La verdad es que la historia de mi oc tomo un rumbo inesperado, yo creé a Diana con una conocida de Instagram que también creó su propio oc, y las creamos con la idea que fueran pareja pero actualmente no estoy en comunicación con esa persona así que por ahora Diana estará soltera, a mi me gusta creer que la interacción que tiene con Hans es tierna y que ella lo ve como un niño al cual proteger ^^

3 Si! Ella es de una parte de la isla con temperaturas bajas, pero lo puede resistir porque es descendiente de vikingos que llegaron a la isla mucho tiempo atrás

4 Pues su relación con el cast es variado, Hans y ella se llevan bien aunque Diana no hable demasiado o lo demuestre (le encanta sus postres) con los trillizos está fascinada por las cosas que inventan y cada que los ve les pregunta cosas o si inventan los observa con curiosidad, Merlin le da desconfianza por la magia que posee y por un tiempo le tuvo miedo pero después aprende sobre la magia y considera a Merlin como su mentor, con Jack no tiene una relación estrecha, ella solo lo tolera porque no le gusta que sea tan materialista, pero Jack está encantado con su estilo y su forma de vida, Snow quiere mucho a Diana por su forma de ser y quiere enseñarle el mundo de afuera, mientras que Diana tiene sentimientos encontrados porque por un lado respeta a Snow como líder y monarca pero siente que es su enemiga por conflictos qué hay entre su gente y el reino blanco, a pesar de esa desconfianza Diana no es hostil con ella y con el tiempo le agarra cariño. Y Arthur es un caso muy aparte porque Diana lo detesta a morir por todo, su personalidad, su forma de hablar y que sea crea tan fuerte, y el también se siente así, todo lo que es Diana es despreciado por Arthur, cada que pueden se agarran con la chancla y se dan sus buenos golpes, pero siempre llega alguien para separarlos y que no se maten xd
