THE INVESTIGATION
Summery: They should have seen it coming… Ferrari was going to conduct an internal investigation about some of the races, even though the championship wasn’t even over yet. (This is pure fiction and it probably won’t be accurate, not even a little bit. I am no expert, everything is made up).
Warnings: this is not proofread. Poor English, not even a little bit of accuracy, not very Mattia Binotto friendly
Pairing: Charles Leclerc x reader
The age of the reader is not specified but in my head she just a little bit older than Charles, like 27-30 years old but that’s just in my head
You were standing there, just staring at the building, trying to breath: you knew that as soon as you were to enter the building you couldn’t be your usual self, you were going to be what was asked of you and most importantly what was needed of you.
You already knew what most of the people inside that building were going to think of you, what they were going to call you, you already knew because it was always the same: they were going to think you were a bitch, the mean lady- or pretentious little girl as some liked to call you for your young age- that was going to ruin their life. As if you were happy when your presence ended in people getting fired.
The building was towering over you in a scaring way, even scarier was thinking what your presence here meant. If you could have chosen you wouldn’t be here, your job wasn’t going to be pretty but you knew someone had to do it and who better than you.
“You’re not gonna believe this, but somehow the press knows already”- James, your assistant, said interrupting your thoughts
You kept your eyes on the building in front of you but hummed so he knew you had heard him
“But you already knew that”- he was looking at you with knowing eyes
“I did”- you said still looking at the building
“You were the one leaking the news, weren’t you?”- he asked, even if he already knew the answer to that
“Yes, it was me”
“Why? We’re gonna lose the element of surprise”- James not always understood your moves, you knew that, as you knew he wasn’t asking to undermine your decision but to understand it better
“We don’t need to surprise them, we need to put some pressure on them”- you took a deep breath and started to walk, your team behind you.
The little bit of fear, you were feeling a moment before, was already gone: you were here to do a job and you were going to nail it like you always did.
(Just to be clear this GIF doesn’t imply that the reader is white, it’s just the only one I found.)
The guard at the front of the building had been eyeing you and your team since you had arrived; you were sure he wasn’t used to new people trying to get in the building unless a tour had been scheduled for the day, and you didn’t think the man had been informed of your arrival.
You tried to wear your most reassuring smile and approached the door
“Buongiorno”- (Good Morning) the guard mirrored your smile
“Buongiorno, scusi il disturbo. È possibile entrare?”- you asked (Good morning and sorry for the trouble. Can we come in?)
“Mi dispiace signora, ma il complesso non è aperto per le visite oggi”- (I’m so sorry madame, but it’s not possible to visite the building today) you could tell the man was actually sorry for you and you sincerely smiled at him. It was always nice to meet kind people during a, what you were sure, was going to be a though day, if not weeks of work.
“Lo so, sono qui per vedere il Signor Binotto, qualcosa mi dice che mi sta aspettando”- (I know, I’m here to see Mr Binotto, I’m sure he’s waiting for me by now) the man looked a little bit startled, confirming your suspension that still very few people knew what was going to happen even if you had leaked the news. Despite his surprise, the guard didn’t hesitate to call the team principal
“Grazie, possiamo aspettare qui?” - you asked getting a positive nod from the man (Thank you, can we wait here?)
You and your team hadn’t been waiting long that Mattia Binotto appeared in the hall
“Salve”- he was smiling but you could see suspicious in his eyes: he couldn’t be sure but he knew who you were
“Hello Mr Binotto, I’m Y/n Y/l/n. I’m sure you have been informed of my arrival”- you said smiling at the man.
“Yeah I was informed this morning”
“Good, so without further ado, I would like to start today by looking at the cars and at the reports of the races you have run until now this year. I’m gonna need to talk with some of your employees, of course I don’t think I’ll be able to do all today but- “ you weren’t looking at the man while talking, too taken by the schedule you had made for yourself and your time on your iPad, so you hadn’t seen the look Binotto was giving you, but you heard the harsh tone with which he stopped your speach
“I don’t know who you think you are but you can’t come here and…”- you were usually a polite person and you didn’t like interrupting people, but you had learned long ago that with some people if you let them squished you once they were gonna do it again and again.
You knew you and Binotto were playing a game to see who had the upper hand right now and you almost wanted to laugh at the man for thinking even for a second you were going to “bow” to him.
“Let me stop you right there dear, I don’t care what you think Mr Binotto. I’m here to do a job and I’m gonna do it with or without your help, but let me give you a piece of advice : when I write my final report you’re gonna want me to say that the team principal was very accommodating and provided all the help we needed during our investigation. Because at the end of this investigation, if my report is not gonna be very positive, it’s possible that some head are gonna fall”- yeah you could be over the top sometimes, but you needed this man to understand the seriousness of the situation and you weren’t sure he had yet.
“Are you threatening ing me? Do you think you’re the first person trying to come for my job?”- Binotto said
“Don’t make me laugh, I don’t want your job or anyone else’s. I love my job, I’m good at it and I love Ferrari, that’s why I was sent here. And just to make myself clear, I’m not threatening you not anyone else. If everyone has done his job as they should have, you have nothing to fear from me; but if something doesn’t add up I’m gonna find out, and I’m gonna vividly recommend to fire who is not performing well and can I tell you a little secret, I have found out that usually when you cut the problem at the top , you have more chance to fix it and progress from there. Now are you gonna show me what I need or do I have to find it for myself?”
“This way, but I’m gonna ask for you to be the only one in the room, there are some confidential information”-Binotto said
“Of course me and my team are gonna be very discreet about it”- you smiled
“Your team? Absolutely not”
“I’m tired already”- you whispered and you could hear your team softly laughing at you- “I’m a very smart woman, but I’m not such a know-all to think I can correctly evaluate everything without my strategist, my engineer, my mechanic and go on. “
“If you need any information you can count on my team to help you, if something is not clear to you”- he was still defying you, but you weren’t scared a minute before and you weren’t going to start now. The little fear you had once felt, disappeared as soon as you entered the building.
“Yeah I’m sure your team would be so eager to show me any possible mistakes. You can whine as much as you want, but I have full access to every inch of this establishment and everything it contain, nothing can go out until my investigation is over, just to be clear . My team has the same access as me and that’s that. If you’re not happy about it, you can complain with your CEO since he’s the one who sent me here. Now I’m done with waisting my time.” - you stopped looking at Binotto all together. You had tried to be nice but you weren’t going to waste any more of your time- “Signor Giovanni vero?”- you said moving your attention to the guard at the front (Mister Giovanni right?)
“Si signora” (yes madam)
“Signor Giovanni, da questo momento fino a quando non sarò io a dirle differentemente, nessun documento può uscire da questo edificio senza la mia autorizzazione. Quindi dovrò chiederle di controllare qualsiasi borsa, qualsiasi zaino, qualsiasi busta in uscita e in ingresso. Se le sto chiedendo troppo, non esiti a farmelo presente e le affiancheremo qualcuno per aiutarla fino a quando non toglierò il disturbo”- (Mr Giovanni, from now on and since I tell you otherwise nothing, not even a blank piece of paper, can leave or enter this building without my authorization. So I’m gonna need you to check every purse, every backpack everything that goes out or in the building.If I’m asking too much of you, please let me know and I’ll be sure to find someone to help you until my job here is done)- you smiled trying to be as reassuring as possible, you weren’t here to make friends but you could try not to make too many enemies at least, beside Mattia Binotto of course. You could feel his eyes burning holes in your head and you almost smirked at him, you didn’t necessarily want to antagonize him but man, did he need to be put in his place.
“Certamente signora, farò quello che chiede”- Giovanni said (of course madam, I’ll do as you ask)
“Oh no, non mi chiami signora la prego o mi farà sentire vecchia. La ringrazio per la sua gentilezza Signor Giovanni, le lascio il numero del mio assistente, non esiti a chiamare per qualsiasi motivo, meglio una domanda in più che una in meno.” (Don’t call me Madam please or I’m gonna feel too old. I really appreciate your kindness Mr Giovanni, I’m gonna leave you my assistant’s number, please call him if you have any questions or need any help)
You smiled once again at the man before looking at your team again
“James please be sure to explain to Mr Giovanni what we need from him and if needed stay with him as long as necessary. Now we are gonna…-“ you stopped to look at the front once again when you felt eyes on you. There at the entrance , there were none other than Carlo Sainz and Charles Leclerc, the Ferrari drivers
“Hello Mr Leclerc, Mr Sainz”- you smiled at the drivers, trying to control your inner fangirl. -“It’s so nice to meet you. I’m Y/n Y/l/n, I’m gonna try my best not to interfere too much with your work, the last think we want is for the drivers to lose their focus. I’m here to make sure you have all the elements to succeed. This being said, I’m gonna leave you to your day, I’m sure we’ll have the time to talk. Have a good day”- You looked one last time at the drivers: Carlos was faintly smiling, it was clear he was unsure how to behave himself but he didn’t want to be rude, if you had to bet he had read the news of the investigation. Your eyes met the other driver’s eyes Charles, and you felt your heartbeat skipping a second, you could almost lose yourself in the green of his eyes.
You looked at his lips and damn it if they didn’t look enticing, you really wanted to know how they felt like, you could only hope he knew how to use those sinful lips, it would be such a shame otherwise.
A smirk appeared on his face and that was enough to clear your mind and let you focus on the task at hand once again.
You took a breath and turned around, you couldn’t lose your focus, even though…. Nope, not going there.
You nodded at your team and started walking like you were the owner of the room like your mother had thought you.
“Let’s go guys , we have work to do”- you looked at Mattia Binotto once again before leaving the room… it was going to be a tough job and you were pretty sure the principal had no intention of helping you.
And as though you didn’t have enough problems already, you needed to make sure to have as little interaction as possible with Charles Leclerc.

Summery: you are invited to partecipate to the “Call her daddy” podcast, and after a serious considerstion, you decide to accept and to be unfiltered

When you had been asked to partecipate to the “Call her daddy” podcast, the first thing that had come to your mind had been an HARD NO! There was no way you were going to let anyone convince you otherwise: you were a shy person, you felt uncomfortable when people asked you too much personal questions during interviews. This side of you was so well known that many of your costars were always ready to come to your help when you started to get too flustered about the questions you were asked during interviews.
So no, there was no way that you were to be a guest of a podcast during which you were going to be asked personal questions for sure.
Your agent had asked you to think about it a little bit more before turning the invitation down, she had pointed out that even though you had been an actress for long people still didn’t know much about you, and even though there wasn’t nothing bad with being a private person, it would be good for your career if you would be able to open a little bit more, just a little bit so that your fan could know you and sympathize with you and your life. You had promised her to think about it, because she actually had had a point, even though you were sure that after giving a couple of more thoughts and after talking with your boyfriend, you would have still come to the same conclusion: you couldn’t do it.
Instead...
Your boyfriend, like the goddman perfect man that he was, had told you that he couldn’t make the decsion for you, that it would be something huge for you, so that you had to really think it through to understand if you could do it: it wouldn’t make any sense if you decided to go but in the end wouldn’t be able to be very honest and answer even some uncomfortable questions. He had also told that you could never know if your interview wouldn’t end up helping someone finding out new things about thmselves.
So yes you had decided to try in the end and here you were trying to sit comfortably on a sofa ready to do this.
“Y/n Y/sn, welcome to call her daddy. How did you decide what you wanted to wear today?”- the host, Alexandra Copper, asked
“Well I just wanted to be comfortable so there wasn’t much of a choice. For a moment I had thought to come in my sweatpants, but then I thought I should at least put a little bit of un affort, so yeah in the end it was a jeans and a sweater ”- you smiled, you hadn’t expected fot that first question, but it actually helped calm you a little bit.
“I mean, sweatpants would have still been a great choice but you look really cute and comfortable so that’s what matter. So Y/n you are a very well known actress and I saw when you arrived how many paps followed you, how do you deal with that?”- Alexandra asked
“Well first of all thank you for the’ very well known’… I mean it’s not ideal and it’s not my favorite thing about my career for sure, but I think what helps is that they mostly bother you when you are in LA, anywhere else they are few and far and they usually are more interested in me when I am with my boyfriend. If I am alone most of the time I manage with just a couple of photos you know, so they can say they did their job; but when my boyfriend Henry is with me they go bananas. So I get that the solution for me would be to change boyfriend”- you and Alexandra both laughed in the end, both knowing it was a joke.
“So let’s get into it, you are in a relationship with one of the most famous person in the world, Henry Cavill, Superman himself. What are the best parts?”- she asked
“Well for starters Henry is one of the best person, if not THE best person, i have ever met in my life, he is one of those people that always thinks about others, that always does his best to make people happy and comfortable. So yeah the very best part I think his Henry himself. We met in a very delicate moment of my life and, even before we started dating, he had always been there for me, to support me, he is like my rock you know, my best friend”- you said, hoping that you didn’t sound like a fangirl with her first crush
“You guys are really cute together and I think that the love you two share is so pure and authentic that a lot of people can see it, even from the outside, even just watching you talk with one another, I think that’s a reason why like almost everyone really love you together”
“Thank you, it’s really nice to know people are supportive of our relationship, not that people hate would change how we feel about each other, I mean he would still be my soulmate even if there was a lot of hate direct at us, but it’s nice”- you smiled and you really meant it because when Henry had asked you out the first time 6 years ago you had been very unsure: he was already very much famous and you had just started your career and the last thing you wanted was for people to even remotely think that you were just dating him to boost your career. And adding to that there was an age difference that didn’t make either of you uncomfortable but you knew that most people probably wouldn’t like that. It had taken you a little bit of time to let your fear of what people could think behind and just decide to do what your heart was telling you to do.
“How has you dating such a famous person impacted your identity?”
“That’s a good question, I think that dating Henry, as Henry not as famous person you know, has added to my identity a lot like any other relationship would. I was a lot younger and he was a little bit older than I am now when we first started dating so I actually grew up during the relationship so yeah it has changed me for the best I think. Dating him has for sure helped me become the woman I am now; I dont’ know if I am explaining myslef”- you laughed sure that you had made a mess
“No no I get it, every relationship teach you a lot you know, have you ever received hate at the beginning of your relationship because of the age gap?”
“I mean people can be judgimental and at the beginning of our relantioship it was a real fear of mine, not of Henry, he didn’t care, again he was more mature than me back then so he was like ‘I am not doing anything wrong, I’m not hurting anybody so fuck them’ you know. And in the end Henry’s attitude rubbed off on me and when the months went on and then years went on and we were still together and people couldn’t say that he was with me only for sex or I was with him only for his money or his fame, it all passed. So yeah, he never cared about the possible hate and I started to not care anymore after some time too.”
“I get it, you know haters gotta hate so the only thing you can do is be happy”- Alexandra said
“Exactly”
“So this is a question that I hadn’t planned to ask so you can decide not to answear without any problem I swear, but it has been a curiosity of mine for so long that I have to.”
“You are scaring me”- you laughed trying to stay calm
“no no don’t be scared, I’ve watched your last film the other night, wonderful job by the way”
“Thank you”- you stopped her for a second
“So there was a very intimate scene in the film and I have always wondered how are you able to play that scene, I mean I know you are an actor and of course it’s your job but isn’t it difficult to pretend?”-Alexandra finished her question
“Oh my god, you really scared me but I can answear that. It’s difficult, it really is, for me in particular it is more difficult to shoot an intimate scene than one where I am supposed to be sad or angry or whatever. It becomes easier with the experience of course but it wasn’t at the beginning. I still remember my first sex scene, it was such a flop because when you shoot an intimate scene it’s basically like you have to fake an orgasm and I really didn’t know how to”
“Oh come on every woman knows how to fake an orgasm because everyone has had to fake at least once”- alexandra argued
“I know it sounds difficult to believe but I haven’t, I have had my first sexual relationship, and can’t believe I’m actually saying it, with Henry and I haven’t ever needed to fake”
“Wait, leaving behind that you have never needed to fake with your boyfriend so lucky you, you didn’t date anyone before Henry?”- you thought a second before answering, you weren’t ashemed of who you were, of your experience but this was the first time you actually opened up about this side of yourself
“I had some dates before Henry but never a sexual partner before him. I am actually demisexual, I don’t feel sexual attraction if I don’t have an emotional connection first and a lot of people don’t have the patience to wait for me to get there. So I tried dating for a while but once I saw people getting impatient after the second or third date I actually stopped dating for a while. Beside I had just started my career and I knew I needed to be focused so I swore off dating, at least untill I met Henry, that is. And even then it was a while before I agreeded to a date but he is a very stubborn person”- you took a deep breath
“I didn’t know that”
“It’s ok, I don’t think anyone did other than my friend and family”- you smiled at her
“I’m really glad you decided to open up and now for the most difficult questions”- she started and you both laughed because you knew what was coming -”this is the part where we talk about your sex life if it’s ok”- Alexandra double checked even though you had already given the all clear before the interview began
“I’m ready”
“We need to give the fan what they want, to give them a little taste. So are you a morning sex or a night sex person?”- she asked
“I’m more like the morning sex kinda girl because it gives you a boost for the day you know. But both Henry and I, we work a lot and even though we try to make sure our work plan align as much as we can, it’s not always possible. So the real answear would be whenever we are together and have time.”- you could see the mirth in Alexandra’s eyes
“You gotta make it count right?”
“Right”- you nodded at her
“Has anyone ever tried to have a threesome with you and Henry?”
“If you mean if anyone ever have approached us in person, no, but a lot of people have asked on tweeter And the answer would be a no anyway, not only for me but even for Henry. He is not into sharing I’m afraid and not even I am. Sorry guys”- you laughed , yu were finding yourself to have actually fun… who would have thought
“Do you and Henry have the same favorite sex positions?”
“I think so”
“Can you give us one?”- Alexandra smiled trying to get more from you
“We like to change and experiment but my all time favorite would be cowgirl”- you answered in the end
“You heard it here, what is the sexiest think that Henry does that turns you on?”
“I mean you have seen my boyfriend, he can just look at me with those beautiful eyes of him and the love that I always find there is always enough to get me ready to go”- you laughed not even understanding how was possible for you to feel so comfortable to answear withouth any problem -”but one of the thing that turn me the most on is actually watching Henry work out”
“What is the sexiest thing that you do that turn Henry on?”
“wearing his clothes probably”
“Y/n Y/sn we are done, thank you for being here and thank you for being so open and honest, it was really nice to have you here”- Alexandra said at the end.
“Thank you for having me, I thought long and hard before agreeing to come because I knew of course the question would be really personal but I am actually gald I accepted to come”
And you meant it, you were glad in the end that you had changed your mind but you couldn’t wait to leave the building and go back to your boys.

Yesterday, my silly self spent 2 hours at work trying to structure Alex Turner and Miles Kane's songs into a cohesive Milex conversation playlist.😶🌫️
RPF is only fun when there are facts. The songs are like love letters. And they just show me two bi men who were (are?) in love and can only clearly communicate feels via shimmering liquid melody and poetry.
I dont care about ethics but rpf seems like it requires a lot of research.
Yeah but that's secretly the fun part.
To me RPF is so damn satisfying because it has a lot of real in it. In this fandom, we have Cleveland videos 🤤 . Those things happened and they were hot and I love you all for celebrating them.
But we can't lose sight of the people at the center of this conversation. I don't want to see them being harassed. They made art that we love and the art is ours forever now. They don't owe us anything.
The best thing about being in music fandom is that it's a really complex type of art we're being given. Do Milex songs talk to each other? I think so. But I also think that the songs live their own life after being released into the world.
Jeff Tweedy of Wilco (who wrote my favorite book about creativity, How to Write One Song) wrote about this beautifully in the song What Light:

It's a beautifully brave thing, putting bits of yourself in your art and then singing things you'd never say out loud to audiences of thousands.
One of the reasons I love writing/reading fanfic is that it gives me space to process feelings and learn things and then say things I've never been able to say out loud in my real life. But I get to share my creations behind a username.
Fiction is fun
Milex for me isn’t about being sure they are or have been an actual couple. I honestly don’t know if they have ever breached the plutonic/romantic boundary, and it’s none of my business. Would I be delighted to find out that they were in love and happy? Of course I would! That would be beyond wonderful!! But until that happens, I’m here for other things.
I do feel strongly about all this, though please don’t take that as a suggestion that everyone must (or even should) feel the same way. I know and respect that a lot of you feel very differently about this. I love that about this community. And I truly value how fun, funny, passionate, clever, loving, open, and welcoming this community has been over the last year since I’ve been involved. 🥰😘
We are all on tumblr, as far a as I can tell, to explore and share what makes us tick. So, milex, for me is a:
a) feel good hormone hit - their obvious and pure love for each other is so lovely and heart bursting. Their passion for what they do together, and clear appreciation of what they each bring to the team is just so life-affirming.
B) a beautiful rabbit hole to explore music, identity, culture and ideas that are often new to me. Last night I finally watched In The Mood for Love and it was great. I’m so glad that I have been promoted to engage with something I wouldn’t otherwise have.
C) sexy AF… of course Alex & Miles themselves are extremely attractive, but it’s mostly down to the excellent writers here and on Ao3. But I prefer my erotica with established characters that i am familiar with, avoiding time consuming context explainations before getting to explore the sexy parts of their story. So it’s a lovely short cut to explore feelings of desire, sexuality, love and all the rest. perhaps this is delusional, but I honestly feel I have somehow unconsciously separated the real people from the characters in fics. Either way, it’s very difficult to imagine how I’d never meet either of them, so I feel fine about that.
Even if you hate this, I hope we can still be mutuals. If not, I’m fine with that too.
