X-MEN '97 SPOILER ALERT!!!
I'm so sooo happy that Roberto da Costa was included in the new x-men show! lesgoooooo ššššš they're so cute together...šš¤§š¤§š¤§
Okay yāall, I just finished episode 5, here are some of my thoughts on it!
SPOILERS
-Bruh this bald bitch Xavier is getting on my NERVES. Like I get why you did what you did but you REALLY had to go to get some space girlfriend instead of helping your X-Men? Like I think Magneto KNEW he was going to space because he even mentioned how Xavier went with his Shiāar Queen- thatās WILD
-Also I didnāt think I realized the magnitude (heh heh, get it?) of what Magneto did until this episode. He does realize heās probably killing an assload of mutants too right? Like bro has good points but I think killing thousands of people including mutants and like the entire planet may be a tad too far
-Why were they in space when Xavier met with President Kelly? Did I miss something?
-I wasnāt surprised that Rouge joined magneto, but Roberto joining threw me through the loop. I get why, I just didnāt expect it. I mean Iām proud of him though. I wish there was more time before the final battle so we could see Roberto interacting with Magneto and Rouge since weāve only ever seen him and Jubilee together. (more in next bulletin point about those two) I just feel like there could have been more character interactions in general here. Too much was focused on just fighting. Like how the hell did we go from having 12 hours to 1 so quickly? The fuck????
-More about Rouge, loved her talk with Professor X, you tell āem Rouge! Also I love that she wore Gambitās jacket, I thought it was really sweet.
-Roberto worrying about hurting Jubilee? AWKDKGBDLFN MY HEART AHENGELFKDK like I donāt really know how J feel about romance with them but their friendship and stuff is so adorable and then to have it break like that! Like of course Jubilee would be mad! Roberto effectively went against her family!
-My Queen, my absolute GODDESS storm returned! Yay! I loved the little sister moment Jean and her shared. She had some super cool fighting scenes though, I love how they animate her abilities. I donāt like how my QUEEN GOT MURKED AGAIN WHAT THE FUCK!!!!! So unfair
-Real talk why the FUCK did they send Wolverine to confront Magneto? Honestly Magneto could have done what he did at the end at literally any point, dude was playing it nice. Also, my Morphine loving ass really wishes there was a goodbye scene between Morph and Logan. I mean K know heās gonna be okay though. Itās Wolverine. I hope we actually get to see more of his healing abilities, we never get too see thoseā¦.. I mean he is going to be okay, right? My heart cannot take Logan dying heās like one of my favorite X-Men. Honestly I feel like X-Men 97 havenāt really been doing him right. But itās pretty much the Scott and Jean show so, go figure
-More on Morph: they got called THEM again!!! That made me so happy! :) but I was a little bit confused when Rouge said something along the lines of: āMorph barely joined our team for 30 minutes and we threw them to the wolvesā what does that mean? Am I missing something? Is it from the original show? Because I didnāt watch it so if someone could explain please do!!
-As for Cable, it was really cool to see his powers get shown off! That was awesome. I like the interaction he had with Scott too. Honestly ever since they introduced Cable I was hoping for a Deadpool cameo, hopefully for season two. A girl can only dream.
-Then onto Nightcrawler! Once again my dude has AWESOME GOATED fighting skills!!!!!! We love him. I was surprised he didnāt really try to talk Rouge down during the battle but that fight was way too fast paced. I really liked the scene with the Rosary. I donāt really know why since Iām not religious or anything, I just thought that it was a nice touch.
-Gonna do Scott and Jean in one I guess. I liked the fight between Jean and Mr.Sinister. I think itās crazy that she could telepathically communicate with Scott that far away. Thatās cool. I hope Cable doesnāt kill her. On another note, I love Scott and Jean. Like this show has done WONDERS for Scottās character but why does EVERYTHING have to be about them?! Theyāre like the only two characters that got like any character time the entire episode!
-And then because apparently I decided to do everyone I might as well say stuff about Beast, next Iāll do Magneto. (Can you tell this wasnāt planned at all and Iām just rambling lmao?) anyway, Beast was pretty chill here. I always like the little quips he throws out during a fight, and I like that heās friends with Forge. He is a very swag dude. Iām a little surprised to see him hanging around near the reporter still, especially since she was revealed to be a sentient bot thing and like Roberto said, she somewhat chose to be turned into something that would fight against mutants. But beast is a very peaceful and forgiving person, so I suppose it makes sense.
-Finally, Magneto! Fun fact throughout this entire thing I kept spelling it magneato because I think heās mag-neat-o (I should be burned at the stake). Well, I would say that if I didnāt think he was a FUCKING IDIOT! Bro another PLANET?! Please tell me how he was planning on loading every mutant up to another planet. I would LOVE to know. There were different ways he could have gone about it, but NOPE. Also- LEECH ACTUALLY DIED?! CKDIFNSKGKELGL SOBBING ACTUALLY SHED A TEAR- like I donāt know what I should have expected but Iām still sad about it. So I guess a huge part of this is a product of grief not just for Genosha but also Leech. God thatās so sad bro-
Forge- unfortunately not much to say here :( I do hope heās okay though! Heās a really good pilot and very smart!
Overall, I just think this episode was way too rushed. I wish there were more character moments. I mean the professor isnāt dead? Hell I would have punched that old man in the face! I really think the first season should have been longer. I know people disagree but I just want to see more things between other characters that donāt feel so rushed. Thatās all I want. I want to see more of my faves instead of having them constantly thrown to the side.

Summary: When he arrives in the mutant sovereign nation of Krakoa, (M / N) feels a little apprehensive, until he meets a charming countryman to make him feel at home.
(M / N) walked through the gate, afraid, apprehensive, he didn't know very well what to expect for him on the other side, but he knew that anything would be better than the nightmare he lived with his āfamilyā because he was mutant and gay. "Everything will be fine, now you're fine" - Said Storm as he held hands with the trembling boy passing through the portal. When he can finally see Krakoa he felt he had died and that was paradise.
A few days later he was still impressed with how everyone there managed to communicate, even with the linguistic differences of mutants coming from all over the world, the telepaths in charge were really powerful. He had been assigned to live near the home of the New Mutants, a team he had heard a lot about. He avoided the most famous mutants, fear of running out of reaction, in fact he was avoiding everyone in the past few days. Ororo was one of the only ones in which he felt confident, since it was she who rescued him from the nightmare he lived in, she always found him close to the beach. The water made (M / N) calm, after all his mutation was to have control over the water, in all its states. He always felt the need to be close to water, whether it be the sea or a stream. It was already late at night, and (M / N) played making small animals with the shape of water, while reflecting on his new life, on how perfect everything was but he still wanted to be able to make friends, but every year he kept locked make the little boy with (H / C) too shy.
He heard a sound of footsteps approaching, he thought it would be Ororo, she used to come and talk to him at that time, but when he looked back the boy almost had a heart attack.
āHi, is it (M / N) right? I didn't mean to scare you, I'm sorry. ā It was none other than Roberto da Costa, speaking in Portuguese with him. Simply one of the mutants he most sought to avoid, perhaps, just a little, due to the great admiration and even a certain passion (M / N) had for him.
"Okay, I was just distracted, can I help you with something?"
"Actually, I came to help you, handsome boy" (M / N) instantly flushed with praise. Roberto sat beside him, and began to make small circles with his fingers in the sand. "Ororo told me that you have been feeling a little out of place, she thought that maybe because we are from the same country we could understand each other."
Of course, a handsome and cool boy like that would not approach for anything, (M / N) thought.

āI heard that your powers have to do with water, quite opposite to mine, right? How do they work? ā
(M / N) couldn't believe that Sunspot was there asking him about his powers.
"It's no big deal, I can manipulate the water in her three physical states, and I've tried a few more things, but I still have to train." "SERIOUSLY? This is so cool! Can you show me?"
(M / N) found it a little unbelievable that the boy who had already lived with mutants with much more incredible powers was interest on his, but still accepted the request of the beautiful boy by his side and concentrated on the water, taking a portion of the sea and making it turn into a beautiful snowflake.
"Can you make it snow?" Roberto asked with wide eyes.
"No, no, no, I have no control over the climate, it's just restricted to water and things made up of water"
Roberto was silent, (M / N) thought he had finally lost interest in him. After a few minutes of thinking Roberto said: "If you manipulate any object with water, and the human body is made up of 70% water, could you control a person?" He said all this too excitedly, but the memory (M / N) had about it was not pleasant.
"Yes ... I can control the blood inside people, because there is water and basically make them move the way I want to, but it takes a lot of effort and I don't like to do that, the only time I did it doesn't bring me good memories" .
Roberto realized that he touched on a delicate subject for the newcomer, so suddenly, Roberto gave him a hug. (M / N) felt that he was going to literally die.
āDude, did you ever imagine that you could be an omega-level mutant? My god imagines Bobby's face when he knows that there is another mutant that manipulates ice. A powerful, beautiful and Brazilian mutant, I think the Universe has finally fulfilled my requests ā.
(M / N) wasn't stupid but he didn't want to interpret it the way he thought it was ... But he didn't have time to answer, Roberto got up and held out his hand, helping the boy to get up.
"Come on, water boy, I think you and I are going to have a lot of fun, you're going to love my friends and I'm going to show you all the cool places on the island, with an emphasis on those that have water I promise".
(M / N) couldn't believe what was going on, but he was starting to feel that he could open up more, and that maybe Krakoa really was completely a paradise.
