do people know about bangs? i feel like a lot of people don't, even if they have duckduckgo as their default search engine, but they're incredibly useful, they're essentially shortcuts to search other sites
if I type "!w segmented turning" into duckduckgo, it searches wikipedia for "segmented turning" and takes me to that page. if I search for something that doesn't exist, I get the results page on wikipedia.
i can use !yt to search youtube, !rgate for researchgate, !unic for unicode symbols, !worldcat for worldcat.org, !osm for openstreetmaps, even ao3. There's thousands of them already (you can see existing bangs here) and if one doesn't exist you can suggest new ones
i can effectively search almost any website without needing to leave my address bar it's so convenient
it’s crazy how much diversity there can be in one species…these are all pictures of the same bird species (red-tailed hawk)

Eye-Color References
Here are some colored eye references. I tried to think of different eye colors for dragons and these are the ones I came up with. If you guys want more colors, and when I reach 6, I will make another one. Thanks! :)
Me trying to figure out how he caught Elmo: "Ahh, he got the Velcro"

Hello everyone, I’ll be using this blog to collect smite references of every kind to help with art, cosplay, writing and anything else. It’ll purely be collection of art and guides so no shit posts round here!
The guides will range from ones pre-exsisting, new ones created by myself and one by others - sumbit is always open!
Also looking for admins, since literally just run by me ( @the-smite-teacher ) so please send me a message if you’d be interested!
Hope this blog helps!
Gale's Room in Waterdeep Reference

A few notes:
Is that a statue of Mystra on his desk?
His bench looks pretty old
Quite a lot of statues and paintings around his room
Empty display case in back
His book is called "The Art of the Night"
Let me know if you'd like a closer view of anything in this room.
can i ask where you find references for Buff Girl Arms?? whenever i try to look up buff arms (in general) it's always like, super huge body builders n stuff which isnt the most helpful
OH THIS IS A GREAT QUESTION because i ran into the exact same issue! i got so tired of shifting through 1000 overly muscled body builders, so i had to change how i thought about looking for refs. instead of googling “woman muscles” or something that would bring up muscular developed for the look of it, i started thinking about how and why they’d be buff. FOR EXAMPLE: Kate Bishop is an archer so I started to research female Olympic archers like Khatuna Lorig. For someone like Illyana, who uses the long sword, I thought about athletes who use a lot of arm strength and control, like Serena Williams. For Ginny, who plays wizard hockey basically, I look at female hockey players like Marie-Phillip Poulin and Brianne Jenner. For Lin, who fights with her body, I turn to boxers like Lalia Ali.
TLDR: if your tired of glamour muscles, try to think about what muscles would realistically be the strongest on your character and what they use them for and refine your searches to that! if you don’t know exactly what to look for, start from a catalog of female Olympians and go from there!
You know what’s some crazy $hit?
This fabulous bitch

She makes a shit ton of poses (like 16,000 or some crazy nonsense). I used this lovely lady to draw so much as a teen. Whether it was some nerdy pose for my Mary Sue as fuck OCs

or for full on fight sequences

or for tragic deaths of my OCs in the arms of a totally OOC main protagonist.

this bitch hooked me up.
And with the wildest, craziest stuff that you could see in your head but had no way or resources to reasonably draw like

or this

or this

DUDE! INASNE SHIT!! So I was using her for a pose reference and decided, you know what, I owe this bitch some cash. Lemme dole it out for her. BUT then, I looked and saw she only has 286 fucking patrons!! This chick gives out free shit and spends countless hours arranging these shoots and setting this stuff up.
I’ll fork up the cash, SenshiStock. You’re worth it.
