Ever since they revealed this mold with retooled wings, i couldn't help but notice similiarities with X-Wing starfighter from Star Wars. And then inspiration struck me once again. I based him paritially on original SWxTF crossover figure and on Rebel pilot outfit(hence white and orange colored chest). I made his head from Legacy Metalhawk and added some touch ups to make it closely to Skywalker's helmet from Episode IV.
Simple retool to arms would make dream come true. While i'm not a master, i tried to make wings split up in battle formation as much as possible.

What if the R2 units think organics are pets. So everytime R2-D2 meets another R2 unit they ask if Anakin is there pet. Anakin can understand them, but says nothing and he never tells anyone that the R2 units see them as pets.
R2-D2 is trying to find a collar for Anakin and he hates General Grievous because it's like kicking a dog.
Ahsoka has been awaken after Anakin rubs the lamp.
Finding a cat
Anakin was walking home and shivering. He forgot his jacket at home after deciding to go on a quick walk to clear his head.
He was having nightmares again and they were getting worse. He knew his boyfriend Rex was worried, but he didn't want to talk about it.
He didn't know how to explain what he was seeing. It couldn't possibly be real and yet it felt like a memory from another life.
A life where he fought in a war and had a blue blade of light.
He continued walking until he heard a loud meow. He looked around thinking maybe he imagined it except he heard it again.
He felt the rain soak his clothes, but at thT moment he didn't care. Instead he started looking for the cat.
He walked down an alley while listening quietly. He heard the meow again and this time it sounded distressed. His heart twisted and he looked around. He could hear the cat meowing and he looked behind the dumpster.
The car was soaking wet and looked miserable. The little kitten was clearly a stray and he didn't look very happy.
He could see the cat shivering and he gently reached out. The cat tried to swipe his claws, but he dodged. The cat gave him a surprised look before sniffing his hand.
He brushed a hand along the cat and felt it's back curve. He kept petting until slowly the cat starting calming down. It purred and tried to climb into his lap.
He laughed and scooped the kitten up. He was glared at, but once he started moving. The cat looked around curious.
He brought the little kitten home and saw Rex staring at it. He raised an eyebrow at him and he gave his best puppy dog eyes. While holding the wet kitten up.
It seemed to realize what he was doing because it made it's look pathetic and helpless in his arms.
Rex sighed in defeat and he cheered before kissing him and going to warm them both up. He could hear Rex in the kitchen and knew his boyfriend was planning on making hot cocoa.
He smiled and looked down at the cat. He was going to have a safe and warm home here.
The Star Wars Wiki says, “While C-3PO underwent a memory wipe, R2-D2 was allowed to preserve his memories.” And I am delighted, because 1) I was pretty sure this was the case, but couldn’t remember exactly (R2 is a conniving sneak and I was pretty sure it wouldn’t have worked even if anyone had been foolish enough to try), and 2) this means one of my favorite Star Wars headcanons is actually canon.
It means that during that one scene in Empire Strikes Back, these two assholes know EXACTLY who the other one is.
