“Scheme against your most sacred principles in thought, word and deed…. The only clear view is from atop a mountain of your dead selves.”

When we meet somebody whose separate tunnel reality is obviously far different from ours, we are a bit frightened and always disoriented. We tend to think they are mad, or that they are crooks trying to con us in some way, or that they are hoaxers playing a joke. Yet it is neurologically obvious that no two brains have the same genetically programmed hard wiring, the same imprints, the same conditioning, the same learning experiences. We are all living in separate realities.

Bufo Visions 💚🐸 Bufo toad venom is the most potent psychedelic, offering a profound and intense experience that can lead to deeply transformative states of consciousness. Most people see vivid fractal patterns soon as soon as they inhale. But if you're lucky, you might see this goddess. 😘

I feel there's some stuff I need to check out in here...

Think my top 5 albums of the year are probably...

Album cover from Remants of the Vessel, by the band Faetooth. It depicts an archway, with the album title across the top, and a bowl of dried and mouldy fruit in the center, including peaches, apples and grapes.

Remnants of the Vessel, by Faetooth

Cover of the album Call Down the Sun, by the band Konvent. It depicts a monochrome landscape of desert dunes, with a dark sky above.

Cover of the album Violate Consensus Reality, by the band Psychonaut. It depicts a bald man's head facing to the left, though the rear and bottom of the head are blurred and obscured.

Violate Consensus Reality, by Psychonaut

Cover of the album The Saberlight Chronicles, by the band Fellowship. It depicts two figures in the center above what may be an explosion, with rubble or rocks at the edges.

and...

Cover of the album Shunka Ryogen, by Haru Nemuri. The cover depicts the artist standing on a rocky shoreline in twilight, in a long red dress.

Honourable mentions to Cool it Down, by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Myriad by Gaupa, Where's the One? by Congotronics International, making it! by Montaigne, UGLY DEATH NO REDEMPTION ANGEL CURSE I LOVE YOU, by Ada Rook, Tlazcaltiliztli by Tzompantli, Rakshak by Bloodywood, and the self-titled albums by Lybica and by Zeal and Ardor.

I tend to come to albums a bit late, so a lot of my listening in 2022 was catching up on albums from the last few years. I have finally listened to Ordalies by Véhémence, which is rad as heck :)
