But Im Here In Your Doorway

The screams of your squadron members bounce around in your head. It was your fault, you knew that. You shouldn’t have set off without checking your ship. Without checking for any trackers. So it wasn’t a surprise when, out of nowhere, a group of TIEs burst out of hyperspace, straight into your fleet like pins being knocked over by 30 flying bowling balls. You had watched, helplessly, as your friends - your family - were picked off one-by-one. As they went up into terrifyingly bright balls of gas and flame and smoke. It was your fault. All your fault.

Part of you was trying to cling onto the notion that you couldn’t have known, how could you have known? But the majority of your mind beat back those thoughts, letting the sickening guilt take over and push you into a dark corner. Debriefing had been a nightmare. General Organa had, of course, told you that it wasn’t your fault, that it was nobody’s fault but the spy she hadn’t discovered in time. She could sense the weight on your shoulders, sense you falling into a pit inside of yourself.

After the meeting, she had pulled you aside.

“Y/N. I need you to look at me,” she said, turning your head gently but firmly with her right hand. “It isn’t your fault. You did everything you could. Sometimes, things are just out of our control.”

“I know,” you lied, just wanting this conversation to be over. Leia could sense your apprehension, and sighed.

“Look, I know that nothing I say is going to change how you feel, because I’ve been there, and I know what you’re thinking. I know it’s hard. Trust me.” you look down at the floor, scuffing the tip of your boot across the dusty ground. “It will get better. I promise you.”

“Thanks, general.”

“How many times do I have to tell you to call me Leia?” she asks lightly as you turn to walk away.

“A few more, apparently,” you respond, the ghost of a false smile resting over your face. With that, you turn on your heel and head to your quarters.

You step through the door as it slides open and sit down on your bed. You reach for your datapad, wanting to distract yourself with something.

You click the screen on, and your heart drops. Staring back at you are the smiling faces of your squadron. You’re all clustered around Mari’s new droid, with hands on its shiny purple head. She had been so happy to get that little guy.

Now they were both nothing more than dust drifting through the empty expanse of space.

You hurl the tablet at the wall, watching as the screen shatters and falls to the floor.

You place your head in your hands, silent sobs racking your body. You clench your hair in your hands, knuckles turning white. You stand up, body shaking, and walk out of your quarters.

You pass Finn in the hallway. He smiles at you, but you can’t bring yourself to do the same. You feel awful as he looks back at you as you pass him, but at this point there’s no use trying to fix it. You trudge outside and up to your x-wing sitting on the tarmac, the edges of the wings blackened from smoke. You glance around, checking the coast is clear, then scurry up the ladder and into the cockpit. You check the time.

1800.

Sighing, you boot up your craft and quickly take off. You cruise over the base a few times, watching everyone go about their day. Like nothing happened. Like 10 of the most beautiful, vibrant souls hadn’t just been snuffed like a match. You swallow the knot in your throat and head for the atmosphere. You need to get away from here.

-

“General Organa!” Leia turns, to see a frenzied runway tech sprinting towards her. “Y/N took off on an unauthorized flight.”

Leia swallows thickly, her heart dropping. “How long ago?”

“We noticed she was left just now - but it looks like she’s been gone about an hour.”

“Then there’s nothing we can do but hope she comes back safely.”

“That’s what I was worried about.”

-

You land on a nearby forest planet, after searching for about ten minutes for a place to touch down. You pick a plateau on the Western side, lowering your land gear as you begin to descend. You hop down from your ship onto the grassy earth, and look around.

It’s quiet up here. There’s a soft wind blowing, and it weaves delicate fingers through your hair and across your face as you take off your helmet. You let it fall to the ground, and decide to walk around for a bit. You make your way to the edge of the plateau, and look out across the forest beyond. It stretches on for miles, a swath of dark green. The last rays of the sun blaze across the sky, painting the clouds with a pink-orange hue.

You glance down, and your heart drops to your toes. It’s a long way to the ground below. You begin to back up, but for some reason you find yourself stopping. You get closer to the edge, still looking down. It would be so easy to just take another step. Just one more. All of this would be over. You wouldn’t have to feel this guilt anymore.

Your knee lifts up slowly.

Realizing what you’re about to do, you scramble back, falling to the dirt. You brace your hands on the ground, digging your fingers into the earth to anchor yourself. Your chest heaves, and your vision spins. The ground seems to buckle, to toss you around. The sky bends and arches above you as you struggle to breathe. You roll over onto your stomach and wrap your arms around your knees.

You don’t know how long you lie there, but by the time you have the courage to stand up and walk again, the moon is floating in the sky above you, and the stars glimmer against a black backdrop.

You climb back into your x-wing and sit there, staring at your dashboard. Your eyes meet one of the few pictures leaned against the fuel gague. You and Poe lean against his x-wing a few months ago. You have your arms wrapped around each other. He’s kissing your cheek, and you’re laughing, open-mouthed, your nose scrunched up and your eyes shut tight.

You take a shuddering breath. Poe. You couldn’t believe what you’d almost done - what you still might do, if you don’t get out of here. You couldn’t leave him like that. You rapidly go through your flight checklist and then take off, headed back to base.

You land on the tarmac around 0200, exhausted and beaten down by your own thoughts. You hop out of your ship, landing on the ground with a thud.

You start walking, not really knowing where your legs are taking you, but you end up at Poe’s quarters. You can hear movement inside the room. You raise a trembling hand and knock once.

He opens the door, and his eyes widen. His mouth moves silently, searching for words.

You swallow thickly, a nervous knot tying in your stomach.

He takes a step toward you, not quite believing what he’s seeing. Leia had told him that you’d left suddenly after their meeting, and he had grown worried that you were hurt, or worse. But here you are, standing in front of him. Your form is limp and you’re drawn into yourself. Your face and neck are caked with blood and dirt, and your eyes are clouded and empty.

“Hi,” you say weakly. He quickly closes the gap between the both of you, wrapping you in a tight embrace. Your arms hang limp beside you.

“Stardust,” he breathes, holding you tightly. “I was so worried.”

Tears prick the corners of your eyes, falling down your face and onto Poe’s shoulder. He pulls back, concerned. Cradling your face in his hands, his eyebrows crease with worry.

He looks down at you, stroking your cheek gently with his thumb. There’s a silent question written across his features. You shake your head tearfully. You don’t know what to say.

“Baby…” he whispers, pulling you close to his chest again. You clutch at the back of his shirt with shaking hands.“I’m here now - you’re safe. You’re ok, you’re ok, you’re ok.” He repeats those two words over and over like a mantra, equally to himself as to you. “Let’s get you inside, ok?” he says, and you nod. Placing a hand on the small of your back, he guides you into his quarters.

“I’ll grab some clothes for you,” he says as you sit down on the edge of the bed. He rustles through his drawers, eventually coming up with a long-sleeved olive green shirt and a pair of grey boxer shorts. He sets them on the bed next to you. “Are you good to take a shower?” You think about it for a minute, and slowly shake your head. The idea of being pounded with thousands of tiny droplets makes you want to hide under a blanket.

“Too much,” you murmur, and he nods in understanding.

“Ok, love, that’s fine. We do need to clean you off and deal with these cuts, though.” he gestures to the lacerations across your skin. You nod weakly. You hear him pad over to the refresher unit and grab a medkit and some washcloths, which he wets under some running water from the sink.

He kneels in front of you, and motions for you to take off your flight suit. You slip it halfway off, letting it rest around your waist. Poe sucked in a breath through his teeth as he saw the bruises blooming across your torso and arms. You’d gotten tossed around pretty bad, getting knocked through space by several of the TIEs. You’d slammed your sternum right into the dashboard at one point, and small fragments of something had slashed open nearly every bit of exposed skin and even some under your suit.

“Y/N…” he says quietly, tearing up. You bite the inside of your cheek, hating to see him so upset.

He gets to work cleaning your cuts. He’s as gentle as he can be, but you still hiss as the cold water on the washcloth cleans out your cuts, and tears start to fall as he bandages up a particularly bad cut on your stomach. He holds your hand the whole time, letting you squeeze his hand as hard as you need to, never even flinching as your vice grip tightens around his fingers.

“Ok, baby, let me check your legs and then you’re all set,” he says, and you turn away, face flushing with nervousness. He’s confused for a second, then has a moment of understanding. He’s never seen you naked - you weren’t ready to get intimate yet, so you guys had been taking it slow, and now really wasn’t the best time to breach that barrier. “You can change into the shorts first,” he says quietly, and you look back at him gratefully.

You make your way to the refresher unit, shutting the door behind you. You peel off your flight suit the rest of the way, followed by your undergarments, crusted with blood from the cuts on your stomach. You pile the discarded clothes in a pile by the shower, and slip on the shirt and shorts Poe had leant you. You take the opportunity to glance into the mirror above the sink, and grimace at the reflection that gazes back at you. Hair messy and tangled, face bruised and covered with small cuts, you were not a pretty sight to behold. Sighing, you head back into the main room.

Sitting back down on the bed, you lean against the wall and stretch your legs out in front of you. Poe sits down on the mattress next to you, surveying your exposed limbs. They aren’t as bad as the upper half of your body, but they definitely aren’t good. He dabs at the cuts gently, taking your hand again. He mutters sweet nothings as you clench your teeth and shut your eyes tightly for the next few minutes as he finishes up.

“All done,” he eventually says, and you relinquish your grip on his hand, wiping the tears from your eyes. He looks up at you, and you almost melt at the love in his eyes. You realize in that moment how lucky you are - that no matter what, he’ll always take care of you. Always.

“Thank you,” you say quietly, and he smiles softly, opening his arms. You crawl over to where he’s leaned against the headboard and collapse into his embrace, breathing beginning to even out.

“You need sleep, baby,” he says, and you nod. “You can stay here, if you want.” You nod again, and he presses a kiss to your hair. “I’ll grab some extra blankets from the closet.” He gets up and goes to retrieve them. You get under his comforter and lay your head down on one of the pillows. Your eyes drift closed.

Poe pads back over to the bed and pauses, looking down at you. He swallows thickly, tearing up. He makes a promise to himself then and there that he’d never lose you like that. Never again.

He lays another blanket over you, then switches off the lights. He quickly changes into some sleep clothes and then gets under the covers, laying down facing you.

“Poe?” you mumble, searching for his face in the dark.

“Right here, honey,” he says softly, and you inch closer to him, a bit nervous to get too close. He senses your unease and smiles softly. “Cmere,” he says, draping a hand over your waist and pulling you close to him. You tuck your head against his chest, a warm feeling creeping into your very core. Being this close to him is grounding. You take a deep breath in. The scent of the lavender soap he uses clings to his skin, and it washes over you. You listen to his breathing, feel the rise and fall of his chest.

“I love you,” you breathe, eyes widening as you realize what you just said. The two of you haven’t exactly said it before. You feel Poe freeze beside you, and your heart drops. You mentally kick yourself. How could you say that right now?

“I love you too,” he says, and you can hear the smile in his voice. You blush furiously as he tilts your head up with his thumb and forefinger. “To the edge of the universe and back.” He presses his lips to yours, feather soft.

“I love you,” you say again, just because you can. He smiles softly.

“I’m proud of you, I want you to know that,” he says after a while. “For...getting through all this. I know it hurts, and it’ll stay that way for a bit, but…” he pauses, taking your hand in his. “But I’ll always be here if you need me. To talk, or just listen. You can lean on me, ok?”

“Ok,” you say quietly, looking up into his eyes.

“Ok,” he whispers.

“Ok.” You smile, and his heart flips at the beauty of it. He pulls you into his chest once more, and you’re out like a light almost instantly. He presses his lips to your forehead before drifting off, holding you tightly in his arms.

Hi Could I Pls Request A Poe X Reader Fic Where He Goes To Visit You In Your Quarters After He Gets Back

You thought you had known what exhaustion felt like before tonight. You were very, very, very wrong. This entire week had been review for the exams coming up the next Monday, and tonight, Friday, was the last day you had to study before the weekend. You’d spent countless hours poring over texts and holofiles, focusing on your weak spots. You sipped at your mug of caf, swallowing the last of it with a sigh. The end of this file was nowhere in sight. You sat up straight, wincing at the loud cracks and pops your back emitted at the motion.

I really need to work on my posture, you think. Yawning, you glance at the small clock on your bedside table across the room. The red numbers read out 0100. You’ve been working for a while. Sighing, you prop your head on your hand and stare blankly at the wall. Your vision becomes unfocused, and you snap your head up. Nope. No sleeping until you’ve finished this chapter. Shaking your head slightly, you dive back into the file you were reading about blood cell structure. You can feel your eyelids getting heavy and yawn. Before you can say nerf herder, you’re out cold, head resting on your arms.

Poe makes his way down the hall to your room, excitement brimming in his chest. That mission had gone so well - he and Finn had gotten so much intel from the small mining town they’d visited in an outer rim system. Leia had been very pleased and given him and his friend the weekend off. He was ecstatic, already planning an outing somewhere a bit ways out from base for the two of you.

He arrives at your room and quietly knocks. He frowns when he gets no response, confused. He can see the light on under your door.

“Y/N?” he says quietly. “You there?” Nothing. “I’m coming in, alright?” he says, waiting for ten seconds in case you just hadn’t heard him earlier, before pulling out the spare keypass you’d given him and letting himself in. He glances around, concerned when he sees your empty bed. He walks to the far side of your room and glances to his right.

He chuckles at the sight in front of him. You’re asleep at your desk, face buried in the crook of your elbows. Countless books are littered on the table and across the floor, and there's a file open on your datapad, projecting into the air. Its blue light washes your dozing form in a pale glow. He carefully makes his way over to you, side-stepping wadded-up balls of paper and other study materials you’d discarded over the past few hours.

“Hey, sweetheart, wake up,” he says softly, gently running a hand over your arm. Your head rises slowly, and he watches as your eyelids flutter open. You smile when you see him.

“Poe,” you say, voice raspy. He grins, chuckling quietly.

“How long have you been studying, baby?” he asks. You grumble something about exams and not understanding something, before yawning quietly.

“‘Dunno.”

“Let’s get you to bed, ok?” he says, but you shake your head.

“I wanna hear about your day,” you say, and he smiles softly.

“The mission went well,” he says, and you smile sleepily. “I got this weekend off, I was thinking we could do something tomorrow? Maybe a picnic?”

“Ooooo, yeah,” you say, your words stumbling over each other. He laughs.

“You really need to get some rest, babe.” You groan.

“Fine,” you say, yawning. He offers you his hands, helping you stand up from your desk and guiding you over to your bed. He plants a kiss on your forehead, cradling your head in his hands. You melt into the touch, protesting when he pulls away. He laughs as you hold out your arms, opening and closing your hands. He wraps his arms around you, and you let out a quiet, contented noise. You lean into his shoulder, savoring the warmth coming from him.

“Y/N. Bed.”

“You’re so mean,” you say as you crawl under the covers.

“Yup, that’s me. Big bad Poe. So very mean.” you laugh, and he grins. “I’ll see you tomorrow, sweetheart. Get some rest.” Your eyes close slowly, and he smiles as your breathing evens out and your face relaxes. With one last glance back at you, he flips off the light and heads to his room, shutting the door behind him.

Please Don't Say You Love Me

GIF from thestarwarsdaily

“Oh, come on, it’s not that bad,” you say, laughing.

“No, it’s absolutely awful,” Poe says, chuckling as he tosses a grape into the air and catches it in his mouth. The two of you were discussing a drawing BB-8 had somehow sketched out with his little stylus of the three of you. “Look, I love the little guy to death, but I looked like Chewie.” You laugh loudly, tilting your head back. Poe’s heart skips a beat. He grins as he watches pure joy blossom on your face. You glance back at him, propping your head on the heel of your hand.

“Oh!” you say, sitting up quickly and twisting around. “I just remembered.” Your boyfriend raises an eyebrow as you reach into your bag behind you and pull out a small, paper-wrapped parcel. You bite your lip as you hand it to him, watching excitedly as he tears through the brown packaging.

“Oh. My. Gods,” he says quietly, surveying the small book. “You found it?”

“Sorta,” you say, grinning. “Technically, Finn found it. He was on that supply run last week and saw it - he remembered me talking about wanting to get it for you and bought it.” The volume was filled with old Yavini fairytales - ones Poe would murmur to you when you couldn’t sleep. You’d asked him where he’d learned them, and he’d told you about a (much older) copy of this book that Shara would read to him when he was younger. Ever since that night, it had been your mission to find it.

“You are…” he trails off, flipping through the delicate pages. “Amazing.” You blush as he looks up at you and takes your hand in his. You lean towards him, and he meets you halfway, pressing a soft kiss to your lips. Your eyes meet as you break away, and a soft blush creeps into your cheeks as he looks at you with pure adoration. “I love you,” he says.

Your stomach drops, smile faltering.

“Oh-” you look down, panicked, and feel Poe tense.

“What?”

“Nothing, I just…” you trail off, not knowing what to say. Certainly not the words that just tumbled from Poe’s mouth - you don’t know how long it’s been since you said that. Since you’d had a reason to say it. “I can’t...I don’t…” Poe’s jaw clenches.

“Oh, I see,” he says. You can hear the hurt in his words, and it sends a jolt of guilt shooting through your chest.

“No, Poe, it’s not-”

“Forget it,” he says, standing up and walking away. Your resolve crumbles as his rigid form grows farther and farther from you, and hot tears spill from your eyes and trace down the bridge of your nose and the apples of your cheeks, falling onto the grass below you.

Please Don't Say You Love Me

“I just don’t get it,” Poe says, frustratedly rubbing his eyes with his left hand. Rey listens from where she sits at her desk. “We’ve been together for...gods, for nearly a year now, and…” he trails off, throat closing up. His friend glances up from the HoloFile she’s been reviewing, tilting her head slightly.

“And what?”

“They acted like I stuck them with a hot poker,” he murmurs. “Do they want to break up? Did I do something? I just don’t understand.” Rey sighs, closing her datapad and making her way across the room to stand in front of him.

“You know what happened with their last relationship, right?” she says quietly, and his head snaps up. She waves a hand dismissively. “Not like that,” she reassures, and the pilot relaxes. “They just...it was hard on them. You need to give them time.” Poe’s face falls. He had been awful to you. He didn’t even give you a chance to explain, just...walked away. He sighs, upset with himself.

“Thanks, Rey,” he says, headed for the door.

“Anytime,” the brunette says, returning to her work.

Please Don't Say You Love Me

Poe sees you sitting under the big tree by the pond once he makes his way outside, and walks over.

“Hey…” he says softly, and your head whips up. His chest grows tight as the slight shine on your face becomes evident. You’d been crying. And it was his fault. “Look, I’m sorry, baby, I-”

“No, Poe, I’m sorry, it's just-”

“You don’t have to explain, stardust,” he murmurs, sitting down next to you. He takes one of your hands in his. “It’s okay, really. I shouldn’t have reacted like that, I think I just got caught up in the moment, and, well…” he motions vaguely. You nod, leaning your head on his shoulder.

“It’s just hard for me to say,” you murmur as he rests his head on top of yours. “It doesn’t mean that I don’t, it’s just - it’s hard.” You feel him nod in understanding.

“That’s okay, sweetheart. Is it...is it alright if I say it?” he asks hesitantly, and you smile.

“Yeah,” you say, lifting your head to look into his eyes. A mischievous grin breaks across your face. “Any chance for me to be told how great I am is warmly welcomed.” He rolls his eyes, playfully jabbing you in the side. You cackle, shoving him lightly.

“Well then,” Poe says, smiling at you warmly. “Y/N L/N, I love you.” You blush furiously, burying your face in his shoulder. He grins, pressing a kiss to your hair. He wraps his arms around you and smiles. “Very, very much.”

Hi Babe Could I Please Request A Drabble About Poe Seeing Reader With Her Hair Down For The First Time

You shiver as you make your way outside, your breath crystalizing in the air. The tips of your exposed ears turn red with the cold. Rey sneezes. She, like you, is from a desert planet - any form of cold makes you both miserable. A chill wind scrapes along the back of your neck as you trudge through too many inches of snow alongside Rey, Finn, and Poe. Poe, similarly to you and Rey, was from a warmer planet, but he’d been on base long enough to get accustomed to the freezing winters. He chuckles as a constant stream of complaints pours from your mouth.

“My ears are freezing,” you groan, and Rey nods her agreement. Finn rolls his eyes, shaking his hooded head.

“That’s because your hair’s up,” he laughs. “You, like, never take it down. Might wanna change that.”

“I guess you’re right,” you say, laughing softly as you lift your hands to the crown of your head and work on undoing the bun sitting atop it. You shake your head, massaging your scalp with your pinkened fingertips as your hair falls down around your shoulders. It cloaks your ears and neck from the brittle winds and subzero temperatures. You sigh with relief, and Finn shakes his head, clapping you on the shoulder as he jogs to catch up with Rey at the front of your procession.

“Hey, Y/N?” Poe says, nose buried in his datapad. You turn your head towards him. He glances up and promptly freezes. “Uh, I-” You raise a brow, confused.

“What?” you say, glancing behind you.

“Nothing, nothing,” he says a bit too quickly. You could’ve sworn his cheeks were bright red. From the cold, obviously. Obviously. “Could you check this over? You’re much better with this stuff than I am.” He gestures at his datapad, and you walk over, leaning down a bit to get a closer look at the document he’s drafting. Your eyes skim over the paragraphs, and he uses the opportunity to take you in.

You look...different. Good different, of course. Really, really good. Beautiful.

“Looks good overall,” you say, nodding. You point with your little finger to the third sentence of the first paragraph. “I’d switch that wording up a bit, it seems a little too formal.”

“Thanks,” he says, and you smile warmly at him. His heart threatens to explode right out of his chest.

“No problem!” you say cheerfully, and run to catch up with Finn and Rey by the Falcon. He follows suit, trekking faster through the fine white powder littering the ground. He pauses just outside the on-ramp. Finn notices and makes his way over, concerned.

“Hey, you alright?” he asks, and Poe’s head snaps up.

“Yeah, I just- I just got a bit flustered.”

“What do you mean?”

“Nothing, forget about it.” He bites his bottom lip, following his friend back into the ship.

Gods.

Never Have I Ever

Pairing: Poe Dameron x Reader

Word count: 2k

Warnings: none besides Rose and Finn being conspiratorial little shits

Summary: You've always been too nervous to tell Poe how you feel. A night out after the end of the war may change that.

Never Have I Ever

It feels surreal, to put it simply. It’s over. It’s finally over. For years, you’ve known nothing but chaos and panic and uncertainty. But now, you can leave all of it in the past. Palpatine’s gone. The war’s over.

Leaping from your x-wing, you spot Poe across the tarmac. He locks eyes with you, breaking into a huge, beaming grin. You sprint towards him, sporting an equally bright expression. He holds out his arms, and you leap into them. He spins around as you bury your face in his neck, laughing. He sets you down, placing his hands on your upper arms.

“We did it,” he breathes, and you nod in disbelief.

“We did it,” you repeat, still smiling. You’re about to compliment a particular barrel roll he’d pulled off earlier when Finn comes barreling over, wrapping him in a bear hug. You smile, walking away to grab some water and allow Poe some time with his friend.

Never Have I Ever

He watches your retreating form with a faint smile, content with the universe for the first time in years. Finn looks at him with a knowing expression and nudges him with his elbow. Poe snaps his head around, cheeks flushed.

“You should tell her,” he says, and Poe’s eyes widen.

“No way,” he replies, carding a hand through his hair. “What if I fuck everything up?” Finn rolls his eyes.

“Poe, I love you, but you’re the most oblivious man I’ve ever met.” This earns him a shocked expression from the older man, and he laughs. “Trust me. Just tell her.” Poe opens his mouth to object, but loses what he was going to say as Rey walks up and wraps him and Finn in a hug.

Never Have I Ever

You watch as the three embrace, smiling. You’re so proud of Poe your chest could burst. He’d handled that last battle with the grace and strategy you’ve seen in him time and time again. You hear footsteps headed your way and glance up, to find Rose standing next to you.

“Hey,” she says quietly, and you scooch to the left a bit to give her space to sit, patting the bench next to you. “It’s crazy, huh?”

“Yeah,” is all you can manage, but you can tell that she understands the magnitude of emotions contained in your reply. No words could encapsulate the feeling of joy and relief flowing through you.

“I heard Poe did some pretty amazing flying out there.”

You grin, nodding. “He really did. Per the usual, of course.” Smiling, she takes in the look of admiration on your face.

“You like him.” Not a question, just a statement. An observation. You look at her slowly and nod.

“I do,” you say, taking a sip of water from the canteen in your hand.

“He likes you, I think. From what Finn’s told me.” You splutter, choking on your drink.

“What?” you exclaim, face turning red as a tomato as you cough. She laughs loudly, and you shoot her a death glare. “If you’re pulling my leg I swear-”

“I’m not, I promise.”

Narrowing your eyes, you swallow another mouthful of water. “What exactly has Finn told you?”

“He’s caught Poe staring at you too many times to count, that damn idiot never shuts up about you, and once Rey saw him fiddling with his mom’s ring behind his back while talking to you,” she lists, ticking off the instances on her fingers.

“That doesn’t mean he likes me,” you point out, and Rose sighs. Ignoring her, you continue. “He could’ve just been spacing out, we’re friends, so he’s bound to talk about me, and he just has a thing about not being able to sit still. Those are just...normal Poe things.”

“What are?”

You whip your head around, to see him standing right behind you. Of course.

“Nothing,” you reply calmly, glowering at Rose as she tries to contain her laughter. “Just talking about that maneuver you did earlier. Very impressive.” He grins, clapping you on the shoulder.

“Thanks,” he laughs. “Anyways, we’re headed out to celebrate-” he gestures to Finn, Rey, and his squadron. “-would you guys wanna come?”

Rose nods excitedly, and you do the same. “Sounds awesome.”

Never Have I Ever

The music in the bar pounds in your ears. Normally, you hate crowded, public settings like this - they stress you out. However, you decide to make a special exception for tonight. After all, you just saved the fucking galaxy.

Poe, expectedly, makes a beeline for the bar with Jess. They order several rounds of shots and bring the drinks back to the table the rest of you are sitting at. He slides into his spot next to you, his thigh brushing against yours.

“Ok,” he says loudly, so your group can hear him over the clamor of the establishment. “Never have I ever - pretty simple,” he adds when Rey shoots him a look of confusion. “We’ll go around the table. Someone will say something. If you’ve done what they say, you take a shot. Snap, you go first.”

“Ok, uh, never have I ever gone on a supply run hungover,” he replies, grinning. Poe groans, taking a shot. You gasp as Finn does, too.

“No!” you say, aghast.

“It was one time!” he shouts in defense of himself, and Rey chuckles.

“He threw up within the hour,” Rose says, and you snicker. Finn kicks the mechanic under the table.

“Alright, settle down,” Jess says, clearing her throat. She shoots a pointed glance at Karé. “Never have I ever flirted with a superior officer to get a different assignment.” The woman sighs, pouring liquor into her mouth. Blushing, you do the same. Poe gapes at you.

“You’re kidding me.”

“It wasn’t here,” you admit. “Navy stuff.” Snap laughs as he recalls the event you’re talking about. “I was about to get assigned janitorial duty for the seventh week in a row, so I insinuated some very...” you pause, grinning. “inappropriate things to my commander. He put me on guard duty on the bridge instead.”

A strange feeling flares in Poe’s chest as you and the others laugh about how flustered the officer had gotten, and his knuckles turn white as he clenches the table. You discreetly nudge his leg with your knee.

“You okay?” you ask quietly, and any jealousy he’s feeling melts away as he takes in the concern in your eyes.

“Yeah,” he nods. You smile.

“Cool.”

“Okay, okay,” Karé laughs, shooting a death glare at Jess. “Rose. Your turn.” She smiles conspiratorily at Finn, who nods at her, before glancing at you briefly. You send a befuddled look towards Rey, who simply shakes her head, shrugging.

You have a bad feeling about this.

“Never have I ever…” she trails off, scratching her chin animatedly. “Had a crush on a close friend.”

Your stomach drops. Rose giggles as she feels you tense up beside her.

“Fuck you,” you say, throwing back a shot. A barrage of gasps sounds from your friends. “Oh, grow up,” you laugh, and Finn chuckles. You glare at him, and he raises his hands in surrender. Slowly, Poe leans forward, grabs a shot, and knocks it back. You barely constrain your shock.

“Oh my gods WHO?” Karé squeals, clapping her hands together.

“That’s not part of the game,” Poe quips, offering her a smug expression. She turns hopefully to you, and you laugh.

“No way,” you say, shaking your head. She sticks her bottom lip out in a pout, before letting her mouth fall open.

“Is it someone here?” she asks breathlessly. You clear your throat, face heating.

“I’m gonna go get some fresh air,” you murmur, slipping out of the booth. Karé and Jess boo loudly at your excuse, but you just flip them off as you head outside.

Never Have I Ever

A light breeze tangles its fingers in your hair and tugs at your shirt, small ripples moving along the fabric. You take a seat on a nearby bench, bringing your legs up and crossing them over each other. Fiddling with a loose thread on your sleeve, you glance upwards. The sky above is littered with small pinpricks of light, twinkling back at you.

A creaking noise sounds to your right, and you look back, to see the door to the bar open. You watch as Poe walks through it, puffing his top lip out and shoving his hands in his pockets. He glances in your direction. You offer him a small wave, which he returns, making his way over to where you sit.

“May I?” he asks, and you nod, turning your gaze upwards once more. He does the same, laying an arm across the back of the bench.

“I wonder how many of those we’ve flown by,” he wonders aloud, motioning to the countless stars and planets above you.

“Probably lots. We really went all over, huh?” He smiles, nodding. You stand, walking to the gate in front of the bar and leaning on it. Poe follows suit, bracing his forearms behind him as he leans back.

“Look, it’s stupid of me to ask, and you don’t have to answer, but...who was it?” You turn your head toward him, puzzled. He nods to the bar. “The game. That last question.” You scoot closer to him, leaning your head on his shoulder. The familiar gesture makes him smile.

“Eh, you don’t wanna know,” you say, and he chuckles.

“Oh, but I do.” You laugh. There’s a moment of silence (not uncomfortable - it never is with Poe) as you figure out how to word your next statement.

“It’s a bit complicated,” you admit, and he turns his head to look down at you.

“Oh?”

“I really like this person, but I also love how close I am with them right now. I’m worried that if they know, that…” you trail off, worried that voicing your concerns will bring them to fruition.

“That everything will change,” Poe finishes quietly. You swallow nervously. “That you could lose them, and you don’t know-” he takes a deep breath “-you don’t know what you would do if that happened.” You turn to face him as he leans up to stand straight, heart pounding in your chest so loud you swear he can hear it. His eyes flit down to your lips momentarily, and your breath hitches.

“Poe,” you say, barely above a whisper. His eyes lock onto yours, and you bite the inside of your cheek.

You open your mouth to continue, but your words die in your throat as he takes your face in his hands. Your whole body goes rigid, and he notices, starting to pull away. Panicking, you place your hands over his, silently reassuring him that it’s ok. He smiles softly, and your cheeks warm.

“Can I kiss you?” he murmurs, and you nod, heart racing. He brings his mouth down to yours tentatively, nose brushing against yours. You smile against his lips, bringing a hand up and burying it in his curls. He fits his hands to your waist, thumb gently brushing over your side. His lips taste like the tequila you’d both taken shots of in the bar, and it’s sweet on your tongue, reminding you of the nectar from the sapflowers back home on Naboo.

The two of you break apart, hot breaths mingling in the small space between you.

“You have no idea,” he murmurs, smile as bright as a thousand suns, “how long I’ve wanted to do that.” His grin widens as you grow flustered, mouth twisting into a small smile.

“I’m sorry I didn’t tell you sooner,” you say, eyebrows furrowing together. “I didn’t want to mess everything up, and there just wasn’t a good-”

“Hey,” he says gently, taking your hand. “It’s ok, you have nothing to be sorry for.” You smile.

“I really like you,” you say, and he laughs warmly, bringing a hand to your cheek.

“I really like you, too,” he responds, and you lean into the touch. “We should probably head back in, or they’re gonna think we abandoned ship.”

“Sounds like a plan,” you say.

Nobody says anything if they notice how you and Poe hold hands for the rest of the night, sitting closer than you usually do, talking only to each other.

It seems natural, if anything. Like it’s always been that way. Like it’s how it should be.

Headcanons: Hugs w/ Poe

Warnings: none

i may or may not have written this bc i had a dream i hugged poe last night and it made me cry

ok first off he's fucking jacked

so his hugs are suffocating but in the best way possible

if he's wearing his flight suit it'll puff up around you and create this mini cocoon of coziness and warmth and you feel so safe

one of his favorite things to do is sneak up behind you and wrap his arms around you

it's caused a couple accidents - one time you got so startled you stumbled back and stomped on his foot

he didn't mind

the best part of your day is coming home to your quarters and collapsing into his arms, especially if it's been a rough day

speaking of rough days, he can always tell if you need a break from the hectic bustling of base - if you need to take a step back and just recharge

he'll pull you aside into some hallway or closet and tuck you into his chest until you feel better

you'd never tell him, but the sound of his heartbeat as you rest against him is your favorite sound in the whole world

he discovered a while ago that if he gets you to sit down next to him, wraps an arm around you, and strokes the bridge of your nose with his pinky, you'll go out like a light

it becomes useful later in the war when you won't let yourself sleep ("why would I be sleeping when I could be doing something? helping people?" "you need sleep to function.")

another thing he loves doing is resting his chin on the top of your head and pressing kisses to your hair if you need help calming down

he uses that one a lot during missions, especially as they get more and more intense

physical touch is something that helps ground the both of you, and he loves that he can just shower you with love and affection almost anytime (almost = when you're not holding hot coffee - he's not going to make that mistake again.)

Consequences of Anger-Spurred Outbursts

Pairing: Poe Dameron x Fem!Solo*!Reader

*(mainly bc i just wanted reader to be leia's daughter for comedic reasons, it's an easy bit to ignore if you'd like to do so)

Summary: After learning some information about one of your pilots, you go a little haywire. Poe is both impressed and a little shocked.

Word Count: 1700 ish

Warnings: dumbass men, punching, minor injuries

Consequences Of Anger-Spurred Outbursts

You were just about up to your neck in reasons to hurl the nearest wrench across the hangar. The mission had gone well, but what it going well entailed was driving you up the wall. You and Poe had been sent by Leia to meet General Calrissian about some troubling information he’d picked up in some backwater bar on Ryloth. Apparently, one of the Resistance’s pilots was dirty - selling out intel about Rebel tech to the First Order in exchange for credits. Even worse, Lando’s information had confirmed one of your deepest, most buried worries. That it was someone in your squadron.

You’d tried to remain impartial to the pilots under your command in the long extent you’d been on base, but Dext Stamat had always struck you as a little off. Rude, toeing the line of insubordination on multiple occasions, and always asking too many questions. Of course, curiosity and ambition among your pilots was usually a good thing. It meant that they were engaged, interested in the cause, and you always loved sharing the knowledge you’d picked up as you've traveled across the galaxy. However, Stamat had strange habits of asking for details about upcoming missions that even you didn’t know yet. It had unnerved you from the beginning of his stint in your squadron, especially as his questions began to coincide with mishaps, even smaller ones, that began to throw off missions of larger and larger scales.

And now, you knew why. That dirty, dirty pig.

You were going to skin him alive.

“Just wait 'til I get my hands on that piece of shit,” you snarl as Poe attempts to discreetly wrestle you away from the hustle and bustle of the main hangar to the tarmac outside. It’s best if this conversation goes unheard.

“I know you want to, and for a good reason, but you can’t. Leia- General Organa needs him alive. If he’s been communicating with the First Order, that means he knows how they’re operating, to a certain extent. He’s valuable to her. To us.” You sigh, letting the frustrated noise signal your reluctant agreement. He’s right, after all; Dext is a dirtbag, but he’s a dirtbag that could get you some leads. You take a deep breath, starting to feel yourself cool off.

“Hey, did you see me out there? I bet Dameron couldn’t do that.”

You furrow your brows, turning your head to find the source of your confusion.

Poe’s grip on your hands tightens as Dex and his pack of buddies (more like lower-level fighters that follow him around out of pure fear) enter the hangar. He’s boasting about a recent flight, of course. When is he not? Your blood boils in your veins, a roaring sound creeping into your ears as he rambles on and on about how he’d executed a double loop. It’s pretty basic, jackass. My mom could fly better than you.

You can feel your cheeks start to heat. Poe notices, and wisely lets you go. It’s best if he lets you handle this on your own. You wouldn’t do anything brash, would you? No, he decides. You wouldn’t do anything.

He watches as you casually stroll past the group of men, leaning on a nearby fighter and picking at your nails with a spare screwdriver you’d found on your way over. From your spot closer to the pilot, you can hear every word tumbling carelessly out of his mouth.

“Yeah, I just punched it. Let ‘em eat my space dust, if you know what I mean.” He tilts his head back, guffawing at his own joke. The group around him quickly lets out a round of polite laughs, nervously glancing back and forth between Stamat and each other. “I straight-up smoked them, I tell you. I’d like to see Pretty Boy Poe pull that one off.” No longer able to contain yourself, you clear your throat, relishing the momentary look of bewilderment on Dext’s overexaggerated features. It doesn’t last long, unfortunately. His beady eyes quickly harden, lips tilting into a smirk.

“Hey, Solo.”

“That’s Commander Solo to you, Dex.” Using his nickname’s a low blow, you know that, but you just can’t put up with his bullshit anymore. Especially not after being told of what he’s been doing - what he’s cost you. Who he’s cost you. His jaw sets into a sharp line, and he lets out a low, raw noise that almost sounds like a growl.

“Oh, is that so, Commander?” he says mockingly, and you sigh, not meeting his eyeline as you return your attention to your gritty nails. Damn flight gloves - you should probably clean them more often. You smile inwardly as he grumbles with annoyance.

“You know, Stamat, I’d be more careful about how you treat superior officers,” you say lightly, tilting your head to meet his gaze. He sneers down at you, momentarily glancing back. You follow his sightline, to see Poe standing against a far wall.

“Why?” he whines comically, toying with you. “Or you’ll report me to your boyfriend?” You glare at him, and he just offers you his pathetic attempt at a simpering smile. “You look pretty worn out, Commander. Have you two been busy lately?” he asks, snickering. The roaring sound in your ears gets a little louder. It mingles with the sound of boots against concrete as Poe makes his way over. He’d heard that last comment.

“You heard her, Stamat. Watch it,” he warns. You cringe inwardly. Poe, why? Just let me deal with him. Please. Dext just ignores him, the only indication he’s aware of his presence being an offhand glance over his head.

“Aw, do you need him to come fight your battles for you?” he asks, chuckling. “How cute. You know, if this short stack of griddle cakes isn’t doing it for you, my quarters are always unlocked.”

“Are you fucking kidding me right now?” you say, taking a step forward. Poe grins as Stamat stumbles back.

That’s my girl.

“Oh, yeah, trust me, I can give you so much more than flyboy over here,” he sneers. He opens his mouth to spew some more infuriating bantha fodder, but the only sound that exits his mouth is a high-pitched yelp as your fist soars upwards and connects with his jaw. His heavy form collapses to the tarmac, and his eyes shudder closed. Poe freezes, turning to face you.

“Y/N!”

“WHAT?”

“You punched him!”

“Eh,” is all you say, before picking Stamat up by the arms and dragging him inside. Poe watches you exit the hangar, not knowing if he should worry about how mad Leia’s going to be or marvel at how strong you are.

After a few moments, he snaps out his trance and jogs into the building, following the trail of confused, concerned stares you’d left in your wake all the way up to the General’s small office in the middle of the base. He catches up to you just outside the door. You seem unfazed as you tote Dex’s rather large body around, and he just watches, in awe, as you drag him into the office.

Of all the things General Leia Organa thought she’d see today, Poe Dameron leaning in her doorway while her fuming daughter drags in the limp body of a pilot to her was not one of them. Still, it wasn’t totally out of left quadrant, so she just sighs, sits down on her small couch, and says: “You have five minutes.”

To her shock, one of the usual rambling verbal essays she can often predict when talking with Commander Dameron doesn’t come. You just stretch your fingers and approach her, boots thudding softly against the floor.

“General Calrissian told us that this one here-” you pause to jerk your thumb downwards to the unconscious pilot who is now drooling on her carpet. “-has been selling us out. Giving details to the First Order about our new ships and weaponry. I’ve had a bad feeling about him for months, and now I know why. Do with that what you will. I’m gonna take tomorrow off. I injured my hand.” And with that, you walk out of her office, rubbing your knuckles. Poe stares after you, and the General waves a hand, dismissing him. He offers her an apologetic smile, then dashes out of the room.

He falls into step beside you, shooting a glance in your direction. His eyebrows shoot skyward as he surveys the poorly restrained satisfaction written on your face. For fuck's sake, you're grinning.

“Why in gods’ name are you smiling right now?” he asks, and you chuckle.

“I’ve always wanted to do that.” He pauses, staring at you. Your stomach drops. He looks offended. A muddled apology begins to tumble from your lips, but your words halt on your tongue as he bursts into laughter, takes your face in his hands, and presses his lips to yours.

“I love you so much,” he murmurs, and you turn away, face warming. Smirking, Poe brushes a few stray hairs from your face. He finds it incredibly satisfying that you can knock a 6’4 dude out cold, yet he can still fluster you in the blink of an eye. He goes to take your hand, but you pull away, hissing.

“I wasn’t kidding when I said I hurt my hand,” you say, and he blanches, concerned. “Don’t worry, just a little bruising.” He relaxes visibly, and you grab the corner of his jacket. He swings around to face you. “However, I think it is mandatory that you come watch a HoloVid with me and eat a slightly unhealthy amount of popcorn.”

“You just learned we’ve been sold out to the First Order and all you can think about is a sleepover?” he asks incredulously, not admitting he'd been on the verge of proposing the exact same plan.

“We’ve got a couple of days before we can do anything about it,” you say, and Poe narrows his eyes at you. He knows you’re right, of course. Grinning, you fix your eyes to his, pouting out your bottom lip slightly. Godsdamnit, you’re adorable when you do that, he thinks, finally conceding with a nod and an exaggerated eye roll. “Yessss,” you cheer through your teeth, pumping a fist in the air.

Poe chuckles, wrapping an arm around you and pressing a kiss to your hair. All things considered, this was shaping up to be a relatively decent afternoon.

Before You Leave

Pairing: Poe Dameron x Reader

Prompt: "unrequited love, in which i just poured my heart out to you, telling you i love you and you said that you don’t feel the same way, and then you leave, and i’m standing here, not sure what to do, i can’t even cry that’s how shocked and heartbroken i am"

Word Count: 812

Warnings: i cried while writing this so take that as you will

a/n: it's 5 am and i refuse to beta read this so it could be hot trash we'll see

Before You Leave

You weave your way through the massive crowd bustling through the hangar to your friends, sidestepping BB-8 as you approach Poe.

“Hey, can we talk?” you ask, gently placing your hand on his forearm. “Before you leave?”

“Yeah, of course,” he says, following you out of the expansive space, through a few passageways, and into your quarters. The two of you dodge frantic runway techs and pilots on your way - the main hallway is rather busy, people running back and forth helping to prepare the Falcon. After all, this was the mission. The be-all-end-all.

“I’m not sure what’s going to happen when you leave,” you start as you cross the threshold into your room, picking up a sweater from your bed and pulling it on to have something, anything to do with your hands. He nods, understanding the massive collection of anxious feelings that were most likely trying to find their ways into your mind. He always felt the same way before you left - panic about if you’d return, then the numbness that would set if you were even an hour late returning. “And I just needed to tell you something - to prepare for the worst happening.” Your hands are trembling at this point, and he takes them in his, concerned.

“Is everything ok?” he asks, brows knitting together with concern. You smile tightly at him, nodding.

“Yeah, I just- I’ve been thinking a lot about being honest with people lately - you know, what with the large probability that we could, well, die soon,” you say, clearing your throat nervously, and he nods. “And there’s something that I haven’t been very honest with you about.” Your heart races, thumping against your ribcage so hard you swear he can hear it. If someone had given you a cup of water to hold right now, it would be sloshing all over the floor. “I love you,” you blurt out, not knowing how else to say it other than quickly, without allowing any chance for interruption. You glance up at him, relief bursting in your chest as he smiles.

“I love you too, Y/N,” he says warmly. “You mean so much to me. So much.” You smile, thanking every god you can think of. “But you tell me that all the time - was there something else?” he asks, confused.

You kick yourself inwardly. Of course.

“No, I know that we say that a lot, like we care about each other, but I love you, Poe. I’m in love with you.” Knowing that if you stop now, you’ll probably never speak again, you continue on, hands still shaking like a leaf. “I love how passionate you are about flying, and how you always check on me if you know that I’ve had a bad day, and I love the way you always wake me up early to watch the sunrise with you, and I just didn’t want to let you leave without telling you. Because I feel like you might feel the same way, and I’m not letting myself lose that. Not now. Not with you.” You look back up at him hopefully, a smile daring to tilt your lips upward.

Your stomach drops as you take in the look of bewilderment on his face.

“Are you sure?” he asks, pulling his hands from yours. You swallow thickly, nodding. “I don’t know what to say, Y/N, I’m sorry, but I just don’t feel the same way. I love you as a friend, but nothing more. I’m sorry.”

“Oh,” you say, face heating with shame. How could you be so stupid? “That’s ok,” you say, tucking your hands to your sides as a knot ties in your stomach. “I’m sorry,” you murmur, looking down at the floor. The shining tile reflects your fallen face back at you. Mockery at its finest.

“It’s fine,” he responds, his harsh tone slapping you across the face and leaving you breathless, a sharp pain taking root in your chest. Motioning to the door, he says, “I need to go.”

“Please comm me as soon as you get somewhere safe,” you call out after him, but you look up to find that he’s already left.

You aren’t sure how long you stand there, but by the time you draw on enough resolve to move from your spot in the middle of your quarters, Poe is long gone, taking any hope of reconciliation with him.

You want the tears to come, but they refuse to surface. It would be easier if you could be mad, find some fiber of your being that resents him now. But you can’t - how could you? Poe was good. Caring, kind, considerate beyond belief. Loyal.

Beautiful.

Shivering, you wrap your sweater tighter around yourself and walk to the door. You can't bear to talk to anyone right now.

As you close your door, you feel another one shut hundreds of parsecs away.

Daisies

Pairing: Poe Dameron x Reader (Hanahaki!au)

Warnings: Blood, Somewhat graphic description of death, probably a shit ton of typos bc it's 3 am and I'm not ab to proofread this

Summary: You're so in love with Poe Dameron it's killing you. Literally.

A/N: this is half vent piece, half i've-wanted-to-write-this-for-a-while. also i changed how the disease "works" just a little bit for plot purposes.

Daisies

You used to like daisies. That was before you were staring them down every few hours, leaned over the sink, blood dripping from your cracked lips.

You used to like Poe Dameron. That was before he started killing you.

Then again, you guess you still did. That’s why you were in this situation, after all.

At first, you’d ignored the signs of what you’d hoped wasn’t love - swallowed your words, caught the butterflies in a net and tossed them outside.

But it was getting harder and harder to do so.

You didn’t have much longer. You could tell.

Leia could too.

She’d first approached you after you’d run out of a meeting to hurl up seeds and blooms, waiting outside your quarters for you with a painful expression of pity and concern written across her face. You wish she’d erased it and just let you be.

But she wouldn’t - how could she? You were dying, right in front of her, refusing to take the help she offered.

To be fair, the help she was telling you to seek out would ruin you just the same as the thorns scratching at your lungs.

Getting that surgery and forgetting him would suffocate you more than any vines wrapped around your esophagus could.

You couldn’t do it. You knew you should. After all, this whole mess was your fault anyways. Catching feelings for your best friend wasn’t anyone else's fuck up but yours.

But you didn't think you’d be able to live with yourself if you let someone take the flowers out, and with them, any trace of Poe. The real problem is that you wouldn’t technically be living with yourself. Not anymore. You weren’t really yourself without him. That was what terrified you, what ate you up with guilt.

Because you knew he felt the same way.

Well, not the same way. But you knew that he relied on you, leaned on you.

And soon enough, he’d fall over. Because you'd be gone.

It was killing you. In more ways than one.

“Please, Lieutenant, just think about it,” the General pleads with you as the two of you walk to a debriefing meeting.

“I’ve thought about it,” you respond truthfully. You had. Still do. All the time. “I don’t like it.”

You go to enter the conference room, but her firm grip on your upper arm stops you. Hissing in pain, you whirl around, your angry expression fading as you meet her eyes. Were those tears?

“How do you think I like watching you wither away?”

You smile sadly at the irony of the sentence. It quickly fades as you process what she said. You truly hadn’t considered what this must look like to her. She must think you stubborn, too prideful to ask for help. Brash and inconsiderate.

“Don’t do that,” she says, tapping a finger to your forehead. “I don’t, and you know that. But I can’t say I understand why you won’t do it.”

“I just…” you trail off, silencing your thoughts as a group of runway techs pass by. Once they’ve cleared your vicinity, you continue, “It’s the same either way.”

“How so?” She isn’t mocking you. She’s asking, genuinely. Somehow, that’s worse.

“I die either way. Or at least, a part of me does. If I don’t get the surgery, I get more time with him - maybe a few months? It’ll still be me. If I...if I do get it, it won’t be me. Not really. It takes away all memories of him. I’ve known him for too long. I’ll be a completely different person, and the worst part is that I won’t even know.” you pause, eyes growing misty. “And neither will he. He won’t understand why I’m suddenly introducing myself to him like a new acquaintance.”

Leia’s eyes soften in understanding. “I see.” She pauses, taking your hand and covering it with her other one. “Well, I can’t tell you what to do, but-”

“Technically, you can. You outrank me. You outrank everyone.”

“Like you’ve ever really listened to anything I’ve said,” she quips, her words tugging the corners of your mouth upward slightly. “But I think you should reconsider. Or, you know…” she gestures vaguely, and a knot ties itself in your stomach.

“I can’t do that. He’s…” you pinch the bridge of your nose, sighing. “If he outright says he doesn’t, I’ll collapse right there. I can’t let him see that.”

Leia’s heart hurts for you. You shouldn’t be dealing with this. Not as young as you are. Not as bright as your future was.

She doesn’t say anything else, just nods in concession and follows you inside. She notes how Poe hopefully looks at you, and how you purposefully avoid his eyes. The upset on his face is clear as glass.

It happened on a Tuesday.

You’d collapsed in your quarters, drowning as one of the thorns punctured a lung and it filled with blood.

Poe found you.

You wish he hadn’t. It would’ve been easier.

But things never really did go your way, did they?

Hii! Idk If You Have Written That Before (imm Sorry If You Did) But Could I Request A Fic With Poe Where

School is, to put it simply, kicking your ass.

Down a flight of stairs.

Into a brick wall.

You find yourself tonight, like most other nights, holed up in your dorm room. You sit at your desk, a various assortment of papers and textbooks strewn about the space that wasn’t occupied by your open laptop. The sound of the keyboard clicking under your fingers is the only one in your otherwise-silent dorm room. At times like this, when you’re unable to stop yourself from working well into the obscene hours of the morning, you wish you could resist the tendencies you had to perfect every little detail.

It isn’t news to you that doing what you so often do - writing papers until your eyes burn and your fingertips ache - isn’t good for you.

You grab the pen you’ve stowed behind your ear and jot down a few bullet points of information, glancing back and forth between your writing and the book splayed open next to it to make sure you get the details right.

Sighing, you let the pen fall from your fingers. You lean back in your chair, biting the inside of your lip as a wave of anxiety crests and crashes over you. You shouldn’t be worried, realistically. This paper isn’t due until next week. But the rigid schedule you’ve locked yourself into dictates that you need to finish this by tomorrow morning so that you can get a month-early jumpstart on another project, and if you couldn’t do that, then you wouldn’t be able to-

“Y/n? You in there?”

The sound of a voice on the other side of your door pulls you out of your state of panic.

You stretch as you stand, joints groaning in protest as you make your way across the room and open the door to find someone smiling at you from the hallway.

“Poe?” you ask blearily. “What’re you doing here?” You spare a glance down at your watch, eyes widening. “It’s almost two in the morning.” He sighs, shaking his head.

“You know why.”

“I can promise you, I don’t,” you retort, pulling a smirk from his lips.

“How long have you been working on that paper?”

“Not that long…” Your words fade away as you survey the concern on his face. You sigh. “Too long,” you admit, and he smiles sympathetically. “I could turn it in, but I just…It’s not good enough.”

“I read it over this evening after dinner, it was perfect,” he supplies, offering you another smile. You sigh, nodding.

“Thanks.” When you don’t say anything else, opting to pick at your nails instead, Poe steps into your dorm, quietly shutting the door behind him.

You stare at him in confusion as he flops down onto the small couch next to your bed and pulls out his laptop.

“What are you doing?”

“If you’re going to work yourself into a stupor, I’m not going to let you do it alone,” he says simply as you make your way over and sit down next to him.

An emotion you slowly identify as gratitude floods your chest, and you can’t help the tears that prick at the corners of your eyes. Poe looks over at you, face crumpling as he notices. He shuts his laptop and tosses it onto your bed, wasting no time in pulling you into an embrace.

“It’s just so much,” you croak out, throat constricting as you start to cry in earnest. Poe presses a kiss to your hair, tightening his hold on you.

“I know,” he says quietly, lifting a hand to rest on the back of your head, pushing it down into the crook of his neck. “I’m right here with you. You’re not alone, I’m right here.”

You bury your face in the collar of his sweater. You’ve been keeping everything - every bad grade, every sleepless night, every failed attempt - bottled up for the majority of the semester - for months. You knew it was bound to come to a head at some point.

You’re glad Poe’s here when it does.

Poe walked along corridor, straight right to a hangar.

“Are you ready to go, buddy?” He asked looking down at droid that was rolling next to him.

BB-8 emitted so happy, exited beeps.

“I know, I know. I can't wait, too. I hope she will like her gift. Thank you for help by the way.” He said smiling at droid.

Poe got few days off. Truth was that being grounded was the worst thing that could ever happen to him but not this time. This time he had a very special place to visit and there was no option to him to miss the opportunity of going there.

Poe jumped into his X-wing. “I am coming, princess.” He said to himself with voice full of happiness.

After landing, he jumped out from his X-wing and looked around. He was surrounded by hills and fields full of wild flowers and cereals. This planet was beautiful and what the most important, it was safe, it was far away from First Order’s reach.

“Let’s go, buddy. We can’t be late.” He said with smile and headed toward small village, BB-8 was rolling right behind him.

It took them few minutes of walk before they reached their destination, it was a small, wooden hut.

Poe took deep breath and knocked to the door.

After short moment door was opened by a woman. Her expression changer from happiness into irritation as soon as she looked at him. “You and your droid? Here? I hoped that you forgot this year.” She said with a frown.

“It’s nice to see you too. Yes, me and BB-8 couldn’t forget about such a day. So please, at last today try to be polite. Can I come in?” Poe muttered.

Woman nodded and stepped aside letting them in. “Come in... I do this just for her and my sister. She is somewhere outside, playing with others but she should be back soon.”

Poe nodded, putting box on the table. “Listen... I really didn’t come here to fight. I never wanted to fight with you..”

“Just quit it. I hear it every time you are here, it makes me sick. I won’t change my mind, I let you in only because of her.” Woman muttered walking closer to window. “Speaking of all... I can see her.”

Poe immediately smiled and BB-8 started to happily roll around Poe. “Calm down, buddy.” He said and laughed softly.

Droid shivered softly but stopped politely next to Poe’s leg.

Small girl slowly pushed door open. Her dark hair was braided into beautiful long braid with flower crown on top of her head.

“I am back!” Girl said with big smile on her face as she entered home. She expected just one person inside, her gaze immediately went to Poe.

“Hey there.” Poe said and crouched looking at girl.

Girl gasped and quickly ran to him.

He smiled and gladly took her into his arms. Poe hugged girl tightly and picked her up. “Hey, princess. How are you? I missed you so much.”

Girl giggled and nuzzled to him. “You have came, just like you promised. I knew it! Auntie said you won’t come.”

Poe looked at woman a bit annoyed, then kissed girl’s head. “I would never forget about my little star. Never.”

“I knew it. I believed in you. I love you, daddy.” She said quietly.

“I love you too, princess.” Poe whispered. He felt nothing more than happiness. Right now in his arms he was holding the most important person in his whole life. The only person that kept him alive, the only person that reminded him about his past life. The only person that remained after his wife and their happy life...

“You know what? I love to cuddle with you,” Poe said quietly, nuzzling to your shoulder.“You smell so go, you are warm and soft. I wish I could hug you for every minute of my life.”

You smiled and stroked his hair.“I know this. Same goes to you.”

Poe wrapped his arm tighter around your waist, pulling you even closer, then he looked at you.“Do you know that you are beautiful?” He asked.

“I know this. You tell me this every day,” you said, stroking his cheek.

“Still not enough,” Poe sighed and nuzzled to your hair.

“Get to a room you two!” Snap muttered.

“Yea. We are really glad you two get along SO WELL but please, not in de middle of canteen during the dinner. I don’t want to get diabetes,” Jessica added.

You giggled and blushed deeply, patting Poe’s shoulder.“Poe… They are right. This isn’t a right place..”

He lazily moved his head away from your shoulder and nodded. “Well. So let’s go somewhere else!”

He picked you up and walked away with you in his arms.

"Finally." You muttered to yourself as you heard knocking on the door. Poe was supposed to be here half an hour ago to study with you but somehow he was late this time.

You quickly jogged to the door and opened them with a smile on your lips. It was no one else but Poe indeed, but you blinked surprised when you saw a puppy in his arms. "What BB is doing here...?" You asked and looked at your boyfriend.

With a huge grin on his lips, Poe leant towards you to place a little kiss to your cheek. "I didn't know when I'll be back, so I took him with me. I didn't want him to sit in my room alone, you know," he explained clearly, smile never left his face. "So, you're ready? Because I am," he laughed shortly, entering your room and putting corgi down on the floor. "Where we will start? Do you have some plans?"

You giggled when puppy ran to you, you gently pet its head and looked at Poe. "I told you yesterday that I will be ready, and you have to tell me what's your problem," you reminded him as you sat on your bed, puppy immediately joined you. "So? What subject gives great Poe Dameron such a big trouble that he needs his girlfriend to help him?” You asked, looking at him.

"Trigonometry," he said simply, spreading his arms in helplessness. "It's about trigonometry, Y/N."

Young man approched your bed and took a seat next to you. He petted his puppy, sighing. "If you won't help me, I'll fail last exam. And it'll mean I won't get scholarship for next semester," he explained simply.

You blinked even more surprised than moment ago when you saw BB. "Uhm, really? I have seen you during the classes, it didn't look like you have a problem with trigonometry but okay. I am sure you know the best what kind of help you need. I will go get my books."

After a short moment, you returned to him with two thick handbooks. "Okay, this should be an enough help for you. You should be happy that my parents and brother are away, we will have peace and quiet to learn," you summed up, sitting back on your previous place.

Poe took books from you and opened one of them lazily. He read one of the pages for a little while, then looked back at you. "Okay. But please, explain me how shall I be solving this quadratic equation, hmm?" Poe asked.

You picked up a big notebook that you were always using during the classes. "Okay, so come closer and I will try my best to explain you everything, and next time pay more attention during classes, don't goof around with your pals, okay?" You kissed his cheek with a smile. "Okay, let's start."

Then you started to explaining him every little detail in every step of solving the mathematical problem that he should make. You enjoyed this, not only a fact that you were helping him but also the fact that he was so close. His chest pressed against your back and his head on your shoulder made you feel relaxed and calm.

Poe was pretending that he was listening to your words. Truth was, however, that after a short while he started falling asleep. He felt this blackness came over him. Like a blanket, but not a blanket of warmth but a blanket of coldness making Poe shiver slightly. But somehow it's making his eyes felt heavier and heavier. He finally closed his eyes, nuzzling more to your shoulder, his arm wrapped around your waist.

You were deep in your thoughts, explaining him everything. You really wanted to help him, because he was your boyfriend. "... then you need to move this here, and sum this numbers here, and you will get what you need, do you understand?"

You waited for a little but received no answer. "Poe?" You looked on your shoulder with a corner of your eye, and couldn't believe the view. "Poe Dameron, are you serious right now?!" You raised your voice, growling slightly at the young man.

The anger was building in you, how could he be sleeping when you were trying to help him?!

Poe opened his eyes lazily, yawning. "What? Uhm, no, no, I meant yes, sum stuff," he mumbled and kissed your cheek. "To be honest, I know what are you talking about. Truth is," he yawned again and got up, rubbing his temple, "I am good at math. I don't need any help. I've came here because we spend not enough time together lately, and I miss you, Y/N," Poe explained openly.

You looked at him and couldn't believe his words. It was truth that you were focused on your own stuff, you only had some time for each other during breaks between classes but still, this really got onto your nerves.

"Poe, I understand but..." You raised your voice again but suddenly were cut off by darkness.

The whole house went dark. "Oh, for God's sake," you rolled your eyes.

"Lights out again, huh?" Poe giggled. "Do you have candles? We can lit them up."

You let out a deep sigh. "Yes, dad said he fixed this," you muttered and pulled out your phone to turn on the flashlight. "I think that mom put all candles in one of the cabinets in the hallway, we just need to look for them, because I am not sure in which one they're set."

You got up from bed and walked to the door, you opened them and entered the hall.

You started to roam through cabinets as soon as you got to them. "If you find any candles, please, don't touch the black ones. Ben has some freaking seventh sense and he even knows when someone dared to touch his precious stuff." you muttered.

"Your brother is emo, isn't he? Sometimes he reminds me about that young boy, the vocalist of that German band, Tokio Hotel. But fortunately, Ben doesn't wear make-up. Yet... Or am I wrong?" Poe peeked into one of the cabinets and clapped his hands. "Got 'em, Y/N!"

You laughed loudly and shrugged. "Maybe a little bit, it's hard to tell who he truly is. Mom says it's just a phase but it's weird. Makeup... Well. I don't know anything about this.. But once I found my eyeliner in his room. Let's hope it won't get worst."

You kissed his cheek and smiled. "Take them to the living room and I will go to find a lighter and maybe something to eat for BB and us," you said, and then walked to the kitchen.

"Lighter isn't needed, I got one in my pocket, you know that I am into cigarettes," Poe lit three candles, placing them into candlestick, he put it on the counter of your desk. "BB and I would be happy if you would share that delicious turkey your mom has made on Sunday!"

You rolled your eyes and shook your head. "Okay, I will see if we have leftovers," you answered.

After a few minutes, you came back with a two big plates and one smaller. "Here, something for us and something for your little buddy," you said after putting plates on their places.

You sat on the couch next to Poe. "I guess I need to wait until tomorrow. Dad will have to fix the light again, or mom will just call a specialist," you giggled and started to eat.

Poe did too, but he also put little plate on the floor, so BB could have eaten, too. "You ain't mad at me?" He asked.

"To be honest, I am a bit mad. I really thought you are in trouble when it comes to school, I was worried. You could have simply told me that you wanna hang out, you know I would gladly accept it," you looked at him. "It wasn't a nice thing to trick me like this. Don't do this again," you warned him and looked down at the puppy. "It's getting late," you noticed.

"It is, apparently. Was it a slight attempt to get rid of me and BB?" Poe laughed warmly. "Don't worry, we'll head back home soon. You still have to review the material for test."

"I already did that, Poe. You said we don't spend much time together, and it's weekend. You think your dad would be mad if you would stay with me? I am slightly afraid of the darkness, I don't want to be alone and we could spend some time together," you offered softly, looking at him.

"I will call him, soon. Don't worry. I guess he won't have anything against that idea."

~~~~~~~~~~~~
In the darkness your cuddles were feeling like a little touch of heaven, warm, together, cozy.
Poe wished he could extend the night just so he could stay close to you for longer, safe in your embrace.
Your arms were wrapped right around him, bringing a peace he's never known before, a calming of the storms in young man's heart. He knew it's you that was giving him hope for the future. In your embrace, Poe started to believe that there was nothing out there to fear. "I love that little moments when we're together. No one else counts but we. Priceless," Peo hummed lazily into your ear.
You purred quietly and smiled. "I know, sweetie. I am so sorry if you ever thought that I neglect you or something like this," you said and kissed his jawline, then put the head to his chest, listening to his heartbeat.
Poe was a blessing, you couldn't ask for more. He was always there when you needed him, and even when you didn't, and maybe especially then. You were so deeply in love with him.
"I love you, Y/N," Poe whispered into your ear. "Sweetheart, I cannot even begin to tell you how much you mean to me." he added.
His fingers were tangled in your hair as he kissed your temple. "You're my everything."
You hummed quietly at his words. "I love you too, Poe. You are my world," you said before kissing him softly on the lips.
Rest of the evening went rather quickly. You snuggled with Poe under a soft, warm blanket. Soon, both of you fell asleep in each others' arms.
~~~~~~~~~~~~

You woke up next morning to the view of your brother's face right above your own.

"For God's sake, Ben! Do you want me to die on heart attack?!" You growled at him.

"Mom! He is here again! Why is he in my house again?!" Ben yelled, and you in the meantime gently touched Poe's cheek in an attempt to wake him up.

"First of all, it's not only your house. Second, good morning sweetheart, and hi, Poe," Leia said with a kind smile as she stepped into living room.

Poe got up quickly, stretching his shirt. "Morning, ma'am. I am sorry, we've learnt for a long hours, I happened to fall asleep, so Y/N decided to let me stay."

"Hi mom," you muttered and nuzzled to Poe's shoulder.

"I bet you two got laid," Ben said with a smile.

You facepalmed and shook your head. "No, I was helping him with math, it took us long, plus light went off again and I didn't want to sit alone," you grunted, rolling your eyes.

"Oh, that's so sweet of you, Y/N. You see? I told you we should have called professionals," Leia said, turning to Han. He only rolled his eyes.  "Now I will make breakfast for three of you." Your mother added looking back at you.

You smiled and nodded. "Sounds perfect, right sweetie?" You looked at Poe. "Oh, by the way. Good morning," then you kissed his cheek and skipped to the kitchen.

Ben frowned looking at Poe. "I hate you."

"Get used to me better," Poe chuckled slightly. "Maybe one day in the future you'll be my brother-in-law," Dameron wiggled his brow and followed you. "Y/N, wait for me!"

 18 - Intense Disagreements || Poe Dameron X Fem!reader

Summary: As soon as you spotted Poe with another girl, you became enraged. Poe finds an unexpected way to relieve your anger when you both return to your quarters.

Warnings: smut (unprotected)

Word count: ~ 2400

Author: Fenrir

A/N: The prompt for today is: Angry Sex

 18 - Intense Disagreements || Poe Dameron X Fem!reader

"How could you do that?!" I yell at Poe. “Are you sleeping with her, huh?!” The word anger seems appropriate when I describe my feelings, but perhaps furious would be a better description of the current situation I and Poe are in.

"How could I do what? Why are you so insistent on arguing about everything?" Dameron raises his tone, standing right behind me.

As I turn around, my body shaking from all the pent up anger, "What the hell are you thinking?" I scream at him.

"Do you have any idea how delusional you are?" He asks, his tone oh so condescending.

I feel like slapping Poe, for the way he acts, always so confident and sure of himself, sometimes it almost seems like he doesn't care about anyone else. "I'm delusional?" I roll my eyes  while Dameron pushes me hard against the door, causing my back to hit it. “You were with some other woman, how am I supposed to react, huh?!”

Before I protest and make Poe feel sorry for his move, his lips are on mine, claiming, possessing.

My hands are on Poe's shirt, ready to yank him off, but instead I pull him toward me, as Dameron deepens the kiss, tongue probing and devouring. As his hands move from my face to my hips, pulling my body against him, I moan in anticipation.

Like a fire, I feel his desire growing and burning.

The fingers of my left hand find their way into his hair as I tug at his scalp with a strange mix of anger and lust in my heart.

"Ah," Dameron croans into my mouth, breaking the kiss as one hand grazes over my backside, cupping me; his other hand holds my neck, giving it a slight squeeze before pulling me forward into his embrace.

As much as I want to ravage Poe, there is nothing delicate about how he holds me, about the way he holds my ass and my neck. Dameron palms my breast roughly through my blouse as his hand moves downward.

Feeling my need as strong as his, I willingly, mindlessly arch into his touch.

As he steps back an inch to look at my face, Dameron hisses, "Do you know how mad you make me?" His eyes are so alive, so brazen.

"Show me," I dare him with my chin high, and the next instant I find myself with my front against the door and my hands at my back, Poe holding me still.

My blouse is torn after he pulls me back, allowing just enough space between the door and me for his hand to fit. I revel in anticipation of his touch, but what I don't anticipate is my blouse being torn in half. "Hey! Do you have fucking idea how much I spent on this blouse on Canto Bight?!"

I'm too shocked to react as Poe tugs my jeans down next, letting my hands go in the process. This gives me the leverage I need to push myself against the door and turn around.

"Not so soon," Poe replies dismissively when I try the same; I wriggle his pants against the door as my panties are the next to be torn.

When I am left standing with only my bra, I feel the warmth of Poe's body behind me; I push up towards Poe, teasing him. And then Dameron spanks me.

The strange sensation of pain and desire causes me to breathe out loudly.

He spanks me again, on the other ass cheek and my ear is nipped as he whispers, "Do you want me to show you?" His hands move from my hips towards my front and he yanks down my bra, pooling my breasts into his warm, calloused hands, as though weighing them.

I can feel the cold wood against my nipple as it hardens under his inspection; Poe tugs at my nipple a few times until I'm sure I might burst.

The tugging and squeezing of Dameron against my breasts make me clench up my legs; Dameron wants me to plead, and I might, if I weren't so mad at him.

I am being tortured on purpose by him for revenge.

Poe stops his movements as a throaty, utterly masculine and a beautiful groan emancipates from him; I grind back against him, letting him know my purpose; his jeans scraping against my bare skin feels amazing.

After a few moments, his right hand leaves my hip and I hear his belt buckle being undone and his jeans falling to the ground.

Poe's left hand stays on my breasts, continuing the assault, while his right hand spreads my legs, finding the sweet spot between them which is pooling with moisture; he groans hard at the contact, grinding his erection at the crease of my backside. His fingers take up a punishing rhythm at the very first instant, determined to get me there without a moment's delay.

My hands thrash back on his shoulder as I cry out helplessly. His eyes are fixed on me the whole time, I can easily feel it.

Within minutes, I'm on the brink; my body tightens, ready for the last touch to push me off when his fingers stop moving. I know this game, but that doesn't make me less resilient to it; it only means more frustration and anger. In a trance, I open my eyes to see Poe smiling down at me, that pure masculine, smug smile of his.

In the next second, his fingers pick up where they left off so abruptly, rubbing viciously at my already swollen clitoris.

"Oh God!" I moan, biting my lip and trying not to smile because I don't want him to know that he is doing this to me, although it is obvious he is doing it humorlessly.

He stops again, exactly at the same point he left earlier. His voice is dark as he tells me, "This is your punishment, on the edge and helpless. I feel this way every time you argue with me without a fucking reason, Y/N."

Inhaling heavily, I process his words, so raw and ardent.

He spreads my legs with one knee, pulling me back a few inches, not totally standing nor completely bent over, but just at his mercy. "Now, it's time for my fucking reward."

I hold onto the door, bracing myself.

I feel him seething deep inside me as he pushes in one long, hard thrust, letting out a grunt.

Incoherent sounds escape me as I tighten my grip on the door to brace myself.

"Fuck, you're so wet. Fighting me turns you on," Dameron states in a low, strangled voice.

As he pulls back, holding my hips as leverage, he surges forward in a flash; he keeps up the pace, the rhythm, each thrust harder and deeper leaving a beautiful, unbelievable impact on my body; the door begins to rattle with the brute force of Poe, as I feel myself floating towards the abyss, moaning for him like a cheap whore. The sounds he makes with every movement, so distinct and pleasurable, make me sprint rather than walk towards the finish line.

He places a soft kiss in the middle of my shoulder blades, a stark contrast to the brutal rhythm he has set and I cry out as the most intense wave hits me and I surrender to it; his fingers on my hips dig deep into my skin, leaving no doubt; he thrusts twice and falls heavily upon me, a grunt rolling off his parted lips.

Trying to catch our breaths, his hand wraps around my midriff as his nose breathes heavily into my hair. I have completely lost my grip on the door, and his hand and the other on the door are all that keep me from collapsing.

When I shift around in his embrace, facing Poe and wrapping my arms around his neck, soft, feather-like kisses turn into possessive ones; leaning forward, Poe bites on my lower lip as he lifts my legs up to wrap them around his hips.

Poe's eyes light up as I move against the feel of him, changing from calm and relaxed to passionate and ardent; I smile sheepishly at him, marvelling at the fact that I still have some control over him, even if it's not much.

A little of the excitement rubs off on me as Dameron states, "You're going to be the death of me one day, Y/N."

While I kiss Poe, unwilling to accept this is the part where we cuddle and sleep, I find myself softly landing on the bed with my man hovering over on top of me; I didn't even realise earlier he walked to our shared bed with me in his arms.

The journey of his lips doesn't stop there; it continues forward, or rather southward, as he kisses my forehead, eyes, nose, cheeks, lips, neck; kissing the exact spot where I can feel my pulse, licking, nibbling, and sucking my breasts, dipping his tongue into my navel and swirling it, my pubic bones, upper thighs, my knees, calves; he acts like a starving animal.

Poe looks down at me after slowly taking my right leg and placing it on his shoulder; his tingers run lightly against the skin on the back of my thigh.

Despite the fact that Poe has never made me feel insecure or shy in the bedroom, when he's looking down at me so intimately, I can't help but try to pull my legs together, which is impossible.

Looking every bit the devil he is, smooth and sinful, how could I ever resist Poe as he looks into my eyes like that? How could I possibly resist as the corners of his lips turn up in that grin of his?

As he kisses my clit and pushes my other leg onto his shoulder too, spreading me to his desire, his mouth moves downwards and he breathes deeply, closing his eyes; I'm watching every movement he makes.

After kissing the spot, Dameron says, "You smell wonderful, like sex and my precum."

As he spends the next few minutes kissing, I become frustrated, lifting my hips to increase the pressure of his lips on me, digging my hands into his shoulders, letting Poe know what he must be doing.

A smile spreads across his face as he thrusts his right hand's first two fingers towards my lips. "Suck," Dameron commands me simply, and I comply, imagining that it's his cock that I'm sucking, imagining his taste on my tongue as he holds my chin and angles me, pivoting his hips forward and forward, coating my throat with his precum.

While I moan around his fingers, he pulls them away from my mouth despite my protests; he moves his now wet fingers around my nipples and navel, leaving a damp trail behind. I feel his wet fingers pulling my lips apart, and his eyes are scrutinising me.

Dameron asks, "Do you want to see how wet you are?" He pushes both of his fingers deep into me, and I feel myself clamp down around him. Pulling them out, he draws a line just above. His fingers trace the same path as earlier, but backwards, circling my navel, my nipples, and then pushing into my mouth.

Poe's fingers taste salty and sweet with a trace of his precum and my juices mixed together; biting on his fingers I pull them deeper into my mouth, holding my hand on his wrist, not letting him pull them back.

I watch Poe rubbing against the edge of the bed as he growls, "Baby, what the fuck are you doing?"

As his teeth bite down on me again, I cry out; he pulls out his fingers and starts cupping my right breast; his tongue comes out, probing me open and licking precisely where it should; Poe squeezes my breast mercilessly as his tongue is pushed into my pussy; he starts slurping loudly and I roll my head back. In a deadly combination of his fingers, teeth, and tongue, I scream his name while arching against the bed, cumming hardly.

When he climbs up, he lets my legs off his shoulders, and I see his lips shine with my arousal. He kisses my neck, my mouth, and flips me around so that I'm on top of him.

Straddling him, I lift myself up, holding his hard cock in one hand until I'm just a few inches away from his dick.

"That's it, girl," he breathes sharply as I sink lower onto him, feeling myself being stretched delightfully. Despite how much it kills me, I stop when Poe is only half-way inside of me and pull him out.

"Fuck," Poe curses loudly, his head rolls back on the pillow.

Using the tip of Poe, I rub myself on the spot I need the most.

His face is filled with confidence and utter satisfaction. Through clenched teeth, Peo starts, "About what I said earlier..."

"Yes?" I ask, throwing my own head back, bucking my hips back and forth, his hands tightening around my hips. I’m curious what he’ll tell me.

He says, "I didn't mean to flirt with her, but you should know Zorii and I were a thing in the past," and I sink onto him completely, letting out a ragged breath as his hard shaft spreads my pussy so thoroughly. "Oh, fuck, Y/N!" Dameron yells as he pivots into me and strikes me sharply and hard; his hips moving up and down in an attempt to meet all of my movements.

As a sudden orgasm hits me, I stop everything I'm doing and moan his name loudly, my entire body feeling like it's been torn in two; my pussy burning, my juices and release pouring down as the knot built within my abdomen snapped.

Poe continues to pound unreservedly, his grip on my hips tightens, and moments later, he lies beneath me, muscles and nerves bulging. I can feel his warm, thick seed pouring deep inside of me as he lets out an animalistic cry.

I kiss his sweat-covered chest, feeling his heart beat so rapidly under my ears as I fall onto it in the process.I drift off to sleep with Poe still inside me when Dameron says, a mischievous grin dancing on his lips, "Now I understand why you got so angry. You love me a lot."
