Astrology Observations and Theories : Honorary Exalted Signs

Exalt in Astrology is when a planet is at it's best in a sign that it doesn't rule. For Example, the Moon is exalted in Taurus because, outside of Cancer ( The Moon rules Cancer ), Taurus is the biggest home body in the Zodiac. They are all about comfortability and being stable, which the Moon likes and is all about.

So almost all the planets' are exalted in a sign, except Uranus, Neptune and Pluto ( Mercury is up for debate ). Here are the planets that have an exalt sign.

The Sun is exalted in Aries

The Moon is exalted in Taurus

Mercury is exalted in Virgo (Idk why and idk if it is, cuz they rule it already)

Venus is exalted in Pisces

Mars is exalted in Capricorn

Jupiter is exalted in Cancer

Saturn is exalted in Libra

These are all the planets with exalts that everyone knows. But I feel like all the planets can be exalted and do very well in other signs too. which I'm going to give a sign for each planet then a reason for why I think it does so well in that planet.

The Sun Co Exalted in Taurus

While Taurus can be all about luxury and being secure, have you ever really met an insecure Taurus before? Lol. The Sun has to do with ego, the self, and our goals. All of which I feel Sun in Taurus people will almoat always have. Usually it's 'my way or the highway' with these people, but to a less agressive and in-your-face degree than their exalt Martian counterpart, Aries. And more of in a charming, Venusian way. They KNOW their worth and aren't willing to stoop to anything less. But they can be unmovable in opinion and belief sometimes, and but are still willing to hear you out SOMETIMES. Prone to indulging themselves a lot.

Moon Co Exalted in Aries

The Moon is our emotions, how we feel, what we're comfortable with, and our inner needs. Here, Aries isn't trying to hide or supress their emotions. They're usually very open about how they feel. How they say they feel is likely how they feel, no hidden meanings. I feel like people don't give this placement enough credit. Aries here won't focus as much of their energy on others needs and emotions to the point it exhausts them, however they can still relate to you. With them being so honest and open, if they've ever felt what you're feeling about something, they will validate your feeling and emotions by explaining a similar thing they experienced. They can be blunt with others, but more importantly, with themselves. They won't sugercoat anything if there's an issue they have and will probably try to solve it.

Mercury Co Exalted in Libra

Mercury is all about communication, the mindset we have, and what are reoccuring topics when conversing with you. Libra is a peoples' person kind of sign. Libra Mercury natives love to share and hear peoples stories and they love to share other peoples stories too. The words just flow from them naturally, silky smooth like honey. They can be very charming with their words and they always think before they speak because they know how words can affect people. Libra, the sign of partner ships, negotiation and sharing does very well in the planet of communication, thinking, and how we express ourselves.

Venus Co Exalted in Leo

Venus is a planet all about relationships, luxury, how we indulge, and how we spend our money. Like Taurus, Leos like to indulge; in themselves and in others. Leo's passion, creativity and pride seeps out and into others, making them a joy to be around. Like a typical Venusian, they can be generous and vain at the same time. There's never a dull moment with people like these and by the end the day they know how to settle down and chill too. Leos are lions, and like lions, they have their pride of people they always hang out with. Which coincides with Venus's relationship nature. Plus, Venus Leo natives are the ones to go big or go home, they like indulge on luxurious things too like a Venusian would.

Mars Co Exalted in Gemini

Mars is a planet energy, action and passion, so for some it may come as a suprise that Gemini actually does very well in this planet but it makes sense because Gemini, while not as fiery as an Aries or Leo, is still a highly energetic ans bubbly sign. Gemini can jump from topic to topic, person to person and interest to interest at a very fast rate because of their constant need for stimuli. And here, Mars is supplying energy to a sign that uses a lot of energy, so it's a symbiotic relationship between planet and sign. This is a placement that is tireless and always on the move, just how Mars likes it.

Jupiter Co Exalted in Aquarius

Jupiter is the planet of travel, philosophy, and beliefs. Which is why I think it does well in Aquarius, because this sign is well known for it's humanitarian views and constantly pushing to revolutionize society. Like Sagittarius ( and by extension Jupiter ), Aquarius are more susceptible to being open minded. They're always trying to understand the world, and most importantly, the people around them. They can do this by travel and connecting with people. Which will satiate the questions they have about people, cultures, and life in general. They attract luck by connecting communities and trying to see both sides of the same coin in anything, much like a typical Jupitarian.

Saturn Co Exalted in Virgo

The main themes for Saturn are Discipline, Life Lessons, and Reputation. And Virgo, Like Capricorn (Domicile) and Libra (Exalt), this placement will always try to be nothing short of perfect. This placement cares a lot about how they present themselves to others, and more importantly, themselves. Virgo is a sign notorious for being judgemental and perfection, but how they judge others is 10 times worse when judging themselves. This is a very disciplined placement. This placement indicates being VERY self aware of your flaws and problems, and having the power to develop into a better version of over time if you're always honest with yourself, about yourself.

Possible Planetary Exalts

I'm not sure why Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto don't have an official exalt. But I'm here to do them justice. These aren't the official ones, but my own speculation and theories 💕

Uranus Exalted in Scorpio

Uranus represents how our generation rebels against previous traditions and societal expectations, what boundaries of the previous generations we push. Which is why Scorpio, the sign literally known for the taboo and being misunderstood would work so well in this planet. During times with this placement, Society may go through many huge changes in the political and social world. A point in time where we break many societal stereotypes, barriers and push to make the taboo the status quo. A highly transformative period, will likely be filled with many controversies and issues, but in the end, will help better our society. After all, theres no rainbow without rain.

Neptune Exalted in Sagittarius

Known as the planet of dreams, hopes, the unconscious, how our generation thinks, and how we're delusional, Neptune surprisingly does very well in Sagittarius. This placement is about a generation that makes their dreams come true. These are people with vivid and abstract thoughts, and know how to put them into action. A placement that isn't afraid of trial and error until they achieve their dreams, and can also indicate being a trendsetter. Because of Sagittarius' constant exploration and truth seeking nature, it can kind of negate Neptune's delusional, cloudy nature, making this a generation that is very self aware and good at disecting others and themselves.

Pluto Exalted in Pisces

Pluto represents a generation's power, how we transform society in our era, what legacy we leave behind as a generation. And Pluto in Pisces represents a generation that pours it's power into making our society into a more empathetic and connected place. Here in this placement, Pisces' many hopes and dreams give Pluto an outlet to pour their power into. Marking an era where many people pursue their visions for the world, become more accepting of others and put their creativity to use.

🫧 mc in cancer can indicate being viewed as a motherly/ maternal figure who's very kind and soft which leads to us being underestimated. But that's cool cause y'know we stay shocking ppl with how determined, stern and hardworking we can be once we get to it💅💅💅💅💅😌😌😌

🫧 I'm guilty of this soo pisces/Neptune Doms/ 12th house boissss forgive me 🤠🤠 but i remember thinkin that the ones listed above are so lost in their dreamyland that theyre probably just not that ambitious 🤡🤡but nooooooooo that's the worst mistake you can make with these ppl. Underestimating them.🔪🔪🔪🤠🤠🤠 These ppl are and ambitious they just don't show it/ we dont see it (Neptune effect) It's like idk how to describe them but I'll try.✋

Once they find something they rlly want to invest in something or a purpose, they become these giants with their heads in the cloud /looking up and feet on the ground just running in the direction of their goal and they rlly dont care how hard they have to work or how long they have to work. Same goes with Aquarius placements too cause they also tend to dream alot. And i mean ALOT(guilty here aqua sun👁️👁️)

🫧 i feel like major aspects with Pluto can rlly change the way ppl perceive you.

Like if you have virgo rising normally ppl stereotype them as these boring ppl who have a very elfy clean look to them but if you have any any personal planet aspecting(majorly the harsh ones) with Pluto like moon/venus/mars etc, ppl can sense that intensity in you or you may show it to everyone when time comes. Let me know if you've actually been through something like this.📝📝

🫧idk if this is true for all, but saturn Pluto aspects tend to create this intense need to become more structured/ successful/ disciplined/ responsible in life and they may be extremely ambitious too. Again let me know abt your experiences 📝📝

PLUTO ASPECTING YOUR SUN AND/OR YOUR RISING

-It sucks when you can’t control every single aspect of how you are perceived. Like I don’t know if it’s just me but I always have felt like people have so many different ideas of who I am and what my life has been like. It’s fine most times because my Pluto trines both my rising and my sun so I don’t think it is too bad or extreme compared to other aspects ya know? I swear I don’t get why people react the way they do to me. It feels like too much. Idk how to explain it but it’s just other people react to me doing something like I’m either some kind of alien or (for a lack of a better words) like I’m a celebrity. I always wonder if my Neptune opposition with my rising has some contributing factor to it. Anyways I just wanted to rant about this because fuck it ya know? I decided to get a haircut and now I feel like a whole different person lol

Random Astro observations

-Aquarius suns without an Aquarius Mercury confuse me the most bruh. I think to a certain degree it has something to do with myself having my sun and Mercury in Aries so I don’t quite get people who don’t have their sun and Mercury in the same sign. Honestly it made me wonder about people who have an Aquarius placement even just one. I’m cool with them most times but if they have an Aquarius moon I tend to feel a disconnect emotionally. That will bring me to my next point.

-People who have a different element and modality to your moon sign will feel so disconnected most times. For me it would be anybody who has their moon in a sign like Aquarius or Scorpio. As a Virgo moon I have always found certain moon signs almost impossible to feel a connection like I have with certain signs like Taurus and Sagittarius. Like this is how the order goes for me (from intense and almost instant connection to damn do I even know when you are in the same room as me.) Sagittarius, Taurus, Capricorn, Virgo, Pisces, Gemini (really a hit or miss bro), Libra (mostly cause I can’t resist a Libra placement), Scorpio, Aries, Cancer, Leo, Aquarius. Now even then I am not entirely sure about this order of the signs. Tbh the only reason I put Scorpio before Aries is because of how many artist I listen to that have a Scorpio moon. Now I have met a good amount of Aries moons that I don’t feel that insane connection not even when their moon has a conjunction with any of my Aries placements. The only Aries moon that I can think of (at least right now) that I have felt an insane connection with is my grandma. Now my grandma is a Virgo sun with a Mercury in Libra, Venus in leo, and her mars is in Scorpio. So I feel like it influences me a bit more than some other placements would. Like I’m sorry leos but you guys do not influence me as much as I thought you guys did. I am pretty sure my grandma having both a Libra placement and a Scorpio placement is the main reason I connect with her so intensely. I love Leo placements but it’s just not the same vibes. ✨Anyways moving on✨

-Cancer suns with a sag moon (in my opinion) are so fucking nice to be around bruh. Are they the most emotional people? No, but that doesn’t make them assholes oddly enough unlike some sag placements I have seen…(sag Mercury I love the energy I really do but some of you either can’t read the room or have decided to close your eyes idk bruh). Sag moons are by far one of my favorite placements ever. I swear some have had the worst fucking childhood and yet don’t become a bitch like I am. Or as passive/people pleasing as the rest of the mutable signs (Virgo, Pisces, and Gemini) and yes I am included in that because I am very bad at confrontation and people interaction as a whole. People say they like me but I can’t understand their reasonings. If you think me listening to you vent makes me a great person I’m going to need you to raise your standards…

-Any negative aspect from the moon to one of your big six is a horrible placement to live with for us emotional babies. I speak as a person who has their moon forming an opposition with my Mercury and Venus while it forms a square aspect with my mars. Like I’m sorry I am not used to people comforting me when I’m sad. Idk how people can do it so easily. It is easier for me to just cry by myself than in front of others. It’s a work in progress for me.

-Honestly im glad I don’t have any negative aspects to Pluto tho…I don’t think I’d be able to handle a negative aspect. I have a couple positive aspects from my sun and ascendant to my Pluto and that shit is odd sometimes. I would love to hear some random shit that has happened to you guys with the negative aspects to Pluto. I feel like you guys have some interesting stories idk tho.

✨🌙 In my previous astro observations I mentioned that Capricorn moon people have “links.” Now hear me out, I’ve seen this happen a lot and in my opinion the reason they have “links” is because of how they’ve had to grow up independent and so they learnt a lot of life skills whilst they were at it. The older they get the more practical those skills become so them knowing so many people can be due to them knowing how to play the game and how to grab favours from people. This can apply generally for Capricorn placements too.

✨🌙 I’ve always noticed natives with sun conjunct Pluto always have a sort of dark energy around them. It doesn’t necessarily mean they’re bad people but it’s like Pluto casts a shadow over these people. It’s interesting.

✨🌙 Neptune in 12th natal and transit can give extremely vivid dreams to the point where the native can remember it even weeks later without noting them down.

✨🌙 Chiron in Capricorn can make your bones crack lmao or even give weak bones or bone injuries etc. Also based on the house it’s in can be reasons or where your bones crack for example if it’s in 9th house, you could have a bone injury at school or it cracks during school time or when you’re doing school work lol. Hope that makes sense.

✨🌙 Neptune square moon can have a very emotionally volatile and bipolar mother.

✨🌙 Also harsh Uranus aspects to the moon, they too can have a very bipolar relationship to the mother figure in their life especially growing up

✨🌙 From what I’ve noted dissociation is closely linked with harsh aspects from Neptune, Uranus and moon. Really makes sense.

✨🌙 If your moon negatively aspects your Pluto, this could even apply to positive aspects but a lot of the times I’ve seen that these people grew up in dangerous and risky environments apart from the outer world, they’ve even seen their families act up very dangerously.

✨🌙 It’s interesting but Libra Mars women might tend to accumulate most of their weight on their breasts lol

✨🌙 Talking about breasts, Mars in Cancer/4th house can have some issues related to the breasts in one way or another especially because Mars represents physical power and it’s debilitated in cancer/4th house and cancer rules the breasts and stomach. So these people can have food sensitivities, bloat easily etc.

✨🌙 Ive seen Saturn opposite Pluto natives grow up in a very restricted, abusive and overprotective environment for a very long time.

✨🌙 If you ever make a Capricorn mc or a cardinal mc feel like they can’t achieve things in life as a form of mockery… karma literally makes them achieve everything you said they wouldn’t even if the native does not see it playing out themselves. Then later they look back and are like “damn that’s me?” 😏😌

✨🌙 Gemini/mutable humour is actually unmatched

✨🌙 Mars aspecting ascendent can shape your body depending on the sign Mars is in for example if it’s in Aries it can give you an athletic body or if it’s in cancer, then that would make your body lean more towards being curvaceous. It also depends what rising sign Mars is aspecting etc.

✨🌙 Having Mercury aspecting Saturn or Pluto especially harsh aspects can give you a more deeper voice or a very unique voice. I’ve also noticed people with this aspect can be insecure about their voices. A girl told me she thought she “sounded like a man” even though I couldn’t tell.

✨🌙 Neptune really does blur the lines and boundaries of whatever it touches. If it’s harshly aspecting a planet, reality can be like a rude awakening for these people but if it’s a soft aspect then these people can comfortably live in their imagination and it’s much harder to get them to leave their little world.

✨🌙 Neptune aspecting Sun can live different lives like have many facades. It doesn’t make them “fake” per say. It’s just they’re able to adapt to their surroundings really well depending on the vibe they get, and on top of that, they are very private people so they have their own ways of interacting with different types of people.

✨🌙 Water sun and water moon are extremely psychic. They really need to wake up to their abilities or life will force it out of them and from what I’ve seen definitely not in the best way possible. I’ve seen people have sleep paralysis because they kept ignoring their abilities.

✨🌙 I’ve read and noticed that having empty houses in your chart can indicate that you’ve already achieved those characteristics in past lives so this life you’re not very focused on them and tend to overlook them. Personally for me this is true as-well. For example if majority of your planets are in Capricorn/10th house, you’re more focussed on getting that bag, making yourself known/recognised, becoming influential etc.

✨🌙 Libra mercuries are very good with words. They are literal charmers. They can even roast you but make it sound poetic and charming and you’d never be able to tell lol.

✨🌙 Sag placements from what I’ve seen are usually are very extroverted and fun people to be around. Their interactions rarely look forced and awkward.
