Peter Coyote - Tumblr Posts
So I can't wait for everyone in the Stranger Things fandom to come to the realization that Peter Coyote's 80s villain roles were the inspo for Dr. Brenner and become Peter fans as a result like I did.
WELCOME TO THE KING PETER CLUB, EVERYONE!!!

A primer for those who are Brenner Horny who want Brenner Vibes from King Peter:
The Inside is on YouTube and Web is basically Brenner but more badass.
I want to trade my hours wasted watching Stranger Things for VHS rips of obscure TV movies from the 80s and 90s that Peter Coyote starred in.
Not once in any of the material for the Heartbreakers blu-ray does anybody reviewing it point out that Arthur Blue is a giant douchenozzle.
I love you Peter Coyote but jfc.
I found a copy of Sphere on VHS. It's a stupid thing to get excited for, I know.
This.
This is the love theme to my crush on Peter Coyote.
I keep trying to convince myself that I don't like Peter Coyote that much and then I watch him and my brain fucking melts.

Happy birthday, my king.

Hi. It's a post.

I'm surprised that Peter Coyote's guest appearance on the sitcom Cybill wasn't mentioned. It was really weird and out of place. He really should have appeared on Roseanne or The John Larroquette Show instead because 60s counterculture icons frequently appeared on both.
ASDFGH@($+_+ I forgot that Michael Ironside was in Deepwater (2005) with Peter Coyote.
I just did a rewatch and 🥰
Edit:
I've spent the long weekend marathoning a bunch of his movies between piracy and Tubi and this man is a load of fun to watch, especially as over the top grimdark or scenery chewing villains.
Right now I'm looking through Michael Ironside's filmography on the usual sites and I can already tell that I'm going to have loads of fun watching these movies.
If you're a fellow elder millennial disheartened by the news about Kurtwood Smith, I have a proposal: we can always replace him with Peter Coyote. He's around the same age and just as good and accomplished acting wise. He's also written four books about his life experiences, which is pretty rad.
I've noticed we haven't been appreciating Peter Coyote nearly enough and he was in a lot of movies we all grew up watching. Honestly I wish there was more discourse about him in film forums I read because he's excellent and deserves his flowers.
