I got my score today

And it's 19.33 out of 20

I'm so happy

Like really happy

My smile won't fall for like a great deal of time when I remember it.

A couple of new Henle editions today. My old edition of the Nocturnes (Poland 1951) did not include the posthumous c# minor so there's my excuse.

Other than using ffffffffff when fffffffff would do, this might be genius.

Ah yes I remember this one. I first saw this score in 1978 when my teacher was preparing the full 1st volume for a lecture-recital. Kwazy.

This is a graffito I can get behind. In front of, too. And is that a dilapidated piano on the ground below? An upright left too long beneath the raw elements? Or is it just a bench? I don't know.

O this is a tasty score. Not for musical purposes necessarily, although who knows what is possible in terms of transcribing "the composer's intention" (so tedious for so long).

The composition consists of the artist’s transcription of the various punctuation from each line of “Franny” and “Zooey” to a blank page of manuscript paper.  Each color designates a different type of punctuation in the story.  For instance, pencil stands in for periods, orange for commas, green for question marks and so on. This system also designates each type of punctuation as a certain type of note (periods equal whole notes, commas equal quarter notes, apostrophes equal grace notes, colons and semi-colons equal dotted half notes, etc.).
