This is Hasan and Leena, a happily married couple from Gaza. I am a motion graphic designer, and my wife is a content creator. We lived joyfully and peacefully for barely 7 months until the war struck and forced us to endure the hardest days of our life. So far, we have been displacedย nine times from one location to another. We've lost our jobs. Our lovely, wormย home. Members of our family, in addition to the continual fear we suffer.
The most difficult decision for us was to leave our country, to leave Gaza, overcome the obstacles we faced and the losses we suffered, and begin a new life from scratch.

I'm currently seeking donations to support the evacuation of my family (10 family members) from the city of Rafah, where they have been sheltering over the past 6 months.
The lack of food, water, medication, and basic human needs has been worsening as the Israeli genocide in Gaza persists.
My family has never thought of leaving our beloved Gaza until the genocidal state of Israel has made it impossible to maintain life there. The homes of all my family members and their own families have been reduced to rubble alongside the entire village where
My mother, my brother, and my 2 brothers along with their young families have, with a heavy heart, made the tough decision of leaving Gaza into safety in Egypt, escaping the ongoing carnage of death and destruction that has claimed tens of thousands of lives and millions of livelihoods.
Unfortunately, they now have no choice but to leave because, as my brother tells me, โthere is nothing left to stay there for anymore.โ
In December 2023, I submitted tourist visa - 600 applications for all of my family members through the Department of Home Affairs. I also, concurrently, lodged consular assistance applications for each family member through the DFAT to facilitate their departure through Rafah crossing to Australia.
All of the 10 โThey were refused a visa after waiting 4 months
Therefore, it is frustrating and heart wrenching, to say the least, that the only way to evacuate my family is to use the sole Egyptian travel agent currently operating across the Gaza/Egypt border who charges large sums of money for each Gazan who tries to escape the genocide - 5k US dollars each!
I'm left with no other choice but to use this travel agent!
Please help me evacuate my family members through the Rafah crossing into Egypt and into safety.
I need all the support that I can muster to help them escape with their lives, secure basic needs in Egypt, and get urgently-needed medication and medical assistance for my sick mother who suffers from diabetes.

First, after an aggressive war on Gaza City and its revival, we were displaced from our 3-storey house in which I and my family of 3 members live.
My father's family consists of 8 members
My grandfather, may God have mercy on him, was martyred by occupation aircraft on 12/14/2023.
The one who was martyred while he was leaving the house to check on our house next to him, which could not be reached due to a brutal enemy who does not differentiate between anyone in death, went out to check on our house, which we were not in because of my displacement to Rafah, me, my father, and our families due to the intensity of the fighting in Khan Yunis, and after that A few days ago, our store in which my father and brothers work was bombed by occupation aircraft. He was working to gather his strength from it and meet the needs of our house, which no longer exists due to the bombing. We ask you to help and contribute, even if just a little, by donating to us so that we can compensate for a little of what we lost.

We have been through many wars before, but this war was not like the ones before it. Our lives were turned upside down. We became displaced from one place to another. We are the Anas family, residents of northern Gaza, specifically in the Shujaiya area. In the first week of the war, we fled our home because everyone considered our home to be in a dangerous area. We moved to the Rimal area, specifically in the middle of Gaza. There, we received the news that our home, which contained all our beautiful memories, was bombed. Suddenly, it was gone!!! Just thinking that your home, which you worked hard on and built from scratch and took a lot of your life, was gone in less than a second ! After a while, we left the sands to the Al-Zawaida area because of the heavy shelling. We stayed there for about two weeks, and then the terrorist army asked us to go to Rafah. We actually fled for the fourth time to Rafah and stayed there for two months, some of the most difficult days of our lives, as there was no way or means to live a normal life. ๐๐ After that, because of the invasion of Rafah, we moved to Deir al-Balah. Now, we are in very difficult and oppressive circumstances.
We are asking you with all shame to support and stand by us in these difficult circumstances that everyone knows because we lost our home, our work and any stable source of income. Thank you all.
