Overwatch Events: 2021 Anniversary Funky Baptiste
We got the name of the new Baptiste skin! It's Funky Baptiste and I love it! With that said, I am a little disappointed that his immortality field isn't a disco ball.
Overwatch Events: 2021 Anniversary Venus Moira
We got another skin!! It is called Venus Moira as the title suggests. I think it looks really cool and is pretty fitting to her character. Also, it is much better than some of her other skins. I also find it really funny that most people on Twitter immediately went, "OMG Poison Ivy Moira!!!" I mean, they're not wrong, but I just find it pretty funny. After the previous Archives event, I am really glad that we are getting some really good-looking skins.
Overwatch Events: 2021 Anniversary Black Cat Sombra
I really want to know who designed this year's anniversary skins because I feel like there might be a theme. So, we got to see another one of this year's anniversary skins, Black Cat Sombra. Like I mentioned early, I think that there is a theme of Batman villains. We have Sombra as Catwoman, Moira as Poison Ivy, and Baptiste as... Polka-Dot Man... maybe. The question is, will we get Joker/Harlequin Junkrat? I really like this skin; I think it is super cute.
Overwatch Events: 2021 Anniversary Skin Rankings.
We got 8 new skins with the 2021 Anniversary Event(3 Epics, 5 Legendaries), and I will rank them! I will be ranking them in their category of Epic or Legendary, but I do think that all of them are cool. From top to bottom, I will go from my favorite to least favorite.
Epic Weekly Challenge Skins
Wrecking Ball - 8 Ball(Week 3): I love it so much! I think that it is such a good idea and that it was executed perfectly. I love how he has a little tuxedo and I love the wood grain and black plastic texture. I think that this could have been a legendary skin, I know that I would have bought it.
Echo - Bird of Paradise(Week 2): I think that it is super pretty and works really well with Echo's character. I love how colorful it is, but I wish that they incorporated a little more blue into the skin. I love the flower designs on her legs, chest, and arms.
Ana - Cybernetic(Week 1): I like this skin, no as much as the other skins. The color palette reminds me of Sombra's classic skin. I think the moving pixels inside her cape look awesome. The color palette and how they executed it were well done, but the visor is weird. I wish they just gave her a mask, like her Shrike skin.
Legendary Loot Box Skins
Sombra - Black Cat: She's a catgirl... that's it... that's my reason. But seriously, it's super cute! I love the fact that she has toe beans and cat ears. Fun Fact, the first gold gun I got was Sombra's and I think that it looks really good with the skin.
Junkrat - Junkfood: Yet another extremely colorful skin! It's so great! I think that this is the most detailed skin out of all of these ones. Some of my favorite details are the candy cane peg leg, moving cherry on his left boot, and the donut on his concussion mine.
Baptiste - Funky: I think that this skin looks great. I love how his gun has a texture that reminds me of 1970s cars and that he was a lava lamp in his backpack. I also think that his belt is cool, but I just don't think it is better than Junkfood or Black Cat.
Moira - Venus: I think that it is a cool skin with a good concept and pretty good execution with a lot of detail. With that said, similarly to the Baptiste skin, I just don't think it looks as good as the other skins.
Doomfist - Gladiator: I don't like it that much. I don't know whatever he is wearing on his face, I think it would look better if we could see his face. I just don't like it; Formal is a better skin by a lot.
Anyways, I hope you all are enjoying the event so far, I certainly am. I actually just won enough games to get the Ana skin! I will be posting on my side blog about my favorite book series soon, then about my one series in particular.
Overwatch Events: 2021 Halloween Terror Event - Vampire Bat Echo
Alright, second legendary skin for the event which starts tomorrow! Like the title suggests, it's Vampire Bat Echo. I think it looks pretty cool and the color scheme reminds me a lot of the Talon skins color schemes. With that said, I think that the ears look a little ridiculous, but I do like this skin more than Draugr Reinhardt.
Anyways, remember the 2021 Halloween Terror Event starts tomorrow, Tuesday October 12th, and runs through Tuesday November 2nd.
Overwatch Events: 2021 Halloween Terror Event - Vampire Hunter Brigitte
Alright! Sorry, this came out a few hours late, I was busy, but we got another look at one of this year's legendary skins! We will be getting a Vampire Hunter Legendary Brigitte skin and it is now my favorite skin by a lot!
Anyways, like the other two legendary skins showcased on Overwatch's Twitter today, this skin will be available starting tomorrow, Tuesday, October 12th through Tuesday, November 2nd.
Overwatch Events: Cassidy's New Blood Challenge
Alright, Cassidy's New Blood Challenge has begun! It will be live from now until November 23rd. If you play during the challenge, you will be able to win a player icon, a spray, and skin. If you want any Overwatch Twitch streamers during the event you will be able to get 6 sprays via Twitch drops.
By playing 9 games, you will win the Sandstorm Player Icon. By playing 18 games, you will win the Old Friends spray. By playing 27 games, you will win the Sandstorm Cassidy skin.
If you watch 2 hours of Overwatch Twitch streamers you will get the Back to Back spray. If you watch another 2 hours (4 hours overall) of Overwatch Twitch streamers you will get the Talon Spotted and Cute Bike sprays. If you watch another 2 hours (6 hours overall) of Overwatch Twitch streamers you will get the Determined, Hat Tip, and Tea Break sprays.
I thought that we would be getting a short story to go with this event, but we are actually getting a comic series for Cassidy called New Blood. Since I have a bunch going on this week, I will be covering the first issue of the series later this week or next week, but from what I've seen, as well as Cassidy, Ana and Pharah are going to be in this series.
Anyways, like I said, I will be covering the first issue of New Blood and there is a piece of Overwatch League news that I might mention, but I need to think about it first. With that being said, have fun playing if you try to get the event items, and good luck!
Overwatch Events: 2021 Winter Wonderland Skin Ideas
Alright, so I know that I said that I was going to cover the first issue of New Blood over last week's break, but I just wasn't able to get it done. So, I think I am going to push that off until later when I have more motivation to actually do it. I was just kind of busy over the break. My family hosted Thanksgiving this year, I have been sick for the past few days, I have a decent amount of catching up to do in terms of school work, and I have about 2 weeks of school left until the Winter break and it's just been a lot!
So, I wanted to just do something kind of simple and fun, and my brain immediately went to the upcoming Winter event(I can't believe it's already December). Now, enough of me rambling, on to the ideas! Heads up, this is kind of a long one, I didn't realize how long this would get, but oh well!
I will be referencing Master Ian Gamer's Hero's skin chart in this video for who I think should be getting Winter Wonderland skins. Watch the video if you want more information about why I picked out the heroes I did. (Also, sorry some of the images are really big. It just came out that way).
Ashe: The only winter skin Ashe has is her Epic skin, Winter. Considering Ashe got a Legendary skin during this year's Summer Games Event, I believe it is less likely that she will get a skin, but still possible. If she were to get a skin, I think it should be based on her Snowball Fight spray which I think could be an Epic or Legendary skin.
Baptiste: Baptiste has no Winter Wonderland skin. I think that he could get an Epic or Legendary skin since he doesn't have one already. I think it would be cool if he got a skin, Epic probably, but maybe Legendary based on his Snowball Fight spray.
D.Va: Like Baptiste, D.Va doesn't have a Winter Wonderland skin. I think that she should get a Legendary skin since she hasn't gotten a skin in over a year, her last skin being her 2020 Halloween Terror skin, Shin-Ryeong. I think that a Legendary skin that turns Tokki(D.Va's mech) into a sleigh would be really cool and I think that it would fit well with Maddy Jean's Festive D.Va(left/upper image, I don't know how it will look depending on the device you're using). Otherwise, an Epic skin could be based on D.Va's Ornament spray (right/lower image).
Genji: Since Genji just got an Epic skin with the Halloween Terror Event, if he got a skin, I think it would end up being a Legendary skin. Genji does not have a Winter Wonderland skin, but, like D.Va, I think a decent skin for him would be based on his ornament spray. Although, I think giving Genji a casual skin to match with Hanzo would be really cool.
Orisa: Orisa does not have a Winter Wonderland skin, but she has some of the coolest fan concepts for the Winter Wonderland Event! Kai Chang on Artstation created this amazing Reindeer Orisa concept art(left/upper) and Maddy Jean on Artstation also created her own rendition of Reindeer Orisa(right/lower). I think that both of these skins would end up being Legendarys if they were added to the game.
Wrecking Ball: Like most of the other characters on this list, Wrecking Ball does not have a Winter Wonderland skin. I think that they could make an Epic skin based on his Stocking spray(left/upper), but I also think they could make a snowball or snowglobe-themed Legendary skin. An example of a Snowglobe themed skin would be the image posted by Devygone on Reddit(right/lower).

Overwatch Events: 2022 Lunar New Year Teaser
Alright, the Overwatch Twitter made an announcement about the 2022 Lunar New Year event! It will be starting on Tuesday, January 25th and ending on Tuesday, February 15th.
We can also predict, based on voice lines heard in the teaser, that Doomfist, Mercy, and Tracer will be getting skins. I would assume that they will be getting three out of the five legendary skins that come with the event since Tracer got an epic skin in the 2021 Winter Wonderland event, so giving her another epic skin would be a little weird.
We'll probably be getting a skin teaser later today and we'll probably be getting two skin teasers tomorrow. So, I'll try to put updates out as soon as they come out. ~ Nova.
Overwatch Events: Seolbim Mercy Trailer
Alright, we got the first skin trailer and it is for the legendary Seolbim Mercy skin. I think it looks great! I really like the color scheme and I think that the wings on this skin are some of my favorite out of all of her skins! The event will be starting tomorrow, Tuesday, January 25th.

Overwatch Events: Nezha Tracer Trailer
Alright, we got the second skin trailer for the 2022 Lunar New Year event. It is the legendary Nezha Tracer skin. I love her hair and her shoes. Also, I really like the paint on her face since it reminds me of tiger stripes which I assume are for the Year of the Tiger!

Overwatch Events: 2022 Lunar New Year Week 2 - Auspicious Soldier:76
Alright, it is week 2 of the 2022 Lunar New Year event which means we can win a new skin! You will be able to win the Auspicious Soldier:76 items. For context, when you win a game you get 2 points and when you lose you get 1 point.
Once you win 9 points, you win the Auspicious Player Icon.
Once you win 18 points, you win the Practice Forms spray.
Once you win 27 points, you win the Auspicious Soldier:76 skin.

Alright, it is week 3 of the 2022 Lunar New Year event which means we can win a new skin! You will be able to win the Porcelain Wrecking Ball items. For context, when you win a game you get 2 points and when you lose you get 1 point.
Once you win 9 points, you win the Tea Player Icon. Once you win 18 points, you win the Porcelain spray. Once you win 27 points, you win the Porcelain Wrecking Ball skin.

Overwatch Events: Reaper Character Challenge
Alright, it's been a little... I meant to make an update post, but I got sick. It's not COVID, but I have had a fever since Thursday which has sucked. But I'm feeling better, so I thought I'd make this post.
Reaper is getting a character challenge called Reaper's Code of Violence which starts on February 22nd (this coming Tuesday) and ends on March 8th.

Overwatch Events: Reaper's Code of Violence Event
Alright, the new character challenge is live! Reaper's Code of Violence Challenge will be running from February 22nd, 2022 to March 8th, 2022. By playing 9 games, you will get the Dusk Player Icon. You will win the Deadly Mischief spray by playing 18 games. Finally, you will win the Dusk Reaper skin by playing 27 games.
Also, by watching up to 6 hours of Overwatch streams, with drops activated, you get 6 sprays. I would recommend watching Emongg at https://www.twitch.tv/emongg if you want to get the sprays. He is who I have been watching this afternoon and I have already gotten the first three sprays. He streams for a while almost every day.

Overwatch Events: Anniversary Remix Volume 2 - Week 3
Alright, sorry for not posting about the second week of this event, I have a lot going on right now, so I kind of just forgot.
Tomorrow will be the beggining of Week 3 of the Anniversary Remix Volume 2. You will be able to win the Maestro Sigma item set including the icon, emote, and skin. Remember the event will be ending on June 7th, 2022.
Throughout this final week, you can win the following legendary skins(they will be listed in order of my most to least favorite): Hydra Symmetra, Night Owl Ana, Neon Cat Sombra, Noxious Roadhog, Dark Wolf Hanzo, and Poison Dart Lucio.
