“Do you think I’m boring?”
Yoongi frowns at his book. He could hear how small your voice was - a contrast to the usual booming confidence. And when he turned his head to look at you, there was a sadness there he couldn’t decipher.
“Where is this coming from?”
“I just think……I’m quite boring.” Yoongi sits up on the couch, his knees pressing into yours. You lick your lips, lower your head. It feels so stupid. It was just some random guy at some random event. And yet his words, the tone of them, really rattled you. You explain this to Yoongi. And he takes your hand in his.
“Who is he? I’ll kill him.”
“Bit extreme.”
“He made you sad.”
“I’m not sad….exactly. I’m just thinking….maybe he’s right. I mean, I work all the time. And when I’m not working, I sleep. That’s it. I don’t party. I don’t drink all that much. I’m not banging every person that gives me attention.”
You chuckle self deprecatingly. “I’m a shame to the successful producer name.”
Yoongi can tell you’re deflecting. It’s a go-to-move when your emotions seem overwhelming. He does it too, gives him a semblance of control. But still, you both know you shouldn’t.
“Hey…..don’t do that. Don’t be so hard on yourself.”
“Am I though? Am I boring?”
“Are you kidding?” Yoongi asks, baffled.
“No. I genuinely want to know.”
“You’re the smartest person I know. And what you don’t know, you’re always open to. You have this really dark….sense of humour, which I love. I fucking love how funny you are and how you form connections in your head between things that seem completely unrelated.”
“It’s a curse.”
“It’s a goddamn blessing. You impress me. Constantly. I’m proud to know you and I’m happy to have you in my life.”
You lower your head and rub your neck - that classic thing you do when you feel embarrassed. So, he goes on.
“You’re fun. You play basketball and you microwave underwear.”
“That was one time and I was on my way to the airport!” You defend.
“Would a boring person to do that?”
Your heart feels warm with every word he utters. You close your eyes, tell yourself to believe him. It’s been a struggle. And Yoongi’s has made it easier.
“Thanks, Yoon-ah.”
He pulls you into his lap, kisses you on the forehead. He rubs your arm and your back for a few moments before asking,
“Who’s giving you attention?”
“Caught on, did you?” You tease.
“I want names.” Yoongi says seriously.
“Jagi.” You say calmly.
“Mmh?”
“I only want your attention.”
“Good. Gotta live up to that successful producer name, don’t I?”
And they say that I will find another you, that can't be true.

I’ve just recently been introduced to One OK Rock, and man, am I impressed! I love this song so much! The message is a great one, and I absolutely love Taka’s voice! Super happy I discovered them!
I still remember a time when you felt like home // You and me up against the great unknown // You were my life, now you're out of my life // Yeah, I guess that's life
Love this One Ok Rock song! It's super cool that they collaborated on this song with 5sos, since they took them on the Sounds Live Feels Live tour. All of their voice mesh so we'll, and they come together to make an absolutely stunning product.

Translator: They say there is the story that your- Host: Legend! Translator: Yeah, Legend! That your guitarist Toru, Taka: Yes. Translator: was almost chasing you to get you to the first rehearsal into the band. Is it true? Taka: Exactly. Translator: Can you tell us the story? Host: Why you were running! Taka: Uhm, I was…I think it was when I was uhm…16 years old. I was working at a restaurant and uhm, you know, I was…I quit school so that’s why I was…why I had a job at the restaurant. But uhm…he was literally student still and after school he came to our restaurant like all the time [Translator laughs], you know, three hours, four hours just sitting, and then he never like, you know, uhm…like ordered some food, just water. And then I came to him “What are you doing here?”, he was just saying like “If you wanna come to our rehearsal, I’ll be leaving but if you not say [yes] I’m gonna stay here.”. [everyone laughs] And then: “Okay, I’m down. So please, get outta here right now.” [Host laughs] [Russian translation] Translator: It’s kind of a bullying. (not sure about this) Taka: Yeah. Translator: You never regret that you came to rehearsal finally? Taka: Yeah! Totally [not]. I’m appreciated to Toru right now. Translator: Toru could have been still sitting if you didn’t say yes there in the restaurant. Taka: [laughs hysterically] Yeah I think so, maybe. I [would still be] working there and he [would still be] sitting there.
