Olivia Baker Tag - Tumblr Posts

okay too many people have liked this post so i'll talk about Olivia for a bit. Olivia Baker (the Effervescent Gravedigger, thanks matcha) is the gravedigger behind the 'Baker Cemetery', one of the graveyards around London for the permanently deceased, with it's signature tradition being to leave candles out in every tombstone (to represent that "Even in the all encompassing darkness surrounding us, you gave others some form of light."). She is very much obsessed with and loves Permanent Death, she thinks about it a lot and finds the idea of a true, definite ending to one's life the most beautiful thing ever. Due to her not very, active job (not a lot of people are dying all the time) she has plenty of time to dedicate herself to the arts, mostly being one to read poems and books (last time she tried to express her love for all things permanently gone she got kicked out of the Empress' Court by her own parents, who sorta disowned her after that.)
