I keep thinking about the idea of ever loyal Barbatos - ever dutiful, ever putting the prince above himself, ever putting the lords above himself - and the potential for pure LONGING he may feel towards MC.

Though Diavolo may not be able to make a pact with MC, it’s damn obvious he adores MC. Everyone does. But Barbatos… he’s just the butler, isn’t he? Just the servant… but oh how badly he wants his master’s secret love for himself!

Like… the PINING as he watches MC become so close with the seven lords, the YEARNING for more than just a place as a servant, Barbatos finding ANY excuse he can to spend time with MC. Of course he needs a hand in the kitchen, the recipe is best made with two sets of hands. Of course he needs MC’s company while shopping, he’ll need a second opinion on which treats to get for the prince. Of course he insists too on getting lunch with MC - humans must eat after all, and it would be terribly rude to not stop somewhere with MC, right? Just as a thanks for accompanying him in his chores of course, definitely nothing more, nope.

Idk just… Barbatos longing for MC and the heartache and the WANT - and then how soft and sweet it would be when he finally gets what he wants. Would it be because MC said something first? Or would Barbatos break one evening after seeing the lords being too affectionate with MC, only confessing why he left the room once MC chases him down to see if he’s okay? Either way, Barbatos pining is on my mind

Well, let's get started.

To begin with, I want to say that I was not very hooked on the beginning. Yes, it's cool that Solmare made it so that the MC has not yet moved much away from recent events (yes, I thought that they would, as usual, make the MC forget it and live as before, as if they had not been in the past at all).

And yes, I wonder what's going on with Simeon. It was obvious that he was feeling worse and that something was wrong with him. I'm just already hoping that he'll be okay in the end and become an angel again (Solmare, please don't touch my angel).

Thirteen was cute, by the way.

And the last thing that got me hooked was the mention of Michael. I'm sure he called Raphael back to Celestial Realm about what happened to MC. At least, it seems to me that this unexpected challenge is related to this case.

And that's all. These are all the points that somehow interested me. I didn't like that Solomon, in fact, after the first night after returning, dumped into the world of people, leaving MC in Devildom. Like, seriously? Collecting rare materials sounds like a cheap excuse.

And also this Science Fair. The first thing I thought when I saw it was just "What? What the f*ck is it for?" By the way, let's digress from the topic, who did you choose for SF? I chose Satan (if I look logically, chemistry is the only thing I'm even more or less into).

Something tells me that something will happen on this SF and everything will go wrong again.

Besides, I barely forced myself to go through a hard lesson. The Little D. are cute, of course, but that's not what I'd like to read. I guess I expected too much from Solmare.

In general, I hope that in the following lessons Solmare will not spoil the story even more, they had such potential. And I also hope that they will finally show Michael and reveal his character and past (and no, I don't want him to go to hell again under the guise of Raphael, NO, LET HIM APPEAR IN HIS REAL FORM, I'M TIRED OF WAITING FOR HIM, I NEED HIM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE).

Mc: *looking at him fondly* Humans only have this one life, Simeon.

Simeon: …

Mc: We can't even be sure that heaven or hell exists, although I know ironically … Only this life.

Simeon: *looking into their eyes*

Mc: If you were in that situation? Would you prefer to live in a glass box without any danger? Or risk and live, really, live as long as you can?

Mc: *totally healed* Do you think humans should be like that because that's how you've been living as an angel?

Simeon: *feeling his chest heaving*

Mc: *smiling* Tell me, would you be willing to go on like this now that you're human?

This doesn't make a lot of sense but I'm thirsty…Give me a deep conversation between Simeon and Mc about mortality, about the human beings, about being human, about angel standards, about angel thoughts about humans, about Simeon's feelings and everything that's in his heart!!!! Please.

I think I'm waiting too much for the new season right? 😂
