One hot take is that, additionally to the post above, physical nonhumanity and physical zoanthropy is completely valid and often misinterpreted. Luckily, tumblr is quite a safe space for us, but other alterhuman socials aren’t so much.

Another hot take is that nonhumanity can and does not need to „look pretty“. It is not always just wanting to be in nature, but also hurting yourself due to not being able to stand what you look like. The nonhuman experience can also consist of delusions, lacking sympathy due to misanthropy, your types/identity developing into a hyperfixation and being the only thing you think or talk about. Nonhumanity can also develop into different paraphilic attractions because of your animalistic brain.

Being nonhuman is involuntary

and it is still valid, no matter what.

Mine isn't anything big or dramatic, I just don't like Autumn J, I get the hype but like... I find their music mid and don't like the lyrics. That's just me though lol.

What is factkin? (By a Fact-copinglinker)

The general opinion aka hate on factkin seems to be deeply intertwined with the Otherkin community, Theres barely any representation from actual factkins and most of the hate towards factkin individuals is based on false information and stereotypes. I, myself am a little scared to speak up about this because people still have this deeply intertwined hatred towards factkin individuals to this day. I hope youre willing to listen.

So what is factkin? (From a factlinks position.) Factkin, or Factualkin, is having an involuntary kintype that is factual-based. For example, someone who involuntarily identifies in a non-physical way as another person. Tho factkin is not limited to human beings and identities on factual bases like a specific real animal also fall under factkin. For example the dog of your friend, you identify specifically as that dog? Youre factkin.

Factkin is never entirely factual, Its like taking a factual base and fill in cracks with fiction, you arent in another persons head and fill these cracks with what they present to be for ex. online or with your own perception of them, internet personas, on stage personas etc. All of these are factkin identities.

So why are factkin so hated within the community?

1. The term factkin was coined to mock otherkin but has since been reclaimed by Actual factkin individuals. To go against this factkin folk uses the term Factualkin instead, tho factkin is still more broadly known.

2. People claim being factkin is identity theft wich is simply not true. Identity theft is a serious crime involving stealing personal data such as your social security number or credit card information with the intention of making profit. Factkin individuals do not do that.

This identity is Non physical, Factkin individuals are aware of not physically being their kin. I hope i was able to explain factkin to you in a way that it is understandable and in a way that maybe got rid of some stereotypes.

What i also wanted to mention is that theres ethical and unethical ways of handling being factkin. Respecting boundaries is very important, dont go up to your source and tell them you identify as them cause this will make people uncomfortable.

Also stealing someones posts, Storys, name and completely impersonating and copying their online presence isnt something i support as this is also heavily breaking boundaries.

These are things people on instagram were complaining abt as i left out the ethical part on the post first so i thought i might include this here. Im hoping i didnt say anything wrong, dont mind correcting me!
