Friendly reminder that Nico Di Angelo as a child, loved pirates and Greek mythology.

Imagine a 10 year old Nico getting excited that the Greek gods exist, then finding out that he gets to learn how to sword fight just like pirates do. (He was so excited he ended up cutting his leg resulting in a scar)

And now imagine all that excitement disappear when he learns that he can never show his big sister what he learnt.

A part of always breaks at this because as the youngest sibling it makes me think would my sister do this? Would my brother? Like if they were promised a new family and all we had was each other would they just quickly leave me? Haha sorry for getting into the feels it’s just that this has always bugged me but I’m glad someone brought it it up. This just really gets me thinking…

constantly thinking about how heartbroken little nico would have been if he heard that the promise of a new family is what initially made bianca interested in joining the hunters. especially since only a few minutes earlier she literally said he was her only family. there are few less subtle ways to directly say she wanted to replace him.
