i love this series sooo much, its probably one of my fav new gens rn
What are your thoughts on NewGen so far? ...I have some opinions
For me it's a so-so in some ways, but I'm not really here to complain, because I enjoyed what we got so far!
The LIs are lovely, the customization is wonderful & the clothes are cute! The shorter episodes are a nice "warm-up", and the game straight up telling you what you missed for an illustration is super helpful and that's a change I really appreciate.
I hope we get some cool events in the future.
Anyway, these are just my thoughts;
I personally find the site quite hard to navigate
I don't understand why we needed three different currencies (one of which doesn't really do much), gold/money & APs would've been fine, in my opinion (and that would've solved other issue as well, which is; why do clothes cost AP? You know...the currency that you also need to play the episodes; it kind of forces the player to choose between playing the eps or dressing up, but that might not be a strong reason)
I also don't really like the "method" how the special scenes are unlocked (but that's not just for this game)
The voting minigame is frustrating & how much it punishes the player for making a mistake is a bit discouraging (and that being said, f2p players are at a disadvantage compared to paying players in the comp)
