Alright I haven’t posted here in forever but lately I’ve been playing a new game in the wonderful Brindleton save that @pixelplayground made and I have gotten really attached to the 3 families I made there lol This lot is a modified version of @simmerberlin‘s awesome Poppy Park, which was perfect for a romantic fall wedding. Poses are by @clumsyalienn, @tatibunnymoon and @briengirl Womens clothes by @coloresurbanos and @plumbobteasociety and I cannot remember who made the mens suits, comment below if you know haha >_>

Long ass character backstory under the cut.

We’ll start with Addison Branham, the bride. She lost her parents at the age of 12 in a terrible drunk driving accident, and her 22 year old sister, Juniper, stepped in and became her guardian. It was a hard road for both of them, finding equilibrium with their lives turned on their heads. 

Just as the sisters started to find their footing, she met Alexander Brindleton in high school. She immediately hated him, and her life was never the same. After much antagonism between the two of them, she started to realize maybe she didn’t completely loathe him, and eventually they started dating.  They dated all through high school, and went to college unsure whether their relationship could stand the strain of long distance. 4 years and a proposal later, they’re going as strong as ever. 

Juniper had always been a little leery of their relationship, since the Brindleton family has been there since the founding of the town. Alexander’s father was also rumored to be from a prominent italian mob family, and while he may have saved the Brindleton family fortune, at what cost?

Alexander Brindleton grew up surrounded by history and wealth. He never quite fit in with his cold, calculating mother or his loving but overbearing father. Mostly he wanted to stay in, play video games and write fantasy short stories. He couldn’t have cared less about his mother’s political ambitions or his father’s penchant of disappearing for days. He drifted through school until the day he met Addison and instantly fell in love. After a courtship that mostly consisted of him trying to say the right thing and instantly sticking his foot in his mouth, he left Addison alone. This allowed her to form her own opinion of him and get to know him without the pressure of his admiration (and awkward sarcasm). His mother, Adeline, had always been distantly disapproving of Addison. She felt that the Branham’s didn’t have enough money or social clout to marry into her family. This seemed to ignore her own scandalous marriage to Marco, who came from a very rich italian family. This was beneficial because at the time because her father had sunk most of their fortune into bad investments. However, his lineage was not pristine, and his families money didn’t appear to be entirely on the up and up. This didn’t fit her parents expectation that she marry a rich Connecticut WASP whose family arrived on the Mayflower. Over the years Adeline warmed slightly to Addison and she was grudgingly welcomed into the family. Marco had always been strange towards Addison, almost falling over himself to make her feel welcome and defending her from Adeline. Her parents killer was never found, and Marco did have a well known but never talked about drinking problem...Alexander went to college to become a writer and shunned is mothers plans for him to enter politics. His parents accepted with ill grace. It was made clear to Alexander that the families hopes now rested on his little sister, Adrina. He wasn’t expected to amount to much.  Through much strife and arguing, both families came together for a small but lavish wedding to celebrate 7 years of love. Hopefully, the sins of the past won’t come back to shadow the future.

Just a look into the glam maximalist apartment I’m building for my spoiled, rich club rat character Charlie. She’s a trust fund kid who’s turned her glam life into profit by becoming an influencer. She’s basically the exact opposite of me in every way and so i love her. She’s my id given form haha.

Looks like she managed to snag Charlie Harrell, wild child heiress and influencer, most recently known for her scandal involving her fathers pharmacuetical company We caught up with her about her look, the mysterious woman on her arm, and motherhood!?

“Charlie, you look incredible! The MET is always a chance for designers to push boundaries, can you tell us about your look?” “Of course Jessica, I’d love to! fake titter Time is a concept that I’ve often felt personally betrayed by, but after talking with my designer, I’ve got a whole new outlook.” “Many ancient religions saw time as a circle, a wheel endlessly turning upon itself. A powerful symbol of womanhood associated with that was the triple goddess, the maiden, the mother, and the crone. Today I’ve chosen to represent the crone, a powerful figure representing female wisdom and the slowing down of life. She was often used as a sign of winter, when the world slept.” “Wow, powerful message, and I can safely say I’d never think of you as a crone! deep guffaws at her own wit. Speaking of maidens, who is the lovely lady here with you tonight?”

“Jessica, this is my gorgeous partner Samira Mahboub, who is representing the maiden. The maiden is the spring, the bursting forth of life and fertility. She is what becomes of the crone after the long sleep of winter.” “What a female power couple you two make! Do you think we will be seeing the Mother anytime soon?” Everyone in hearing range is overcome with a grotesque grimace reminiscent of a smile. “Samira, what’s it like dating the resident bad girl of simstagram?

Genuine nervous laugh “Before I met Charlie I’d heard all the awful things about her, but when I finally met her face to face I couldn’t believe she was the same person everyone was talking about. I feel so lucky to know her and be with her, and see the amazing, funny person she is inside. As for the Mother, I think it will be some time before she’s represented!” More laughter “Oh and I have to give credit to our amazing designers and their teams, @mmsims​ and @mablystore​, as well as support from @erschsims​ and others! None of this would be possible without them. We’re really hoping for their sake to win best dressed.” “Well thank you two for speaking with us, I see your assistant waving you over to another reporter, so I’ll let you go! That was Charlie Harrell and her partner Samira Mahboub. Back to you Diane!”

Charlie Harrell and her new lady love appeared relaxed and casual at the after party. Samira had lost the lavender wig and traded it in for a close cut lavender jumpsuit. Paired with vibrant green stilettos and earrings, her look managed to be clean and fresh.  Charlie was abnormally subdued in a strapping black number with glitter accents. Today we caught up with up and comer in the Del Sol Valley scene, Eric Hirsh. He invited us into his home to talk movies, love, and trying to potty train puppies. The full interview drops later this month, see a sneak preview on Eric’s audition process for xoxo/lee below!

1. have you read mr sallinger’s book? and what did you think about it? I have read it, and I have to admit when i first picked it up I wasn’t sure what I felt about it. However, Mr. Lee has a way of sucking the reader in and making his experiences relatible to all sims. I found myself really admiring the prose. 2. can you ride a motorcycle? At this, Eric chuckles and ducks his head bashfully.  I want to say I can, but how good I am at it may be in question. Let’s just say when I had to ride one for my role in Jackrabbit Wild, the crew groaned at the amount of takes. 3. are you ready to change your appearance to look more like the character? Of course, part of embodying a character for me is matching their appearance. 4. are you comfortable being nude in front of cameras? After this question, Eric grins. It took me a long time to get over certain body issues and feel comfortable being nude on screen, but I’m proud to say today I have no problems. 5. name one thing you would bring to the character? I...I had to do some soul searching in my youth, and a smarmy bravado hiding an aching emptiness is something I’m well familiar with.  @budgie2budgie
