Barioth is one of my favourite monsters. Definitely the most solid of the footed flying wyverns, imo.
Unhinged looking, brawny, stupidly fast and outright lethal nearly, especially Frostfang. Sucks that the theme didn't return in Iceborne, but I hope it does if he comes back in Wilds.
Today on "BGMs I Miss" is "Subzero White Knight" from Monster Hunter Tri. The title implies it's Barioth's personal theme but it isn't carried over to other games, which is a shame. Barioth

It may sound like I'm flexing and maybe I am. Been playing MHWorld and finally got geared enough to fight Fatalis, that guy hits like a truck still, so he is my most difficult monster to this day although he is World's final boss so it would be easy for him to get that spot. But going back, the first difficult monster I had was Barroth on Monster Hunter Tri, he taught me when's the right time to sharpen lest you want to end up like fine tapestry.

The most difficult monster to hunt is Rajang. God, what a crazy super saiyan monkey.
