With further research, these leaked panels seem to be faked and made by the artist Nandry.And looking even further, it would explain why only one panel and cover is leaked but also why its in English( the artist speaks French and English) instead of Japanese like the other leaks that recently came out.
I haven’t seen any on here yet, mostly on Twitter, and I might get some hate for this so I’m gonna try to be as clear and precise as possible, but:
The jokes about Izuku becoming a line cook because he can’t be a hero, because he can’t do anything else, actually make me fucking ill
Not the jokes themselves, I guess. But just the way they’re treated. Just. Considering that the wider fandom considers what this world's equivalent to a disabled person being "useless" and only good for a service job flipping burgers, which is often looked down on as being a "lowly" job (not that I, myself, consider food service industry jobs to be lowly, y’all are the strongest motherfuckers out there, but that’s not what’s being portrayed here)
In a world full of casual superpowers, even if it doesn't influence too heavily on their surroundings, a quirkless person is disabled... Or, at least, they aren't fully able. Quirks have become so deeply ingrained in everyone's lives, to the point where we see everybody casually using their quirk. Inko uses her telekinesis to float small objects towards her; Momo creates a lighter during the training camp; Tokoyami uses Dark Shadow as an extension of himself; Katsuki tries to light a fire also during the training camp, implying he's done something similar beforehand; etc etc etc…
Implying that all a disabled person is good for is a service job, and implying that they shouldn’t strive for more, is fucking gross and it makes me genuinely nauseous.
No doubt, I’m reading way too much into this, but I really fucking need people to think about this more. It’s gross. It’s so gross.
