Well people said that it make more sense to let Godrick calls Margit/Morgott as great-uncle, and it reminds me of grunkle Stan, also makes me want to draw them in Gravity Falls' art style... So I did😉👌

and sorry it didn't look as good as I thought but I tried my best😭it's so hard to make Margit looks like Gravity Falls character😔

Morgott is the frist demigod you find in Limgrave, and if you choose to have some braincells and explore the rest of Limgrave; You'll have npcs talk about him and how you should fight him.

Now I did just that on my first playthrough and I got WRECKED. Despite having ten hours in and a bleed build, it was like a year since I last played a fromsoftware game (last time was dark souls 1 before that) and I played it like Dark souls 1 instead of playing it like Elden ring. Now because I enjoyed everything else so far I didn't want to give up yet so I was grinding my ass off in order to beat Margit.

When I tell you I finally did it was when we both died at the same time but the game registered him dying and I was so happy after banging my head against a wall for like six hours trying to beat him.

Anyway, fast forward in my first playthrough when I got to Lyndell and I saw his crusty toes again, I knew I was going to have to fight him again and I was ready to get my revenge (and get demolished again) Except, I beat Morgott in like less then ten tries. Then I thought about the rest of the game and I realised that because I was getting swept by Margit so hard I learned how to play the game. I learned how to dodge and have fast enough reflexes for every single other boss in the game that I never had to look up a guide again (thats a lie I looked up a guide for rennala, radahn and elden beast but shhhh)

Anyway after I read his remembrance of him protecting the erdtree but not being loved back I was really sad that my fluffy friend who hates me has a sad backstory so I looked into his lore.

I found how he was kept in a sewer and I was sad as hell but it also gave me more of a reason to beat up Marika(Radagon) up so....

Anyway lore wise, Morgott is the opposite of Mohg who everyone knows I ramble about; He wears Rags, has low self esteem, struggles with being the hornsent/omen king of Lyndell, and so on.

He learned to love what hated him, and because of that in death he is granted a death as a human by the greater will hence why he looks like a dried raisin when you kill him.

My headcanon Margit is a tired old man who's borderline insane and feeds squirrels all day. He collects rocks and makes art out of them in random places that people sometimes find. He enjoys talking to plants because he's a blissful loner and is actually fearful of human beings, not just because he could accidentally step on them but also because humans are just downright frightening. He is most intrigued about the simple things in life and is incredibly and adorably verbose when asked to explain them

Long story short, my headcanon Margit is happy

Had a dream last night about a third omen brother that really was a twin to Margit but his name was Marmot and he had a blue eye (like Ranni) instead of a yellow one. He was afraid of EVERYTHING and actually wanted to stay in those sewers away from all the danger and Margit didn't approve so he dragged him to the surface to go crusading with him and then got REALLY pissed off when Marmot proposed befriending Radahn.. Mohg was there too but he was just this silent protagonist in the background that was lowkey ominous. He didn't speak not once

Mohg - the cool language arts teacher that hosts dark plays for fun

Margit - the history teacher who takes his job way too seriously

Messmer - the science teacher with all the snakes

Malenia - the math teacher who ominously tells you you're about to fail her class

Godrick - that crazy ass PE teacher who encourages infanticide via dodgeball

Radahn - the slightly less unhinged PE teacher who's mere presence deters the class from misbehaving

Rykard - the art teacher who's low-key mentally unstable but has genuine good advice

Rennala - the astronomy teacher who's Hella sweet but kooky af and comes to school dressed like an ancient faith healer (she offers the students tea during class)

Maliketh - the chemistry teacher that sets students on fire to make an example

Godskin Duo - the *other* PE teachers who let the class go full on lord of the flies as they watch from the background
