Once upon a time an ancient, nameless skykid made friends with a moth. That moth asked them, “what’s your name?” They pondered a moment, then replied, “I forgot”. The moth, somewhat dense, inquired in a confused voice: “Iforgot? What an odd name. I’ll just call you Ifor”.
Seasons passed. Long after said moth had grown up, sacrificed countless lifetimes, and eventually faded into nothingness, another moth lit that weary skykid’s candle and asked, “what’s your name?” That skykid answered after a brief moment: “You can call me Ifor.”
Ifor is a gratitude kid, and has been around for countless seasons. While most skykids of their age have long since faded into nothingness, they somehow never managed to. And so, they pass their time by seeking thrill wherever they can - anything to impede the boredom, be it dodging krills, purposefully getting krilled, exploring out of bounds, worshipping AURORA, or half-heartedly following along the seasons.
They own a vast collection of cosmetics, and often are seen passing their time by switching up their look. Most often though, they wear their signature tattered dark robe with black boots (halloween pants), and sometimes season of duet’s sleeveless grey pants. Their cape is that of a manta they hunted themselves, and it serves to attract krill’s attention. The krill horn they carry on their back is also used to summon krills. Quite often though, they carry a musical instrument (such as the e-guitar, violin, or piano) in its stead. They’ve had ample time to practice various instruments to perfection.
Due to the constant negative energy surrounding them, and the countless amount of times they’ve lost their light, darkness has started growing on their body. It recedes and progresses like the tide, but most often it can be found on their head and face. Everytime they get reborn, their darkness is cleansed, but their darkness can also wither and die when they experience positive emotions. Positive emotions always come from forming bonds with moths, but it’s only a matter of time before the moth fades and their darkness grows back stronger.
Morally they are ambivalent, their mood changing unpredictably. They will often help redirect krills from other skykids by taking it head on, but sometimes will also lead a krill over to target another skykid just for the sake of it.
Currently, ifor is quite happy as they’ve made some new friends. Only time will tell if these will stay, but ifor has a feeling that at least one of them might. Said skykid is my irl partner’s character, and I very much enjoy drawing ifor with some of the ice melting from their demeanor (soft blushing ifor is my new obsession)
I hope this satisfies your curiosity! Ifor is probably the oc with the most lore I’ve made so far, besides my last skykid oc from like 2020, but i feel much more personally connected to Ifor because I based them off of my own playstyle of the game.
I’ve been playing sky since its release in July 2019, and I’ve had phases where I’ve gotten so tired of it, but just couldn’t quit for real cause of all the time and money I’d spent on it and all the fond memories I’d made (plus the game is just so pretty). I wanted to imagine how those feelings would translate to the character I’m playing as - I imagine they’d be amplified by a lot, so me wanting to quit the game became my skykid wanting to quit life, essentially. Fun stuff, fun stuff. And I do love to be the krill bait when doing wasteland quests with other ppl, so that part is pretty accurate too. And I’m also absolutely in love with the aurora concert and her music in general.
The only inaccurate part may be the “practicing to perfection” - I definitely know my way around the in game instrument mechanics but I’m no where near as good as some of those sky musicians out there hahaha, I do enjoy playing it though.

Hey Tumbler!!!! This is my first actual post lol, and I wanted to make it me info dumping :3. This is all stuff I wrote about one of my OCs and I hope yall love her as much as I do
(PS there is some swearing so, yeah :D)
Her name is Penny (short for Penelope (NOT IT IS NOT A EPIC REFERENCE)) She/Her and she is a “Straight Christian girl” who just so *happens* to have a “special interest” in the HOTTEST girl in school. She lived her life normally, going to school, getting *average* grades, she when to church on Sunday, the whole chick and kabotal :3. Uhhhhhhhhhhhh, she’s in band (cause of course, what do you take me for? A MONSTER?) and she plays flute :D. She had both of her parents together still, a younger brother named David, and a dog named Goober. You could say she basically had a perfect life, to her it was that at least. She had lots of friends, right? I mean, she was basically one of the most popular girls in school. Well, everyone did know penny, and she was the most popular girl in school for YEAR, until one new girl transferred to their high school. Piper was her name, and DAMN did she gain traction fast. She was initially accepted onto the cheerleading team (that didn’t matter to penny as she was in the marching band ✊) and all of the students started paying attention to HER instead of penny. And Penny was 👏M👏A👏D👏. Don’t get me wrong, she has always been in and out of popularity, but something about piper just, AH, but she did know what. After many months of just HATING Piper, she went to go talk to her priest about it. The priest, sounding a bit off from usual, gives her a drink the he says will “calm her down”. She, being told by her mother to always trust the priest, drink the gold-ish drink. Penny feels, find ig? She still DEFINITELY hates Piper, but like, it’s not like a hate hate anymore? She doesn't know how to describe it fully. Anyways she goes home, just, feeling normal per usual. She has dinner with her family, she showers, brushes her teeth, does her whole routine. Something was a little off tho when she started brushes her teeth thought. She had a, tail? No that couldn’t be, she look behind her and it wasn't there. She look back in the mirror and IT WAS THERE AGAIN. “WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON” she said to herself. Just thinking she was so exhausted, she went to bed soundly. The next day she got up LATE in the day. Luckily it was the weekend, so she didn’t really mind. She looked at her alarm clock and it was…. 16:00!!!! JESUS, she normally wakes up at 11 at the latest in the weekends, BUT 4 PM?!?!?!?! She rushed to her bathroom, hoping she wasn't just going crazy, (and to absolutely NO ONES SURPRISE) she looked in the mirror, and her worst nightmare came true. She was a DEMON! She had two long red horns, two scaly wings the size of her arms, and still from yesterday, her tail. She SCREAMED, almost shattering the mirror. Her mother ran upstairs, “honey are you ok?” Said her mom, looking like she just say a ghost. “I’m hideous, oh my god I’m discussing” Penny repeated what felt like a million times. Penny's parents not knowing what the hell to do, take her to the church as that was the last place Penny went to before she went back home. They burst through the church doors, yelling for the priest to help them with there daughter who is sobbing her eyes off. The priest came running out. “Let me take her to the back, I can help her there. You will have to stay here” he states to them, still not fully sounding like himself. He probably just has a cold everyone has been thinking. The priest takes Penny to the back of the church. She stops fully crying, only having a few tears left in her eyes, only to see a SATANIC CIRCLE ON THE GROUND. What was the priest was now a full on demon, looking like he was about to sacrifice Penny! “WAIT, NO PLEASE STOP” she screaming at the demon. “Ooooooooo, so your a screamer huh? The boss is gonna like you” Penny is in absolute shock. The demon can talk? What dose he mean screamer? WHAT BOSS? SATIAN? “WAIT NO, ILL DO ANYTHING, PLEASE” she screams, what feels as if she is ripping her vocal cords apart. The demon freezes, and slowly turns his head towards Penny, with the worlds biggest smirk as if this wasn't his first time doing something like this

Hi allllllll, I’m back 😎. I know it’s been like, 5 minutes lol but I have a bunch of stuff I have saved that I just can NOT wait to share, so here’s some more lore dumpage XP
So this is cooper, he’s transmasc and a bisexual ICON. He’s very silly and very goober. He’s very smart, logistically, but if you dare put a book in front of him, he might pass out. He’s not dyslexic, he just is rebellious and does NOT like school what’s so ever. He’s parents divorced when he was 7 and he when with his dad. When he got old and figured out he was trans, he came out to both of his parents. When he came out to his dad (Mark) and his step-mom (Jessica) they both support him and helped him socially transition in school and everything. But when he came out to his mom (Jennifer) she. Freaked. The. Fuck. OUT. She kept saying all the things you’ve heard “you’ll always be my daughter” “you need Jesus to help you”. If you couldn’t tell after that, Cooper, Jessica, AND EVEN MARK (Mark is a sweetheart and only divorced because Jenifer did some nasty shit once, but he forgave and forgot) cut contact with her. Back to Cooper as a person now lol. He’s very chill, moves with the flow. Very much ADHD lol, I don’t think he could stay still for two seconds with out his headphones. He’s in band (ofc) and plays the Trombone (yes it’s bass bone). He’s a smart cookie for sure, but if you put him in a math class, he won’t even have to pay attention and he can pass. Even tho he didn’t like, talk in any of his classes, some how he started talking with his math teacher (idk which one, dosent matter) Mrs. S, and they clicked. When ever Cooper needed Mrs.S was there (Mrs.S is a lesbian >:3) uhhhhhhhh, what else? OH, he plays dnd and is a fucking nerd about it, istg he has like 50 dice sets. He’s BIG into nat geo and animals etc. etc.

This is, well, it was never given a name really. But the people around it called it savage, so its name must be savage :D. It uses It/Its pronouns and is Ace.
Savage was raised in a humble house hold, and it had super loving guardians. Atleast, that’s what it was told by them. It was raised to be a super natural fighter from day one, and was punished if it did almost anything wrong (brutally punished).
When it became about 9 or 10, it’s male guardian brought it to a rocky hole in the planet. It is told to dig into the ground. At first, it didn’t know what to do, it didn’t know what “digging” was. So it was torchered and whipped for hours until it broke one of the walls in the lower part of the hole, reveling a shiny yellow gem.
The men around it screamed and hollared, and savage went into a panic attack. Whenever it heard loud noises, it knew it was going to get hurt. It has enacted its flight or fight response. So it ran and hid, for hours and hours. After about 4 days, Savage was finally found, and was again, torchered.
After many years of this, Savage got used to its daily events. It would get fed one piece of bread every 12 hours, once at sunrise and once at sunset. During those 12 hours, Savages would work and break stone while the men watched and whipped it. And sunset, the men would leave and leave Savages to sleep in gravel.
Once Savage was about 17, one random morning, the men didn’t show up to feed it. It, being hungry, tried to yell for help, only to realize that it could badly whimper. The only thing around it was the rocks, the chains bounding it to the hole, and the cloths on its back.
It didn’t know what to do, so it waited. And waited. And waited. After 72 hours of sitting there, hoping someone would come. It snapped, litterly. It stands up, and tries to rip the chains off, doing so with ease. So now, not know what to do, it heads off, seeking for help.
Notes on Cryas Chronicles
I want to go over some notes regarding the setting of the mythos of Cryas Chronicles as it is my creation, and little would be known unless you could read my thoughts.
So first of all, what is Cryas Chronicles? 🔷Cryas Chronicles is the name I give for this series that houses the reality of my OCs. This has been something in the works for well over +10 years at the time of typing this and is still ongoing in terms of development. It has been going through a number of restructuring processes. Originally, the idea of the series was the idea of a video game tetralogy, but I have since abandoned that idea. Now, it is just a series. It is intended to have storylines that spans over many years, generally following a cast of characters, somewhat changing the core cast of each story/saga as needed.
What is the setting of Cryas Chronicles? 🔷 The series takes place in a universe different from our own and one of the Cryas Darkstalkers mythos. The first story, Vicissitude Journey, takes place in a world where two planets are interconnected via a spacetime distortion. They are known as 'Umbralus' and 'Illumalus'. However, later on other worlds are brought into the mix as the series progresses. As of now, other worlds or realms that exist in this reality are: Jrukoshn Relm, Avalos, Sylverra. More will be added as needed.
What are some of the races that exist in these worlds? 🔷 As of right now they are the following: Umbrian, Illumin, Aunakin, Corrian, Jrukoshn, Avalocian, Hemo'eira, Celestian.
What are some differences between this reality and ours? 🔷For this, I will compare this reality to the Cryas Darkstalkers reality.
A year in the Cryas Chronicles reality is the equivalent of 400 Earth Days. While some realms have their own 'year' system based on their approximation to their star, the universal acceptance is 400 solar days equals a year. A solar day is accepted as 24 hours. The general calendar system is 12 months: 8 months have 33 days with 4 months with 34 days. The 4 months with 34 days generally are the month with signaled changes in the seasons of Autumn, Winter, Spring, and Summer. A big thing to take from this is that when I give the age of characters from this reality, that is based on this year system, so it will not be accurate to ages we use in our reality or in the Cryas DS reality.
Earth and humans don't exist in the Cryas Chronicles universe. That goes without saying, but this also means that without humans being a thing, certain terms don't exist in this reality. 'Humane' and 'inhumane' are examples of words that don't exist. Also, rather than me using the term 'humanoid' I will default to the terms of either 'intelligent liferforms', and other descriptors that don't involve the word 'human'.
Magic is generally accepted thing with many societies. Magic in this reality is understood generally as the ability to manipulate different forms of energy. It is something that has been able to coexist with science. While not everyone is capable of wielding magic, most can use it to some degree if they put some effort into it. Some are more naturally gifted.
Many cryptids don't exist in this reality. The concept of stuff like the undead, vampires, mummies, and many things do not exist in this reality compared to the Cryas DS one. However, the idea and existence of souls, spirits, and ghosts are a thing, just not generally accepted thing. It varies between different cultures.
That should hopefully give some context to things since I did share that blog earlier of the main cast for Cryas Chronicles: Vicissitude Journey.

Hsien-Ko and Mei-Ling Lore Bits 2
Hsien-Ko and Mei-Ling are polylingual. Both sisters are fluent in Manchu (their first language), Mandarin, Cantonese, and English.🗺️
Mei-Ling can also understand well enough Burmese, German, Spanish, and Japanese. This comes down to mostly because of allies and friends over the years who speak these languages.
Both sisters can read the writings of the Crylesh and Ech Tung languages.
Both sisters have an accent to the way they speak outside of their native Manchu. However, due to being alive for so many decades and exposed to many cultures in their travels, they are fully capable of masking their accents when needed.
When speaking with each other, Hsien-Ko and Mei-Ling will default to Manchu.
During their travels, Hsien-Ko likes to wind down by doing a bit of artistic hobbies. From ink sketches to wood carving, Mei-Ling likes to see her sister find a way to express herself and encourages her.🎨
Yes, Hsien-Ko will have her big sis be a model for her when she wants to practice painting people. As her skills and techniques developed, her paintings of her sister got more and more beautiful. This makes Mei-Ling very bashful of seeing herself being painted in such a way. 😊
The coffin that Hsien-Ko and Mei-Ling use can fly relatively quicky. However, it is limited by the energy that Mei-Ling can put into it via her Qi. To combat this, Mei-Ling goes through exercises of a mental and physical nature to help her.
Via training, she is able to further efficiently channel her Qi to help fly the coffin for longer periods of time. Of course, there are nights where Hsien-Ko will let Mei-ling rest so she can build up energy for when it is needed.
Also, Hsien-Ko pulling the coffin still helps her build up strength and stamina as the bed/storage unit of the Shao Sisters is still heavy. Plus, she wants to help her sister out whenever possible plus see the sights of the world as they explore.
There are the rare times when Mei-Ling will pull the coffin herself by hand. While not able to pull it physically for the long distances that Hsien-Ko can, it is needed when going through a settlement. Plus, further helps her build stamina and strength.💪
Sometimes, Mei-Ling will do it purely to help her train when she and Hsien-Ko are already far out of the range of human settlements. Hsien-Ko will cheer on her big sister, which Mei-Ling appreciates.😆🙌
Cryas Darkstalkers Cast Bits
So, I only really have designs for the characters I have shown via lore blogs. However, I already do have thoughts for many of the other cast. So rather than wait till I have designs to make longer lore blogs, I'll give brief snippets about how each have changed for the mythos and their general role.
Jon Talbain:
He is still a werewolf, born in the wilderness of the northern forests of the United Kingdom.
His father is still Baraba Kreutz, while his mother now has a name: Cathwulf Talbain. Cathwulf has a pet dog, an Airedale Terrier known as Norward.
He still has an ordeal of being unable to fully control his werewolf form. It is via the help of many of the years that he eventually can learn to control his Qi and control his bestial form.
He will have a fairly northern accent thanks to his mother.
He does learn martial arts from a Japanese master he finds in the mountains of the main European continent. The master does go by the name of Gallon.
He does eventually become friends with Felicia and becomes a relative mainstay in the Rose household from his travels. Their relationship is strictly platonic, despite Ramona making sly remarks about Jon being a fine man for her daughter.
Victor Von Gerdenheim:
Victor's 'birth' year is changed to 1831. No current month or date as of yet.
Honestly, aspects of his lore are inspired by the story he had from the Udon mythos. One of the very few things I can praise about those comics.
Professor Gerdenheim sees Emily and Victor as not only his creations, but also his children. He wishes to use his knowledge to further improve them, especially Emily since her 'heart' is defective compared to Victor's.
He and Emily both speak fluent Germen, but eventually learn English. Victor does tend to talk in the third person, but eventually learns to better improve his speech over the decades.
After the events of Victor and Emily's introduction into the mythos, their goals both involve making their father proud in their own ways. Victor wishes to get strong to help protect the village and his big sister from those who would cause harm. Emily wishes to follow in her father's footsteps to continue his research so that one day his studies could be fully realized and help the people.
Demitri Maximoff:
He is born in Makai.
He plays an antagonistic role, generally being a menace and nuisance to the various protagonists in the Cryas Darkstalkers mythos and eventually to even a few individuals from the Cryas Chronicles reality.
After his failed coup against Belial, he, his castle, and those in it were banished to Earth as a sign of humiliation and contempt for the vampire lord. Not only that, but the vampires who remained in Makai were under heavy watch.
However, there was another added thing in Cryas Darkstalkers. Belial cursed Demitri that so long as he lived, Demitri's power would always never be able to reach its full potential no matter how blood he consumed. Not only that, but he couldn't pass through the Gate to return to Makai.
With no knowledge of the curse, Demitri's time on Earth is spent trying to feebly regain his power and more to once again rechallenge Belial. However, he does seek to try and make a base of operation on Earth.
Despite not being at his full power, he still proves to be quite a powerful creature of the night.
His hatred of Belial extends to Morrigan. In essence, those who bear the family name of Aensland are his mortal enemies and must be crushed under his heel so he can take the throne and power of the ruler of Makai.
He does still have his harem of women. They are Patricia, Elizabeth, Francoise and Angelica. They are the ones that he gives the best treatment to in regard to their duties him compared to all his 'loyal' subjects.
His clothing is gonna be changed. Despite my desire to make fun of Demitri and see him as this dumb onion head, I will take him seriously enough in my mythos. Thus, no skintight clothing. It was and still is stupid looking.
Despite being a Makain by birth, I will likely try to design him with some sense of coding to a region on Earth. For exactly where, I still need to think about that.
While he does speak in a way to give a sense of regality to his mannerisms, he is not above going more brutish and animalistic in his tone when the time calls for it.
Zabel Zarock:
His birth year will be completely different to better match the idea of when he rose to stardom as a metal musician. For now, a current year of 1968 is in mind.
He is born in Australia, but this time will have an accent and speech mannerism to match that along with his cultural love of metal.
He becomes a zombie at a relatively young age, in his early 20s.
Despite the short time span of becoming a zombie, he amasses power at an unbelievable rate.
He begrudgingly works under Ozom, with Le Malta being Ozom's middleman to insure Zabel upholds his end of the bargain.
Despite Le Malta's initial role, he actually grows to have a good friendly, brother like relation to Zabel. Zabel does treat him like he would anybody else but does grow to like his company.
Lord Raptor was his stage name when he performed. He still goes by that name a lot during his concerts as a zombie and when out killing for souls. Only a few people are aware of his real name of Zabel Zarock.
NO, he and Hsien-Ko are not a couple in this mythos. However, I would like to give an idea of what I plan. This next bullet point will be longer, but I need to stress this very badly.
Upon his first encounter with the sisters in the brush of Australia, he merely saw Hsien-Ko as just another jobber out to kill him. A buzzkill basically. Despite being stronger than her, something about her willingness to keep fighting despite being badly injured and losing sparked something in his heart and mind. Her ferocious fighting spirit lit a flame in him that made him respect her and even grow to find this sheila as quite the catch. He would throw the battle to let her 'win' and eventually make his escape after teasing her with his honest answer as to why he allowed her to live and win. I want to explore the idea of his crush on Hsien-Ko being built on his respect for her after that first encounter. While the sisters clearly would want him dead since he is a murderous menace, the dude proves to be too slippery to fully kill. If anything, he basically likes to annoy her when he can come across Hsien-Ko. Not only to see her react but catch more glimpses of her.
Zabel is basically a chaotic antagonist. While he generally is a terrible individual, he is quite the goober with how he just lives by his own rules. However, there will be times where he does lend a hand to Hsien-Ko based on the circumstances. It is not often but does occur.
After his first encounter with the Shao sisters, he has no intention to harm or kill Hsien-Ko. By proxy, this is the same for Mei-Ling, but only because she is related to Hsien-Ko.
He wants to gain enough power to kill Ozom so he can be free from him and just go about living his undead life his own way. He does hope that maybe in time, perhaps he could even somehow get his sheila to aid him in killing Ozom.
Sasquatch:
His father is the leader of their tribe and is known as Tundra.
Their tribe is located in the artic regions of northern Canada.
The Bigfoot race once lived in Makai, but eventually left via a gate that no longer is active. The original location of the gate that brought their ancestors to this land is regarded as a sacred place and holds major cultural significance.
I am still uncertain how big of a character and role he will play in the overall mythos, but the sisters do encounter him and the Bigfoot during their travels through the North American continent.
Rikuo:
I'll be honest, I don't really have anything in mind. He will get a redesign and his people will live near the region of Brazil. But overall, the merkin and Rikuo play no major role. Just will do things to build the world and stuff.
Oh, I guess I will refer to his race as Merkin. I could say Merfolk, but I already refer to Felicia's race as Catfolk. So, want to spread things out with my vernacular.
Anakaris:
Same as Rikuo, but I do at least have a story event in mind with him. But again, he is a minor character in the grand scheme of things.
Likely, time travel will be eliminated from his lore since I do not want to deal with such story elements. But still, Anakaris will be quite the powerful pharaoh.
And yes, he still has commandments.
Okay, I think I will stop here for now. Just give you a taste of lore cast bits. I'll give some more at a later date. Feel free to ask any questions and I'll be happy to elaborate. 😉
Lore Bits: Of samurai and bees
Have had some thoughts lately about two different characters and wish to now share with ya'll what I have crafted for Cryas Darkstalkers lore within this installment of Lore Bits. Today's focus will be on the cursed samurai, Bishamon and the demon bee, Q-Bee.
Bishamon:
Born on January 18th, 1673, during the Edo Period of Japan in the northern region of what would become the Aomori Prefecture.
'Bishamon' is actually not his name. This samurai's true name is Zenbē (善兵衛).
Being a samurai, he was part of a clan. His clan was know as the Tsugaru Clan (津軽氏)
Thus, his full name would be Zenbē Tsugaru (津軽 善兵衛, Tsugaru Zenbē).
He would eventually marry a woman who went by the name, Orin (オリン).
An accomplished and skillful warrior, he was well respected as a force of nature on the battlefield with his tactics, keen eyes, and mastery of his arsenal. Despite many battles, he had managed to live quite a long life by the standards of Japanese at the time. However, a life-changing event would occur in 1722 when he was age 49.
The enemy of his clan, the Nanbu Clan, were making their way into Tsugaru territory, seeking to conquer.
Initially, Zenbē's clan had sent the younger blood to fight. Despite some initial success, the tides were turning in favor for the Nanbu. As word of the ever-snowballing losses for the Tsugaru kept coming in, Zenbē grew worried for not only his people, but especially Orin.
One night, he had a dream where the voice of two spirits sought to provide him with the answer he needed. Upon waking up, he went to the location without telling anyone where he was heading.
Trekking up a mountain, Zenbē happened on the ruins of a monastery. Within, as told by the spirits in his dream, he came upon an armor and blade. While the armor looked intimidating and something within him felt uneasy, the promise of becoming an unstoppable warrior who could save his clan from ruin clouded his judgement. Aware of his age and too worried for his wife and people, he donned the armor and blade.
Immediately, the demonic influence of the pair, Hannya and Kien, began taking hold of Zenbē. With the promise of battle, they initially allowed Zenbē to keep control. Going into a battle that was going on, the Nanbu forces were slaughtered by Zenbē as their arrows couldn't stop him and their weapons bounced off him.
However, after the battle was won, Hannya and Kien would take control. Turning on his fellow Tsugaru kin, the demonic kinnies began a murderous rampage to quench their thirst for blood and souls. Seeing what he was doing, Zenbē desperately tried to regain control, but was powerless.
In time as they slowly began their spree of terror, Zenbē would begin to have his mind be clouded by the kinnies. However, one key moment would allow him to almost regain control.
When Zenbē came across a familiar building, he happened upon his wife. In the fog of his mind, he realized what was going on and tried to stop as his memories of Orin were coming to the forefront of his mind. However, he would kill his wife. As the pair were about to consume her soul, Zenbē's sheer rage and grief allowed him to regain control. However, it would not last as the kinnies, in a last-ditch effort for survival, sought to quell their host. Promising him that they would keep her safe within, allowing the two to stay together. This allowed them to regain control. Hannya and Kien would not seek to double cross on their word, only to make sure that an outburst like that would not happen again.
Upon coming across a temple and seeing inscriptions about the deity, Bishamon, the kinnies sought to rename their host to Bishamon. Their idea was to strike fear into the mortals with the idea that this god of war now walks among them, seeking only for their blood and souls.
This rampage would go on across Japan and eventually make way into China from 1722 till 1807.
After an intense battle with the demon of the east, Hsien-Ko and Mei-Ling unknowingly freed Zenbē and Orin from their imprisonment after defeating 'Bishamon'.
Despite effort by Hsien-Ko to break the kinnies by sheer force and Mei-Ling using her Xiānshù arts to banish them, nothing either sister did worked.
Hannya and Kien, per an idea by Zenbē, would be sealed in a tomb among the eerie, volcanic landscape of Mount Osore. With the idea in place, Mei-Ling was able to at least place many talismans upon the kinnies to quell their ability to seek a new host.
Upon making way to Japan and traveling to Mount Osore, a tomb at the highest, most dangerous peak was dug up. The sealed Hannya and Kien were placed deep within and the tomb was promptly sealed
From then on, Zenbē sought to dedicate the rest of his time to seeking a way to permanently destroy the pair as a way to redeem his soul from the horrors he committed upon the innocent. Orin would stick by him to aid in his goal.
While his wife and the sisters would call him by his true name of Zenbē. he decided that as penance, he would keep the mantle of Bishamon as to not tarnish his clan, nor name, any further that he already did with his foolish decision he made all those years ago.
Before I explain about Q-Bee, I must first explain more about Soul Bees as a species/race in Cryas Darkstalkers.
Soul Bees are a race of lifeforms that evolved from a species of Makaiin bees many eons ago. Makaiin bees were a parasitic, solitary species that sought to infect hosts in order to reproduce. However, a mutation occurred that paved the way for the evolution of Soul Bees of the current day.
Soul Bees are a eusocial race that work together for the good of the hive. Among their structure are three sub-species: D-Bees, P-Bees, and the Q-Bee.
D-Bees:
D-Bees, ranging in heights of 1ft to 2ft play the role of scout, hunter, and gatherer of the hive. They scour the territory in order to gain information to inform the hive. Information is not the only thing they seek as they also hunt down a valuable resource: souls.
If a suitable prey is found, the D-Bee will use their speed, venom, stingers, and claws to kill their prey. They do not seek to confront above their weight class as they must manage their energy output properly.
Once victorious, the D-Bee consumes the body and then gathers the soul to keep safe for transportation to the hive. The soul is kept in a specialized organ in their abdomen.
In the time between scouting and hunting, D-Bees will also seek flowers in order to gain nutrients to help fuel their bodies. This allows them to be pollinators in Makai, allowing for a large variety of flora to grow.
Can live for about a few years.
P-Bees:
P-Bees, standing around 3ft to 4ft, take on a number of roles in the hive, from maintenance, caretakers of the brood, defenders of the hive, and distributors of food supplies.
In their role of maintenance, P-Bees will make repairs and improvements to the hive. They make sure everything is sturdy enough for food storage, a 'nursery' for the brood, and for the Q-Bee. The hive is constructed from a specialized mixture of saliva, pollen resin, natural wax produced by D-Bees, and sediment from the surrounding area. While the outside primarily uses sediment for a tougher structure, the inside for the comb structures used to store the brood and food supplies use the other listed materials to allow for some flexibility, while being strong enough to withstand their weight.
The eggs, larvae, and pupae make up what are known as the brood. These are cared for by the P-Bees as to ensure the population is maintained for the good of the hive. When the Q-Bee has laid her batch of eggs, the P-Bees will gather them and place them in special combs so they can be kept safe till they hatch. From there, they are cleaned and fed by the P-Bees till they eventually become new D-Bees and P-Bees.
Built stronger and sturdier than D-Bees, the P-Bees are capable of defending the hive should a curiously hungry predator seek a meal. They have stingers and claws, but unlike D-Bees, fully have the support of the hive close-by, along with food supplies to keep them energized. P-Bees seek to kill when the hive is threatened. When victorious, the prey, along with fallen P-Bees, are consumed for nourishment. Any souls are given to the Q-Bee.
Gathering the honey produced by the Q-Bee, this substance is stored in specialized combs around the hive. The P-Bees are tasked with feeding the entire hive, making sure everyone gets their share of this highly nutritious substance.
Lifespan of about a few decades.
Q-Bee:
Standing at a titan 8ft to 9ft tall, the Q-Bee is the heart of the hive. She plays an important role in the repopulation of the hive and the reason the species are known as 'Soul Bees'.
When D-Bees comeback with souls or P-Bees manage to defend the hive and get souls out of the endeavor, all souls are given to the Q-Bee. Ingesting the souls, Q-Bees begin a specialized process in breaking down the soul in order to get at the unfathomable energy within.
While D-Bees and P-Bees can process stray spiritual energy for nourishment, their bodies are not capable of digesting a soul. Any attempt to do so would prove catastrophically fatal. However, the Q-Bee has evolved to not only do this safely, but efficiently.
The vast energy is used to feed the Q-Bee's ravenous need for energy to do several things: produce eggs, fuel her body so she can digest more souls, and create a viscous substance used to feed the hive known as honey. The honey of Soul Bees is packed with an immense of energy and the nutrients P-Bees, D-Bees, and the brood need to survive and thrive.
While the rest of the hive will put their lives on the line, should a powerful threat start to prove too much, the Q-Bee will step in as the final line of defense. Despite her immense size, she is fully capable of flying with great speed and maneuverability.
Beyond her speed, she is equipped with claws, stingers, and venom like her fellow D-Bees and P-Bees. However, these are far more deadly with her sheer size and speed, allowing her to impale and tear with ferocity.
Another trait she has are specialized toxic scales that can be emitted from her wings. These scales can irritate the skin and lungs of victims.
The Q-Bee exoskeleton evolved to be extremely tough.
Using specialized signals via vibrations and pheromones, the Q-Bee can rally and fully control her hive to fight more effectively beyond their instincts.
Unlike the rest of her hive, the Q-Bee is the only one with a fully-fledged soul and thus the capability to think at an intellectual level beyond instinct. This allows her to plan and strategize.
The Q-Bee is the only one capable of speech and thus has the ability to talk with other lifeforms. In general, she can speak the Makaiin tongue to some degree.
Jedah managed to make contact with a Soul Bee hive millenia ago. He was curious about the ability of the Q-Bee to so easily reduced souls to tangible sources of nourishment. In studying her, he gained a better understanding of souls and thus his own being and ability to manipulate spiritual energy.
In return for allowing his studies, he granted them protection and a steady source of 'food' to maintain the hive.
When the time comes for the end of the Q-Bee's life, a signal is given to D-Bees to seek a suitable host. Prepping them with more honey than usual, D-Bees seek to find a competent host and bring them back to the hive alive. Once one is brought back, the host is paralyzed via a special venom. From there, the Q-Bee emerges to pierce the host and insert a special larva inside their still living body of the victim. From there, the Q-Bee dies. The body of the victim serves as an incubator and food source of the quickly growing larva. Once ready, the still growing Q-Bee will emerge from her incubator. The hive will then seek to care for the new Q-Bee till she has fully reached maturity within a few days of rapid growth and change. From there, she will then care for her hive and assume her role.
The soul of the past Q-Bee is used as the first soul to be consumed by the new Q-Bee to begin her role in creating a new brood and food for her hive.
In the chance a Q-Bee dies in combat, the soul of the Q-Bee will influence a P-Bee, likely the strongest, to undergo an extremely quick metamorphosis. While this will cause some of the food supply and fellow P-Bees and D-Bees to be consumed to fuel the transformation, once the P-Bee has transformed enough to become the new Q-Bee, the soul of the deceased Q-Bee will then feed herself to the new Q-Bee to allow for the extreme hunger to be quenched and to quickly get the hive back into healthy order.
Due to her role, the life span of the Q-Bee can be for around a century.

Oh no worries, I am happy to answer. 😄 In Cryas Darkstalkers, Felicia is fully intended to be Mexican: both her biological parents being of Mexican descent, but importantly her adopted mother, Ramona Rose, is a Mexican living in America. Thus, Felicia grew up with such a culture. As she grew up, she was an avid fan of the luchador, El Santo.
Collecting comics when she could afford to buy them with allowance and watching any film she could of him. He was basically her idol and hero, as he was for basically the country of Mexico. Dude was crazy famous. Through him, she gained a love for acting and the sport of lucha libre.
(Art by Mastermaindd) While she hoped to maybe one day meet the legendary luchador, he would pass away before she could reach adulthood. Into adulthood, she is primarily an actress. Not only for her passion to entertain, but as a way to eventually catch the hearts of all to show how the unity of humans and non-humans was possible considering the loving mother she has and the people of Taos, New Mexico that grew to accept her. However, her love for lucha libre still burned fiercely in her. Once she built the foundation of her career as an actress, she would also pursue her passion of lucha libre on the side for fun. That would catch the eyes of people in Mexico in time. As a luchadora, she goes by the name of La Santa, in honor of El Santo.

Considering I myself am Mexican American, wanted to do a bit more for her other than just saying she is Mexican in my mythos. So, the luchador angle was a fun one to give to her. Plus, like wrestlers, they entertain. And actors/actresses entertain, so why not have El Santo, one of the most famous individuals in Mexican history, be the reason she was inspired to go down the path she went. This reblog is an explanation for posts I'm going to make in the near future. So as many of you can tell, I missed inktober...by like, a lot. I had planned out what I was going to draw each day, but I was so busy with writing/researching, working on my Halloween costume, work, school, etc...that Inktober completely passed me by.
I was planning to show some art/designs/lore of the 100 agents of an organization in my Spidersona's dimension. The organization is called SHAIM (a cross between SHIELD and AIM), which I came up with as a joke in 2019, but I have decided to go back and expand upon it. Posts I make featuring these agents will feature the tag "#shaim agents" and feature a bit of info that I have written for these characters. I hope you guys enjoy it!
Agent 19: Sleepwalker
Identity: real name Unpronounceable to Humans
Sleepwalker is a being of the sleepwalkers race who dwell in a parallel plane called "The Mindscape" where dreams take place. The sleepwalkers corp. patrol this plane, making sure the lifeforms within this plane do not invade human minds. Sleepwalker broke the oath that the sleepwalkers corp. take to not enter a mind when he was trying to stop a creature from invading a human's mind and driving them insane. Because of this accident, he now faces exile from the sleepwalkers corp. but can now walk between both planes. He joined the SHAIM agency and uses his mindscape access to defend both planes. Agent 73: Black Tarantula
Identity: Carlos LaMuerto
The LaMuerto Family from Argentina has been genetically passing down an inherited family power along with the title of Black Tarantula through the generations. This entales enhanced strength, agility, durability, and sight, as well as prolonged life and a slight healing factor. They also have a charged ability of firing concussive blasts from their eyes. Carlos moved to America, where he joined SHAIM and was built some tech gauntlets that allow him to scale walls more easily and perform parkour with ease. He was close friends with agents that Sleuth got fired, so he is not the biggest fan. (Inktober prompt spiders)

My world is divided up into a diverse array of sapient species, most of which possess the ability to interbreed, leading to a societal majority of hybrids that can trace their heritage across several species. But there are a few main categories to consider.
Terrestrials: A culmination of planetary natives, including all primarily land-dwelling sapients. Terrestrials arose naturally through evolution.
Aquatics: The water-born counterpart to terrestrials. Consists of sapients native to the planet that primarily live underwater. Aquatics, too, came to be from evolution.
Extraterrestrials: A giant category containing any sapient non-native to the planet. This includes species that evolved on planetary satellites, such as species that are native to the moon.
Occults: Entities of an unexplained origin, assumed to violate the known laws of reality. This is most commonly reserved for cryptids.
Androids: Artificially produced mechanical sapients are collectively considered Androids. Their sapience was proven not long ago, resulting in their liberation from previously designated service. Unlike AI that has been trained to mimic the functions of sapients, android technology was created by recreating the brain itself in a digital medium. Hormones are replaced by variables, for instance.
Existentials: Creatures who strongly affect existence or are strongly related to the nature of the universe itself (such as creatures who have been around since the beginning of the universe.) Technically, any other creature could become an ‘Existential’ on these caveats, if they acquire the right power. A few sapient species have reached this point. But most Existentials, such as Demons, were born into the role they have.
Penelope! another H.M.K (Humanoid Mutated Kaiju) character in my lil lore and worldbuilding, she's a sweet lady, working as a secretary in a human-populated city zone office, also a pretty well-known I.T. worker in her department, though she struggles with the keyboard but that's what her blades and claws are for! she really likes peppermint tea. some more worldlore shit: there are a lot of jobs in the human district if you're an H.M.K. and considered "not dangerous" and go through the tests and processes of showing that you aren't a danger to anyone in any way shape or form, you can probably hide most of your deformities (not all jobs do it but mostly jobs that have to do with face to face services), if they're educated, and if they're in the H.M.K. work program. Penelope was lucky enough to gain a job at an office cause most of her types are usually accepted in the working industry into hard labor type vocations. Still, she didn't feel as if she would fit in there, so she tried her best to get an office job. They claim to be H.M.K. friendly but they have yet to make additions to they're building for her body type of H.M.K. but she digresses. though some of her employees were nice enough to get her tea cup for her size, well a big enough one. in the world, because of the kaiju attacks, a lot of places have adopted the idea of separating their lands into city or town zones, the reason they're called zones is because the government-funded organizations that reside there, and each zone has code names for each group that have a center in said city/town zones like for example Penelope works and lives in V-zone city, the group that resides there are called the Velkatic organization.

he isnt actually human! he's the one and only android of his kind made by gray mann. this of course causes a shit ton of identity problems for him, since his entire life he was treated as nothing more than a machine executing a program. gray constantly threw him around, hurt him, and put him through immense trauma. dev didn't even see it as abuse, just as 'being stress tested' as a machine. poor dude
things happen, gray dies, he gets kidnapped by classic, respawn shenanigans ensue, he ends up with the mercs (and assist, in his cannon), kills the entirety of classic, and now hangs around with the team as the token twink
Short bang, long hair, braided low. Long hair are common among his people, and a testament of skills. If you have long hair this mean you can afford to have something so easily grabbable. That's and vanity. Long hair are a form of status too, since you can afford to take care of it.
An adult with short or very short hair is not well viewed at all. Especially if it seem to have been shorn very short. This mean they did something, like cowardice, treatorous or criminal.
Children generally have shoulder length hair.

so in honor of it, I sketched my first two lesbian OCs I ever made. These guys I’ve had since the start! their names are Phoenix and Dawn, and they live in this universe I have where people have animal additions (it’s called your other-species or sub-species) birds and insects are at war, but there’s additional strain bc birds are allied with angels in the war against demons, who are allied with dragons, so the bird kingdom is kinda really aggressively militant.
yeah it’s a really extensive universe, this is like a basic overview of some surface level lore.
so anyways, Dawn is a bird person (dove) and Phoenix is an insect person (unspecified as of yet) so they reallllllyyyy aren’t meant to be together. They’re in a close friend group with two wolf people. (NOT werewolves, wolf people. Important distinction)
the wolves have not yet been redesigned in my current style, but here, enjoy Dawn and Phoenix :))

Anyway he is the brother of Aurelie, I haven’t figured out all of the lore yet but this is what I have at the moment:
When his sister was taken he basically lost his mind, angered by the fact nobody truely looked for his sister and he blamed his family for losing her. When he was older he did his on search concluding that his moms old company took her. Now he works for that company he said it was for her safety but after losing his mind. He had no care for human emotion becoming the lead experimentation expert in his field. Most of which were done on his sister. He basically turned into the main antagonist. He medicated his own father into schizophrenia and pretended that he was doing good manipulating his family for years.
The au is sooo neat I was curious about Gordon’s Becoming. I assume he starts off the series human to some degree? I am just fascinated by him succumbing to the Slaughter tbh
Oh yeah, hit the nail on the head with that one.
He starts out as a really normal guy, if a little neurotic. Completely average tax paying father of one.
Then as the ResCas and all it’s consequences happen, his mental health takes a pretty hard hit, and after realizing theres no point in trying to be a hero and save people that the others or something else would kill anyway, he just kinda goes ‘fuck it’ and lets loose on the morality.
He doesn’t end up fully Becoming until the betrayal, and after that it’s full Slaughter.
He’s a lot more aggressive and violent then in the original series, considering that his environment is way way way more intense and horrific, which also leads to him loosing it way faster.

ok fine it's because someone on wattpad wrote a fanfic i really liked and their username was megalostrikeback. i completely ripped them off, i even started a fanfic and copied their whole first chapter, but i credited them so it was technically okay? don't go looking for it, i deleted it a long time ago. i was also like 10 when i wrote it. i look back and cringe.
