Not sure if this was an intended joke, but the opening of Beyond Black Mesa and the way its characters’ profile pictures being round always give me the impression that we are actually communicating with the characters through the opening of a can of beans (instead of, canon-wise, Darnold’s computer)

Lil doodles of my HLVRAI Magnus Archives au, such silly guys. This AU has taken a hold of me, shaken me around, tossed me at a wall, and I’ve loved it.

Not as happy with the piece as a whole, but THE LITTLE DRAWINGS ARE SO MMMMMM. Proud of those. More on the way, though this may be my last big project for a bit, onto doodles and mini comics

i LOVE your tma au but why make coomer the flesh and not the vast?

I actually never considered The Vast before! Or any other entity now that I think about it- The Flesh was kind of just an instant choice for me
It mainly came from the whole cybernetic enhancement bit, as it was the most long running Coomer specific bit asides from his messed up dialogue, and the whole 'climbing into your arm to wear you like a skin suit' thing just screamed Flesh to me. (Stranger too, but Tommy already had that role)
In the story, Coomer kind of functions like Jared Hopworth, being able to steal parts from people(typically dead) and add them to himself, which meshed well with the clones aspect since in canon anytime he killed one it would 'grow his power'
He’s insulted it was even suggested

The au is sooo neat I was curious about Gordon’s Becoming. I assume he starts off the series human to some degree? I am just fascinated by him succumbing to the Slaughter tbh
Oh yeah, hit the nail on the head with that one.
He starts out as a really normal guy, if a little neurotic. Completely average tax paying father of one.
Then as the ResCas and all it’s consequences happen, his mental health takes a pretty hard hit, and after realizing theres no point in trying to be a hero and save people that the others or something else would kill anyway, he just kinda goes ‘fuck it’ and lets loose on the morality.
He doesn’t end up fully Becoming until the betrayal, and after that it’s full Slaughter.
He’s a lot more aggressive and violent then in the original series, considering that his environment is way way way more intense and horrific, which also leads to him loosing it way faster.
Who is your favorite person to draw?
