Requested - Yes - Anon - Loki x reader where the reader is being held prisoner at the TVA because she knows Loki better than anyone else - the rest is up to you. Thank you!!!

“Who was she?” Loki asked as the reel came to an end.

He had just witnessed his entire life play out before him, ending long before it should have and having accomplished nothing he thought he wanted. He recognised nearly everyone shown, his mother, father, the Avengers, Thor…but there was a woman that he had no recollection of, clearly not yet meeting her but important enough to his future self for her to be included.

“She was one of the few people who saw the good in you. One of the very few people who thought you could be more than the villain, who saw the potential in you.” Mobius said, causing him to screw his eyes shut and shake his head.

“As if there could ever be such a person.” Loki scoffed. He knew what he was, the film reel only highlighted that.

“Her name is Y/N. Thor brought her to Asgard during your time spent there as prisoner. She wandered down to your cell despite being told never to go by Odin. She was there for the battle, saw all the destruction and chaos but still she asked you for your side of the story.” Mobius said, pausing as Loki interrupted him.

“Why on Earth would she ask for my side of the story?” Loki asked bitterly, his eyes still wet with tears.

“That’s exactly what you asked her.” Mobius smiled, “You dismissed her, told her to leave but she didn’t listen. She stayed and sat with you in silence and continued to do so as the days went on, sometimes she brought books and read to you. Eventually you caved and told her your side of it. Somehow she decided that you weren’t all bad.”

“Then she is a fool.” Loki snarled, finally turning to face mobius.

“A fool,” Mobius chuckled fondly, “I don’t think so, I think once upon a time she was the villain and she was given a second chance. I think that made her kinder. Besides, she’s a fool you love more than anything, she’s a fool you lived for, a fool you would’ve died for without hesitation.”

Loki stayed silent for a few moments, processing the information. It seemed utterly impossible for anybody to love him, the thought of it was ridiculous. How could someone see good in him, he was the villain…he was always destined to be the villain.

“What happened to her?” Loki asked eventually.

“After Thanos was defeated and the Avengers brought everybody back, she hoped you’d be brought back too. When you weren’t, she was lost, broken. She had lost the one person who truly believed in her and she couldn’t deal with it. She used the time machine and went back to the moment before Thanos attacked you, she tried to warn you, she tried to change the future but that future couldn’t be changed.”

“What happened to her?” Loki asked again, this time more harshly, a dangerous edge to his tone.

“The TVA stepped in; she was to be pruned but then the decision was changed. We’ve been looking into you for a very long time, needing information and trust me when I say nobody knows a Loki better than Y/F/N Y/L/N.” Mobius said with a smile that Loki didn’t understand.

“She’s here?” He asked instead.

“She’s here.” Mobius confirmed.

“You dare to hold her here, for what? Because she knows me? Let her go.” Loki ordered, stepping close to Mobius who just chuckled in response.

“If it makes you feel better, she hasn’t given up any information about you. Refuses to speak to any of us, so they put her in a time cell hoping that’ll convince her to talk but I don’t think it’ll do any good. Even when she knows you’re dead, she’s still protecting you, consequences be damned.”

Loki thought she sounded foolish, to you he was dead, why wouldn’t you bargain for your own life? Give them information and make them let you go. A small part of him was pleased though, loyalty like that was almost impossible to come by.

That small part of him wanted to know you but he knew that was impossible.

Loki sighed, too quiet for Mobius to hear, before taking a seat on the step.

“I can’t go back, can I?” He asked, knowing the answer. He was never going to get to experience the things he’d seen. “Back to my timeline.”

Mobius looked at him, he really did sympathise with the God, watching how you had held up against the interrogations for him, well he must have been worth it.

In a moment of weakness, Loki confessed everything that only he knew…well things he hadn’t told you yet at least. He admitted that he didn’t enjoy hurting people, didn’t enjoy being the villain, admitted how weak he felt so conjured fear to feel powerful, he explained everything to Mobius, he explained the illusions, how he wanted to control.

“You do know yourself.” Mobius said, pleasure in his voice.

“A villain.” Loki admitted in defeat.

“That’s not how I see it.” Mobius said, watching as Loki looked down, not giving away what he felt about that statement. “That’s not how she saw it either.”

“I can’t offer you salvation,” Mobius told him, “but maybe I can offer you something better. Like I said we’re holding Y/N here because she knows Loki’s better than anybody.”

“What do you mean ‘Loki’s?” He asked, it hadn’t occurred to him that the plural had been used earlier either.

“A fugitive Variant’s been killing our Minutemen.“ Mobius told him, causing Loki to raise his eyebrows.

"And you need the God of Mischief to help you stop him?” He asked as he stepped closer to Mobius

“That’s right.” He nodded.

“Why me?”

“Because” Mobius began, “the Variant we’re hunting is you.” Loki’s eyebrows raised in confusion at this.

“I beg your pardon?” Loki said, they were hunting him?

-

Loki agreed to help and was quickly tasked with watching educational videos about the TVA, their policies and protocols but his mind kept wandering back to you. You were here somewhere, risking your life by withholding information. He admired you more than he wanted to admit and knew he had to meet you.

“Hey.” Mobius greeted as he walked up to his desk to see Loki sat with his feet up.

Before he could say anything else Loki spoke:

“I went to see her.”

It wasn’t a surprising statement to Mobius, in fact he’d been waiting for Loki to ask since he first heard about you. After the first outing with Loki to track the Variant down, he admitted he was growing fond of the God, so despite restrictions he nodded.

“I thought you might want to. Leave it to me, I’ll sort something out.”

-

You sat on the floor, eyes dry as you’d long ran out of tears.

It isn’t real.

You kept repeating the statement to yourself, not wanting to forget. It was so easy to forget that this wasn’t real. If you let yourself you could pretend Loki was alive, you could give in and lose yourself forever in this fake world they had conjured up for you.

Somehow you resisted, though as the days dragged on it was getting harder.

Every few minutes the scene would reset itself when you didn’t play your part.

Loki would stroll in through the door, calling out for you.

You remembered the moment they were playing for you, you were supposed to meet him at the door and he would bring you in for a soft kiss. He had had a long day at the Grandmaster’s side, playing his part so the two of you could escape.

It had been weeks since you had first arrived, breathing a sigh of relief when Loki stood in front of you. You were welcomed immediately once the Grandmaster found out you knew Loki and since then he had been working his way up in the man’s good graces.

After the two of you pulled away from each other you were supposed to go over to the sofa where Loki would wrap you up in his arms, tucking you in so your head rested under his chin. He’d place soft kisses on your forehead and let his fingers dance along your skin.

It was a moment of peace for the pair of you.

Then the scene diverged from how it should of continued, instead Loki told you how you were merely a pawn in his game, you had run your course and he no longer needed you, he told you how glad he was to be rid of you, how you were a villain just like him, he told you to stop playing the hero, reminded you of all the people you’d hurt, all the lives you ruined until you couldn’t take it anymore.

Right now, Loki was berating you, you wanted to cry, you wanted to scream and punch the walls and beg him to stop. You had done all of that in the early days and it made no difference, the scene always played on no matter how much you begged.

They said if you told them about Loki they’d let you go but you refused to talk. He might be dead but according to them there were other Loki’s out there and whilst none would ever come close to your Loki, you wouldn’t betray any of them.

You didn’t know how much time had passed, it could’ve been mere minutes or years, but the orange light appeared in the shape of a doorway and a man was stepping through.

Mobius.

You liked him. He was always nice to you even though you knew it frustrated him when you wouldn’t give any information up, he never hurt you like the others.

“Hello Y/N.” He said, his voice soft and smile friendly.

“Mobius.” You greeted, voice empty of emotion.

Mobius hated seeing you like this, he really did. He remembered you when they first brought in, so full of fight and spirit. Seeing you this broke didn’t sit right with him.

“C’mon.” He said, holding out a hand for you to grab, frowning when you flinched.

After an awkward pause you did take the offered hand and let Mobius take you through the doorway.

“No.” You said as you stepped out, turning to go back through the door but it was already closed.

“Y/N,” Mobius began, his voice changing to resemble that of how someone would talk to a frightened animal.

“No, not here, only in there,” you said, gesturing to the empty space where the door was only moments before. “He’s never here.”

“Y/N, this is Loki.” Mobius tried again but before he got the chance to give you an explanation, you exploded.

“My Loki is dead, Mobius!” You yelled pushing Mobius away, the fight you had thought long gone coming back stronger than ever, you felt the anger build inside of you, it felt like it was going to burn you alive. You hadn’t cried in a long time but the tears came pouring down rapidly now. “He’s dead, I watched him die! So don’t stand there and tell me he’s my Loki. Whatever kind of torture this is, it won’t work. You hear me, I hope the Loki your tracking finds you first, I hope he burns this place to the ground.” Despite the anger and the yelling, Mobius couldn’t help but smile as you echoed some of Loki’s first words to him.

“Y/N, is it?” Loki said, taking a hesitant step towards you.

You turned away from him, refusing to play whatever game Mobius had set up.

“I’m afraid I don’t quite know what to say, it feels like you know everything about me and I so little about you.” Loki confessed, he really was at a loss but seeing you so sad, so broken, so tortured…it pained him.

“You’re not my Loki.” You whispered harshly, though it sounded like you were trying to convince yourself rather than him.

“No, I’m afraid I’m not, for I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting you yet. Though I do envy my future self for having got so much time with you but perhaps it was better that way, I don’t think you would have liked this version of me as much.” Loki was shocked to find he believed the words wholeheartedly.

“You’re not my Loki.” Was your only reply.

“I know.” Loki repeated. “I am from your timeline though. I’m the Loki that just lost to the Avengers in New York.” Here he watched as you looked to Mobius, who gave you a sincere smile whilst nodding.

Then you turned to look at him.

“2012 Loki?” You asked, wiping at your eyes.

“Yes. I was captured and Thor was ready to take me to Asgard when the tesseract was released and I made my escape.” He watched as you played the information over in your head, matching it up with events you remembered.

“That’s when the TVA got you?” You asked, hesitant to believe it but Mobius was the only one who hadn’t lied to you yet.

“That’s when the TVA got me.” Loki confirmed, shooting you a small smile. “I heard they got you because you tried to save me.”

“Tried being the key word,” you scoffed, “I was so close, but they whisked me away and reset the timeline. I’ve been here ever since.”

“Staying loyal to a dead man?” Loki asked, causing you to smile.

“My Loki might be dead but there are other Loki’s out there, I refuse to betray any of them, especially one causing the TVA so much trouble.” You said, missing the way Mobius grinned.

“Your Loki must have meant an awful lot to you to inspire so much loyalty.”

“My Loki meant everything to me.” Was your reply.

There was a pause in the room and Mobius was quick to gesture to the chairs around the table. You hesitated for a moment which Loki noticed and he moved to pull a chair out for you. You couldn’t help but smile at him, the gesture was something you had become so used to, God you missed him.

“So, this Variant?” Loki asked, looking away from you to Mobius.

The three of you spent the next few hours going over the information the TVA had on the Variant and if Loki moved closer to you…well who could possibly blame him?

-

“Oh, my goodness. Don’t tell me the Variant ambushed and killed another team of Minutemen?” Here Loki paused to let out an exaggerated gasp causing you to laugh silently into the palm of your hand. “And stole their reset charge as well.” You couldn’t help but let out a snort of laughter causing Loki to grin widely before the two of you were shushed.

You both froze as you locked eyes with Loki, you raised your eyebrow at him causing him to smirk. Slowly he turned around to see the librarian and shushed her back.

You couldn’t have wiped the smile off of your face if you tried.

-

“Wait, I’ve got it!” Loki exclaimed after a long silence were the two of you continued reading the files Mobius had left.

“What?” You asked, looking up at him.

You watched as Loki scooped the folders up before reaching a hand out to you, you didn’t hesitate as you took it and let him pull you along.

“Where are we going?” You laughed.

“To show Mobius.” He told you, looking back to smile at you before hurrying over to Mobius who was sitting with a lunch tray.

“I found something.” Loki said, placing the files on the table and taking a seat, dragging you into the seat next to him, so close your knees brushed together.

Mobius ignored his words as he replied, “No, I said don’t bother me until you’ve read all the files.”

“We have read them all.” You and Loki said together, pausing to look at each other with small smiles and turning back to Mobius who watched the two of you with a raised eyebrow.

It wasn’t long before you were hiding a smile as Loki demonstrated how his theory worked using Mobius’ salad as Asgard and another worker’s drink and some salt. One of the many things you loved about Loki was how expressive he was when he was explaining something, especially when it was something he was passionate about. The hand gestures, the demonstrations, even just how elegantly he spoke…you loved watching him talk like this. There was an ache in your chest at seeing this again, but you managed to push it aside.

“There’s the apocalypse.” Loki said with a proud smile.

“That’s the apocalypse?” Mobius asked looking down at his, now ruined, lunch.

“If everything around you is destined to lead up to that one moment then whatever you do won’t have an impact,” You said looking from the salad to Loki who was nodding at you with a pleased expression, “right?”

“Exactly!” He exclaimed. “So, the Variant hides out in these apocalypses,”

“And nobody would ever know because whatever that Loki is doing can’t affect anything, whatever they do doesn’t stop the apocalypse.” You finished and Loki looked so pleased as he turned to face you.

“Not bad.” Mobius said, causing you and Loki to quickly look away from each other, making Mobius chuckle.

-

As Loki and Mobius tested the apocalypse theory out, you were forced to stay behind. Whilst you were allowed to help out with the research work, Renslayer had denied you access to leave the TVA.

You were sort of glad for the opportunity to be alone. Seeing Loki again was hard, he was so much like your Loki which made sense because technically he was your Loki just an earlier version of him. His mannerisms were so similar that sometimes you had to pause to catch your breath as the ache in your chest grew.

Sometimes Mobius sent Loki on a task when he saw you were getting overwhelmed and in the few minutes of Loki’s absence, Mobius would sit with you and talk just above a whisper, sometimes he praised you, sometimes he told you stories, whatever he did always grounded you and you were so thankful to the man.

Some days it was almost like the time cell they had you in were you just wanted to pretend that he was the Loki you knew, pretend that he knew you too. You wanted him to wrap his arms around you and just let the world fall away. It would’ve been so easy to do it but you pushed through it and carried on with the helping find the other Loki.

-

“So, tell me where you’re going again.” You asked Loki as Mobius spoke with somebody.

“Earth, more precisely Haven Hills, Alabama, 2050. It’s a corporate town owned by Roxxcart until it’s wiped out by a hurricane.” Loki told you.

“And that’s where you think Loki’s hiding?” Loki looked at you watching as you nervously bit your lip. He frowned seeing how worried you were.

“Hey,” Loki said, placing his hand under your chin and guiding you to look up at him. He let his palm rest against your cheek. “What’s wrong?”

You sighed as you let your eyes fall closed. You didn’t know what was wrong, you just knew something didn’t feel right.

“What if something goes wrong?” You asked instead of answering.

“It’s going to be fine.” Loki assured you with a small smile but you just shook your head before moving away from him to pace.

“You don’t know that Loki, you don’t know it’ll be fine!” You exclaimed, causing Loki’s eyes to widen in concern.

“Hey, hey, hey,” Loki whispered as he reached for you, pulling you close so that your head rested on his chest. He felt you tense up for a moment before relaxing into him and he let his hand rub comfortingly up and down your back. “Tell me what’s wrong, darling.”

That seemed to be the final straw for you and before Loki knew it you were sobbing into his chest, gripping him tightly like he’d disappear if you let go.

“It’s ok, you’re ok.” Loki continued to whisper soothing words into your hair as he held you.

Mobius turned to call Loki over, the task force ready to leave but when he saw the two of you huddled together he gestured for everyone to move away to give the two of you some privacy.

“Tell me what’s wrong, love, so I can fix it.” Loki said after you began to calm down. He pulled you away from him, frowning as you whimpered but relaxed as he just wiped your tears away, keeping you close the entire time.

“The last time I…” You trailed off, taking a shaky breath, “The last time I lost you, you told me everything would be fine. You were lying of course; you knew you were lying but I didn’t. I didn’t know just how bad it would be and now you’re going to face another Loki, one who has been avoiding and killing minutemen for longer than I’ve been alive. I can’t lose you again, I can’t lose you.” You rushed out, your voice breaking at the end as another round of tears fell from your eyes.

Loki paused for a moment and just watched you, feeling his heart clench in sympathy. He hated his future self for dying, for leaving you alone but he also knew how much he loved Thor, he’d rather the both of you live without him than him having to live without either of you. Maybe that made him selfish but he could see why his future self had made the sacrifice.

“I’m sorry, darling,” He said as he pulled you back into his arms, “I’m so sorry that you were left alone, believe me if I could change it I would no matter what I had to do but if it comes down to you or me, I’m always going to choose you. I know that after only knowing you for a short amount of time so the Loki you spent years with….well I can see why he wouldn’t hesitate. You can come with us, I’ll convince Mobius, if it’ll make you feel better, but everything really is going to be ok.” Loki promised as he placed a kiss on the top of your head.

As he turned his head, he saw Mobius who gestured that they needed to go. Silently, he pointed to you and then to Mobius, pleading with the man to let you go. He watched as Mobius frowned before looking down the hallway and back to the two of you before reluctantly nodding and mouthing “quickly.”

“Let’s go.” Loki said as he linked your hands together and led you to the task force.

Mobius smiled at you softly and you mouthed a thank you towards him before you were all being ushered through the doorway.

-

The rain was…well it was apocalyptic. You watched as Loki looked up at the sky as it thundered dangerously with a small smile, your Loki did that too, just looked up at the sky and thought of Thor when the weather was stormy.

Once the task force was inside Loki used his magic to dry the two of you off causing you to jump slightly, it had been so long since you’d been around magic.

“Thank you.” You said and Loki just smiled down at you.

“The hell was that?” One of the agents asked, causing Loki to grin cheekily.

“That was me using magic to dry our clothes so we don’t announce ourselves with every squeaky footstep like the rest of you.” You couldn’t help but snort, causing Hunter B-15 to glare at you.

“Take both teams and sweep the storm shelter.” She said to the rest of the task force and everyone was quick to move.

“Loki and I are gonna check out the Green House. We’ll meet…” Mobius began but was quickly cut off by Hunter B-15.

“No.”

“No?” He asked in confusion

“You go with D-90 and take Y/L/N with you. He stays with me.” She said, causing Loki to glance first at Mobius then you, you watched him with a concerned look but eventually nodded.

Mobius and Hunter B-15 bickered back and forth before Loki cut in.

“Mobius, it’s fine. It’s fine. You can trust me. I understand I have to earn that, so, I will.” He said, again looking from Mobius to you. You smiled at him, causing him to smile back.

“Why is it the people you can’t trust are always saying, “Trust me”?” Mobius muttered to you before turning to Hunter B-15, “Okay, try to hang on to your Time Collar this time. We’ll see you in the showroom.”

And with that everyone went their separate ways.

-

“You can trust him, you know.” You told Mobius once you were far away enough from the others.

“No, you can trust him.” Mobius said with a fond smile. “Me however, well we’ll see.”

The two of you walked behind the group following as they led you into a room full of people seeking refuge.

“Check the bag for reset chargers.” One of the hunters said and everyone was quick to set to work as the people around you panicked.

“Hey! These people are scared.” Mobius snapped at one of the hunters who was being particularly vicious towards the people, looking at him now you recognised him as one of your harsher interrogators.

“They’re about to die. They should be scared.” He snapped back causing your eyes to widen in horror at the harshness.

“Not of us.” Mobius said calmly.

“Please we’ve got women and children.” A man said as he gently grabbed your arm and pleaded with you. You looked at him with tears in your eyes.

“I’m so sorry.” You whispered before Mobius led you away. “You’re really going to let these people die?”

“Our job isn’t to save them.” Mobius said sadly, sympathising with you. The first few missions are always the hardest.

“No,” You scoffed as you moved away from him, “your job is to make sure they die.” You hissed before stalking out of the room.

Tears made their way down your face as you left the room but you angrily brushed them away as you tried to find Loki. You had always thought something seemed off with the TVA but seeing their work up close made you nauseous.

A thud snapped you out of your thoughts and you peeked around a corner just in time to see Hunter B-15 hit the floor. You spared her little thought; Mobius would find her and instead you followed Loki.

You saw Loki standing alone but talking to somebody.

“I see, that’s your plan, lure us all here so you can blow the place up.”

You watched as a giant of a man came from nowhere and kicked Loki in the chest sending him flying backwards. The man, a Loki perhaps?, just thanked him for helping stall for time before hitting him again sending him further back. Loki used his magic but still the man showed no signs of slowing down.

“Stop hiding.” Loki commanded, causing you to raise an eyebrow. More than likely the Loki variant then, hiding in the bodies of refugees.

A sick feeling suddenly came over you as you watched the Loki variant choke Loki, images of Thanos and Loki invaded your mind and it took everything for you to stay quiet.

You breathed a sigh of relief as he let Loki go though it was short lived as Loki went flying again, smashing into one of the stands.

The Loki variant’s eyes turned green before the man hit the floor with a laugh, suddenly there was a hooded figure with glowing green hands standing behind him. As Loki’s voice bounced around the room, the Loki variant pulled his hood down.

There stood a woman. Loki in her true form.

“This isn’t about you.” She snarled.

“Right.” Loki said, sounding dubious before the power shut down. The last thing you saw was a smirk on the Loki variant’s face.

The lighting turned red as the Loki variant picked up a tempad, you watched as the familiar orange doorway appeared and that bad feeling you had about Loki coming here grew painfully.

This wasn’t going to end well for anybody.

She waved at Loki before stepping through the doorway and moments later Mobius, Hunter B-15 and another Hunter where running down the hallway shouting for Loki to stop.

“Loki, wait!” Mobius pleaded and Loki actually looked torn before shaking his head and walking towards the door.

“Loki!” You yelled, finally stepping out from behind one of the isles.

Here Loki paused before turning to you, his eyes were wide as he looked at you and, in that moment, you knew what would happen.

“Please.” You whispered and he looked crushed.

Mobius was near him now, nearly within distance to grab him, to push him away from that damned doorway but he was too late.

‘I’m sorry darling.’ Loki mouthed before he ran through the doorway.

The orange faded to nothing just as Mobius reached it and you could do nothing but stare at the doorway with an aching heart.

Prompt - 'I knew you were trouble when you walked in.'

You had known from the beginning that Loki was trouble, the moment Thor had brought him back to Earth and he had entered the tower with that cocky grin and smug attitude. You knew then he was trouble but you couldn’t help yourself.

It wasn’t a shock when you realised you had feelings for him though you did curse yourself for it. Loki had never given you any indication that he felt the same way as you, hell half the time he acted like he didn’t care at all and for some reason you liked that. So really it shouldn’t have been a surprise that you were on the opposite side of the scale, you falling hard for him and him taking a step back.

You had thought you were doing a pretty good job at keeping your feelings a secret, not wanting anybody to find out but being a part of The Avengers, being so close to them on a daily basis, meant it was hard to keep secrets from each other. That’s why you weren’t as surprised as you probably should have been when Tony called you down to his workshop under the guise of a new suit.

He showed you all the new gadgets he had installed and waited until there was a silence before he asked you;

“You know what you’re doing?”

“Huh?” You said, looking up at him, eyebrows furrowed together in confusion as you looked from the suit to him.

“C’mon kid,” Tony said with a huff of laughter, “Loki.”

You stayed silent, raising an eyebrow as you waited for more information but apparently that was all the explanation you were getting.

“What about Loki?” You asked, watching as Tony rolled his eyes.

“I see the way you look at him,” He told you, scrunching his nose up as he did, causing you to laugh, “You know what you’re getting yourself into?” He asked again.

“Tony, trust me, there’s nothing to get myself into.” You told him firmly and you weren’t lying, there was nothing between you and Loki, no matter how much you wished otherwise.

Tony just laughed as wrapped an arm around you, letting his head gently knock against yours as he led you out of the workshop and stepped into the lift with you.

“What am I gonna do with you, kid?” He asked, causing you to roll your eyes but there was a smile on your face too. “Just be careful, you hear me?”

“Aren’t I always?” You grinned up at him, letting out a laugh as he shot you a look.

“Get out of here, Y/L/N.” He said as he playfully pushed you away as the lift door opened.

You shot him one last smile before heading over to the common area. As you joined Clint, taking a tablet into your hands and beginning to scroll, you pushed all thoughts of Loki out of your head.

-

You sat alone in your room, staring blankly ahead at the wall, tears pooling in your eyes but you refused to let them fall. It had been a bad mission, god was it a bad mission. It should’ve been an easy situation to defuse, a few robots that had appeared from who knows where and began to shoot lasers all throughout New York.

There were more casualties than there should have been that day.

Loki had heard all about the mission from Thor before he came to find you, JARVIS being more helpful towards him than ever but he figured the AI was looking out for you as he gave your location up easily.

Loki knew that you had been the one to defeat one of the final bots after being assured that the area was cleared but the bot had ended up killing several civilians that hadn’t been accounted for.

He stood in the doorway, frowning at how pale you looked sitting on your bed. He wished he knew how to help but what could he say to make this better, was there anything that could be said to make this better?

“Hey,” He said softly, watching as you jumped despite his soft tone. “My apologies, I didn’t mean to startle you.”

You didn’t reply, instead you nodded and forced a shaky smile onto your face.

Loki continued to watch you, not knowing what the right words for this situation were. The two of you had known each other for a while now but he had never let himself get too close to you, everything about you intrigued him but he knew he couldn’t act upon that so instead he kept your friendship at arms length and didn’t let himself get caught up in you.

Which was working great until now, now he wished he had gotten as close as possible to you because maybe then he could find the right words to say, maybe then he could give you the hug you looked like you so desperately needed.

Instead he went for a tactic that would leave everything to you, you could decide how little or how much you wanted to lean on him as you carried this hurt.

“Care for a drink?” He asked, holding up a bottle towards you and smiling as you looked up at him in confusion.

The silence spread on for a few moments and Loki was convinced that it meant no but when you slowly nodded he shot you a comforting smile.

Loki took that as all the permission he needed to enter your bedroom, letting the door shut behind him was a soft click. You pushed yourself up on the bed, continuing to watch Loki’s movements in confusion.

You knew your feelings for Loki but he had always made it clear that he didn’t feel anything, even if he never said it. The two of you may have been friends but there was definitely a difference in how he treated you to how he treated the others, like he didn’t want to get as close to you.

So why was he asking you if you wanted to have a drink with him?

As confused as you were you were also glad for the distraction, maybe that’s why you had said yes despite the confusion because your thoughts were now on Loki and not the terrible mission you had just endured.

It wasn’t long before you and Loki were settled down, one drink in and things felt a little awkward.

Three drinks in, however, both of you had relaxed enough and were grinning at each other as you spoke about nothing important. Loki wasn’t going to be the one to bring up today's events, right now his only goal was to take your mind as far away from it as possible.

A few more drinks in and personal space between Loki and you had gone. You leaned your head on his shoulder as you laughed and his arm ended up around your waist. It wasn’t long before you tilted your head up to look at him, the expression on his face changed immediately, the grin fell into a soft smile as he glanced from your eyes to your lips.

He leaned down, giving you time to pull away and when you didn’t he let his lips meet yours. The kiss was soft, it was hesitant, obviously testing the waters, and then it wasn’t. Then it was messy and heated and the two of you were pulling away panting for breath.

Loki stared down at you for a moment with wild eyes before his lips connected with yours again. He pulled you down, hovering on top of you as he trailed kisses down your neck and it wasn’t long before your mind was well and truly off the mission, the only thought you had now was Loki.

-

You woke up the next morning with a groan, the light shone far too brightly through the curtains and you knew despite feeling exhausted you couldn’t go back to sleep but the bed was warm so you made no move to get up just yet.

You lay there, in your bed, remembering the night before.

It was definitely a mistake but you couldn’t find it within yourself to regret it. You’d wanted Loki for so long and if this was the only way you had him, just one amazing night with him then you were going to savour it.

You opened your eyes and frowned as you saw the empty bed. Was Loki’s plan for him to be gone by the time you woke up, to just pretend that nothing had happened? You couldn’t help but roll your eyes as you pushed yourself from the bed and began to change.

It didn’t take you long before you were dressed and heading into the kitchen on your floor. As you stepped out of the bedroom you froze as you saw Loki plating up two plates of food, him looking up at you with that smile of his.

“Morning, I made breakfast.” He told you, lifting the pan in his hands up as proof.

You felt your eyebrows knit together in confusion, not quite sure how this was going to play out. Just two minutes ago you had been so sure that Loki had left, ready to forget all about last night and instead you found him making breakfast?

“Thank you,” You said softly, taking a seat when he pulled it out for you.

Breakfast was a fairly quiet affair and it wasn’t until both your utensils were down that he spoke up.

“About last night,” He began before pausing, not knowing quite what to say despite going over it all morning. “I shouldn’t have come on to you like that, we were drunk and your head wasn’t in the right place after your mission. I shouldn’t have taken advantage of that and for that I’m sorry.”

“Hey, I knew what I was doing,” you told him, watching as he looked at you with wide eyes, a small frown on his face. “I knew what I was doing, ok? Trust me I may have been drunk and, yeah, the mission got to me, but I would have told you no if I didn’t want it.”

“So you don’t regret last night?” He asked, looking over at you with an unreadable expression.

You hesitated for a moment, you’d admitted as much but actually saying it out loud left you feeling unsure. You weren’t sure how he felt about last night, he hadn’t given much away about his feelings other than his own doubts of how willing you were.

You’d meant what you said, no matter how drunk or emotional you were, if you didn’t want his advances you would have told him, trusting that he would leave it at that. But you hadn’t said no, you wanted that night, if that was all you were allowed with Loki then you were glad you’d had it.

“No, I don’t.” You answered after a few moments of silence and you watched his face closely looking for any indication as to how he felt but he gave nothing away.

“Me neither,” He finally admitted softly, looking up so his eyes met yours. “So, where do we go from here?”

Before you could reply an alarm sounded through the tower, alerting you to another Avengers level threat, usually that was not a sound you wanted to hear but now you were relieved, having no idea how to answer Loki’s question.

You shot him a smile before you were up and out of the door.

-

As the months passed, you and Loki became closer and closer to the point where you were spending most of your free time together, the two of you went out for dinner together, no matter the time the other was always there to listen.

The team also noticed, they watched as Loki and you moved in sync with each other, whether it be training together in the gym or making breakfast in the common area kitchen. Tony wasn’t completely sold on whatever was happening between the two of you but he couldn’t deny that Loki had toned down his animosity towards the others and he especially couldn’t deny the smile on your face whenever Loki was around.

Months in and you and Loki had yet to define what was happening between you. You wanted to ask him, so badly, what this was but every time you tried you ended up backing out of the conversation, not ready to lose this closeness.

The two of you had slept together several more times and the time you spent together alone felt so much like dates that you were left feeling so uncertain.

On paper the two of you had been dating for months but in reality you had no idea what was happening.

“I told you from the start I didn’t think this was a good idea,” Tony said after he had pulled you aside and told you to talk to him after seeing you take your frustration and confusion out on a punching bag. You told him everything from the first time you slept with Loki on that drunken night all the way up until now. He sat and listened, patiently waiting until you were done. He could tell how much this was eating away at you, how much you needed to talk to somebody and even if you didn’t like the advice he had to offer, he was glad you trusted him with this. “But we both know you’re not gonna listen to me, so this is just a mistake you’re gonna have to make.”

You rolled your eyes but there was a smile on your lips. You knew Tony hated the idea of you and Loki together, not trusting Loki at all and not wanting the God to drag you down with him when things inevitably went south.

“Can you give me some helpful advice please?” You asked, causing Tony to laugh.

“Sure thing, kid.” He grinned, “You already know what you have to do. You gotta talk to him, Y/N/N, you want this thing to go somewhere you have to start at the beginning, define the relationship and if he says something you don’t like, you leave.”

Tony made it sound so simple but you knew it wouldn’t be, when was it ever that simple?

You knew why you kept backing out of having the conversation, it was because despite how Loki had been acting towards you, you actually had no idea how he felt. Sure the two of you had gotten closer, sure you went out to the movies and to dinner and the such and yeah Loki showed up at your door with take out and movies but at the end of the day you didn’t know if he wanted to be with you.

You could admit, even if it was only to yourself, that you had fallen hard for the man. The way Loki made you feel, nobody had ever made you feel like this before. Tony was right, even though it would be way more complicated than he made it sound, ultimately you knew he was right.

Tony watched your face shift from unsure to determined, he knew his words had gotten through to you. Honestly he didn’t have the best feeling about this but he knew how you felt and he knew you needed to do this, needed closure on how Loki felt.

All Tony could do was be there for you when things went to pieces.

-

It had taken a few days but you were finally going to talk to Loki. You had both invested too much time into each other for him not to like you, the way you were with one another, that wasn’t how friends acted.

You hadn’t told him you were coming, the two of you had long since had an open invitation in place, no matter the time. It wasn’t rare anymore for one of you to show up in the others room unannounced.

In the elevator you felt your nerves spike and ended up pacing in the hallway for an extra ten minutes trying to convince yourself that you could do this, you needed to do this. Despite the nerves though you had a pretty good feeling that Loki felt the same and that was the hope you clung to as you walked up to his door.

Again you paused but not for long. You let your hand close around the cold door knob and touch a deep, calming breath before pushing it open. In that moment it felt like a number of things happened at once, too fast for you to comprehend but before you knew it you were in the lift and heading down to the workshop.

Upon opening the door you saw Loki and a woman dressed in Asgardian clothes joined together at the lips, her legs around his waist as he pinned her to the wall, fingers tangled in her hair as her arms wrapped around his shoulders.

They both turned at the sound of the door opening, Loki looking at you with wide, pleading eyes, letting the woman’s legs drop from him. The woman, who you now recognised as the lady Thor brought to Earth once or twice a month to check on Loki’s progress and take notes to take back to Asgard, was also looking at you with wide eyes but before either of them could say anything you were gone. Loki tried to follow you out but by the time he made his way out the door, the elevator had already closed.

-

“You were right.” Were the first words out of your mouth as Tony looked up at you as you walked through the door.

He frowned as he took in the tears streaming down your face, mascara mixed with tears.

“C’mere kid,” He said as he pulled you into his arms, wrapping you in a tight hug.

You couldn’t say just how long the two of you stood in the doorway for but eventually you pulled away. Tony didn’t let you go far, taking your face in his palms and wiping away the tears. You smiled at him shakily and he gave you a sympathetic smile back, before pressing his lips to your head and guiding you further into the room.

It wasn’t long before you were tucked up against him on the sofa, a cold glass of water in your hands, courtesy of one of the bots. Tony hadn’t pushed you, hadn’t asked what had happened, he just let you take comfort in his presence whilst your mind played the scene over and over again.

“He was kissing that Asgardian handler.” You finally said and Tony’s eyes widened in shock, he hadn’t had high hopes for Loki but that was honestly the last thing he thought you were going to say.

“I’m sorry, kid.” He said. There were no words to make you feel better and he hated that. Ever since you’d joined the team Tony had taken you under his wing, training with you, helping you out in the lab once he realised you had an interest in building tech, overall he had taken his time and gone above and beyond to make sure you were happy and never wanting anything. Overtime he came to think of you as his own kid, he was always there for you when you needed him, now was no exception.

“Thank you for not saying I told you so.” You said with a sad laugh, eyes filling with tears again as you shook your head.

Tony couldn’t help but smile at that. He knew there was no warning you away from Loki, he had known from the second he saw that look on your face that you were going to do what you wanted even if he told you that you were going to get hurt. As much as he wanted to protect you, he knew you had to make some mistakes on your own and he just had to be here to pick up the pieces.

“You really think I’d say that?” Tony snorted, smiling as you turned your head on his chest to look up at him with a raised eyebrow. “I knew he was trouble but when do you ever listen to me?”

“Maybe I’ll start.” You shot back, a small but real smile on your face.

“Somehow I doubt that, kid.” Despite everything with Loki, you were thankful to have Tony. You wished you had listened to him from the beginning, you hated feeling like this. You knew the two of you hadn’t defined what was happening between you but you never would have thought he’d be kissing other girls.

Right now all you wanted was to push every thought of Loki out of your mind and there was no-one better suited for the job than Tony Stark.

Prompts - I am not the kind of girl who should be rudely barging in on a white-veil occasion, but you are not the kind of boy who should be marrying the wrong girl

Synopsis - When Loki is forced to marry a Princess you only have two options speak now or forever hold your peace.

Falling in love with a Prince of Asgard had never been you plan, of course it was a dream many around you had but no one was foolish enough to believe it could happen and yet here you were, head over heels for the Prince who made you feel like you were something more than just a servant, a helper to the palace, made you feel like you were the most important person in all the realms.

It wasn’t easy to pinpoint the exact moment your relationship had shifted so drastically, had changed from just a way to blow off steam into what it had become, the two of you falling hard for each other. Not that it got acknowledged, how could it? You knew no matter how much you and Loki cared for one another, no matter how much love was between the two of you, nothing could ever come from it, it was something you thought about more often than you’d like because no matter how hard you tried to push it away it always lingered.

Despite the consequences, despite how forbidden your relationship was, despite how nothing could ever come from it, you and Loki were determined to make every moment count. Now it wasn’t just about sex, it wasn’t about sharing a bottle of something to forget your troubles, instead it was about sneaking off to a quiet corner of Asgard, far, far away from anybody else and stealing magical moments together.

Some days the two of you went exploring, despite living on Asgard your whole life you had seen so little of the planet and Loki was the best guide, knowing all the secret spots that hadn’t been explored for so long. Other days Loki had set up picnics by the lakes, sometimes the two of you were content to stroll through the hidden woods or find a patch of grass and bask in the sun, you held against Loki’s chest as his hand absentmindedly played with yours. Some days you were more than happy to stay in your chambers at the palace, safely locked away from the outside world and tucked up against each other, so tangled together it was hard to see where you started and Loki ended, the day passed in a blur of softly spoken words and gentle kisses.

You knew you shouldn’t have let yourself grow attached, knew it was dangerous to fall in love with the God and yet the thing was you couldn’t stop yourself from loving him, couldn’t contain the feelings you felt. You could only stand by and feel as they grew stronger and stronger with each stolen meeting. It wasn’t spoken aloud though, Loki knew how you felt just as you knew how he felt and that was enough, it had to be enough because there couldn’t be anything else.

You knew he wasn’t yours, no matter how easy it was to pretend in the moments you had together and yet when the news broke you felt like your heart had been ripped out of your chest and immediately felt the hollow emptiness from where it had once been, felt your blood go cold and you had to fight to stay standing, to not let your knees give out. Tears filled your eyes but you had to blink them away, you couldn’t let them fall until you were back in your chambers, alone.

“Prince Loki of Asgard is to be married to Princess Astra of Svartalfheim on the eve of the sixth day.”

The announcement caused an immediate reaction around you, people cheered and celebrated and you had never felt more alone surrounded amongst so many. Loki wasn’t yours, he had never been.

As you pushed your way through the celebrating crowds you couldn’t help the small spark of anger that seemed to ignite in you, a sudden emotion that contrasted so harshly with the emptiness it caused to pause for a moment before continuing to make your way to your chambers. You couldn’t help but feel betrayed, sure you knew that you and Loki had never belonged to each other, that the many months you’d spent at each other's side didn’t mean anything to anyone else but you thought they meant something to him. You hated that you’d had to hear about the news just as every other person had, you thought you at least deserved to be warned, to hear it from the man himself and yet when you had seen him only that morning he made no mention of his upcoming big day.

The second you entered the safety of your rooms your back hit the closed door and you couldn’t stay standing any longer, sitting on the floor, back against the door as the tears finally flooded down your cheeks, sobs leaving you and if anyone could hear the sobs coming from you they would send a chill down their spine. They were the kind of sobs nobody ever wanted to hear, gut wrenching and ones that spoke of true loss, of having the one person you cared deeply for ripped away from you, the person you loved snatched from your grasp.

You couldn’t say just how long you stayed curled against the door, tears finally seeming to run dry and you could do nothing but sit there, staring ahead, unseeing as your mind continued to play the news on a continuous loop that was sure to drive you insane.

At some point you managed to drag yourself up, managed to set yourself down on your sofa but couldn’t do more than that. You couldn’t bring yourself to deal with the news, couldn’t bring yourself to do more than sit and think about everything, about how foolish you were, how somebody like you, somebody who was nothing in the eyes of royalty, had fallen for the Prince himself. It was a foolish, reckless thing and yet even with all the hurt and anger and betrayal you felt, you knew you wouldn’t take a single second of it back, wouldn’t change a single moment of your time together and if all you had left was the memories of Loki then that had to be enough.

The frantic knocking at your door shouldn’t have startled you as much as it did but you were so absorbed in your own thoughts that you jumped at the noise. There was only one person it could be and you hesitated before standing only to stop at the door, hand on the handle debating if you should open it.

“Please Y/N,” You heard Loki call softly and had to clasp a hand over your mouth, somehow just hearing his voice was enough to bring on a fresh wave of tears. “Please darling, let me explain.”

Loki waited a moment before sighing so softly that it couldn’t be heard from your side of the door. He leaned against the wall next to your door as he began talking again, knowing that everything had fallen to pieces. How had he been at your side only a few hours earlier, easy smiles as you basked in the soft glow of the morning light, soft words spoken between you and even softer kisses shared before the two of you were forced up by your duties.

“You have to believe me, darling, I didn’t know.” Loki swore and you couldn’t help the small sob that escaped you as you listened to him. “I had no idea, not until I was called into the throne room, not until I was being introduced to her, to my new wife.”

The last three words were snarled out, his tone shifting from that soft, light one he always seemed to use around you to one you knew was usually reserved for arguments with Odin. It gave you hope that he truly was clueless to the news, made you think he did treasure your time together as much as you did.

“You had to know I tried to fight it, to fight for us, but it’s no use, not against Father.” He sighed and frowned, you, yourself, sniffing as you tried to still your tears. “It isn’t even to secure peace between our Kingdoms, not that that would make this better but at least it would be for something. No, this is entirely Father’s doing, another way for him to control my life. I didn’t want this, my darling, if you believe nothing else I’ve said, please believe that.”

You did believe it, you had to believe it because if you didn’t then that meant that every moment you had spent together, every moment you held close to your heart had meant nothing to him. With watery eyes you took a deep breath and pulled the door open causing Loki to look up at you through wide, apologetic eyes.

Not caring about any of the palace stuff who could be loitering around their chambers Loki pulled you into his arms, the feeling of safety and warmth and home so overwhelming that tears slid down your cheeks again much to your annoyance, you were so fed up with crying and yet you couldn’t stop them from falling.

Loki held you close, tucking you under his chin and refusing to let go even as he walked the two of you into your chambers, ignoring the sofa and leading the two of you to your bed. He didn’t waste any time pulling you down, shifting you against him so you were both comfortable as you buried your face in his chest, fists clenching the fabric of his clothes as you cried and he hated he could do little else but hold you close, murmuring soft apologises as he waited for your tears to calm.

“Must you get married?” You asked him quietly, well aware of the answer and asking it anyway.

“I’m afraid I have no say in the matter.” He told you with an unamused chuckle, frowning when you looked up at him with teary eyes. “Believe me, darling, if it were up to me it’d be you walking down that aisle this weekend.”

The words that were meant to comfort you sent an ache through your chest, if it were up to you it’d be you too but both of you were powerless. Somehow Loki was a Prince and he held as much control as you, a simple commoner who happened to work in the palace.

“I wish it were me too.” You whispered to him before burying your face in his chest, holding him tightly as if to ingrain the feeling of him into your mind because soon enough that would be all you had of him, memories, and the ghost of him against your skin doomed to haunt you for the rest of your days.

Loki’s own arms tightened around you. When he had first made his way down to your chambers he had been furious, people moved as he stalked through the corridors as he seethed at the sudden news. News, he had been informed, that had been announced to the whole Asgard as he himself heard it and all he could think of was you hearing it, thinking of the betrayal you must have been feeling thinking he had known. Now as he held you he only felt weak, he wished he could stand up to Odin, wished he could stop this marriage before it could begin but he was powerless, there was nothing he could do.

Hours passed between the two of you in silence. There were so many words that needed to be said and yet neither of you wanted to break the silence, neither of you wanted to acknowledge the truth of the situation. Here in your chambers it was easy to pretend that the outside world wasn’t there, like Loki’s soon to be wife wasn’t outside of your doors somewhere.

But the truth was she was and in just four days the two of them would be married and soon enough to Loki you would be nothing but a distant memory whereas to you Loki would always be your everything. Loki had a duty as Prince and if Odin demanded him to marry a Princess then how could Loki argue with that.

You had always known nothing would, nothing could come of your relationship with Loki but you had always hoped for more time, hoped something would change that allowed you to keep Loki to yourself. He was a Prince though and Princes didn’t marry people like you, they married Princesses, beautiful Princesses who grew up in palaces, surrounded by every luxury someone like you could only dream about.

And yet Loki had still chosen you, he had told you he’d rather it be you walking down the aisle. You had nothing to offer him, you weren’t anything special, you had no status, no family riches or power and yet he still wanted you. He was here with you now instead of with the Princess.

You pulled away from his chest, just far enough so that you could look up at him, watching as he smiled softly down at you before he brought a hand up to brush a stray piece of hair away from your face, his hand drifting to cup your cheek, thumb brushing delicately under your eye and you couldn’t help but lean into the touch.

“I wish it was you.” He repeated his words from earlier softly, so softly that if you hadn’t been this close to him you would have missed them.

Instead of replying you leaned up and closed the short distance between the two of you, brushing your lips against his before he pulled you closer, deepening the kiss but keeping it soft. His hand stayed on your cheek, his thumb brushing against your skin every so often and you only pulled away when the need for air became too much, resting your foreheads together as you caught your breath.

It wasn’t fair to say it, not now. The two of you both knew how you felt, those three words didn’t need to be spoken, not when you’d both known how much more it would hurt to leave each other once those words had been said but you couldn’t just not say them. You had to say them out loud at least once, he had to hear the words from your lips, it wasn’t enough for him to just know, you had to say them.

“I love you, Loki.” You whispered the confession, eyes still closed from the kiss.

Loki was silent for a moment and you opened your eyes, catching sight of the smile on his face, one that spoke of amazement, of overwhelming happiness at hearing those words before you were closing them again as Loki leaned down and kissed you. This time the kiss was deeper, it was wilder and messier but it didn’t go farther than that though it took both of you longer to pull away this time, the two of you panting for air as you finally separated.

“Darling, I love you,” Loki whispered back, leaning down to peck your lips a few times before pulling away but not going far, “I love you more than you could ever know. Knowing you, sharing our time together has been the best part of my life and it kills me that it won’t be you walking down that aisle. My heart aches when I think of agreeing to marry her when my heart belongs only to you. No matter what happens, it will always belong to you.”

You refused to cry, didn’t think you had anymore tears left in you but felt yourself choke up at his words. Loki didn’t give you a chance to react more than that before he was leaning down to kiss you again and you tried to memorise everything about it, how it was messy and hurried but soft, his hand still caressing your cheek as the other wrapped around your waist, holding you in place, the feeling of his hair running through your fingers as your other hand gripped the fabric of his clothes.

All too soon he was pulling away, letting his forward rest against yours as he looked at you, seemingly having the same idea of carving this moment into his mind, not knowing the next time you’d get to steal even a second alone together, not knowing if you ever would again once he walked out of your door.

“I have to go.” He told you apologetically and you took a breath, swallowing against the lump in your throat as you nodded. “I love you, my darling. No matter what is to come, remember that I love you.”

“I love you too.” You managed to choke out and he smiled at you sadly, leaning down for one last kiss, slow and soft and lasting for an eternity but ending too quickly.

Watching Loki leave was one of the hardest things you’d had to do until it wasn’t. How could Loki leaving be the hardest thing when the Queen called upon you and other trusted members of the palace staff to help her plan the wedding?

Here you were, broken with a shattered heart, barely holding it together only to be told you had to plan the wedding of the man you were in love with. It felt like a giant slap in the face as you were forced into the same room as the Princess, forced to watch as she giggled and twirled her hair, gushing about Loki and their future, of their love.

It took everything in you to not react, to force yourself to smile and nod, to force yourself to do as the Princess commanded, as she expected from somehow so very beneath her. You were involved in so many aspects of the wedding plans, responsible for making sure the bride was kept happy whilst you tried to block out your own feelings, feelings you would only allow yourself to feel and focus on when you were alone in your chambers, spending night after night alone instead of curled up in Loki’s arms.

You already disliked the Princess but being in her presence for most of the day actually gave you a real reason to not like her. She was, without a doubt, the most entitled person you’d ever met, always demanding something and God’s forbid something wasn’t done to her standards.

The day of the wedding finally arrived and you had seen very little of Loki. You had expected to see him quite often as you were assigned to the Princess and yet he seemed to be avoiding her, something she complained about often but you couldn’t help but smile as she ranted, a smug sense of satisfaction at knowing Loki wasn’t playing along with the wedding out of the public eye.

You walked into the room where the bridesmaids and her family were gathered in gowns that, quite frankly, were terrible. Considering the fact they were royalty you would have thought they’d be dressed impeccably and instead each person in the room wore dresses that didn’t seem right for the occasion in colours that didn’t complement them.

The Princess was yelling at one of the bridesmaids causing you to barely suppress an eye roll. You had no love for any of them, as you spent time with them you quickly realised where the Princess got her rudeness and entitlement from.

Loki deserved much better than being forced to marry her.

The Princess herself looked no better, her dress reminded you of a pastry, one of the fancy ones you’d served at many of the royal events. It seemed to swallow her small frame up, puffing out and making her look strange. Not the type of dress that would complement the suit Loki would be in at all and yet it seemed fitting for them to not complement each other, the two were so different that you couldn’t help but sigh softly, Loki shouldn’t be marrying her, she was completely the wrong girl for him but what could you do, it wasn’t like you could stop the wedding.

That thought had you tensing, standing straight as your shoulders squared back. You couldn’t stop the wedding, except you technically could. Even royal weddings asked if anybody had any reason the two should not be married and you had a whole list of them.

But you couldn’t stop a royal wedding, right?

The thought had planted itself in your head, the seed already beginning to grow until it was all you could think about and as you stood of to the side you couldn’t help but lose yourself in the daydream of actually stopping the wedding, of seeing Loki’s face when he realised he didn’t have to marry the dreadful Princess.

As the Princess snapped your name you shook your head, forcing yourself back to reality, a reality where you would never speak up, where you were not brave enough to stand up in front of the massive crowd that had already begun to gather, people from all the realms coming together for the wedding.

There was no way you could stop it.

And yet when you found yourself standing in the throne room, eyes locked on Loki as everyone waited for the bride to come out you wanted nothing more than to stop this whole event. He looked absolutely breath-taking, looking like the epitome of what a Prince should look like, the black suit lined with dark green detailing, nothing but the finest and richest fabric for the youngest Prince.

Loki’s eyes had immediately found you in the crowd and his mask slipped for a few seconds as his face filled with sadness, with sorrow and longing, looking for all the world like he’d rather be anywhere else. You wished he was anywhere else too, probably hidden away by your side. There was nothing you could do though except force a smile onto your face that probably came out much sadder than you intended, unable to put on a brave face for him.

Music filled the room and everybody rose from their seats, your eyes lingered on Loki for a second longer before you tore your gaze away to look at the Bride. She waved to the crowds and you barely refrained from rolling your eyes and you turned back to Loki just in time to catch the blink and you’d miss it smirk he threw your way.

Knowing he wished it was you in her place made watching her harder somehow, knowing that he was being forced into a marriage he didn’t want, especially when he had found the person he really did want to spend the rest of his days with. It made the idea of you speaking up more and more appealing but unfortunately that would have to remain a daydream.

Tears filled your eyes as the ceremony started, hearing their words, the Princess' eager and high pitched voice spoke of love and happiness whereas Loki kept his voice neutral, careful not to show his true feelings but not giving anyone the satisfaction of seeming happy with the situation. As he spoke words that had been written for him and approved by Odin he kept glancing at you, wishing he were standing up here with you, speaking true words of love and hope and of a future together.

“We stand before these two people today to celebrate the bond and the love they share. We witness the beginning of a long and happy future, this day their promise and commitment to each other, a promise to grow old together, to stand at each other's side forever, to help each other grow stronger. There will be challenges but nothing their love cannot overcome.”

The words of the officiant had you choking back tears and Loki allowed himself another moment of weakness as the officiant spoke of his future with Astra, let his mask fall again as he looked down, tears filling his eyes as he glanced at you. He saw you were holding it together as well as he was and wished things were different, wished some miracle would happen to get him out of this.

Gods, how he wished it were you.

You had to drown the man's words out, had to look away from the officiant, from the Princess and from Loki himself, his grief sending more pain to your heart as you tried to blink away your tears. When you glanced up you had to take a shaky breath as you met Loki’s teary gaze, the God looked miserable and heartbroken. This wasn’t what Loki deserved, he was the best person you knew, under all his posturing and defences he had the best heart of anyone you’d ever met and Odin forcing him into this made you furious.

“If there is anybody in this room that objects to this marriage, speak now or forever hold your peace.” The officiant said and you took a sharp breath as your eyes snapped over to the man.

Loki had looked back down at this point, missing the look on your face that showed the debate you were having in your head. You only had a split moment to make a decision, stay silent and let Loki marry this girl who wanted nothing good from him, allow him to waste his days in a loveless marriage or speak now and give him the chance to leave, to come with you. Sure, it’d be embarrassing standing in front of all these people, objecting to a royal wedding but if that was the cost of Loki and your happiness then maybe it was worth it.

The only question was should you speak now or could you forever hold your peace?

Before you could even register what you were doing you were pushing yourself from your seat, gasps spread across the room as every person turned to look at you, horrified looks on each of their faces but you didn’t care, you didn’t see them.

All you saw was Loki’s head shoot up, his eyes widening as he looked over at you, the sad, grief filled look wiped from his face replaced by a weary hopefulness and you knew in that moment you had made the right decision.

“I object.” You said, more gasps spread across the room, Odin turned to look at you with a furious look whilst Frigga had a hint of a smile on her face. Loki’s face was still the only one you were focused on watching as the biggest, brightest smile spread across his face, lighting his whole being up and you couldn’t help but smile back, missing the glare from the Princess.

“I am not the type of person who should be rudely barging in on a white veil occasion, not even a little bit. I’m nothing more than some commoner who has no right to be standing here interrupting this wedding but Loki, you’re not the type of man who should be marrying the wrong girl.” The Princess let out an insulted noise of protest but neither of you paid her any mind, completely absorbed in each other as everyone continued to stare at you. “Don’t say yes to her, not if you don’t love her. Come with me instead, I’ll meet you at the palace doors and we can go wherever you want so long as you don’t say yes.”

The room was deathly quiet as every head turned to Loki as they waited for his response, surely he would tell this delusional fool that he loved the Princess and to have you thrown out for daring to object to the joyous occasion.

Instead Loki’s smile got even wider and everyone in the room gawked at him as he spoke.

“I won’t say yes to her, not when my heart belongs to you, not when you’re the one I want to spend the rest of my days with, the one I want to grow with. You are the only one for me. I’m so glad you were around, so unbelievably happy you were here when he said speak now. I don’t need you to meet me at the palace doors, we can leave together.” Loki said, his words causing you to grin as everyone looked between the two of you in utter disbelief, the Princess finally snapped back to herself and started protesting loudly, throwing her bouquet down and demanding Loki marry her.

Loki ignored her and walked away from the aisle, stopping as Odin grabbed his arm. There was only a moment but your heart stuttered, terrified at what Odin would do but Loki just shook him off and continued walking up the aisle. As he got to you he held a hand out and you beamed at him, taking his hand, and shuffling past the guests in your way.

All eyes were on the two of you as you left but you didn’t notice or care and the two of you radiated happiness as you walked out of the doors of the palace, only stopping when you saw Heimdall stood by a hovercraft, not looking the least bit surprised to see the two of you.

“Had a feeling you’d be needing this.” Heimdall said and you watched as Loki rolled his eyes but there was no malice behind the action and his smile stayed on.

“Of course you did.” He snarked causing Heimdall to laugh before gesturing for the two of you to get into the vehicle. “Thank you.”

“You are most welcome. I am glad you chose her.” Heimdall told him honestly, sending a wink your way causing you to laugh as you looked up at Loki who made his way to the front of the craft, ready to pilot it.

“As I am.” Loki smiled softly at you and the two of you said goodbye to the man just in time for a flood of people to leave the palace.

Loki grinned at you before getting the two of you as far away from the palace as quickly as possible. It wasn’t long before you pieced together where Loki was taking you, it was a place the two of you had found two months into seeing each other, a small cabin far from anywhere else. The place hadn’t been used for many years but you and Loki had spent many afternoons cleaning it up and many more nights there together.

You couldn’t think of a better place to start the next chapter of your life with Loki, one that you knew would be filled with all the things the officiant had spoken about, one to be filled with love and trust and happiness, one where you could grow together, to better each other and start your future together.

You were really glad you had trusted your gut and spoke up, knowing that you never would have been able to hold your peace, not when it meant robbing both you and Loki of the future you both deserved.

Characters: Loki, Bucky and Reader(Y/N)

Chapters: 1/1

Warnings: smut, threesome

Words: 3k

“So this is a device which if it’s pressed it will let me know immediately that you need help and an Iron Man suit will be sent to yo,”

“Tony, can you chill?” You raise an eyebrow at the man you have been dealing with since 5 years ago.

“Y/N, look, we have agreed to do this only if you’re aware of,”

“All the danger yea, I got it. Trust me, there’s no one more horrifying to consult than you,” you place on the table the files of your new two pacients.

You have been Tony’s psychologist for 5 years and you’re one of the few persons he could trust blindly. You’ve been dealing with his problems for a long time now so you are not unfamiliar with the Avengers and all the things they’ve been doing. He first chose you because you were freshly graduated therefore he could prove to Pepper that he is getting help, and on the other hand, he thought he could have gotten rid of you easily since you were new. But much to his displeasure, your young age and inexperience made you more stubborn and that’s how you became the only person he opened to for professional help. You have dealt with his nightmares about Thanos, the truth about his parents’ death, the fight with Cap and so on. That doesn’t mean, of course, that everything always works smooth. Actually, most of the time you are arguing with him to listen to your advice and you’re always faced with his sarcastic attitude, but somehow, you’ve managed to improve his mental health and he is recently making progress.

And now, you were his only choice to help with this matter. Tony came two days ago in your office, not for a consultation, but with a proposal. He made sure you knew everything you were getting into, with lots of papers and safety procedures. Short explanation, he needed someone whom he could trust and in the same time someone who’s in the psychology field to help the new two “messed up” additions to their team, Bucky Barnes aka the Winter Soldier and Loki aka The God of Mischief. Now, you first laughed in his face because he was actually thinking that those two would accept Tony’s offer to get help from a psychologist but as you saw his serious look you took it granted. You did understand Bucky’s situation, in the end, he was a human before being tortured and manipulated by Hydra, but Loki? A God? To a psychologist? If it wasn’t for Thor who gave you more details in order to understand that Loki is actually emotionally unstable, you would have thought that there must be some tricks behind Loki’s reasons. But then you also found out that he was forced by Thor and Tony in order to stay on Earth to restore Asgard so he barely had any choice to this matter. As for Bucky, he did and did not want to get help. Yes, they’ll be surely a pain in the ass, both of them. Now you got three problematic men with no wish to get better. A great career you’ve got.

“Very funny, Y/N,” Tony rolls his eyes and sits on the sofa in front of you. “I might be annoying but I would never hurt you in any way.”

“Tony, c’mon. I am a psychologist, I am taking a lot of risks with every pacient.”

“I’m sure it’s something trivial for you… to have killers as pacients,”

“Tony!”

“I mean, they are killers if you consider from every point of view,”

“Ok. Bring me those two big bad wolves tomorrow and just let me do my job.”

“Are you sure about this? You can change your mind if you,”

“Yes, I am. Now, anything else you would like to share?”

“See you tomorrow then,” he sits up and before looking worriedly in your direction, he leaves the room.

That’s how you’ve started to work with Bucky and Loki. The first sessions were very awkward and silent. Bucky was barely talking with you and Loki, besides his first three sessions when he did not show up, he was continuously making unnecessary remarks. You’ve then decided to have two sessions per month when you would meet with both of them in the same time, trying to keep them up-to-date with everything trending and “human” (for Loki). You also had the role to make their lives easier since everything around them is new and unknown.

So today, you had to explain to them some slang and “interests” that people have about relationships, including kinky content. You’ve been organizing this session for a long time because you didn’t want to make them feel insulted but you were also flustered especially when you by yourself weren’t very satisfied recently. And you couldn’t deny that these two men are gorgeous. You have never looked at your pacients in that way, but there was something about this two. Are you also idiotically falling for bad boys like the girls you wanted to talk about today? You shudder at the thought, how old are you, Y/N? What the hell are you thinking about? You kept thinking about this and last night had a worrying dream from which you woke up extremely unsatisfied. It was you between two strong lean bodies.

*BEFORE YOU ENTERING THE OFFICE*

“Today’s meeting is going to be interesting,” Loki sits next to Bucky who is looking confused at him.

“There’s something about how humans interact with each other…sexually,” Loki accentuates the last word and Bucky furrows his eyebrows.

“So?” He finally answers.

“I paid her a visit last night and it seems she has another type of lesson in mind for us. Or should I say she wants to practice it?” he wiggles his eyebrows.

“Whatever, creeper,” Bucky still tries to analyze Loki’s words.

“Yea, well you aren’t exactly the most normal person out of us,” Loki mutters. “Let me show you,” before Bucky protested Loki’s hand landed on his forehead, showing him the dream he had caught you having last night.

Flufftober - Day 15

If the Avengers expected to be greeted to the compound’s common room by any way, it wouldn’t be like this.

"I want that woman out of my house!", you yelled to a teary Loki, who held his hands up to reach you from afar.

Tony and Steve looked at each other without much clue of what to do. You and Loki never fought, much less with… was that a knife in your hand? And Loki was... covered in blood?

“My love, I can explain”, he tried walking to you, but you walked back. You were bursted out in tears. “She’s…”.

“Don’t! You! Dare! Lying! To me!”, you growled, hatred consuming you, accentuating each word with a step towards him, and this time around, he took some steps back in fear you’d actually stab him out of anger. “You lying scum piece of shit! You’ve been cheating on me, haven’t you?”.

“I…”, Loki stuttered, now his back almost against the wall. Bruce seemed to be the only one who actually cared for Loki not to get stabbed, instead of appearing to be in need of popcorn, like the rest of the team.

“Say you didn’t, you’ll get yourself killed, idiot”, whispered Nat, as who whispers to the TV.

“Who are they talking about?”, whispered Bucky, rubbing his hands in expectation. “Sounds fun”.

“You lied to me!”, you yelled in between tears.

“I did”, he cried in desperation, desiring to grab your wrists to stop the knife from puncturing his throat.

“You poisoned me!”.

“I did”.

“He did what?!”, intervened Tony, but none of you paid any mind to him.

“You said you love me!”.

“I do”, he said. “I love you, you need to listen to me”.

“You cheated on me, what could you possibly say that…?”.

“I have. I’m sorry”, he admitted, and you froze in place. “Please, forgive me. She meant nothing to me… we were… I…”, he kept stuttering, some tears escaping his puffy eyes.

“You’re still lying, I can tell”, you said, throwing the knife to the floor and laying on the couch in defeat. “Do you love her?”.

“I do. I’m in love with her, always have been”, he muttered, and every single one of the Avengers gasped. Tony was ready to put his suit on, not so amused to hear his kid was being heartbroken by that bastard. Steve held him in place.

“If there’s a woman in the room, you’d want to get her out first”, he suggested in a whisper, as to not harm anyone involved except Loki.

“Were you ever going to tell me?”, you asked with a thin voice, looking him directly in the eyes. He sat by your side and grabbed your hands firmly, as if it were the last time he’d ever get to touch your delicate fingers.

“I wasn’t…”, he admitted, lies he could no longer hold, coming out like a torrent. “I only wanted you to use you. It benefitted me to date one of the Avenger’s kids and you were the easiest one to charm, because…”, he laughed through a sob, “because you’re so easy”.

“Alright, that’s it”, said Tony, putting his suit on and walking towards Loki, grabbing him by the neck and throwing him violently against the wall. The wall cracked and Loki let out a whine in protest. You yelled again, asking him to stop.

“It’s okay, I… I deserve it!”, said Loki dramatically. “They’ve been too good with me… I… tell her…”, he choked in between gasps as Tony closed his fist harder against his neck, “tell Adelaine that I love her”.

After saying that, he passed out. You ran up to him, still crying, and Tony backed up bewildered. Everyone ran towards him and scolded him, or yelled at him for having killed Loki.

“I barely pressed his neck! He’s not dead, come on!”, he defended himself. “JARVIS, take Loki’s vitals”.

“I’m afraid Loki Laufeyson is not presenting any vitals, Sir. It is too late to call the ambulance, but would you like me to call anyway? Or would you rather I call the morgue instead?”.

“WHAT?!”, it was his turn to panic now.

“Why would you do this, dad?! He was wrong, but I still loved him! You can’t just kill people for being bad!”, you sobbed uncontrollably, and Nat and Bucky hugged you and comforted you, while Bruce tried to take Loki’s vitals, just in case. He soon found out the truth.

“Uh… guys?”, he tried to say over the chaos that was reigning the compound, but Thor interrupted him by walking in and laughing.

“Come on, friends. Again?”, he asked while grabbing a box of Poptarts.

Everyone stared at him perplexed, as if asking are you not seeing your dead brother in here? Tony rushed to him and kneeled in front of him, pleading,

“Please, please forgive me, Thor. I’ve… I’ve killed Loki”.

Thor rolled his eyes and smirked, patting him on the shoulder a couple of times.

“You’re forgiven, Stark. You’re forgiven”, he said, and couldn’t avoid chuckling.

You changed your face as if pulling off a mask, and smiled with a pouty lip out, touching your heart.

“Aw, you’ve played along!”, you said, and everyone except Tony and Steve chuckled, realizing what happened. Loki got up from the floor and scoffed.

“We were doing so well, why did you break it?”.

“Sorry, I couldn’t help it. It was fun though”, you helped him up with your hand. “Thanks JARVIS”, you added. Bucky and Natasha clapped with a grin tattooed to their faces. You and Loki did a little reverence.

“What? Did you two just…?”, said Tony, more confused than angered.

“Ah, have they not done this in front of you already?” asked Thor. “They have this silly little tradition of doing some theatrical impression in front of people as a prank. Apparently they’ve managed to make JARVIS help, too”.

“Well, that would actually explain the weird clothing”, said Steve. Bucky and Natasha were still laughing, grabbing their stomachs, not being able to stop.

“You two are morons, you know that, right?”, sighed Tony, taking his suit off. “Scaring your weak-on-the-heart old man, I thought you’d do better”, he scolded at you sarcastically. “Anyway. Would you guys want to have chinese or pizza for dinner?”.

Trust Me

Pairing: Loki x reader

Word Count: 1,044

Summary: You are an agent with S.H.I.E.L.D. and are assigned on the case of Loki. What will your final judgment be?

Warnings: N/A, I believe.

A/N: Happy birthday to Tom Hiddleston! <3

Also, this is a bit irrelevant to the events of Thor: The Dark World; my apologies for that.

image

“I don’t understand,” the clipped, slightly accented and very much annoyed voice of Loki resonated in the empty room, and he fixed his piercing glare on you and his brother Thor, who shifted uncomfortably in his seat yet returned the Trickster’s cool look.

“I have paid my dues. I have understood the weight of my crimes and I have spent a sufficient amount of time in prison, thinking of what I did wrong and doing everything else expected of an inmate like me. Now that you need my assistance, why won’t you just let me out?” he insisted on the same argument he had gone over numerous times but always used slightly different words for. He enunciated every word clearly, as if he was speaking to two rather stubborn children instead of Thor and an experienced S.H.I.E.L.D. agent.

“We told you, Loki. You are too dangerous to be trusted. We just need the information,” Thor’s deep, loud, voice boomed and echoed in the confined space of the room you were in.

Loki frowned, his eyes scanning you carefully for anything that might be useful to him, and you allowed yourself to break character long enough to shrug apologetically at him, indicating that it wasn’t in your power to decide about his future.

Loki and you had a rather... interesting relationship that deviated from the usual one between an officer of the law and a criminal. You knew there was good inside him; you knew he had changed, and you knew that well. It had been only last night when, anxious about his interview with you and Thor, he had confessed all of his fears and insecurities to you and kissed you senseless.

There was no hint of the previous night’s desperation and vulnerability in him now. His posture was straight, regal -that of a king’s- and his expression was neutral, almost bored.

“I don’t have the information,” Loki said sharply, the sound of his voice drawing you back to reality. “But I have a way of finding it that would require countless hours of research -and that could only be possible if I were free to go to the palace library,” he said, meaningfully rattling the handcuffs that tied his hands together.

Thor and you shared a look at that and, without a word, you got up and walked out of the room.

“Whatever shall we do, Lady Y/N? I am afraid that Loki is right -we need his help, and it is obvious that the only way to ensure that is to free him. But he is dangerous, and both Asgard and Midgard alike would be enraged if they found out about this. The threat of another of his attacks is too big, and the fear too fresh in the people’s minds. We can’t just cut him loose,” Thor said with a sigh. “I wouldn’t want for my first big and crucial decision to be a failure, but I also cannot let this mission fail, and without Loki’s help, disaster would be imminent.”

You thought for a bit. You, of course, wanted Loki’s freedom. You’d seen a reformed Loki in the cage the previous night, and you wanted the world to understand that he indeed was different.

“Nobody said that the world has to know. And we don’t have to cut him loose either. He asked for a way out of that cage, but any place -if guarded properly- can become a prison. You can convert his rooms into a heavily guarded holding place and you can gradually give him more and more freedom until he either convinces you of his change or gives you a reason to throw him back in jail,” you suggested, and Thor’s frown turned into a smile.

“That’s brilliant -and exactly what we are going to do. But I have to ask a small favour of you. Could you watch him while he does his research? You’re intelligent enough to keep him under control,” he said.

It was your turn to smile. “Certainly. It’d be my pleasure.”

Half an hour later, you were standing near a table inside a vast, seemingly endless, library with Loki next to you. You were so caught up in the mystery and sheer mass of the books that surrounded you that at first you didn’t notice Loki’s piercing gaze.

“What is it?” you asked him, and he continued to look at you in that way that made you feel as if he was reading you. In the end, frustrated, he heaved a sigh.

“It must’ve been you who convinced Thor to give me this -however limited- amount of freedom,” he said, and you smiled, understanding the underlying message. ‘Thank you.’

“I just... I trust you,” you replied, and he chuckled.

“Not a wise decision on your part. I’m a criminal.”

It was your turn to fix him with a piercing glare. “Yes, you are, but I believe you’ve seen that what you did wasn’t right. I believe that a part of you -if not all of you- has changed,” you said firmly, moving closer to him. “I always had my doubts when it came to what everyone said. Last night only helped reassure me. Loki, give me no reason to distrust you, and I won’t,” you told him, and you were happy to see a small, rare, smile appear on his lips.

“Last night... it was good,” you said hesitantly, and his smile turned into a more predatory one. He walked closer to you, backing you up against the table and trapping you between its cold surface and his body.

“But this night can be better,” he muttered, leaning closer to you and pressing his lips on yours. His tongue licked your lower lip and you gave a small moan, opening your mouth to allow him access. The kiss was heated, passionate and needy, very much unlike the previous night’s tender caresses.

“I like the way you trust me,” he muttered as he pulled away, and you barely managed to stifle a whimper at the sight of his heated gaze.

“Always,” you muttered back, and he smirked.

“What do you say we postpone research for a while?” he suggested and, not waiting for a response, leaned closer to capture your lips with his.

how sad is it, that i'm dancing alone? - ex!spy!loki x bibi

"you look...dead"

"it's 45 degrees outside, bibi."

loki rubs and opens his eyes to find a messy haired bibi, judging him over her glasses. he can vividly remember the day she got them, gushing over how she looked like a typical kid in their early teens. she's all grown up now, he has too, he has noticed.

he blinks his eyes to see her more clearly, only to find himself squinting at fine dust particles. he sighs, the heat still evident in the room, including her presence.

he monotonously checks his phone, just to leave everyone on seen, not even bothering to reply to even his closest friends. he doesn't want anything to do with them, they remind him of simpler times. times when he wasn't staring off into space, times when he had someone on his bad days, times when he had someone by his side.

his phone keeps notifying him with various notifications, calling him back to his old job. how could he, without his partner-in-crime by his side? he vowed he would never go back, find himself a better job to help the world in a better way. it would be easy for his superiors to replace his partner, it would be easy to keep up his walls around them, not let them even through the tiniest crack, just like how bibi did.

she didn't slip through the gaps, no, that's highly uncharacteristic of her. she crashed them down, making them hubris. pulling up a depressed and frankly unimpressed loki, she showed him that, how many every gloomy clouds in the sky, the sun would always shine through.

he memorized everything she said, she did. he could map the freckles and acne on her face, drawing them with a black marker on her face, proudly showing off his newly found constellations, much to the amusement of bibi.

loki never thought someone would love him the way she did. they met in an unfortunate place, fortunately fell in love. for whatever reason they met, they loved, they lived. loki never opened himself immediately to her, still, she chose to never let go. he always prayed that she would be happy, cherished the days she was by his side, silently wishing and hoping that he could do that forever.

wishing? a childish concept to him. hoping? equally so. but he wished and hoped this was a fever dream, that he would wake up with continuous pillow hits to his face, that when he opens his eyes, he would see his love standing in front of him, cheeky smile adorning her face.

for whatever reason he owes to the higher ups, he's glad that he met someone like her. that he had the chance of loving someone so wonderful. he's glad that she was there during his blissful and weary days. for whatever reason he hates the higher ups, he hates that she was taken away so quickly from him. he hates that it was in the same unfortunate place that he lost her. it happened so quickly, like how a bullet is released from it's grip from the gun.

memories of her play like a broken record, like the one bibi had bought from an antique shop, forcefully placing his hands on her waist, dancing to creaky old tunes the record crooned. he dances alone now, a drink in his calloused hand to keep him company, traces of her all over his place. he's back where he started now, alone.

a/n: tbh, would've preferred to write a dead loki, but i asked, @biancablack2474 said it would rather be her. she asked, i delivered. here's a fic dedicated to you, bibi !!! pls don't be a spy ahahah :P

Intimate Services: Featuring Expenses!Loki

image

You work in the administration department for Stark Industries in their London office, processing a slew of business expenses for everyone connected to The Avengers. One dismal Tuesday morning, you catch an out-of-policy item that you absolutely cannot let slide. A transaction with the label ‘Intimate Services’ by one Loki Laufeyson.

Words: 5,000 Contains: Fluff, flirting and comfort. Arrogant and mildly defensive Loki, if you squint.

Warnings: Strong language throughout. Sexual references. An ending so sweet it’ll give you tooth rot. A/N: Special special thanks to @lokisgoodgirl, who not only helped birth Expenses!Loki, but also helped me understand how to write Loki out-of-Asgard and what his demeanour would be like and how we could get him to soften. Thank you LGG, I love you!!

***

Intimate Services. Fucking hell. This guy’s literally hiring escorts on the company’s dime.

You closed the spreadsheet with Loki Laufeyson’s transactions for the past month, and reviewed the email in your drafts.

You proof-read your words for what was surely the 46th time, eyes flitting across the screen rapidly from left to right, before returning to the top of the email to once again scrutinize your introduction.

Dear Loki,

No, too romantic.

Loki Laufeyson.

With a full-stop? As an intro? Too aggressive. I’m way too British for that.

Good afternoon Sir,

Too impersonal. And Sir? What is it, 1893?

Hi Mr. Loki,

Fuck it. That’ll do. He’s probably not even awake, it’s the middle of the night in New York.

Right. Fine.

Just fucking send it.

Isn't Bite Also Touch?

(Loki X Female demon!reader)

Chapter seven! (check chapter 6!)

Summary: A lot of smut following, a bit of angst as they'll fight later on. Is there anything suspicious about the Angel?

Warnings: Smut!! Blasphemy, alcohol, fighting, (physical aggression, scratching) improper use of magic, slapping, verbal insults, screaming, probably a bit of voyeurism, (but not really? Loki's pretty possessive, he's just really mad) hate-sex, rough fuck, mean Loki.

Isn't Bite Also Touch?
Isn't Bite Also Touch?

“Not the shoes!” Thor exclaimed scandalously as he watched the scene.

Loki makes a disgusted sound with his throat, stepping carefully and processing the fact there was demon vomit on his new, expensive, on-brand shoes. Messily, as he's still groggy with all the alcohol on his system, he lifts his hand up the air and magically removes the offending substance off his shoes.

“Be careful next time.” He harshly commands, but you're still dizzy and fighting to remain steady, trembling on your feet, his eyes soften as he sees your state. “Is it better now? Do you need to go somewhere?” He asks and receives no answer from you.

“You've never really enjoyed my presence, have you?” The Angel speaks up. It's weird to see you looking so small. “And the first impression I have of you after all these years is of you throwing up, your body has gotten weak.” The Angel repulsively spits out, you refuse to look at him and pull an extremely confused Loki by his arms, dragging him out of there.

You two get together inside a tiny, hidden, locked room. Loki restlessly demands information of the angel who just appeared to ruin your party.

“Fuck it, I shouldn't have allowed myself to drink so much.” You put your hands on your head, feeling the stinging sensation.

“It was fun while it lasted, you have to admit.”

“You just liked seeing me lose control.” You bring up, still not looking at him.

“You always have control of everything.” He points out.

“Do I?” You smirk knowingly, licking your lips at his attitude. He looked all disheveled and your sudden unquietness within yourself made you want to explode. “Damn it, just take your fucking clothes off.”

“Excuse me?” He blinks and gapes a bit, looking stupid, and you resist the urge to roll your eyes. He takes off his shoes, and his hands jump to unfasten his shirt but he just hesitates until you say it again.

“You heard me, take them off.” You say and push his chest until his back lays against the soft, foreign bed. “Do you want me to do it for you?” You were out of patience and reaching to straddle his body beneath yours.

He gulps and proceeds to do as you say, fighting to take his shirt off his torso as quickly as possible, resisting the temptation to lift his hand and touch your skin after he's shirtless. He just keeps them there up beyond his reach.

Oh.

He's keeping his hands to himself, up his head, presenting his body to you. You give a diabolic smile that shows your pointy teeth, as you're close to salivating at the sight of his muscular pecs exposing his heavy breathing and very very warm sweat speckling down his skin.

You lean forward closer to his face, locking eyes with him, just to close your fingers around each of his wrists. Keeping it there lifted now with full control, just like he wanted, his pupils are dark and his eyes so pleasing you're starting to think you're drunk on something else.

He groans, closing his eyes in response from the pleasure of you squeezing his skin tight as you suffocate his senses with your body practically glued to his.

“Fuck.” It's all you can muster, you never could have guessed drunk-you would be so lacking for words. Maybe it's just his intoxicating aroma deafening your senses.

“Demoness,” he puts himself through a test and tries to let go of your hands. He succeeds and gives you a very bright malicious smile. “You temptress,” His eyes sparkle with malice as he hungrily watches your body burn under his fingertips. “My mistress bathed in sin.”

His hands snake down your skin and you allow it, for now. He's still smiling and still licking his lips at the sight of you on top of him. The moment stops for you as you notice his eyes sparkle a bit more as he admires.

Then he turns you around and pins you under his body, with all the pressure he can apply. And you try to squirm out but it's like his body is made of iron with how heavy he is on top of you, locking you beneath him.

His hellish amusement is there and now you grunt out to the air.

“I allowed it,” you brag.

“Of course you did, you're just a horny stupid little thing, aren't you?” You get red from his words, but he doesn't relent, and he can sense you're starting to shake a little. “You'd let me do all the work.”

“You can't–”

“Can't what?” His hips grind against yours, both of you still clothed but craving, dying for the friction. “Can't what? You brought me here, wouldn't want to ruin the party for me, would you, little one? No…” He runs his mouth down the skin of your neck to your breasts, and his cold breath is making you shiver. “No, you have something to give me.” He almost orders. And you spread your leg a little wider in invitation, he pulls your dress up and his hands start kneading your ass.

Your teeth are gritted in response to his degrading words. But you just swallow your defenses, both of your dizzy drunken brains managing to make the situation much simpler as you just allow him to take control.

He is visibly excited for this, preparing you with his touching, delighting on your sounds and huffs of pleasure, “Are you okay? Is this okay?” he frowns a bit as he remembers, waiting patiently as you can read the underlying question: do you truly want this? Are you sober?

Your heart palpitates faster, your gaze is dazzled with wonder, noticeable for a while, as you stare into his questioning but patient eyes. You're okay, you know you are, but you're more than pleased to know he's a man of morals even when you can feel how horny he is, pulsing against the skin of your thighs.

Also, it's not very often that you see gods being morally correct. Or not just caring about themselves, if there's one thing you've been impressed with since the beginning, it's about how Loki, somehow, always cares for you, even when he pretends he doesn't.

“I'm ok, it's ok.” You consent, nodding a little, and wait a moment in silence. “Are you ok?”

He seems lost while gazing hungrily at your body, his mouth open as he unconsciously unleashes his breathing. Grasping you a bit too hard around your hips, he looks into your eyes again. “Yes, yes I am.”

It's the last thing you hear before he dives between your thighs, looking feral as he admires your glistening pussy, he silently wonders if he's been bewitched, for he felt starved from your delicious cunt and it's only been an hour —if he still remembers properly. But damn it now, he doesn't care about anything else but you and your scent, poisoning his system.

He curses a Nordic profounity, “Fuck, fuck. Demoness, you're killing me now, I'm sure of it. You're poisoning me,” he states and you push him to eat you out, forcing his words to an end as you smile up to the ceiling so adoringly, feeling his skilled tongue pleasing you.

“I wouldn't kill you,” You breathe out shaking. Soon you wouldn't be able to even feel your legs as they're numbing from overstimulation, your body recalling the early hours of the party. You moan loudly as you jolt from the thought and from Loki's tongue hitting your sweet spot.

When he pulls out, there's your essence tainting his lips, you curse out to all the princes of Hell. They could be damned now, you'd let this god do anything to you, if kept looking at you like you carry the whole world, eating you out like you're the best thing his lips ever tasted.

Loki keeps your thighs well spread out for him, giving a kiss to your stomach, and your heart waves at the soft touch. That was so cute, to you. He keeps kissing and licking the area, giving small bites at times when noticed you got too ticklish, or squirmed more under his touch.

When his body went up his kisses came too, and you felt the head of his cock move up and down to drown in your juices, coming close to your clit just to tease and moving down, slowly again.

“L-Loki,” You wave, quivering under his ferocious gaze. He licked his lips as he watched you like you're his last meal. His hand lands on your lower back. ”Please,” you gulp dumbly as you watch him. “Just fuck me.”

“Ask nicely.” He teases more, his hand close to holding you down by your neck. You whimper as you feel the head of his cock entering you, he takes a deep breath to keep his ground as he awaits your begging. Almost unable to contain himself, his jaw clenched and hands twitching, hurting your skin but you don't mind.

You force yourself to swallow your pride. Rolling your eyes a bit too harshly before feeling him pulling out and entering more of his cock into your sensitive cunt, you're unused to the size and your walls are stretched with a tad discomfort. He chuckles.

“Do you feel pain, little slut? Who would've thought, a dirty demon like you.” He cruelly mentions your visible, slight discomfort. Mocking.

You tilt your head to him, clenched jaw but pleading eyes still wanting to feel more of him despite the pain, the need to feel him deep inside you needing to be scratched.

“Please,” you keep going, jaw still clenched, you can pinpoint submissiveness to the alcohol, later. For now, you want him, all of him. “Please, please, please. Give me your cock.” Your hands clench around his shoulders as you bring him closer, he grants you your wish.

Your knees have given out and you feel helpless for the first time in so long, your whole body was pinned against him as he speared into you with such a furious intensity, getting so deep you gasped in utter surprise. His hands around your neck and a whispered sign down your earlobe to “Keep begging me,” and you're at a loss, babbling the sound of his name and the word 'please'.

He reaches around to touch your clit, matching his unforgiving pace, picking up his speed as he groans feeling you clench around him so deliciously. Small yelps left your throat with each of his harsh thrusts, you're a mess as your back arches closer to his chest.

His hand moves to hold your back carefully as he keeps heavily grunting onto your ear, his breathing deep and low voice demanding of your pleasure. He harshly grasps your skin with his nails, you scratch his back together from all the pressure hitting your sensitive cunt.

As he massages your clit, it makes you jolt under his touch with each stroke. His thrusts becoming more and more animalistic, brutal, he rams into you, your whole body is shaking roughly with his brutish pounding.

You can barely hear your own moaning as Loki fills all of your senses, he is everything you touch and his growls and grunts are all you hear. You two fill the quiet room with the sound of sex and moaning.

“Look at you,” he gloats. “You were so insistent upon not looking inferior, now you tremble beneath me.” He gives a slow, harsh thrust, to emphasize his point, your eyes roll and your mouth opens, almost drooling. “Pray to me.”

His words come out rough and too low timbre. your whole body shivers and your core tightens, burning from his words alone, he gets so fast-paced with his pounding you can't even catch a breath.

“W-w-wh-what?” You ask among his savage rhythm. Your mouth is in the shape of an 'O' as he pulls out only to slip even further inside you, if that's possible.

“You heard me,” He messily moves his hand from your back to pull your hair. It makes you remember the other time, when he refused to sleep with you. You give him a shameless, taunting smile.

He yanks your hair locking eyes with you, a deep moan escapes your lips in response. “Pray to me. Pray, and this God might save your devious soul. I'm the only God you have to think of.”

Little does he know, —although he should — but you don't have a soul to be saved. It's not like you're going to correct him now.

Your head moves back and forth mixing with his body smashing against your flesh, you don't fear the dizziness that'll install later, his fucking making you completely mindless.

You gulp and sob out, your brain struggling to remember how to speak through the fogginess of pleasure.

“In-In- nomine Patris, et- Filii, et Spiritus Sancti,” you start, broken Latin as you fight to remember what the prayers are—those that make your skin burn with their Grace— his punishing pounding getting worse and more frantic as your praying comes to life.

“T-t-tu es qu-qui jaces in-in-in Coelis, gratia plena,” your voice is trembling, fighting to keep the tone alive. You sob your tears from the sensitivity blinding your sight through the sinful act. The blasphemy drowning you, filling the pits of your stomach. “i-in omnibus nobis omnia praesens, omnium salvator.” You spit out the end, locking eyes with him.

“Adveniat regnum tuum. Fiat voluntas tua, sicut in caelo et in terra–” You trip over your words as he starts sucking and biting your neck.

He furiously rubs his hand against your clit. His voice strained to say the next words, his breaking point coming present as he pronounces all his Asgardian splendor.

“C-come, come now. Kom for meg, min lille djevel.” You scream and spasm around him, clutching all you can grab of him, wanting to feel as much as possible. You see stars as you cum around him, shaking, the squelching sound so sinful reaching your ears.

Loki growls near your jawline, his thrusts getting slack as he's closer to completion. He shudders, you feel his cock pulsing inside of you, filling you full with his warm cum.

Loki's breaths are labored as his thrusting slows down, riding his orgasm. When he pulls out, there's the trace of semen tainting your skin and trickling down your thighs.

You're panting heavily as he pulls you closer to him, his eyes never leaving yours, he leans forward to kiss you. You didn't even get to catch a breath as he changes your position and deepens the kiss.

Isn't Bite Also Touch?

You felt your body aching from the sex, your head was spinning from the damned alcohol you had last night. As much as it hurts to feel some pins and needles, you still had the new — horrifying—experience to feel human.

You don't know how you feel about that.

Lifting yourself as quickly as possible to hurry to the bathroom, as you feel nauseated, you suddenly remember your conditions and physically recoil from agony and disgust of yourself.

Throwing up? You've allowed yourself to throw up? Especially in front of your 'brother'? At a party filled with humans?

Outrageous, gross. You want to kill your human form and remove the skin to stop from feeling so dirty and humane. But all you can express outloud is a sincere grunt of annoyance, grabbing the skin of your stomach.

It takes some time, you arrive at the bathroom and contain your vomiting, using your magic to stop the sickness and the lightheadedness, throwing up now would make you simply refuse to exist.

It takes time for you to notice Loki's not in the room.

You take a look at the place, analyzing every detail you didn't notice before. And hurry to get out of there and find Loki.

You end up bumping into him as you walk out of that strange room, he looks you up and down, his mind rushes through the thoughts of your well-being, then he seems to put himself together. Clearing his throat.

His mind rushed through a series of nightmares he had last night, but they came to you as a bunch of blurred images.

The last time he had nightmares, he thought it was your fault, but after spending the night feeding off your delectable supernatural body he wondered how he could have such torturous, painful nightmares. Especially after such a long time since he had the company of anyone in his sleep.

It hit him like a plague, and ruined his mood, apparently that would never leave him.

“Morning.” Insouciant, why would that be?

“Good morning!” You exclaim, merry to see him. He looks confused. “Where were you going? I didn't see you. I'm pretty sure you still slept in the same bed as me last night.”

“That's none of your business.” Once again, you're facing the mean kitty. You sighed.

“You were much easier to deal with last night. You were very touchy, if I can say.” You remember him and all the clear touching you shared at the party and at the end of it.

“Look, just because I fucked you doesn't mean I feel anything for you, so you should stop looking for me.” He looked very serious as he said this, you suddenly feel so much of a feeling you've never felt before. Like cold water has just been poured down your good mood. A foreign feeling pounding into your chest.

Shame.

And he continues.

“It was a wonderful fuck, and I'd love to do it again, even though you're insufferable and… surprisingly weak for a being such as a demon, it makes me a bit disappointed, I expected more a bit more.” He tilts his head arrogantly as he dares to put you down.

You weren't expecting to feel such a weird pang in your heart from his words, it's not sadness, but anger instead. Your face fell and you closed your fist around your chest.

“I've only never left because you never truly wanted me to go away,” you give him a fake smile, your eyes burning, denying the tears. “You may say whatever you want, but you know you've always been alone and the one that's never picked. The last option, the second, unwanted child, I know. Always the shadow of another, you delight yourself upon the attention I give you.” You close your mouth but look very sour, wanting to hurt him.

“I could say the same of you,” He says through gritted teeth and clenched jaw. Pointing towards you in spite. “Your 'brother' made you throw up last night, who are you to say you're not also unwanted? Is that the main reason you seek attention from me? Because you crave it? Or is it because you can't let me go? You've said it yourself, demon, your attraction to my powers, to my magic, to me. It doesn't make you want to go away, so what do you have to say? Your infatuation makes you weak and predictable. I've said this from the start, you're the one that's been too fucked dumb until you forgot this fact.” He spits it all out, looking down at you, his eyes looking so sharp like knives.

“You know nothing about me.” You say coldly, breaking your charismatic endeavor.

“You've shown me your cards a long time ago, little demon. I know how you work,” He's too proud, you burn with rage. “I could use your body like my personal sex toy and you wouldn't even deny me, would you? Having my personal demon slave to break until you cry, that's how emotional you are, you'd probably just break down to pieces. Are you having fun with the humans? Are they making you as pathetic as they are? Do you want to save the world with them, do you think any sensible human on this planet would consider you a hero?” His voice trembles as he says the last sentence.

The next noise that the room echoes is a sudden snap, Loki's face red, burning from the mark of your violence. You slapped him.

Your gaze is distant as you watch his surprised eyes burning with agitation from having startled you. You're suddenly filled with anger to a point you start hitting his chest.

He can prevent all the attacks, and he doesn't take it seriously, you'd probably scare a mortal but Loki's way too egotistical now, all your early compliments of his powers feeding into his image of being superior, mistakenly thinking he's superior to you.

And over all of this, he's convinced he hates you. He can feel the scratches stinging and marking their presence on his pale arms as you tried to attack with your bare hands.

He loses composure and falls with you on top of him, your hands squeeze his arms harshly, craving your nail into his skin, purposefully strong enough and wanting to make it bleed. It pleased you.

He leaves a hiss as he locks your hands again, but he can still feel the scratching and gripping and hitting throughout other parts of his body.

“How are you doing this?!” He exclaims feeling the punches still hit him as he holds down your fists.

It's comparable to a ghostly touch, it's aggressive, freezing and scorching at the same time, you were all like the demon you're supposed to be. Exposing the anger and the punishment against his skin being the victim.

“You're only scared because you know I hold the truth.” He says.

“You can't offend me, Laufeyson. I only give you what you deserve,” You spit on him, and he backs off, leaving your hands free as you get angrier on top. “You can't, I know every one of your sins, I know your fears.”

“You don't know what I am,” he said sadly, trying to keep a stable look. “You don't.”

“I know you're the spoiled child here, not me.” You say, “You act like you're so tortured but you've had everything in life and you're nothing but a spoiled little prince that deserves nothing but cruelty, so you'll know how others feel.” You look into his eyes as you're wishing to hurt him. “Maybe I should punish you myself,” you sound a bit too serious, as if another play-pretend is coming to an end, a bit too out of your mind. “What do you think? Should I? Should I make your life a living hell? Should I make you pay for the souls you've killed? I promise it's more than some hundred people the Avenger's data claim to be. Come on, Loki!” You scream at his face, still straddling him, his hands shaking now but unmoving to push you off.

“Come on, Loki!” You continue, “Think of the parents, their children, growing up alone after you killed them, the families ruined. Should I make you suffer for them all?”

He looks sad now, you could see the tears silently showing on the corners of his eyes. You couldn't stop, you don't feel guilt, it doesn't come with your nature.

“You wouldn't dare. Even if I deserve it, you wouldn't punish me.” He coldly says, trying to snap against you, he's surprised he can't do it this time.

You close your mouth and give him a furious look, you know you shouldn't speak now, you don't want him to know too much about you. You can't, so you lie.

“You're right,” you lie, too saccharine, coming too easily, you just have to look a bit defeated. He doesn't look like he believes you, ever so doubtful. “You're right, I said I wouldn't. I can't punish you.”

He doesn't want to think about your trustworthiness, nor about his arguments. He closes the distance between the two of you, right out of the foreign room, out there in the hallway.

In contrast to the night before, now his touch only shows his anger and shame instead of any passion.

He doesn't want you to feel anything other than his hatred and fury, he's angry, all too angry at your words. At your daring to look innocent and bubbly, at your fake pretend act, at your secrets, at your constant clinginess, at your touches. At you. He's angry at you, he's quickly convinced he hates you and that you're messing with his mind to make you seem like a good person.

He growls against the inside of your mouth as he seeks forward your open shirt, grabbing the skin with the equal pressure of wishing to make it bleed too, he cupped the back of your head and brought you close as he brutally bites your lower lip.

“Ow, you fuck–” You complain, feeling it bleed, lifting your hand instinctively to touch the wound, he grabs your hand and keeps it down in place. Using his seidr to remove his pants and all of your clothes, the top of his asgardian leather vest prodding your bare stomach, you look around the hallway, scared someone will pass by. “The cameras. Someone might–”

“I'm tired of your feigned innocence.” He angrily silences you, he puts his hand to cover your mouth and your mumbles stuffle around his palms. “Let them see. Let them watch.” He rolls his hips roughly to your pelvic arch, pumping his cock to prepare and grunting out to the Heavens as he slides it into your already dripping hole.

You didn't want to confess how much the possibility of any strangers watching enticed you. “Let them see who brings the demon to her knees.” You bite his hand harshly and he hisses, grabbing your chin violently and squeezing, feeling your dental arch under the skin of your face. Your lips plump bright from his harsh kissing.

“Fuck, no–” You squeak out, not meaning it, but he still hesitates, until you glance at him and nod again, more frenetically, trying to get him to move as you babble meaningless denials. He keeps his thrusting, going harder and harder, making you grip his hips to steady. Afraid someone will hear the noise of your flesh hitting together ferociously. “Oh, OH!” You scream out.

“I want to devour you, you cruel thing.” He tightens his grip on your chin while pistoning your poor cunt. “I want to eat you up, you're a little bug compared to me. Tiny little useless little bitch.” He keeps his punishing pace. “This is the punishment you'll receive, tell me, do you like it? Am I being fair? It's an honorable punishment, being my little cumslut, I'll make you my little cum dumpster,” his eyes sparkled as he said the term to refer to you. “I'll fill you up and you won't be able to move, feeling me right here with your every step, feeling the stickiness that'll mark you as mine, so you'll forget your bratty behavior.” He puts his hand to rest on your womb, and you moan loudly, locking eyes with the tiny, almost unnoticeable, camera. Not knowing if it's on or not, either way, you're likely giving a whole performance.

“Ah! Oh, no,” you feel your eyes sting with tears as you're pinned down, against the cold floor. Your legs give out whilst they also tremble with every hit of his skin against yours.

He pulls out quickly and turns you around, now your mouth is fighting to stay far from the ground. He yanks your hair as he pushes your entire face towards the floor, arching your lower back, presenting yourself to him. He kicks your legs open to hurriedly shove his throbbing, aching cock, inside of you again.

The manhandling got you shaking for him, his thrusting forceful as your face dizzily scratched in contact with the harsh freezing floor of the hallway. He's pounding into you as if to convince himself of his lack of care for you.

Reaching his fingers around you to eagerly touch your clit, wishing for your constricting walls to suffocate his cock, to unknowingly pull him in deeper so he could flood your insides with his seed.

He wanted to make the devil tremble beneath him every single time, to feel your knees weak for him, he feared he was addicted. Your body invites him with such warmth, to paint your walls white with his cum.

When he feels you jolting harshly, he growls and his hips snap strongly to guide you through your orgasm, not relenting in his pace. You felt yourself getting too overstimulated as you moaned very soft whines and pushed your hands weakly against his chest.

He kept a vicious pace until his thrusting began getting uneven as he grunts out loudly, pushing your skin as he fills your abused cunt with loads of his cum.

Both of you lay out of breath on the floor, trying to recover a balanced breathing pattern, his marvelous hand still grasping your skin as strong as he could, instinctively.

Once you both recover, he moves his fingers to magically redress himself. Keeping you dumbly watching him, even as he lifts off of your body, he doesn't make a move to dress you.

“You're such a dick.” You spit out the words, looking around to check where your clothes are, before remembering he magicked them off.

“I could help you, of course,” He pretends to think of something. “But I'll only do so, if you tell me what's the deal with the angel.” He brings the topic out of the blue.

“I don't need your help!” You exclaim angrily, getting up naked. “You don't scare me, Loki.” You give him a stern look.

“I should. You should be scared of me. And you don't look half as terrifying as you think you do, while you're naked.”

You ignore the teasing and focus on the way he's trying to intimidate you. “You're just a god. I've seen millions of them.”

“Which only fuels my curiosity, can I even know how old you are?”

You grunt out and physically hesitate, you despise going anywhere near personal talk. You make new clothes magically reappear.

“I could get you naked in a snap of my fingers if you don't answer me.” He smirks, glancing down at your body.

“I think you forget I'm more powerful than you.” You state still denying him attention.

“I should probably wait for a team meeting, so I could make everyone see how much of a beauty you are.”

“They probably already know.” You glance at the camera, that's not speckling any light to sign its functioning. “Or maybe not, either way, I could get you naked in a second too.” You dared.

“Oh, I hope you do.” He grabs your waist and presses both of his hands down your stomach.

Isn't Bite Also Touch?

“In the middle of the hallway?!” Stark insults, accompanied by a frantic Steve by his side.

“We should create a rule of no sex around the tower.”

“Everybody would lose within a week, dumbass, only you wouldn't.” Stark pats his chest, you get yourself out of Loki's grip. “We all saw what you two did last night on the table, your luck is that a lot of people do the same in these parties. Just don't do it very…often.” He refuses to look at you two.

You don't answer him and just walk away, reaching another huge area. Most of the spaces resemble the living room for resting, that's close to the meeting room. It's not really your fault for not knowing the places or their purposes yet.

“Don't you want to go down to the training room?” Steve asks you, walking in with you. “It'll be useful, it's what we usually do around these hours. And you'll probably need to do it one time or another.”

“I'll think about it–” You end up bumping someone as you were staring at Rogers.

“Where are your manners?” Inquiries the being, the great Symbol of Heaven. “Honestly, sister, you've been falling off your feet a lot since the party.”

“Don't call me that.”

“Do you have something against him?” Stark asks, a bit rhetorically, as he can already sense the answer.

Loki arrogantly tilts his head now that he knows it'll be difficult for you to walk away.

“Of course I have, I don't want to be near him.” You say.

“You don't have to.” The Angel responds.

“Have you people just adopted him now?” Loki asks the two headmasters of the group, and they both look at each other.

“Firstly, we don't "adopt"–” Stark got interrupted mid his sentence, as the angel presented himself.

“I am å̵̫̭̹̳̟̮͉͙̲̉͜͜ͅá̶̹̦̈̎͊̍͒̇̕̚͝͝ą̷̱̻̞͉̾̂͊̈́a̸̲̜͙̣̦̙͚̞̹̻̠̓̄̈́̈́a̴̤͈̻̾͊͌̄a̶̧͇̠̜̼̻̹̱͔̳̯̘̔̀͊̈́̆̉̈̋͒̋a̶̮̞͉͖̝̿͜ṇ̷̛̮̗̮̪̫̱̻̳͚̝͍̅́̓͆̄̊̏̿̄̐̾̚͜͝͝͝ģ̵̧̡̛̗̘͓̱̫̦͉̰̯̰̗͍͇̥̳̝̲̭̳͖͊͒̄̅̎́̃̒̐̓̌̚̕͝͠͠ę̵̨̢̧͇͉̮̲͇̠̠̘̝̬̜̣͈̗͉͓͎̣̻̓̅̈́̇͌̌̀̽̀̀͊̆̅̒̃̚͘̕͘͝͝ĺ̷̟̪̬̙͈̉̈̋̋́͆͐̐̑̐̐̃͊̄̚̕͝ Ediel.” His words give a glimpse in space, and time, and everyone questions their sanity for a second, they could swear they saw something. Ediel is as bright as the sun when he grins at his sister.

“Did you guys see that?” Asks Thor as he walks through the door.

“See what?” You question, not knowing what he's talking about.

“I-I…the thing̛̱͙̟̪̣̠̓̒͑̽–” Thor looks around, then something stops while they're all still looking at the angel.

Thor enters the room again and repeats the same question.

“Did you guys see that?” The god asks.

“See what?” You question him.

“I don't remember…” Thor looks down, confused, a finger on his chin as he wonders. They all look at each other now and Tony points at you.

“Just don't kill each other while you're here, he may be good for us, it's always safe to be in the presence of an angel.”

“I actually feel much safer indeed.” Steve expresses and you roll your eyes. Loki knew you had nowhere to hide now.

“Why do you hate him?” Loki asks you.

“Don't you also hate your brother? I have my reasons.” You snap and try to run away once more, until Tony gets ahold of your arm.

“Calm down now hocus pocus, what is it that you have to say? We have the right to know, what if it's something dangerous?”

“Why is everyone so stuck in this? I have the right to not say anything if I don't want to.”

“I don't see what's wrong either,” Ediel says, defending you. “My sister should feel free to walk away just as she wants to.”

“He seems nice. Just a bit off-putting.” Thor brings up watching the other blond.

“Now you know what you're like.” Loki bickers with Thor. And they share a look close to a childlike war.

“Ediel is a fallen angel,” You tell the group with a quiet tone, wanting nothing more than to go away. “Anything—anyone, that falls out of Heaven must be an evil entity, a fraud, a sinner–”

“If that were true, that'd appeal to you,” Ediel says. “This is everything demons admire. If the accusations were truthful, you'd have no reason to hate me.” The avengers could sense how little you felt close to the golden angel.

“They don't know you. They don't know us. Stay out of my way.” You point to your brother and walk out.

“Do you want to explain the whole 'sister' thing?” Loki casually brings up the topic as Ediel keeps a watch on your way out. “She doesn't seem to cooperate, so who knows, you might actually be useful.” He says to the angel.

Ediel feels bashful before speaking, “It's actually fairly simple,” he says your name and proceeds to talk about you. “She is related to Satan himself, raised by Him, and unfortunately so am I, now.” He says feeling his heart ache with shame.

“However that's not a reason for any of you to hate me, or mistrust me,” he quickly explains as their eyes wander around. “I stay in a different position, I'm never in Hell and I've never been close to it, I stay on the surface nearby Earth. I'm more of an actual fallen angel, I'm a guardian, a protector. A savior.”

Loki rolls his eyes in annoyance, “That's what your sister claimed too, when I first met her. I've heard enough.” He tells them and moves somewhere else too, Thor follows him with a sheepish expression.

“I am a being created by God,” Ediel says to the others. “He loves me, as he does to you all, but unfortunately I'm too close to Satan here. Too close, unfortunately, to be mistaken with a demon. I'm just grateful to know my truth, and I'll keep my guard upon us, against the evil that is the demon that inhabits here.”

Everyone looks convinced that this angel won't go away. But Tony needed to state some things.

“Right, cherub, we don't need help. Demoness is not a terrifying or evil entity, she's been cooperating, and at the exact moment she decides to misbehave, the authorities–” Tony gives a dramatic pause to make sure his point comes across. “will deal with her. Earth authorities, the law. We're not afraid of your evil little friend. You can stay calm.”

“It's still an obligation that I have to stay present and keep a watch.”

“That makes me quite uncomfortable,” Steve says. “What do you mean by keeping a watch?”

“Nothing frightful, human, I promise you. I'll stay here to ensure everyone's safety, and I'll make sure to be a good spirit to all, I'm the bringer of God's words and great spirit.” He gives everyone a bright smile again.

How can your writing always be so incredible?? Honestly, everything you write is amazing.

The ending is so sweet, the way they say they love each other so easily now 💗💗

I loved this story and all the details, and obviously the fucks (the way you know how to write something that can pull on my heartstrings, but also make our erotic dreams come true, I loved their anger, I loved the angry fucks)

The “Is it really so hard to believe? That I love you?" And the way he nodded, broke my heart, love that he'll learn how to be loved now.

Also the "my love"s they shared too, will stick with me, they made me so happy. Can't wait to read the epilogue!

Final Bids: Love Wins [Avenger!Loki X Fem.Reader]

You and Loki hadn't stop kissing from the moment the elevator closed to the moment it slid open on the sixty-fifth floor. You had run out the main doors of the event suite with the stares of bemused looking spectators following you, the crowd parting. There was no looking back as Loki’s fingers grasped your own, knitted tightly.

He was still bare-chested, the button of his trousers still undone. Hair was wild, cheeks hot, smiles wide as cat-calls and ringing shouts of ‘finally’ followed far beyond the lavish foyer.

Your searching hands clawed at his naked back as he pressed you against the glass wall of the lift. Floor disappeared below, winding higher as you moaned into his open mouth.

“Come on…” he muttered, eyes flashing with mischief before yanking you out the open elevator doors and around the corner towards his rooms. His sanctuary. He strode ahead, making you teeter on your heels as you tried in vain to keep up. With an impatient growl, he spun - lifting you effortlessly around his hips. You gasped, a giggle escaping as his features retained their set determination. “You were taking too long. As usual. ” he growled, taking several more strides before slamming your back against his front door.

Loki’s hand at your back blanketed the impact as his lips ravenously enveloped your own. The god’s tongue swept inside your mouth, a mewl sneaking from your throat as you turned to messy putty beneath his possessive wiles. Somewhere, there was a low beep. The door fell open. Loki stumbled inside, holding you steady with one strong arm. His tongue never left your mouth as you groaned against him, his furiously hard cock pressing eagerly against your inner thigh. Reluctantly, he lowered you the floor, spinning you gently to face the room beyond the entryway. You gaped, taking in the lavish dark furnishings you had only imagined as you touched yourself beneath your bedsheets in the dead of night. Thick velvet curtains hung closed against the windows; green, of course. The scent of rich mahogany filled the air, shy curls of smoke wafting from dozens of candles set on the bookshelves which lined the living room. A fireplace that you were entirely sure wasn't to code suddenly roared to life in the corner. To your right, you could just see a sliver of a majestic bed-frame through the crack of a door. Looking back to the room at hand, you suddenly realised you had company. Of sorts. Nine mannequins were placed in a semi-circle at the far corner of the room, giving them the look of some sort of macabre council. Loki’s warm breath fanned your ear as he stooped to speak, noting your interest. “Do they bring back fond memories, darling?” he purred, making you shiver. The wetsuit, the biker ensemble, the kilt, the fencing pants, the captain’s uniform, the slutty caftan, the Tudor king, the wolf fur, the holy vestments – they were all here. “I thought you would appreciate a reminder of our journey together on this auspicious occasion.” he whispered slowly, measuring your reaction. You giggled, throwing a glance over your shoulder before moving towards them to investigate. “What would you have done with these if I’d not...you know, done what I did downstairs?” “Burn them, obviously.” “Obviously.” you replied dryly, pinching the edges of the wetsuit and running your fingers down thoughtfully. It feels like so long ago. “Although I was quietly confident that my masterplan would yield fruit.” he smirked, perching elegantly on the armrest of hi sofa. “Master-plan...” you scoffed derisively, gravitas quashed by the unshakeable grin stretched across your face. “Keep telling yourself that, Laufeyson.” Minutes passed as you inspected each piece while Loki watched in silence, a gentle smile on his lips.

“I thought I would allow you a choice of attire for us to consummate our truce.” he said, slowly rising and circling behind as you paused in front of the ravaged kilt hanging on its holder. "Truce? How romantic." you murmured sarcastically, hearing the tap of his dress shoes against the mahogany floor. The mannequins were an exact replica of Loki’s frame, you realised, running your hand down the rough woollen sash. You shivered, remembered the sight of his war-stained features surfacing between your spread thighs on the wet battlements. Loki’s hips pressed against your ass, his hard stomach moulding to the shape of your spine as he loomed behind you. “Can’t you see which one I’d choose, the whole mindreading-whatever-it-is?” you said absent-mindedly, snapping a long strap of the fencing pants for effect. Loki chuckled. “Oh, that." Loki drawled. "With some difficulty, I fashioned an enchantment so that I cannot see too deeply. I have cut myself off, as it were. It is only an aura of your mood that I have access to – and nothing to be done about that. Unless your love for me wanes, of course.” You turned, unable to disguise your shock. “What?! Since when?” Loki's features twisted in an apologetic grimace. “At the faire...I began to delve too deeply. I knew that you did not approve, I felt...guilty." He paused, surprised at his own revelation. "Was I wrong?” he added, brows slanted. “No I just…” you started sheepishly, biting your lip. Your eyes widened. “But some of the things you said in Rome, the little comments, the-” “About you wanting me, you mean?” Loki scoffed gently. He shook his head. “Any fool could see that, darling. My brother, for one.” You turned away, closing you eyes as you tried to process how unbearably in love with him you were. It felt like your heart would burst from your chest. He really is full of surprises. “You could have told me.” you said with a feigned air of annoyance, fingering the intricate embroidery of the sheer caftan. “And lose my advantage in our little tirades? I think not, Agent.” Loki purred, eyes burning with mischief. “Besides, I do not need magical abilities to read you.” You could feel his soundless approach, the warmth of his bare chest inches from your back. “Now choose, please.” he whispered, a wandering hand slipping around your waist. Your palm slid up his cheekbone from behind, pressing him against the crook of your neck. “I don’t need a costume, Loki” you whispered, turning. “I just need you.” The god chuckled into your hair. “Are you sure they didn’t help pave the way to your heart? I thought it would be...romantic.” You rolled your eyes. “Well they didn’t hurt.” You ran your eyes down the white captain’s uniform pressed neatly against its mannequin. “But really…” you said, sliding your palm over Loki’s shoulders. “I just want you, Loki. All of you.” The god’s brow furrowed, a bob in his throat as his mind fought to catch up. “I see.” he managed to say, catching on his tongue. There was a pause, as Loki’s stare searched yours. “Is it really so hard to believe?” you said, cupping his jaw. “That I love you?” Loki nodded once, his gaze lowered, lashes spread in a perfect fan against his skin.

“Why?” you whispered, knowing the answer. But it seemed important that he say it. He swallowed.

“You must understand I have never been most people’s favourite person. In this realm or any other. ” he said bitterly, avoiding your eyes as he twirled a strand of your hair around his finger. “Anyone’s favourite person, in truth. To be loved. It is rather a strange concept to me.” His eyeline staggered upwards, reluctantly meeting your gaze. “But I am trying.” “I know. I’m sorry about all the red stuff – the dress was an accident but the bra and the g-string I didn’t know-” Loki’s finger pressed to your lips. “Do not apologise.” he murmured. “Just promise me that you shall not lie with him when you tire of me.” You couldn’t help the gasp of laughter that erupted against his finger. “Tire of you?” you choked. “I don’t think that’s likely.” Loki raised an eyebrow, making your features straighten. “But I promise, I will not…” you wrinkled your nose, “...lie with Thor.” The god nodded regally, accepting your pledge. The tips of his cheekbones had flushed palest pink. “I love you.” you said softly, capturing his fingers as they brushed your collarbone. “I love you.” he replied with a shy smile. His voice was rich and warm, the tenor sinking into your soul like salve. “But it is more than that…” he added mysteriously, his tone deepening. You felt the familiar zing of arousal between your thighs, the eroticism of his power building in earnest. “I have burned for you, every cell of my being yearning uncontrollably since the moment you first cut me with that sharp tongue.” he murmured, sweeping hair from your neck. “It is a need, an obsession. And the obsession of a god is not easily swayed. I hope you are prepared for that.” His parted lips danced across your shoulder, as your hands slid beneath his armpits and between the muscled blades. “I could not bear to think that you would never be mine-” he growled, “not after all the times before, and never like this...never as-” “-Real.” you gasped, as he placed a gentle bite on the curve of your neck, a deep moan filling the space. “Real.” he echoed quietly, before placing a soothing kiss on the mark he had left. “I could not bear it.” His eyes met with yours, glassy with emotion. “I thought...that the only way to harvest the passion I desperately craved from you was-” “-by being an asshole?” you postured, raising your brows. Loki smiled sheepishly. “You gave as good as you got, darling.” he murmured, his hand beginning to toy with the zip of your dress. “Better, some might say.” you gasped, feeling the tug of your seams coming loose. “In your dreams, Agent.” Loki whispered, as your dress pooled around your ankles. “And besides…” he quipped, walking you backwards through the living room towards the king bed next door. “One cannot accuse us of being predictable.” “Perish the thought.” you said, as the back of your knees hit the firm mattress. Loki lowered his chin to his chest, the fire in his eyes that burned right before he fucked you smouldering with new intensity. “My love…” he hummed, possessively sliding his hands over your ass and squeezing. “My love.” you responded with a gasping groan, the curve of your lips cresting each vowel like a breaking wave. “Choose one.” he growled, a ragged moan vibrating in his chest as he slipped his hand inside your panties. “I must insist. For old times sake.”

Your eyes flickered to the row of mannequins just visible outside the door. “The b-biker…” you stammered, as Loki’s digits began to play lazily against your soaking slit. “Mmm” he hummed, knowingly. “I’m sure the garments for that particular ensemble isn’t the only thing you desire from it, my love?” My love. You would never tire of those words from his lips. You could feel heat rising in your cheeks as Loki’s suit trousers began to turn to scuffed black denim beneath your touch. The fingers digging into his back suddenly had a thin layer of fabric between his flesh and yours; the scent of old oil wafting from the cotton. Cool, heavy metal swung against your chest as he shoved you playfully back onto the bed, watching as a familiar vintage leather jacket unfurled over his torso. The god chuckled, seeing your legs widen as you drew your feet onto the mattress; sinking into the thick crispness of his duvet. He ran a hand through his hair, a trail of seidr rendering it wild. Your breath skipped as you saw the outline of the deep scar through his eyebrow form, ink flourishing on both sets of his knuckles. C.H.A.O.S. You shuddered, ass clenching. The crossed daggers flourished in all their glory over his heart, the edges faded as old tattoos do. Loki’s fingers toyed teasingly with the buckle of the studded belt, hanging sluttishly around his hips. “Do you want me to be a bad boy, Agent?” he growled, untamed hair falling in waves against his sharp cheekbones. “You’re always a bad boy.” you purred, making Loki wink before he cleared his throat. “Well, I better not disappoint then.” he postured, sinking into character as he lowered himself on top of you. The leather creaked against his biceps as he braced, the stretch making you clench as he descended on your mouth in a mess of teeth and tongue. You thrust upwards, the thin fabric of your wet gusset colliding with his belt buckle. Loki chuckled, scooping you upwards. He knelt on the bed, ass resting on his worn combat boots; shifting so only one of his denim-clad thighs sat between your spread legs. “Use me.” he rumbled, lowering his chin as he began to rock your hips back and forth. Friction made delicate skin sizzle as he set your pussy alight, every whimper met with enthusiastic sighs of pleasure and praise. “That’s it, darling…” he groaned as you grasped at his hard cock beneath the tight denim. Searching.

He was a mess of adulation, words unsaid for too long spilling from his lips with every flame of climax blossoming in your belly. “I’m for your pleasure, now.” he gasped, gyrating his hips as you rocked against his thigh. “Always...take it. Take i-it, my love. It’s y-yours. I’m..f-fuck, I’m yours.” Your nails dug into the leather covering his shoulders, marking the soft material as you came undone against him. “Loki...y-yes..uhhh” you moaned into his open mouth as he gazed up at you, rough ebony curls thrown back. One of your hands fell to his chest, catching on the loop of the pendant hanging against his heart. The slicing angle of Loki’s jaw was poised, lips parted. His eyes were wide, brow creased as you came with a grateful cry of his name. He continued to guide your hips back and forth while your grip tightened and then relaxed. You burrowed your face in the curve of his neck, noting the musk of Croatian alcohol and smoky bars that still clung there. “I do so love watching you cum…” he murmured shyly, as you began to pull wantonly at his belt buckle. “Well I love watching you cum” you said, pressing your lips together in a coy smile. “So I guess that works out, doesn’t it?” Loki’s hand ran through your hair, tugging your head back before he placed a messy suck to the pulse point. “Mine.” he growled breathily, as your fingers raced to undo his belt. “Leave it…” he muttered, making your hands fly to his leather jacket, forcing it roughly over his shoulders. It fell to the floor with a soft thud, the low thump of his combat boots hitting the floorboards making your whole body shiver. He shuffled backwards, standing at the foot of the bed.

“Are you ready, love?” he muttered seductively. You nodded, your feral desire barely contained as you bounced on your knees. Instinctively your fingers rubbed his violently hard cock through the rough denim, feeling for metal. The god hissed as your fingers caught against the tip. "Oh, it's there." Loki purred knowingly, whipping the belt from its holster and slowly rolling down the zip. You licked your lips, seeing the majesty of his pierced cock bob into view. Wordlessly you leant forwards, sucking the moist head of his manhood against your tongue with a calculated swirl. You tugged the silver barbell, flicking. Loki whimpered, steadying himself against the bedpost. “F-fuckk, darling…” he gasped quietly. “I shall n-never be prepared for that.”

The metal balls of his piecing were cool against the heat of your mouth, rolling them against your searching tongue as he groaned above you. A metallic taste rose against the warmth of his sweetness, the god's musk swirling intoxicatingly against the sharp tang of steel. Saliva leaked out the sides of the join, letting it coat his cock as you slid back and forth, sucking gently. Your lips tightened, the stroke of your hand against his thick, slippery shaft making his hips jolt. “Won’t l-last l-long…gods-” he rasped, gently winding the hand not steadying him into your hair.

Your own whoreish moans burned deep in your eardrums, mouth stuffed with his girth as you felt him begin to tremble. “D-don’t stop…” he panted, as you increased your pace. “Do you w-want me to cum in your...fuckkk-your mouth, p-precious one?” Loki stammered with difficulty, his breath catching as his hips began to tremble. You groaned enthusiastically, vibrations making his balls tighten. You heard a low crack of wood, Loki’s grip making the wooden bedpost split beneath it. A thundering moan ripped from above, hot cum flooding your tongue; dripping down your throat as you swallowed against the tip of his thick cock.

You released him with a messy pop, tugging once more at the piercing while gazing up at the dishevelled god with pure love. His bliss-drunk eyes lazily searched your face, hovering on the slick of his delicious cum coating your lips. He licked his own. “We can do the rest later, don’t worry.” you cooed, sitting up on your knees as you wrapped your arms around his neck. Loki chuckled, delicate skin creasing at the corners of his eyes. “Ah! About that-” he smouldered, before falling forwards and pinning you beneath him on the bed. “Gods have a very short refractory period. I’m delighted to inform you that we can fuck endlessly, if that is your desire.” There was a mischievous glint in his eye as he watched your jaw drop.

“You mean all this time we could have done it twice?” “More than twice, darling.” he jibed, feigning offence. “But to be frank, typically the mood had been ruined by one of your mid-coital insults by that point.” “My insults?!” you huffed, feeling his cock growing hard again against your thigh. Loki kissed you deeply, making your back arch as you felt the tingle of his seidr evaporate the rest of his biker clothes. He slid a finger through your folds, moaning appreciatively. “Wet, warm...perfect.” he muttered, curls grazing against your cheeks. You felt the metal balls of his piercing on the wide tip nudge against your entrance, the coolness tingling against your heat. Twin moans filled the air as he squeezed himself past the tight opening, Loki’s eyes rolling back before they fluttered closed. He bottomed out with a low pant of pleasure, a final thrust of his hips making the metal spheres tug against your deepest walls. The metal stud fastened to Loki’s pubic mound pulled gently against your clit, every slow roll of his hips making you rock into him. “Loki...f-fuck, I’d f-forgotten-oh god..oh g-god.” you panted, as his knees widened on the bed. The base of his flat stomach was pressed to your own, the thick veins running along his biceps bulging as he thrust into you in mind-altering waves. “Let yourself go, my love...there is no limit anymore. Not with us.” he praised, as your fingertips sank into the taut muscle of his ass. Effortlessly, Loki raised himself from his forearms; angling his hips so only the tip of his cock remained inside your wet cunt. “Loki...please” you begged, squirming beneath him. He smirked, beginning to make small thrusts against your g-spot. Your head slid back against the pillow, back arching. “Fuck-Loki...y-yess oh-god.” It caressed the swollen spot inside you, tingling with the urge to burst while the piercing rubbed on either side. It was heaven. “Cum for me, lov-ve.” he murmured, his voice breaking on the final syllable. Your hands fell back against the pillows, fingers curling around the antique brass railings of his bed-frame. Loki growled through shallow pants, his large palms cupping the joint of your hips as he guided you back and forth on his mighty cock. “C-come in me, Loki…” you whined, chin pointed to the ceiling as every muscle in your body screamed for release. "Own me, you fucking own me."

You were a writhing mess of pure sex, every swing of his hair; every harsh exhale of air from his throat a primal cacophony of lust and love. Both of your moans grew louder, the slap of his balls against your skin driving you over the edge as he unravelled. There was a sudden rush, a burning thrill of flooding climax as Loki’s shallow pants of praise blossomed to a thundering roar. The groan of his name from your throat was primal; threatening to shake his books from their shelves.

The god's breaths slowed, melting against you in a wet kiss before rolling to the side. His head hit the pillow with a muted thump. “Have I ever told you, that your the best fuck I’ve ever had?” he panted. “No, I don’t think you mentioned it.” you quipped, resting your chin on his heaving chest. “That would be too complimentary, you were too busy trying to make my life hell.” Loki rolled his eyes with a smirk, wrapping his arms around your shoulders. “As I said on our first tryst, darling...indifference is the true insult.” He squeezed you tighter, before the amused smile faded. “There is one more past outfit I must show you.” he said tentatively, before frowning. “Return to you, actually.”

You sat up, propped on your elbows. “Oh?” you muttered, raising an eyebrow. “Although I have made one notable alteration.” he added, raising a hand and waving it gracefully in the air. A bright shimmer appeared at the foot of the bed, rolling downwards to reveal silken fabric fluttering suspended in the air. “Oh my god…” you whispered, eyes wide. The red dress that Loki had ripped with his hands and teeth from your body while he fucked you to oblivion in a jealous rage the night of the shareholder’s party swayed in front of you. Loki flicked his fingers, making it dance in the air.

It was immaculate, even by his standards of repair. Except now, it was a rich emerald green. “Loki-” you started, feeling a lump in your throat. Gently, his fingers tipped your chin to face him. “You have made me a better man, Agent.” he said slowly, enunciating every word. “Are you sure about that? I’m not sure Clint would agree. Or Amanda, actually.” you smirked, placing a kiss on the tip of his nose. “And enough with the ‘Agent’, you know how much it annoys me.” Loki laughed softly, sighing as he stretched his naked legs across the sheets. “Ah, so you heard about Barton.”

You let your eyes wander up his endless limbs, admiring the curve and dip of each perfectly carved muscle. “He put in a complaint with Tony.” you said, making Loki nodded sagely, lips pursed. The fact that Tony had, of course, told everyone, did not need to be stated to be understood. There was a pause. "And by the way, where is Thor getting a spare two million from to pay for you?" Loki smirked, rolling towards you with a fist propped innocently beneath his temple. "He's been putting off offers for a raunchy photoshoot with a well-known underwear brand for years, darling. I wouldn't worry." "Sorry, what was that you were saying about being a better man?" you goaded, holding back a laugh. “Well, our misplaced animosity may not have been the smoothest path to encouraging a reformation of my admittedly devilish character-” Loki said thoughtfully, nestling his nose against the tip of your cheekbone. “-but your love might.” You swung a leg over his hips, enjoying the exaggerated oof he released as you settled your core to his stomach. Your palm cupped his face, smoothing the silk of his jaw with your thumb. Loki tilted his head, raven curls a mess of tangles against the white pillowcase. “You’ll still always manage to irritate me, you know.” you said, as a smile played at Loki’s lips. "Just because I love you, doesn't mean I'm going to go easy on you." In a flash, Loki had you on your back, giggling beneath him as the warm comfort of his solid frame pressed to yours. “Likewise, my love-' he sighed happily against your sex mussed hair. He placed a firm kiss on your temple, thumb pushing back strands of damp hair from your forehead. “-And I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

Ultraviolence ~ loki l.

Ultraviolence ~ Loki L.

Chapter One

Desc: You’re a psychiatrist for the Avengers focusing on PTSD and trauma rehabilitation. When Thor's estranged brother gets sentenced to live on earth till Odin sees fit, you find yourself with the job of helping Loki.

————— ୨୧ —————

"Mornin dez" Stark entered the compound's kitchen, immediately heading for the coffee pot as you drank out of your own cup.

"Good morning Anthony." You said irritatedly. Anthony always found a way to rub you the wrong way. No matter what is was, he always pissed you off. Maybe it was the whole big brother little sister relationship you two always had, or just both your sarcastic personalities bouncing off of each other.

"Dez !" Natasha, Your big sister, said running up to you with her wide, pearly, smile. You smiled giving her a big hug in return. One grumpy Yelena followed behind, snatching Anthony's fresh cup of coffee right out of his hand with a smile.

After escaping the red room, you dedicated your time to gaining your psychology degree and fighting crime with the fellow avengers. You had 'superpowers' yourself, probably the only reason you were an avenger in the first place. You acted as a team therapist, as well as specializing in trauma recovery. Today you began to help the dreaded assignment, or at least that's what everyone told you it would be like. You had never met Loki Laufeyson, but you were about to.

"You almost ready?" You snapped out of your trance, watching Fury walk through the door. Him, Anthony, Thor, and Bruce would be helping and supervising you throughout the project.

Loki had been commanded to stay on earth under the avengers custody until Odin, deemed it fit for him to return to his homeland. Thor visited daily, mostly coming back torqued after some argument they had.

"Mhm," you said, gulping the last bit of coffee you had left, grabbing your books, notepad, and pen.

As they all accompanied you down the eerily unoccupied hall; zero words were exchanged as you finally made it to the gods chambers.

Anthony pushed ahead of you all. After swiping a keycard, using his hand print, AND a retinal scan, the door let out a loud series of clicks. He quickly moved out of the way as Thor took lead, pushing the door open walking in unbothered. Anthony and fury followed, you being last in line. As you entered the room, Loki sat chained to an interrogation table. You sighed at the seemingly overprotective security. You had once been in his shoes, except instead of trying to take over a whole city you tried to assassinate the whole team.

This occurred right after you were freed from Dreykov's custody. You failed to believe your sisters were your sisters, and that the avengers had saved you. As you held your own sister cornered against the wall, she said your name. Not your number, not your code. She humanized you. For the first time in your life you heard your given name aloud.

"Does he really have to be chained to the table?" Your accent thick, shocking the man sitting across the table. Anthony rolled his eyes and laughed.

"While we're in here? Uh, yeah. When we leave do whatever floats your boat. Just remember I'm not cleaning up your bloody corpse." You rolled your eyes sitting at the seat already pulled out for you.

"Who's this?" Loki looked over at the three men. Anthony had already started to leave, done with the situation at hand.

"She's a—a friend, who wants to help you.." Thor stuttered out, clearly not good at coming up with something on the spot. Nick rolled his eyes as he crossed his arms impatiently.

Fury was hesitant to even entertain your idea of treating; or at least attempting to treat Laufeyson. He was a full case file waiting to be closed. Another relic in Shield's database.

"I've got it from here, I'll let you know when I want out." You laughed, ushering them along.

As the door clicked shut, you brought your hands out and allowed the magic to flow through your palms and to the cuffs.

"I'm letting you out. And remember these hands aren't just for unlocking cuffs." You smiled as he rolled his wrists, rubbing the faint lines they left with his opposite hand.

"So are you going to tell me what you are?" He snarked. You laughed under your breath, opening your note pad.

"I'm one of them, but I'm also a psychiatrist." You looked up from the yellow pages, staring right into his eyes. His face contorted through plenty emotions, before settling on one. Anger.

"I don't need a fucking psychiatrist." He spat through gritted teeth, anticipating you to be upset.

But you stayed content.

"No, but I'm sure I can help." You shrugged, continuing to remain eye contact. He rolled his eyes and stayed silent.

"Do you mind if I ask you a few questions?" Your brows furrowed, keeping that contact as you clicked your pen.

"I have a feeling your going to ask them anyways." He rolled his eyes, leaning back in his chair and crossing his arms.

You ignored that, letting a sigh escape from your lips.

"So, I have your file here, at least what we were able to obtain from your brother-"

"Adoptive, brother." He cut you off.

"Adoptive, brother," you sighed. "Is there anything you'd like to share before we go through your history?" Quite monotonously said.

"I'll correct you as we go." He replied slouching back in his seat.

After about an hour of back and forth about what Thor had said and Lokis take on it, you finally had your notepad full. But, you hadn't got to current events just yet. You could feel his knee bouncing faster and faster as you neared the present.

"If you wish to stop at anytime please tell me. The only way I can truly help you is if your honest with me, and trust me." You hadn't even bothered bringing Odin up; despite the fact he's the source of it all.

He rolled his eyes and sat upright.

"I don't need your pity." He sneered once more.

"What makes you think it's pity?" You cocked your head, putting your pen down.

"It's all anyone offers. Pity or hatred. Nothing more, nothing less."

"It's empathy, Loki. And to be fair the hatred is well deserved, you came into these peoples planet, their home, and tried to take over." You took a pause. "But it can be forgiven."

"Do you truly think I'm stupid enough to fall for the fake ideology that 'all can be forgiven?' I am a god you dull Midgardian. I cannot, and WILL not be forgiven for my actions, and I could give two shits if they did." Your eyes widened a bit at the speech, but without fail you had a comeback.

"No, not everyone will forgive you. That is impossible. And something all of us have to cope with. We are not perfect, god or human. And we also have to accept that. I think that's something we should work on; as well as this feeling that you don't deserve forgiveness." You said rather calmly for just being called a dull Midgardian.

He said nothing in response, concluding your session. As you took a peep at your watch realizing it had been about an hour, you flipped you notepad shut, and raised you hand to put his back in cuffs.

"Someone will escort you to your room in a few minutes. I look forward to working with you, Loki." You smiled at him. He frowned, more confused than anything.

As you made your way around stark tower, you arrived at the conference room you were supposed to meet at after the appointment.

"Agent Novikov," Fury greeted you. Anthony gave a nod and Thor gave a smile. A moment of silence passed as you settled into your office chair at the table, cracking open your notes.

"So, how'd it go with reindeer games?" Stark finally broke the silence. His hands intertwined, resting on the glass table top.

You sighed, briefly looking at your notes.

"I have reason to believe he has significant trauma, mostly surrounding his upbringing and parentage. As well as a suicide attempt, that led to his run in with Chitauri. Possibly anger issues, more or likely stemming from childhood. Other than that I've seen worse cases; he's not a lost cause." Your brows furrowed as you glanced over your notes quickly again.

"So, what's your course of action?" Fury questioned.

"Therapy, socialization, possibly medication? Not quite sure about that though; I do think he should be socialized with the team, treated as if he's not a threat. That would be good for him."

"Woah woah there, slow your roll, he is a threat. And I'm not sure it's a good idea to have him outside of his cage until we're sure he's improving." Stark intervened. You nodded in agreement.

"Of course. But as soon as I'm sure he's improving, I'd like to further discuss socialization with the team." You agreed, standing up with your note pad and pen clutched to your chest.

Prompt: “ don't cry... oh, please don't cry... “

Loki x 1st person reader

(Fem? I said ‘little girl’, but other then that gnc :)

Prompt: Don't Cry... Oh, Please Don't Cry...

We were all trying our hardest to take that thing down. It was nearly impossible. We were all losing stamina; me a bit more than the others. We were almost done. We were so close. But there he went. Straight to the ground with only a single, fatal jab.

“Go! I got this!” Thor called out to me as he saw the panic nearly consume me. I swear, I ran faster than light itself. He attempted to silence his groans and cries out of pain as I greeted him at his side.

“Loki..” it was almost inaudible as I brushed his tangled hair off the side of his cheek. We both knew; though I’d rather not admit it. He stopped trying to sit up and examine his wound, resting his head against the scorched planet. His breathing was unsteady as I tried to get through his armor.

“Tell Thor I love him and-“

“No!”

I was not ready to let go. Determined as I was, I looked back at him, his smile still sweet as ever, even through his ache. I had been choking back my tears until that point.

‘Oh gods, down come the flood gates’

I couldn’t even help it, they were just flowing. My hand stayed resting on his cheek while the other sat on his shoulder.

“Don’t cry, oh, please don’t cry my love.” He started an attempt to put his own hand on my cheek. It shakily made its way there, still warm and soft. His thumb swiftly started wiping away tears as they fell from my eyes.

“We were supposed to have more,” I gasped. He gave me the type of ‘I know’ look a mother would her child. All I’ve dreamed of since I was a little girl, was gone. his eyes seemed to be falling heavy as his hand started to slip from my cheek.

“I love you, you know that right?” His voice was that of a groggy and raspy old man. I couldn’t help but let out an exasperated gasp of a laugh, quickly grabbing his hand with mine to keep it in place.

“I know.” My smile was wilting as fast as he was. I bent down to his face giving him one final kiss.

“I love you more.” My own hands were shaking as I whispered my remaining words to him. His smile perked up at that; I was just happy my words hadn’t fallen on deaf ears yet.

“Preposterous,” His smirk would remain engraved in my brain for a lifetime. My facial expression couldn’t stay the same. Only as his last breath was released did it remain a frown.

My head rested on his hardening chest with his now cold hand still on my cheek. Silent pleas fell out of my mouth as tears continued to fall from my eyes. I was afraid I’d be mute for life. Words cannot do him or I any justification, what his life and mine would’ve-could’ve been. Something everyone would know for sure about the what-ifs is that it would’ve been all for me; just as mine would be for him. I couldn’t unlove him now; and I didn’t want to.

“(Y/N)..” Thor hated to disrupt me, but our job was done. My voice remained silent and unused. The hurt in his own voice seemed as if it was attempted to be concealed, poorly. My eyes closed tighter, wanting to sit here till he was no more than a bag of bones. I wanted to say sorry, what for? I had no idea.

“He loves you.” I was no more than barely coherent, for it would break me to be any louder than I needed to be.

“I know.”
