Feral Macaque AU

I had another idea for a lmk au

When they were young Macaque was good hearted while Wukong was kinda the bad one

Wukong was only nice to the monkeys and who he considered his friends and didn't have problems with being cruel or murderous to those who weren't and that pissed him off (which was easy to do)

Macaque was the most soft hearted of the two , he might not put his trust blindly to strangers like a naive fool but he isn't heartless or uncaring to people in need that deserved help

And that's the exact reason Macaque was a target for bullying , mockery and insults by the other demons

Even with Wukong's protection it only gave the others another reason to consider him weak

Wukong was Macaque's only friend and that's why Mac was so scared of losing him but eventually they fought while Wukong was trapped under the mountain sealed by Buddha and Macaque was very emotionally hurt

When Wukong joined the journery to the west Macaque got worried and thought about saving him despite still being somewhat hurt and mad at Wukong but it lead to his death instead

Macaque was furious , Wukong was the bad one , the one killing and doing whatever he wanted but got a chance to be better while he died mistaken to be a bloodthirsty monster out for the monk's blood

Macaque decided , if they thought of him as monster then he will gave them a monster

Then Lbd came and resurrected him but didn't know much of the "monster" she was dealing with

Macaque has gone feral and Lbd had to take precautions to use him

She caged him and leashed him but he would still not obey her , trying to escape and causing a rampage destroying and killing her servants with bare hands

She then used the monkey's insticts to gave him a reason to somewhat stay put for a while so she gave him Rumble and Savage to protect and care for and as a reason to obey her orders if he doesn't want them to get hurt

Eventually Mk strumbled across them and freed them and would later struggle to help and befriend three feral monkeys and try to avoid them going out for a rampage

Wukong gets involved to keep them on flower fruit mountain so they don't kill anyone and he has to try to reason with Macaque for him to return civil and maybe reconcile (by MK's request)

Shadowpeach can be platonic , romantic or simply friendship

Cosmos Monkeys AU (if the name is already used then I'm sorry I don't remember if anyone else used this)

I saw some Aus , about Macaque and Wukong being the phisical and literal representation of the Sun and the Moon as celestial bodies made monkeys living in the cosmos or space kingdom (or gods that control the sun and moon)

And it gave me an idea for a story

Macaque and Wukong are monkeys born from the cosmos

Wukong from a supernova and Macaque from a dying star on the verge of becoming a blackhole

Macaque and Wukong were the only monkeys living in space and therefore became childhood friends , over the years they became more powerful and more intimate with each other

Heaven feared them so they killed them but the two reincarnated as Wukong and Macaque in the mortal realm

Heaven eventually noticed this fact when Wukong started messing with them so they tried to eliminate them again but it only resulted in kinda leashing Wukong and losing sight of Macaque , but seeing as the two monkeys fought , Heaven wasn't worried about their closeness giving them more strenght and could kill Macaque without Wukong even noticing , even making Macaque think it was Wukong's fault in case he somehow escaped the underworld

Macaque got the memories of his previous life in the underworld because of the circle of reincarnation or lady bone demon gave them to him and became even more resentful to Wukong about their broken relationship because it could have been as close as the one in their past life but he ruined that chance

Then Lbd revived him and the event of the lmk serie goes on kinda like normal plus a shadowpeach reconciliation to friends (later more)

In Shadow's play when Macaque says the Hero and the Warrior are like the sun and moon it has more meaning then MK could immagine

Then there is the fact that while Macaque remembers their past life , Wukong still doesn't , so when Macaque gets hit by nostalgia or does an habit or an action he used to do from his past life Wukong is oblivious , clueless or find the new habits strange and Macaque has to live with the fact that his past life lover doesn't remember him and is probably no more because now there is only Sun Wukong

I don't know if the ending should be Macaque learning to live with there only being Wukong and learn to love him as well

or

Wukong discovering about Macaque's memories and trying to get his past life memories as well with two different versions were in one he succeeds and the other fails and Macaque accepts him as he is even without memories

Cosmos Monkeys AU

Prologue

I was the first one to come into existence , ironically being born from a star dying

I never noticed how lonely I was , maybe because I didn't know how it felt to not be alone from the start

I just spend my days between the stars and did nothing at all

It may be boring for someone else but it was all I ever knew to do

Floating around and looking at galaxies were the only thing I could think of to pass the time in the immense nothingness of space

Until one day I strumbled upon your birth , it was as beautiful as it was dangerous , I already thought of you as such even before knowing you were coming into existence like me

When I realized who came out of the bursting of the supernova I was left spechless a second time

Your radiance made me forget everything before you and I couldn't help but getting closer to you

I will never forget our first meeting

The first time I opened my eyes it was also the first time I saw you

At the time I thought we were family seeing as you were there when I was born , but you said we weren't really related because being born from the galaxies are unique

I didn't really understand it but we looked to be the same so I stuck around you , I was afraid to live alone in such a vast place and it seemed you didn't like it either

I wanted to see you laugh so I played games with you , you looked so confused and excited every time I came up with a new one , it was amusing to see

Eventually I wanted to see what else I could do other than coming up with games so I started experimenting with myself , I thought there was no way it was all I could do when my existence is special itself

You supported me and only looked troubled at the thought of me hurting and your caring brought me joy

But my efforts weren't in vain , I eventually discovered powers so strong to destroy a sun , you followed in my steps wanting to be by my side in everything and I couldn't have been more grateful for your loyalty

I thought we would be together forever but there's a first time for everything

They took my sun away , these beings that called themselves gods took my sun away from me

They feared us , feared our power but we never did anything to them

They captured us and let me watch as they killed my sun before my eyes and then killed me too

I used all my remaining strenght to lay next to my sun , I wanted my last moment to be with him and thinking only of him

My hatred and desire for revenge against the gods was only a passing thought compared to the feeling of wanting my sun to be my only focus for foverer and more

And with a last look at my other half my eyes closed as my last strenghts left me

Context: Macaque is missing Wukong

How MK first meeting with Feral Macaque and the twins basically went

MK:*running away from Lbd after she tricked him by faking to be a scared little girl*

MK:*strumbling across the room where the Feral's cage is kept*

MK:*debating wheter is better to try his luck with the Ferals or Lbd*

Lbd:*approaches rapidly*

MK:*goes 'fuck it' and opens the Feral's cage hoping for the best*

Ferals:*wrecks shit up making Lbd retreat*

MK:*sweats nervously because the Ferals took notice of him*

Mac:*approaches , sniffs Mk then growls*

MK:*sweats even more nervously praying for his life*

Mac:*decides MK is a cub because of his smell and picks him up by the scruff of his neck and takes him with the twins in a safe place to hide from dangers while also killing everything else that moves on the way*

MK:*is scared stiff both by the Ferals and all the killing and confused as hell on why he's still alive?*

Bonus

MK:*cuddled between very dangerous monkeys* help

Wukong: MK-

The Ferals:*growls showing fangs and claws*

Wukong:*sweats* okay this will be harder than I thought *steps foward* now you will release MK or I-

Mac:*attacks him*

Wukong: shit-

Rumble and Savage:*keeping an eye on MK*

MK:*internal agony*

How MK met Rumble and Savage in my Twin shadows Au

MK:Hey Mac-*notices two unknown monkeys in Mac's dojo* uh- who are you?

Rumble: I'm Rumble

Savage: and I'm Savage

MK: ok cool did you see another monkey around here? he's black like you just taller and broodier

Twins:Yes

MK: cool where is he?

Rumble: you're seeing him dumbass

MK:*sweats* what do you mean? I don't see him- and I'm not a dumbass

Savage: yes you are kid

MK: That's mean , you shouldn't call someone dumb without a reason , also where are your parents? it's obvious Macaque isn't here and I can't just leave you here alone

Rumble: never had any

MK:*flinches* sorry- okay then I will take you with me to Pigsy until I figure out what to do with you two

Savage: can we get noodles?

MK: I can ask Pigsy but I think you'll be fine

Rumble: then what are you waiting for? lead the way

MK:sheesh rude much?

Savage: let's go go go Go!

Question for the feral monkies au:

How would the ferals react if they see MK in an overworked/exhausted state?

Sorry for the late reply I'm currently on vacantion somewhere away from home and the Wi-Fi is terrible here

Anyway if the Ferals feel that one of their own is distressed/tired in anyway they:

Have really aggressive reactions to everyone and everything that tries to disturb or take away MK from resting in any way or form , if someone pushes their luck they will get dismembered by Mac , Mac doesn't have much tolerance or pantience and if MK is too tired to phisically stop him from murder then it's goodbye for that person

The Ferals also take MK to be cuddled and comforted in their nest and MK will not be able to leave their side until they feel that MK is okay and rested , or until MK is awake enough to try and escape their iron grip

Snow Macaque AU

I suddenly had this idea for a lmk Au

Basically it starts when Macaque is in diyu and the lady bone demon appears to make a deal with him

But Mac is too weak and delirious from the diyu cleaning his soul to understand a thing

Then Mac tries to gain some clarity and strenght by absorbing the spirit of Lbd to boost himself

Mac had successfully absorbed Lbd because she was already too weak from being sealed away to survive being absorbed

Mac gained clarity and understood what he did and what absorbing Lbd did to him

Because of Lbd's powers he changed both in appearance and powerwise (I will draw how he looks after I return back home from vacantion)

His fur became a snow white and his eyes became a scarlet color with the white of the eyes being golden , his sight was restored but the scar on his face remained , it seems that Ldb's clairvoyance powers made him gain six colourful ears to hear the past , present and future and lastly he gained ice and necromancy powers(he basically gained some immortality as he can just revive himself and because Lbd was a former celestial)he used necromancy to return to the mortal realm

After coming back to life he got attacked by the not-mayor for killing his lady but Mac was much stronger than him and let his shadows consume the not-mayor

Macaque wanders a snowy mountain with his shadow lantern in hand still not knowing what to do with himself yet after reviving

The villagers in the area will see Mac and start a rumour of an Ice king living on the mountain

The rumours will attract the bull family for an alliance and will be surprised of who the ice king really was but will then maintain a good relationship with each other

Mac doesn't want to see Wukong so the bull family makes sure nobody knows of Mac being alive but that will later be in vain by meeting MK and therefore Wukong later on

Before Mac died he and Wukong were best friends without any romantic feelings for each other (*cough*they're*cough* both *cough*dense*cough* jeez what a coughing fit) then after their fight they became enemies , and will still be at the start of their first meeting after Mac revived , they will remain somewhat civil for MK but then Wukong will fall in love with Mac and will have to try to court the oblivious Macaque

I don't mind people asking questions about my ideas for Lmk Aus so if you have any go ahead

MK: Monkey King!!!

Wukong:*startles* uh-wha Ah Hi buddy what do you need?

MK:*sweats* (How do I tell him!?)

MK: uh- so Erlang Shen , Guanyin and Macaque are together in a room

Wukong:*raises brow* is this a joke bud?

MK:...no? no it's not

Wukong:*already speeding through the horizont*

Wukong:*bursts door open* NOBODY KILLS ANYBODY-*trails off seeing the scene in front of him*

Erlang , Guanyin and Macaque:*laughing and playing poker like centuries old friends*

Wukong:*blinks* is this...a nightmare? am I hallucinating?

Macaque:*uncounscious and injured*

Wukong:*grumbles* how did I turn out to be the one taking care of you , don't you have anyone in your contacts that can take my place?*checks Mac's phone and presses a random number on the speed dial*

Erlang Shen:*answers the phone* Hello?

Wukong:*ends the call instantly and looks incredulously at the phone* what the- *tries another number*

Guanyin:*answers the phone* Hello Liu Er do you need anything?

Wukong:*inhales sharply* you know what I'm not gonna question how anymore

Guanyin: Oh hello Wukong is there a reason you're calling me from Liu Er 's phone?

Wukong: ...Well I might as well tell you seeing as Macaque needs a healer right now , but basically I was searching for someone else to take care of him in my place and this happened

Guanyin: I see , I will be there shortly *ends the call*

Wukong:*blinks at the phone and then looks at Mac's uncounscious body* what the hell Macaque

Ooh! If your still doing the Feral Monkies AU I have a question:

What if ther ferals though some multi-dimensional magic stuff found an AU where Wukong is kind of a shithead and overworks MK during training, or an AU where MK is constantly exhausted from all of the demons/big bars he faces essentially everyday?

Would they see diffrent versions of MK like their MK or would they treat diffrent MKs diffrent?

Don't worry I'm still doing my Aus but it's a slow work because of life stuff but I absolutely don't mind being asked questions

Alternative universe stuff is a bit complex , in the Ferals Au they get attached with Mk because he basically freed them (and Mk effort for them to like him) and he had something in him that made the Ferals instincts consider him a cub and adopt him

But in an alternative universe the AltMk might not have that something for them to consider him a cub or the altMk might act in a way that triggers them

If they saw the kind of universe you talk about after they already consider their Mk part of their tribe they would kidnap the AltMk to protect him and violently harm the others , but just because AltMk looked like theirs (if it was someone else or AltMk looked or acted really different from their Mk then they wouldn't really care)

If they saw that kind of universe in the first stages of the Ferals and MK relationship then they wouldn't do anything , because at the start yes they consider him a cub but they took care of him from gratefulness from feeing them and monkey 's instincts and still has to reach the stage of consider Mk part of their tribe so Mk was still an outsider in their eyes

Sneak peak of my next drawing , I'm drawing Macaque from my Snow Macaque Au and the ghosts are part of the drawing (they still need a few details but I will do them later)

Anyway I'm back you all , I finally finished the thing I was busy with and now I have free time (still feel strange having free time after two months of not having any) and I hope I can resume posting

Second sneak peak of the drawing for my Snow Macaque Au , I need to figure out a way to make the ghost expressions better , anyway I'm taking so much time to finish it because I suck at coloring and creating effects but it's turning out fine at least , and Hey I let you all see a bit of Macaque now I hope you will like the finished product

This is Macaque from my Snow Macaque Au , I finally finished it I hope you like it (the shadows on Mac's fur suck but until I figure out how to do them they will stay like this)

Thinking about the theories of a bit ago , about Macaque's possible origin being one of Wukong's clones gained freedom of existing full-time , and then I thought:

If it happened with Macaque one time then what about a second one(this time on accident)?

But this time the clone's personality and appearance is closer to the og!wukong , meaning he's a bit of an asshole but nicer than the original and we see how the others react at suddenly having a second Wukong they can't get rid of

The others are kinda unintentionally mean at first , because they don't really consider clones as people for obvious reasons , so they try to get rid of the clone at first and the clone takes it personal because he's just existing and everyone is trying to unlive him

And ironically the clone is closest with Macaque because the clone doesn't have the same problems and grudges that og!Wukong has with Mac and the same works for Mac's opinion of the clone so he's the only one not trying to get rid of the clone

And og!Wukong gets jealous in the background , he will be like the jealous ex because the clone will do anything to woo Mac

If the clone succeds or not is up to personal preference

The same idea can work with Mk instead

Answer to @sasunaru22fy about my previous post

Wukong's clones have all the memories of the og! Wukong up until being summoned then the clones make their own memories , the og! Wukong has no way of gaining the clones memories and usually just orders them to tell him everything but even then the more troublesome clones can lie so og!Wukong is careful about summoning his least troublesome clones for information gathering and protection

Macaque was one of them and the first to became a full time existing being

If you're implying that the second Wukong(the clone) technically killed Mac and should have the same opinion of him as og! Wukong because they have the same memories then it's partly true but not really

The clone could also be said to technically haven't killed Mac because he didn't phisically did it , it was og! Wukong, and clones gain their own personality and opinions , like Mac , so they have a different view on the events

If you're implying that a clone was the one to originally kill Mac then no , it was og! Wukong , the only full time clone at the time was Mac

The second Wukong came to be only because Wukong got lazy after sealing Dbk and training Mk so accidentaly using the same clone multiple times made him a full time clone

Clones can become full time beings only if you leave them summoned for a long time and/or often until they can get enough strenght to exist on their own and will be harder to poof and then they will not poof at all and you will have to unlive them to get rid of them

OK, so here we go, time to do that eh uh, developing thing the kids are talking about nowadays.

In this au, Lady Bone Demon is freed from her tomb by Azure Lion Demon before she has a chance to resurrect Macaque.

Since they have similar goals, Lady Bone Demon reluctantly agrees to team up with Azure Lion Demon.

“Those in the celestial realm don’t care about the world. It’s about time that these people had some new gods.”

“And that god is you?”

He politely asks her to bring back Macaque from the dead so that he can achieve his second goal, which is reuniting his brotherhood.

She really does not want too

I imagine they argued about it for ten minutes consecutively before she yelled FINE

So boom now they’re an incredibly dysfunctional villain trio 💕💕

Azure Lion wants to free his friends from the memory scroll, which I’m assuming once belonged to the Lady Bone Demon (it’s written in oracle bone script, which is often associated with her, it’s also in her colors)

She knows how to use it, but she definitely doesn’t think that they should open it.

She was in a silly goofy mood when she made it 🥰🥰🥰

Macaque, meanwhile, is just looking for reasons to betray them. Any reason he can find. Just… absolutely going out of his way.

On their impromptu journey to get the memory scroll (which is chilling somewhere on Flower Fruit Mountain in Monkey King’s mystical junk room, which luckily, Macaque has access because technically he’s an exact identical genetic clone of Sun Wukong) They slowly start becoming evil besties bc… I love this troupe 🥺

With LBD’s future vision (which I’m just gonna say she has because she seems to have prophetic dreams (?) and is obsessed with destiny) They make a plan 😼

LBD gets to have her perfect world, Azure Lion gets to overthrow the gods, and Macaque gets to fully replace Wukong, everyone’s happy

except for everyone who lives in the world I guess

Lady Bone Demon: Do you ever get pre-annoyed? As in, you just know that someone is going to walk in and make you angry before they do it? Azure Lion: Uh… no? Macaque: *Walks in*

Lady Bone Demon: *Jaw clenches*

Macaque: Lady Bone Demon gave me a “get better soon” card.”
