the words i have to say, the thoughts, times i had to stop reading to collect myself... oh man. oh fuck. Aspen, my friend i know we were joking and all but that bonus chapter of me kicking San's ass may need to be a thing because what the fuck? a whole ass married man supporting his ex girlfriend? no woman would allow that? i'm sure there may be one but me? oh no buddy. that screams something else to me and that would be enough due to my trauma to want to be done. second san? sir? you better unhand her? like? you lost the right to be mad after you cheated and chose to be a complete an utter dumbass over someone who loved you for someone who is gonna cheat on you now cause karma is a thing buddy and man i would PAY to see that. absolutely. (i swear i will do anything to see that happen) but also Felix? you literal angel. the sweetest angel ever. San can kick rocks and shit.

đša/n: Not only have I returned with an update on Prove Me Wrong (and our beloved Sunshine boy), but wowee I was NOT skimping on the heavier topics/angst this go around. I hope that despite it being not as lighthearted of a chapter, that you still enjoy this update. Weâll return to our regularly scheduled sweetness eventually. Promise.
I also couldnât help but include bestie Jisung more in this chapter because Iâve lowkey been neglecting this lil rascal. xoxo -Aspen

Lee Felix, twenty-three year old bartender with a smile full of sunshine and a heart made of gold, had carried you to bed last night.
And, as expected, your best friend had not shut up about it all morning.
âI was not drooling!â Your squealed, landing a firm smack to Jisungâs arm - though, despite the force with which youâd struck him, his shoulders still shook with laughter.
âYou definitely were,â he managed between gasps, his eyes wrinkled shut as he threw his head back, âI can text Felix right now and ask him if his shoulder was wet?â
âDonât you dare,â you warned, burying your reddened cheeks in your hands.
Jisung hadnât stopped teasing you about your unexpected slumber - or the subsequent events - from the moment youâd woken up. You groaned as he continued cackling next to you on the couch, tears welling in his eyes from just how funny heâd found the entire situation.
The humor, however, was lost on you as your skin flushed deeper into a concerning shade of crimson.
âFine, fine,â Jisung said, still grinning from ear to ear as he waved his hands in front of himself, signaling his temporary surrender, âBut you were definitely drooling.â
âShut up,â you grumbled, rubbing your heated cheeks in an attempt to urge them back into their former, pre-Jisung fueled embarassment shade.
He chuckled again, winking as he stood up to fill a mug of coffee and leaving you alone on the couch - a frustrated pout on your lips. You sighed as you planted your chin atop your palm, elbow on the armrest, and Felix on your mind.
Had he really carried you up to the apartment as Jisung had claimed? You werenât sure what all was true of his recollection or how much was simply an exaggeration at your expense. You should probably thank Felix, regardless of how youâd gotten into the apartment, after heâd managed to handle your unconsciousness with a gentleness that never once roused you.
Though you were a bit too ashamed at the prospect of the potentially true, humiliating contents of the latter half of your evening.
It wasnât too terrible, though - at least, from what you remembered before your little catnap, things had gone well for Felix and Ryujin.
There it was, your opening. The way to reach out without being completely awkward. You pulled out your phone, shooting Felix a quick text to ask if heâd heard from her yet.Â
As you waited for a response, Jisung returned with a steaming mug of coffee - with an added splash of cream, just as you liked it - holding it out to you carefully with both hands. âPeace offering,â he explained as you took it from him, rolling your eyes as you read the statement on the side.
Worldâs Okayest Author.
It had been yet another gag gift from Jisung after youâd initially discovered your love for cringey, cheesy statements on ceramic cups.
âYouâre lucky I love you, you know that right?â you murmured, raising the slightly-bitter drink to your lips before sipping it slowly.
Jisung beamed, obviously doubting that youâd ever stop loving him at this point, âYes, Iâm so unbelievably lucky my beautiful, smart, clever, best friend who definitely drooled on Felixâs shoulder loves me.â
Coffee got caught in your throat, sending you into a coughing fit as you held the mug out for Jisung to grab. He did quickly, shifting from poking fun to fussing over you in an instant.
âBreathe!â he commanded, his brows shooting up high enough to be obscured by his bangs. He set the mug down on the table in a rush, patting your back as though you were a baby that needed burped.
âJesus, Ji,â you sputtered, residual throat-clearing interrupting your words as you slammed your fist against your sternum, âPeace offering, my ass.â
âIâm sorry!â he whined, firm taps shifting into gentle circles being rubbed between your shoulders, âIt was just right there, I had to!âÂ
âHad to?â you croaked, swallowing hard to soothe the sudden scratchiness your choking episode has caused.
âCâmon, sweets,â he pleaded, âIf I were the butt of these jokes youâd still be laughing.â
You hated just how true, and just how fair his statement was.
With a disapproving shake of your head, you let out a long sigh in lieu of an answer. Jisung simply grinned before singsonging out a satisfied, âI knew it,â placing the mug back into your hands and ignoring the daggers you shot his way.
You shook your head, saved from admitting defeat by the chime of your phone. You picked it up with one hand, the other holding your mug to your lips as you took a long sip and relished in the way it soothed the irritation from your near-suffocation.
Felixâď¸: yeah, she messaged me to ask if iâd gotten home alright!
Felixâď¸: i told her i did and then we said goodnight.Â
Felixâď¸: waitâŚshould i have done that? did i mess that up?
You couldnât help the affectionate laugh that escaped your lips, Felixâs doe-eyed expression of panic materializing so vividly in your mind that you barely even noticed Jisung announcing heâd be right back.Â
You shot him a small wave, still smiling as you replied quickly to the messages, hoping to avert the crisis that was a spiraling Lee Felix.
You: Felix, deep breath. Itâs fine, goodnight is definitely not dealbreaker.
The three dots appearing and disappearing as the spirited boy second, third, and fourth guessed himself had become something of a signature in your conversations - evoking a certain fondness - completely certain he was chewing his lip and running his hand repeatedly through his fluffy, blonde locks. You: Whatever it is, you can just say it Felix.
The dots disappeared one final time, before waving along for a solid thirty seconds. You felt your shoulders sink as you read his words, feeling every shred of your dignity evacuate your being.
Felixâď¸: did you sleep alright?
Felixâď¸: sounded like a rough dream for a bit there
Felixâď¸: I stuck around until I thought you were settled, but i was pretty worried
Your heart dropped in your chest, a surge of guilt mostly to blame, though gratitude was taking the small remainder of that accountability. You: You didnât have to do that, Felix.
You: But, thank you. Iâm okay, sometimes my subconscious justâŚhurts.
Explaining these recurring dreams to Felix was harder than youâd have imagined. He was so gentle and soft - radiating joy and peace. You didnât want to dim his shine, especially not as he basked in the glow of Ryujin contacting him.
Felixâď¸: you sure?
Felixâď¸: you can talk to me if you want to
Felixâď¸: but no pressure!!!
The small smile that seemed to accompany conversations with Felix crept back onto your face, pushing the anxiety over explaining yourself far into the background. His messages were soâŚhim. Prone to rambling, yet thoughtful and well-meaning with every tangent he went off on. If only he knew that you were the one feeling nervous about how you were affecting him this time around.
You: Iâm really okay, butâŚnoted, thank you.Â
Not even in the furthest recesses of your imagination would you have figured Felix for the intuitive type, his bumbling nature giving off much more of a clueless vibe than one capable of such inferences.
Yet, here you were, so shell-shocked you nearly dropped your phone - and your coffee - before youâd gathered yourself enough to even attempt to formulate a reply.
Felixâď¸: does it involve how you feel about love?
Attempt had been the key word in your mental monologue, seeing as your fingers flew across the keys in the most avoidant, juvenile way imaginable.
You: I donât wanna talk about it.
Less than a second later, Felix had responded. You could picture him staring at his phone, overthinking the fact that he sent a message so personal. Realizing the troubled thoughts he mustâve been having made you feel a bit ashamed of your own terseness.
Felixâď¸: that feels like an answer
Felixâď¸: but i wonât push, okay?
Felixâď¸: just know i AM here for you, if you ever change your mind
The fact that he still managed to be so understanding, so comforting soâŚFelix about it all, only served to make the way youâd answered him feel even more shameful.
You: Thank you.
It was all you could think of to reply with, setting your phone beside you before leaning your head back against the couch - staring up at the ceiling blankly. You couldnât stop cursing yourself internally, wishing youâd met Felixâs softness with something a bit less abrasive.
At least he didnât seem too terribly torn up over it - you seemed to have that covered on your own at this point, anyways.
Right on cue, with true chaotic-best-friend energy, Jisung barged back into the apartment, his face pale as he held a bright-blue flier in his hand. âJi?â you asked, sitting upright on the couch to search his eyes for anything that could explain his offputting silence.
He stepped forward, blinking rapidly before handing you the innocuous paper, barely managing to whisper, âHoney, Iâm so sorry, I completely forgotâŚâ
âWhat are you talking about, Ji?â you asked, keeping a nervous smile plastered on your face as if it would change whatever he was going on about into something unworthy of his atypical quietness.
You flipped it over, bold black text sending an immediate chill down your spine.Â
Bi-Annual Authorâs Gala.
You felt your breath catch in your throat as you looked up at Jisung with genuine fear in your eyes, his own expression softening into worry - it was probably best that only one of you were in crisis at a time, and you definitely took precedence when it came to this particular event.
As the name stated, the Bi-Annual Authorâs Gala was a party hosted by popular publishers all around the region once every two years - serving both as a social mixer and an award ceremony for authors from all different publishing houses.Â
And it was tonight.
This, on its own, wasnât much cause for concern. You were, in fact, an author and it would be far from your first time in attendance of the Gala. The biggest concern each year was typically finding a dress that suited the occasion in time, or making sure that your makeup wouldnât photograph poorly should you be given an award.
This year, however, the hurdle you needed to overcome was something youâd never had to face before; attending alone.
Youâd attended last yearâs event with San.
Youâd purchased a plus-one ticket in advance, because you certainly hadnât predicted San leaving you before the next Gala.
There were going to be two seats saved under your name, and one body to fill them.
âJi, fuck, you gotta go with me!â you whipped your head up from the flier, ignoring the painful sting that always came along with remembering anything at all about San.
Jisung couldnât look you in the eye - the surefire tell that he was about to tell you something you really didnât want to hear.
âHoney, Minho and I are leaving for Jeju in likeâŚtwo hours, remember?â he spoke in a startlingly soft and serious voice, still unable to meet your eyes, âItâs our first vacation as a couple, I canât cancel on himâŚâ he chewed his lip, finally sparing you a fleeting moment of eye contact.
You understood, of course, but that didnât stop your veins from running cold at the prospect of explaining to everyone there why you had two seats, and no plus one.Â
Understanding did nothing for the fact that you had less than eight hours to find not only an appropriate dress for such an event, but a date who could also dress accordingly. You must have been wearing your dread in every facet of your being, because Jisung was quick to start spouting suggestions.
âWould your publisher let you skip out? Claim any award on your behalf?â
You shook your head, recalling how sheâd reacted when youâd tried to call out of a book signing, let alone an actual award ceremony.
âI highly doubt it, Ji. You know how she isâŚâ you trailed off, your lower lip trembling as you took a shaky inhale.
âOh! Ask Felix, maybe?â he chirped, tilting his head to the side with the first shadow of a smile heâd worn since reappearing with that cursed, blue paper.
ThatâŚwasnât a terrible idea.
You pulled your phone out, typing and retyping your message until your shaky fingers spared you any typos.
You: Hey, what are you doing tonight?
You wondered if Felix would find amusement in knowing you were nervous on the other end of the phone, just as his through-text stammering tickled your funny bone. Such thoughts were quickly cut short as your heart leapt into your throat.
You finally understood what people meant when theyâd complain about how nervous appearing and disappearing typing cues made them.
Felixâď¸: was gonna go out for some drinks with ryujin
Felixâď¸: why? is everything okay?
You swallowed the lump in your throat, trying to convince yourself that encroaching on his first actual outing with - as he oftentimes called her - the love of his life was acceptable. That your personal emergency outweighed the potential of his happiness.
The thought itself felt like poison, making you nauseated at the fact youâd even considered it. It felt almost as wrong to lie to Felix, but it was for the future of the relationship youâd promised to help him secure.Â
You were sure that, should he ever find out the truth, heâd forgive you. Felix was certainly the type to brush something like this off if he knew your heart was in the right place.
You: Yeah, all good. Have fun, be yourself. Tell me all about it later?
You sighed as you tucked your phone back into your pocket, looking up at Jisungâs expectant eyes before shaking your head. His expression fell instantly back into one of guilt and concern. The way his jaw clenched showed you that he was wracking his brain for any other possibility.
You didnât need him to say a word to know that he was likely out of ideas.
There was no ill will towards Jisung, just as there was none towards Felix. Plans with someone you loved were important to those who still believed in itâs magic, after all. The only bitterness your heart held was towards San, and towards love itself.
None of this would be a problem if you simply had never loved San in the first place.
âAre you gonna be okay?â Jisung asked, reaching out to place a comforting hand on your shoulder.Â
Your best attempt at a smile likely appeared more tight-lipped and forced than reassuring, though you did your best to come across as much more composed than you felt.
âYeah, Iâll survive, Ji,â you nearly whispered, nodding your head before lightheartedly pushing him away, âNow, go pack. I donât want Minho to blame me if youâre late for your departure, yeah?â
Jisung nodded, giving a half-hearted grin at your attempt to diffuse the tension, âOkay, sweets. Send me outfit photos? I can at least help with that.âÂ
With that, Jisung leaned forward and pecked the top of your head affectionately, casting a melancholy glance over his shoulder before leaving you alone in the apartment.
All there was to do now was tear apart your closet, put on your makeup, and try not to cry.
You were only confident in the first two.

Time was of the essence, so exhausting your wardrobe was the only option in order to find suitable attire for the Gala. It would be so much easier to head to one of the boutiques uptown, allowing one of the overly helpful employees there to play dress-up-author-Barbie with you.
But you only had two hours, and couldnât risk being late and alone.
So, youâd spent ten minutes pulling every article of clothing resembling formalwear from the closet, spreading them out on your bed before snapping photos to send to Jisung for approval.
You sat at your vanity, pulling your hair back from your face to apply a thin layer of foundation and a generous layer of bronzer to your cheekbones, a necessary effort to combat the washout due to cameras flashing. A bit of a dusty-rose blush, simple flicked eyeliner, and a shock of red lipstick topped off the entire look.
You had to admit, you looked at least ten times more put together than you felt.
The chiming of your phone brought you to your feet, nearly jumping across the room to check what you had rightfully assumed was Jisungâs verdict.
Dumb Squirrel: honey, are you serious?
Dumb Squirrel: that pretty black dress and you considered other options?
Dumb Squirrel: I taught you better than that???
You rolled your eyes, not quite appreciating his humor as much as you would whilst under such immense levels of stress.
You: Unprovoked???
Dumb Squirrel: Minho wants to see your makeup before he agrees with me.
You snapped a quick photo, trying your best to put on a pleasant expression despite how pointless it felt to waste time with selfies, but you knew better than to argue with Jisung after asking him for advice.
Dumb Squirrel: first of all, i am offended
Dumb Squirrel: you hide this bad bitch in pajamas every time we hangout
Dumb Squrrel: rude
You groaned, brows furrowing as you replied to him quickly. You: Help me now, compliment me later.
Dumb Squirrel: yeesh, grouchy.
Dumb Squirrel: i get it though, so i forgive you
Dumb Squirrel: Minho said, quote, âblack dress, match some heels. sleek, sexy and professionalâ
Dumb Squirrel: he also insists that i apologize because âthis isnât a time to jokeâ and to inform you he called me an idiot on your behalf
For the first time since your seemingly endless panic, the ghost of a true smile appeared on your face. You had always known there was a reason you approved of Minho outside of Jisungâs happiness. You: Thanks, both of you. Gotta finish up now, message you when I arrive?
Dumb Squirrel: you got it sweets. good luck!
You set your phone down on the vanity, picking up the elegant black number from your bed. It was a simple dress, enough to look dressed up without overdoing it. The sleeves were full length, clinging tightly to your arms despite exposing both of your shoulders. The neckline was modest, resting in a slight curve against your sternum, the skirt floor length - flaring out just enough to flow - with a slit up to your mid thigh.Â
After slipping it on and struggling with the zipper alone, your reflection told you that Ji and Minho had been absolutely correct in their recommendation - your resolve only solidifying as you took Minhoâs advice about a pair of black pumps. A few pieces of dainty silver jewelry, and an understated black clutch were all that was required to give you an air of poise that - until now - you werenât sure you were actually capable of.
Youâd have no idea this was a last-minute effort if you werenât, well, you.
Sitting down once more at the vanity, slipping your phone into the clutch, you twirled a piece of hair around your fingertip. You didnât have the time to do anything fancy, but knew that your unstyled hair would definitely not blend in with the aura of sophistication youâd managed to exude with everything else adorning your body.
The time restriction may have turned out to be a good thing, you thought to yourself. Straightened hair pulled back into a high, tight ponytail tied the whole look together in a way that you were sure Jisung would gush about for weeks after seeing the photos from the event.
Date or not, you looked absolutely fantastic - and you knew it. That confidence exuded from your features, even when youâd simply gaze blankly into the mirror. It was that same overwhelming aura one would get watching perfume commercials; despite how disinterested the actress may appear, your attention was always pulled for at least a moment.
You gave yourself one last glance, spritzing on a light perfume before making your way to the door. Youâd had the sense to call a cab in advance, thanking whatever deity may have been watching over you as you spotted it pulling up from halfway down the stairs.
Another quick prayer of gratitude as the interior of the cab didnât smell horrible, though this was likely due to the extra fee youâd paid to have a nicer, newer model pick you up.
The driver politely greeted you, nodding as you prattled off the address quickly. He seemed to be a man of few words, yet another thing you could only accredit to a guardian angel or impossible luck.
The ride was rather uneventful, save for the occasional bit of traffic at stoplights, and youâd managed to arrive at the venue with five minutes to spare. You snapped a quick photo outside of the venue, sending it to Jisung so heâd know youâd made it safely.
You: Made it to the Gala safe and sound. Now to make it through the evening without needing to explain the lack of dateâŚpray for me. Talk later?
You shut your phone off then, not wanting to risk it going off during any announcements for the awards, slipping it back into your clutch to avoid the temptation to distract yourself with messages or social media.Â
Your publicist spotted you from the entrance, waving her arm above her head to draw your attention. You stepped towards her, plastering on your best smile as you greeted her warmly. âNari, good to see you,â you spoke softly, ghosting your lips above her cheeks rather than actually greeting her properly - the alternative being to stain her makeup red.
âAm I ever glad to see you,â she sighed, audibly relieved as she returned the gesture, âI hadnât heard from you all day and had honestly begun to worry youâd forgotten.â
âI would never,â you lied, turning your head as your name was called by one of the photographers.
You let the corners of your lips raise as you parted your lips, the look Nari had taught you under the name pleasantly surprised to be photographed. It sounded dumb when sheâd first told you about it - though the shots, and how gentle and candid you ended up looking in them, quickly won you over to her side.
âYou came alone?â Nari asked quietly, speaking through her teeth behind her own gentle smile. âMhm,â you hummed softly, turning towards a different photographer to allow them all the shots they wanted. It wasnât as it would be as an actress or musician - there werenât really paparazzi to speak of. This was moreâŚdocumentation for online profiles, potential headshots for book covers, and coverage for the sake of equal representation amongst the arts.
Despite your hopes that Nari would leave the topic alone, it seemed youâd used up your luck reserves for the day.
âDidnât you book a plus one?â she mumbled haphazardly, trying to keep her expression calm as she wondered how, as your publicist, sheâd explain away the empty seat.
âTwo years ago, yes,â you reminded her, hoping your discomfort wouldnât be apparent in any of the photos.
âYou couldnât have canceled?â she asked, sounding more and more urgent despite speaking through a closed jaw.
âDidnât cross my mind,â you dodged, allowing your face to shift from pleasant to neutral as the photographers gathered around the next author to arrive, âIs it really that big of a deal?â
Nari sighed, pushing her glasses up her nose as she shook her head, âIn general, no. As your publicist, yes.â
You frowned, turning your body to face her. You did your best to hide your displeasure - it was embarrassing enough for you without Nari reminding you that sheâd have to field questions about your dateless award show from fans of your books.
âNari, I really donât see what the problem is, people show up to events without an escort all the ââ
You were cut off by a blossoming smile on Nariâs face, visible relief in her eyes as she stared behind you.
âThat wasnât funny, you really had me going,â she scolded, glancing at you only momentarily before allowing her focus to return somewhere behind your shoulder. âNari, what are you talking about? I meant it when I said I came ââ you were cut off by an all too familiar throat clearing behind you.
â-- aloneâŚâ you trailed off, the hair on the back of your neck slowly rising as a heavy feeling of dread made itself at home from head to toe - though it seemed to constrict your heart in your chest. âHey,â a familiar set of sharply angled lips spoke quietly. His jaw - one that you could vaguely recall pressing your lips against once upon a time - clenched awkwardly, the man attached shuffling in place. His sheepish eyes landed upon yours, holding a strong uncertainty that only seemed to increase the contrast with the blatant shock you wore.
You swallowed hard - fight and flight playing the highest-stakes game of chicken youâd ever considered in your mind.Â
Both of these options felt like a nightmare.Â
Punching him in front of cameras? Tempting, and Jisung would probably ask you to sign a copy - probably even treat you to a fancy and expensive dinner after bailing you out on an assault charge. Though, as far as PR went, it was a horrible decision - having an angry publicist was never a smart choice.
Running off was just as enticing, the desire to head home without looking back - finishing a bottle of wine alone in a pretty dress - sounded absolutely cathartic. Though, Nari would have to explain your sudden disappearance - which also translated to having an angry publicist. You asked the only question you truly felt like you needed answered in that moment, though you couldn't quite recognize your voice's newfound hollowness as your own.
âSan, what the fuck are you doing here?â

Lee Felix was not the type to check his phone on a date. If anything, he was the type to leave it in his truck, devoting the entirety of his attention to the person sitting before him.Â
That had been his intent this evening - to sit across from Ryujin and finally engage in meaningful conversation. To smile and laugh with her as he filled in the blanks heâd so desperately craved the answer to as heâd crushed from afar. To lose himself in her eyes as she spoke about her passions.
Yet, completely out of character, Felix had forgotten to take his phone out of the pocket of his tight slacks. He, of course, had apologized when it interrupted their small talk, quickly silencing the ringer before returning to his previously enraptured state.
Even further from his typical behaviors, Felixâs curiosity about what awaited him beyond his lockscreen had stuck in his mind. So much, in fact, that he couldnât stop himself from taking a peek at the screen whilst Ryujin was in the restroom.
Confused only slightly covered Felixâs reaction when he opened your text, swallowing hard to prevent his jaw from dropping at the sight of the photo attached;
#1 Love Haterđ: Made it to the Gala safe and sound. Now to make it through the evening without needing to explain the lack of dateâŚpray for me. Talk later?
He was at least 99 percent certain that he wasnât the intended recipient, yet everything about your message sparked question after question in his mind. What Gala were you referring to? If he were to glean anything from your attire and more-glamorous-than-usual makeup, it was some sort of formal event. Was this why youâd asked him about his plans for tonight? He felt his stomach lurch with guilt at the thought of you alone at something soâŚso utterly not like the you he knew. So formal and gaudy.Â
Felix had grown accustomed to seeing you dressed comfortably in oversized sweaters, a messy bun or completely unstyled hair framing your barely-made-up face.Â
Felix had only ever seen you in casual settings; your apartment, his truck, the food court, and the art studio. You looked beautiful, and Felix could acknowledge and appreciate the effort youâd put into your appearance for whatever this âGalaâ was.Â
Heâd always found your features to be pretty, though, even with your face smooshed against the window of his truck as you slept soundly.
To Felix, seeing you like this rather than how you usually present yourself was like being offered two slices of cake made up with the same ingredients, simply decorated differently. He simply couldnât pick one over the other.
Ryujin still hadnât returned, allowing his mind to continue questioning every aspect of the message youâd sent. He could only put so many pieces together on his own, though, and found himself increasingly antsy as he wondered how you were holding up - out of your element, and alone.
Heâd shot you a quick text, trying to see how you were doing. He couldnât help but frown as the checkmark stayed faded, not even registering as delivered. Was your phone dead? If it was, how could you call anyone if you needed something? He quickly scrolled his contacts, finding Jisung and typing out a message before he could even consider other options. Felix: whatâs the gala?
Ryujin came back out then, giving Felix a brilliant smile that instantly made him wish heâd never seen your message. He was truly happy to have this time with her, finally getting the chance to become more than the guy who makes her drinks, yet here he was - worrying about you.
âSorry I took so long, there was a line,â she explained before sliding back into her chair, lifting her wine glass to take a small sip.
âNo worries,â Felix assured, his typically shining grin dimmed significantly as he tapped his foot subconsciously beneath the table.Â
If Ryujin noticed a change in his behavior, she didnât let on, launching right back into where sheâd left the discussion.
Though once enamored by every word that left her lips, Felix barely registered Ryujinâs recollection of her previous job as a secretary before moving on to her current position as an executive assistant. He felt his phone buzz against his thigh. Felix was doing his best to nod and smile attentively, despite the way his fingertips were twitching with the desire to pull up his phone and get the answers he craved.Â
Ryujin finished her story, looking at Felix expectantly as she took another sip of her wine. Shit, did she ask me something?
His palms began to sweat, another buzz against his thigh only serving to worsen the clamminess. He gave his best attempt at a remorseful smile, standing from his seat to give her a slight bow of apology.
âIâm really sorry, Iâll be right back, okay?â His eyes were wide, and it seemed to suddenly register with Ryujin that something was going on with him - that his attention had been elsewhere for the last several minutes. âOh, yeah,â she said, her kind expression barely faltering as she read the look in his eyes as concern, âIs everything alright?â
âI hope so,â Felix replied with uncertainty, half of his mouth upturning into a crooked smile. Ryujin nodded, seeming to understand fully that this was something important to him - why else would his mood have shifted so suddenly?
Felix bowed again, though this time from gratitude, before hastily walking off in the direction of the outdoor patio. He pulled his phone out so quickly that heâd nearly dropped it, his level of worry causing him to mess up his own lock code not once - but twice.
Jisung (tried to đ once): howd you know about the gala?
Jisung (tried to đ once): its some fancy writing award thing i think tho?
Felixâs brow furrowed so deeply into his head that there would likely be residual wrinkles for a few minutes after he finally relaxed, his fingers flying across the keyboard as he chewed on the inside of his cheek.
Felix: and she went alone? đ what if she wins?
Felix: accept an award alone? đ
Felixâs guilt from earlier was on the fast track to evolve into unadulterated shame. He wondered why sheâd have kept this from himâŚsure, he was busy, but her secrecy almost gave him further cause for concern.
Jisung (tried to đ once): yeahâŚiâm on jeju with Minho rn
Jisung (tried to đ once): she said you were busy but if you arent?
Jisung (tried to đ once): sheâd appreciate someone there, i think
Jisung (tried to đ once): at least to save her from her publicistâs wrath
Felix sighed hard enough that it couldâve easily been mistaken as a frustrated groan. He was far from being irritated though - uneasy due to his lack of understanding, maybe, but not frustrated.
Felix: why would her publicist hound her?
Felix: was she not supposed to be alone?
Felixâs confusion only grew stronger, every answer to his questions revealing at least two more things he didnât understand.Â
Jisung (tried to đ once): its not really my place
Jisung (tried to đ once): all i can say comfortably is that sheâd planned on a plus one
Jisung (tried to đ once): and some shit happened
Jisung (tried to đ once): emphasis on shit
Felixâs heart sank. On one hand, you hadnât shared this information with him yourself. If he acted on it, would you be upset with him for prying? Upset with Jisung for sharing? On the other, from what he gathered, tonight might be painful for you - especially if youâd planned on someone special being by your side for it.
Felix: you really think sheâd want me there?
Felix decided to double check, despite Jisungâs earlier statement that youâd likely appreciate a friendly face. If anyone would be able to predict your reactions closest to complete accuracy, it would be your best friend.
Jisung (tried to đ once): i know she would.
Thatâs when Felix made arguably the toughest decision of his adult life, stuffing his phone back into his pocket as he reapproached the table - Ryujinâs momentary happiness fading as she recognized the look on his face.
âWhatâs up?â she asked, trying to remain casual despite the sudden intensity in Felixâs gaze.
âPlease forgive me,â he started, though his voice sounded much more resolute than a plea for forgiveness should, âThereâs an emergency with one of my friends, I really have to go.â
Ryujin blinked a few times, nodding her head before giving him a sweet smile - disappointment barely visible as she responded calmly, âI understand completely.â
âRain check?â Felix asked hopefully, pulling his blazer from the back of his chair with a raised brow before slinging it over his arms.
âOf course,â she replied softly, watching as he tossed enough cash for their meal and tips onto the table before handing her a few bills to pay cab fare to get her home.
She blinked at the money in her hand before looking back up at him, her brows creased together. Sure, she hadnât known Felix longâŚbut his entire demeanor looked different somehow. Gone was the awkward, shy, fumbling man sheâd arrived with - in his place stood a man completely sure of himself, confident in his choice to cut their date short in the name of a friend in need.
As she watched Felix race back to his truck, turning the keys in the ignition before heâd even buckled his seatbelt, Ryujin wasnât quite sure if she was more puzzled or besotted by this brand new side of Lee Felix.

As you stood face to face with San you became certain of two things.
Firstly, he was exactly the same. From the way he parted his hair, to the slight lean to the right in his posture, San had not changed - even a tiny bit. No sign of new fine lines or wrinkles. No difference in the offhanded way heâd addressed you. The only difference, in fact, was a glittering gold band on his left ring finger.
That had led you to your second revelation; any love you had for him was - in fact - gone. The tentative smile he offered you that used effortlessly placate even your largest irritations only served to give you an uncomfortable case of the goosebumps, chilling you to the very core. The way he tilted his head, once something youâd found precious now only infuriated you.Â
How dare he look at you so calmly after what heâd done? How dare he show up at an event that wasnât even for him in the first place? How dare he show up with the audacity to escort you wearing a wedding ring after breaking off your engagement to marry the woman whoâd likely slid that onto his finger?
How dare he do this in front of your publicist, who now wore a relieved and excited grin on her face at the notion of having the seat next to you filled.
How dare he waltz up to you with absolutely no warning, uttering a casual hey as if you were somehow friends?Â
How fucking dare he?
Your teeth were clenched following your less-than-amicable question, jaw set in a tensed position as you crossed your arms against your chest.
âDonât act this way,â he started, his brows knitting together before he pursed his lips.
âI said what the fuck are you doing here?â you hissed, eyes widened with a rage that, until just now, you believed had been abandoned in favor of grief.
âI ââ he cut himself off, leaning his head back and closing his eyes as he took a sharp breath in through his nose - the telltale flaring of his nostrils showing just how hard he was working to keep himself gentle, âI was supposed to be your plus one. Iâm not so shitty that Iâd let you sit alone at the Gala.â
âI beg to differ,â you deadpanned, âYouâre exactly that shitty, and nothing would make me happier than if youâd never shown up here.â
Sanâs jaw clenched as he took in your quiet anger. Heâd experienced different sides of you before, but this was new.Â
Youâd had jealous anger before, resulting in tears and long monologues of your insecurities - coating everything you did like a cold drizzle, sinking you into yourself as youâd seek warmth in any way possible.
Youâd had explosive anger, too. Raising your voice and refusing to listen to reason, certain that exactly what you believed to be happening was strictly fact - down to every last detail. Like an earthquake, threatening destruction on anything not secured tightly in place.
Now, though? Your face was blank, save for the slightly widened state of your eyes and the hard line your lips had formed. Your words were clear and concise, as if you had been waiting to say these very words to him for your entire life. You sounded sure. You sounded calm.
You were the eye of a hurricane, a single spot of calm amidst the raging sea. Moving in any direction too quickly could plunge him into the chaotic, swirling depths.
âUnfortunately,â you continued on, not once shifting your steely gaze away from his, âIt seems that in order to be rid of you, Iâd need to do something my publisher will absolutely disapprove of.â
San swallowed hard, âI didnât come here with the intention to upset you ââ his eyes bulged as you laughed - as though his attempt at reassurance was actually the funniest thing youâd ever heard in your life.
âThatâs fucking rich, Choi San, considering youâre planning to walk at my side as though youâve done nothing wrong,â you took a step closer, despite how sick the proximity made you feel, just to ensure that no prying eyes or gossip-hungry ears could pick up on a thing you said.
âYou want to come here, to an award ceremony for my profession, wearing the ring given to you by the woman you swore to me I didnât need to worry about?â you scoffed under your breath, every bit of your body language screaming discomfort and volatility.
You whispered the last sentence, the audacity he had to appear shocked, requiring you to push back against the urge to spit in his face, âBut, I guess since you didnât come here to upset me, itâs all fine I suppose.âÂ
If it hadnât been for Nari, youâd have definitely caused a bigger scene.Â
If you didnât know for a fact that sheâd have several choice words, if not threats on your career should you turn San away, youâd have simply called him a cab and told him to get fucking lost.
You had to be escorted by the man who ruined your entire concept of love for the night. There was no other option. You suddenly found yourself wishing youâd simply not been reminded by Jisung about the event earlier, simply missing it and facing Nariâs wrath.
That was better than forcing yourself to pretend to be fine next to San.
If you had to be escorted by the largest reminder of your heartache, you refused to do it with an agreeable demeanor - so you turned away from him suddenly, making a beeline for the outdoor bar, hoping to get a couple of drinks to coax you into spending the evening next to the devil.Â
Youâd expected him to perhaps follow you, at least having the decency to be as close to invisible as he could be in the seat next to you for the evening.
Youâd expected him to let you get a drink, maybe to even understand why you wanted to dull your senses around him.
What you hadnât expected was his sudden, tight grip around your wrist - stopping you in your tracks.
âI showed up for you,â he whispered with accentuated sibilance, a noise more closely associated with a feral cat than a man. His grip tightened on your wrist as his eyes grew wide, âI left my wife home to escort you at this stupid fucking gala,â he spat that bit bitterly, his nose wrinkling with anger, âthat Iâve never actually liked attending, just so you donât feel fucking embarassed, all alone.â Sanâs voice had morphed into one filled with venom, itâs sole intent to mock you and make you feel small.
âI didnât fucking ask you to,â you hissed back, ignoring the stinging in your eyes at his words. You didnât love him anymore, this was true. You didnât care about his opinion, and that was true, too.Â
It was also true that he knew you well enough to know exactly where to prod, exactly how to hurt you.
You barely noticed whispers of a few passerby as the two of you exchanged your hushed, turbulent stabs.
You barely noticed the familiar sound of an engine thrumming beneath the hood of a red pickup truck.
His grip grew tighter, making you wince slightly, âYouâre so fucking ungrateful,â San continued, running his free hand through his hair - as heâd always done when heâd grown frustrated with you - before shooting his darkened eyes back towards you, âAll youâve ever done is complain about everything I do for you, no matter how fucking much I hated doing it.â
âI didnât want you here,â you insisted, trying with futility to pull your wrist from the constraint of his fist, âThis isnât for me,â you swallowed the thickness growing in your throat, ignoring the way your voice quivered as you spoke - determined not to break where he could see you, âIf this were for me, youâd be gone. In fact, youâd never have shown up here in the first place, San.â
San grew red in the face as he pulled you closer by your wrist, hissing whatever the opposite of sweet nothings were directly into your face, âYou stupid, selfish, spoiled little ââ he suddenly stopped, his gaze focusing behind you reminding you eerily of the way Nari had spotted him before.
The smell of a summerâs rain and wildflowers flooded your senses, prefacing a warm hand resting against your bare shoulder.Â
Sanâs jaw clenched as he glanced at the hand, his eyes slowly making their way up to the face attached.
It was then that a familiar, comforting bass voice met your ears - soothing you despite the intimidating closeness San maintained with you.Â
You turned your head to confirm your suspicions, relief overpowering the bewilderment you felt seeing the last person youâd expected to show up this evening.
âSo sorry Iâm late,â he whispered just loud enough for San to hear as well, stepping close enough that he hovered directly over your back.
Felix.
âIâd appreciate if youâd unhand my date." He nearly growled, the look on his face completely foreign to the gentle, fluffy haired boy you'd grown so accustomed to. "Now.â
oh no, whereâd my pants go!

A/N: ty to the nonnie on my main who asked if Iâd ever write virgin!jjk men :3 [MDNI]

Who wouldâve thought?
Of all people, Sukuna, a virgin? It just didnât make sense.
He was this stand-offish asshole who most people respected out of pure fear. He didnât exactly do parties and yet you could always find him at one. Heâd always have some chick on his arm or even in his lap so, in what world would anyone with a brain assume heâs actually never been inside a woman before?
And to make his lack of game all the more unbelievable, heâs even rumored to have a big dickâ itâs like some overly well-known campus fact about the guy.
So, again, what reason would anyone have to think the guy was a virgin?
Certainly not you, of course. And you donât expect to be the only person to find out such information either.
The way you find out is probably even more bizarre than the fact itself. You and him had little to no reason to ever interact with each other. You werenât some shy nerd who holed herself up in her room all day or anything but you werenât much of the party type other.
You were stuck somewhere in the middle of all that, vicariously living through some of your friends who had better things going for them.
As such, there was no real reason for you and Sukuna to cross paths. He never even had a reason to acknowledge your existence until the two of you are paired up together for a project in the one class you happen to take together.
ââ
The background noise is the chatter of your fellow classmates and their own project partners, you find your partner grumbling out a low, âWhat?â In response to your last statement, having hardly heard a thing you said.
âI said,â You huff, sitting beside the man in question as today marks week two of you being paired up with him for this semesterâs project, âWe should be meeting up outside of class too. We could get his knocked out in like a day if you just-â
âOh that,â Sukuna cuts off casually. Seated all slouched back in his seat, his legs sprawled out in that signature manspread of hisâ he rolls his eyes at your little reminder, âYou said somethinâ about that last week.â
You speak through slightly gritted teeth, fighting the headache heâs about to give you from this conversation alone, âAll the more reason for you to take it into consideration. The faster we get this done, the less we have to deal with each other.â
As you say that, you glance at him only to find his eyes directly on yours already. Heâs got such lazy posture, his head tilted slightly whilst he gazes at you so intently, and his big muscular arms folded across his chest. Even wearing a black hoodie and gray sweats, he still looks as attractive as everâ mean low-lidded crimson eyes locked on yours, tattooed face so beautifully defined, and rosy lips pulled into such an uninterested little frown.
Up until your words hit his ears properly, âThe less we have to deal with each other, huh?â Sukuna repeats, narrowing his eyes even further at you, âYou barely even know me ând yet you want nothing to do with me already.â
âI know enough about you, Sukuna,â You say with a sigh, âAnd you hardly contribute to this project as is. Which only proves that everything they say about you is probably true.â
He arches a brow, his interest piquing, âAnd what exactly do people say about me?â
You let off a light scoff, âDonât act like you donât know.â
âBut I donât know,â Sukuna tells you honestly, maroon eyes boring into yours.
You stare for a moment as you try to decipher whether or not heâs being honest right now. How does he not know what people say about him? Everyone talks about his brooding personality very openly.
âThey say youâre an ass,â You eventually say to the man.
To which his lips twitch into a slight smirk, âAnd you believe that?â
âSeeing as Iâve asked you to, at the very least, type your name on this document and you havenât even done that yet,â You scoff, âYes.â
The two of you mildly glare at one another for a moment before Sukuna leans up in his seat. Breaking eye contact for just a moment to look at his laptop, he swiftly moves to open up that shared document of yours and types his name out with a heavy sigh.
After which, heâs slouching back again and looking at you, âDonât believe everything people tell you, woman.â
You roll your eyes at him, âWhat? Are you not fond of rumors? That still doesnât negate the fact that youâre an assho-â
âWhen do you want to meet up?â Sukuna grumbles out almost reluctantly, watching the way you pause and swallow thickly as he catches you off-guard.
Heâs almost even intrigued by how quickly you bounce back, despite being caught by surprise, âFriday. Are you free?â
âUnfortunately,â He grumps.
You give him a little shrug, âGood. Iâll see you then.â
And that was it. That was how each and every interaction with you and Sukuna went. Bickering back and forth about him not doing shit to help you with something thatâll affect your grade majorly, criticizing you about being too focused and needing to relax every now and then, and even calling you a stuck-up little brat one timeâ it was safe to say, you and Sukuna didnât get along too well.
Not that you minded anyway. He wasnât your first partner to care little about their grade so, you knew how to deal with these kinds of people by now. Typically, you indulge yourself in their craving to ârelaxâ just once and then they promise to start helping. Youâve gone down that path before and itâs worked for you then so you assume things will go the same way with Sukuna.
Plus, you guess you can give him a slight pass for his asshole attitude, at least he has a pretty face to look at. Dark ink always decorating his awfully smooth skin, deep dark yet beautiful ruby-shaded eyes boring into whatever it is his focus on, and broad shoulders looming over your smaller figure every time he stands in front of youâ you can't help but feel both attracted and intimidated by the man.
ââ
Which is exactly why when you open your apartment door for the scheduled meetup that Friday to crane your head up at him, youâre swallowing thickly to settle your nerves. Youâve never been alone with the man so of course youâre a bit nervous.
Especially with the way he gazes down at you like thatâs exactly where you belong: beneath him. His eyes are filled to the brim with intensity and yet heâs only just set them on you. Wearing a noticeable black compression shirt and those signature gray sweets of his, he almost appears as though heâd just come from the gym.
And just as you take in his appearance, he very openly takes in yoursâ his eyes raking over your body and taking in every single inch of you. After all, just as it was your first time alone with him, it was his first time seeing you dress so comfortably. He doesnât even try to hide the way he stares at your tits peeking out from the rather thin spaghetti-strap top you were wearing, his eyes soon trailing down slowly to those tauntingly short shorts you had on.
âSo,â Sukuna swipes his tongue over his lips and cocks his head to the side, hands stuffed in his pockets and eyes yet to lift from your legs, âAre you gonna stare at me all day or are you gonna let me in?â
You blink out of whatever little daze you were in, having found yourself gazing at his chest far longer than you meant to. It was right in front of your face after all, how could you look anywhere else? And his shirt was so damn tight, the fabric hugging his well-toned body perfectly, so much so that you swore you could make out piercings on his-
Sukuna leans forward suddenly, his face nearing yours to gain your full attention, âIf you keep staring at me like that, Iâm gonna assume you invited me over for something else-â
âSorry,â You chirp out as you clear your throat and awkwardly step back a bit to let him in, âYou can come in.â
Nodding, Sukuna slips by you and you shut your apartment door behind him. Then, youâre quick to lead him over to your living room where youâd previously been working on your project.
The two of you are hasty to take a seat on your couch, both of you only a few inches apart from one another whilst you lean toward your coffee table and log into your already open laptop. Sukunaâs eyes are all over you as always, studying your side profile, your intent focus on the screen in front of you, and even the way you-
âDid you even bring anything?â You suddenly ask before you glance at the man.
Sukuna quickly meets your gaze, ripping his eyes off of wherever theyâd been previously, âWas I supposed to?â
âSukuna,â You sigh out, âPlease tell me youâre joking right now.â
He swallows at the mere sound of his name rolling off your tongue in that scolding tone of yoursâ heâs heard such a tone from you time and time again and yet, for whatever reason, it never seems to annoy him.Â
âIâm not.â He says plainly.
âHow are we supposed to work on this if you-,â You cut yourself off and decide not to even attempt arguing with him. Arguing wonât change the fact that he showed up with nothing. âJust uhm,â You glance elsewhere for a second before an idea comes to mind and you place your laptop down and stand up, âStay here.â
Sukuna doesnât say anything. He merely watches as you huff and walk off, swiftly exiting the living room and disappearing down a nearby hall. He swears he finds himself looking at you a bit more than intended. Especially as you walked off, his eyes dropping to your ass and those damn shorts of yours.
Even when youâre out of his sight, he still finds himself staring in the direction of which you went, almost unable to look away for whatever strange reason.
That lasts for a few minutes until he snaps out of it and leans back against the couch, tossing his head back and letting out a long sigh. You soon return to find him with an arm stretched along the back of the couch, his legs spread as usual, and his eyes up on the ceiling.
He doesnât even notice youâve returned until he feels something placed in his lap. Looking down, Sukuna finds your laptop kindly set on top of him. To which his brows furrowed in confusion and he looked at you to see you sitting on the floor in between the couch and the coffee table with a paper and pencil in front of you.
âWhatâs this?â Sukuna scoffs.
You donât even spare him a glance as you begin writing something down, âHow weâll get things done.â He opens his mouth to say something but then youâre looking back at him with a glare, âI already organized the parts of this project that you have to do so, since itâs on my computer, you can work on that and Iâll work with what I remember.â
You wholeheartedly expected him to find something about this to disagree with you on but, to your surprise, he simply nods and redirects his focus to your laptop immediately.
And then, the two of you work exactly like that for the remainder of that little study session.
ââ
Sukunaâs not terrible to work with when itâs just you and him. If anything, heâs rather cooperative and a lot smarter than he leads on.Â
Which is why a solid two hours of productivity flies by surprisingly smoothly with him. If you asked him a question, he answered. Told him to do something, heâd say something snarky, and then do whatever it is youâve instructed anyway.
It all went so perfectly up until he let out a really heavy sigh, âAlright, Iâve had enough for this.â Sukuna says casually.
Heâs been repeating a similar phrase every thirty minutes or so but he usually gets right back to work after getting ignored by you. This time though, you get the feeling heâs serious when he pushes your laptop off of his lap and places it forward on the coffee table.
Itâs then that you frown, âOh câmon, we were getting so much done,â You comment as you glance back to him.
He shrugs, âI canât keep looking at that damn screen, itâs giving me a headache.â
âOf course it is,â You utter sarcastically, rolling your eyes whilst you place your pencil down and throw your arms up to stretch, âFine then, we can take a break.â
Sukunaâs brows lift in surprise. He didnât expect you to listen to him, âGood.â He hums, âI was getting bored as well.â
You scoff, âWere you?â
âYeah, can we do something else?â He asks.
Turning around, you rotate the way youâre sitting so that youâre facing him and your back is resting against your coffee table. âLike what?â You muse, meeting his low-lidded gaze.
âTalk,â Sukuna says.
Thatâs it? He wanted a break to talk to you? Your eyes are narrowing at him before you even realize, âTalk?â You repeat with a scoff, âSeriously?â
He nods, âMhm.â
âWhat do you wanna talk about, Sukuna?â As you ask him that, you watch the way his eyes casually slide down to your lips.
Does he mean to be this indiscreet with his looks? Or is he eyeing you down like that on purpose?
The man shrugs, âAnything outside of fuckinâ school.â
You laugh at that, âOkay, I can work with that.â
He tilts his head at you and licks his lips, âYeah?â Something about your little laugh threw him off.Â
âMhm,â You hum as you look down at your hand, fiddling with your nails a bit, âThe rumors⌠are they true?â
Thrown off yet again, Sukunaâs brows pinch together. âRumors?â He echoes in a genuinely confused tone, âWhat rumors, woman?â
The sound of your scoff makes him stiffen in his seat. Almost in an instant, the atmosphere had changed suddenly. âCâmon, donât play dumb,â You tease, lifting your gaze to him again, âThe rumors about you.â
He gives you a perplexed look and itâs almost as though you could see the gears in his head turning. âIf you know something, say it.â He demands.
You sigh, âSukuna, do you seriously hear nothing people say about you?â
Sukuna shrugs, âI donât care enough to remember. So what is it? What rumor?â
Youâre just curious. You swear thatâs all it was. And, naturally, since he seemed to have warmed up to youâ of course you wanted to know if that rumor about his dick was true. Youâre both adults and itâs just a silly question. Plus, with the way heâs been looking at you all afternoon, youâre sure he wonât mind answering you with a simple yes or no.
Glancing to the side, your shoulders lift a bit, âItâs uh, rather intimate.â You hush out.
Sukuna narrows his eyes at you, âIntimate?? An intimate rumor about me?â
His emphasis on himself makes your eyes flick back over to him. âYeah, are you sure you donât know what they say about you??â You ask again.
âPositive. Now speak, what is it they say?â Sukuna huffs impatiently, even more curious about this little rumor after the mention of it being intimate. After all, heâs never-
âPeople say you have a big dick,â You utter way too casually.
So nonchalantly that it makes him choke, a choke you donât mess with the way he clears his throat and sits up a little. âWhat?â He rasps out.
You bat those stupidly false innocent eyes at him, âI didnât stutter,â Your tone dips into something different and he catches every bit of it, âPeople say you have a big dick, is it true?â
Sukuna clears his throat and for the first time, he glances away from you. Then, he opens and closes his mouth, contemplating his next words carefully before they soon fall from his lips, âYou wanna find out?â
His offer spurs a shift in your seat from you as you scoot closer to him ever so slightly, âYou wanna show me?â You ask boldly, your tone direct, and not even a flicker of hesitation present.
âDo I want to-,â Sukuna pauses, his eyes scanning the entirety of your seated frame as you inch closer to him, âWhat?â He huffs, swallowing thickly.
You move to stand on your knees and lean forward to the couch, soon propping your chin up on your palm as you look at him, âShow me,â You chuckle, âI asked if you wanted to show me, Sukuna.â
He blinks, âShow you my cock?â
You shrug, âYeah.â
The air is so thick right now, Sukunaâs not sure how exactly he can play this off without making a fool of himself. He gulps yet again, only to watch as your eyes start to drop down along his body.
âStop,â He rushes out, âKeep your eyes up here. On mine,â He commands in a low tone, earning your gaze once more.
And then itâs quiet for a moment. Heâs staring at you and youâre obediently keeping your eyes up on his. Sukuna hates it but he doesnât know what to say or do from here. The last thing he wanted was for you to find out his little secret.Â
Itâs like he was waiting for a fucking pin to drop, something to break the silence. Yet, his mind was going blank and words were failing him at the moment. Heâs flirted with women before, plenty of times actually, effortlessly evenâ but for whatever reason, as you sit there with those stupidly pretty eyes staring at him, his mind simply flakes on him.
Heâs like that for a minute longer until you move. So subtly too, sliding a hand to his thigh, leaning forward slightly, batting your lashes at him, âSukuna?â You whisper.
His hips are rolling upward slightly at the sound of his name alone. âW-What?â He stammers, mentally cursing himself a thousand times over.
âIf you donât wanna show me you can jusâ say no,â You hum, smiling a bit, âYâknow that, right?â
He scoffs, âOf course I know that, woman.â
âIf you know that thenâŚâ Your fingers lightly squeeze his thigh and you tilt your head, âAre you gonna tell me or show me whether or not those rumors are true?â
Something simply clicks inside Sukunaâs head. Rose-tinted lips cracking into a smirk, the man spreads his legs further and slouches back into the couch, âFind out for yourself since youâre so curious.â
Your eyes go wide, âWhat?â
Sukuna scoffs lightly, moving one of his arms from the back of the couch and placing his hand over his crotch. Of course, your gaze sinks down to his veiny hand, watching as he palms a stupidly large bulge in his sweats.
Your breath hitches a bit, âI-I-â
You donât even get the chance to get it out before heâs cutting you off, âCâmere,â Sukuna hums in that low voice of his.
âWhat?â You whisper.
You and him make eye contact again and he nods his chin toward the space in between his legs. Nothing can really explain why you follow his gesture and quickly find yourself sitting in between his legs, taking a deep breath as you settle your hands on his thighs.
Sliding your touch up and up and up until your fingers graze his hand. The same hand that was resting on top of that aching bulge of his.
Sukuna slowly lifts his hand up and away, relaxing his arm on the back of the couch again as he stares down at you. Cocking his head to the side, âWell? Feel it.â He huffs.
You donât even hesitate. Trailing your fingers upward carefully until you feel the outline of his cock beneath your fingertips, gulping as you drag your hand up to cup his length in your hand firmly, and smirking at the way his cock twitches furiously beneath your small touch.
Sukunaâs mouth falls open for a second but youâre too engrossed in feeling him to notice. He lets out a shuddered breath as he watches the way you grope his steadily growing erection. His head even tosses back and his fingers dig into the couch for a moment.
âIt is big,â You whisper to yourself, your words only making him twitch more within your hand.
âFuck,â Sukuna grits out lowly, hips unconsciously lifting to press himself further against you.
His curse earns your attention. You quickly glance up to him and see the way heâs got his head tossed back, Adam's apple bobbing with every heavy gulp he takes, and his chest rising and falling rather quickly.
You lift your hand carefully and decide to test something out. Slowly, you lean forward and just barely press your lips against his clothed cock.
Sukunaâs whole body reacts. He gasps louder than he means to and heâs weaving his fingers through your hair faster than he realizes, palming your scalp as he quickly looks down at you. âT-The fuck are you doing? Huh?â He huffs while gripping onto your hair.
You lift your head a bit but he keeps you in place, despite his question to you. âI justâŚâ Youâre not exactly sure you can explain yourself.
And by this point, Sukuna doesnât think he cares enough to hear an excuse from you, ââŚYou what? You wanna see it?â
All you can do is give him a little nod before he moves his free hand to the drawstring of his sweatpants. Then you're quick to help him tug them down until his boxers are revealed to youâ a noticeable dampness in the fabric right where his leaking tip is. Was that because of you?
Before you can dawn on your own questions, Sukunaâs moving to tug his cock out. And fuck is he even bigger revealed before your eyes. With an upward curve, such an angry flushed tip, precum dripping from the slit of his fat cockhead, veins decorating his shaft and-
Shit, you were drooling. Howâd you get like this again?? Ah, who cares?
âSukuna,â You breathe out, ripping your eyes away from his cock just to look up at him.
He was almost panting, dark maroon eyes pouring down into yours, face flushed with different shades of red and pink, his lips parted softlyâ hell, he looked like he was in heat or something.
Gulping before he answers you, Sukuna clears his throat and his voice is already husky, âWhat?â
You shift against the floor, your hands relaxing against his large thighs, âCan I-â
âYeah,â He cuts off. Lord knows if you got that question out he was going to lose his damn mind.
You raise a brow and lean forward, keeping your eyes on his while your lips near his tip, âYeah?â
The last thing you get from him is a nod before youâre parting your lips. And from that moment forward, it all goes downhill. Everything from the way youâre sitting in between his legs to that initial connection of your plush lips against his drooling cock had Sukunaâs mind spinning.
Heâs never been sucked off before. Hell, the farthest heâs gone as far as sexual activities are concerned is a little bit of dry humping. But this? Oh hell, this was his first time and he had zero idea how he was going to keep that information away from you.
Especially when he feels your tongue slip from between your lips and swirl around the head of his cock, kittenly lapping up that slim layer of precum sitting so prettily on his tip.Â
âOh f-fuuck,â Sukuna groans huskily, the hand on your head gripping tighter.
You pull away from him slightly just to take in his expression and the way he tosses his head back. It was almost cute to you. The last thing you expected was for him to be so damn sensitive, you hardly did anything.
His sensitivity only worsens as you finally start wrapping your lips around his cock, feeling him throb when you sink your mouth down on him. Sukunaâs jaw goes slack and his brows twist up. He tries his best to hold it in but he canât help but moan at the way you leisurely suck on half of his lengthy cock.
Your saliva wets up the rest of his shaft and you make up for what your mouth hasnât reached yet with your hand, stroking him lightly whilst you take the rest of his girth in and out of your mouth. Rolling your tongue around him, pulling off just to messily spit and kiss on his blushing tip, and slobbering all over himâ Sukuna almost fucking kicked something with how good your mouth felt around him.
Heâs used his hand and other shit before but holy fuck, nothing, and he means nothing compares to that damn mouth of yours. The way you look with his cock stuffed right in between those lips heâs been staring at for God knows how longâ your lips all slick with spit, eyes rolling back the deeper you take him, and tongue sticking out every time you pull your mouth off of him.
You soon slip your mouth off of him and start jerking him off, focusing your tongue on his tip and slithering the wet muscle in between the slit of his cock, lathering your tongue up with his glistening precum.Â
The sound of Sukuna groaning makes you look up at him, finding his eyes on yours again. Heâs panting, trying his best to look like this wasnât phasing him but failing in every way with how flushed his face was.Â
Your tongue sticks out and your hand continues to slide up and down his cock as you tap his tip on your tongue, making his brows twist up.Â
He bites back a throaty sound, âHah⌠damn brat,â Sukuna huffs out as if to⌠degrade you?Â
You almost find it cute how clearly inexperienced he is, spitting a fat wad of spit onto his pretty wet tip and then smiling at him, âSukuna,â You coo, your hand gripping his shaft tighter, âIs this your first time?â
He instantly looks off to the side, the veins in his neck and along his jawline tensing as he grits his teeth. Since he decides to ignore your little question, you take it a step further and slide your hand down his cock, gripping his thick base firmly before taking him into your heavenly warm mouth again.
His expression breaks completely, âOh shit,â Sukuna moans, his hips bucking up into your mouth as you slide him deeper into your mouth than you did before.
Then his hand is pushing your head down further on instinct and heâs subtly rutting his hips up. You lift your head up despite his constant pushing, soon causing your head to bob up and down whilst you suck him off skillfully.
âJusâ like that,â Sukuna suddenly groans and you moan around his cock in reaction. To which he keeps giving your mouth mindless little thrusts, âDonât s-, agh, stop.â
Sucking him deeper and deeper before you move your hand completely, you suck in a deep breath of air through your nose, open up the very back of your throat, and sink all the way down, your lips meeting his pelvis as your eyes roll to the back of your head.
Sukuna kicks something. Probably your coffee table with the way one of his legs extends out so suddenly, a choked-out groan ripped from his throat as your little move was all it took for him to cum. And itâs so much too, hot thick ropes of cum spurting down your throat, his hand holding onto your head for dear life whilst a moan of your name rolls off his tongue.
Youâre still sucking too, pulling up only to swallow what heâs gifted you and then stick your tongue out. Laying it flat against his tip, you leisurely lick at him as if to beg for more and now the manâs pushing your head away for the first time.
When you lift your eyes up to him again, you notice heâs got his tattooed arm over his mouth and his lashes are batting softly at you. For such a big man, he was so ridiculously cute right now. Panting, sweating, cursing under his breath as if you couldnât hear him.
âYeah,â Sukuna utters suddenly, clearing his throat, âThat was⌠my first⌠time. I uh-â
âDo you want more?â Is the last thing you asked him before you were sitting back on your heels and he was stumbling to his feet.
You had to guide him through it of course but, Sukuna doesnât hesitate to stuff your face full of his cock again. You take him so kindly too, obediently sitting there with your hands gripping his thighs for support with every careful thrust of his hips.
He was trying to be gentle with you at first. Partially because he didnât know what the hell he was doing, and also because he just loved the initial entry into your mouth. Over and over, Sukuna slid his dick in and out of your mouth like he was possessed, addicted to the feeling of you greedily sucking on him.
He was still sensitive from his first orgasm but his cock had yet to go downâ twitching inside that sloppy mouth of yours, aching against your tongue, and dripping into the depths of your throat. Sukuna wasnât much of a talker but he damn sure let out a plethora of grunts and groans.
They were so husk too, coming from deep within his chest, some getting caught in his throat when he felt your tongue flick against a specific vein on the underside of his cock. His fat tip knocked into the back of your throat with a single heavy thrust before his hands were latching onto the sides of your head.
Again, heâs not much of a talker but, something seems to come over him all at once because soon heâs got his gaze locked down on the messy sight of you and heâs huffing out words before he realizes. âEyes up here, câmon, hah⌠look at me,â Sukuna grunts.
Your eyes are completely glossed over as they flutter up to him. A moan vibrates against his skin as you make such intimate eye contact with the man, feeling his hips pick up.
Sukuna nods, âGood girl,â He praises in a low purr, and fuck does that do wonders for you because your legs are squeezing together more than they were before and youâre whining against him. âFuck, yâlike that?â He huffs, earning a sloppy lilâ nod from you.
He then feels you hum, âM-Mhm.â And heâs got chills slipping up his spine in pleasure.
Cracking a lazy, lopsided, and almost fucked-out little smirk, Sukuna scoffs, âYeah? Fuck, behind all those g-glares ând-, agh, scolding me⌠this is all you wanted, hm? A throat full of cock?â
His words had you whining again, fluttering your lashes at him as your fingertips dug into his thighs a little. Sukuna eases his hips back slowly, tipping his head to the side as he gently caresses the side of your face with his thumb.
âMessy girl,â He hums deeply, biting his lower lip at the way youâre just drooling for more and more as he pulls himself out of your mouth completely. âJusâ look at this face,â Sukuna chuckles, âYâlook like a slut cryinâ like thatâ itâs cute.â
Blinking, you hadnât even realized you had a tear or two sliding down your face. Your mouth remains open for a second before he moves to rub his tip against your plump lips, smearing your spit and his cum all over the damn place with a little grin on his face.
ââKunaâŚâ You whisper, earning a quirk of his brow, âI canât believe youâre a virg-â
âDonât finish that sentence,â He grunts, moving a thumb to your chin to widen how open your mouth is for him, âJusâ⌠keep sittinâ there lookinâ pretty fâme,â Sukuna says.
You roll your eyes at him and all he can do is smile, pushing his hips forward again and easing his cock in between your lips. He slides in slowly until you can feel him pressing right against the back of your throat. To which he keeps himself there for a second, testing that gag reflex of yours and watching your eyes water.
Moving his hand back to the top of your head, he buries his fingers in your hair, âSo fuckinâ sexy like this,â Sukuna compliments, feeling you moan in response, âMâgonna cum again, stay j-just like that,â He breathes out heavily, his eyes rolling to the back of his skull before heâs throwing his head back.
And as if to coax his orgasm out, you carefully move a hand to cup his balls, sucking on his cock as best as you can and earning an accidental sound from his throat. The second your palm is felt against him, the moment he feels your tongue slicking against him, Sukuna whines.
Then his thighs are tensing and heâs groaning loudly as if to cover up the sound that just left his lips, filling your throat with his seed and then tugging your mouth off of him with a quick pull of your head. Youâre quick to swallow for yet a second time, letting out a needed cough after the fact while he stumbles back just a bit, his calves hitting the couch.
âVixen,â Sukuna growls.
You clear your throat and send a smile his way, âNot my fault you cum easy.â
Sukunaâs slow to sit back down on the couch to catch his breath, âTell anyone about this ând Iâll-â
âOh,â You suddenly purr, cutting him off as you lift yourself up from the ground. He watches with slightly widened eyes as you move to straddle him, âDonât tell me you thought we were done?â
Heâs at a loss for words all over again, his confidence suddenly getting caught in his throat and flying out the window. Your hands slip to his broad shoulders and you lean forward a little.
Sukunaâs hands shakily find their way to your waist as he stares up at you, âYou want more?â
You smirk, tilting your head at the dumbfounded male, âDonât you?â You ask in a sultry little whisper, making his sensitive cock twitch once more. âAt the very leastâŚâ Your lips slowly near his and heâs losing his breath, âTaste yourself, Sukuna.â
And then your lips are on his and heâs taking your tongue into his mouth. His grip on your waist tightens before he pulls you flush against him, feeling your crotch press right against his cock thatâs steadily twitching back to life.
The two of you share a heated and messy kiss, your hips carefully swaying against him to encourage his returning arousal. You canât really use curiosity as an excuse anymore, can you?
Well, you can. And you do with the way your hands slide down to his chest, your fingers slipping over his nipples to find exactly what youâd been curious about. You flick your fingers over his piercing there and Sukuna lets out a low hiss, prying his lips from yours and sending you a glare.
Not only did that little move of yours make his cock spring up completely but, you also notice the frown on his face.
Smiling at him, âSukunaâŚâ
âDonât.â He huffs.
âYou have nipple piercings?â You end up asking anyway in a happy little tone.
He grits his teeth slightly, ââŚObviously.â
Chuckling, you press a soft peck against his lips and whisper, âCan I see them?â
âNo.â He replies.
