Any Legoriel fanfics recommendations?
Cause I’ve realised it’s been like 10 years since Hobbit was released and I still haven’t gotten over the fact Legolas and Tauriel didn’t end up together on screen.
I’ve heard that this plot-line was changed somehow during the production so it all adds up.

evangeline lily always said they shot the love triangle during the reshoots and she had a love story only with one boy before production pushed PJ to have the love triangle Tauriel/Legolas/Kili. And i always had the weird sensation that the OG was Legolas.
But i dont know, does somebody know, like if you tak Tauriel away from Kili scenes the movie still works and to be honest it would have worked even better (u know the wound only being a normal wound, Kili dying next to Fili, no cringy lines, Tauriel wanting to save dwarves only because she cares for others and not because she is in love).Taking away her scenes with Kili would be doable, but if you take her away from legolas plotline it would start to become so messy and weird.LIke for example: why Legolas would be in Laketown, and then outside Erebor, and then in Gundabad, and then just leave forever Mirkwood crying and hearthbroken. It would even explain why Tauriel was kinda sad when Thranduil said to her that she couldnt marry Legolas and also why she expected him to follow her without sound like a little bit of a bitch like “yeah i know you like me, but i like the dwarf, but i knew your in-love sexy ass would follow me and you would be my doormat risking to die because i want to hookup with the other short guy”. Maybe in the original plotline she even died giving her a tragic ending also, because she wanted to protect middle earth and then dies to do so,and also would explain the whole “your mother loved you stuff.” IDK! please i need answers, does somebody know?
btw, Dean O’Gorman red in his audition a script where he says that he will avenge his bother death basically, but it could also be an early or even invented part, made up just for the audition you know.
