Intelligence is not defined by your level of knowledge. You are not stupid for asking simple questions, there is no harm in asking questions. There's a reason learning skills are evaluated in school, and that is because a willingness to learn and improve is what truly shows intelligence. And this even applies if you think you already know, but you're wrong. You'll look much smarter if you listen and improve than if you double down.
If you don't know something, ask. Voids of knowledge only exist to be filled. Even if the answer may be super simple or just flew over your head, at least you know.
Ask anyone. If you're not comfortable asking a question in-person, go to a forum, message an online friend, ask in a Discord channel. If it's a concrete enough question, try searching it up. Whatever level of anonymity, wherever you go, as long as you are seeking knowledge, you are smart.

this might age me a bit, but i don't care. I hate schooling, I hate the whole way later high school is conveyed. the third and fourth year of high school should rely less on the parents checking in or really knowing how good a kid is doing in school. By the third year of high school a kid is 16/17. They will be old enough to move out, drive a car. but they aren't old enough to be in charge of their own schoolwork.
That isn't my only gripe with the school system, Edgenuity (an online schooling system), is making their p[programs have unskippable videos to "instruct students on their work". When a student is behind in this case, it becomes IMPOSSIBLE to catch up. I was someone who in their second year became so behind that some classes said ELEVEN HOURS per class. And I had eight classes that year. Six on the low side. I hope in the future of online learning kids will be able to skip videos if they know what they are doing. It is insane to make someone who is dreadfully behind to watch three hours worth of videos a day in order to catch up after being sick, busy, and burned out. TL:DR "I hate everything about the current schooling system. Also screw online schools they suck too"
Learned this the hardest way possible in the past two years. Itās okay to let go of people who donāt support your growth.

So I just saw a tik tok about this and I agree a 100%. I know we all laugh and joke about the "am I gay?" quiz Nick takes but what stood out for me about that scene was the fact that Nick was crying, not because he might be gay but because of all the articles he saw.
Finding out you're queer and it being immediately followed by articles about conversion therapy, suicide rates amongst queer youth and hate crimes is so overwhelming in so many levels.
He realized what is unfortunately linked to the queer experience and I believe he also got a better understanding of what Charlie had gone through.
This scene was so impactful for me and I was sobbing because of the sad reality of what being queer involves.

food for thought but if you primarily consume media that originates from a specific country and all the original publications of the said media is in the mother tongue of the country, then the only way to truly, deeply, insanely, consume that media is to learn the language it is published in. Because youāll find yourself consumed by this media and often some of the most intimate, life changing details get lost in translation from one language to another. For example, the last mha chapter, Bakugou saying ākoiā and the deep analysis into the subtle, intimate undertones of that word alone truly changed everything about that last panel. It made it so much more, jarring. Similarly with danmei novels, so much gets lost in the translation. To truly understand the depth of your favourite media, consider learning the language itself, because it is such a fulfilling experience to be able to understand what the author or creator was truly trying to express without being barricaded by the translations.
