So, I'm playing Dragon Ball: Kakarot, and I have to say, when you bring back villains, you get the best alternative story I've seen.

Nappa? He agrees to train Gohan.

Dodoria and Zarbon? They accept Gohan's strength and swear to not hurt innocents again.

The Ginyu Force? They enlist Gohan in the Ginyu Force, offering to train him in the art of posing!

King Cold? Yes, THAT King Cold who raised Frieza, accepts him into the family. That's right; in King Cold's eyes, Gohan and Frieza ARE BROTHERS!

It's absurd, but... I can't help but love this!
