Someone in the TGW Fan Facebook group made a poll asking who Alicia should be with and apparently didn't like it when I added the option "Magic Wand Rechargeable" to the existing list of all her canonical male love interests. So I decided to push it a little and added "Kalinda Sharma" once my original option had been deleted. I'm sorry, but none of the male love interests on the show worked out for her and there are reasons why! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

the thing about shipping on tgw is that no alicia ship has ever been capital-R Romantic. will and alicia’s relationship was about memory and nostalgia and lives-that-could-have-been-lived as a vehicle for different selves-that-could-have-been—it was never about two people in love. peter and alicia’s relationship has always been about the power of the public eye and the ways they could help each other by harnessing that. right now finn’s will’s ghost and johnny elfman is alicia’s bulldog. nothing’s destined for permanence, nothing’s going to end with another wedding ring on her finger. if any of those men makes it to the end of next season color me mildly surprised.
