Amor

Amor

Genre: Hogwarts AU, Head Boy!Jin x Head Girl!Reader, Hufflepuff!Jin, Fluff, slight Unrequited AU (although not really)

Pairing: Seokjin/Reader

Warning: falling into water

Synopsis: Students are always trying to slip love potions to the alluring Head Boy. One night in the head’s office, you and Seokjin come across Amortentia.

"This is the second time this week I've confiscated love potions people were trying to slip you," you said, emptying your pockets and clanging the glass bottles, assorted baked goods, and candies on the Head Student's desk that you and Jin shared.

"Who was it this time?" Jin asked, a smirk breaking out across his face as he examined the various love concoctions.

"A couple Hufflepuff first years, Val Bitterwood from Gryffindor, and Lando Locket from Ravenclaw. Are you sure you don't have love potions on them? I don't see how it's possible that the entirety of Hogwarts is in love with you."

"My face is a love potion," Jin said, presenting his face towards you as if he were a trophy. "And, not everyone is in love with me." He nudged your shoulder with his own. "You're not in love with me."

You laughed, hoping he wouldn't notice the way you looked back down at the potions, your eyes catching the mother of pearl sheen coming off one of the bottled potions.

"Hey, I think this is Amortentia," you said, holding it up. "Wanna see what we smell?"

The Hufflepuff Head Boy nodded and took the bottle from you and uncapped it. He brought it to his nose and his brow furrowed as he attempted to identify the smells.

"Chicken," he said, and you laughed. Of course, Jin would smell chicken. "Pine, and uh, strawberries."

﹥━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━﹤

Chaperoning the Hogsmeade trip meant that you and Jin only had twenty minutes to enjoy the pleasure of the small village. Jin practically dragged you to Honeydukes where the cases of candy and confections were nearly empty.

"A cauldron cake and a strawberry tart," you said.

"We don't have cauldron cakes left," the woman behind the counter said.

"Ah, okay," you said, looking around the store, but couldn't find anything left that you cared for. You were too old for Chocolate Frogs and you'd been turned off Every Flavor Beans since you'd gotten a snot flavored one. "Just make it two strawberry tarts then."

"Don't you hate strawberries?" Seokjin asked as the two of you walked back to Hogwarts.

"Yeah," you said. "That's why both of them are for you."

Seokjin stopped. "You didn't get yourself something?"

"There was nothing left I wanted."

"Let's run back and find something you like. I feel bad."

You sighed. "Jin, we're already going to be late, come on, it's fine."

"I'll buy you a cauldron cake first thing next time."

"Jin, really, don't worry about it. Don't you get gifts from your admirers practically every week? Just consider it that."

"No, I can't."

"Why?"

"Cause it's you."

﹥━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━﹤

"My turn," you said, grabbing the bottle from Jin's hands. Your fingers brushed his, but you didn't notice as you could already smell the potion. "Cauldron cakes..."

"Of course," Jin said, rolling his eyes.

"Leather, and water from the Lake."

﹥━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━﹤

It was sprinkling lightly that night. You didn't mind so much as you cast a charm to keep yourself dry. It was almost 1 a.m. You'd finished your rounds an hour before, but you couldn't sleep, so you'd made your way down Gryffindor Tower and to the lakeshore.

Most people didn't dare get too close to the inky black lake--afraid of the Giant Squid or the grindylows--but you found the black water oddly comforting as you were able to just barely make out the hills beyond the lake and Quidditch grounds a little further down from where you currently stood.

The best part of being Head Girl was knowing how to not get caught wandering around the castle at night. Often all it took was a small concealment charm to get past Filch and Jin normally went to bed as soon as rounds were over. Very rarely did other Professors roam the halls, and even if they did, you were Head Girl. It would be easy enough to get out of.

But, on this particular night, the rain and the chilly breeze captivated you, so that you didn't see the Jelly Legs Jinx headed your way. When it hit you, you could barely keep your balance on the shore and found yourself toppling face first into the lake.

You heard something outside of the water, but because of the cold water filling your ears, you couldn't make out what it was. You fiddled for your wand in the water, but water filled your lungs and you couldn't find a grip.

Warm hands gripped your shoulders and you sputtered out water as you realized you could breathe once again.

"Y/N," he said. "Are you okay? I was just trying to play a joke. I didn't think you'd fall in."

You opened your eyes and found the Head Boy looking down at you. His arm was firmly around your shoulders and his dark eyes were searching your face.

"I'm fine," you said. "Just cold. And, is it too much for you to dry me off?"

Jin took out his wand and dried you off and removed his arm from around your shoulders. You found yourself still shivering as you entered the castle.

﹥━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━﹤

1 week later

"Did you hear about, Y/N?" a particularly gossipy Gryffindor asked their desk mate. The other girl shook her head. "Apparently, she accidentally ate some Crossed Lover's Confections met for Seokjin. But, they were old, so they'd turned into Cursed Lover's Confections. She was coughing up petals in the Great Hall earlier."

"What?" the other girl asked. "Does anyone know who it is?"

The Gryffindor shook her head. "Since it happened in the Great Hall it could've been anyone in there. She hasn't been seen since. I think she's hiding out in the Head's Office."

Jin left the classroom without a word and despite being admired by nearly everyone at Hogwarts, he slipped out without anyone noticing. He made his way up to the Head's Office and listened for a moment. He could hear your sniffling behind the door and gripped the handle and pulled open the door.

You turned around your eyes wide and red with tears. "Oh, Ji--" you were interrupted by a cough of light pink petals. You tried to conceal them, but it didn't matter. It was already obvious.

"Y/N, let's go to the Hospital Wing."

Jin wrapped his arm around you as you doubled over as more petals forced their way up your throat. He practically carried you to the Hospital Wing, your feet just barely dragging on the ground, and not really helping him. You wished you could take some of the weight off, but just as it felt like the coughing stopped and you could handle your own weight, you'd feel Jin's fingertips pressing against the fabric of your robes or you'd hear his rushed pants as he hurried along the corridors, and the petals would choke you once again.

﹥━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━﹤

Madam Pomfrey gave you the antidote which was cool on your throat and the petals almost immediately stopped. Jin sat beside you on the bed, his dark eyes looked like they did that night at the lake: worried and deep as the lake itself.

"Give it about twenty minutes and then I'll give you a Pepper Up Potion to get through the rest of the day."

You nodded and gripped the edge of the bed as Madam Pomfrey went towards the back of the Ward and into her office.

"Thanks," you said. "And, I'm sorry, I never intended for you to find out. Obviously, I know it's unrequited, so you don't need to say anything. I know everyone here loves you. I'm only one in a long list."

The two of you sat in silence for a few moments before you felt Jin grab one of your hands from your lap and cradle it between both of his. "You don't know how Cursed Lover's Confections work do you?"

"It makes you cough up flowers in front of the person you love if the love is unrequited," you said, not meeting his gaze.

"It also works if you think the love is unrequited."

"Wait, what do you mean?"

"I think it's time I buy you that cauldron cake."

Fish Cakes

Fish Cakes

Genre: Established Relationship AU, Fluff

Pairing: Jin/Reader

Warnings: none

Synopsis: Jin warned you not to mess with the sugar gliders while he is gone. You and Jungkook decide to disobey him. You come to regret this when one of them escapes.

﹥━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━﹤

"You named them after fish cakes?" you asked, laughing. It didn't surprise you. Your boyfriend, Kim Seokjin, was known for his love of food.

"I don't know, it just fit," he said, shrugging as he pulled the car into the driveway of the apartment he shared with the rest of his band members.

"It's cute," you said. "I can't wait to meet them."

"Well, unfortunately, it will have to wait until I get back from the studio. They need me to re-record some vocals and I won't be back until tonight. Sugar gliders are nocturnal anyway."

You frowned a bit, upset your boyfriend couldn't spend more time with you, but understanding. You were friends with the other members and trusted you wouldn't be bored until he got back.

"The sugar gliders are still adjusting so don't bother them until I get back," he said. "I know you wouldn't do anything purposely, but they are very sensitive."

"Jin," you said. "I won't hurt them, I promise."

He smiled and kissed you from the driver's seat. When you pulled away, he closed the door and drove back down the driveway towards the studio.

﹥━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━﹤

"Jungkook!"

The boy smiled mischievously as he beat you on Mario Kart for the third time. You put the controller down, done playing.

Jungkook set his down too, slightly disappointed you were done.

"Have you met the sugar gliders yet?" you asked.

"Yes! They are so cute. Jin hasn't showed them to you yet?"

You shook your head. "He was going to today, but he had to record some vocals at the studio. He said he will tonight."

"I'll show them to you!" Jungkook said, a proud smile crossing his face. "I help Jin feed them. I'll make sure you handle them properly."

"Jin told me not mess with them until he's back," you said, slightly hesitant, however, the offer was extremely tempting.

"Nothing will happen," Jungkook said. "They're sleeping right now anyway."

"All right," you said.

﹥━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━﹤

The two of you entered Jin and Yoongi's room where the sugar gliders were housed. You and Jungkook approached the cage carefully, making sure not to disturb them too much.

Jungkook carefully opened the door. As he'd promised, the two gliders were sleeping inside the cage, hardly aware of your presence.

"They're so cute!"

Jungkook smiled. He reached into the cage and scooped up one of the sleeping gliders, the little marsupial opened his eyes and immediately began to climb into Kookie's sleeve.

"Ah," he said, laughing slightly, as he attempted retrieve the cheeky glider. "They're quick."

You helped Kookie roll up his sleeve, eventually revealing the glider looking back at you with its large black eyes. You couldn't help but feel your heart melt slightly.

"Let's put it back. I don't want to risk anything happening."

Jungkook nodded and grasped the the glider gently and set back in the cage, closing the door.

"Wait, Kookie, weren't there two of them?"

"Yeah, you have to get two of them because they get really sad without a companion."

"Jungkook, that's not what I meant," you said, pointing down to the cage. The other sugar glider was gone.

﹥━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━﹤

Your stomach turned as you heard Jin's car pull into the driveway. You and the boys had pulled apart the apartment in search of the missing glider, but to no avail. You felt tears threatening to fall already at the thought of having to tell your boyfriend.

When Jin walked into the mess of an apartment and your tears already falling he knew something was wrong.

"Jin, I'm sorry. Me and Kookie, we went to see the gliders, and one of them escaped, and..." You were full on sobbing at this point, your words masked.

You felt him walk past you, only just glancing the redness that'd made its way to his face.

﹥━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━﹤

You and Jin spent another hour tearing his room and the more accessible parts of the apartment apart. You tried to contain your tears, but found it hard. Jin barely looked at you as he tore up the room.

You were surprised he hadn't broken up with you immediately. Jin wasn't a demanding boyfriend, he never told you what to do, but the one time it mattered, you didn't listen.

There was no use in apologizing more than you did. You simply continued to look, the hope of finding the glider safe was beginning to leave you.

﹥━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━﹤

You and Jin were just about to give up for the night--hoping the glider hadn't gotten anywhere too dangerous--and resume the search in the morning; when Yoongi walked in the door cradling one of his sweatshirts in his hand.

"I found him," he said. "He must've clung onto it at some point when I came back for it while I was working."

The glider was sleeping soundly in the hood of Yoongi's sweatshirt. You felt relief flood your body as looked down at the little form.

"Odengie!" Jin exclaimed, scooping up the glider.

He stroked the glider before carefully placing it back in its cage with its companion who greeted its friend happily.

﹥━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━﹤

"I really am sorry," you said. "I should've listened to you."

"Ah, it's okay, babe, everything turned out all right."

Jin pulled you into his chest and lightly kissed your forehead.

"Now, come on, let's go watch a movie. I brought home some fish cakes."

Delivery

Delivery

Genre: Fluff

Pairing: Jin/Reader

Warnings: none

Synopsis: You don’t know who you’re delivering to when you pull up to the huge house. And somehow you manage to become Kim Seokjin’s favorite delivery person.

﹥━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━﹤

You weren't sure you had the right address. You were standing just outside the gates of one of the most expensive apartments in all of Seoul.

You reached down and rang the security buzzer and heard a gruff voice ask you for your name and your business.

You politely responded with your name and explained you were delivering food. After a few seconds, the gate opened and you drove through. You were wowed by the luxurious surroundings. You caught sight of a pool around to the side and you began to wonder who exactly this costumer was. The apartment also provided a beautiful view of the city, one which if you weren't working, would've taken more time to admire.

You walked to the front door and rang the doorbell, hearing it echo inside. After a few moments, the door opened and you nearly dropped the delivery.

"Jin!" You exclaimed, surprised to see a member of your favorite band in front of you. You immediately apologized at your informality and impoliteness.

"No, it's fine," he said. "I always think they should warn you before hand. At least you didn't drop the food."

"Filming an EatJin?" you asked, hoping the question wasn't an invasion of privacy.

"Yes!" he said. "You should watch later. Once you're off work, of course."

"I will. Thank you, sir."

"Jin, please," he said. "And your name?"

You gave him your name and felt your stomach flip when he repeated it back to you.

"Thank you, Jin," you said. "I look forward to watching later." You bowed and turned to leave.

"Wait! I know you don't normally accept tips, but please take this for your troubles."

You took the tip and bowed again. You hoped to hide your red face from the contact of your fingertips brushing his.

﹥━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━﹤

After work you settled down with your dinner and went to watch the EatJin he uploaded earlier.

"Mmmmm, this is really good," he said. "I got chicken and rice, and some soup on the side."

"You sure it doesn't taste better cause of the cute delivery girl?" Jungkook said, off camera.

Jin's face grew red and he hit Jungkook off camera, but all you heard were the maknae's giggles.

"She said she was going to watch this!"

Jungkook suddenly appeared on camera, his face red from laughter and a smile plastered across his face.

"Hi, cute delivery girl! Jin really liked you!"

"All right, that's enough," Jin said, pushing his annoying maknae out of the frame.

"I apologize for him. He's been overexcited today."

The EatJin continued as normal, but you couldn't hide the blush that erupted on your own cheeks.

﹥━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━﹤

You'd gotten used to the routine by now. You and the security guard now greeted each other in a friendly manner and he often unlocked the gate once he saw your car pull up.

"Jin," you called, while obnoxiously ringing the doorbell.

He eventually answered and took the two large bags from your hands.

"Thank you, Y/N," he said. "Please come in."

Jin had starting scheduling his orders so that it was your last delivery of the day, allowing you to make a deal with your manager to go home straight after the delivery. This let you spend time with Jin and the rest of the members, something you had come to look forward to after your long shifts.

"So, what's the plan tonight?" you asked, opening up one the delivery box you knew was yours.

"Movies," he said, doing the same with his box. The rest of the boys had yet to come down.

﹥━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━﹤

Somehow all eight of you managed to squeeze onto one couch and the floor in front of it. You were at end next to Jin with Jimin sitting beside your legs.

"Noona, you have to stay awake this time," Jimin teased, referencing how you tended to fall asleep whenever you watched a movie with them. "There's a good twist at the end!"

You smiled. You never meant to fall asleep, but you'd been working long hours and you found yourself dozing off half way through.

﹥━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━﹤

Halfway through, like normal, you fell asleep. The movie had actually been interesting, but after hours of driving around Seoul, it caught up with you.

"Honestly, it's like having a second Yoongi around," Jimin said, laughing.

"I'm not asleep," Yoongi said.

"But you usually are."

"Come on, let her sleep," Jin said. "She gets tired after her deliveries."

﹥━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━﹤

You woke up the next morning. You were still on the couch, but someone had thrown a blanket over you and placed a pillow beneath your head. Although you smiled when you noticed the pillow smelled like Jin, but a different smell began to overwhelm you.

You sat up and followed the smell to the kitchen.

"Jin?" you asked, seeing him at the stove.

"Good morning, Y/N," he said.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm making you breakfast. You always brought me food, it's my turn to pay you back."

You smiled and kissed him on the cheek playfully.

"Thank you, Jin."

How each BTS member will give a gift to their crush (Female reader)...

Note: This is totally fictional. This is to show how I personally perceive each BTS member and think how they will act in this specific situation.

1. Jungkook:

image

Jungkook was waving at me as I walked towards the shopping mall.

I wanted to buy myself something because I finally graduated from the college I was desperately wanting to leave. And I accidentally told that to Jungkook. He insisted on coming with me saying it didn’t look nice, my coming alone for such an occasion. I told him it wasn’t a big deal. But he would do whatever he wanted to and sometimes what his Hobi hyung requested him to do.

“You are late as always.” Jungkook pretended to look annoyed. I smiled and took his hand as we went inside.

The shop we went to was way too expensive than I anticipated. But the clothes were so damn good. I desperately searched for something that I could afford.

Seeing me struggling to choose, Jungkook brought a beautiful black and white top with a high-waist pant and showed it to me. The set was so beautiful that an automatic ‘wow’ reaction came to my face in an instant.

“So you like it?” Jungkook gave me a wide smile, “put it on.”

I shook my head and tried to explain to him. But he didn’t even listen to what I was saying. He simply pushed me toward the changing room. Once inside, I checked the price. NO WAY!

But I still put it on just to see myself in the mirror. I never felt more beautiful. In fact, I looked gorgeous. Jungkook really knew what looks good on me. I smiled at myself.

I came out of the changing room in my regular clothes. Jungkook looked confused, “What happened? Didn’t it fit well?”

“It fitted perfectly. But I can’t buy it. Not today. Let’s go somewhere else.” I said it straightforward without giving him a chance to speak. Jungkook was frowning. I putted the set back at their place and walked out of the shop.

“Thank you, anyway, Jungkook.” I said, “your choices...” I trailed off as I looked behind only to found that Jungkook wasn’t there.

I was a little confused for a while. Then I saw him coming out of the shop carrying a shopping bag with the same old wide smile on his face.

“You didn’t, did you?” I glared at him.

“Why?” he asked as if he had known nothing.

“Jeon Jungkook, what the hell?” I shouted at him.

His smile was gone. He was looking at me with his big doe eyes. After a moment of silence, he said, “You know, my eomma always says that if you get out of a shop without buying something you desperately wanted, it’s bad luck.”

I laughed out at this. “Seriously, Kookie? You don’t have to lie like that to emotionally blackmail me into accepting that.”

His big wide smile returned as he handed me the shopping bag.

2. Taehyung (V):

image

I was just about to go to bed when my phone dinged with a notification. It was Taehyung. My immediate thought was something might be wrong. Taehyung always texted me whenever he was upset since we were really good friends and I was a good listener.

“Are you awake?” his text read. Before I could write anything back he again texted, “Since you’ve seen my text, you’re awake.”

“What happened? Is everything okay?” I texted him back.

Taehyung was typing while I waited anxiously. Finally he wrote, “Don’t worry about me. I’m outside your house. Please come down.” followed by a smiling emoji.

“This alien!” I thought. Though I liked him a lot, he could get really annoying at times. The temperature was really low outside. I wondered what he was planning at this hour of night.

I was still thinking whether I should go or not when he texted me again. “Aren’t you coming?”

I knew I had to go. Otherwise his feelings would be hurt. He would be going away for tour tomorrow. I wouldn’t be able to meet him any time soon. Not even this Christmas.

I put on a sweater and headed outside. Taehyung was smiling at me. The smile that always warmed my heart whenever I was having a bad day. I could see he was shivering from the cold. So, I asked him to come inside.

He replied with a “No” and then immediately added, “I brought you your Christmas gift since I won’t be able to give it to you on Christmas day.” He showed me the box he was carrying. I hadn’t noticed it earlier.

“You could have simply send it by someone. You didn’t need to come here at this weather.”

“But I’m going away. The flight’s at dawn.” he said in a rather sad voice.

“Whatever” I still couldn’t agree with him, standing there in cold, shivering from my head to toe.

Taehyung gave me a wicked smile and said, “You’ll regret saying that, you know? Because I am taking THIS back.” He pulled out a pair of converse from the box.

“NO WAY!” I shouted in excitement, “They are for me?”

“They WERE.” he said mockingly, “since you don’t need them...” he turned to go back. But I hold his hand, “Oh, Tae-Tae, I’m sorry.”

He turned back with his box smile on his face. I hugged him in excitement, “Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

3. Jimin:

“It’s been a while since we last met.” Jimin said while stirring his coffee.

“Now that you’ve mentioned it, that’s right. I was quite busy with my school works lately. I haven’t met any of my friends since God knows when.” I finished with a heavy sigh.

Jimin smiled softly, “Thank you, y/n, for having a coffee with me.”

“Don’t need none of it.” I said casually, “So, tell me, how’s things going on with you? You’re probably the busiest person I know.”

Jimin gave a little laugh, “you just said it yourself. But...” he stopped.

“But?” I urged him to continue.

“I’ve missed you, that’s all.”

I wasn’t expecting that. It sounded a little too straightforward to tell a friend you meet once in a while. I mean, Jimin was quite a friendly guy. It was always easier to talk to him no matter how long we’ve been out of touch. But him telling me that I was someone he had missed sounded like something I’m not used to.

“Oh!” I said rather awkwardly.

Jimin pulled his chair closer and said, “Will you do me a favor, y/n?”

“Depends?” I was confused.

“Close your eyes”, Jimin commanded. “Please!” he added.

I had my doubts what he was doing. But I still closed my eyes for just a second. The next moment I opened them and said, “it looks so stupid.”

“Please, y/n, just do it. For me?” he further requested, pouting his lips.

This time I really closed my eyes. I could feel his hands reaching out to catch mine. My body shivered a little at his touch. Something very smooth was pushed through one of my hands.

“Done!”

I opened my eyes only to found that a cute little scrunchie with a long bow was hanging by my hand.

“That’s so cute, Jiminie!” I said with a smile. “Thank you!”

In return, he smiled and got back to his drink.

4. Hoseok (J Hope):

I was crushed by the amount of assignments I was due this week. I planned on an all-nighter to compete those. After some hours, I started to doze off in the library. My phone ranged and I woke up with a jerk, causing my coffee to fall on the ground.

“Shit!” I swore and picked up the phone, “Mom, I’m coming home late today. Don’t wait for me.” My mom asked me if I had dinner and I lied that I already had. Then she hung up.

I went to get another cup of coffee from the nearby café. When I came back, there was a meal kept on my place. It was third time this week. Someone is putting snacks for me whenever I’m at school.

I looked around to find it’s owner. But there was no one around. I set down and noticed a note attached to it.

“Don’t miss your dinner no matter how busy you are.”

Who was doing this? Was there anyone stalking me? My friend found it really cute that someone out there was buying me snacks and looking after me. To be honest, I found the attention amusing too. But this was getting out of hand. I desperately wanted to know who it was.

As I was really hungry and didn’t want to waste the meal, I opened it. There was a hamburger and sprite, my favourite. I smiled to myself and had them.

The next day, I found a box of cookies on the seat where I usually sit. My friend chuckled and said, “Here we go again. This person is really crushing on you so bad.”

“But this will do.” I said, “from now on, I’m not accepting anything unless I know who they are from.”

As I was about to raise from my seat the person sitting in front of me looked back and asked, “What are you gonna do with it?”

“I’m gonna throw it away.” I replied.

“But I thought you said you will accept them once you know who they are from.”

“Huh?” I was confused.

“Allow me to introduce myself” the person rose from his seat and stretched his hand toward me, “I’m Jung Hoseok.”

5. Namjoon (RM):

image

I was rubbing my face furiously removing the angry tears that was running down my cheeks. My stupid boyfriend, EX-boyfriend actually, broke up with me saying that I was a self centered bitch. Namjoon set beside me on the park bench and offered me the chocolate milkshake that he brought with him.

Since I was super upset I had called Namjoon to come earlier. I didn’t know why I did that exactly. But Namjoon was someone who would not judge me and support me unconditionally unlike my other friends.

I still refused to take the milkshake. Namjoon nodded and set there silently, waiting for me to break the silence first.

“Do you know, what he said?” I turned to Namjoon.

“It doesn’t matter as long as you don’t believe it yourself.” Namjoon said it as if it was the easiest thing to do. I knew what he was trying to do. He was trying to make me feel like it wasn’t my fault. He was trying to cheer me up in his own ways.

“I feel like I’m going to burst.” I said wiping my tears again.

“How about you break something?” Namjoon offers, “Maybe you’ll be at peace afterwards.”

I chuckled at this, “So, that’s why you keep breaking things?” Namjoon laughed shaking his head.

Suddenly something popped inside my mind. I went straight to my car and brought my diary with me. Namjoon looked confused, “Are you going to write on that?”

“Nope” I said, “I’m gonna burn it down to ashes.” And then I really did. I tore the pages one by one and put them on fire. The process was slow, but Namjoon waited and watched patiently. As I did it, the memories of my writing on my diary just how much I was in love with that little piece of shit, came back to me.

As soon as I was done destroying my favourite thing on earth, I broke down. I started to sob violently. Namjoon hugged me gently and stroked my hair. “It’s going to be okay, y/n. I’m always here for you.”

The next day, I woke up late. As soon as I went to the table for breakfast or lunch, whatever it was, my mom said, “Honey, you’re awake? One of your friends came this morning. He asked me not to wake you up and gave you this.” She handed me something wrapped in a gift like manner.

I went to my room and closed the door. I opened it up and found a cute ‘Koya’ diary inside. The note read, “Try writing about the reasons why you should love yourself instead. This might help.”

6. Yoongi (Suga):

image

During my free time, I usually went to the library since I was a huge book nerd. I dreamt of having my own little library though I couldn’t buy books very often. So, the nearby library was my only option.

I was heading for the library when I met Suga on my way, “Oppa! What are you doing here?”

“I came back from the bookstore.” he held up the book he bought from the nearby bookstore. It was ‘The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy’ by Douglas Adams, one of the science fiction books I was dying to read.

“As far as I know, that book is not available in the library or the bookstore.” I said as a matter of fact.

“Really?” Suga looked startled, “Maybe you didn’t notice it, that’s all.”

“No!” I argued, “I specifically asked the owner about it and he said so himself.”

“Why would you specifically ask about this one?” he held up the book again.

I shrugged my shoulders, “Isn’t it obvious?”

“Oh yeah!” Suga nodded, “You told me about buying it online once.”

“Since it’s in the store, I’ll go take a look.” I was about to go when Suga stepped in front of me.

“You don’t have to.” He insisted, “take this one. I already regret buying it.”

“Why do you regret it already?”

“You know, y/n?” he showed clear sign of annoyance, “you talk unnecessarily too much.” He handed me the book and said, “I have to go now. Unlike you, I’m a very busy person.” And he was gone.

I was a little pissed at him for acting that way. I still went to the bookstore and found the owner. I showed him the book and asked if it was being bought from his store. He shook his head and told me they didn’t have that book yet.

7. Jin:

image

“Yay!” I shouted with joy as I won the round of monopoly against Jin.

“How could I not see that coming!” Jin made a surprised face.

“Now, remember? What the deal was?” I reminded him about the deal we made earlier that whoever won would get to ask for something from the other.

“Anyeo!” Jin shook his head furiously, “Let me process this whole situation at first.”

I could hear Jungkook shouting from the couch, “Jin Hyung is messing with you. He won’t accept any defeat and you won’t get any reward as well.”

I would not let that happen. This was my first time winning any game against Jin. I would make sure Jin remembered it for the rest of his life.

“Mr. Kim Seokjin, accept your already pitiable defeat without embarrassing yourself any further.” I commanded.

“Alright, alright!” Jin finally gave up, “What do you want from me?”

“Let me think,” I said, “how about…”

“Don’t say anything,” Jin stopped me, “I have just the thing for you.”

I argued, “But you’re not supposed to choose the reward for me.”

Jin got up and went to his room without paying any heed to me. After a while, he came back with a box wrapped with some printed paper. He handed it to me and said, “Open it when you go home.”

“Alright!” he shouted at others, “everyone, come at once if you want to play another round of monopoly.”

As soon as I got home, I opened the wrapping paper and found what’s inside. It was a whole set of different kinds of colors, pens, stickers and notebooks. With them there was a note, “Good luck”.

Last week, I got accepted into the fashion school I was wishing to get into my whole life. When I told it to Jin, he didn’t even give any reaction to that other than just a “Good for you!”

But Jin had already prepared the gift beforehand. Now I knew why he had offered me to play a game with him. He really had his ways of doing things.

What’s Cookin’ Good Lookin’?- Jin Oneshot

Whats Cookin Good Lookin?- Jin Oneshot

Gif not mine

Prompt(s):

1. “Just let me do it!”

2. “I think I’m falling for you.”

3. “Sorry, won’t happen again.”

Pairing(s): Jin x Reader

Genre(s): Fluff

Summary: Fluffy little drabble where Y/N wants to make breakfast for Jin for once, but it turns out harder than she expected, especially to be quiet, and suddenly she’s teetering on the edge of the counter trying to reach the flour and Jin walks in to a disaster.

Warning(s): None

Word Count: 1.6K

It was one thing trying to surprise Jin with anything at all considering how innately in tune he is with how you think and work. It was a completely confounding task on a completely different spectrum trying to surprise Jin with any sort of meal.

Seokjin, for as long as you’ve known him, has always had a knack for the culinary arts, despite his childish and somewhat clumsy nature. With this natural ability, comes his insufferable point to always make food: breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, for you and refusal to let you anywhere near the kitchen when it comes to cooking.

On rare occasions, most of which being while he is away on tour or trips, you get the opportunity to test yourself despite the lack of practice due to your overbearing yet sweet boyfriend. Most of your solo escapades in the kitchen consist of baking simple sweets to take to the group when they get back, and while you know they aren’t even on the same level as some of Jin’s heavenly creations, all of the boys at least have the decency to amp up the theatrics when you eagerly await their review.

Except Jin, of course, who insists that the truth is better than any sugar coating he could provide, and with his honesty, sometimes comes frustration that you’ll never be able to impress him in a way that’s meaningful to him.

Which brings us back to this very moment. Jin arrived late last night after working hard for the past week. He was obviously incredibly exhausted and rightfully so, climbing into bed with you at 1 a.m., wrapping his arms securely around your waist as he snuggled his face into your shoulder. Within seconds he was out cold while you fought the urge to turn around, wake him, and ask him how everything had went. For now, you’d let him rest, and that’s when the idea struck.

By 8 a.m. he was still entirely knocked out, arms wrapped around your pillow to replace your body as you gently slipped form the bed, careful not to wake him. Slipping on your favorite pair of slippers and a robe to keep yourself warm in the chilly morning air, you glance over your shoulder to take a final peak at the man sleeping like a baby in your bed. He has always been beautiful, both inside and out, but there was something incredible ethereal about the way the early morning sun rays bathed his silhouette in a warm glow that had your heart melting in the cavity of your chest.

You tread carefully down the hall, cautious to all the creaks in the floorboards and objects that could knock over if you weren’t paying attention. Making your way into the kitchen, you take a moment to think about what exactly you were going to make Jin for this surprise breakfast you were eager to create. Settling on some homemade waffles with fruit and cream, you create a list in your mind of all the ingredients necessary so you could get them out at once to avoid prolonging the noise and risk of waking Jin.

Once everything was laid on the counter, you searched the cupboards as silently as possible until you found the waffle iron, pulling it from its place towards the back, and cringing at the minute dings and clangs it made, until it was resting gently along with the other supplies.

Just as you were about to kick things into gear, you notice the blatant mistake you’d made, forgetting the most important ingredient. Flour. A quick survey of the kitchen had you almost falling to the floor in despair thinking you were out of the damn stuff and all your effort would be a waste, but a second turn over shows the flour on one of the far shelves.

The highest shelf to be exact and you curse yourself for being short and Jin for most likely putting it there on purpose so you couldn’t reach it. However, this minor inconvenience was not about to deter your from your game plan. You were going to make Jin breakfast if it was the last thing you did, and god dammit it was going to be a nice surprise.

Unlike any sane or normal human being, you didn’t have a stool to get to the shelf because Jin insisted you’d never need one as long as he was around. So, you did the only somewhat-logical, somewhat-idiotic thing you could think of and clamber your way up onto the countertop, resting on your knees and reaching up as far as you could until you could just about touch the bag with your fingertips.

After an excruciating few seconds with no luck, you take a deep breath and force yourself up onto your feet as best you can, leaning towards the shelf to wrap your hand around the top of the bag. Just as you’re about to pull the darn thing from it’s hiding place, the clearing of a throat behind you catches you off guard, causing you to lose your balance on the edge of the counter.

You could hear the bag of flour tumble to the ground in a loud burst but instead of feeling the cold tile underneath your frame as you hit the ground, you come into contact with long arms and a firm chest. Jin reacted just in time to catch you on your descent ignoring the cloud of flour billowing into the air.

When you finally caught your breath, exhaling the one you’d held in during the fall, you turn to see Jin, large sly grin plastered to his smug face. It almost made you wish he had let you fall so you wouldn’t have to thank him for saving you from your idiotic mess.

Alas, he’d always be there to save you, because that’s what good boyfriends do, and he loves you too much to let you get hurt when he can avoid it.

“What are you doing?” He asks, looking over you from head to toe checking for any sign of injury. Not wanting to admit to your plan, you decide to take a humorous approach, figuring it could at least score you some make-up points if this ends poorly.

“I think I’m falling for you.” He bursts into laughter, holding you tight to him despite your effort to wriggle away. You’d been embarrassed in front of Jin before, countless times, but not when you were trying so hard to impress him. It just felt entirely too much to bear and you would rather bury yourself in a pile of blankets never to see the light of day again.

Jin wouldn’t let you though, because he knows how important it is to find humor in the worst of circumstances. He wouldn’t let you shut yourself off and wallow in humiliation when there was nothing to be ashamed about. There was nothing you could do to make him think you are anything less than uniquely perfect in your own way, especially because of the crazy things you do for him.

“Really? And here I thought you already loved me?” Jin’s face softens when he sees the red flush on your face, knowing how easily embarrassed you are about the smallest of things. His hand moves from your side to cup your chin, directing you to look him in the eyes even though he knows you don’t want to. You give in and stare up at him, a pout present on your lips.

“How about I help you clean this mess up and I make you some breakfast,” he asks sweetly, letting you out of his grasp to turn to the mess of flour on the floor. Before he can reach out to collect the busted bag, you’re slapping his hands away.

“No, just let me do it! I made the mess, I’ll clean it,” you cry, sweeping up the flour with your hands into a neat little pile to dispose of, “I just wanted to make you breakfast is all.”

Jin can’t help the twinge in his heart, the pout in your voice tugging at every single heartstring and sending a warm tingle through every nerve in his body. He knows how much you love to surprise him and it warms his heart knowing you’d go this far just to make him happy.

“Alright, then how about this,” you turn your attention from the floor to Jin, whose dusting his pajama pants off and heading to the closet, grabbing the broom and dustpan before padding back over to where you kneel on the ground, “I sweep this up while you make breakfast. It’s the least I can do for nearly giving you a heart attack.”

He beams at you, waiting for your answer as you lift yourself from the ground, swiping the bits of flour from your legs and hands.

“Alright, deal,” you say, a small smile forming on your lips as Jin walks past you to tackle the mess, but not before he lands a quick peck to your cheek.

As you get to work on breakfast and Jin finishes up sweeping the last remnants of flour from the floor, his voice rings out over the sizzle of the pan, “Just, next time, ask me to get the flour down for you, okay?”

A smirk plays at your lips, the soaring feeling from finally making Jin a meal for once fueling your body with adrenaline, so you counter playfully, “Or, you could stop putting it on the highest shelf so I won’t have to climb the counters to reach it?”

You don’t have to look at him to know he’s smiling at your suggestion. Suddenly, his arms are wrapped around your waist, his face buried in the side of your neck. He places featherlight kisses to the sensitive skin at your nape, “Sorry, won’t happen again.”

And Then He Was Gray (Part One)

image

Disclaimer: I edited the pic I used above, but do not own the OG one. For the purposes of this one-shot, (G)I-DLE and BTS are closer in age than they are irl. I imagine the girls to be around 2 or so years older than they are currently. FYI none of them are minors, and they are all legal drinking age… I checked 😉

This imagine/one-shot was inspired by none other than… Jin’s famous gray, star-patterned crop top. I remember DYING when I first saw that footage of Hoseok taking pictures of Jin lifting his arms and showing off his amazingly toned torso… So, in honor of that magical, wonderful shirt, enjoy 💜

Note: In case it wasn’t clear, I gave Soyeon a nickname that her friends call her. They’ll call her “So-So” occasionally. It’s not based in real life at all, I just thought it was kinda kute.

Age Recommendation: 21+ (Not just a recommendation, kuties!)

Warnings: ALL of BTS make an appearance, (G)I-DLE make an appearance (yes, I like them), PDA, consumption of lots of alcohol, JiHope being the world’s cutest couple and making me pop all the UwU’s, Tae and JK being rowdy drunks, lonely angst 😔 Not much smut in this part. SWEARS, God, I nearly always forget swears 🙄

Word Count: 1,157

Summary: Your best friend Jeon Soyeon invites you to a kick-back with all of her friends and their significant others, intent on hooking you up with someone. Everyone seems taken, though, until he arrives, wearing a star-studded, gray top that makes your mouth water.

Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ

And Then He Was Gray (Jin One-Shot, Smut, Fluff) Part One

“Stop fiddling, you look great!” my best friend said, slapping my hands away from my skirt.

“I can’t help it, I feel like the bottom of my ass is showing,” I groaned, continuing to tug at the plaid, gray fabric.

Soyeon rolled her eyes. “So what if it is?”

I scoffed. “Then I’d like my jeans back please!”

“Y/n. You do not go to a party dressed like it’s just another Friday, okay? This is a special occasion, the first time we’ve been out in ages! Please, for the love of all things holy, try to have fun,” she begged.

Rolling my eyes, I gave her a tiny nod, reluctantly agreeing to “have fun,” as she put it. My idea of fun was curling up with my favorite show, rolled up in a blanket like the lazy burrito I was. However, my best friend had been invited to this kick-back, and since all of her university friends were going to be there, and, more importantly, since the girl she was currently into was going to be there, I was forced to come along as her wing-woman. When my bestie explained why she wanted me to come, I couldn’t help feeling slighted. That was seriously her reasoning why the fuck I had to go? Couldn’t Soyeon find some other gal pal to dress up like a doll and drag places?

“Guess not,” I thought as we stepped onto the porch and knocked on the door. We could already hear music booming from the inside, accompanied by loud laughter and shouts.

A boy whipped open the door, laughing at something behind him. I was taken aback by his large stature and wide, white smile. “Ladies,” he greeted when he saw us, his smile turning into a smirk. “Come on in.”

“Nice to see you too, Jungkook,” Soyeon said, pressing a hand on the boy’s chest and pushing him aside.

The house was rather large and beautifully decorated on the inside. “Wow,” I said, looking around. “Whose place is this?”

“Mine,” the boy, Jungkook, said. “Well, my parents. But they’re out of town, so for the weekend, it’s mine.”

“It’s nice.”

“Thanks.” Jungkook motioned to the kitchen. “Grab food, drinks, whatever. Most of us are outside around the fire pit.”

“Cool, thanks,” Soyeon said, grabbing me by the wrist and making a beeline for the kitchen.

“Is that the guy?” I hissed as she tugged me along.

“Nope,” she replied as we passed a couple wrapped around each other, making out in plain sight.

“Ugh,” Soyeon said, wrinkling her nose. “That’s my friend from university, Yuqi, and Jungkook’s best friend, Taehyung. I so regret introducing those two.”

Two guys were in the kitchen, one dark-haired, the other blonde. Both were handsome as hell, but while the dark-haired one had more pointed, angular features, the blonde’s were rounded, soft, and delicate. “This is Hoseok, I call him Hobi,” she said, pointing. “And that’s Jimin. They’re only the cutest couple I know.” Soyeon leaned on the counter and squished her cheeks between her hands.

Hobi rolled his eyes, tugging Jimin closer by the waist. “Soyeon, please.”

“It’s true,” she retorted.

“Don’t let Taehyung hear you say that,” Jimin said, chuckling. “He thinks he and Yuqi are the World’s Cutest Couple.”

“Because we are,” a deep voice said. I turned to see a tall, handsome guy with dark hair leading a girl with large doe eyes and waist-length, wavy brown hair into the kitchen.

Soyeon scoffed. “More like World’s Most Inconsiderate Couple.”

“Soyeon, please. Don’t be jealous.” Taehyung’s mischievous grin did nothing to stop my bestie from throwing an empty cup at him.

Blatantly ignoring them, Hobi nodded in my direction. “So-So, who’s your friend?”

“Oh, this is my best friend, Y/n. I’ve known her since we were kids.”

“That’s cool, nice to meet you,” Hobi said, extending his hand. I shook it, shyly nodding.

Jimin poured everyone drinks before we headed outside, the boys jostling each other as they joked around and making us girls giggle. We sat in some lawn chairs circled around a fire pit, where a few people were already roasting marshmallows and drinking. “Soyeon!” a girl with long, dark hair pulled into a ponytail exclaimed, throwing her arms around my bestie. “I missed you!”

“Missed you too, Shuhua. It’s only been what, a day?”

“Feels longer,” Shuhua mock-pouted before taking a seat on Jungkook’s lap. Leaning over his girlfriend, Jungkook gestured to a guy with silvery-purple hair who was holding the hand of a girl with blonde-streaked, dark hair and gorgeous, piercing eyes. “This is Namjoon, and his girlfriend, Minnie.”

Namjoon shook our hands with a smile. “Nice to meet you. Feel free to grab some roasting sticks and ‘mallows if you want.”

Another boy with dark hair and pale skin held his hand out as well. “I’m Yoongi. This is my girlfriend, Soojin.”

Soojin had to be one of the prettiest girls I’d ever seen. Her blonde hair cascaded down to her waist, and her red-lipsticked smile was sultry yet shy. “Yoongi sure is a lucky guy,” I thought while shaking their hands as well.

After introductions were finished, I sat down in a chair, pulling my bestie down with me. “Soyeon, all of these guys seem to be taken. You said you were bringing me here to meet someone,” I whispered.

“Patience,” she hissed back before her entire face lit up. “Oh my God, Miyeon! You look amazing!”

Soyeon got up and placed her hands on a girl’s shoulders. The girl must have just arrived. Her purse was still on her shoulder and a cup full of liquid was in her hand. “Thanks,” she said, giving Soyeon an up-down, her pretty brown eyes sliding slowly over my best friend’s body. “You look good too, Soyeon.”

Ah, so this was the famous Miyeon. Soyeon hadn’t shut up about her since the day they met, and tonight was supposed to be the night my best friend made her move.

“Ten bucks they hook up,” I heard Jungkook whisper, and I turned to shoot him a grin as the others snickered. Luckily, Soyeon and Miyeon were too caught up in each other to notice.

After a while of drinking and laughing, I was pleasantly buzzed and my best friend was slowly sliding one hand up Miyeon’s thigh while the other was intertwined between her fingers. Score one for Soyeon. From what she told me, Miyeon was girlfriend material.

The other couples were also getting cozy, and I suddenly felt a chill as I realized the closest thing I had to snuggle with was bare-ass air. This was fun, and I liked meeting new people, but I knew this kick-back was going to end up with everyone pairing off. Maybe I should just go home. Snuggle my blanket. Watch a movie. You know, my definition of fun.

“Beer pong anyone?” Taehyung asked suddenly, holding up a couple of ping pong balls.

And Then He Was Gray (Part Two)

image

Disclaimer: I edited the pic I used for my header, but the OG pic belongs to BTS & BigHit. The pic below isn’t mine either. I obviously don’t own Balenciaga.

Age Recommendation: 21+ (Not just a recommendation, kuties!)

Warnings: Consumption of alcohol, Tae and JK being rowdy drunks, lonely angst that disappears when he comes into the story (I think you know who I’m talking about by now 😉), sexual tension, talk of sex, betting, SWEARZ 4 DAYZ, lotsa skin showing, bikinis!

Word Count: 1,626

Summary: Your best friend Jeon Soyeon invites you to a kick-back with all of her friends and their significant others, intent on hooking you up with someone. Everyone seems taken, though, until he arrives, wearing a star-studded, gray top that makes your mouth water.

Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ

And Then He Was Gray (Jin One-Shot, Smut, Fluff) Part Two

At the mention of beer pong, everyone cheered in agreement and started inside with me taking up the rear. I smiled, seeing Soyeon and Miyeon’s hands still intertwined. I was happy for them, I really was… but I couldn’t help feeling a bit left out. It’d been a long while since I had a boyfriend, choosing to concentrate on my family’s business rather than my social life after high school. Still, I missed having someone by my side, someone to cuddle with and confide in… someone who understood me. And yet, I hadn’t had a date in over two years. All of the boys I knew seemed to be either taken or not into girls like me. Then again, I was picky as well. It took a special kind of man to catch my eye.

I nervously tugged at my gray skirt again as we went into the basement and sat on various couches and chairs situated around a tv and ping pong table. Taehyung and Jungkook set up the cups in pyramid formations on both sides, filling them nearly to the brim with beer once they were done.

“Alright, rules!” Taehyung shouted over the din. “Teams of two each, and we’ll rotate out so the next team plays the winner of each round. Whoever’s left standing will be crowned the ultimate beer pong champions!”

“So extra,” Soyeon muttered, rolling her eyes.

Taehyung smirked. “And just for you, So-So, I’m adding another rule. Bounce shots that sink means two cups to drink.”

Soyeon groaned amidst the chuckles that broke out. “Taehyung, you know I’m already the worst at beer pong, do you have to make it even harder for me?!”

Miyeon grabbed my best friend’s hand and leaned in close. “Don’t worry, I’m pretty good,” she said, rubbing her thumb soothingly over Soyeon’s fingers.

I felt a twinge of disappointment. I was hoping Soyeon and I would be a team, but it looks like I’d be the odd person out. “Whatcha all doing?” a voice said. I turned to see him for the first time, intently watching us from the doorway. His right arm stretched above his head as he rested his elbow easily on the doorframe. I swallowed hard as I noticed his gray, star-patterned shirt riding up just enough for me to catch a glimpse of a lean, toned torso and a peek of what appeared to be Balenciaga boxers. He leaned forward, a playful smirk on his full, pink lips, causing his shirt to ride up and his jeans to slide down even more. My lips parted unconsciously as heat flooded straight to my core.

I immediately knew I wanted a taste of that honey-toned skin and those cotton-candy lips. The guy’s piercing brown eyes caught mine and his smirk grew. Tingles broke out all over my body. Shit. He knew my secret. I don’t know how, but he knew.

He tore his gaze away from me as his friends greeted him. “Jin, fucking finally!” Namjoon said, standing up and clapping him on the shoulder.

“Yeah, we would’ve waited for you, hyung,” Taehyung pouted. “We’ve already started beer pong, and everyone has a team already.”

“Not everyone,” I said loudly. Everyone turned to look at me, Soyeon’s mouth dropping open in shock. Now that I think about it, I think this was the first time she’d ever seen me speak up in a public setting. I was normally pretty shy and reserved, keeping to myself and trying to not be a bother. Even I was astounded by my own behavior, but that look that he gave me… I just had to know. I had to know if he knew.

“Oh, that’s right,” Taehyung said weakly. “Y/n doesn’t have a team. Sorry Y/n, I didn’t realize we had an odd number.”

“That’s okay,” I said, shooting him a smile.

“Well, then,” Jin said. He stepped right in front of me, looking down at me sitting on the couch, hands shoved in his jean pockets. “Guess we’re a team.”

I blushed profusely as he sat down, making himself comfortable in the seat beside me and slinging an arm over to rest easily on top of the couch.

The first teams up were Tae and Yuqi versus Jungkook and Shuhua. The boys loudly trash-talked each other nearly the entire game, with the girls getting more and more giggly as more cups emptied. Finally, it was down to the last cup on Taehyung’s side, while Jungkook’s side had three cups left. “It’s over,” JK said, giving his hyung a wide, evil grin.

“Like hell it is,” Taehyung growled. “You got this, babe.”

Yuqi stepped up, swaying a little, and took her time lining up the shot. “Go Yuqi!” Shuhua cheered. “You can do it!”

Yuqi giggled then took the shot. It bounced off the rim of the cup, eliciting groans from everyone, including her boyfriend. “Awww, babe, don’t worry though, it’s okay,” Taehyung said, tugging his girlfriend close and brushing his nose against hers. “If we get out this round, we can go do something else that’s fun.”

“Oh hell no,” Jungkook said, pointing at Taehyung. “If I find you guys fucking in my bed, or anywhere else in this house, I will kick you out. I’m serious, Tae.”

“What if we promise to wash the sheets?” Taehyung said, waggling his eyebrows.

“Get the fuck out,” Jungkook retorted with a grin, pointing at the door.

“Okay, okay, let’s make things interesting,” Taehyung said, holding his hands up. “If you miss this next shot, you can’t say another word about what Yuqi and I do and where… but if you make it, Yuqi and I won’t touch a single bed in this place.”

“Or couch, or chair, or counter, or table.”

“Fine,” Taehyung said, rolling his eyes.

Jungkook lined up the shot, making us all hold our breath in anticipation. He tossed the ball, and I swear, the rest of us followed its entire trajectory with our eyes until it landed… hit the rim of the cup… and bounced off.

Taehyung roared in approval, grabbing Yuqi by the waist and spinning her around, while Jungkook sank to the floor in mock-defeat and Shuhua laughed her ass off. I was giggling at their exchange when Jin leaned over and murmured something in my ear. “I think we can easily take whoever wins.”

His breath tickled and I leaned away instinctively. “Yeah, maybe,” I muttered before clearing my throat.

I saw a trace of disappointment in Jin’s eyes at my reaction, but before I could question it, he blinked and it was gone, replaced by a laughing smile as he surveyed the drama in front of us. Taehyung may have won the bet, but Shuhua sunk the last shot, winning the game overall. “Alright, who’s next?!” Jungkook practically yelled.

“This is boooooring,” Soyeon drawled. “Don’t you guys have a pool? We brought our swimsuits, you know.”

I blinked. We did?

Jungkook and Taehyung looked at each other. “Pool it is,” Tae said, shrugging. “I needed an excuse to get naked anyway.”

Everyone groaned and Namjoon even chucked a pillow at Taehyung. “Shut the fuck up, dude,” he said, shaking his head.

“C’mon,” Soyeon muttered, grabbing me by the hand and pulling me up. “Shuhua has a bunch of stuff here. She’ll have something that’ll fit you.”

I followed my best friend down the hallway into what looked like a guest bedroom. She threw open a door to a walk-in closet filled with womens’ clothing, opening one of the drawers and rifling through it. “This is all Shuhua’s?” I gasped.

Soyeon shrugged. “Yeah. She stays here for weeks at a time since she lives kinda far away. Jungkook’s parents are cool with it because he keeps telling them they’re gonna get married.”

“Are they?”

“Eventually. They’ve been together since high school and are still hot for each other. I doubt they’ll be breaking up any time soon.”

“Must be nice,” I said absentmindedly.

My best friend turned to look at me. “Hey, you’ll find someone,” she said, stopping her search and reaching out to grab my hand. “In fact, I think that someone is here tonight. Did you see the way Jin looked at you?”

I shrugged uncomfortably. “I guess.”

Soyeon rolled her eyes. “Y/n. We have been trying so hard to find a girl Jin likes. I’ve introduced him to every acquaintance I have and then some,” she said. “He’s never looked at any of them the way he looked at you, let alone said more than two words to them.”

I frowned. “You’ve never introduced him to me.”

“Yeah, because he’s kind of a douchebag,” she said. “He treats girls like tissues… you know, use once then throw away? I think my best friend can do better.”

“Wait, then why are you now so intent on hooking us up?”

“Because,” Soyeon sighed, turning back around and rifling through the drawer once more. “At this rate, even if it’s only a one-night stand, it’s a win in my book.”

“Wow, thanks,” I scoffed.

“Hey, if getting laid by a smoking-hot, drop-dead gorgeous guy like Jin brings your sex drive back into play, then so much the better for you,” she retorted, tossing a couple pieces of fabric at me. “Wear this.”

I held them up to the light. “No,” I said firmly. The bikini was a pretty, bright turquoise, but it was so… flimsy. I’d feel totally naked wearing this. The top wore like a sports bra with straps criss-crossing in the front to show off some cleavage. The bottoms would be normal except one side was made entirely of straps, dipping towards my core in a provocative way.

“Fuck no.”

Soyeon tossed me a wide, mischievous smile. “Fuck yes.”

And Then He Was Gray (Jin One-Shot, Smut, Fluff) Part Three

Soyeon made me change first before changing into a skimpy, little navy blue bikini herself. “That barely covers your ass,” I advised as she walked out of the bathroom.

“Really?” she said, turning around and examining her butt. “Perfect.”

I rolled my eyes, quickly grabbing a lacy, kimono-type cover-up and throwing it over myself before Soyeon dragged us both out of the bedroom. Hobi and Jimin stumbled out of the bedroom next to us, giggling like crazy. Hobi reached out and grabbed a handful of Jimin’s ass, squeezing hard before capturing his boyfriend’s full lips in a passionate kiss.

“I need to get laid,” Soyeon sighed, causing them to break apart and laugh.

“Don’t worry, So-So,” Hobi said, winking. “You’ll get some tonight, I just know it. Bet you will too, Y/n.”

“Wh-What?” I stuttered.

“Jin likes you,” he said, waggling his eyebrows.

Soyeon squealed. “Told you!”

“I seriously doubt that,” I muttered, thinking about our brief interaction in the basement. Would he still be interested after I acted so cold?

“Trust, Y/n. I just talked to him, and believe me when I say he’s never talked about a girl after meeting them the way he talked about you,” Hobi said. “He even remembered your name.”

Hobi gave me an up-down glance, smirking as he surveyed my bare legs and waist. “And when he sees you in that bikini, trust me, he’ll be all over you.”

“Eyes up here,” I snapped as Hobi’s eyes roamed over my cleavage.

“Hey,” Jimin protested.

Hobi tugged Jimin close to him. “Trust me babe, she’s not my type,” he murmured before sensually nipping at the skin of Jimin’s neck, causing his boyfriend to sigh in pleasure.

“You guys are something else,” I said, shaking my head.

We reached the backyard to see pretty much everyone else there, some sitting on the pool’s edge with just their feet in and others already swimming. Soyeon ran up to the pool and gracefully dove in. I looked to the side and saw Miyeon watching her, biting her lip as if trying to hold herself back as Soyeon emerged, hair slicked back. “Come on in,” she said, holding her hand out to Miyeon. “The water’s great!”

Miyeon hesitated before jumping in right beside Soyeon. “Atta girl,” I thought, smiling to myself. “Get some.”

I glanced around and noticed a couple of people were still missing. “Where are Taehyung and Yuqi?” I asked aloud as I sat and dipped a foot in the pool.

Jimin rolled his eyes, settling in on my right. “Where do you think?”

I shuddered. “Actually, I don’t want to know.”

“Yeah, it’s probably less scarring that way.”

Yoongi and Soojin were sitting on my left, quietly watching the others with her head on his shoulder, while Namjoon and Minnie were already in the hot tub, giggling and stealing kisses here and there. Jungkook and Shuhua were also nowhere to be seen, and neither was the one person I actually wanted to talk to.

I stood up, deciding to take a little walk. I got no more than ten feet away when he appeared in front of me in nothing but a pair of black swim shorts. Jin’s eyes slid down my body, starting from my eyes, catching on my partially-exposed breasts, then roaming down to my bare waist before flicking back up to my eyes. I’d never felt so exposed in my life. “Hey,” he said, taking a step closer. “Y/n, right?”

So much for remembering my name. “Yeah. Jin, right?”

“Right.”

Now it was my turn to check him out. My gaze roamed over his broad shoulders, lingering over his tight, toned abs, and the subtle lines of muscle that drew my eyes below his waistline. His perfect, pink mouth was drawn upwards in a smirk. I unconsciously bit my lip, thinking how good those lips would feel against my skin.

Jin drew close and pressed his thumb against my bottom lip, drawing it out from between my teeth. “That’s my job,” he murmured. Heat flooded through me, wetting my core and causing every muscle in my body to clench.

I scoffed, pulling away slightly. “You don’t even know me.”

“Maybe,” he said. “But I know about you. I make you nervous, yeah?”

I didn’t answer, my cheeks so hot they felt like they were on fire.

Leaning down, his lips lightly brushed against the shell of my ear. “Good,” he whispered. Tingles shot down my nerves, making me shiver despite the warm summer air.

Jin drew back, still smirking, and stalked over to the hot tub where everyone else had congregated. He sat, putting his feet in the bubbling water, before turning to look at me. He flicked his eyes to the ground next to him, and I swallowed hard before coming over and sitting where he indicated. Jin nonchalantly pressed his palm into the ground behind me, effectively pinning me to his side, as the group engulfed him in their conversation. Mesmerized, I watched his lips as he talked and melted under his smile as he laughed. “What about you, Y/n?” Namjoon asked.

“Wh-What?” I stuttered, tearing my gaze away from Jin.

“Where do you go to school?”

“Oh, I don’t. My family owns a restaurant, and I’m waiting for my brother to get back and help out so I can go to university. He’s been studying culinary arts out of the country. I’ll probably do the same.”

“Wow, that’s so cool,” Soojin said, speaking for the first time since we’d met. “I love cooking. What type of food does your restaurant serve?”

“Authentic Korean cuisine” I said proudly. “Have been for four generations now.”

“Okay, it’s settled. Next kick-back, you’re in charge of food,” Yoongi joked, pointing at me.

Everyone laughed and moved on to another topic, but Jin’s eyes never left my face. “I also love to cook,” he murmured.

“That’s… cool,” I said weakly. “Maybe sometime we could… cook for each other.” God, could I get any more pathetic? That was the lamest excuse for a date I’d ever thought up.

To my surprise, Jin smiled. “That sounds fun.”

“It does?”

“Yeah. I’d love to get to know you more.”

Before my blush could deepen any further, Jin leaned down to whisper in my ear. “Listen,” he murmured. “I’m gonna go inside and start cleaning up. I think the night is drawing to a close, and everyone else looks a little… busy.”

I turned, seeing Minnie and Namjoon kissing deeply, as well as noticing Yoongi’s hand tracing lazy circles over Soojin’s thigh as he murmured something in her ear. Soyeon was tugging Miyeon upright, giggling, and Jimin and Hobi were already walking towards the house, hands roaming all over each other.

I sighed. Just as I predicted. Everyone was pairing off, and I was left being the most single singleton there ever was. “Want to help me?” Jin asked.

I looked at him in surprise. “Sure.”

The water splashed as he withdrew his feet and stood up, holding out his hand to me. I grasped it, and he easily drew me upright. Once we were both standing, he didn’t let go of my fingers. I felt rather small next to him, but I think that had more to do with his overbearing sexual presence than our heights. Jin led the way, still holding my hand, opening the sliding glass door and slipping through. I followed, and we quietly started putting food into containers.

“I’m always the one cleaning up,” Jin sighed, breaking the silence. “Everyone else is so wrapped up in their SO’s, they wouldn’t even notice if the food sat out all night.”

I chuckled. “I believe it.”

Once the food was put away, Jin turned and leaned against the counter, his hands grasping the edge of it behind him. I had to turn away once I realized his torso was still bare. The temptation of his abs drawing taut and his arm muscles flexing was almost too much to bear. “I-I should probably get h-home,” I stuttered. “Soyeon said she might stay the night, I’ll just text her and–”

“Turn around,” he commanded, cutting me off.

I couldn’t disobey even if I wanted to, but I still kept my eyes on the ground.

“Look at me.”

I bit my lip as I looked up into Jin’s dark, piercing eyes. He closed the distance between us in one stride and once again pressed his thumb into my bottom lip, drawing it out from between my teeth. “Didn’t I say that was my job?” he said, his tone stern.

“Fuck,” I thought, feeling my legs turn to jelly. He knew. There was no way he didn’t know.

“Don’t bite your lip again… unless you want to be punished.”

I shook my head fiercely, feeling myself slip. “No, I-I’ll be good.”

Jin smirked. “I know you will.”

He wrapped his hands around my waist and squeezed, lifting me onto the counter. “You’ll be a good girl for me, won’t you?” he murmured, nudging my thighs apart with a knee, his dark eyes boring into mine as he pressed his body into my core.

“Y-Yes,” I stuttered.

“Yes what?”

“Yes, Jin.”

He clicked his tongue in disapproval. “C’mon, baby girl. I know you know what I want to be called.”

I gulped, hoping my voice wouldn’t come out as shaky as I felt. “Yes… Sir.”

Jin let out a deep groan. “Good girl.”

He leaned down and pressed his full lips against my neck, flicking his tongue out for a taste and causing goosebumps to break out all over my skin. I threw my head back and moaned.

“Do you know your colors?” Jin murmured against my skin.

I nodded, unable to speak from finally obtaining the pleasure I didn’t know I’d been craving. “Words, baby girl,” he muttered before tracing his tongue over my sweet spot once more.

“Yes,” I gasped. “I do.”

“What’s your color now?”

“Green. So green it’s not even funny.”

Jin chuckled before drawing back and pressing his forehead to mine. “I knew you were my type of girl the second I laid eyes on you,” he murmured. “My friends have been trying to get me with someone ever since my break-up over a year ago. Unfortunately, none of those girls ever understood my needs.”

“I do,” I said breathlessly. “I know exactly what you need.”

Jin was so close now our breathes intermingled every time we exhaled. His gaze flickered between my lips and my eyes as he hooked his fingers under the fabric of my cover-up and slid it slowly down my shoulders. I shivered and gasped as air hit my bare skin. Jin was in total control of the situation, and he knew it. I saw how he relished in the way he was making me desperately compliant.

Finally, Jin grasped the back of my neck and kissed me, completely enveloping my lips with his full, pink ones. The push and pull between my mouth and his settled into a steady rhythm as we hungrily devoured each other, our thirst finally being quenched after what felt like miles of desert. Each time his lips met mine, Jin flicked out his tongue to taste me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and my legs around his middle, eliciting a groan from him as I drew him as close as possible. His hands slid up and down my naked waist, dipping down to my hips, then around my body to squeeze my barely-covered ass.

“Hey guys.”

We broke apart, and despite me roughly pushing Jin away in embarrassment, he kept his arms firmly wrapped around me.

And Then He Was Gray (Jin One-Shot, Smut, Fluff) Part Four

Jungkook was standing there, leaning against the wall with folded arms and a knowing smirk dancing over his lips.

“The fuck do you want?” Jin said, still holding me close, hands resting easily over my ass.

“Just came down to see why it got so… quiet.”

“You’re one to talk. Haven’t you been fucking your girl for the past five minutes?”

Jungkook scoffed, dramatically holding a hand to his chest in mock-pain. “You wound me, hyung. And, not that it’s any of your business, but I’ve been fucking her for the past hour.”

I shook my head in disgust. I could have gone my whole life without hearing that.

Jin smirked. “When you say fucking, you actually mean sleeping, right?”

“Ha ha,” Jungkook shot back sarcastically. “Look, I just came down here to see what everyone’s plans were. If you all want to stay over, that’s fine by me. Except maybe Taehyung and Yuqi… I swear to god, the last time they stayed over, they kept everyone awake the whole night with how fucking loud they were.”

I grimaced. Okay, scratch what I said before. That was something I could’ve gone my whole life without hearing. “Fuck off Jungkook,” Jin said nonchalantly, nuzzling his cheek against the top of my head. “You’re grossing out my girl here.”

I looked at Jin in surprise. Did he just call me… his girl?

A bunch of voices suddenly floated up from the backyard, announcing the arrival of Soyeon and the others stumbling into the kitchen. The din came to a screeching halt as they noticed mine and Jin’s close proximity, his hands still resting over my bottom. “Y/n!” Soyeon gasped.

I rolled my eyes and gently pushed Jin away, sliding down from the counter. I grabbed my best friend’s hand and led her into the hall. “Okay, you need to spill right the fuck now,” she hissed as we went back into the guest bedroom.

“I don’t kiss and tell,” I retorted, grabbing my clothes and going into the bathroom to change.

Soyeon squealed. “You kissed?!”

I shushed her through the door as I pulled off the flimsy bikini and put on my own clothes. “Soyeon, all I need to know is whether you’re staying the night or not. You’re my ride, but you’ve had a lot to drink. I don’t think you should be driving right now.”

My bestie hiccuped in response. “You’re probably right,” she slurred. “Plus, Miyeon…”

I gave her a knowing smile as I came out, fully dressed. “Yeah, I know. Look, it’s okay, I’ll just call an Uber or–”

“Or I can give you a ride. I didn’t drink tonight.”

I peered past Soyeon to see Jin standing in the doorway, his gray shirt now covering his upper half, hands shoved into dark jean pockets. I swallowed hard as I remembered how easily that top rode up to expose a peek of his toned body.

“Are you sure? You don’t have–”

“She’d love that,” Soyeon said quickly, cutting me off. “Thanks, Jin.”

He smiled. “Anytime, So-So.”

Gently taking my hand, Jin led me back to the kitchen where we made our good-byes. Soojin and Minnie pulled me into tight hugs, saying they’d get my number from Soyeon and text me. I also hugged Miyeon. “Take care of my bestie, okay?”

“You got it,” she said, her pretty brown eyes sparkling mischievously as she smiled.

Namjoon and Yoongi both gave me awkward side-hugs, but Jungkook’s bear-hug nearly squeezed the life out of me. “Come over any time,” he said, holding me at arm’s length. “You’re part of the fam now.”

“Thanks,” I said, shooting him a grin. Despite feeling left out at the beginning of the night, at least I made new friends by the end of it. I only hoped those friendships would last.

The last one I said good-bye to was Soyeon. She wrapped her arms around me and gave me a quick kiss on the cheek. “Be safe, okay?” she muttered, swaying a little bit. “Call me in the morning, and you know, wrap it up.”

“God, So-So,” I said, rolling my eyes.

“But I love you.” She stared up at me with doe eyes, her lower lip jutting out in a pout.

I sighed. “Fine, I love you too.”

That turned her frown upside-down, and she grinned, her large, dark eyes glazed over from too much to drink. “See you tomorrow?”

“Of course. I'll text you."

I turned away, and Jin took my hand, intertwining our fingers together as we walked out the door into the front yard. He opened the door of his gray truck for me, helping me up into the seat before going 'round, climbing into his seat, and settling behind the wheel. “Ready?” he asked.

I nodded, but truthfully, I wasn’t ready at all. I didn’t want this night to be over. Disappointment set in as Jin handed me his phone with a GPS app pulled up. “Type in your address,” he murmured, letting his fingers linger over mine just a moment too long. Well, I guess this was it. Once he took me home, I didn’t know if I’d ever get another chance with this guy. So much for my one-night stand.

“How do you know Soyeon?” he asked, breaking the silence that settled in between us as he drove.

“I’ve known her since I was little,” I replied. “Our moms were best friends.”

“That’s cool.”

I stayed silent, not really knowing what to say. Jin looked over at me and smirked as his eyes slid back to the road. “So what university do you want to attend?”

“Look, you don’t have to do this,” I sighed.

“Do what?”

“Pretend to be into me.”

“Who says I’m not into you?”

“Jin, it’s okay. I know what happened tonight was a one-time thing. You don’t have to pretend you're interested in me or anything.”

He scoffed in response, rolling his eyes. “I see my reputation precedes me.”

I uncomfortably fiddled with my fingers in my lap. “It’s not like that. I just want to be clear about where we stand. You don’t have to coddle me to make me feel better or whatever. I don’t want to be like other girls you’ve met at kick-backs like tonight.”

Jin glanced at me, his gaze dark and intense. “You won’t be.”

He suddenly pulled his truck over, stopping in front of an apartment building. “Hey, this isn’t my place," I said.

“You’re right,” Jin said. He took my hand, causing me to look up into those piercing, brown eyes. “It’s mine.”

My mouth parted in surprise. I practically felt the change in Jin as his eyes smoldered and his mouth contorted into a smirk. “Get over here,” he growled. In a flash, I unbuckled my seatbelt and clambered over to straddle his lap.

Once again, he pressed his forehead to mine, staring into my eyes, our breath coming out in pants, intermingling with each exhale. Jin reached up and ran a hand through my hair, the strands winding between his fingers. I sighed, and at the noise, Jin suddenly curled his fingers into a fist and pulled. I let out a gasp at the strange sensation of pain and pleasure mixing into one.

Jin leaned forward, his lips tickling the shell of my ear. “Such a good girl.”

He kissed me then, hard and fast, not giving me a single second to breathe as he shoved his tongue into my mouth, invading my cavern in a way that had my core wet in an instant. But he didn’t stop there. He pressed his lips to my jaw, tugging harder on my hair to force my head back, giving him full access to my neck. Alternating between sucking and nipping, he attacked the skin there until I cried out from the sting.

“Jin,” I moaned. “God, Jin, right there.”

“That’s right, baby girl,” he growled into my skin. “Say my name.”

Jin let his other hand roam everywhere as we continued to make out, first gripping my hip so hard I knew it was going to bruise, then squeezing my ass, then meandering around to my front where he groped my still covered breasts.

“Why are your clothes still on?” he grunted, suddenly pulling away. It was then he noticed my gray skirt riding up around my waist, exposing the black panties I wore underneath.

I nearly covered my face from embarrassment, but he grabbed my wrists, stopping me. His fierce gaze bore into me, exposing every want, every desire, every raw, animalistic emotion I felt. It was at that moment, I was absolutely sure he knew. He knew my deepest, darkest secret that not even Soyeon was aware of.

When it came to sexual needs, I absolutely wanted to be dominated in every meaning of the word. Inside, I was a complete and utter submissive, who relished in the feeling of relinquishing control in the most pleasurable way possible. Most guys I knew wouldn’t be able to handle my secret or accept that part of me, so I kept it hidden. To them, I was just the quiet girl who they had no idea hid such sexual prowess.

Yet even if they did know what I secretly desired, they wouldn’t understand the dynamics of the type of dom/sub relationship I wanted. It would go far beyond just sex. There would be an equal level of trust and control between me and my partner. They’d understand I’m not willing to lay down and be fucked by just anyone with an ego and a bossy mouth. My partner would see that without me, the submissive, there is no them, the dominant, and in that sense, we would be equal.

At this precise moment, though, I didn’t mind so much that my secret was exposed. I was ready to finally experiment with this side of me. I only cared about pleasing Jin, being his good girl, and getting to experience the pure bliss his dominant attitude promised.

Jin showed just a moment of tenderness, reaching up and stroking a long finger down my cheek before going back to the delightfully dirty and rough. He captured my mouth in his, completely dominating it fully with his tongue, before pulling back. “Color?” he panted.

“G-Green,” I huffed, still breathless from his kiss.

“Any lines you don’t want crossed?”

I thought a moment before shaking my head. If I had any lines to cross, I could always stop him by saying red.

Jin poked his tongue out and dragged it over his bottom lip. “Do I have your consent for what’s about to happen?”

I nodded.

He yanked at my hair, making me yelp. “Words, baby girl,” he growled through gritted teeth.

“Yes, yes!” I cried.

He released his hold before grabbing my hand and placing it on his crotch, forcing me to feel how rock hard he was. “See this?” he snapped, his dark eyes flickering downward. “You did this. You’ve been doing this to me since the second I laid eyes on you.”

“I-I’m sorry, Sir,” I said, shakily still trying to catch my breath.

“Sorry won’t cut it. What are you going to do about it?”

“I-I–”

He chuckled darkly. “Oh, sweet baby girl. You don’t know what to do with this huge cock? You don’t know how to please Sir?”

At his words, I finally let myself slip deep into the mindspace only reserved for my most sinful of fantasies. “No, Sir, please,” I begged. “Give me a chance, I’ll show you just how good I am.”

Jin clicked his tongue. “I have a better idea.”

He gripped my hips and spun me around so I was looking at the street outside the glass of his windshield. “I have been thinking about this ass,” he said, tracing the shell of my ear with the tip of his tongue. “Since I saw it in that fucking bikini.”

He yanked my knees apart, spreading me out. “Hands on the steering wheel, baby.”

I obeyed, gripping the leather-bound wheel until my knuckles turned white. I knew it would be the only tether to reality I would get. Jin lifted my skirt up, teasing the skin of my inner thighs with the tips of his soft fingers, gliding up and down, up and down until my eyes rolled to the back of my head from how crazy he was driving me.

Suddenly, he grasped my hips once more, causing me to shudder, and moved them in circles, grinding my ass down on his no-doubt aching cock. Jin groaned as he finally got a taste of the pleasure he’d been craving, and I felt my heart explode with glee. His satisfaction was my satisfaction, his exhilarated grunts and moans causing my juices to drip down.

He let go of my hips, but I continued to circle them at a slow, steady pace, driving him as mad with desire as I was. He put his now-free hands to good use, snaking them around to my front, first squeezing my breasts before sliding down to cup my panty-clad sticky core. He rubbed the pad of his middle finger in a circular motion over my bundle of nerves, causing me to gasp loudly and jerk my knees back together.

“Uh, uh, uh,” he scolded, his other hand gripping my thigh and pulling my legs apart once more. “None of that. You don’t want to be punished, do you?”

“No, Sir,” I practically sobbed as his finger continued torturing my clothed clit.

As a way of trying to make it up to him, I ground my ass into him harder, earnestly trying to win his approval back. He sighed in bliss. “God, Y/n, where the fuck have you been all my life?”

“Not Y/n,” I said, breathless from my efforts.

I could almost see the smirk that spread over his perfect, pink lips at my request. Jin stopped touching me, and slid those fingers up to pinch the elastic band of my panties, drawing it back and snapping it against my skin. Goosebumps broke out all over my body. “Alright then, baby girl,” he growled. “Lean back, and remember, keep those hands on that steering wheel… or else." I shivered, letting out something between a moan and a whimper.

He drew the band of my panties back once more, but this time, he slid his other hand down inside them and dipped his middle finger inside of me, causing me to moan. Next thing I knew, Jin was sliding the pad of that finger up and down my sensitive bundle of nerves, slick from my own wetness. I gasped and bucked back into him. “Stay still,” he warned.

He continued fingering me, teasing my clit until it swelled with stiffness, before finally plunging that middle finger inside of me. Curling it until the pressure was just right, he moved it in and out of me at a slow yet pleasing pace, adding his ring finger and doubling my pleasure. “You like that, baby?” he said.

I nodded, too lost in my own pleasure to speak. “You like me stretching you out?” he continued. “Like me fingering you where anyone could look in here and see?”

That caused my eyes to shoot open in panic. I glanced up and down the street, but didn’t see anyone. It was really late, after all. I smirked as I realized what he was doing. “See what?” I gasped, beginning to move with him.

Jin plunged them in deeper at a more rapid pace, punishing me for daring to question him. “See that you’re mine,” he growled. “See that this pretty pussy is mine. Mine to do with as I please.”

“And?” I asked, his dirty mouth helping to soak his hand further.

“And see that no one else can make you this wet with just their fingers.”

The ripple of pleasure I felt since the moment we began was rapidly rising into a tidal wave, and I knew it wouldn’t be long before it washed over me. “Will they see anything else?” I asked breathlessly, now moving my hips at the same pace as his fingers, grinding into them.

“Yeah,” he murmured. “They’ll see how hard I can make you cum.”

At his filthy words, he pressed the heel of his palm into my aching clit, and I cried out. Every muscle in my body clenched as that tidal wave of pleasure not only washed over me, but completely drowned me. My mouth fell open, my eyes rolling back as I reached my ultimate peak. “Jin, Jin, oh god, Jin!”

“That’s it, baby girl. Scream my name. Let the world know who this pussy belongs to.”

“You, just you,” I sobbed, falling back into him as I came down. My entire body was covered with a thin sheen of sweat. I heard slurping sounds paired with satisfied moans, and I knew he was licking my essence from his fingers. Jin grasped my jaw and turned my head, kissing me fiercely from behind, forcing me to taste myself.

“God, I nearly came in my pants,” he gasped, pulling back. “You are so fucking hot.”

I wiggled my ass, feeling that his member was still hard as marble. I twisted around so I was straddling him again and looked into his dark eyes. “Can we go inside?” I asked meekly. “I want… I want…”

Jin smirked, falling easily back into the scene. “I guess. Since you were such a good girl and you came so well for me, I’ll let you taste my cock.”

“Oh, I don’t just want to taste it,” I murmured, looking deep into his eyes. “I want to fucking choke on it.”

Jin let out a feral sound, something between a groan and a growl. “Well, then… What the hell are we waiting for?”

I couldn’t open the car door fast enough, scrambling to pop the handle then clamber down off his lap. Jin chuckled as he followed. “Eager little girl, aren’t you?”

Not able to resist, I leaned up and pecked him on the lips, breaking the mood for the last time. “I want you,” I said seriously, gazing into his eyes.

Jin’s mouth parted open at my words, but after a moment, he shook his head, regaining his composure. He intertwined my finger between his. “Like I said, what the hell are we waiting for?”

And Then He Was Gray (Jin One-Shot, Smut, Fluff) Part Five

Once Jin had shut and locked his front door, I turned around and looked at him from across the room, eyes wide with apprehension. He stared at me for a few long moments, a playful smile drawing the corners of his full, cotton-candy lips upward, his large hands shoved in his pockets.

“Tell me what you want,” he said so quietly I almost didn’t catch it.

“Want… Want you,” I murmured.

Jin crossed the room, stepping so close to me I could feel the heat emanating from his body. I looked down in embarrassment, but he wasn’t having any of that. He gently cupped both sides of my jaw with his hands and raised my gaze until it was locked onto his. I drew in a shaky breath, trembling from the suspense, as his head dipped further down until his lips mercifully brushed against mine.

I let out a satisfied moan, finally getting a taste of what I desired, as I deepened the kiss by wrapping my arms around Jin’s neck and tugging him closer. Jin let go of my face, putting his hands to work elsewhere. They scrambled over my body, not able to decide on a resting place. They first squeezed my hips, then wrapped around them, then moved to massage handfuls of my ass, only to roam north and tweak my clothed breasts until my nipples stiffened.

I gasped and licked inside his mouth, each new sensation bringing me higher and higher until my mind was smothered in a lust-filled haze. I wanted him. I needed him.

Jin suddenly shoved me backward, and I fell on the couch behind me with a loud “Ooomf!”

Before I could question him, he loomed over me, eyes swirling with dark clouds of desire. As slow as could be, Jin raised his arms. His gray, star-studded shirt followed suit, showing off the honey-toned skin of his stomach I’d been dying to get a taste of all night, and the strip of Balenciaga boxers. My mouth watered, forcing me to swallow. Finally, he tugged the shirt off, revealing his smooth, broad shoulders.

Jin stepped closer to the point where I could smell his musky cologne, the spiciness of the scent making my nostrils tingle. God, I wanted nothing but to taste that bare skin. I wanted nothing but to inhale buckets of that scent. Yet I didn’t dare touch him. Not until he gave me the go-ahead. I actually sat on my hands to keep myself from the temptation.

He chuckled a bit at my antics before tantalizingly undoing the button that sealed his jeans together. His fingers grasped the zipper, and I actually bit my lip to contain myself.

Jin took notice and dropped to his knees, pressing the pad of his thumb against my bottom lip and drawing it out from between my teeth. “What did I say about you biting your lip?” he murmured, his eyes emitting a dangerous aura.

“S-Sorry, Sir,” I stuttered. “I-It’s your job.”

“That’s right.”

He kissed me harshly, dominating my mouth with his, taking turns between shoving his tongue down my throat and taking my bottom lip between his lips and sucking. “You know,” he said, drawing back, leaving me panting. “Now that I think about it, I don’t think it’s fair that you get to see me before I get to see you.”

Jin snaked his hands around to my ass and tugged me to the edge of the couch, causing me to let out a yelp. He devoured my mouth once more, his hands rubbing up and down my thighs, getting closer and closer to my core until he reached my gray skirt and began to tug it and my panties off all at once. Jin drew back as he slid the fabric down my skin, his eyes following its movement until he reached my calves. I lifted my legs up, allowing him to slide the clothes over my feet and toss them away.

He then grasped both of my knees and forced my legs apart. Heat flooded my cheeks as he stared at my dripping core, fascinated. “Damn,” he murmured. “Such a pretty pussy… just begging to be fucked.”

I whimpered in response to his words, my exposed middle clenching around nothing. Jin let out a low groan when he saw that. “Want me that bad, huh?” he asked.

I nodded eagerly. “Want you so, so bad, Sir.”

Jin stood and undid his zipper, yanking his dark jeans down just enough to expose his hard member bulging from inside his boxers, the tip barely sticking out above the waistband, weeping pre-cum.

He drew closer, standing between my open legs. At long last, he finally freed his dick, tossing his pants and boxers away, and I gasped, my mouth falling open of its own accord. “That’s right, baby girl,” Jin growled. “Suck. But keep those hands underneath that pretty ass of yours.”

I immediately obeyed, sliding my hands underneath my thighs, before shoving the entire, long length of his cock inside my eager mouth. The velvety, soft skin of his member urged me to hollow out my cheeks and suck hard, bobbing my head up and down, earning me several loud gasps and moans from Jin. I got him to the point where his entire frame began to shudder from the pleasure. “Such a good girl,” he managed to gasp out. “No teasing at all… just went straight for it. My kind of girl.”

Encouraged by the praise, I sped up my pace, allowing his cock to hit the back of my throat and activate my gag reflex. I instinctively tried to press my legs together, wanting any sort of friction or relief, but Jin’s body stood in the way.

Jin groaned loudly, gratifying me through his pleasure. He wrapped my hair into his fist and guided me as I continued slurping and sucking around his huge member. “Hold still, baby,” he suddenly commanded. “I’m going to fuck your face.”

At his words, I braced myself and tried to contain myself at the same time. My entire system of nerves felt like they were on fire, tingles running up and down my spine at every moan he let out, flushing with a heat I only dreamed existed before now. “Squeeze my thigh when you need a break,” Jin said.

He suddenly thrust deeply down my throat, holding still there for just a second before pulling nearly all the way back out. He did that a couple more times before increasing his pace, ramming his cock in and out so rapidly I almost couldn’t keep up. I dug my nails into Jin’s thigh, trying to stay in control while staving off the downward spiral that was my own carnal indulgence.

Jin immediately stopped, pulling out of my mouth with a pop. “You okay?” he asked, concern lacing his voice, so different from the dominant growl he’d used earlier.

I coughed for a moment, wiping tears from my eyes. “Y-Yes,” I finally spluttered out. “Sorry, I wanted to keep going, I didn’t think, I just needed something to… something to…”

Jin’s eyes were soft as he pulled me upright, a knowing smile hovering over his perfect lips. “Something to hold on to?”

I nodded, looking down in embarrassment.

He lifted my gaze to his with a gentle finger underneath my chin. “Do you want to keep going?”

I nodded eagerly. His dark eyes smoldered, lust filling them, his smile changing into a smirk. I was going to get whiplash from the duality of this man. Jin suddenly scooped me up, causing me to shriek in surprise, before carrying me to his bedroom and tossing me on the bed. “Come here,” he growled.

I obeyed, scooting towards him. Jin peeled my top off, grunting in appreciation when he saw the lacy black bra underneath. “Were you expecting this to happen?” he asked, amusement lacing his voice.

I shrugged. “Not really. I just… like to feel pretty in all aspects when I go to a party.”

“I see,” he murmured, leaning down and undoing the clasps of my bra, sliding the straps down off my shoulders and tossing the bit of fabric somewhere behind him. He crawled on the bed on top of me, nudging my thighs apart. He leaned back, only for a moment, sliding a condom on his hard, huge length. I swallowed hard at the sight.

Jin let out a low chuckle before grabbing me and flipping me onto my front. “God, this ass,” he groaned, spreading my cheeks apart.

He rubbed the pad of his middle finger up and down my length. “So fucking wet still. That’s my good girl.”

I moaned at his words, soaking up his praise. Jin leaned over me, his chest pressing against my back, before prodding me open with his tip. He was enormous, but I knew I could take it. I wanted to take it more than anything at that moment. Inch by inch, he slid inside me, the pressure on my slick walls so phenomenal I could hardly stand it. He bottomed out then slowly slid back until he was nearly all the way out again, then pumped back in. His pace increased as we both adjusted, crescendoing faster and faster until slapping sounds filled the air. I pressed my face into his comforter, moaning loudly as he pounded me into the bed like nothing else mattered. Grunts, growls, and the occasional, “Oh god, you feel so good,” came from behind me as Jin continued ruining me beyond belief.

The building pleasure I felt was unreal. It felt so good, I couldn’t think, I couldn’t open my eyes, hell, I could barely breathe. I could feel my pelvis muscles tightening, a chord in me about to snap.

“Fuck!” Jin cried out, suddenly pulling out of me. My legs trembled as the cold air hit my insides.

“Come here,” he growled, flipping me back over. “I need to see that pretty face as I make you come undone.”

He kissed me harshly, twirling his tongue around mine, groaning loudly as he pressed back inside of me. He went frustratingly slower this time, prolonging both our orgasms, instead choosing to focus on biting and sucking the skin around my neck and breasts, leaving a trail of purple blossoms all over.

Jin pulled back suddenly, sweat making the ends of his hair wet, his lust-filled eyes and parted mouth making me flush with a new wave of heat. “I’m going to fuck you until you scream,” he murmured.

I audibly gasped as he pumped in and out of me at a lightning-fast tempo, the smell of our juices permeating the air as they began to mix. It was all I could do to moan and feel his delicious length hitting all the right spots. “Gonna cum for me, baby girl?” Jin panted. “Gonna cum so hard around my dick?”

I fucking lost it. All my muscles tightened at once, a gasp coming at the end of each loud moan as I struggled for air, my orgasm washing over me like a thousand-foot tidal wave. “Fuck!” I cried out as I hit the peak of my pleasure.

Jin slowed down a little, prolonging my orgasm, relishing in the way I tightened and released around him. “Damn,” he grunted. “You’re pussy is so fucking good, so fucking tight. I could fuck it all night long.”

“Do it,” I groaned.

His pace picked up once more, my moans coming out as loud whimpers. I almost wanted to beg for him to stop, but at the same time, I wanted to beg him to keep going forever and ever. Jin’s hips snapped into mine, and he only paused for a second to pin my legs backward, his shoulder muscles popping from the tension. “God, I’m gonna cum,” he huffed, pounding me faster.

His pleasure was my pleasure. I moaned loudly as my muscles clenched together once more, another orgasm hitting me just as he let out a loud growl, pressing his twitching length inside me as he came.

“Fuuuuuck,” Jin groaned, his member pulsating inside of me as spurt after spurt of cum wrecked the inside of the condom. He finally stilled, both of us panting hard. Jin slid a hand around the back of my neck and kissed me deeply, slowly, sensually, like he wanted to taste and feel every bit of my lips with his, so different from his rough kisses from before.

I couldn’t wipe the smile from my face as I kissed him back. He felt so good, so amazing. I didn’t want this to end.

Jin pulled away, his eyes taking a tad longer to open than usual. “You can stay over,” he murmured.

I bit my bottom lip, trying to contain my glee over having a few more hours with him.

Jin’s gaze darkened as he once again gently pressed a finger to my bottom lip, drawing it out from between my teeth. “Y/n… What did I say about biting that lip?”

And Then He Was Gray (Jin One-Shot, Smut, Fluff) Part Six (End)

My eyelids fluttered as my consciousness stirred, but I buried my face back into the pillow, not wanting to wake up. If I woke up, it would be morning, and I’d have to go home, and my amazing one-night stand would be over, becoming nothing but a bunch of memories I’d only be able to take out late at night when I was alone.

I reached a hand out, feeling beside me where Jin had lain, his strong arms wrapped around me as we finally drifted off to sleep for the last time. After the first time, despite a heavy makeout session and him promising to fuck me into oblivion again, we decided we were both too exhausted to go another round. Jin sweetly took care of me, grabbing a wet washcloth and wiping me down with it, tenderly kissing every inch of my body as he did so. “Did so well,” he muttered between kisses. “So good. My good girl.”

I sleepily preened at the praise, smiling and letting out content sighs as he cleaned me up. He got us both large glasses of water, watching to make sure I gulped mine all the way down before snuggling up against me in bed and wrapping me in his arms. The heat emanating from his skin alongside his heartbeat lulled me almost to sleep when Jin’s voice broke the silence. “Y/n.”

“Mmmm?”

“That was… mind-blowing.”

I hummed in agreement, my eyes still closed, snuggling deeper into his chest.

“I just wanted to ask before we fell asleep… if I get horny again, do I have your consent to wake you up by eating you out?”

My eyes shot open, heat flooding to my core at the thought. “God, yes,” I sighed.

I could feel Jin’s smile as he kissed my cheek. “Good. Because if I’m sleeping next to you, it’s almost a guarantee I’m gonna wanna fuck again.”

And fuck again we did. Jin only let me have a couple hours sleep before I woke up with his head between my thighs, slurping down my juices as his tongue penetrated my core and swirled around my clit. I came twice again, once from him eating me out, then again as we fucked once more, this time more slow and sensual as we were both still a bit drowsy.

After a couple more hours of sleep, I woke up to Jin fingering me, the pads of his ring and middle fingers drawing circles on my clit as his hot breath warmed my neck from behind. I reached over and wrapped my fingers around his lengthy shaft, pumping up and down until we mutually orgasmed once more.

I smiled, the memories from last night leaving warmth flowing through me, and finally opened my eyes. It had to be at least mid-day, if not later. The sun was lighting up the room, even through Jin’s dark curtains, and the day felt like it was already mostly over. Jin was nowhere to be seen. I glanced around, my gaze landing on a folded t-shirt with a glass of water next to it. I gulped it down, so thirsty after all of last night’s antics, then put on the t-shirt, which fell to my thighs.

I cautiously opened the bedroom door and padded down the hall into the kitchen, from where a delicious smell was wafting throughout the apartment. “Hey,” Jin said. His upper half was bare, and he wore gray sweatpants that fell loosely around his hips. I wet my lips at the sight of Balenciaga boxers peeking out above the waistline.

“Hi,” I replied, a bit breathless.

“Did you sleep well?”

I hummed in response. Something was sizzling in the pan he held, and he dragged a spoon through it before blowing the steam away and holding it out to me. “Taste this.”

I stepped close and obliged, the warm smell coming from the pan enticing my senses. I chewed and swallowed. “Wow, that is really good,” I said.

Jin shot me a smile. “Good. Sit down, I’ll make you a plate.”

He set the food-filled plate in front of me, along with a pair of chopsticks. “Thanks,” I murmured.

“Oh, here’s your phone. I charged it for you, and your clothes will be out of the dryer in a few minutes.”

I blinked. He washed my clothes? Jin seemed to be almost too considerate… Almost like he’d practiced this routine a million other times, with a million other girls. That depressing thought led me to turn on my phone, eager to distract myself from my perpetual loneliness.

Soyeon had called me three times, and texted me twice as many times.

And Then He Was Gray (Part Six, End)

I quickly tapped out a message back to her.

And Then He Was Gray (Part Six, End)

I lay my phone face down on the table. It buzzed a few times, no doubt Soyeon freaking out about the fact I was at Jin’s place, but I ignored it. “Everything okay?” Jin asked.

“Yeah, fine. Just Soyeon checking in on me.”

Jin was wiping his hands on a dish towel, staring intently down at me. The sight of his bare honey-toned torso and taut muscles was almost too much to look at. I couldn’t believe how handsome he was, and even more unbelievable was the fact we’d had such an incredible night together… But with every high comes just as deep of a low. How is it that I’d gotten laid but I felt more single today then I did last night?

I quickly finished eating and went to grab my clothes, changing as fast as I could and grabbing my purse. “Erm,” I said, causing Jin to look up from cleaning up the kitchen. “I’m going to call a cab. Thanks for… Well, thanks for everything.”

Jin’s brow furrowed. “Wait a sec, I can give you a ride.”

I smiled weakly. “There’s no need. I can get home on my own. I’ll just wait on the curb.”

He crossed the room, confusion in his eyes. “Hold on now, no need to rush. I wanted to spend more time with you.”

Now it was my turn to be confused. “You wanted… what?”

Jin stepped close, caressing my cheek with a long finger. “Why are you always running away from me?”

“I’m not,” I retorted, stepping out of his reach. “I’m just trying to give you an out so you don’t have to feel bad.”

“Why would I need an out?”

I glanced awkwardly to the side. “Because… Well, because… This is just a one-night stand, isn’t it? I mean, that’s what you do with girls?”

Jin scoffed. “Seriously? You’re still on about that?”

“Well, yeah. Look, Soyeon told me━”

“I don’t care what Soyeon told you. Yeah, there have been other girls. You’re telling me there haven’t been other guys?”

I stayed silent. Clearly, after last night, I was no virgin, but I wasn’t a player either. “I just wanted to be clear with our expectations,” I muttered, turning away.

I had my hand on the door handle when Jin placed his large one over it. “Tell me, right now,” he said earnestly. “Be honest. Do you want this to only be a one-night stand? Or would you like it if something more came out of it?”

My mouth parted in surprise as I looked back at him. “Be honest,” Jin repeated, his gaze eager. “Because I’ll be honest with you. I have been with other girls, yes, a lot of other girls by some standards. I’ve always been straight with them, telling them they were just a means to satisfy me for the night, but none of them could even do that much. None of them were what I needed.”

I slowly turned back around as he spoke, letting him get closer and closer with each word. Jin placed his hands on either side of me, effectively pinning me with my back to the door. “I need you,” he said, passion dripping from his voice. “I need everything about you. I told you, from the second I laid eyes on you, I knew you were going to be perfect for me.”

I pressed my lips together. “Yeah, but sexual compatibility does not make a relationship,” I said. “No matter how amazing.”

Jin blew out a frustrated exhale, shaking his head. “You still don’t get it. I want to date you, Y/n. Will you go out with me?”

I blinked. Was he… serious? I mean, we did have some things in common. We both liked to cook, we had similar friends… and we were fantastic in bed together. Maybe this could work. Maybe I could have someone of my own, finally, someone to go to parties with, someone to share all my secrets with, someone to love.

“Y-Yeah,” I finally stuttered out. “I’ll go out with you.”

Jin let out the breath he’d been holding, sliding his palm up towards my jaw, angling it upward. He captured my lips with his in the sweetest kiss, drawing me up on my tiptoes, causing me to wrap my arms around his neck. He drew back, and I kept my eyes closed for a moment longer, wishing for more.

“Come on,” Jin said, his gaze darkening as he tugged me by the hand back towards the bedroom. “I’ve got the whole day off, and I know exactly what… or should I say, who… I want to do.”

Smiling, I let him lead me into the kind of bliss that, until that moment, I’d only dreamed I’d be able to have.

Soulmate + Idol AU

[Everybody has a black mark on their body where their soulmate will touch them for the first time. When your soulmate touches you both your marks burst into different colors. Only one problem, your soulmate hates you]

Warning: I wrote this oneshot a while ago and it's all published without editing any of it, so the plot, writing etc is trash and I absolutely hate all of it. Read at your own risk.

Your Touch//KSJ (1/4)

You walked off of stage, the cheers of your fans echoing in your ears. You were happy, insanely happy. That had been one of your best performances yet. Surely it couldn't get any better than this!

During the performance your sleeve had slipped down and shown your black soulmate mark on your forearm. The last time it had shown, you had been faced with hate and slurs, but this time you swore you heard them cheer even harder.

You were one of the idols who knew their worth. You knew nobody could force you to hide your soulmate mark. Nobody could force you to change yourself or do something you didn't want to.

You interacted with fans a lot, and saw all that the haters were saying about you, but you didn't care. They could say whatever they wanted. But at the end of the day, you were still human after all...

"I'm gonna go get some snacks," you said to your members as you all arrived backstage and flopped onto some sofas. "Anyone want some?"

After a few shouts and requests you turned away and walked round a corner to where you knew the snack table was. Well, you thought you knew...

You ended up near some broom closet. You could hear voices nearby, so you continued walking and saw a group of boys huddled in a corner, whispering.

They weren't just any boys, they were BTS!! You heaved a sigh of relief and started walking towards them. You were on pretty good terms with all of them, but you were really good friends with Taehyung. Maybe they knew where the snack table was in this maze.

But one of them said something which made you stop in your tracks. You ran back round the corner and pressed your back against the wall. You knew you shouldn't be listening to their conversation but...

"Listen to me," you heard one of them say. "I... I hate Y/n. I hate that bitch with my whole life."

Your breath stopped short and you gripped the hem of your black shirt, twisting it round and round in your hands.

"What!?"

"No, I just hate her! I mean, come on! She's so fucking annoying! And-"

"Seokjin, don't-"

"NO, no, listen to me. You can be friends with her and shit, I honestly don't care. Just don't force me to be around her. I don't want to see her. She's so-"

"SEOKJIN!! We get it!! Just- not here. Someone might hear."

You closed your eyes and grabbed your dark purple highlights, entangling your fingers in your hair. You grit your teeth and clenched your jaw in a weak attempt to stop yourself from crying.

Sucking in sharply, you gathered yourself and looked back up. You didn't want anyone to see you break down.

Why did it affect you so much? You couldn't understand, you had received hate so many times before, why were you about to cry now of all times?? It felt like someone had wrapped their icy fingers around your heart and was crushing it slowly. It hurt. It physically hurt you.

But why? Fine, Seokjin didn't like you- hated you- so what? It wasn't like you could do anything about it.

You heard footsteps coming towards you, so you immediately started walking away. The guys wouldn't stay huddled in that corner forever, and you didn't want them to see you had been eavesdropping on them.

You heard Taehyung lightly call your name but you kept walking, acting like you hadn't heard anything. Hopefully he would think you were just some staff member, or some other idol.

You reached your members and and just stood there, not knowing what to do.

"You couldn't find the snack table?" Moon asked, brushing her blue hair aside.

"Yeah," you laughed, "This place is like a maze."

/You sat down beside Yen, who was laying down on the sofa, her blonde hair spreading out on the seat. You moved her hair away and brought your legs up to your chest, tucking them under your chin. You wrapped your arms around your knees, hugging them close to you.

"Are you feeling okay?" Keun asked you, frowning a bit. "If it's about the stage, you did great, you idiot. You don't have to be such a perfectionist all the time."

You gave her a weak smile and nodded. What else were you supposed to do?

You had all arrived at the dorms a few hours ago. It was way past midnight now, and you were the only one awake.

You were in the bottom bunk. Bamie's jet black hair hung over the side of the top bed like something out of a horror movie. You were on your phone, scrolling through the messages you got on Instagram.

You chatted to your fans a lot on Insta. It was fun having conversations with them.

You clicked on a random chat that somebody had sent a couple of seconds ago and accepted it.

Jiiiyo93: Hi

[You have accepted Jiiiyo93s request]

You: Hi!!

You: Isn't it a little late to be up? ㅋㅋ

Jiiiyo93: But you're up??

You: True... ㅠㅠ

Jiiiyo93: Can we speed this up? I wanted to talk to you about something

You: Oh, ok! What do you want to say? :D

Jiiiyo93: Bitch

Jiiiyo93: Why haven't you left Echo yet?

Jiiiyo93: You're bringing them down

Jiiiyo93: They could be so much more without you

You: ...I'm sorry

Jiiiyo93: That's it???

Jiiiyo93: You should be more than fucking sorry for trying to steal my soulmate

Jiiiyo93: He'll never love you

You: I don't know what you're talking about?

You: I haven't even met my soulmate yet

Jiiiyo93: Isn't it obvious who it is?!??

Jiiiyo93: You really are as dumb as you look

You: I don't know what you're talking about

You: And if he's my soulmate then aren't you the one trying to steal him?

Jiiiyo93: Don't act clever with me

Jiiiyo93: Literally everyone knows who it is

Jiiiyo93: You should go kill yourself

Jiiiyo93: You're so fucking annoying. Every time I hear your voice I want to rip my ears out and your looks?? Don't even get me fucking started on what an eyesore you are

Jiiiyo93: I bet your soulmate hates you

You: I know...

You: I'm sorry

[Jiiiyo3 has ended the conversation]

Your hands were shaking as you put down the phone. 'I bet your soulmate hates you.'

'I bet your soulmate hates you'

No, it couldn't be...

It felt like someone had taken a hold of your heart and was choking it, your breath hitched as you thought about him.

You grabbed your phone again and opened up your browser. With shaking fingers you searched [Who is Y/n's soulmate?]

It couldn't be. It couldn't be it couldn't be it couldn't be.

You knew for a fact that the Internet had some of the best sleuths. You had experienced that first hand after somebody had figured out where your soulmate mark was.

There were tons of questions and answers about this. You were actually kind of surprised...

You clicked on a link and started to go through the answers.

[Answered by Kyuni28]

Honestly? I think her soulmate is Seokjin. It makes sense, just listen to me.

Soulmates have some chemistry and their personalities are usually similar, and if they aren't they're based in a way that it'd be easy for them to get along.

Seokjin is a fun person who knows how to joke around and make you smile

Y/n is someone who is comfortable to be around, and you automatically want to be friends with

Y/n has mentioned before she CRAVES hugs and physical affection

Seokjin has said he wouldn't mind being physically affectionate with his soulmate

Soulmates usually have some similarities aswell. For example:

They're both fun, protective, caring people who hate getting into fights and if they love someone they'll protect them with their whole heart.

There's so much more I could put here, but the answer would be too long so I'll finish off with one more thing.

Have you seen their soulmate marks? It's like they're meant to be together!!

Y/n has one on her forearm which kind of looks like the shadow of a hand. Seokjin's is on his hand!! And if you look closely at Y/n's, it looks like the imprint of someone grabbing her arm. And if you look at Seokjin's it's kind of bent, if you get what I'm saying. Curved?? Like he's going to grab his soulmate by the arm or something.

You stopped reading. This... couldn't be true!! It just... it couldn't be! What would one person on the Internet know, right?

You scrolled through some more answers and each of them said the same thing, each of them giving more convincing arguments than the last.

You went back to the search bar and started typing again.

[What happens if your soulmate hates you?]

You couldn't find an exact answer to what you were looking for, but you found something similar.

Soulmates tend to be a lot more emotional with each other, for instance, when they fight. If someone says "I hate you", any normal person would obviously feel sad, but for Soulmates it'll feek as if their heart is being ripped apart, or at the very least they'll feel a sort of physical pain in their heart.

"No..." you whispered as tears rolled down your cheeks. You shook your head and wiped them away. "It can't be..."

You threw your head back on your pillow and tried to remember if you two had ever touched. Surely you must have brushed hands... bumped arms?

But the more you thought about it, the more you realized they may be right. You two had actually gotten along before, but what had happened? Had you done something wrong? Why did he hate you?

You cried yourself to sleep that night. All you had wanted was a soulmate, a lover, who would love you as much as you loved them. And now you couldn't even have that.

Jihye looked at her phone screen.

[You have ended the conversation with <Y/n>]

She smirked and turned it off. She hadn't thought Y/n would actually reply to her.

Her doorbell rung and she jumped up off of the bed. She ran towards the door and threw it open to reveal a man standing there. His face was covered with a mask and a cap pulled down low.

She pulled him inside and flung her arms around his broad shoulders, hugging him tight. He laughed and pulled her closer.

Jihye pulled his mask down and kissed his cheek.

"Why did you ask me to come in the middle of the night?" He asked.

"I missed you, Jinnie! Can't I call you whenever I want?" She pouted.

"I can't stay here long, I think Dispatch are onto us." He whispered.

"I won't keep you here long," she whispered back. "Now let's go have some fun."

She took his hat off and pulled him towards her room.

They fell asleep in each others arms.

Keun shook you awake, her short brown hair brushing over her face.

"Wake up, you idiot! Bamie, help me!!"

Normally you were a very light sleeper and got up as soon as someone called your name, but today you just wanted to curl up in bed and stay there.

"GET UP!!" Bamie shouted, hitting you with a book. "YOU'RE AN MC YOU IDIOT!! YOU HAVE TO ARRIVE THERE EARLY!!"

MC? Oh no...

You jumped out of bed, stumbling over your feet. You couldn't be late for this. You ran towards your closet and picked out some hoodie and jeans. You threw them on and hopped around trying to shove your shoes on. You could change into your other clothes in the changing room over there.

"Finally!!" Keun shouted at you.

You had no time to respond and instead ran out of your dorms to a black car waiting for you with Moon inside.

"I'm sorry!!" You wheezed as you sat inside. You pulled a cap low over your face and put on a black mask. Moon shook her head and sighed.

The car started moving and you slumped back in the seat. Hopefully you'd get there on time.

You had arrived just in the nick of time.

Your stylist had given you some clothes, not a dress but some black jeans with some shirt fit for an idol. You also had a long leather jacket, extra wide at the bottom where it reached your ankles. You didn't pay attention to the finer details like you usually did, all you could think about was getting your lines right.

The stylist had somehow managed to tame your messy hair. It was less purple than before, but the mix of black and purple didn't necessarily look bad.

Everything had gone smoothly, and nobody could tell you had just woken up a few minutes before coming here.

As the camera stopped recording you stretched your arms out and yawned. You really should've gone to sleep earlier.

It was only now that you weren't half asleep anymore you realized who you were MC'ing with. Jihoon and... Seokjin.

You all walked backstage. You rubbed your eyes and blinked a couple of times, your eyes watering.

Jihoon followed his manager into another room, and you were left in the room with Seokjin. You couldn't help but wonder if Seokjin knew that you two might be soulmates.

'Of course he doesn't you idiot! What does the internet know anyway? You're being stupid.'

Looking up, you noticed him looking down at you with a certain snarl on his face. You looked away and shook your head, trying to act as if you hadn't seen anything.

You walked towards your changing room. Thumping down in a chair, you took out your phone. One of your members would be picking you up, but they might take a while. You opened your Twitter and started scrolling.

Usually your feed was full of posts about your group, and it wasn't uncommon for there to be posts about other idols. You, being a huge fangirl, liked as many of them as possible.

This day was no different, but with one exception. It seemed your hate accounts were a lot more active recently. As you scrolled your brows became more and more furrowed. There were all these posts pointing out all your flaws and asking you to leave the group.

One post had a link on it. Being the usual curious person you are, you clicked on it. Your screen was immediately filled with pictures of red slashes drawn across your face, death threats and petitions for you to leave the group littered here and there. All around your pictures there were extremely realistic drawings and pictures of you choking or being killed. Someone had taken the time to draw these... they had hated you so much they spent their time and effort to make these. If someone would spend that much time doing something against you then you must really be doing something wrong. For people to hate you this badly...

You swallowed the bile rising in your mouth and turned away, stuffing your phone back into your pocket. You shook your head, almost violently, trying to get those pictures out of your head. You couldn't let them get to you. You used to avidly respond to the haters, commenting on their posts, but today you couldn't bring yourself to do it.

You heard the door open and looked up. Moon stood in the doorway with Yen.

"Ready?" Moon asked. You nodded and stood up, brushing yourself slightly, though you had no dust on yourself.

You walked out with them and got into your car. Yen stuck to you like bubblegum, rambling about what a great MC you were. You could honestly see how much of a better Maknae she would be. It was kind of weird that you were a year younger than her.

But even she couldn't take your mind over that post for long. Your mind kept drifting to those few lines you had seen: 'Don't you wish she would just jump off a bridge or something. If she just killed herself nobody would have to deal with her again, imagine how relieved her soulmate would be.'

You didn't want to agree with them. You didn't, you didn't, you didn't.

But you did.

Weeks passed

Months passed

Things had gotten worse. Much worse.

Echo was going to hold a concert, but you had overworked yourself. You practiced more than all your members combined. You were more strict on yourself, more harsh.

The result? A broken ankle.

You could mostly walk fine, but you weren't allowed to dance for a while. You had to go through the concerts sitting down on a chair and singing while your members danced around you. After every concert you would cry alone in the changing room.

Sometimes when you would walk or try to stand up, your ankle would collapse under you. Every single time you got more and more frustrated with yourself.

If anyone asked, you would say you were fine. You were okay. You'd get through it like you always did. Being a burden. Stopping everything from going smoothly. Just ruining everything.

You weren't really the same, but your fans didn't seem to notice. Or at least that was what you thought.

Your thoughts grew darker. Whenever you opened any app your eyes skimmed past the positive posts straight to the negative ones. They were all you saw.

From your point of view you were improving yourself by listening to what they had to say, fixing your flaws.

From a realistic point of view you were destroying yourself. You were breaking yourself more than the haters could ever have done.

The soulmate thing hit you even harder. You had always thought that as long as you got through it one day you'd have someone who truly loved you and support you, contrary to what those haters said, but your dreams had been shattered.

You loved your members, you truly did. But that was the problem. You thought if you erased yourself it would be better for the group, that they would have a happier life without you to drag them down by ruining their performances, their songs, just being a burden.

Of course, you never told any of them this. You didn't want to annoy them any further, but in the end that may have been the reason for your downfall.

You were one of the hosts on a variety show where lots of idols would come and you would hold conversations with them.

One day when the cameras stopped rolling and everyone dispersed, you opened your phone. You went on your messages and all you could see as you scrolled down were messages sent by haters. They weren't the normal messages asking you to leave the group, no, these were asking you to kill yourself.

You poked your cheek with your tongue, deep in thought. You went to your feed and saw the same thing.

It wasn't a secret that you were one of the most hated idols, but nobody actually knew how much hate you got.

You looked around. All the staff had gone home, all the idols had gone too. You had told your members you would be going home yourself today, but you were starting to change your mind.

You didn't have to go home today. You didn't have to deal with any of this anymore. You would just do one thing, and all of this would end.

You stood up and stashed your phone into the pocket of your hoodie. Spying some stairs around a corner, you realized the studio was on the top floor, right below the roof.

You ran up the stairs, impatient to get this over with. You drew back the bolt on the door and shoved it open with your shoulder. As you stepped outside you were hit with a rush of cold air. Even so, you took your hoodie off with your phone inside. If anyone found it, they would find the messages you had been looking at and understand.

You stood there at the edge of the roof in you T-shirt, shivering. Did you really want to do this?

"YES!!" your mind screamed. You had to do it before you changed your mind. It was now or never. You were doing this for your group and your fans. It was fine, you told yourself. Everything was fine.

Your breath shook and tears started rolling down. With one last look at the sky, you jumped.

Your Touch//KSJ (2/4)

Seokjin walked out of the bathroom. He knew he should head back to the dorms quickly because it was getting late.

He shivered as a soft breeze drifted past him. But he was still inside the studio where they had shot the show, so where was the breeze coming from?

He looked at the stairs and frowned. Someone must have left the door open. Since he was the only one left he would have to close it now. He groaned and ran up the stairs two at a time, thinking he should get this over with quickly.

As he got to the door he gripped the handle and started closing it, but on the roof there lay a hoodie, thrown away carelessly. He frowned, he recognized it from somewhere.

He walked out and saw a girl standing on the edge of the roof. He watched in horror as she took her feet off the ground and jumped.

"NO!!" He heard himself scream.

He ran forward. She twisted around when she heard his footsteps. Her eyes widened as he reached out to grab her arm. He let out a small shout when he saw who she was. Y/n.

And he was going to touch her soulmate mark.

Time really seemed to slow down as he reached out for her, the black part of his hand coming so close to touching that black mark on her forearm. A sudden realization hit him. It hit hard. They were soulmates

You didn't know what you were doing. In a sudden reflex you twisted your arm away from him and he grabbed your wrist instead. He pulled you back, but you screamed and he let go. You landed sprawled on the roof next to his feet, clutching your wrist. Tears came out hot and fast as you closed your eyes.

Seokjin didn't understand. He was sure you two were soulmates. He had felt it. He had felt it. Right before he touched you it felt as if his heart had burst, there was no way you two weren't soulmates.

But then why had he touched your wrist instead? Were you not-

You let out a muffled sob and only now did he look down. Blood was running down your arm, thick and fast. You were clutching your wrist where he had touched you.

Seokjin tried to control the panic rising inside of him. He crouched down next to you, but he didn't know what to do. He had no idea where the blood had come from, but the least he could do was help.

He tried to touch your arm, but no sooner had his fingertips brushed your skin, cuts started forming where his skin had touched just seconds ago. You recoiled away from him, desperately trying to stop the flow of blood.

Seokjin was confused. He knew that when soulmates first touched each other, their marks sprouted into different colors, but this? Cuts appearing whenever he touched you? This wasn't normal.

He knew there was a med kit in the closet downstairs. He could help stop the bleeding and patch you up, he just needed to get you down there first.

He shook his sleeves and stretched them over his hands. He tapped you on the shoulder and looked you in the eyes.

"You need to go downstairs," he said softly, "There's a med kit and I can help stop the bleeding. You need to calm down, okay? It'll be alright."

You wiped away your tears furiously with your other arm. You nodded and he pulled his sleeves further over his hands so he wouldn't touch your skin. Then he lightly grabbed your arm to help you up.

As soon as you stood up your ankle collapsed under you and you fell. Seokjin caught you in his arms, his sleeves stopping your skin from touching.

"Your ankle..." he whispered. "I'll help you-"

"I'm fine." You muttered through gritted teeth. You wrenched yourself out of his grip and grabbed your hoodie with your phone inside. You steadied yourself and walked down the stairs. Unknown to you Seokjin was behind you with an arm extended, ready to catch you in case you fell.

You heard him lock the door and continued walking, wiping away your tears even more viciously than before. You muffled the sobs that threatened to come out and tried to pretend your wrist didn't hurt as much as it really did.

Seokjin opened the closet and took out the med kit while you washed all the blood off of your arm. You looked in the mirror and realized in your haste you had wiped your tears with your bloody arm. There was blood smeared across your nose, and your eyes were puffed up. Wisps of hair fell across your face, covering your eyes. You looked pathetic.

The cuts on your arm where Seokjin had touched you stung. Only you knew why this was happening. You had heard about it before but didn't know if it was true. It made you cry even harder. You two really were soulmates, but you had fucked up. You had fucked up bad.

You walked out of the bathroom with a less bloody face and (hopefully) less puffed up eyes. Seokjin lightly gripped your arm, making you flinch away.

"It's okay," He said, "I have gloves on. You won't get hurt."

He showed you the blue gloves covering his hands and you gingerly put your arm forward, letting him touch it with the gloves on.

You two sat down and he started cleaning up the cuts. He sucked in a sharp breath when he saw the ones on your wrist.

"They're deep," he told you as you sat there awkwardly. "I'll do as much as I can now but it's better if you get them checked by an actual doctor later, or at least your manager."

You nodded and looked away. A few days ago he had been looking at you with disgust, and here he was helping you. It confused you and made you more nervous than it should've done.

When he finished you got up straight away and started walking, but he stopped you, blocking your way.

"Wait, you're just gonna leave?" He asked.

"Well, that was my plan, yes," you mumbled.

"But..."

He was going to ask you about what happened on the rooftop, wasn't he? About why you had tried to-

You didn't want to talk about that. You looked down and held your arm, hoping he would just let you go.

He shook his head, it seemed he changed his mind last minute.

"What about this?" He asked, showing his soulmate mark on his hand. "Are we soulmates or not?"

"We are."

"Then how come whenever I touch you you get cut!? And our marks- look at them! They haven't changed, and how can we be soulmates if I touched your wrist, not your mark-?"

"I can't explain everything tonight." You kept your gaze on the floor, trying to stop yourself from sobbing. "I'll explain tomorrow, just... let me go home."

He looked like he wanted to say something else, but stopped himself. He moved out of your way and let you walk past.

"Wait!" He called after you, turning around. "How are you going to get home?"

You froze. You hadn't thought about that. At first you were going to get a taxi, but it was so late you weren't sure if it was safe to get one anymore.

"I can drop you," you heard him mutter.

You honestly had no other choice. You nodded and he guided you towards his car.

Once you reached your dorms you nodded a small thanks and walked away quickly, pulling your hoodie low over your face.

As you had expected, your members crowded around you, asking what had taken so long. You made excuses, like you always did. Saying you had got caught up talking to a friend, they had dropped you off.

They somewhat believed you, and you were finally allowed to go back to your room (you guys had since removed the bunk beds and you all had your own rooms).

You couldn't sleep that night. You kept picking at the bandages on your wrist.

As you lay there looking up at the ceiling, you realized you were glad he had stopped you. You thought about your members faces when you returned home so late. They cared. Even if no one else did, they cared.

Your friends, your family, how would they react if they knew what you had tried to do tonight? If you couldn't stay for yourself... surely you could stay for them?

You stood up and walked out of your room, into one of your Moon's room. She didn't ask too many questions, and you didn't want to explain right now.

"Moon?" You whispered, cracking the door open.

"Hm?" She grunted sleepily.

"Can I sleep with you?"

"Nightmare?"

"Something like that."

You saw her nod in the darkness, and jumped onto her bed. This wasn't unusual for you, since you were the maknae. You had slept with the many times before when you had recurring nightmares, it was just that tonight was different.

masterlist     series masterlist

the first time you saw jin, it was at 4 am in the ‘24/7’ library you liked to go to. he was sitting all alone at a circular table, staring intensely at the books in front of him, his eyebrows had scrunched up and his lips were caught in between his teeth in concentration. he only strayed his eyes away from them to see you enter the room. blinking owlishly, he gives you a one over, curiously but then returns back to studying, seemingly not paying anymore mind to you.

you set your books in a table far away from his, and sat down in a huff. you don’t like being around people and even if this man is pretty, prettier than you’d like to admit, he still was no exception and you snort when you see all the sticky notes and highlighters he has out on the table.

what a dork.

you don’t give him too much thought either, instead opening up your books and getting lost in them, immediately taking down notes and groaning in frustration every now and then.

you were so lost in finishing your assignment that you don’t notice his gaze linger on you after he deemed it was safe to do so without getting caught by you. and he continues to do so because you don’t bother to lift your head to look at anyone and jin tilts his head as he plays with one of his highlighters while still looking at you.

did you have different textbooks?

because what could be so interesting that you haven’t looked up for the past hour?

jin shakes his head at himself when he realizes he’s been staring at a stranger like a creep for an hour now. he’s got his own papers to finish so he pats his cheeks roughly, mumbling an apology when the clapping sound makes people look at him with an annoyed expression and starts working again.

he feels slightly bashful because he broke one of the rules of midnight libraries which was no sound, absolutely no sound, not even your steps should make a sound. if libraries are quiet in the morning, they should be as quiet as a graveyard at night.

and the next time he looks up from his books, you aren’t there anymore.

this happens a couple of times throughout the days he sees you, he will see you walk in and settle with your books and even he’s checking every ten minutes to see if you’re there or not, you still manage to vanish into thin air when he doesn’t notice.

jin thinks you’re a ghost.

because he can’t understand how you move so quickly and quietly, even when he sees you in the library the next week, he’s startled because one minute he’s happily using his lime-colored highlighter on text that doesn’t need highlighting only to casually look up and seeing you in your usual spot.

and jin is so surprised that he almost falls out of his chair when you give him a side glance. he’s almost tempted to touch your cardigan to see if you’re even real or not because no one else acknowledges you except him. like literally everyone acts like you’re invisible or you actually are invisible and he just doesn’t know.

there’s a reason why no one acknowledges you but jin doesn’t know that.

you see, jin doesn’t think a lot before doing something and now the mystery of whether he’s discovered a ghost or not is greater than any future embarrassment he might feel.

he strides over to you and slightly pulls on your cardigan, and yes, he feels the fabric, you look pretty normal up close, you don’t have full black eyes or whatever shit ghosts have going on, and he heaves in relief.

“so, you’re real, thank god” it’s only after he mumbles those words, he realizes his blunder because insinuating that you thought someone (someone you’re attracted to) was a ghost wasn’t the greatest way to flirt and he definitely knows his answer if he decides to ask you out because you’re glaring at him so hard, he wants to run away.

yep, his answer would be a big fat no.

before he can apologize or explain why he thought you were a ghost or why he pulled on your cardigan, you shove past him with your books held tightly against your chest and leave but not without whispering curses at him the entire time.

jin fucked up, he knows he did and he couldn’t help but think how stupid he was to just randomly walk up to you, still a complete stranger and pull on your cardigan, jin also couldn’t help that you felt familiar to him, in a way he couldn’t explain.

so, the next time you walked into the library, he was about to come up to you and apologize but then he sees how you roll your eyes as soon as you spot him and even when he stands up to try and talk to you, you brush right past him with a scowl on your face.

jin doesn’t know what to do.

he doesn’t want to risk pissing you off even more but he knows that he has to apologize, but you do look like you are going to kill him if he comes near you. and his life is kind of precious to him.

nevertheless, with fumbling fingers and twitching lips, jin slowly walks to where you are and before he even opens his mouth to speak, you’re cutting him off.

“what, are you going to pull my cardigan again?” you snap at him and he quickly shakes his head, eyes shutting because he cannot believe he got himself into this situation.

“you aren’t wearing a cardigan today” he mumbled and winced immediately when you cocked an eyebrow at him.

what is the fucking deal with him when he is around you?

where is his ‘be respectful, not an asshole’ filter?

“don’t get smart with me” you practically growled, irritation sinking deeper into your skin and jin shamefully nodded.

he had that one coming.

“i just wanted to apologize, i didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable, i’m pretty sure it looked strange but my intention wasn’t that because the reason i even did it was- “he takes a deep sigh when he notices you sitting up straight, curious enough to want to know why he even pulled your cardigan instead of you know, saying hello like a normal person would.

“it was because i thought you were a ghost” he whispered, feeling the embarrassment settling deep in him as he explained and he snaps his eyes open to look at you when he hears your loud laugh. it gathers the attention of everyone else in the library but you don’t look like you care because you’re laughing so hard that your eyes have gathered tears.

jin doesn’t know why but he feels a certain warmth spread in his chest when he sees you looking so happy, even if it is because he embarrassed himself.

“why didn’t you just talk to me?” you said slightly breathlessly as you leaned back in your seat, a wide grin still on your face and jin felt himself smiling back at you.

“what if you were a ghost?” he retorted and you giggled again, jin was loving every minute of it. there’s nothing more ego boosting than someone you like finding you funny.

“strong point, can’t argue with that.” you lifted your hands in surrender and when you saw him laugh with his ears and cheeks all red, you knew you didn’t deserve whatever this handsome man had to offer.

you couldn’t get attached.

you didn’t deserve to be attached with anyone, especially not this guy who’s been making you laugh and forget about everything, even if it was for five minutes.

“okay, apology accepted, you can leave now.” you curtly nodded, voice devoid of any and all emotion and turned to open your books and jin was baffled because you looked so full of life not even a minute ago.

“you’re not even going to tell me your name?” and you don’t answer, instead staring down at your book even if your mind wasn’t grasping anything so jin shrugged to himself and left you alone even if he really wanted to stay and talk, or make you laugh more because you didn’t always look this happy, at least not in the times he’s seen you.

from then, jin didn’t bother you, of course he still looked your way whenever he could but he never went up to talk to you again and you couldn’t help but feel disappointed even if you were the one who pushed him away. a small solace for you was that you didn’t have to worry about getting attached anymore.

but jin is well, he’s jin and he’s hard to ignore.

so this time, you’re the one who looks up constantly with your pen caught in between your lips, you look up to see the handsome stranger across the room from you (you still don’t know his name) he doesn’t look too far from your age and you could only guess that you both went to the same university, you lean a little and squint your eyes to see any identification and sure enough he had a hoodie draped over the chair next to him and it had your university’s name on it.

how come you have never seen him around?

maybe he didn’t hang out near your block but you move around a lot so it’s puzzling that you have never noticed him before.

maybe he just had a tight circle of friends.

the next time you looked up, you saw him snoozing away with his book open in front of him. his precious highlighters are scattered around his head, he looked cute with his full lips and slightly flushed cheeks. absentmindedly, you gathered your books and sat down in the same table, still maintaining a good distance, not wanting to but looking over to see him every once in a while.

you giggled when his alarm rang and broke the silence in the very quiet, very empty library, so empty that it was only you and him, and a couple at the other end of the library but you were pretty sure they didn’t come here to study. jin snapped his eyes and hastily looked around to make sure no one caught him looking like a fool, only to meet your amused eyes.

and even if you didn’t want to, you started speaking.

“no loud noises in the library, don’t you know that?” you mused and pointed to the huge sign over your head which had the rule written on it in huge letters, a cheeky grin on your face only to laugh once more when he hurriedly bowed to you in apology.

he was still cute. and he was still making it really hard to not like him.

“it’s okay, just try not to sleep here, i can’t imagine the position being any comfortable” you chastised, you know this because once you fell asleep and woke up with such a cramped neck that you couldn’t move it for two days. you watched as his eyes danced over your face, pausing for a second or two and then lifting his eyebrow in a cocky way.

“thanks for the concern” jin smirked your way and you rolled your eyes, of course with a face like that, he was confident and that also made him attractive, it’s been a while since you’ve openly admitted to yourself that someone was attractive.

but it hasn’t been too long since you made the biggest blunder in your life.

you sighed, closing your books and thinking that this was enough studying for you today, not failing to catch jin’s panicked eyes looking at you.

you got up to leave, flinging your bag over your shoulder, and walking away, silently wishing for jin to say something and he didn’t disappoint. he wasn’t going to talk to you but you initiated the conversation this time so he took that as a green light to talk to you.

“wait, what’s your name? i’m jin!” he called after you, now standing in his seat. even from where you stood, his voice was clear as day so he must have been yelling.

“well jin, still no loud noises in the library, remember?” you smirked at him and laughed to yourself when you heard him groan and slump his shoulders.

just like that, you were gone. again.

jin doesn’t remember the last time he’s chased after someone but you looked like you were worth the chase so he brought out the big guns. he put a dent in his weekly budget and bought two expensive coffee infused drinks from the café in front of the library. all while he cursed capitalism, the café itself and even god because why the fuck did he have to pay 30$ for decent coffee?

that day, he kept close watch to the entrance of the library to catch you walk in and you did, looking even better than he remembers. as soon as you sit down in your usual seat, he walks over to you after gathering every bit of confidence left in him and you paused from writing your notes when you saw a shadow on them, looking up to see jin standing there with a nervous smile and two cups in his hands.

and dare you say, your heart fluttered.

“what are you doing jin?” you mused and he hated how much he liked his name rolling off your tongue. he hasn’t liked his name this much before, you just made it sound more beautiful.

“what does it look like? i’m trying to get your name.” and with that, he set a cup in front of you, and you see, it was very tempting to just sit here and get lost in a conversation with jin who seemed more than eager about it but it wasn’t so tempting when you remember your mistakes, you have hurt someone else too much to chat over coffee like this.

“i don’t like coffee.” but you can’t say no to jin.

jin sighs and just as he’s about to grab the cup and leave you, swearing to himself that he won’t return and also convincing himself to just drink the two expensive drinks himself, your voice stutters his movement to a halt.

“but there’s nothing wrong with trying it again, i guess” you sheepishly grab the cup and start sipping, not missing the relieved smile that settles on his lips and you smile back.

one conversation won’t hurt anyone.

-

turns out, jin is a lot more charming when he isn’t picking on your cardigan, and even more handsome up close. you almost choked on your breath when he leaned over the table to wipe an eyelash from your cheek. the coffee was good but you almost forgot to drink it because you were trying to find some, really any flaws in jin’s face, you didn’t find any. you tried to see flaws in his personality, you didn’t see any, or you just painted too pretty of a picture of him in your head but he really hasn’t given you any reason to paint an ugly one.

it was all too cliché. even now, bundled in your sheets, your hand unconsciously strokes where he touched you and warm butterflies fill your chest.

but you shouldn’t feel like this. last time you felt like this, you hurt someone and even if it’s been a few years since that, you don’t have it in you to forgive yourself because you really do think you don’t deserve to be with anyone.

and as much as you like jin, you know that’s it’s only a matter of time before he finds out about what you did and you’re terrified.

jin is the only person who has treated you like you deserved niceness in all these years and in your heart, you know you have to push him away, or either of you will get too comfortable to go.

and the idea of pushing him away only seemed to get harder the more days you spent with him later on, it was like whatever you two had was magnetic. you never told him your name though, masking your fear of him finding about you by just simply teasing him more. you would walk into the library and the first thing you saw was jin’s large grin and two coffee cups in front of him, and just like that, your heart felt lighter and you felt like letting your regrets go.

but regrets don’t just go, they cling to you, and they clung to you even when you dreamed of jin, they also clung to you when you wondered about what he was dreaming of, if it was you like you dreamed of him.

-

“so yeah, i cried to myself at midnight while watching coco instead of finishing my assignment and now, i’m doomed” jin, along with hoseok and jungkook, laughed at taehyung who was furiously typing away on his laptop.

“glad to know you can find joy in my misery.” taehyung clenched his teeth in mock anger and proceeded to anxiously check the time once again. from what he told them, this assignment was 20% of his grade and he was given a month to finish it. taehyung is starting it now.

taehyung is doomed.

magnificently doomed.

“just finish your essay man” jungkook snickered when hoseok shook his head disappointedly at taehyung’s situation. and jungkook also noticed how jin kept looking around the cafeteria instead of laughing with him, his own eyes travelled to where jin was looking and he didn’t know jin found fading posters on their bulletin board interesting but here they were, staring at a particularly moldy piece of paper hanging on for dear life on that board.

“if you want to join knitting club, we won’t judge hyung” hoseok burst into laughter at jungkook’s words, almost spitting his drink out and jin shook off his haze, turning to playfully shove his younger friend off the table. and after flapping hands at each other for a minute and bickering until one of them backed out, jungkook looked a little concerned for jin because jin was never one to zone out or think too much.

“but no, what are you even thinking about?” jin hesitated to speak about you, he really didn’t know a lot about you, he just knew enough to know that he definitely liked you and you spent a lot of time together but you haven’t even told him your name.

and just as he’s thinking about you, he swears that it’s the ghost of you that comes into the cafeteria and you don’t spare a single glance at anyone, walking straight to the vending machine, a couple of eyes turn to look at you and jin misses the way hushed whispers are exchanged as soon as you’re in the room.

jin doesn’t have it in him to walk up to you today, you make him weak in the best way possible and he hasn’t prepared himself to see you in campus. and jungkook notices how jin’s eyes stray towards you, also noticing how he doesn’t look away until you leave the cafeteria.

jungkook knows what’s got his hyung all wind up.

“so, y/n?” jungkook muses, a teasing tone settled in his voice and jin chokes on thin air, he didn’t expect jungkook to know you, let alone know your name.

“you know her name?” he turns to jungkook with wide eyes and jungkook almost laughs at his comical expression, but his humility dies down the second he sees how serious jin looks, he sits up straight and clears his throat. he’s only seen jin serious a handful of times, and he didn’t enjoy any of those incidents.

“of course, i do, everyone does” jungkook shrugs and jin turns to hoseok and taehyung for confirmation. and sure enough, they both nod as well and jin almost lets out a screech at how everyone around him knows you but him.

seeing jin’s panicked expression, a realization dawns on his roommate, hoseok who smirks at his friend proudly after figuring out where exactly he had been disappearing off to these past few nights.

“is she the reason why you have been going to the library every day?”

“nonsense, i just want to get my grades up.” jin nervously utters out as his ears tinge red, he’s never been a good liar and his friends know and they enjoy watching him miserably struggle with his words.

“you haven’t turned in your assignments for two weeks now” hoseok pointed out with a broad, knowing smile on his face.

“are you stalking me?” jin narrows his eyes at his roommate, but his cheeks were definitely red with all the attention of the conversation turned to him.

“hyung, do you really not know anything about her? she literally was all people talked about when i was a freshman” taehyung said, looking up from his laptop for the first time since the past 10 minutes.

“don’t you have an assignment to finish?” jin questioned, raising his eyebrows at taehyung who didn’t seem to care at all.

“i’m failing anyway, i’ve come to terms with it.” taehyung had apparently decided that his luck wouldn’t save him this time and he was just too invested in the conversation they’re having right now to care about the assignment.

“seriously though, i’m still a junior and i know about her, how do you not?” jungkook piped up, looking at jin incredulously and jin sighed, there was no winning for him here.

“fine, she’s the reason i’m going to the library and i do like her a little but she never told me her name so i would very much appreciate it if you told me.” taehyung, jungkook and hoseok looked at each other for a second, silently debating on whether they should tell what they know or not. all while, jin’s eyes danced over the three of them as they continued to stare at each other and after coming to an unspoken agreement that jin indeed needs to know, taehyung finally breaks eye contact with them and looks at jin.

“y/n, she cheated on her boyfriend in her second year.”

jin didn’t know to react.

he imagined a lot of things about you but you didn’t look like a cheater, and he felt betrayed even if he wasn’t involved with you fully. it just felt like everything he knew about you became a blurry mess that he wasn’t sure of anymore.

how many other things have you been hiding from him?

and jin has never been the judgmental kind but cheating, to him, was pretty serious.

“her boyfriend was devasted and he apparently pulled this sympathy card, got everyone to feel bad for him and that made everyone hate her for a while, he was the campus go-lucky guy so when he got all sad, people got defensive and shit, it was a whole thing. from what i know, she lost a lot of friends after that and her now, ex-boyfriend continues to mop around about it, he’s like the typical good guy who got his heart broken so yeah, no one bothers to talk to her anymore.”

so that is why you’re always alone in the library.

-

you didn’t see jin in the library for a while and it confused you, even hurt you a little bit because even if you know you didn’t deserve his presence, he made you feel alive. you missed that feeling of not being an empty void which spoke two words at the most. he actually pulled sentences, paragraphs even from your mouth with little effort. you missed being around people in general but you understood why no one would talk to you.

because you were a cheater.

you broke someone’s heart.

and you knew you fucked up. you knew you fucked up the minute you woke up in someone else’s bed.

you knew you fucked up when you saw the disappointment, anger and then sadness fill your then boyfriends eyes as you told him what happened.

and it didn’t help that he was actually a kind but difficult person to deal with, it didn’t help that you stopped loving him a long time ago, you even doubted if you ever loved him at all.

but those were excuses to anyone who would hear them.

excuses from a cheater.

because cheaters and liars have all the excuses in the world.

that night became a catalyst for the end of your relationship and there was nothing else you needed more, but it felt like you stepped out of a cage only to fall into a hole.

your ex didn’t take the news too well, and word spread around so quick that even your teaching assistants knew about what happened and they shamed you, for your actions, for your underwhelming reactions to any provoking done by anyone because honestly, you felt numb.

you thought college was going to be this fun period in your life that you would enjoy to the fullest, which is why you even moved from home, you were excited to start this new chapter with an open mind and it all crashed down on you before you could embrace it. it all fell apart right in front of you and you couldn’t do anything but watch as your reputation crumbled into fine sand.

and you deserved it. nothing could excuse cheating, not even the shell you called a relationship, not your boyfriend who was actually a good person and didn’t deserve what you gave him, nothing could change that you were exactly what they called you, a cheater.

it took everything in you to not roll your eyes when he went around campus crying to everyone about how you betrayed him and absolutely broke him, and you felt like a horrible person because you were the reason he was hurt. but you didn’t feel anything. you still don’t feel anything.

but there was one emotion that filled you to the brim and tumbled over. one you won’t admit you feel.

regret.

regret filled your every inch with dangerous opacity, regret that you couldn’t love someone as nice as him, regret that you had to hurt someone to move forward, regret that that one night absolutely destroyed everything for you, regret that you’ll only ever be known as a cheater and nothing else in all your college life.

it’s painful to experience the end of something even if you’ve been anticipating it.

you didn’t love your ex-boyfriend but still the end of whatever you were, it killed you just as much as it killed him. there were still nights that you would dream of tracing his features with your hands in the dark while he softly hummed his favorite song to you, there were still days you missed going to the cafeteria with him and just being all wrapped up with him in front of all your friends, there were still days you missed what you were even if it weren’t good for you.

regret rots you from the inside out, slowly kills you but you act like nothing affects you but every whisper, every stare that lasts too long on you, it halts your movements and makes you close your eyes in pure anguish.

“i get that it’s 4 am and no one is actually okay at this time but why do you look like you’re trying to hold in a fart?” jin’s voice broke your daze, your eyes bouncing around to find where he was, only to see him standing to the side of you while holding two cups, and jin thought he was kidding himself when he saw your face momentarily give him a relieved smile.

“just thinking” you replied, voice a little shaky and nervous. and you straightened your posture when you saw jin looking at you with more seriousness in his eyes, none of his usual playfulness or mischief found, his face was blank and not lit up in a smile like it usually was.

did he find out?

the possibility of him finding out about what you did unnerved you a little. and the tension lingered in the air, with both his sour mood and your overactive mind.

“you know, you don’t have to get me this every time, i know these are expensive as fuck” you cheekily said when he slid one of the cups over to you and jin swore, he could’ve kissed you for being so understanding of his thin wallet.

“thank you, i will no longer be getting us drinks from that place, it’s like every time i go there, they increase the prices.” jin complained loudly, an angry pout on his face as he threw his hands around to exaggerate his frustration. and you bit your lip to stop yourself from laughing out loud at his red face. but you felt relieved that he didn’t seem as rigid as he looked when he came in.

“that’s true, they switch up their prices almost weekly besides, we have a coffee machine here in the library, why did you go till there?” jin’s mouth dropped as you said this.

this library had a what now?

“what do you mean, there’s a coffee machine here?”

“yeah, it’s right there, we have three of them actually” you pointed to the opposite side of the room and jin almost cried out in frustration when he saw the brand spanking new coffee machines, all shiny and ready to be used.

“it even makes caramel latte” you added in, just to humor his expression a little more. and his jaw drops further.

so, he almost blew his month’s allowance to get you coffee when there was a perfectly (and free!!) working coffee machine right here?

“great” he pushed his tongue into his cheek to try and conceal the frustration bubbling in him and it took everything in you to not snicker.

“why haven’t you been coming in these days? grades got too good?” you gave him a small smile, only to see that all the tension that dissipated had built back up when his eyes flashed with realization as to why he came here and he straightened himself back to same posture he had when he walked in-rigid and stern.

“i actually wanted to talk you about something” you knew exactly what he was going to ask you about but you settled to hear it from him first, you could already feel your stomach sinking, and you were foolishly hoping he would ask you about the coffee machines again.

“oh yeah? what is it?” you asked with pursed lips while your fingers nervously fiddled with the lid of the coffee cup and jin took a deep breath, contemplating whether to ask you or not but ever the forward person he was, he did.

“i heard a lot about you, just recently actually, i’m pretty sure you know what i’m talking about. but i don’t know how much of it i can believe so i want you to be honest with me and tell me what happened. before we go any further with whatever this is, i want to hear it from you, y/n.”

“so, you got my name?” you delayed answering his question by taking notice of him saying your name for the first time. your name falling out of his mouth made you shiver a little, you swore that no one else could say your name like he did, you ached to hear it from him again and again.

“it was surprising that everyone around me knew but i didn’t.” he shrugged, taking his coffee cup and peering at you from the top, waiting for you to talk.

you see, jin actually thought of never talking to you again, because your situation just felt too messy and he didn’t know if he wanted to get involved.

but then he also felt he was being unfair by not knowing both sides of what happened so what better way to solve his confusion than ask the person who is directly involved?

besides, jin has blown too much money on coffee just to keep talking to you to give up now. and he doesn’t even like coffee.

“you need to be honest with me, i’m not here to intimidate you into talking or whatever, i’m here to listen to your side” and something about the way his eyes softened when he saw your hands shake a little, and then taking your quivering hands in his made you want to tell him.

you wanted to tell him everything with just the pure openness in his eyes and his willingness to hear you out before he concluded something about the situation, it warmed your heart that at least one person wanted to see how you felt instead of calling you names behind your back.

even if you might never see him because he could be disgusted with what you did and what you felt, you told him. you told him what happened, you told him the feeling that pooled in you after that fateful night, the same feeling you wouldn’t even admit to yourself. you even told him how you wouldn’t change anything except someone getting their heart broken because your relationship ended even before you cheated on him.

you told him everything you wouldn’t even whisper into the night.

jin listened to all of it with utmost attention and you even searched his eyes for any signs of judgment but all you saw was kindness.

kindness you didn’t feel like you deserved.

“you know, you keep saying he was hurt but from what you said, you were hurt just as much.” jin was right. but you didn’t reply because you were scared of admitting that if it broke his heart, it had broken you all over.

you were just as hurt over what happened as your ex-boyfriend but you felt like you didn’t deserve to feel pain when you inflicted it. but pain is a two-edged sword, you felt the same pain just in a different way. it was still pain, it was still you crying every night because you had no one to wish you good night except your parents, it was still you avoiding going into the cafeteria just to avoid the way everyone looked at you, your pain was still pain.

and no one but jin understood that.

“do you regret it?” he finally asked, pushing his cup away and looking at you pointedly.

“i regret cheating on him, not the breakup” you replied honestly, gulping a little and he hummed.

there was a tense pause in the air as you warily eyed him for any reaction but he didn’t give you any, keeping a stoic face and you felt like you couldn’t breath with how silent everything got, thankfully he gave your heart a break by speaking again.

“that’s fair enough. next time, let’s just get the coffee here.” he ended his sentence with a gentle smile which almost made you cry out of happiness because he didn’t run away.

he listened to the worst of you and stayed.

and you clung to his words ‘next time’ more than you thought you would.

-

jin meant what he said, he understood you were having a hard time too and he assumed alienation at college would be pretty harsh considering almost everyone knows everyone on campus. it must have been hard for you when everyone knew about your worst mistake and talked about it like it was teatime gossip.

but jin’s met tons of people in their worst moments, he’s learned to appreciate and admire the strength that individuals have to overcome shit instead of judging them for it.

he met jungkook when he seemingly had no aim and was just a lost young boy who was temperamental or sometimes too shy, he met hoseok when he was going through a rough breakup and was still trying to find himself, he found taehyung when he was a lot sterner and lacked understanding of others. and all his friends have been through their own shit, jin’s been through his fair share of shit too, he’s seen all of them and himself grow into who they are today and he’s proud of them and him too.

but jin knows you’ve already grown through the experience, now you just need to heal and be accepted again, and if no one else does that, he will. not because he was a hero or something, he just felt he couldn’t miss out on knowing someone like you just because you made one mistake.

jin didn’t give a shit about hushed whispers or the weird you would sometimes get when you held his hand, he could hear them calling him a fool for being with you but again, jin was determined to give you a chance for yourself and he wasn’t going to back down.

his unshaking faith in you made you believe in yourself too, he introduced you to his friends who were just as welcoming as he was. he felt his heart warm when you held his hand tighter each time someone would start a conversation with you, like you still needed him even with all those people around, jin felt like he could die a happy man, it didn’t take you long before you got comfortable around people again.

jin couldn’t be prouder.

even right now, the library is still your favorite place, even after several days of spending time with each other, jin couldn’t deny how much more lively and confident you looked as you sat in front of him. this time with coffee made from the library machines near your hands and jin almost leaps from his seat when you look like you're going to knock them over, you don’t even notice how his hands reach out and hold the cup still, instead just going back to write on your brightly colored flash cards (you have taken a liking to bright stationery because of him, you’ve even gone on dates to stationery stores just for the heck of it.)

jin feels endeared and lets out a light chuckle, because you look very cute with your eyebrows scrunched, lips in a slight pout as you furiously jot down points, your hair ever so slightly falls on your face, you just seem so into your own world and like you’ve tuned out everyone else.

but he also frowns at the realization that you’ve probably gotten used to not having anyone around and tuning out everyone was the easiest way you could deal with being alone. he knows that feeling creeps back in you even if you are doing better now.

so, he picks up his books and bag in a hurry making you look up at him with widened eyes, and just as you are about to ask him where he’s going, he seats himself right beside you.

he’s determined to never make you feel lonely again.

he’s also determined to prove to you that it's okay too feel everything you do, be it pain, be it happiness.

he feels like he’s in love? he feels exactly like what they’ve been calling him, a fool.

a fool in love to be more specific, a fool because just by sitting there, you make him want to fight the world for you.

and jin is okay with being a fool. he’s okay with being a fool for you.
