02. Childhood Crushes

Draco had been running away from Astoria through the castle corridors all morning. Malfoy didn’t hate the girl; he just felt suffocated, and being rude to her was not an option thanks to Y/N.

— Don’t make me be like you, Y/N, please. — the blond whispered to his sister during Transfiguration class. Astoria was staring at him and smiling slightly; he kept his face neutral, trying to eliminate any possibility of pleasing her. — She’s stalking us, and I know you hate it too.

Y/N sighed at her brother's confession; she couldn’t deny he was right, but she decided to ignore him, not wanting to get a reprimand from McGonagall. Being Draco’s sister and a Slytherin already made some teachers pay more attention to her mistakes. Draco noticed that the professor was already watching them from afar and decided to do as Y/N did. The blond was relieved when the class finally ended and chased Y/N through the corridors, but lost sight of her. He headed to the Slytherin common room, finding Parkinson and Mattheo there, deciding they would be his advisors.

— She’s just in love. It’s a phase; she’ll forget about you soon. — Pansy was sitting in one of the chairs, next to Mattheo.

— She’s been in this phase since our second year, haven’t you noticed? — the blond threw himself onto the sofa.

— Why don’t you just give her what she wants? Maybe she’ll forget about you then. — Mattheo spoke up, drawing the attention of both to himself. — Come on, let’s be honest, Draco, she’s not that bad. — He had a mischievous smile on his lips, which made Pansy roll her eyes in disapproval and Draco raise his eyebrows in interest. But the girl was quick to notice his reaction and respond.

— Absolutely not. — she paused, looking at the two with a deadly stare — You’re not going to do that, Malfoy.

And before Draco could respond, Theodore and Y/N entered the common room. The appearance of the two friends who weren’t so friendly before made Pansy and Riddle look at them strangely and mentally note it.

— Do what? — Y/N asked, sitting in the chair next to Pansy, while Theodore just approached the group.

— Sleep with Astoria so she’ll leave you alone. — Mattheo said simply, as if it were something completely ordinary.

— It’s amazing, I leave you alone for a few moments, and you’re already thinking about following Mattheo’s advice? — Y/N smiled and continued. — Now ask him if it works for him.

— Well, this week that Ravenclaw girl knocked on our dorm door again looking for you. — Theodore received a stern look from his roommate.

— See? If you’re with her, it might seem like a chance to like her back. — Y/N added.

— Not to mention that my sister doesn’t deserve to lose her virginity to someone who doesn’t like her. — Daphne appeared from the dormitory stairs, causing everyone there to be startled.

— Well, in that case, let’s have her try with Adrian; maybe they’ll end up liking each other and fitting together, after all. — Y/N stood up, grabbing her bag from the floor, making a move to leave the room, until Pansy let something slip. She didn’t mean to, it just came out.

— Oh, Y/N. You know better than anyone here that Adrian isn’t the delicate type when it comes to that. — and only then did she realize what she had said and whispered — Damn.

— I don’t even want to know what Pansy meant by that, Y/N. — Draco gave a deadly look to his sister, who was now breathing deeply with anger at her friend. Fortunately, it was just the two of them in the common room.

— Great. — Y/N forced a sarcastic smile and left as quickly as she could.

Nott tensed again at the information, not understanding why she would be with the other Slytherin. Moments before his bad mood started in the common room, he and Y/N had been in the library, reading together. In silence, he admired how the sunlight coming through the windows illuminated the girl’s face almost theatrically. Theodore paid attention to every feature of her, her lashes fluttering with each line she finished reading, her lips curling into small smiles when she found something funny, her eyebrows furrowing when she didn’t understand something; everything about her was beautiful and harmonious.

— Theo! — Draco snapped the boy out of his thoughts, bringing back his bad mood. — I’ve been calling you for ages. — he exaggerated, standing up and leaving while mumbling some complaint.

— Where were you, by the way? — Pansy caught Theodore’s attention, who looked at her confused.

— What?

— You and Y/N. You arrived here together, and as far as I know, you were never close. — She dared to insinuate.

— Even if you’re not interested, we were studying in the library, Parkinson. — He left, also annoyed, not giving the girl a chance to respond.

— What got into him? — Daphne asked the remaining friends there.

— He seemed pretty happy when he came in here with Y/N. — Riddle answered, not realizing, but Pansy connected some dots in her mind, which until now could have been mere coincidences, or not.

[…]

The mood was anxious that day with the Winter Ball approaching. Some students were in a panic at the prospect of going to the ball alone. At the Gryffindor table, the Boy Who Lived still had not arranged a date for the event, nor had his best friend, Ronald Weasley. The redhead had always been judged by his close friends and siblings for having a crush on Malfoy’s sister, the boy who had always humiliated them without remorse. According to Ron, she wasn’t like Draco, but he didn’t know that; he only assumed it was true because she didn’t treat them with disdain.

That day, Y/N was receiving many hostile looks from other girls who wanted to go to the ball with Theodore, but certainly, the harshest look was from Hermione Granger.

— I don’t understand why she’s looking at me like that; I don’t remember doing anything to her recently. — Y/N commented quietly to Pansy and Daphne while they were having their last meal of the day in the Great Hall.

— Your brother must have done something. You know that when it comes to the Golden Trio, things always splash onto you simply for being a Malfoy as well. — Daphne replied, and Pansy nodded, while Y/N shrugged; her friends were probably right.

The three friends were heading towards the exit, accompanied by Draco, Blaise, and Mattheo, when suddenly, they were intercepted by Ron Weasley. Draco raised his nose as high as he could, already thinking of the insults he would use against the poor boy, who, just by seeing the blond’s expression, began to regret doing it at that moment. The way Y/N’s friends looked at him wasn’t very different either; their disdainful looks only made Ron more nervous.

— Y/N… — The redhead called weakly. — Could I talk to you for a minute?

— Oh, sure. What’s up? — Y/N was polite, though surprised and curious to know what he wanted to discuss with her. She didn’t realize his need to get away from the snakes surrounding him, so he had to gather every bit of his little courage and use it.

— Well, I was thinking… if you want, of course… about going to the ball with me. — He barely finished the sentence when the girl’s brother let out a loud laugh, and Y/N’s other friends looked at him with even more disdain and hidden laughter behind their hands. Y/N, on the other hand, smiled kindly, feeling sorry for him.

— Oh, Ron, I’m so sorry. But Theodore already asked me to go with him. — Y/N felt a huge pang of guilt; the boy had gathered all his courage, faced the bully that her brother was, and asked her to go with him. — But you should ask Hermione; you’re friends, aren’t you?

— Hermione? Definitely not. She’d have to make an effort to look like a girl. — Ron responded with disdain, trying to hide his frustration at being rejected. Y/N was puzzled by how he talked about the girl who was supposed to be Weasley’s best friend.

Y/N smiled, nodding at his comment, and left with Pansy, Daphne, and Mattheo, while Blaise stayed to keep Draco company, who certainly wouldn’t miss the opportunity to humiliate the boy. Weasley wasn’t quick enough to leave before being alone with Malfoy, and now he would face the consequences.

— Now, seriously, Weasley. Did you really think Y/N, my sister, would go to the ball with you? — the boy said with a cynical smirk and disdain in his eyes. The redhead didn’t reply, just accumulated his anger at going through this. — Not in your wildest dreams would that happen. You’re pathetic.

— Come on, Draco! — Y/N called from further down the corridor.

— Imagine when our father finds out, Y/N. — Draco said loudly in the corridor as he walked towards Y/N with Blaise. The laughter didn’t stop for a second; it was as if they had told the funniest joke of his life. — He’ll die laughing.

As soon as they reached the common room, Draco made a point of telling everyone there about

the recent situation, eliciting laughter from other friends and some confused looks from the unfamiliar first-years.

[…]

The next morning, nothing was talked about at the Slytherin table but the Winter Ball, while at the Gryffindor table, the boy Weasley had his head down while eating. Suddenly, an old owl entered the Great Hall and dropped a box in front of the redhead; all eyes were on him again. Upon opening the package, a ball gown was pulled out, but let’s say it would be more appropriate for a ball in the 1800s, perhaps.

It was inaudible but perceptible, the boy’s indignation. The mocking murmurs quickly followed, especially from the Slytherin table.

— You’d have to dress like our great-grandmother if Weasley took you to the ball. — Draco mocked, making the whole group laugh.

— Stop! — Y/N said, trying to hold back her laughter at her brother’s joke.

— What’s going on? I’m out of the loop. — Theodore asked, but laughed at the commotion.

— Oh, I forgot to tell you yesterday. — Mattheo started — Yesterday, after dinner, as soon as you left, Weasley asked Y/N to the ball. Draco, of course, didn’t miss the chance to make fun of him.

— Can you imagine that, Theodore? — Draco asked, laughing. — Weasley taking Y/N to the ball. And worse, in that outfit. — The blond burst into laughter, joined by his friends.

— What? Draco was with you? — He asked, confused, and Mattheo nodded. — Those Gryffindors really are quite bold. — Theodore chuckled lightly at the situation and turned his attention back to Y/N’s face, who was still laughing at what Draco had said. _______________________________

The First Meeting||Harry Potter

The First Meeting||Harry Potter

﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏ꕥ﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏

- Me desculpa mesmo…

Baile de Inverno|| Harry Potter

Baile De Inverno|| Harry Potter

﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏ꕥ﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏

- ela me olhou desafiadoramente mesmo sabendo a resposta.

- Me procurando, amor??

The First Meeting ||Harry Potter

Pairing: Harry Potter x You

The First Meeting ||Harry Potter

Summary: Your life takes a 360º turn when you discover that you are a witch and that you are going to study and live in a world completely different from yours. In the midst of so much change, you meet a boy who is feeling the same.

Word Count: 2.4k

N / A: This is the first fanfic that I am posting on Tumblr, so it would be very important to me if you leave your opinion here and also English it's not my first language, if I made a mistake, I'll like to know and correct it.

The First Meeting ||Harry Potter

The day started rainy, which is not surprising considering that I am in England, more specifically in the city of London. However, I, as an immigrant from hot lands, consider rainy days bad luck, because something always happens wrong.

And to my despair, today was supposed to be perfect.

It was only a month ago that I discovered to be a witch and for my happiness, it has nothing to do with pointy noses and pure evil. Apparently the only similarity is the hats, since in the two moments I was around real wizards, I saw several people wearing them.

My family, for the most part, being a completely devout Catholic, did not accept my new reality so well, not to say it was hell on Earth. In short, if I went, I wouldn't be able to set foot in the house again, as they weren't going to house a sinful witch.

That bearded gentleman was kind enough to help me find another place to stay, while my parents would think better of it. Although I was unable to thank him or at least speak after being expelled from my home, or old home.

I've been staying at the Leaky Cauldron ever since, but because of the latest events in my life, I just went out to buy the materials. Being a witch had cost me a lot and I wasn't ready to face that until yesterday. It took me a long time to decide whether to go to Hogwarts or not, but now the certainty that I made the right choice was growing in my chest.

Right after having breakfast at one of the bar tables, I waited seated by the person in charge who would accompany me to Kings Cross station, where I was supposed to catch a train. I knew about it the same day that I discovered the magical world but only today I was anxious for that. I must admit that I imagined that we would fly, obviously all the stories lied to all the non-magical children on Earth.

A few minutes later, a man in a turban appeared through the door and walked towards me, his expression showing no particular emotion when entering or even seeing me sitting, but what scared me was the fragility and fear in his voice.

- Miss Garcia, good morning, are you ready to leave? - He leaned on one leg while looking around worriedly.

- Yes sir .. is everything ok ?? The bathroom is on that side - I knew it was inconvenient but I couldn't hold my curiosity as I watched his expression change.

- It will be a short trip but we must go now, to not risk losing the train, let's go - his posture was suddenly rigid and his face looked shaken but this time, I kept my thoughts to myself.

At least he was kind enough to help me with the two suitcases, which were quite heavy due to the amount of books that were inside, I got some History of Magic extra books to learn more about that world.

And he was not wrong, the path was fast despite the light rain and wet streets. We didn't talk beyond the formalities, I just found out that he is one of my teachers that year, Professor Quirrel and nothing else.

As soon as my feet took a step into the station, the man said goodbye with a nod and left to go his own way with a weird expression, but I didn't care about that for more than 2 seconds.

I took a deep breath and started to walk following the small crowd of people who would possibly go to work in another city, since I didn't know the way to the platforms. Honestly, I didn't think it would work until I saw the license plate numbers, and I quickly hurried on, because mine was ahead.

- 7 ... 8 ... 9 ... 10 ?? - I stopped walking at the same moment I realized that mistake, there was nothing between 9 and 10 - I don't believe it ...

I stood leaning against a wall looking around as if looking for someone, but in fact I wanted to find a miracle or at least an angel who could tell me what to do in that situation.

Millions of thoughts crossed my mind within 2 minutes, most of them negative, until something drew attention out of my despair, or rather, someone. A red hair had just gone through the wall, it was so fast I could hardly believe my own eyes.

Two more people did the same before I managed to close my mouth and walk over there, in shaky, uncertain steps. They hadn't noticed me and I thanked them mentally for it, because I wouldn't be able to pronounce a single right word. The good news is that they were certainly wizards, by the way they dressed and the most logical conclusion is that they would know the right way.

I waited for everyone to cross to get closer to that wall, I couldn't hear the conversation but I noticed that the right way to enter is to run. Again I took a deep breath and looked around to see if anyone was noticing me, with the station full, my answer came as a quick no.

I closed my eyes and ran about three short steps until I felt a sensation unlike anything I had felt so far. The stone wall seemed to have turned into a wind wall and I easily managed to get to the other side. I immediately opened my eyes after hearing the sound of a train and when looking to the side, there he was. The Hogwarts Express was written right in front of the locomotive.

It only took me 10 seconds to notice the difference, the clothes were definitely different and there was an absurd amount of children and teenagers, as I was walking closer to the train entrance, more people were showing up, in a way I didn't know how to explain.

The trip was smooth to Hogwarts, I found an empty car as soon as I arrived but soon the seats were being filled and I ended up sharing my cabin with two more girls, I soon noticed that they were sisters and that was the initial topic of our conversation. They were nice and helped me get into the current context of the wizarding world, explaining the basics about Hogwarts as well.

- And he's here, the boy who defeated you-know-who's going to study with us! - the oldest of the brunettes spoke excitedly with a huge smile on her face.

- One of my friends told me earlier that she met him in the hall, what is he like? - the youngest asked even knowing that none of us would know the answer.

This topic remained for a while, until they decided to take a walk on the train while I read, enjoying some quiet time. Honestly, I wouldn't like to be in this boy's shoes, not only because of the tragedies in his life, but also because of the amount of attention, comments and theories about him.

But I cannot deny it, I would like to meet him, who would not be curious after everything that was being commented on?

People got in and out of the car where I was sitting and I tried to have a decent conversation with everyone, but then when two older students came to tell us that we should change clothes, as we were arriving. I preferred to wait because a hurried crowd of students wanted to go first, so I ended up being one of the last to get dressed, but one of the first to leave the train.

All the way the view had been impressive but nothing had prepared me for the vision I had when I approached the lake, where we were supposed to go. It was dark and it wasn't raining, the moonlight reflected on the water of the Black Lake like a mirror and I was almost sad to see that we were going to cross by boat, because that image would be blurry.

I could only see the outline of the huge castle on the other side, but it was enough to see all the splendor of that place and for a few seconds I was paralyzed absorbing the beauty of everything around me, until a voice brought me to reality.

- Only 4 people on each boat, kids! - I glanced at the giant man, who was talking animatedly to some students, before I sat down in an empty space.

As soon as we reached the other side, we gathered in a small group on the castle entrance stairs to hear one of the teachers. I remained behind and silent as I was paying attention, until I saw someone passing by and right after I felt a foot stepping on top of mine for several seconds.

- Hey! Can't you see I'm here ?? - I said indignantly but as low as possible looking at the red-haired boy beside me.

- I ... I'm sorry, I didn't see you - he replied without even looking at me, his face turning as red as the color of his hair.

I thought about replying but as the teacher was still talking, I just preferred to nod, accepting the apology. Only then did I realize that I caught the attention of two more students, a curly haired girl who cast a disapproving look at the redhead but smiled at me gently and at another dark haired boy, who noticed my gaze and shifted his look to the other side immediately.

It didn't take more than 15 minutes before we were inside that incredible hall, instead of a concrete ceiling just like outside, above my head was the most beautiful starry sky I have ever had the pleasure of seeing, with floating candles to complete the view. To my relief, it didn't seem like a common thing for most first year students, who talked quietly among themselves so I didn't look like an idiot admiring alone.

We were instructed to stay in a queue, I had no idea what was going to happen so I was distracted looking at the stars, which never seemed so achievable until that moment. I wish I could go up there and take at least one, but it would be impossible.

We walked slowly until we stopped in front of the other students, who were spread out over 4 tables, my eyes never left the illuminated sky and as a result, I didn't notice that I was too close to the boy in front of me.

I got my first embarrassing moment of the year in less than 10 minutes, because I stepped on the cover of the boy in front of me. All the consequences of that went by very quickly before my eyes. In a second I was out of balance and fell, but that's not the worst part. I accidentally pulled his cloak back, the boy fell out of balance and fell with me, his back to me. It hurts, too much. No more than the weight of my humiliation and shame, but it still hurts.

My face took on a pinkish tinge as I silently prayed that no one noticed, but that's not what happened. Today was definitely not my lucky day. I could hear half the room laughing and half whispering, so I knew for sure that I had made a big impression on people and a bigger one on the Hogwarts floor.

- Sorry ... I was distracted - I spoke as quietly as possible looking at the ceiling and again at him.

He didn't look at me for more than 2 seconds before looking away in that same direction and back to me again. His nod was minimal but noticeable and he soon stood up, which I had forgotten to do in those few seconds.

What surprised me more than anything in the last month was his hand extended to help me, it didn't take me long to accept the help and so I got up and straightened my clothes trying not to show shock. This was an act of kindness that I couldn't expect from my brothers, considering how angry they would be in a situation like this, but other than shame, I couldn't see a hint of anger in his green eyes.

- I'm really sorry ... - I said again, loud enough that only he could hear me.

The director had called everyone's attention, so most had stopped laughing although that redhead from before just stopped after the mini punch that the brunette gave him.

- It's okay, it will just be another reason for people to talk about me behind my back - he gave me another small smile on the side but his tone was not the happiest.

- And why?? I don't know who you are - I was curious because I had not met anyone important in the magical world until then.

I could see a flash of surprise in his expression but before he could answer me, the names started to be called and little by little the children walked to the stool, where the hat was placed on their heads. After that he didn't answer me, no one else had the courage to say a word because they were very anxious to get their turn and also curious, like me, to know which house the famous Harry Potter would go to.

- Potter, Harry - called the teacher with a serious but serene expression and a different look in her eyes.

From then on, the students' not-so-low whispers started again and I, who was already at the Hufflepuff table, could only be surprised to notice that the boy I dragged to my shame was actually Harry Potter himself. I didn't have the courage to look at him for more than 5 seconds, because again the embarrassment consumed me but this time harder. I only looked at him again when the Gryffindor table radiated in cheers and laughter as soon as he was drawn there and then our eyes met for the last time that night.

Helpless||Harry Potter

Pairing: George Weasley x Reader

Helpless||Harry Potter

Summary: You are one of the students of the Beauxbatons commission and like the others you are determined to win the Triwizard Tournament but instead of the Goblet of Fire, you ended this season at Hogwarts with something better .

Word Count: 2,0 k

N / A: This story is based on the Helpless of the musical Hamilton and if you want, I recommend listening to the song along with the lyrics.

Part II

Helpless||Harry Potter

Ooh, I do, I do, I do, I do (hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey)

Hey! Ooh, I do, I do, I do, I do (Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey)

I have come to be known for some characteristics over the years. For most of my colleagues, determination and patience, but for my family and especially my sister, I was always going to be a hopeless romantic.

But then we heard about the Tournament and I would have to concentrate fully if my name came out of the Goblet of Fire, so I decided to leave this side of me in France. But that change did not last more than a few hours.

Boy, you got me helpless

Look into your eyes, and the sky's the limit

We were all sitting at the Ravenclaw table while the director finished announcing the Triwizard Tournament formalities and I couldn't be paying any less attention. From the moment I entered that room, a pair of bright brown eyes caught my eye. I couldn't help noticing the incredible amount of redheads on one table, but only one of them left me with a different feeling that I didn't know until now.

Of course, I didn't spend much time looking. My goal here is very specific, I would not have time for distractions as my name could be called up tomorrow.

- Of course, to travel to a swamp on the other side of the world, you're going to have to give up putting your name in the cup, right? - my sister asked in an irritated tone of voice and I had no idea why or what she was saying.

- Oh sure, I think it's a great idea, sis - I replied with a smile as I looked back at the director, but he was no longer standing - has he finished? Has he talked about the Yule Ball too?? - I asked, looking back at the older one.

- Yes, why are you acting like this? Eat a little, I think the trip didn't do you much good - she replied with a worried tone, leaving the anger aside.

I agreed to a nod and concentrated on the French food that had been kindly prepared for our arrival, but my eyes kept looking back at the table where he was one last time.

I'm helpless

Down for the count, and I'm drownin 'in' on

The next day, during the morning there was a circle of students around the Goblet of Fire but as soon as we arrived, they made room and then each one of us put the paper with our name in there. I chose to be the last in line, because I was in no hurry and for a single reason. He was there again.

The same eyes, but now I could see more closely and without having to worry because it was not in my direction that they were. The boy was having a lively conversation with some other students and his own twin.

After my turn passed, I walked over to where a friend was standing because I also wanted to see the rest of the competition, that's not exactly what happened.

I admit it was a funny scene to see the two of them being thrown two meters out of that circle but at the same time, I was a little worried.

I have never been the type to try and grab the spotlight

We were at a revel with some rebels on a hot night

After a few months, we were finally at that ball that promised to be one of the best events of the year and perhaps the decade at Hogwarts. A lot of things changed in the meantime, the first was that I wouldn’t be the champion but I was vehemently rooting for Fleur, the second thing is that a minor had entered the competition and that turned this castle upside down and finally, I had managed to get close to that redhead. To be fair, me and Alexia. We both agreed that only an idiot would voluntarily sign up as a minor, this caught the attention of Harry Potter's friends and himself.

In fact I learned his name, it's George, it's easy to tell when I can see his face. From the back, I don't have much of a guarantee and it's hard to see them standing still somewhere, so it's even more difficult for me that way.

Laughin 'at my sister as she's dazzling the room

Then you walked in and my heart went, "Boom!"

I had been invited by some boys before accepting to come with a student from Durmstrang, I confess that I hoped to be invited by George but I preferred not to risk waiting.

I looked for my sister with my eyes and it was not difficult to find her, she was dancing with her own partner in the middle of the dance floor, impossible not to notice. They were even a beautiful couple, but I knew she was interested in someone else, I just didn't know who. Just as I hadn't told her about my feelings yet.

My attention changed completely when I saw the door to the Great Hall open and the unaccompanied Weasley twins came in. My heart stopped for a second and I could feel it beat faster, some questions crossed my mind. I hadn't seen them before, did they come alone? Hope had returned.

Tryin 'to catch your eye from the side of the ballroom

Everybody's dancin' and the band's top volume

The slow song was over but I only noticed it when I saw the girl in front of me and then I smiled, trying not to lose sight of George but didn't go like that, since I was on the other side of the dance floor.

- You were having fun out there, weren’t you?? - I asked with a smile, giving up looking over her shoulder, so I just focused on her face.

- Yes, and where is your partner? You should be having fun too - she replied leaning against the wall beside me.

- He said he was going to talk to his friends but so far he hasn't returned - I couldn't hide my indifference, because I never had to hide anything with her.

Grind to the rhythm as we wine and dine

Grab my sister and whisper: Yo, this one's mine

- I know he wasn't your first choice, so who is it? I’m willing to know - his gaze left me and scanned the party full of people, looking for who could be right for me.

- I wanted to make sure he was interested in me before I told you. It's George, from the first moment we arrived here for the first time - I didn't try to hide my smile or my passionate look when I finally found the redhead again.

My sister made her way across the room to you (ooh)

And I got nervous thinking

"What's she gonna do?" (Ooh)

In a moment, she was beside me with an expression I didn't recognize and a second later the brunette was walking towards the other side of the dancefloor.

- Alexia, what are you going to do… - I didn't even try to speak out loud, because the music was incredibly loud for anyone but me to hear.

To my horror, she walked towards the Weasleys and I

paralyzed. One of my sister's characteristics comes down to doing basically everything for me, I already knew that nothing bad could be in her intentions but that didn't relieve my nervousness.

She grabs you by the arm

I'm thinkin ', "I'm through" (ooh)

Then you look back at me

And suddenly I'm helpless

I couldn't look away even though I looked crazy to those outside, so the two stepped aside a few meters and I could hear my heartbeat increasing by the second.

Would I like to be able to hear them? Certainly, but before I could think better about it. He looked directly at me.

Oh, look at those eyes (look into your eyes)

And the sky's the limit

I'm helpless (I know)

Down for the count and I'm drownin '

Helpless (I am so into you)

Few things in life have left me so nervous as that moment when George Weasley was walking towards me, with that smile on his face, the kind of smile I hadn't seen yet but perfectly matched his features.

She accompanied him halfway and winked at me before returning to the dancefloor. I didn't know what to expect but I would thank her forever, if that was what my hopeless heart was telling me.

Look into your eyes (I am so into you)

And the sky's the limit

I'm helpless

I know I'm down for the count

And I'm drownin 'in' in

The night ended perfectly and I almost felt like it was fate, because his partner ended up dancing with my partner. So they didn't even care for a second about being "abandoned", not that I was going to let this opportunity just slip through my fingers.

He was cute and kind, we danced and talked a little bit alone before going back to our friends.

But this time it was different because we were never so close to each other, I couldn't help but notice his arm around my shoulder, making me stay even closer to him.

That was my signal, the signal that this night meant something more to him too.

One week later

I'm writin 'a letter nightly

Now my life gets better, every letter that you write me

A week later, I had come to Paris with Ale to spend the Christmas holiday with our parents, but it didn't mean that we would lose contact. At that point it was past midnight when I was replying the letter I just received.

The owl that brought it was barely able to flap its wings when it arrived here and as it was freezing outside, I left it in the cage with mine to rest. She drank some water and practically passed out, poor thing.

- As I was saying, he really cares about you. Who wouldn't want someone like that? - she said after reading the letter I received.

- You will find one of these soon, there is a whole group of boys waiting for the chance of their lives to show you that - I replied with a smile while thinking of the right words to answer, everything had to be extremely perfect.

Laughin 'at my sister 'cause she wants to form a harem

I'm just sayin ', if you really loved me, you would share him

Ha!

- Yes, but still, it is not enough - she replied pouting but then smiled as if an idea had crossed her mind - we shared everything, why not that too? - She completed folding the letter and I just laughed.

- That's the only thing we can't share in this life and you're too jealous to share someone - I replied laughing even more at the expression she made.

- I'm going to sleep, just don't take too long to answer this letter, ok? Tomorrow we will all go out together, in case your little head has forgotten - she gave me one last hug before leaving, but I noticed that the light in her room was on for a while longer.

Many other things happened afterwards, but my hand is hurting and my ink is running out, so I'll leave the rest for later, ok? I promise don't keep you waiting to know what's happens next. See you tomorrow, dear diary.

Tetrachromat ||Harry Potter

Pairing: Cedrico Diggory x Reader // Hermione Granger x Reader

Tetrachromat ||Harry Potter

Summary: In a world where you can see 100 million different shades, every day means a new discovery. But among so many, you find something completely different in someone

Word Count: 2,6k

N / A:  tetrachromatism or tetracromacia comes from the mixture of two words of Greekorigin,"tetra" means "four" and "Chroma" which means "color". A tetrachromat person has 4 cell cones, instead of 3 which is more common, and this makes him sensitive to a wider color spectrum.

Part II

Tetrachromat ||Harry Potter

I had just come home after a tiring day at work, when I came across a scene that I hadn't seen in a long time. There was a brown owl on the steps of my house, I looked around and then walked over to it, took the letter that was tied to one of its legs, and a few seconds later I saw it flying across the London sky back to Hermione, after all there is no one but her that I know in the Wizarding World. As she was waiting for me there for a long time, I'm sure my parents haven't arrived yet, as they would have let her in.

I left my bag on the sofa and sat down to read it immediately, I hadn't heard from her in over a year and sometimes I feared the worst had happened. The last thing I received was a warning, she had told me that she couldn't get in touch because she had an important mission to do and that when it was over, we could talk again.

“Dear friend,

It has been a week since the war ended, the Wizarding World is turned upside down but we are at peace and rebuilding ourselves now. I'm sending this letter to let you know that I'm going to visit my parents' house in a few days and I would like to see you too. After lunch next Saturday it seems like a good time.

I have more things to tell you than I can put into words, I would also like to ask you a favor, but we can resolve this later.

 With love, Hermione. ”

This visit was only the first of many. We talked as far as she could tell me, some issues were still sensitive and very recent and I obviously respected that, but even without many details, knowing the things that happened was difficult to process and she also respected that.

We started seeing each other more than once a week, my parents managed to help locate Hermione's parents very easily, since our families have been neighbors and close friends for a long time. That was the favor she asked for and I immediately agreed.

Over the course of two months, things were returning to their proper place and I had been officially invited by the brunette to visit their version of London and of course, I accepted. I was looking forward to that day, in the last letter I received, she told me that she would like to introduce Harry and Ronald, her boyfriend, to me. It is strange to think that I had heard everything about them, literally everything that happened at Hogwarts I knew from letters, but that we never actually talked.

On the day that the visit was finally going to happen, I was more nervous than I had imagined. At 9 am, I was just getting ready when I heard a huge noise in the living room and for a few seconds I was scared, until I remembered that the girl warned me that this would happen.

I could hear my parents' voices downstairs and I didn't even have to worry about hurrying, the only thing that caught my attention were the steps on the wooden stairs and then a light knock on the door.

- Come in, Mione - I replied calmly, knowing who I was as I finished putting on my boots.

- It's really impressive how you always guess right - she replied with a smile and came in, sitting next to me.

- It's not very difficult, nobody in this house really knocks on the door before entering, although I keep complaining about it - we both smiled at my comment and I continued - I thought you were going to bring Harry and Ronald - I commented getting up and she immediately laughed , leaving me confused.

- It is weird to hear you saying "Ronald" so formally, it seems that you do not know him- she explained to me and I had to laugh too.

- I think so too, but as I don't know him personally, it doesn't feel right to be informal, I can't explain it, but anyway, I'm ready to go.

We said goodbye to my parents before apparating to a street with several different stores. We walked a lot and it was nice to see how people were happier after all the terror that happened.

Many people stopped to talk to Mione, she tried to disguise it but I noticed perfectly how well it did her, as if the whole sacrifice was worth it because no one would have to suffer or be afraid anymore.

It was only at lunchtime that we met with the others at a restaurant, that I had to insist a lot to go and exchange my money because Hermione wanted to pay, since I was the guest of the day.

Along the way, I noticed how this London is more normal than I imagined it to be, I have to look closely to see the less drastic differences.

- Is it true that you see different colors from everyone ?? - the redhead asked unable to hold himself and I just laughed at Hermione's indignant expression - Ouch! What? It’s not true? - He put his hand behind his head, where he had been slapped by the brunette next to him.

We had come in less than 5 minutes ago, I thought it was going to be a lot more uncomfortable than it really was. Right after the introductions, Ronald asked me that question and I admit that I was a little surprised. I had no idea that Mione talked about me for them.

- It is true, colors work in a different way for me. Around everything there are colors popping out before my eyes - I tried to explain as easily as I could with a smile.

- Around people too ?? Around us now, have colors ?? - his eyes sparkled with excitement when I agreed - what do you see around me ?? - he added with interest in his voice.

- Many shades of red, blue and orange - I said after analyzing him for a few seconds.

- Hey, it reminds me of that book you gave me. The psychology of colors - her smile opened immediately when she remembered.

- Psychology? It couldn't have a better word for a title? Nobody in their right mind would read that - Ron leaned back in his chair and Harry's posture changed, as if he expected what was coming.

- That book has the meaning of each color, I like to think that colors describe people but since you are not interested, I will not say it - the two went from water to wine in a matter of seconds.

- We are interested, how could I not have been told about this before ?? - The brown-eyed boy looked at her as if he had been terribly betrayed.

- We had bigger concerns Ronald, since the first year you two took me into trouble that could have cost our life or our expulsion - she stared at him seriously and not a trace of remorse stamped his face.

- But you don't regret living all these adventures, right? It was fun at least, most of them - he replied leaning over to her with a wide smile.

- Well, some choices could be decided much more sensibly, we weren't that much of a child - she said moving away to the side as the other approached - what are you doing, Ronald? - her cheeks burned a light pink.

- What is the definition of red? - Harry said suddenly, taking my attention from the couple next to me, he looked as comfortable as I did.

- Well, usually strong emotions. Passion, love, anger .. I see it in all of you, but it is not up to me to point out exactly what it means in each case - I said looking at the three since I received attention from the lovebirds.

- And do you have proof of that? Is it really true ?? - He asked me again, even more curious.

- In terms of colors and meanings, yes, but as there are few people with my condition, no researcher has identified the relationship of colors with what is around them. I like to believe it's true, so far it's not wrong and I have tested it several times.

We continued talking animatedly, even after our orders arrived. The topic of colors continued until everyone was satisfied with their definitions and then they decided to tell me some mini adventures that they lived together, which I still didn't know about.

- And after all this episode with the spider, he had the courage to say that they didn't do it wrong, as if my head had almost been eaten by mistake - Ron said with wide eyes while gesturing non-stop.

We all laughed but I lost focus on the conversation as soon as two men stopped by our table, clearly father and son or something, due to the clear age difference. Both had friendly smiles on their faces, but the youngest one caught my attention the most.

I just managed to hear an echo in my head of what the conversation was about, I obviously wasn't looking at him because it would be rude and it's not the kind of thing I would have the courage to do shamelessly.

- We haven't seen each other in a while, Mr. Diggory, oh by the way, this is a friend of mine - Mione nodded at me and I smiled, just before I introduced myself and they did the same.

Cedric, it’s his name. I remained distracted by my own thoughts until a tap on the shoulder woke me up, they were no longer there but I could tell they were at a nearby table.

- Hey, I was talking to you - she said with an expression of indignation and a little bit of concern too - oh, finally back to this planet - she completed it as soon as she got my attention again.

- What were you going to say, Mione? - I felt my face heat up but I tried to hide it as much as possible, the less attention for this moment of mine the better.

The brunette decided to leave the questions for later and I thanked her internally for that. After we finished eating, it was just the two of us again since apparently both of the boys had plans for the rest of the day.

- Did something bother you earlier? You didn't even look at us - I heard her say as we walked out of the restaurant.

- Yes, but you don't have to worry about that, I just needed a few seconds to put my head in place - I hadn't even realized what that could mean until I saw the smile on her face.

- Was just one "hello" enough for your head to get out of place? Not that I'm judging, that's usually how it was at Hogwarts - her tone was a little bit malicious and I instantly slapped your arm.

- It was nothing like that, I had never seen anyone or anything with so many colors before. He had a rainbow of colors, I couldn't even process it properly - I used the lowest tone I could, after all we were still in public.

- Are you sure?? Your vision may have confused him with the whole background -  the rational side spoke first and I shook my head - well, it doesn't seem like a coincidence. Cedric has always been the definition of Hufflepuff, I couldn't think of anyone else who could be a rainbow, literally speaking - her smile returned even more prominent.

As a last stop, we went back to Diagon Alley because apparently the desserts there were the best. I was about to find out if this is true or not, when Hermione told me she was going to get a book, which really isn't a surprise to anyone, so I enjoyed my chocolate cake alone, sitting at one of the round pink tables.

- Hey, I didn't expect to see you here - it definitely wasn't a female voice, so as I looked ahead there he was again.

- I would go anywhere to have such a good cake - we both smiled and I motioned him to sit on the currently empty chair - and what is your reason? I asked with one eyebrow raised.

- I'm working as a house elf today, my dad ordered a huge order here and I came to get it - maybe I had paid more attention than necessary to his smile, but who can judge me?

- I don't want to disturb you, it must be important - I tried to be the most sincere in those words, but most of me wanted his presence for a few more minutes.

- He won't mind waiting longer, I couldn't miss the opportunity to spend a few more minutes with such a beautiful girl - he dared to wink at me.

Before I could answer, the cashier who also owns the place came to our table personally and what she said made me blush hard.

- Hello, your father's order is ready, Mr. Diggory and we also have a special promotion for couples, if you are interested - her smile was loving.

Cedric was as speechless as I was, both overflowing with redness in our face and the lady did not seem to understand the situation at all, she brought another menu with options for couples to our table before leaving us alone again.

- This is not what I expected to happen, but this colorful cake looks really good - I blinked slowly and couldn't resist it, I had to laugh and the confused expression on his face made me laugh even more.

- That was a very HufflePuff way of dealing with the situation and, by the way, you should try it. It suits you after all - I commented before eating my own cake.

- Do you study at Hogwarts too? I mean, studied when it wasn’t destroyed.

- Oh no, I'm not a witch. I know a lot about it ‘cause of Hermione, apparently you're quite popular - again I noticed the pink on his cheeks increase and I must say, it's amusing  to watch.

- Not quite popular for sure, what else you know about me? - He regained his confident posture and raised an eyebrow in my direction.

- Not beyond what I have already implied, but I would love to know more if it’s okay for you.

Where did I get that confidence from? I'm not sure, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity and my attitude seems to have taken him by surprise as much as me. The words disappeared from his mouth as I grinned.

- Is there a problem Cedric? - I was having more fun than I expected this afternoon.

- I should have asked you out, but you were faster - he said so seriously frustrated but my only desire is  just to laugh.

- Oh, do you want to go out with me? I meant to get to know each other as friends - he stopped to analyze me and I tried to be serious but before he apologized, I held his hand - I was just kidding, I would love to go out with you - I winked at him before letting go.

- You are really ... my heart is not going to have a minute of peace from now on, is it?

- I will try to take it easy on you Diggory, but I don't know if I will be able to do it for long.

An hour later I left to look for Hermione with a promise from Cedric, we would meet again next week.

Helpless II || Harry Potter

Par: George Weasley x Reader

Helpless II || Harry Potter

Summary: You are one of the students of the Beauxbatons commission and like the others you are determined to win the Triwizard Tournament but instead of the Goblet of Fire, you ended this season at Hogwarts with something better.

Word Count: 2,0 k

N / A: This story is based on the Helpless of the musical Hamilton and if you want, I recommend listening to the song along with the lyrics.

Part I

Helpless II || Harry Potter

As I had promised, here I am to tell everything that happened after the first Christmas with George Weasley in my life.

After Christmas, we returned to Hogwarts, as we would remain there until the end of the Triwizard Tournament and I couldn't be more excited about the course my life had taken, although it wasn't always easy.

Our classes continued normally in the huge carriage that brought us and I couldn't even think of my notes falling, especially if it reached my parents' ears that the cause of this had been a boy, they would freak out. But who said George would understand this?

- I promise we will be back in time for you to finish this boring activity of ... what is it? I do not believe that I am being left aside for a potions essay - he said after straightening himself in the chair next to me, but the false disappointment remained on his face.

- The longer you continue to distract me, the longer it will take me to finish - I replied calmly without taking my eyes off the parchment and I know very well that it bothered him even more.

- Okay, I tried to do it the easy way but I have no other choice, Miss Aubert - I looked at him with one eyebrow raised as the redhead stretched his arms.

I didn't expect him to tickle me and even less that we were going to be expelled from the library because we were getting in the way of “who was really there to study”

- Well, now you have plenty of time, don't you? - He smiled and I had the impression that the entire hall lit up, but that didn't change the fact that I was angry.

- You are unbelievable George Weasley - I started walking faster through the corridors and I could hear his laughter and his footsteps approaching perfectly.

- And you're going to have to do better than that to get rid of me, love - I felt your arm around my shoulder and I couldn't help smiling.

  - Love? This is new - I noticed the redness running down his cheeks, this is something I don't see often, so I enjoyed the moment as much as possible - everything alright, love? Is it hot?

- Let's leave these materials in that mega carriage before we go to Hogsmeade - he took my hand and pulled me out into the garden while I laughed a lot.

This was one of the best days of our relationship, first because from then on he started calling me love and second, because it was our first date, officially.

A month later, the entire castle already knew about the new couple of the moment and of course, all the Weasleys who studied there were the first to write it down, after all we didn't try to hide anything from anyone. At least he didn't try.

I could classify my father as a bit of a protector in the best of circumstances, so I vehemently pleaded with Alexia not to comment on this in any of the letters she sent home, and I thought I had managed to keep this topic away from them.

Two weeks later

In the living room stressin '

- I'm really sorry, I didn't even realize that I told about you guys... they are downstairs - her eyes overflowed with guilt.

- It’s okay Alexia, it was going to happen eventually but I just didn't expect it to be so soon - I left my boyfriend's warm embrace and walked over to my sister, then hugging her too.

- There is no reason to worry, if there is one thing that a Weasley does well is to conquer, who would resist this charm? - He pointed to himself with a smug smile and then I knew we would be fine, because I know how determined he can be.

My father's serious look poured cold water in my happiness, I always hated that look. When I was a child and I had done something wrong, he would not say anything to me, he just stared at me and then left me grounded, as if he had been too disappointed to speak. The worst feeling my sister and I ever experience is this, knowing that we disappointed them.

My father's stone-faced

While you're asking for his blessin’

We both sat on a relatively distant couch while the redhead took control of the situation. I don't know what my parents expected to find, but I'm sure I saw the surprised expression on my mother’s face. At any moment I thought it would be difficult to win her over and he seemed to realize it too.

The three of them were seated, I couldn't hear anything they were saying and it was making me more nervous every second.

- I was thinking, what is the worst thing he can do? You are already of age, they will have to accept - my sister insisted and I would agree but my mind had already wandered to the worst possible options.

Before I could respond properly, they stopped talking and then George came over to our couch with a calm expression.

- They want to talk to you now,  family stuff etc. I'm going to wait here, okay? - I got up immediately and felt his hand squeezing mine gently before he sat where I was.

I'm dying inside as you wine and dine

And I'm tryin 'not to cry

'Cause there's nothing that your mind can't do (ooh)

- Why didn't you tell us, honey? Is there anything else we don't know? We have always given you the freedom to speak freely with us - my mother asked, holding my shoulder gently.

- Because it was too early for that and because I knew you two were going to exaggerate. Was it really necessary to come here for this? - I was trying my best to contain my frustrations or this conversation would change to an agitated discussion.

- Of course it was, how would I know if this boy is suitable for my daughter? I don't know his family and I try to maintain a good relationship with all the good families here - both my father's voice and his gaze were firm on me.

- Love, you are a judge. It's a good sign not to know the Weasleys than to know for a bad reason, isn't it? - and for this and other reasons that I love my mom.

- Well, I suppose so but.. - he was going to keep thinking about excuses for not approving George at all and we both knew that - but, our train leaves in a few hours and I won't spend more time than necessary here, so let's go ahead - she completed getting up and dad looked at her wordlessly.

My father makes his way across the room to you (ooh)

I panic for a second, thinking, "We're through" (ooh)

- You're absolutely right and that's exactly what I'm going to do now - he too got up and his walk to my boyfriend passed slowly before my eyes.

- I don't think it was a good idea to press him like that, he didn't even think about it… - I said more to myself than to the woman next to me, but she heard it anyway.

- He wouldn't do anything to make you sad on purpose, let's just ... - she immediately stopped talking.

But then he shakes your hand and says, "Be true" (ooh)

And you turn back to me, smiling, and

I could barely believe what my eyes were seeing, my dad shaking hands with the redhead and smiling, as if it hadn't had no problem at any time. Soon after, my parents said goodbye to us and left.

- I warned you, there's nothing a Weasley can't do - there were a few moments that I saw him with a smile as big as this one.

- Well, at least this is over and we can go back to normality - I couldn't help but hug him, very relieved.

- And why were you so worried? Your dad was incredibly reasonable, I was expecting something much worse - his hands were running gently through my hair and I could stay like that all day.

Helpless

Look into your eyes

And the sky's the limit

I'm helpless

- He sure is, but sometimes he also crosses the line a bit. Aren't your parents like that? - I asked resting my chin on his shoulder.

- Well, my mom may be a little protective, but she will love you, not as much as I do, but it will be enough - I pulled away so I could analyze his face.

- And do you love me that much? - I didn't even try to contain my smile while asking this, we hadn't said I love you to each other yet, only indirectly.

- Of course, darling - he came closer to me and kissed me, the kind of kiss that speaks more than a thousand words and I didn't have to struggle to understand each one of them.

Down for the count (hoo)

And I'm drownin' in 'em

Helpless (that boy is mine)

That boy is mine

- It's still early, there's still time to go to Hogsmeade - he said after giving me one last peck and holding my hand.

- Yes, we can meet the others there too - I turned to ask Alexia to go with us, but she was no longer there, so we were completely alone.

We walked hand in hand the whole way, it turned out that we only met our group of friends at the end of the day, when Fred, Katie, Lino and Angelina entered the Three Broomsticks and joined our table.

We took the opportunity to tell what had happened that afternoon. After a few hours had passed, I even thought it was funny and everyone made fun of it except Fred, who decided to boast himself with his brother.

- If you had chosen the handsome twin, this would not have happened, darling. He would just need to take a look to know he wouldn't have found a better man for his daughter - he winked at me before taking another sip of his butterbeer.

- With a look he would be sure that you are the definition of a problem, which it’s the 100 reason why I don't regret my decisions - I replied with a smirk as everyone laughed, even himself.

- You hurt me this time, what a cruel woman you’re dating George - he put his hand on his heart and his expression became the most dramatic I have ever seen in my life.

- Is it a requirement to be quite dramatic to be part of the family, right? At first I thought it was an English thing but I realized that it's just you - again we all laughed and I felt a strong arm go around my shoulders.

- Don't worry love, in that case you will definitely be accepted  - he was still laughing and it was my turn to put my hands on my heart, I didn't expect a direct attack from him.

- George Weasley, who said I’m dramatic ?! - I gave his arm a light slap and completely ignored our friends' laughter and Fred's approving smile as well.

Look into your eyes and the sky's the limit

I'm helpless (helpless)

Down for the count and I'm drownin 'in em (yeah)

The rest of the year brought me many moments like this, it also brought some difficult moments because life is not only made from ups but as we were, most of the time, beside each other, even the worst moments became precious memories, which I would keep with all the esteem in the world.

There are a lot of things that I couldn't say or that I couldn't put into words at the moment, but even so, I hope he knows the change he has made in me.

Tetrachromat II || Harry Potter

Summary: How would Cedric react when he discovers your little superpower?

Word Count: 1,5k

N / A: Tetrachromatism or tetrachromacy comes from the mixture of two words of Greek origin,"tetra"means "four" and "Chroma" which means "color". A tetrachromat person has 4 cell cones, instead of 3, which is more common and this makes him sensitive to a wider color spectrum.

Part I

Tetrachromat II || Harry Potter

It was exactly two weeks ago that Cedric and I were going out, as I worked as a teacher and he was trying to follow his father’s steps at the Ministry, we agreed to meet on the weekends and in the meantime we exchanged several letters.

Today is a Friday and I was expecting the last father to pick up her daughter so I could lock the classroom and go home.

- Miss Wright, look at my drawing! It’s you! - The smiling girl got up from the plastic chair and came running excitedly to my table.

- It is beautiful my love, you will be an incredible artist in the future - I replied with a smile, giving a brief pat on the top of her tiny head before she waddled back to her place.

I took one last look at the stick pink woman before folding it carefully, but something caught my attention before I put the paper in my folder, it was as if my world had been filled with colors all at once.

- Cedric? - before I knew it, my legs guided me to the half-open door, where he had knocked a few seconds after I recognized his presence.

My mind passed through a whirlwind of thoughts but my mouth did not open once.

- I didn't think I was going to surprise you at that point - the sincere smile remained on his face - your father brought me, lucky me that he was home at this time - I could see a different gleam in his eyes when he looked at my dear student.

She was looking at us since the door opened, her curiosity would not allow her to miss a second of the scene that passed before her eyes.

- Is that your boyfriend, Miss Wright? He's more handsome than I expected - I felt the redness take over my cheeks and it didn't seem to matter to them.

- Cedric Diggory at your service, and what's your name, miss? - he said as he approached the round table where the little girl was still seated, and then he held out his hand towards her, leaning about her height.

- Marie - her little hand found his and her face was not far from mine, his charm could even conquer a stone and worst of all, he was aware of it.

- It is a pleasure to meet you Marie - he straightened his posture and walked slowly to the nearest wall, decorated with various drawings and activities that we had done during this year, analysing them carefully.

My agitation was gradually fading and again the silence reigned in the room for a few seconds, someone else was present with a knock on the door.

- Daddy! - the man’s face lit up when he saw that little ray of sunlight running to embrace him and for a few seconds I witnessed a kind of love that is not found anywhere.

- Hi my love - he picked her up with only one hand while the other was busy holding a black briefcase with no details - I'm sorry for the delay, Miss Wright, it won't happen twice.

- No problem Mrs. Jones, I understand that sometimes work is really complicated. Have a nice day and see you tomorrow Marie - I waved and the last thing I saw was her little hands waving back before the door was closed.

I noticed a movement behind me and then I remembered that I was not alone as usual, when I turned around I found Cedric sitting in my chair, dedicating his attention to the drawing in his hands.

- You forgot to mention that you worked with extremely adorable children - he didn't look up to speak to me, still focused on the paper.

- I am quite sure that I wrote this at some point, although most of the time it is the complete opposite. You were lucky today - I replied calmly approaching him with a small smile.

- Does this mean that I should come again ?? - his hands went around my waist and brought me closer to him, even though he was still sitting on the chair.

- Hmmm, considering that the whole class will end up knowing that anyway, why not? You didn't tell me you were good with children - I said as my fingers roamed through his locks.

- I didn't know it myself, it seems that it is a new talent discovered. You can make me your assistant any of these days - his expression was calm and satisfied, at a point I hadn't seen yet.

- I'm going to think of a way for the coordinator don't deny this idea, but for now, we have to go Ced - I spoke seriously but I didn't try to get out of that hug, which is one of the best hugs I ever had the chance to receive.

- Doesn't someone have to come clean before that? - His voice was muffled because his face was pressed against my belly while his arms remained firm around me.

- The class is spotless, so it's not necessary, but I'll only be able to move if you let me go… Cedric! - I laughed softly as soon as I saw his expression of disappointment but he soon let me go.

It was already around 4 o'clock, the sun was covered by clouds in the sky and a cool wind gently blew the leaves from the trees. I didn't realize that Cedric had stopped walking, as I was still enjoying the calm until I heard him.

- How did you know I was at the door? - I turned around with a frown, finally noticing the distance between us.

- What do you mean? - questioning was my first instinct but soon the realization passed through my face, so he had heard me.

- You guessed it was me at the door, how did you do that? You are not secretly a witch, are you? - his long steps soon reached where I was, his gaze never left my face.

- Well, I already thought about that possibility but unfortunately not. I was waiting for the moment to tell you that. It's a little difficult to explain ... - Ced remained silent but took my hand.

- I have a rather special feature, not the talent of guessing things, but I see the world in a different way - I took a deep breath before continuing - the colors work differently for people like me.

- And how is this related to the fact that you see through the walls? - the amusement in his voice made me smile.

- I saw your colors first, this is the hard part to explain but basically everything here has color around itself, including both of us - I was unsure of what to expect from him, considering that many people considered me a liar or a freak when I told them this fact about me.

- Really?? This is like a superpower! Why didn’t you mention it before? This sounds pretty cool - his face went through several emotions at the same time, but none close to what I expected.

- Well, not many people know about it, I didn't know what your reaction would be - without trying, I was smiling broadly.

- And what are my colors? It would be quite ironic if one of them is yellow - again his right arm found its way to my shoulders and we started walking again.

- I've never seen this before, but you're all of them Ced. It was the first thing that caught my attention about you - the surprise on your face was evident and he smirked.

- All of them? Well, that explains why you barely managed to take your eyes off me when we first met - and then I stopped walking.

- What?? Certainly not, I remember the exact opposite of that - I crossed my arms looking at him and he had the audacity to laugh

- It is so easy to provoke you, come on missy anger, we have a date to go to - he took my hand and guided me far away from there.

Later on, while we were eating, this topic returned and I confessed that people's negative reaction had made me extremely insecure and so, whenever possible, I tried to live like a normal person would.

- You will never be normal but the way you see the world makes you more beautiful in my eyes and in the eyes of those who care about you too. It can be difficult but let's focus on that - he told me with his usual sweet voice and loving eyes.

And in that moment, for the first time, I completely understood why he was a rainbow to me.

All Too Well||Harry Potter

I was used to the pain, both physical and emotional. After a week of Tonks and Lupin's funeral, everything was empty and the pain was numb, I had no hope that this would end anytime soon.

Largo Grimmauld's house had stayed for me, but after everything that happened, I couldn't even think of putting my feet there. To be fair, anywhere I could possibly go would have memories that are too painful to bear, so I rented a room in the Leaky Cauldron until I had an idea of what to do with my life. I just didn't imagine it would take so long for that to happen.

Almost a month after the War was over, I had the willpower to go to the bank, as I was the last Black alive, everything that was in the coffers of those horrible people was now mine and they needed my consent to make the transfer.

To be honest I wish I had set fire to everything but unfortunately I needed money, my savings were almost over but I swore, even as a new millionaire, that I would not use anything more than necessary and that as soon as I had a job, I would return every penny, the minimum to make my father proud.

The next step took a few more days, visiting the abandoned house at Largo Grimmauld. For a few seconds I waited to see Kreacher there, which is really ironic, his bad mood would be the most comforting thing for me at the moment.

The pictures continued to scream, the mess was still in place, nothing new. There was no way I could live there at all, the few months I spent there were only possible because my father was there, Harry was there and obviously Mrs. Weasley's food helped a lot.

I haven't seen her since the Battle of Hogwarts, I knew that no Weasley would be against my visit, after all we were allies and even friends but I couldn't make it. They are dealing with their own losses and I know that He is there too.

He, it’s been a long time since I didn’t think about him or at least I wanted to fool myself thinking so. In the past year nothing has been able to take the eminent worry out of my heart, not for me but for him.

As I looked around the dusty room, I realized the stupid idea I had, here was the climax of my relationship with Harry.

- They would be very proud, you know - I said quietly looking at the brunette in the corner of my eye, he was looking at that picture again - not only because you are fighting as you can but because you are still you, you are still Harry, only Harry.

We were silent for a few seconds until I could see his green eyes staring at me in the pitch of the cold night, with only one lamp on and then he smiled, for how long I didn’t see his eyes shine so brightly?

- I guess only you think so but that's okay, I like just being Harry with you - he took one of my hands and we stayed like that, in silence, a moment of peace and quiet.

I felt an overwhelming urge to cry but I didn't allow myself to. Not after all this time that I was fixing the broken pieces of me. I took a deep breath and looked around, even though I knew there would be no one there, I went upstairs to my room.

Big mistake again, I already knew what would be waiting for me up there.

- Harry, what are you doing here ?? My dad will kill you if he finds out you are in my room! - I was in shock with the little love he had for his own life, since Sirius' room was right next to mine.

- And who said he needs to find out? In fact, we are not doing anything inappropriate, I just… - he didn't want to admit it, but it was always obvious, the dark circles under his eyes gave away his sleepless nights.

The only thing I did was make room on the bed, which was enough to make him smile and lie down with me. We didn't sleep, we just kept talking until the tiredness won us over but even without sleep, I felt that I was helping in some way.

I walked calmly through the room, it was the same way I had left it, the bed untied and the light blue paint already peeling, I opened the closet and started to take some clothes off the hangers.

I was sure that I would return there, that everything would work out, that I could somehow form a home at some point and how wrong I was...

The third step towards my full recovery was one of the most difficult decisions I had to make. Admitting that there was no more space for me in London, that I was alone and I could do nothing about it, that I needed to leave everything behind and start over once and for all.

In the meantime, I often visited that house. I was not ready to let go, even the things I hated the most there, which is basically everything.

The last step was to say goodbye, so I visited Tonks and Lupin’s grave, I also visited Andromeda for the first time and finally met Teddy Lupin. He was adorable as I had imagined, with his mother's colored hair.

I said that I needed to be away for a while and she replied the only thing I didn't expect to hear.

- I understand dear, but know that you can always have a home here with us - her voice gave me a comfort that I didn't know I needed until then.

- I will remember it fondly and I will really come back, I want to be in the life of this little one here, if you let me - and then, her response came with a motherly hug, I couldn't contain myself anymore.

I couldn't take the weight of the pain alone and she didn't say one word until I calmed down. If I wasn’t as broken as I knew I was, I wouldn't have left her house anytime soon.

Apparating in front of the Burrow wasn't the most difficult part, even though I didn't completely master the apparition. I changed my mind at least 10 times before I reached the door and another 5 times before I knocked.

The sky was completely black, but the storm clouds covered the view of the moon and stars, no sound from inside the house was made and so I tried again and waited patiently.

- Y/N… my dear, what are you doing here in the middle of the night? Come in, you must be cold - the red-haired woman was wearing a purple robe and the only change I noticed was her tired eyes and lacking the natural glow inside them.

- I'm sorry for suddenly appearing here Molly, I wanted to say goodbye - I spoke as soon as I entered the room, almost as cold as outside.

- Are you moving dear? You should have warned me before, I could have made you a farewell party - she guided me to the kitchen and I was sure I wouldn't leave without a cup of tea.

I tried to stay as calm as possible, but I couldn't convince my heart to do the same. The sofa, the dining table and even the stairs...

- RONALD WEASLEY COME HERE NOW - the irritated voice of the matriarch echoed across the walls of the house, giving goosebumps to those who were unused, that is, Harry and me.

- It's always like that? - I asked slightly intimidated to the boy with glasses next to me.

- You haven't seen anything yet - said Ron as he passed us on the stairs and went down to face his mother's anger over some mess he had made.

We were 12 years old and I couldn't say that we were close friends, who would be friends with the daughter of a murderous traitor? Why did they invite me? I didn't even remember.

- And where do you want to go? I've heard of several good places to live in the countryside - the smell of tea brought me to reality and then I noticed his gaze under me.

- Well, I'm going to spend some time in the United States - I replied with the confidence that still remained in my body, if it had been in another situation I would have found the expression of surprise on her face really amusing.

We stayed for a few seconds in silence drinking tea until she answered me a little more calmly.

- If you're sure, I can only tell you to take care and keep in touch. I understand that this adaptation period has not been easy for any of us. If that's what you need to heal yourself ... - her face fell a bit and I noticed right away.

- Do you want to hear about the place where I'm staying? - I asked with a small smile and little by little she got excited again.

As I did not want to bother her beyond the point I already was, after the tea we said goodbye with a hug still in the kitchen, when we arrived in the living room we hugged again and I had the same feeling as when I hugged Andromeda earlier. I never had a mother and after so long, it seems that I got two maternal figures who really cared about me.

- Don't forget to send me a lot of pictures, okay? - before I could answer, we both turned around as soon as we heard a noise on the stairs.

There was no one there and even if there was, it would be difficult to distinguish a silhouette in the middle of the darkness formed in that area, but for a few seconds I managed to see an unowned foot before it disappeared.

- I really need to go Molly, can you tell the others that I'll be in touch soon, please? - she confirmed with a smile and I left without giving a second look at that staircase.

Why was he spying and listening to the conversation? My life has been around the actions of Harry Potter for a long time, but it has been years since the direct contact was over, until now. Why now? Why do I have to remember him again? Why do I have to walk around being a shadow of what I once was?

- Can you sit down and talk to me? - His voice sounded irritated for no plausible reason.

- Oh sure, do you want me to sit and listen to all the reasons why you don’t love me anymore? Do you want to put more salt on the wound or what? - my usual sarcasm was multiplied by 1000, even though I knew that Harry hated that.

I didn't wait for an answer and immediately left his empty dormitory towards the Gryffindor common room, which by luck or a lot of planning on his part, was also empty.

- You know that I have strong feelings for you, but not as befor- can you grow a little at least once? - his steps came behind me and I felt his gaze piercing my back, until I couldn't take it anymore and I turned to look at him.

- You already made your point clear yesterday Harry, if you want to break up alright, but I will not be silent hearing about how you fell in love with another girl- and for the first time he did not answer me back - Yeah, do you really think that I wouldn't notice? I was the first to see it, believe it or not. My mistake was to close my eyes and pretend that everything was fine between us.

He found no words to answer me and I was too tired to hear anything else.

- I will return your things and you can feel free to do whatever you want to, our conversation is over.

Some women passed behind me in the bathroom, I knew what was going on in their heads, "what's wrong with her?" or "why is she crying?" but I didn't mind and kept looking straight into that foggy airport mirror.

As soon as the door slammed and I knew I was alone for a few minutes, I closed my eyes and then made a promise to myself.

- I'll be back and I won't even remember why I had to forget you in the first place.

Imagine Showing Up On The Door Step Of The Dursley’s To Pickup Harry

image

Y/N: *mutters* Ah here we are, 4 Privet Drive I think.

Knocks on door and Vernon opens.

Vernon: Who are you?-

Y/N: No time for questions my dear man where is Harry?

Y/N pushes past Vernon and into the living room.

Vernon: Harry? Are you one of his wizard magic friends, your kind aren't welcome here-

Y/N: Oh shut it you blithering fool.

Marge: What are you smirking at boy?

Harry: Nothing.

Y/N: *grins* Hmm, maybe I’ll let this one play out.

Marge: Where are you Vernon?

Vernon: Here! *whispers quickly* If you do anything unseemly I will be calling the police.

Y/N: Don’t worry, we’ll be off in a jiffy!

Vernon: *to Marge* St Brutus’s, it’s a fine institution for hopeless cases.

image

Marge: Do they use a cane at St Brutus boy?

Harry: Oh yes

Marge: Good. *to Vernon* You mustn't blame yourself for how this one turned out Vernon. It’s all to do with bad blood. Wasn’t his dad a drunk?

Harry: That's a lie!

Marge’s Wine glass bursts

Y/N: *spits out* No more than you Marjorie Eileen Dursley.

All turn to Y/N

Vernon: *hurriedly* Ah, a friend of Harry! From St Brutus.

Marge: *frowns* Isn’t St Brutus for boys?

Harry: *whispers* Who are you?

Y/N: All in due time my boy *winks*

Y/N: *turns to Marge* Better watch your mouth wench.

Marge: Silence child. *to Harry* Clean it up. Anyways, its got nothing to do with the father, if there’s something wrong with the bitch, there’s something wrong with the pup.

image

Harry: Shut up! You don’t know anything!

Y/N: *smirks, leans back and watches* I told you to watch your words Marge.

Marge: Right, let me tell you

Marge begins to swell up.

image

Y/N: *chuckles quietly* Alright well, it’s been lovely to see you Dursley's but we must be off, Harry, pack your things we are leaving.

Harry: Who are you? And where to?

Y/N: *smiles* Home.

Y/N walks upstairs.

Harry: *follows* You still haven't told me who you are...
