Toothless Window Cling

Hiii! So, I did a little art project the other day! so, I made a window/mirror cling of toothless from How to Train Your Dragon! It took two hours but it was totally worth it! Instructions are underneath the picture!

Supplies you need: 1. Contact paper, 2. Black construction paper, 3. Two or more hours, 4. Duct tape, 5. Scissors (optional: tissue paper- to add color and a printout of what you want to draw).

How to make: Take your contact paper and lay it down on a flat surface, sticky side up. Under the contact paper, put down the printout if you have one, design side up. Tape down the top and bottom. if there is a piece of paper on top of it, put the tape under it. take off the piece of paper if needed (don't throw it away in case you don't want to attach it to a window or mirror). now, you have the contact paper, sticky side up, tapped down to the flat surface and the printout underneath if you have one. cut your black construction paper into strips and keep your scissors handy! you can cut the strips as you wish and just stick them onto the contact paper in whatever design you want. if you have a printout, you can put the black strips of paper on the outlines. if you choose to use tissue paper, you can put that on after the outline is done.

Tips and tricks:

When you pick out a printout, make sure it isn't too complicated or you will get frustrated easily!

When you are putting the construction paper down, make sure to note that it may be hard to peel off after you put it down

Tissue paper will not come off easily. use with caution.

You can replace tissue paper with something else if you want :D

Make way for some Dreamworks villains babyyyy

🌸a few observations🌸  - I’ve never watched a single second of Sinbad but Eris gets to be here bc she pretty  - I’ve also never seen madagascar 3 but my bestie said the police lady is cool so she’s also here  - The villains from Wallace and Gromit and Flushed Away are gems but there wasnt any space left for them sorry my dudes  - The fact that I drew a fricking biblical villain on the same page as an evil simp with a crappy hero costume says a lot about Dreamworks and that’s why I love them (also shoutout to Schaffrillas Productions on YouTube his videos on Dreamworks are amazing and made me fall in love with this studio again)

 Overall, I really like The Hidden World, but that won’t stop me from making an au where I change pretty much the whole story just for the fun of it. Here are some messy sketches of ideas I wanted to get out.

So, if anyone wants to know about it:  - the light fury is controlled by deathgripper venom and she’s one of Grimmel’s main battle dragons. (Changed her design a bit just bc I wanted to)  - Hiccup is captured by the night fury killer at some point. He ends up bonding with the light fury, who is conscious some of the time, even with the venom. They share their fear, their pain. He offers her a name, and she accepts it, so he calls her Moonbite.  - Eventually they escape (or get rescued idk) and Moonbite stays living close to New Berk. She still doesn’t feel safe around humans and prefers that they stay away, but trusts Hiccup enough to let his friends and allies be close to her (although, she will attack if she feels threatened in even the slightest).

 She hated and feared humans. How could it be different? A human took away her freedom and made her live for blood and death. All she hoped for, every single day, was that the needles in her neck would break so she could finally kill him and fly with her own wings, her own mind. But he was cautious and smart, and she felt more and more hopeless each day, and less willing to fight the venom. Why not just let it consume her mind fully, and live in an eternal haze like the other poisoned dragons?  But then, another human appeared.  A prisioner, just like her. She didn’t care for him at first. Humans and her petty fights weren’t her business, after all. But then... She noticed how he always whispered in soothing voices for the other imprisioned dragons. How he was willing to let the grisly human break all of his bones, even, if that meant no other dragon would suffer. So, she started staying by his side at the lonely late nights. Out of curiosity, at first. And he talked and talked about his human and dragon friends and how this “toothless” would love to meet her. And he kept saying how he would get them both out of there. How he would give her back her life.  She didn’t really think he could. But she knew she was willing to protect him just as much as he was to protect the dragons.

Happy 5th Anniversary to Httyd3 the Hidden World

Your Are Beautiful ending to my Favorite Movie Trilogy of all Time and some of the few Movie Franchises that I really care about. You were amazing, Beautiful and you make Me cry every time I Watch you. I‘m grateful that you exist in your World and That you summed everything up perfectly. Your a Masterpiece of an ending to a great Story that always feels to Me like a Story from a Book that comes to Live (funny because your Story is based on a book-Series). And as it is with Stories they‘re must be an end and I‘m so happy we get this delightful ending with very Good messages that we all should hold close to our hearts. We shouldn’t beg for more, we should just be happy what we have with this Story that means so much to so Many People. I know its very Hard to let Go of something That is near to your Heart But sometimes it is for the Best. To let Go is Not a weakness its a strenght and This Movie shows it perfectly. This is One of the best endings you could ask for in Movie History and as a Fan. Still best ending to a DreamWorks Movie, hell even Puss in Boots2 couldn’t beat this ending. But this just my opinion.

A carpet of hundreds of stars sprinkled the onyx-colored night sky over New Berk in all its silvery beauty. The village had gradually become quiet except for the Haddocks' residence where there was an after party after an extensive party in the Great Hall with the family introducing their youngest member to the people. To celebrate the evening, Astrid's father had made his famous tuna rolls with a bowl of salad, which he now served on the terrace of the house. “Who wants a roll?” he asked his son-in-law, who was sitting opposite his friends Snotlout, Fishlegs and Tuffnut. Hiccup smiled kindly at his tall father-in-law and took a roll from the tray. “Say, how do you pronounce your little one’s name again?” Snotlout asked with a raised eyebrow as he grabbed three rolls from Magnus’ tray. „Linka," Hiccup repeated for the hundred thousandth time tonight. Tuffnut grinned amusedly over at Fishlegs as he petted his chicken. “Speaking of Links, dear Mr. Ingermann still owes me ten galleons.” Fishlegs rolled his eyes in annoyance and handed Tuff the money, which he immediately counted happily. “You bet what name our baby will have?” Astrid, who was sitting next to Hiccup with her little daughter in her arms, interrupted. Ruffnut, who was playing with the fingers of her most beloved Throk, who was in the middle of a conversation with Mala and Dagur, shrugged her shoulders with a large mug of beer in her hand. “We’ve been doing it since the first one.” Astrid and Hiccup looked at each other in shock, then they could only smile. Hiccup lovingly placed his hand on his wife's thigh, a smile playing on her lips as he touched the soft skin of her cheek with his delicate lips. Astrid placed her hand over Hiccup's and squeezed it tightly. The little baby in her arms reached out to reach out to her father. “Well little mouse, do you want to go to your daddy?” Little Linka chuckled as her mother passed her into her father's arms, who rocked her gently in his arms and gave her a little kiss on the forehead. Suddenly Zephyr and Nuffink, who had just been playing with Dagur and Mala's children, came running and ran into their parents' arms, while the two of them let the little toy dragon figures slide over their little sister again. “Here comes the Flightmare,” Nuffink announced. “Look Linka, how beautifully blue he is.” “And here comes the Hideous Zippelback, he has two heads, one spews gas and the other ignites it with sparks,” Zephyr explained to her little sister while she let the figure dance in the air. From the corner of their eyes, Hiccup and Astrid saw Ruff and Tuff exchanging cheeky but sad grins. "Long live Barf and Belch." Astrid leaned on Hiccup's shoulder, watching her children interact with each other and her numerous friends chatting with each other. She enjoyed the gentle caresses Hiccup gave her back as she watched the steady movements of the flames. Still, she had the feeling that something was missing, that someone specific was missing.

After an hour the afterparty was over. Hiccup and Astrid had put Zephyr and Nuffink to bed and had retreated to their room with little Linka. Little Feyre was nuzzling her mother's nipple when Hiccup came out of the bathroom next door, his hair wet and only a towel wrapped around his waist. He put on a pair of long, loose trousers before he went to Astrid, gave her a kiss on the forehead and then took her little daughter, who had fallen asleep on her mother's bosom. He gently stroked her back while holding her to his bare chest. Astrid, who was holding his hand, looked up at him and smiled. She watched as Hiccup rocked her little daughter back and forth in his arms, constantly kissing her on her head and on her cheeks, and whispering to her. Astrid got out of bed, everything felt so perfect, but still an unfathomable emptiness spread in her heart that she hadn't felt in several years. Lost in thought, she strolled around the room, looking up at the map of the barbaric archipelago. Her fingers glided over the small wooden figures that represented Stormfly and Toothless. Stormfly. Astrid's heart became heavy at the thought that her beloved dragon could not be with her on this special day. She missed the Nadder's friendly nature so much, her playfulness, the morning flights, training together... She opened the large window to the balcony, a warm breeze ran through her hair and stirred up some strands that fell onto her face. She only noticed in passing how Hiccup put Linka in her crib before putting on a shirt. Her gaze was focused solely on the endless starry sky. She jumped for a brief moment as Hiccup put his arm around her, holding her tightly to him. "You miss her, don't you?" Astrid nodded, tears soaking her vision as she finally let them flow. Hiccup gave her a kiss on the forehead. “I know how you feel, Honey, I miss Toothless terribly too. But don't worry, they'll be fine." Astrid nodded weakly, tried to blink away the tears, but they kept coming. "It is good. Let it all out,” Hiccup whispered to her. Astrid looked out to the sea, towards the hidden world that lay hidden far out in the endless expanse of the ocean. And she wondered if she missed Stormfly as much as she missed her. She couldn't have known that Stormfly, who was flying over a lake in the hidden world with her three children, but kept glancing towards the entrance, was wondering exactly the same thing. Even though it hurt both of their hearts, they knew that they were connected to each other forever. Even if they were separated by endless miles.

I just had to correct him on Stoicks side here in the flashbacks. That’s actually not a reckon it’s a different side from his Character. He tried to be the best father he could in a world where dragons are common threat. He was just softer in their early years because it was easier to protect him. This got harder and harder when Hiccup got older. It shows us a softer, more sensitive side of Stoick we first saw glimpses of it in the first and second movie. For example the smile He gave Hiccup in the end of httyd1 and the dancing and the dreaming sequence with Valka in httyd2.

Sry for this long explaination, I just can’t stand when People say the third movie ignores the other two for whatever reason. It does the exact opposite: it takes the foundations that were lay out in the first two and expand them beautifully.

Also you have to watch Cinema Therapy, they analyzed Hiccstrids Releationship trough out the Trilogy and the most interesting is when Astrid gives Hiccup a talk before the battle.

I love httyd3 and I am not ashamed to say it out loud! I like the message, the scenery, Hiccup and Toothless‘ growth on both sides, Hiccstrid, the relationship between the riders, the hidden world, how all was done with so much love and care, the depths behind many scenes, the epilogue, the song together from afar, the fact that the third movie expands everything in such a beautiful way, the emotional moments that hit really hard, the flashbacks with Stoick, the theme of love, the fact that everyone has something to do in this film,…

Idk care if other people say the movie is bad or mid, I like this movie because I love Hiccup and Toothless‘ Story. I love Httyd with all my heart and I will not let the negativity ruin my experience with it.

Httyd3 Fans scream it out loud that you love this movie, it doesn’t matter what the fandom says aslong as you like this movie. I hope this movie will get more love as time goes on like Shrek 4 for example and I hope more people will say what they love about it and that the fans of thw will finally rise. If T9R fans can do it, so why couldn’t we? It doesn’t matter if people don’t like this movie or this show, this doesn’t automatically mean it’s bad.

One of the best lines in the entire franchise ❤️❤️🥹🥹💕💕💕❣️❣️❣️ I love the maturity of the final film so much it’s just beautiful ❤️‍🔥I hope so much this movie will get more praise and love as time goes on, it would really deserve it.

As same as we got THAT from a lanky Viking Man with a twig of a neck and fluffy hair, who got a bit buffed with 31 or maybe it’s just his armor 🤔

Hiccstrid Kids Shorts 🥰 Who doesn’t love these two cuties? What I love about this is that the author also shows us, how much Astrid misses Stormfly in chapter 2.

The most underrated dragon species and the joker of the night furies. They are equally dangerous yet so different and powerful in behavior and attacks. The Night Furies are the natural enemies of these cruel creatures.

Can I just say that I absolutely love the overarching theme for HTTYD3 (or one of several). The idea that with love comes loss but love is still worth it. It’s not teaching this fairytale-ish notion that love heals all or love is the answer to everything and with love all of your problems are solved. There is, of course, a time and a place for those types of stories but this…This god damn so-called animated children’s film is teaching the notion that love and loss are a package deal. You cannot have one without the other; it’s unavoidable, it’s literally impossible and that sucks but that doesn’t make love any less worth it even for the short time that it might occur. That is such an important lesson to learn over the course of your life and the fact that it’s in a god damn kids movie is so amazing to me. It’s one of the most mature lessons I’ve ever seen in a children’s film. 

That along with learning how to let go and knowing when to let go and learning that…you know what? Sometimes you really do have to let go of things/people you love…my god, I love this film. 

Httyd3: the hidden world

I personally disagree with a lot of people who say this movie is bad, because I personally really enjoyed it. I watched it ten or eleven times total, if you count the first time I saw it. It has a really great, mature story with an excellent message about love and loss and letting go. Love was always a theme in the trilogy but here they scored with it in every way possible with the fact that every character is bond to it, like Hiccup and Astrid or Hiccup and Toothless. There is some reality to this movie that makes it on doubtfully beautiful and let it feel more realistic, because with the theme of loss everyone has a story to tell. Love and Loss always comes as a backache, you can’t have the one without the other.

I hope I will show with this post, how much my friends and I love this movie, even though we have our little nitpicks. We think that it gets too much unesassarcy hate. Maybe some day they will see as much good in it as for Shrek 4.
