________________________________

the days that followed after your first training session passed very smoothly. so smooth in fact that it made you question if there was something wrong with getou. he hadn’t spoken to you more than absolutely necessary, and he didn’t bother to tease or chastise you once during the following training sessions. you couldn’t figure out why his change in demeanor bothered you so much, you should feel nothing but hatred for the man for taking you prisoner, but it seemed your soul still sheltered a soft spot for him.

you were unable to tell just how long you had been kept captive in getou’s realm, the days seemed to pass by much quicker in his vacation realm than they did in the real world. with the passing of days you began to form a daily routine, waking up to fresh clothes placed at the end of your bed by the house spirits, getting up to make yourself breakfast, and following that up with a training session with getou. training was the only time you would see him throughout the day. you knew he was avoiding you, but you couldn’t figure out why. you thought maybe it was because you slapped him that one day, but you quickly determined that the slap was well deserved on suguru’s part and dismissed the thought all together.

getou did his best to minimize the time he spent around you. after the night the two of you shared, separated only by the thin bedroom walls, getou decided that he must not allow lust to cloud his better judgment anymore. getou returned to the human world every night, needing to put distance between himself and you. suguru convinced himself that there was work that still to be done to set his plan into motion, but deep down he knew that he couldn’t trust himself not to act on his sexual desire for you.

even with minimal interaction, getou had to cut training short some days. the sight of you overexerted and panting heavily from the workout did unexplainable things to the broody man. he knew he was a real pervert when he imagined you looking just as red and exhausted under him while his cock split you open. getou ached with desire, needing to hear your sweet sounds again. those same sounds you made when you were touching yourself to the thought of him fucking you dumb. on those days, getou would curtly tell you that training was done for the day and quickly make his exit.

_

you were always somewhat of a hot head, this was a fact that everyone was aware of. up until recent years you had trouble controlling your emotions, which often resulted in your cursed energy surging out of your body with the most terrible timing. that’s why you appreciated gojo, he understood your anger and he was the main factor for you being able to restrict your cursed energy when you felt anger bubble inside you. though it seemed that you might have gotten too good at restricting your curse technique, you didn’t like not being able to access it unless you were in a life or death situation. you knew getou was right, you should be able to summon your cursed technique on command.

over the course of your training you had gotten better at summoning your curse technique. getou was relentless, he would storm you with his own cursed technique or use hand-to-hand combat in an attempt to draw your enemy to the surface. you were able to call upon your energy one time during training when getou locked your body against his chest, his arms wrapped around your waist like a cage. you grew angry when you were unable to escape, your anger was the key that allowed you to tap into your cursed energy. you pressed your palms against getou’s body, sending a massive wave of cursed energy through his body. the act caught him off guard allowing you to escape his hold. getou must have been angry by your actions. after releasing your body from his hold, the man couldn’t look at you. it felt like an eternity passed when he finally said that was all for the day and quickly exited the room.

you thought this over as you sat at the kitchen island, hunched over your breakfast. you knew getou was avoiding you for unknown reasons, but you needed to talk to him. you had been a prisoner in the realm for quite a while and you wanted to know exactly what getou had planned for you. your mind was running in circles, wondering why gojo hadn’t found you yet, what would happen to him when he did, and also why getou seemed to hate being in your presence. you were most bothered by the latter, but you tried to distract your mind from the fact.

_

there were no clocks, or any way to tell time in getou’s realm but you gathered it was almost time to train based on the position of the sun shining through the kitchen window. your bare feet pattered against the cool wooden floor and eventually met the soft padded floor of the training room. getou was in his usual position in front of the mirror lined walls wrapping his fists in gauze.

getou looked calm while wrapping the material around his veiny hands, you almost let your anger for him ignoring you for the past few days dissipate at the sight. the man spoke with his back facing you, “are you here to train? or would you rather continue gawking?” you rolled your eyes as you stepped forward,”oh, so you can speak.” you crossed your arms across your chest as getou turned to face you,”yes.. why would you think otherwise?” his tone almost sounded mocking. “i haven’t seen you in days, with the exception of these short training sessions.” getou examend the wrapping on his hands, “well i am a busy man.” you scoffed, “right i forgot you're a busy man with a big plan to rid the world of non sorcerers, i almost forgot.”

a grin peeked out at the corner of getou’s lips, “more or less, yes.” you weren’t amused, “i know you’ve been avoiding me. why?” getou took a step forward, smiling from above you, “aw you’ve been missing me doll?” your brows knitted together, you moved to shove the man but getou caught your wrist before your palm could land. “ah ah, save the violence for training. “

“are we not training now?” you said with a sly grin to match his. getou’s eyes narrowed on you, “oh well in that case..” getou quickly kicked his leg out, knocking off balance resulting in your back landing hard on the cushioned floor. “you really love that move don’t you.” you wheezed. “i do, and you should be able to see it coming by now.” a large hand reached out, helping you back onto your feet.

your training with getou went as smoothly as any interaction with getou could go. a slight sense of ease washed over you when you noticed how getou had seemingly began to revert back to his usual smart-ass behavior during training.

later in the afternoon you found yourself feeling quite bored as you stared at the ceiling of the sitting room. you couldn’t figure out why getou didn’t at least install a tv somewhere in the house. there was absolutely nothing to do, except explore the outdoors but you had done enough of that, and you didn’t want to run into any more rouge cursed spirits again.

your ears perked up at the sound of large feet attempting to tread lightly across the wooden floor. you kept your gaze on the ceiling as you spoke, “heading out on another one of your secret missions?” getou stopped in his tracks, he let out a huff as he relaxed his shoulders, “i thought you were napping.”

“no i’m not napping, though i might as well be.” you rolled over on the couch to face him, “a bored prisoner is a unhappy prisoner sugu.” the large man shifted his stance, noticing the playful tone in your voice, “you love referring to yourself as a captive don’t you?” “well, i am here against my will. the least you could do is provide me with some sort of entertainment.”

a beat passed. getou’s eyes clouded in deep thought, “are you still a fan of jane austen?” your face contorted in confusion. “i remember you reading her works quite often, back when we were-“ you cut getou off, “you remember that?” you were genuinely surprised by his impeccable memory. you were sure if someone were to ask gojo who your favorite author or book was, he would not know how to answer. you knew this about gojo but you never held his lack of interest in your hobbies against him. you figured everyone had their own interests, there was no need for gojo to inquire about yours.

“of course i remember, how could i not?” he questioned, like it should be somehow obvious that he would remember such a trivial fact about you. you didn’t know how to respond, you just hummed slightly to yourself as getou exited the room.

the following morning you were gently woken by the sound of birds chirping and a cool wind flowing through the sliding door of your bedroom. something about the air felt different, you couldn’t put your finger on it but you could feel the residuals of sorcery floating through the air. you sprung up, your senses were on full alert, someone was using a lot of cursed energy and you knew that couldn’t be a good thing.

you tipped toed out of your bedroom, peeking around both corners before continuing down the hallway. the windowless hallway was dark and you could feel the cursed energy growing stronger as you made your way down the hall. there was a new door at the end of the hall that was not there the day before, cursed energy was practically leaking out of the key hole just below the door knob.

you took a deep breath as you gripped the door knob, not knowing what you would find on the other side of the threshold. you took on a strong stance in an attempt to ready yourself for any potential threat that could be waiting on the other side.

the circular room did not fit the same aesthetic as the rest of the house. this room was dimly lit and smelled of getou’s cursed energy, like sandalwood and smoke. mahogany shelves lined the walls, all of which were stuffed with books. in the center of the room was situated a couch and a large arm chair. your gaze wandered to getou, who was walking down the tall spiral staircase that led to a second floor of shelves.

“good morning, i hope i didn’t wake you with sounds of the new construction.” the man said jokingly. you mouth was a jar, completely in awe of getou’s power, “you did all this with jujutsu?” getou sat on the couch casually, his large frame dwarfed the piece of furniture in comparison. “all the talk of books yesterday made me think, my vacation home was severely lacking a proper library.”

you moved around the circular room, drawing your fingers across the many spines of the books. getou called out from the center of the room, “if you're looking for austen, she’s upstairs.” you turned swiftly on your heels, finally having collected your thoughts,”is this all for me? the books. the library. did you do this for me?”

getou scoffed as he leaned back against the couch cushions, “please. don’t flatter yourself. like i said, i thought that with your claim of this place needing some entertainment, a library would be a good solution.”

heat rose to your cheeks. you turned back to face the shelves, continuing along the course of the room. “well then.” getou stood, making his way to the door. “i’ll leave you too it. there’s still much to get in order” your hand shot out, grasping the air, “wait!” getou paused at your words. “at least tell me why you’re doing what you’re doing, why do you want all non-sorcerer’s gone? i need to understand why.”

getou turned back to the door, “i’m making a better world for people like you and me. be a doll and don’t try to stop me, all of our training would go to waste if i have to kill you. ” without another word the man was gone, leaving you alone in the massive library.

getou always had a narrow view of the world, he always thought in very black and white terms. you pondered over getou’s motivations as you walked up the steps of the spiral staircase.

________________________________

getou returned to the human world that night, though not for his usual reasons. getou had his sights set on gojo, suguru needed to figure out how gojo was planning to respond to your abduction. keeping tabs on gojo’s moves were essential for getou’s plan to work. the man had no plans of engaging gojo—he would only keep track of his movements from afar.

getou tracked satoru’s movements to honmachi, a residential area in tokyo. getou arched a brow from atop the tall apartment building, watching gojo tread through the empty alleyway below. smoke emitted from the sewers while neon lights buzzed from the closed shop windows. getou lost sight of the man when he walked through a cloud of misty smoke.

getou quickly jumped to the next rooftop in an attempt to keep his eyes on the white haired man, and took a step back into the shadows at the sight of gojo reappearing out of the mist. the man stopped short in the alleyway, keeping his eyes on the wet concrete below him as he spoke, “you can come out now suguru.” gojo finally looked up into the night sky, watching getou take a step out of the shadows and looking down upon him.

“i never knew you to visit this side of town gojo.” getou jumped down from the tall roof, landing on his feet in front of gojo. an unusually somber look settled on gojo’s face, “i never had a reason too, but now i must scour all of tokyo in search of whatever realm you’ve drug my girlfriend into.”

getou hummed, “yes well, i’m sure you’ll find it soon enough.” gojo stepped forward, “you know i could kill you where you stand.” getou’s hands twitched at his sides, “though i would like to see you try, if i’m dead what do you think would happen to your precious little girlfriend?” getou drug out the last word to tease gojo.

“if you so much as touch a hair on her head, i will-“ getou laughed. “you’ll what? kill me?” getou hardened his stare on gojo, ”please spare me of the theatrics satoru. maybe if you taught her how to develop her cursed technique properly she could have defended herself from me.”

gojo attempted to form a rebuttal but getou didn’t relent, “you don’t have to worry about me hurting her, if anything i am making her into a real jujutsu sorcerer, unlike whatever you were doing with your time with her.”

gojo’s demeanor shifted, his face contorted in amusement, “what i was doing with my time with her?” gojo laughed. “what do you think i was doing with my time with her?” getou’s eyes narrowed, he didn’t wait for gojo to elaborate. “you don’t deserve her.” getou spoke in an eerily calm manner, “you don’t even deserve to breathe the same air as her. tell me gojo, do you even know what her favorite book is? or her favorite author? how about her favorite thing to eat in the mornings? no? how about her favorite flower? can you tell me the answer to any of those questions?”

gojo blinked. a beat passed while getou waited for a response. gojo’s hands turned to fists at his sides, “i will find her, and i will kill you.” getou laughed at the lack of response to his questions, “i’ll count on it.” a black void of cursed energy surrounded getou, “see you soon, satoru.” with that getou was gone, leaving gojo alone in the cool night air of tokyo’s streets.

-

after getou left, you grabbed your favorite work of jane austen’s off of the tall wooden bookcase and headed back down the staircase, taking your spot on the antique couch. you drew your fingers over the title of the old book, admiring the craftsmanship of what must have been a first edition. how getou got his hands on such a priceless piece of literature, you’d never know.

persuasion was what you thought to be austen’s best work. although many would argue that pride and prejudice was much better, you loved persuasion for what it was. a dwindled romance between two lovers that lost their way, finding themselves falling for each other all over again. like any other jane austen novel, it ends predictably. the girl gets the guy, and they share a happily ever after together. the happy, predictable ending is what you loved most about the book. you thought your life could use some predictability, with your sudden capture by getou, and dealing with his mood swings.

you remembered getou differently, you always thought suguru to be the picture perfect example of the wise and stoic man. getou was always the one reeling gojo and yourself in, always keeping the two of you in line with what he thought was right. getou always had a clear view of what was right and wrong. you desperately wished to know what had changed. getou’s once black and white view of the world now seemed to be wholly grey.

your eyes grew heavy once finishing the fifth chapter of the book, you told yourself that you would rest your eyes for just a moment before returning your attention back to the romance novel. it was no fault of your own that the couch was so comfortable, and the temperature of the room was just right for your mind to drift into a deep sleep. no, it wasn’t your fault that you dreamt of getou, you couldn’t help the matter— it’s not like you had any control of your dreams.

your body was dressed in the same flimsy robe that you wore your first day in the vacation realm. you were in your bedroom, your bedroom in the real world— your safe place. it must’ve been late. the space was dark, only being lit by the city lights below. you never spent enough time here. you often spent most nights at gojo’s house. you thought back to all of those nights you spent together, those nights were always spent with you laughing at gojo’s crude jokes while he wrapped you in his warm embrace.

any and all thoughts of gojo went out the window when you realized you weren’t alone. your back was pressed up against a firm chest, warm breaths caressed your neck. you couldn’t help but lean into the feeling letting your head lull to the side, getou’s hands moved to rest on the skin covering your rib cage, his large hands naturally spread wide— reaching just a hairs length away from your nipples.

you couldn’t help but squirm when the man moved the collar of your robe just enough to place a kiss where your shoulder and neck met. you instinctively pressed your thighs together, your whole body felt extra sensitive in your dream state. getou slowly inched your robe open, creating a trail of hot kisses across your shoulder.

his voice was low and gentle, “gonna’ be a good doll for me and let me see you? i’ve been waiting so long to play with those pretty titties.” you shyly nodded your head against his chest in response, suddenly aware of the cool air sinking into your skin through the thin fabric. getou moved his hands upwards brushing his thumbs against your nipples. you suddenly felt frustrated with the fabric blocking the full sensation of his touch.

you rolled your hips, in a desperate attempt to seek out friction for your already needy cunt. getou fondled your breast over the silky fabric, chuckling softly in your ear watching you grow needy under his touch. “use your words doll, i know you can do it.” getou placed another kiss on your neck, “can i see, baby?”

you were afraid of your voice coming out uneven, you took a moment to right your mind before speaking. you whispered lowly, “yes” was the only word you could manage. your body was on fire from his touch, you hated how flustered his small actions made you.

getou opened only the top part of your robe, he wanted to take his time— he intended to devote the proper amount of time to every inch of your body. he would rush nothing. you almost gasped when the cool air of the bedroom hit your already sensitive nipples. getou moved to work circular motions with the tips of his fingers on your pebbled nipples.

suguru kissed your temple—continuing his motions on your chest, “such a pretty little doll.” your pussy flooded at the sound of his words. you let out a soft moan as you rolled your hips against the mattress, you could feel getou’s cock grow hard against your back.

you could tell getou’s hair was undone even though you couldn’t see his face from your spot between his legs, his black hair tickled your skin as he lifted your chin with one hand to get easier access to place languid kisses on your neck. every kiss and touch felt euphoric against your skin, your cunt was crying out for much needed attention as your nipple grew sore under his deft fingers.

getou still had one hand on your throat as he spoke, “be a good girl, and let me see that pretty pussy.” suguru’s hand left your nipple and pulled the tie around your waist free, causing the robe to open fully. you didn't have enough mind to care about how exposed you were, and immediately spread your legs for getou.

getou’s hand on your throat moved upwards to grip your jaw. the man turned your face towards his, allowing your eyes to finally meet. he looked so beautiful in this moment, you thought before getou pulled you in for a passionate kiss. you moaned into his mouth at the feeling of his free hand trailing down your body at an achingly slow pace. you need his fingers on your clit so desperately that you continued rolling your hips against the bed in an attempt to make him move faster but getou had always been stubborn. getou always did things his way, there was no alternative.

suguru released your lips from his, his large fingers finally met your swollen clit. your head fell back against his chest as he began working motions on that sensitive spot. his free hand moved to work your nipple once more, never relenting from his work on your cunt. “such a good little doll..you're being so good for me.” he said as your body writhed under his.

getou loved the sounds you made for him, he worked your clit in a quicker motion to draw out more of your sweet sounds. “you want me inside, baby?” getou practically cooed into your ear. “yes! sugu’ please!” you couldn’t wait any longer, you were already on the cusp of orgasm.

getou used two fingers of his free hand to trace around your cunt. you clenched under his fingers, practically sucking him in, though getou didn’t let you. suguru wanted to take his time with this as well. you cried out, “sugu- please.” getou let out a breath before finally pushing deep into your cunt, pumping in and out of your plush walls as he continued the same pace with his other hand against your clit.

you were no match for getou’s fingers, your walls began to flutter around him almost immediately when he tapped against your g-spot. suguru slowed his pace while your walls continued to dance around his fingers. the man shushed you softly, wrapping an arm around your waist.

“shh.. shh.. ride it out on my fingers baby. it’s okay.”

you heard your name leave getou’s lips, though his voice sounded more distant than before. you woke feeling startled. getou stood above you with a confused look on his face. it took you a moment to take in your surroundings, you couldn’t tell how long you were out but your head ached, and your neck felt stiff from the awkward position you slept in on the couch.

“were you reading all night?” you looked down to the novel still cracked open on your lap, “must be a really good book.” you cleared your throat— moving quickly to your feet. “yeah, really good.” your face turned beet red. hot embarrassment from your dream flooded your body. you quickly pushed past getou, not wishing to meet his eyes as you made a hasty exit.

chapter four

________________________________

you had no intentions of attending your daily training session with getou. after your swift exit from the library, you quickly rushed out of the house and into the cool morning air. your feet were damp from the dew covered grass but you barely noticed. tears began to prick at the corner of your eyes, you angrily wiped them away with the back of your hand, continuing to move forward through the greenery. there was still much about the realm that you haven't seen or explored yet, but you didn't take notice of the fact until your walk of shame led you to an unfamiliar garden. the space felt hidden away, much like the lavender field that you only stumbled upon by chance, on your first day in getou’s domain.

large stone blocks led you through a plant covered archway and into a circular shaped garden. there were no flowers, only overgrown plants of various species. you followed the stones further, which led you into the center of the space. your vision was blurry with tears but you could make out a large fountain with flowing water in the center of the neglected garden.

you took a seat on the edge of the fountain, finally allowing your emotions to come to the surface. you had never felt so frustrated and alone. your time spent as captive allowed you to sit with your thoughts, something you usually tried to avoid by keeping yourself busy.

keeping busy was no easy feat in getou’s relam, even with the addition of the new library and your daily training sessions with suguru, you still spent plenty of time completely alone, with nothing more to do than sit with your thoughts. you had never felt more confused. you couldn’t figure out how you could allow yourself to fantasize about getou, or why you cared so deeply about his well-being, or why the fact of him avoiding you for days on end bothered you so.

guilt settled heavy on your stomach. you knew gojo was out, probably tearing the world apart in search of you while you were having wet dreams about getou almost every night. getou wasn’t a good man. this is what you told yourself over and over again hoping the thought would take root in your brain, but you couldn’t help but wonder how true that statement was.

was getou truly so irredeemable? the man was capable of compassion, this you knew. his hard exterior didn’t fool you much. it never did. you resolved that deep down getou couldn’t possibly be a villian capable of genocide. you knew the man, better than anyone. you might not have been in contact with getou for years before your capture, but you knew that your best friend from all those years ago still resided somewhere deep inside his soul.

as if on cue, getou entered the garden. the tall man had to duck under the green archway to avoid hitting his head, while his hands were tucked into his pants pockets casually. you stared up at the man with tear filled eyes as he walked towards you. a deep crease formed between getou’s brows, the man squatted down to look you directly in the eyes.

you could tell suguru was quite confused by your actions. the man took a moment to choose his words, “did you have a bad dream? is that why you're crying? i’ve never seen you storm out of a room so quickly.” getou looked down to your hands gathered together in your lap. he couldn’t stand seeing you cry and he was at a total loss as to why you were.

you chuckled, wiping your tears from your cheeks, “no, it wasn’t a bad dream at all.” getou attempted to reach for your hand wanting to console you, but he thought better of it and quickly retracted. “so you’re unhappy here?” the question came out more as a statement but getou still looked at you with an inquiring gaze.

“you avoided me for days on end, then suddenly built me a library, and then left again. your back and forth behavior is tiring, getou” you stared at the man solemnly. you didn’t want to admit your next words but you felt as if you didn’t have a choice in the matter, “i’m lonely.” you began to choke on your words as more tears fell, “i’m so lonely suguru.”

you felt overwhelmed with emotion, a cumulation of all the recent events bursted out of you. you couldn’t help but let your body shake, letting the emotions pour out. no matter how often getou told himself not to get attached, he couldn’t bare to see you cry. especially when he was the cause of your sadness. getou pulled you into his arms and you let him. you didn’t have enough mind to try to push him away. getou stroked your hair, letting you cry wet tears that soaked through his shirt.

“i think you’ve been lonely for a long time, even before you came here.” getou said in his naturally deep tone, he could always read you like a book, knowing things about yourself far before you did. getou hooked a finger under your chin and lifted gently, allowing your eyes to meet once more. getou’s face looked soft and caring. his dark eyes sucked you in like a void that you wanted to sink into forever. the man held you in his arms tightly, and you noticed that his hair wasn’t pulled back in its usual style. getou’s black hair was loose, and created a great contrast against his white shirt. the man looked truly beautiful at that moment.

“you don’t have to be lonely anymore, you know.” you blinked, you knew what he meant. he wanted you to willingly join his cause—something you knew you could never do. the man didn’t really expect a response, so your lack of providing one didn’t bother him. getou stood, pulling you up with him, “let’s go somewhere, yeah?” suguru wiped the last of your tears with his thumb.

his demeanor was much different compared to the day’s previous, his cold behavior and short phrases were replaced with soft touches and compassionate words. seeing getou look at you with soft eyes only stoked the flames of your growing belief that the old getou wasn’t completely gone.

“go where? i didn’t realize prisoners were allowed to travel.” getou couldn’t help but laugh at your snide remark, he was glad to see your usual sarcastic personality return. “be careful of your words, doll.” a devilish grin pulled at the edge of getou’s lips. “or i’ll chain you up like a real prisoner.”

getou used the same black void curse technique that he used to bring you to the vacation realm to teleport the two of you to a place that you didn’t recognize in the slightest. the residuals of cursed energy floated around the two of you, while you took in your new environment.

you barely noticed the hand getou placed on the small of your back while the two of you teleported. suguru’s hand remained in place as he watched your eyes expand in awe. “where are we?” you asked, still taking in your surroundings. “the spring market.” getou said casually.

the two of you stood in the middle of a walkway, surrounded by merchants selling all types of art, food, flowers, and novelty items. the smell of sweet cinnamon and chocolate floated through the air from a nearby crepe stand. the air, you noticed was cool and crisp, unlike tokyo’s usual humid weather. “we’re not in tokyo are we?” you finally looked up to meet getou’s eyes.

getou smiled, using his palm on your back to push the two of you forward through the market, “we’re not even remotely close to tokyo.” his words carried a sense of finality so you resolved to not press the matter further.

the two of you walked for hours, chatting and tasting food from various vendors. the two of you were stopped at an art stall sifting through the various prints, when you noticed the warm glow of string lights lined along the top of each vendor's booth illuminating the pedestrian walkway.

the two of you hadn’t realized just how much time had passed from enjoying your time together at the market. getou and you were like the best of friends again, doing nothing but joking around and eating all day. the two of you left the art stall, and moved back onto to the pavement. you couldn’t help but yawn, feeling worn out from the long day and the relaxing warm hue from the light above didn’t help.

getou wrapped an arm around your shoulder, giving you something to lean your tired body on. you took in the warm, clean smell of him, and let yourself get comfortable in his hold. you wished that his embrace didn’t make you feel as safe as it did, but you couldn’t help the feeling. getou always felt like home.

getou spoke into your hair, “it’s getting late, do you want to head back?”

you sighed, not really wanting to leave but you knew your body had enough walking for the day. you nodded your head, signaling to suguru that you were ready. getou was about to summon his black void teleportation technique when you stopped short at a small jewelry stand. getou crossed his arms over his chest, watching you in confusion.

you didn’t know why but you felt compelled to stop at the table of necklaces and rings. one necklace in particular caught your attention. you delicately picked up the necklace with a small heart shaped jewel in the center. you never did care for jewelry much but this piece felt different, the color of the stone looked very familiar. the stone was a dark amber color, but not so dark that you couldn’t see flecks of yellow beneath the surface when you held it up to the light.

“it looks like your eyes.” you said, not taking your eyes off the necklace. “what?” getou asked in surprise. “it looks like your eyes.” your tone was just as calm as it was the first time. “it’s beautiful.” getou blinked, he knew you weren’t joking but he couldn’t believe that you would think anything that resembled him could be considered beautiful. he blinked, still watching you inspect the necklace. getou couldn’t ignore the warm feeling that washed over him. you looked so pretty at that moment. suguru wanted nothing more than to gather your body into his arms and carry you all the way to his bed immediately.

“can we get this bagged up?” getou asked the vendor, not bothering to ask the price. you were surprised at getou’s offer to buy the piece, but you didn’t dissuade him. you knew you couldn’t leave the market without it. the vendor nodded and placed the necklace in a small box and wrapped it in a ribbon. the merchant moved the box into a thick paper bag and took getou’s payment. the man handed you the bag with a smile, “you two are such a cute couple, have a nice day.”

heat rushed to your face from embarrassment. you nodded to the man and quickly moved away from the booth. you refused to meet getou’s eyes, but if you did, you would have seen that he was quite flustered too. you cleared your throat, “you ready to go?”

“yup.” getou said, placing his palm on your back and initiated his teleportation technique and the two of you were gone.

the pair of you emerged from the void, entering into the living room of the house that you now felt to be a second home. “here.” getou said, taking the bag from you. the man placed his hands on your shoulders turning you so that your back was facing him. you heard the rustling sound of the box being removed from the bag from behind you. getou used one hand to move all of your hair over to one shoulder, and held the delicate necklace in the other.

the feeling of his fingers touching the sensitive skin of your neck made goosebumps rise across your body. you held your breath hoping that getou wouldn’t notice the state that you were in internally. the man draped the necklace over your collar bone and clasped the chain together with ease. you reached up to touch the necklace, feeling the cool stone against your skin, turning to face getou.

getou wished he could tell you how beautiful he thought you looked wearing a piece of jewelry that resembled him. the man almost felt tempted to throw away all of his plans for the jujutsu world and stay in this realm with you forever, just by the way you looked in that moment, but he knew it would never be that simple. getou wanted to spend everyday isolated from the real world with you, seeing you wear that necklace everyday. he wished he could see you wear nothing but that necklace every single day.

getou wanted to reach out and embrace you, but he never knew when the time was right. the man still felt conflicted. he knew his feelings for you would get in the way of his one true mission if he let them, but he couldn’t stop his heart from pounding when he saw you, or keep his cock from growing hard when he thought of you at night. the man was a mess on the inside, but he covered it up well. on the other hand, you were a mess on the inside and weren’t the best at hiding it on the outside. it seemed the two of you made quite the mess.

getou ran a hand through his dark hair feeling awkward, “i have to go out again tonight, but you should get some rest. i know you're tired.” still clutching your necklace, you felt annoyed knowing that getou was leaving again. you thought the two of you might have turned the page on to a new chapter that day. you thought that maybe things would be different between the two of you after the time you spent together. you didn’t understand what he was doing when he went out every night, but you knew it couldn't possibly be for good reasons.

“i don’t like being here alone.” you said truthfully. “do you want me to stay?” getou didn’t think before asking the question, he regretted it after the words were already spoken. he was terrible at whatever it was the two of you had going on. “yes.” you said almost in a whisper.

getou felt as if he could melt into the floorboard seeing you act shy, then he felt guilt wash over him, knowing that he had to leave. getou had plans with his associates that he could not break. his men needed to fill him in on recent developments, and getou himself needed to give them new orders for his grand plan to erase all non-sorcerer’s from the jujutsu world.

getou extended a hand, reaching out to pat your head, “i have to go doll. you should get some rest.” without another word the man was gone into the void of blackness, leaving you completely alone.

suguru was right, you did need to rest but as the night progressed you couldn’t seem to get your mind to stop racing. you tossed and turned in the bed for what felt like hours until you finally decided to go to the kitchen to make some tea, hoping it would help relax your mind. you stared out the window watching the trees sway in the night air while you waited for the tea kettle to come to a boil.

your ears picked up on the sound of footsteps approaching from the hallway, “your back early.” you said turning to face getou, except the person in front of you wasn’t getou at all. you sucked in a short breath at the sight of the unfamiliar person standing in front of you. “not who you were expecting?” the androgynous man asked in a playful tone.

you quickly grabbed a knife from the kitchen sink and turned back to face the man with the patchwork face. streaks of his light blue hair fell his face as his smile grew bigger. “now now, there’s no need for all the commotion. i’m just here to see getou.” you gripped the knife tighter as the man approached, “he’s not here.” you felt adrenaline pumping through your veins, you knew that the man’s intentions weren’t good, and you needed to be alert to his every move.

the patch faced man made a show of looking around the kitchen, “so i see.” he said, still closing in on you. “oh! how rude of me!” he said, slapping the top of his head with his palm, as if he was remembering something. “i almost forgot to introduce myself! i’m mahito, and you are?”

you kept the knife in a tight grip, feeling your cursed energy begin to come alive under your skin. “i’m a guest of getou’s.” you had no intention of divulging any personal information to this man.

mahito’s sinister smile was still on full display, “well any friend of getou’s is a friend of mine. but your not just any friend are you?”

the man had you cornered but he hadn’t made any further advances, “you see, getou doesn’t have many pretty friends like you.” he reached up to twirl a lock of your hair between his fingers, causing you to flinch. mahito shushed you in faux consolation, “shh.. your soul is shaking, i can feel it. there’s no need to be afraid.” mahito chuckled. “i only want to play.”

you averted your eyes, desperately looking for an exit route. the man dipped his chin, reading your slight movement. “there’s no point in running.” mahito paused in thought, “though i do love the chase.”

you screamed, violently swinging the kitchen knife in the man’s direction. your fight or flight instincts kicked in. you didn’t allow yourself a moment to see if the knife made contact with mahito’s skin before jutting off into the dark house at full speed.

the sound of laughter echoed behind you, when you finally made it back to your bedroom. your shaky hands fumbled against the lock on the door. the sound of your erratic heartbeat banged in your ears, almost drowning out the sound of mahito’s careful footsteps. the man slowly made his way down the hall. meanwhile in your bedroom, a cool breeze flowed in through the large door leading to the porch that wrapped around the perimeter of the house. you shivered, feeling a cold chill run up your spine.

mahito stood just outside the door for a moment, savoring the thrill of the chase. you knew he was there, you could feel his unpredictable cursed energy floating through the air. your breaths were heavy, as you clutched your big sleep shirt to your chest.

you prayed then for getou’s return.

the hour was late, but you didn’t know how late. getou usually returned just before dawn, but you didn’t know if you could survive that long. your opponent was strong, not just physically, but in jujutsu too. even with your recent training sessions, you still didn’t think you would be a match for mahito.

the man spoke through your bedroom door, cutting off your train of thought, “silly girl. don’t you know that a flimsy door like this can’t keep me out?” you stood then, moving towards the patio door as quietly as you could. if you could just get outside, there’s a chance that you could hide in the forest long enough until getou got back.

just as you were tiptoeing across the threshold into the outside world, mahito broke the door down with his cursed technique. a scream escaped your throat again. your feet propelled your body forward, moving as fast as they could into the wooded area. you barely noticed that one of your house shoes slipped off in the process.

mahito was still enjoying himself, he knew he could end this quickly but where would the fun be in that? getou had been too distracted as of late, and mahito disliked that fact. mahito’s original intentions with coming to getou’s realm was to confront the man—to find out where his sudden lack of interest in their plan was coming from.

though mahito was surprised to see you wandering around the house and not getou, he immediately understood where getou’s lack of interest was stemming from. it was you. getou had lost sight of what was important because of you. a stupid girl who couldn’t even use her curse technique properly.

while chasing you through the forest, mahito started to understand exactly why getou must have been so fond of you. you were beautiful, and in mahito’s opinion, you looked especially tantalizing when your eyes were clouded with such fear. he knew that he was definitely going to kill you, but mahito figured he should be able to have a little fun with you first.

you had been running for a while, your chest was tight, and the act of losing one of your shoe’s allowed your foot to get battered against the forest floor. you heaved heavily against a large tree, praying that you had lost mahito in the woods. unbeknownst to you, the torn skin off your foot created a trail of blood, making it quite easy for mahito to track you.

he was close, you could feel it. you tried your best to steady your mind, thinking back on the things getou taught you during training. you needed to concentrate. honing in your cursed energy into one consistent stream of power was always your downfall. you wanted to scream in frustration, the gnawing pain in your foot made it too difficult to concentrate on the unstable cursed energy moving through your body.

your ear twitched at the sound of a twig snapping

nearby. you took a deep breath feeling paralyzed by fear. a beat passed in stone cold silence, only for the moment to be shattered by mahito aggressively grabbing your wrists and pinning them above your head as soon as he came into your line of sight. the skin of his face seemed to be held together with silver stitches, almost reminding you of frankenstein. though mahito seemed much more terrifying than the old victorian tale.

“ah ah. no need to be difficult, i’m not going to kill you just yet.” mahito said, reinforcing his hold on your wrists. you tried to retch free with no luck, he had you pinned. the man shushed you in a faux sympathetic tone as he pushed his thigh between your legs. your fear was replaced with anger at the sight of the man clearly enjoying himself.

anger seemed to be the key for you to concentrate on your cursed energy, you felt the warmth of it pooling in the palms that were hoisted over your head. you tried shaking from his grip once more, “what do you want from me?” you spat, not understanding the unprovoked attack. “why are you here?”

mahito pushed his thigh up farther, smiling as he leaned in closer to speak into your ear, “well, it all started as an innocent trip to visit getou. you see he’s been very distracted lately, and i wanted to know why but it seems the reason is standing right in front of me.” the man chuckled, lowering his tone as he spoke. “i mean don’t get me wrong, i get it. i would be distracted too, you are a fine specimen..” his voice trailed off, the human curse leaned in further to smell your hair.

fury in its purest form migrated through your veins, you might not be a match for mahito in terms of strength or jujutsu, but you did have the element of surprise at your disposal. you swang your injured foot upwards, landing a hard blow on the man’s groin. mahito staggered backwards, causing him to release your wrists from his hold.

your cursed energy was ferocious and messy but that didn’t deter you from shooting whatever energy you could out of your palms and into mahito’s direction. your cursed energy shot out in short, but powerful spurts, eventually landing a blow in mahito’s side. the shot of energy was like a bullet, shooting through the skin settling deep in his body. the impact was so strong, mahito’s blood blew back on to you, covering your body in the warm crimson liquid.

mahito was strong, you knew he wouldn’t be down for long but you took the opportunity to run nonetheless. you didn’t make it very far before intense fatigue clouded your senses, and the limp stemming from your injured foot slowed your escape. you tried to power on, but your blood covered body collapsed to the ground, from the acute pain shooting off inside your body. you felt like your insides were being torn apart.

mahito was still incapacitated on the ground, but kept the same menacing smile on his face nonetheless, “silly girl, i made contact with your skin. i have full control over your soul.” you wailed on the ground, feeling mahito’s cursed technique take hold of your body. the pain was so intense, your vision began to fade as your body lost consciousness.

-

getou immediately knew something was wrong when he sensed mahito’s residuals in the air once he arrived back to the realm. the scent of sandalwood and smoke fanned off of getou as his cursed technique ignited in his body. he angrily scoured the house searching for evidence of the two of you. getou didn’t stop moving forward at the sight of your bedroom door knocked off the hinges. the only thing that caused his swift movements to halt was your lone house shoe discarded in the grass. getou bent down to retrieve the shoe, the feeling of it in his hand only stoked the fire of anger in his heart.

getou found mahito first, the human curse was propped up against a tree trying to heal himself from the injuries he sustained. mahito smiled at the sight of the man who looked like death himself, “oh! hi getou! i’ve been look-“ mahito’s words were cut short from getou’s strong grip on his neck.

suguru hoisted the man up the tree, mahito slapped at getou’s arm in an attempt to get the man to release him from his hold. mahito tried choking out some intelligible words but getou cut him off again, “where is she?” getou’s tone came out much more threatening than usual. mahito still couldn’t form words from the tight grip getou held on his windpipe.the man could only signal with his eyes the direction that your body was laying in.

getou could only make out the shape of your body lying on the ground, but he could tell that you were hurt. fear struck his heart like a spear, getou dropped the man and whistled to the house spirits to come string mahito up. mahito panted on the ground watching getou run in the direction of your mangled form.

mahito yelled out to getou as the house spirits retrieved him from the tree, “getou! wait! what are they going to do to me?” getou didn’t respond, he didn’t have enough mind to even process the words when he saw the state that you were in. you were turned on your side in the fetal position, getou couldn’t tell if the blood that covered your body belonged to you, or mahito but he didn’t have time to speculate. getou scooped up your lifeless form and quickly carried you back to the house.

if you were conscious, you probably would’ve made a joke about how it seems every time you go outside, getou had to carry you back in. or maybe you would joke about how getou seems to have some really ugly looking friends, but you weren’t awake to do that.

every second that you were unconscious made getou’s stomach form into knots. the man had to affirm to himself over and over again in his head that you were going to be okay, trying to force himself to believe it. “fuck!” he said audibly, when he looked down on your face. you looked so peaceful, despite being so injured. the man felt so distraught, he was almost glad that you weren’t awake to witness it.

after the house spirits tied mahito up in the basement, they came to help getou tend to your wounds. suguru knew you wouldn’t want him to be the one to bathe you, so after cleaning your mangled foot, and pumping his own reverse curse technique into your skin, he allowed the house spirits to clean and dress you.

the large man felt odd for being in your room for so long, the last time he spent this much time in your bedroom was the night that he allowed himself to give into his lustful thoughts and fuck himself with his hand as you slept. getou shook his head, trying to clear his mind of thoughts of that night. he would never forgive himself for being such a creep. getou stood, trying to distract himself. he was pacing around the room for a moment, when he noticed the blood splattered necklace that he bought you just the day before. the house spirits removed it to bathe you, but getou couldn’t help but notice how the one thing that you owned that symbolized him, was covered in blood. an ironic sight.

-

you didn’t know how long you were out, but you knew it must’ve been a while. the sun was at the midway point in the sky, shining bright into your eyes. you groaned loudly, turning onto your back. you were surprised to see getou perched at the end of the bed watching you intently.

“hey doll, how are you feeling?” a grunt was all you could muster in response. your vocal cords were still worn out from your petrifying screams the night before. getou was riddled with guilt, he didn’t know what to say. there was nothing that could be said to make the situation better. suguru only wanted you to be safe, that was his new top priority—but it seems every time you get hurt it’s somehow related to him.

getou reached out to set his hand on top of yours, stroking lightly with his thumb. neither one of you were ever much good at showing any type of physical affection, and that fact felt clear in the moment. his eyes analyzed your limp wrist, while clearing his throat. “i’ll kill him. you don’t have to worry about him ever again.”

if you had enough energy you would’ve rolled your eyes, “i don’t care about that right now.” you were both taken back by how raspy your voice came out. “i just wish you could’ve been here. i was so scared getou.” a deep crease formed between his brows, listening to your words.

“why weren’t you here?” you began to cry then, feeling overwhelmed with thoughts of nights past. your mouth formed into a deep frown as hot tears fell from your eyes. “why weren’t you here suguru? why?” you couldn’t help but repeat the question over and over, it was like your brain was stuck in a loop.

getou felt as if his heart was pulled clean out of his chest, he made quiet shushing sounds while moving up the bed to take you in his arms. you couldn’t fight his embrace even if you wanted too, his hands were steady and unyielding. getou propped his back up against the headboard and pulled your shaking body into his lap. he held you tight, letting you curl up into his chest.

getou continued to shush you and stroke your hair, his shirt becoming wet from the abundance of tears. “i’m sorry.” his grip on your body tightened, he felt fearful that you would somehow slip from his grasp. you felt so delicate.

“i’m so sorry. you don’t have to worry about anything like that happening ever again. i’ll never leave you ever again. i promise.”

even in your hysterical state, you knew that was a promise that you would hold him too.

________________________________

getou let you weep in his arms until your eyes ran dry, and continued to hold you through the slumber that followed. the man watched you for hours, finally coming to the conclusion that the feelings he had for you could no longer be avoided.

getou didn’t sleep a wink even after the sun had set. the sorcerer’s mind ran on a rapid loop of anxiety. you hadn’t told getou exactly what happened when mahito attacked you, but seeing the effect it left on you made him want to kill the man immediately, but he refused to leave you alone even if you were sleeping. you needed him more than ever, and he dared not to let you down again.

the house spirits had imprisoned mahito in the facility deep in the forest that getou had originally created for gojo. the structure was small and rather unimpressive looking on the outside, its sole purpose was to hold curse users. the walls of the small prison were infused with ancient jujutsu. any jujutsu sorcerer—other than getou who enters the building will not be able to tap into their cursed energy while inside its walls.

the creation of the small prison was a early part of getou’s plan of capturing gojo, but it was now holding one of his own men. anger ignited in suguru’s chest, the thought of one of his own men disrespecting him in such capacity made him reevaluate just how sound his plan really was.

you tossed and turned in your sleep, finally settling with your head burried into getou’s chest. the angry feelings in getou’s chest was replaced with a warm content feeling. the man felt that he had waited years to finally hold you in his arms. the act felt right, and it filled his heart with peace.

no longer fighting against his own feelings, suguru held you closer, and placed a kiss on your forehead. getou rested his chin on your head, and allowed the peaceful blackness of sleep take hold of him.

-

morning came too quickly for getou. he yawned deeply, blinking the sleepy haze out of his eyes to see you perched on the end of the bed. you were facing the window, but getou could tell that something was off. “hey, you okay?” he asked in a voice still raspy with sleep.

you didn’t answer him, you only continued to stare out into the trees with a blank expression. you woke up feeling different, all the emotions you felt from the previous day were replaced with an intense anger and a need for revenge. your experience with mahito was the straw that broke the camel's back, and it made you realize that you didn’t want to be weak and incapable any more.

thinking back on the fear you felt while being taunted and chased through the forest ignited your cursed energy. getou could sense the dark energy exuding from your body. the energy was much darker and erratic than usual; he had never seen your cursed energy come out like this.

getou sat up in the bed, reaching for your shoulders to shake you out of whatever day dream you were having. “hey!” he shook you hard, but you were still deeply entwined in your thoughts of revenge. only the sound of your name leaving the man’s lips, brought you out of your stupor.

you finally turned to look at him. the sight of getou’s eyes and lips still puffy from his deep sleep caused your cursed energy to return to its dormant state. you stared at the man with a blank expression not knowing what to say. his brows furrowed, still looking at you quizzically, “what’s going on? i’ve never seen you like this. i need you to tell me what’s going on.” a beat passed. “please.” he pleaded.

you took a deep breath, “im angry.” you thought back on the night with mahito once more, your hands unconsciously formed into fists in your lap. “i’m tired of feeling weak.” you concluded. getou sympathetically wrapped a hand over your balled fists, speaking softly into your ear, “you’re not weak, and you never have to feel that way again. you turned to meet his gaze. “i can help you.” he said in a whisper.

“i want him dead.” your tone came out matter factly. “then it will be done.” you shook your head at getou’s words. “no, i’ll be the one to do it.” suguru’s face reverted back to its original concerned expression. getou opened his mouth to speak, only to be cut off by your words, “i will be the one to kill him.”

there was a massive shift inside of you, getou could sense the change in your demeanor. he knew this was an argument that he would not win, so the man conceded, “fine. i’ll take you to him.”

-

the walk to the facility was a long and quiet one. getou and you both were both too busy listening to the conflicted inner monologue inside your minds to make casual conversation. the weight of your earlier words began to set in, as the two of your made your way through the trees. you were going to kill a man, this would be the very first time that you would kill a man.

there’s a first for everything. you supposed. getou’s thought process was similar to yours, even though the man wanted to recruit you to his side all along, he didn’t know it would happen like this. getou knew you naturally carried a guilty conscience, he was fearful of what killing mahito would do to you. there’s no take backs when killing a person, getou knew this truth all too well.

after a long period of silence, the trees finally cleared. the makeshift prison getou built was small and inconspicuous looking, but your stomach still dropped at the sight of it. the two of you stopped at the entrance of the small stone building.

getou turned to face you, gripping both of your arms, “are you sure you want to go through with this?” you were nervous, and felt as if you could throw up at any moment, but your mind was made up. you knew what you had to do. you nodded your head silently, and getou led you through the entryway.

you followed the sorcerer through the dark passageways that finally led to a single cell. mahito could be seen chained up on the concrete floor through the small window in the iron door. it was clear that the house spirits had been torturing the man at getou’s command, based on mahito’s appearance. it looked like he was barely clinging to life, and the absence of his cursed energy signature only reaffirmed the thought.

getou left your side for a moment, allowing you to get a good look at the first man you would kill. you were deep in thought watching mahito’s unconscious form, when getou returned with a large weapon in tow. the man swung the long scythe with a flourish.

you couldn’t help but cock a brow at the weapon. the sight of it was terrifying, the weapon consisted of a long black pole that led to a large curved blade. you couldn’t help but notice how the blade shined against the low light of the stoned lined hall.

getou passed the weapon into your hands, allowing you to feel the cold steel pole in your grasp. “it’s a very old war scythe, used by powerful sorcerer’s from the high era of jujutsu.” getou revealed. “it’s embedded with cursed energy of its own, and even has its own technique.”

you gripped the pole with two hands, letting yourself get used to its weight, “yeah? what’s its technique?” you mused, not taking your eyes off the shiny blade. getou smiled then, “it can take the power of those who are killed with its blade.” you snapped your eyes back to him as understanding filled you.

“so i could have mahito’s power of soul manipulation just by killing him with this?” getou clasped his hands together, smiling down on you encouragingly, “precisely.”

the desire for power filled your bloodstream. you would never have to feel weak again. no curse—no matter how high the grade, could hurt you ever again. you smiled back at the man, “and you're giving this to me?” suguru nodded, “it’s all yours doll.”

the next moments passed in a fog. your senses were clouded with revenge and the need for power. getou opened the large door into the cell, causing mahito to stir awake. seeing the fear that filled mahito’s mind only fueled your vengeful desires. you toted the long blade over your shoulder, smiling down at the man, “good morning!” you giggled. “i hope you slept well.”

your next words were drowned out by mahito’s cries, the man begged getou for mercy knowing his life depended on it, but getou didn’t move from behind you. the man was completely unfazed by mahito’s cries, he knew that he would’ve killed the human curse eventually.

“whenever you're ready, doll. i’d like to get this over with.” you swung the blade off your shoulder, thinking that maybe you would like to hear how much the man could beg, but you decided against it.

“don’t worry mahito, i’ll make good use of your cursed technique.” you cooed, swinging the long blade in one quick motion across the man’s neck. mahito’s screams died in his throat while blood gushed from the fatal wound. his body slouched to the ground, but you hardly noticed. a ringing noise filled your ears. you became drunk off the power that the kill gave you.

every hair on your body stood up. you could feel the blade taking mahito’s power—sucking it up like a vacuum. you felt no remorse, only pure nirvana, you knew the world would be a better place without him. pride swelled in your heart, knowing that you were the one to take him out of the world.

getou called your name from behind you, but the sound didn’t register. your ears were still filled with the loud white noise ringing in them. a large hand wrapped around your waist and your name was called once more. a manic giggle erupted from your throat, still looking at the bloody blade.

“i did it.” you breathed. getou could tell you were having a hard time processing what you did, and he knew that he had to get you out of there. the man pulled you out of the cell in an attempt to get some distance from the scene. you were still giggling, you felt overjoyed with your new sense of power.

you pushed the large man against the wall with a thud, “you know suguru, i think you were right. the world needs people like us.” getou wanted to question your meaning but he couldn’t bring himself to speak. you stood on your top toes trying to get yourself at eye level to getou, “i still don’t agree with your whole ‘kill all non-sorcerer’s’ plan, but i think we could come to some sort of understanding.”

getou knew you were drunk on power but he couldn’t bring himself to care. the sorcerer looked down on you, “yeah?” he grinned, loving how you looked in your feral state. “yeah, now take me home please.”

-

you felt extremely grateful for getou’s teleportation technique when the two of you emerged from the darkness, back in the living room of getou’s home. returning home seemed to do nothing to quell the mix of mania and lust pumping through your veins. you didn’t push away from getou’s touch like you usually did after transporting, in fact you leaned into his hold.

chest to chest—getou looked down into your wild eyes using his thumb and pointer finger to lift your chin, “being the hand of death got you on a power trip huh, doll?” you blushed at his words, still staring into his all encompassing gaze. getou leaned down, allowing his lips to hover just above your own, “murderous little thing.” he whispered.

whatever restraight the two of your had before, completely disappeared at his words. getou’s grip tightened on the small of your back, while the other hand snaked up your spine to grip the back of your neck. your lips collided in a messy dance. it was unclear as to who was leading the kiss, due to your tongues gliding over each other in a hungry fight for dominance.

you wrapped your arms around getou’s neck, intertwining your fingers with his thick hair at the base of his head. the man moaned into your mouth at the sensation, causing your knees to buckle. getou didn’t falter, swiftly scooping you up in his arms allowing your legs to wrap around his waist. you could tell the man was good with his mouth, when he took your bottom lip between his teeth you couldn’t help but let out a soft whimper. the feelings that his mouth elicited on yours made your cunt grow wet from the sensation.

any shyness that ever existed in your body evaporated when you began to roll your hips against getou’s stomach. the act made getou break the kiss, looking at you with half-lidded eyes. your heart pounded in your chest and cunt, waiting for him to say something. getou breathed heavily, “i’ve never seen you like this. fuck.” he professed, grabbing a handful of your ass and kneading the flesh.

your hands still massaged the base of his scalp. his skin felt addicting, you wanted to kiss and lick every inch of it, beginning with his neck. suguru hoisted you up higher in his arms, walking the two of you to the master bedroom while you placed open mouth kisses all over his neck. you barely noticed the movement forward, you were too busy kissing and licking his warm skin all the way up to his ear. you didn’t take notice of the new location until getou sat himself on the edge of the bed. the motion caused your lips to leave his skin, noticing that your hips were now straddling his.

getou reached up to cup your face with one hand, and used the other to grip your hip. the man looked at you soberly, “you have no idea how long i’ve wanted this.” you giggled in response, pressing your clothed pussy against the cock growing hard in getou’s pants. you rocked your hips ever so slightly to tease him, “yeah? how long?”

a devilish grin appeared on the man’s face, “don’t taunt me doll, cause it’s you who’s gonna be begging for my cock later.” suguru didn’t give you a chance to respond, before gripping your hips and flipping you on to your back in the middle of the bed. he didn’t grant you a moment to catch your breath before settling his weight between your parted thighs and locking his lips to yours.

sounds of the wet kiss filled your ears. getou moved his tongue slower this time, using it to tease yours with languid flicking motions. not breaking the kiss, he removed your hands from his neck, and pressed your wrists firmly into the mattress above your head. you dared not move them when his deft fingers worked underneath the hem of your shirt.

your back arched off the bed when his hands met your breast’s under the thin shirt. getou moaned into your mouth at the feeling of your soft tits in his hands, causing you to buck your hips against his cock in response. still fondling your breasts, getou’s lips left yours, he thought you looked so pretty with your lips swollen from his mouth, and he wanted nothing more than to see all of you.

“gonna let me see those pretty titties baby?” he said in a pleading tone, gripping the bottom of your shirt. you nodded your head, suddenly feeling shy. getou took his time sliding the shirt up, not wanting to spook you. the cool air of the bedroom nipped your skin causing goosebumps to rise across your body.

you both sucked in a breath when your breasts were freed from the fabric. getou took a moment to take in the sight of you below him before he spoke, “so fucking pretty.” he whispered. his lips met yours once more, you fought the urge to move your hands from above your head when his large palm moved to roll your nipples between his fingers. your clit pounded at the sensation, crying out in a desperate plea for stimulation.

suguru shifted his body so his thigh was resting between your legs. his mouth left yours with a pop, “rub your cunt against my thigh.” he commanded softly. you heeded his command, doing anything to get friction on your clit. your moans came out more rapidly from the feeling of getou’s hands on your tits and his big thigh between your legs.

your body was heating up, and you desperately wanted getou to remove your pants but you had a feeling he was going to drag things out for teasing him earlier. “su-suguru, please.” you whined. “hmm?” he hummed playfully. “i need you to touch me, please.”

suguru looked at you through his lashes, “i'm already touching you, doll.” he said, moving his mouth to suck on your nipple. the feeling made your cunt flutter. you let out another soft moan, writhing under him. getou looked up at your face while flicking your over stimulated nipple with his tongue, “you sound so fucking pretty, baby.”

tears pricked your eyes, your cunt was in desperate need of attention. you were about to start begging just how getou said you would, when he tugged at the waistband of your pants, “let’s get you out of these.” getou quipped, taking your bottoms off swiftly. he smiled at the sight of your soaked panties, you noticed that this smile was a genuine one, not like his usual malice hinted smiles. the look reminded you of the old days. the days when you were completely in love with your best friend.

the sight could have made your heart explode, but the wholesome moment was cut short when getou removed his shirt, revealing his toned chest and arms. he looked like a giant looming over you without his shirt, the sight made your cunt throb even more. “i’m gonna touch you over your panties, okay?” suguru beckoned from between your thighs. getou kept his eyes on you as he hovered his fingers over your soaking panties, he wanted to see your every reaction. the man used only his thumb to work circles on your clit, but the sensation sent your head rolling back nonetheless.

getou’s cock ached at the sight of you coming undone from his fingers, but he made up his mind that he wouldn’t fuck you until you begged for it. “you’re doing so good for me doll, i knew you would.” getou praised. “you don’t know how long i’ve thought about doing this.” he moved his thumb quicker over your swollen clit, “years. i’ve thought about this for years.” his breath’s grew ragged, “-should’ve never let gojo have you. he doesn’t deserve this pretty pussy.”

you moaned loud, as heat filled the pit of your stomach, “getou! i’m gonna-“ his hand left your clit, causing you to sigh in frustration. the man shushed you quietly, “not yet. i can’t let you cum yet. you're gonna cum all over my cock, or not at all.”

tears filled your eyes once more, “suguru, please.” you pleaded, rubbing your wet panties against his clothed cock. getou smiled, “say it again.” he said teasingly. “please.” you begged in a low tone.

getou kissed your lips passionately before heeding your words. he pulled your panties off quickly, and took a moment to stare at your glistening cunt. “fuck.” he said in awe. “pretty, pretty, pussy.” he mumbled to himself. he then unsheathed his cock, it sprang upwards bouncing off his stomach. your mouth salivated at how pretty it was, noticing the slight upwards curve in the shape, and the small amount of pre cum already leaking from the tip.

getou leaned down to suck on your tits once more, sliding his cock up and down just on your slick outer folds. you moaned when the tip of his cock slid against your clit, the sensation alone was about to send you over the edge. you couldn’t keep your hands above your head anymore. you needed to touch him, you had to rake your hands through getou’s hair, you had to feel his warm skin against yours.

getou groaned, his breath was uneven, and he was almost as restless as you were. “you want my cock pretty girl?” he breathed raggedly. “yes! sugu- please!”

you took a deep breath watching getou grip your thigh with one hand, and using the other to line himself up with your entrance, you both groaned when he slid in, your cunt already clamping down on him. his thrusts were slow, allowing for you to get used to the size of him. even going slow, his cock tapped against your g-spot eliciting sweet sounds from your mouth.

your plush walls felt so good around getou’s cock he could help but let his thrusts grow more erratic, he leaned down to feel your chest against his as he pumped deep into your walls. you noticed his hair falling out of its bun allowing his hair to fall in both of your faces as he kissed you.

you moaned into his mouth, getou’s fingers played with your nipple all while his cock pounded your g-spot. suguru broke the kiss to look at you with lust filled eyes, “you feel so fucking good.” he crooned. “want you to be a good girl for me and cum all over my cock okay?”

he kneaded your breasts that were bouncing from his thrusts, while your walls clamped down on him. the consistent motion of his cock hitting your g-spot sent you over the edge, you wailed as your cunt fluttered around his cock.

getou moaned, about to cum from the feeling of your cunt dancing around his length, “ah! good girl! that's it, cum all over my cock baby, that’s it.” his thrust grew ragged in your swollen cunt, you cried in over stimulation as he spurted hot liquid into your tired pussy. getou leaned down to place a sweet kiss onto your lips and then your forehead, “i’m so proud of you, pretty girl.”

chapter seven

finally stirring from your deep sleep, you were greeted to the sight of getou’s slumbering face just inches from your own. a crease was cemented between his brows, as if he were dreaming of something serious. though knowing getou, he probably was.

you took a moment to stare, having never seen the man in such a vulnerable state. he looked almost innocent, as his broad chest rose and fell with hollow breaths. you turned over, attempting to get ready for the day when a large arm hooked around your waist putting a halt to your plans.

getou nuzzled his face into the crook of your neck, “nope. no escaping now.” he grumbled in a deep sleepy tone. you laughed, settling into his hold, “i quite literally couldn’t escape you, even if i tried.” you could feel getou’s lips forming into a smile against your neck, “true. i’m glad you know.” he teased, placing a kiss just behind your ear.

all thoughts of gojo were far away, being with getou felt like you were finally accepting what you had always felt deep in your heart. something about getou felt like home, his presence alone steadied you. you were finally able to admit it to yourself.

you didn’t have it in you to feel guilty, especially when suguru’s hold around your waist tightened—or when he placed another sweet kiss on your neck. there was no going back, you both knew this, but neither one of you seemed to care. maybe it was just post-orgasm bliss that had you feeling so warm and safe in his arms, but you had a feeling that you would feel that way regardless.

the morning sun was shining bright through the sliding doors that led to the outside world, casting a warm hue of yellow light over the two of you. getou groaned sleepily, burrowing his face into your neck in an attempt to escape the sun's rays.

you flipped over to face him once more. the two of you stared at each other in silence, basking in the sun's warmth while letting the sounds of the birds singing from the trees surround you. getou felt that he was in some cruel dream, that he would soon wake up from feeling utterly alone. you reached out to rest a hand on his large chest, getou let out a hollow breath in response. your touch alone was enough to anchor the man into reality. your soft hands against his skin signified that this was no dream, this was real. he was here with you.

the sorcerer kept his gaze on your face, that was still puffy with sleep. getou had never seen you look so beautiful. the sunlight casted a halo of light around your head, suguru thought you looked like an angel. though based on your actions from the previous day, he knew that you were far from it. you were like him, both of your moral compasses were busted. you now lived in a morally grey area just as he did—and he relished in the feeling of having finally corrupted you.

“do you regret it?” he whispered. “regret what?” you knew what he meant, but you questioned him anyway. getou hummed, knowing that you wanted to bypass the conversation. he wrapped an arm around your waist pulling your bodies closer together, “we don’t have to talk about it if you don’t want too. we could pretend for a while longer if you want.”

you quirked a brow, “pretend?” the man smiled at your confused face, tracing circles on your back with his long fingers, “we could pretend that the real world doesn’t exist for a while longer.” he took a moment to collect his thoughts. “it’s just us here, we could pretend that it would always be that way.”

getou had never been spectacular at expressing himself through words, but you understood his meaning. you could pretend, in fact you’d prefer it. you were already pretending that yours and suguru’s ideology of jujutsu wasn’t on opposing sides of the spectrum, so why not keep pretending? why not live in the moment for as long as the universe would allow it?

“i can do that.” you said, wrapping a leg over his hip. the action made getou’s heart pound in his chest, and allowed blood rush to his cock. you were completely unaware of the effect your small movement had on the man, you were too busy thinking of his words from the night before.

“what did you mean when you said that gojo didn’t deserve me last night?” you asked in an inquiring tone. the man hadn’t meant to say that out loud, but he was so drunk on your body he couldn’t help but ramble.

“oh you caught that.” he mused. there was a lot that you didn’t know about your boyfriend. a lot that getou had only recently found out during his time surveilling satoru’s movements. even from his days spent in the past with gojo, suguru knew that he wasn’t the setting down type. getou knew that gojo wasn’t wholly faithful to you, but he didn’t want to seem like he was purposely attempting to turn you against him.

most of all he didn’t want to see you hurt. getou did his best to evade your question, “does he make you happy?” you were both surprised by the question, getou internally chided himself for not coming up with something better. you didn’t really know how to answer, you had always felt happy enough.

gojo filled a void that existed in your heart, and you never had much reason to complain. gojo was always kind to you, and the sex was good—but sex with getou was different. when gojo fucked you it felt impersonal, the two of you were only trying to reach the finish line of orgasming. neither one of you were fully present in the act, it felt as if you were just going through the motions.

sex with getou felt like an awakening—an exploration of eachother’s body’s and soul’s. it felt like it really was just the two of you in the world. everything about it felt right. no matter how wrong it was. you had a far away look in your eyes when you finally answered, “he made me happy enough.” you tone carried a sense of finality to it, but your answer wasn’t good enough for the stubborn man.

“happy enough?” a spark of irritation ignited in getou’s stomach, “do you want to settle for just being happy enough?” you didn’t want to fight, so you conceded, “no, i don’t.” your tone lowered to a whisper. “i want more.” it was as if you were finally admitting to yourself. you wanted more out of your life. you wanted love in its purest form, and you wanted power. you began to question if it was possible to have both.

getou dipped his head closer to yours, “i can give you more.” he said in a low tone matching yours. you sucked in a tight breath at the feeling of getou’s hand latching on tightly to the skin of your ass, pushing you hips closer to his. with your leg draped over his side, you could practically feel his cock growing hard against your panties. your eyes went wide at the sensation. getou chuckled, “don’t look so surprised doll, you weren’t this shy last night.”

you loosened up at his tease, relaxing against him once more. you decided to take getou’s advice and pretend. pretend that it was just you and him in the world. pretend that the two of you weren’t on opposing sides. pretend that you were just two people basking in eachother’s bodies. pretend that this was the old getou lying next to you, the one who would have never abandoned you.

you were the one who decided to close the distance between your bodies, locking your lips onto his. getou allowed your tongue to slip past his lips, and hummed from deep in his throat at your enthusiasm. his grip on your ass tightened as he kneaded your flesh. your cunt began to throb at the sound of the moans already escaping his throat.

suguru raked his free hand through your hair and you did the same, you would never tire from feeling his silky strands filtering through your fingers. the kiss was soft and slow, the two of you took your time letting your tongues explore each other's mouths. getou felt as if he could swallow you whole, feeling himself grow drunk off of the feeling of your plush lips against his, but he felt determined not to rush.

he wanted to explore every inch of your body all morning long. if getou had his way, the two of you wouldn’t leave the bed at all until the sun set, and rose again. he finally broke the kiss, leaving you staring at him with a dazed expression. the broad chested man leaned back, gripping the bottom of your sleep shirt.

“‘wanna see those pretty titties again.” he murmured looking at you for permission. you had always been slightly insecure over your breast’s they weren’t the exact shape and size that you thought they should be, but getou’s praised made you feel more comfortable in your body.

you nodded your head, silently signaling that it was okay. getou licked his lips and lifted your sleep shirt slowly. your skin jumped, feeling the cool air slide up your skin with the shirt. suguru hummed when your breasts came into view. he had to fight the urge not to immediately take one into his mouth, instead he took a moment to stare at your nipples growing hard from the cool temperature of the room.

“so fucking pretty.” he said almost in awe. your cheeks heated up under his stare, but you felt immense relief when getou’s lips returned to yours. you moaned into his mouth as he rolled your nipples between his fingers. you instinctively ground your hips against his cock. you both groaned at the feeling of each other's touch.

you reached down between the space of your bodies to grip getou’s cock through his pants, his movements began to match your own as he bucked against your hand. you were both needy, and neither one of you did anything to conceal it. getou’s warm hands continued to massage your breasts, causing you to soak through your panties. his was so good with his hands, you thought you might come just from the feeling he was eliciting from your chest.

getou broke the kiss, moving to suck on your collarbone and kiss his way down to your sore nipples. he tried to give equal attention to both of your titties, giving both an open mouth kiss. your mouth dropped open at the feeling of his warm tongue swiping against your nipples. his mouth left your breast with a pop, “fuck.” he spoke to himself. you knew that your cunt had probably soaked completely through your panties just from the intense heartbeat you felt in your clit.

getou used his body weight to push you onto your back and settled his body between your legs. the man looked like a god between your thighs, the morning sun shone against his black hair, and painted his skin a light gold color. he was so beautiful, yet he was looking at you like you were the most magnificent creature he had ever seen.

“my pretty doll.” he cooed, lifting your leg up to place a kiss on your ankle. the man lowered himself down keeping your leg on his shoulder, to get a good look at your wet panties. getou used his thumb to rub circles over the wet part of your panties, causing your back to arch off the bed.

“you're so wet.” he said, still looking at your soaked panties. you ground your hips against his thumb, seeking friction. getou noticed the needy look in your eyes, “‘want my fingers, or my mouth? you choose.” you wanted to melt into the bed at his question. no one that you had ever been with had cared much about what you wanted in bed, but getou was so giving. he wanted nothing more than to please you.

“mouth please.” you whimpered. suguru wasted no time by quickly helping you shimmy out of your underwear and immediately ducked his head between your thighs. the warm sensation of his tongue lapping up the wetness of your pussy made your eyes roll back. getou moaned into your cunt as your fingers massaged his scalp. the vibrations from the sound went straight to your clit and you screamed out.

suguru moved to suck on your clit, the sensation was so intense that you had to fight the urge not to clamp your legs shut. you continued to cry out, and getou continued to moan into your clit. you weren’t expecting him to slip in two fingers to your cunt, you immediately clamped down on him as he curled his fingers to tap your g-spot.

getou knew you were on the edge of coming, he lifted his head to watch your face as he used his fingers to pump in and out of you with precision. his hair was completely disheveled from your fingers, and you were a complete mess from his mouth, but getou thought that you had never looked more beautiful. he had waited so long to see you like this—to experience you like this, he had to savor every moment of it. even if that meant neglecting his throbbing cock for the time being.

your plush walls wrapped around his fingers even tighter as heat formed in your stomach, you were so close. getou smiled down at you, “i know you want to come doll, it’s okay. come on my hand, you can do it.” at his word, your cunt immediately began to flutter around his fingers. getou groaned, still continuing his movements until your cunt loosened its grip on his fingers.

your chest heaved up and down with heavy breaths, while getou placed a kiss to the inside of your thigh. you were surprised when he laid back down next to you, and pulled your body against his chest. “what about you?” you questioned referring to his still hard cock. suguru hummed, “we have all day, don't we?” he chucked at his own statement, knowing that he intended to utilize the whole day.

________________________________

gojo hadn’t sensed getou’s presence watching him in quite a while, it made him wonder what had him so busy all of a sudden. satoru thought about this as he walked through the tokyo streets, having just left the home belonging to a woman he barely knew. the man felt less guilty cheating on you when it was done with women he wasn’t very familiar with.

cheating was wrong this he knew, but gojo had never been good at staying devoted to one person. he tried his best with you, but even when you spent most nights at his house he would still have to booty call some poor woman in his phone not long after you left. he couldn’t help it, he was lonely. that’s what he told himself at least.

when you were first taken by getou, satoru devoted every second to trying to locate you—but as the days wore on, gojo felt the loneliness begin to creep in. at first, he spent the long days talking to high ranking sorcerer’s seeking whatever knowledge they might have on getou’s realm. those long days turned into even longer nights when he crept into another woman’s bed. gojo didn’t try to excuse his own behavior anymore, he knew what he was doing was wrong but that didn’t take away from the weight he felt on his chest not having you around.

satoru made his way through the muggy streets of tokyo. the area was usually buzzing with people and cars moving in every direction, but at this late hour the streets were a ghost town. the lanky man turned quickly down a small alleyway that led to a staircase descending down to a large black door. wasting no time, gojo knocked three times just as instructed. the door creaked open, seemingly by itself.

gojo knew where he was going, he pushed forward through the dark hallway of the basement and stopped at yet another door. he repeated the same knock, but this time a person answered.

“well would you look at this, the mighty satoru gojo has come to pay me a visit.” the special grade sorcerer eased. the man backed away from the door, ushering gojo inside of the office. “please have a seat.” he pointed to the leather chair sitting in front of the large wooden desk. the blonde man folded his arms against his chest, sitting to face gojo, “well i’m sure you're not here to have a drink or play cards, so please state the nature of your visit.” the man looked at gojo with sharp eyes, anxiously waiting for a response.

“i’m here to strike up a bargain with you.” gojo said in a matter of fact tone. not many people had ever seen the usually cheerful man, act so seriously, his odd demeanor indicated to the experienced sorcerer that whatever gojo needed—was serious.

“i’m all ears.” the man leaned back in his chair, preparing himself for whatever gojo might barter. “tell me naoya, what information can you give me on getou suguru?”

-

you had been holed up in the library for hours reading any book that could give you information on how to handle the weapon getou gifted you. you knew that the scythe was from the golden age of jujutsu, and that it takes any curse user's power if killed with its blade, but that was the full extent of your knowledge on the weapon. miscellaneous books old and new, were scattered around you on your spot on the floor. you had been in the library for so long, you could no longer comfortably sit on the couch, so you took to stretching out on the floor instead.

you fidgeted with the heart shaped necklace around your neck as you skimmed through the book in front of you. you would often absentmindedly play with the piece of jewelry, the object had turned into somewhat of a cornerstone for you. always bringing you comfort, and rooting you back into reality. it was your way of keeping suguru close to you, even when he wasn’t nearby.

you were too immersed in your thoughts to notice getou ducking through the library entryway, taking a moment to watch you. he tucked his hands into his pant pockets, feeling pride swel in his chest at the sight of you taking such an interest in learning about the cursed weapon.

“i should’ve known that i’d find you here.” getou’s voice cut through the silence, pulling your eyes from the paper. you felt almost giddy watching him walk towards you. he squatted down in front of you so that he may speak to you at eye level.

ever the gentleman.

“hi.” you whispered. “hi.” he said, matching your tone. “i haven’t seen you all day.” he mused. his chest felt tight, he suddenly felt afraid that you might have been having second thoughts about what happened between the two of you. “i thought you would want some space.” you mumbled, averting your gaze.

getou quirked a brow, “i suppose a healthy amount of space isn’t a bad thing, but why did you think i would want space?” you pursed your lips, “well i know how men are, you all get weirdly distant after sex.” your cheeks flushed, suddenly feeling foolish for your choice of words.

the man chuckled from above you, still squatting over where you were laying on the floor, “i’m not most men.” he said with a fond look. you sat up, closing the distance between the two of you. your faces were just inches apart, as you spoke through a flirtatious smile.

“that much i know, most men wouldn’t abduct a woman and take them to a hidden realm against their will.” getou’s signature menacing smirk formed on his lips as he took your chin between his pointer finger and thumb, “aw, you're not still on about that, are you doll?”

you narrowed your eyes on the raven haired man, “don’t tease me, suguru.” you said in a wanting tone. his lips hovered just above yours as he spoke, “i wouldn’t dare.” he kissed you then. sweet and fondly, but it was too short lived. getou broke the kiss, and stood pulling you onto your feet with him. you looked up at him with a dazed look, wondering why he stopped.

“there’s somewhere i need to take you today.” he said in a more serious tone. “are we going to another night market?” you inquired, not understanding his change in demeanor. he shook his head, “no. not another night market, in fact you’ll need to bring your scythe.”

you felt even more confused then. where could he be taking you that you would need such a weapon? “i know we don’t see eye to eye on the non-sorcerer situation, but there’s something i’d like for you to see that might change your mind.”

-

getou used his teleportation technique to transport the two of you to the outside of what looked to be an ordinary temple of worship. you turned to face the man. his palm was still sitting on your lower back, resting on top of the long scythe that was slung across your body.

your face formed into a puzzled expression, “are we here to pay homage to the gods?” suguru shook his head solemnly, “no, this is not a temple for sorcerer’s. it’s for non-sorcerer’s only.” he took your hand in his, leading you up the steps of the temple. “you’ll understand soon enough.” he said in a direct manner.

the inside of the golden building seemed normal, like any other place of worship. it was quiet, and there were a handful of people praying silently. you couldn’t see anything wrong with the place. getou led you through a dimly lit corridor, out of the main worship area. the two of you ascended up a narrow staircase that led to a balcony lining the large circular room, overlooking a large group of people below.

suguru’s hand gripped onto yours tighter, he didn’t bother looking down on what was happening below—he already knew. instead the man watched your face as you analyzed the ritual playing out below. “what is this, getou?” you asked in a low tone, not wanting to be overheard. the mass of people below were separated into two groups. ones wearing black robes with silver etching, and others were forced into a kneeling position with their ankles and wrists bound with rope.

“a ritual—or sacrifice rather.” he spoke lowly into your ear. “these people’s religion dictates that any jujutsu sorcerer or anyone who can even see curses for that matter, are evil beings.” your breath hitched in your throat watching a few of the cloaked figures forcing one of the tied up victims to their feet, practically dragging them to the large altar where more cloaked figures stood.

he continued, still watching your face contort in horror, “this ritual is their way of ‘cleansing the world of jujutsu.’” you finally turned to face him, “but why? jujutsu sorcerer’s only work to keep non-sorcerer’s safe. this doesn’t make sense.”

getou nodded his head sympathetically, “you’re right. it doesn’t make sense, but they hate us nonetheless. they wish to exterminate all jujutsu sorcerers, which is why we have to beat them to it—kill them all. before they kill us.” you grimaced at his words, “but not all non-sorcerers are that way, not all of them want to kill us.”

“yes, but enough of them do.” his words carried a sense of finality, causing something to shift in your brain. you looked down at your hand enclosed in getou’s, then back down to the ritual below. the two of you stood in the shadows, watching one of the cloaked figures retrieve a large knife, slicing through the neck of one of the kneeling sorcerer’s. you slapped your free hand over your mouth, not wanting to scream—but even if you did you doubt anyone would have heard you. all of the non-sorcerer’s chanted loudly, while another sorcerer was being brought up for the next sacrifice.

your blood ran cold and a sharp white noise rang in your ear, getou was still speaking but you couldn’t hear him. your cursed energy flared to life as you pulled your scythe from its casing on your back. “wait!” getou called out to you, but you didn’t heed his command. the room was now aware of your presence, but you didn’t care. in fact you were happy to see their once joyful faces contort in fear, the sight only amplified the cursed energy dancing around you.

you were already cutting through the hoard of cloaked bodies by the time getou joined you. you almost felt bad for the cultists. there wasn’t much fight they could put up against the two of you, especially when getou summoned the dragon from his pool of curses. you continued slicing through the people. you swung your blade with a flourish, making your way to the middle of the room where the sorcerer’s were still tied up.

your blade was completely covered in crimson when you finally made it to the hysterical curse users. you looked around the room to find getou taking out the rest of the non-sorcerers before you decided it was safe enough to disarm. you slung your scythe back over your shoulder, and approached the group of curse users slowly. they were so scared, even tied up they tried to scoot away from you as you got near. you put your palms out in front of you, trying to signal that you weren’t a threat, “it’s okay, it’s okay. you’re safe now.”

“please, don’t hurt us.” a girl, about your age whimpered from the cluster of sorcerers. “i’m only here to help.” you said, moving to remove the rope from her limbs. seeing the state of her, and the rest of the group made you feel justified in your slaughter of the cultists. this whole situation was wrong, and these people were innocent.

you were still making work of untying everyone in the group of young and old, when getou called his dragon back into his cursed orb and joined you at your side. the sorcerer’s seemed to be paralyzed in fear even when they were freed from their restraints, not moving or speaking. they only looked up to you as if waiting for your command.

getou’s looked perfectly content when you turned to face him, “what’s wrong with them? they aren’t doing anything.” you asked in a confused tone. “well, you just saved their lives.” an older man from the group finally spoke up, “yes, you saved us. now we owe you a life debt.” you shifted your eyes back and forth from the man and getou, feeling even more confused. the man bowed from his spot on the floor, his head was practically touching the floor before he rose to face you once more. “with this life debt i will follow you wherever you go, and serve you to the best of my ability.” the man spoke certainly, and the others nodded in agreement.

you waved a hand dismissively, “oh that’s not necessary, i-“ suguru reached for your hand. “you can’t reject a life debt once it is claimed, and even if you could, we will need them in the future.” you couldn’t understand why either one of you could possibly need a bunch of sorcerer’s who probably weren’t even at a level four. you crossed your arms against your chest, “why would we need them in the future?” you wondered.

“there’s a war coming doll, and we’re going to need every sorcerer we can get.”

a/n: this is a plot heavy chapter yes i know we hate plot heavy chapters BUT IT MUST BE DONE

________________________________

“non-sorcerer’s can only exist in three states of being.” getou explained from his spot next to you in the bed. “consumption, creation, and idleness.” he raised three fingers to represent each state of being. “though consumption is the most common, being that your average non-sorcerer spends most of their day consuming content that someone else created. there is still the possibility of creation and idleness.” he pointed to the middle finger, “idleness is usually only reached when one is meditating or sleeping.”

you continued to listen intently as he lowered his hand, using it to pull your body closer to his. “—but sorcerer’s have the ability to tap into a fourth state of being.” you perked up, having never heard of such a thing. in all your years of sorcery education you have never heard of a fourth state of being.

he continued to elaborate, “sorcerer’s have the ability to tap into the void state. this is not to be confused with idleness. existing in a state of void allows for a curse user to tap into an innate source of power that cannot be obtained otherwise.”

you nodded your head slightly starting to understand where this speech was leading, “so this is why you think non-sorcerer’s are subhuman? because they can’t tap into the void state?” getou chuckled, “well it’s one of many reasons, yes.”

you turned over in the bed, having grown tired of the conversation. noticing your frustration, getou placed a light hand on your hip and spoke softly into your ear. “want breakfast?” you silently nodded your head in response. his hand moved to give your ass a final squeeze before he crawled out of the bed. “so pouty.” he said before exiting the room.

your so-called pouty demeanor stimed from your ever conflicted mind. you were still having a hard time coming to terms with the recent events. so much had happened in so little time, and every moment spent with suguru challenged your former beliefs of the jujutsu world.

your irritation seemed to melt away after a hearty breakfast. over the course of your stay in what now seemed to be equally your home as it was getou’s; you took notice of how mornings were suguru’s favorite time of day.

the house spirits took care of everything around the house, except cooking. the act of creating a meal from scratch that could nourish the body was always a calming practice for the experienced sorcerer. your presence being added to his typically lonesome mornings, gave him even more reason to put extra effort into whatever he was preparing for you.

after watching you clear your plate clean, the man smiled at you as he leaned against the kitchen counter with his arms crossed comfortably at his chest. he wondered if every morning could be similar to this one.

you were wiping the crumbs away from your lips when you took notice of suguru staring from across the kitchen, “what?”

getou pushed off of the counter and smiled as he walked towards you. “nothing. nothing at all.” he chuckled. it amazed him how you were so blind at how much he enjoyed your presence; how much he loved it in fact.

your body almost melted into the barstool when getou moved behind you to wrap his arms around your waist, and spoke into your ear. it didn’t matter how often his fingers touched your body, or how frequently you heard his voice speaking softly into your ear, it was a sensation that you were sure you could never get used to.

“‘wanna go get dressed, doll? we have a long day ahead of us.” you turned to face him, “and what am i getting dressed for? another one of your field trips?” getou hummed into your hair and gripped onto your waist tighter, “we both know i love a good field trip. that’s why i’m taking you to see our little soldiers. i want to see how much progress they’ve made since we got them out of that temple.”

you almost felt guilty for a moment, with your recent run in with naoya zenin you had forgotten about the sorcerer’s the two of you liberated from the cultist ritual. after they were sent to be trained with getou’s men, all thoughts of the group were put on the back burner of your mind.

you shuffled out of the chair and getou’s grasp, to go ready yourself for the day, but before exiting the kitchen you turned to face the raven haired man, “you know i was planning on spending another day with you in bed, but i guess i’ll let you take me on one of your little excursions.” you said teasingly.

you were halfway down the hall when you heard a deep voice call out from the kitchen, “don’t tease me! you know i’ll make you pay for it later!”

i’m counting on it. you thought.

an underground complex beneath the streets of tokyo was not what you were expecting to see when getou said you would be going to check on his potential army of sorcerer’s. it took your eyes a moment to adjust to the dark surroundings of the concrete complex where the two of you teleported.

getou acknowledged your confusion, “it’s safer for them here. an underground facility like this can keep out any potential intruders.” you nodded at his explanation, and let him guide you down the dark hallway.

the two of you followed the dim blue lights that lined the concrete walls that eventually led to a large door. getou typed a short number sequence into the pin pad attached to a panel on the door, causing it to slide open quickly with a hydronic hiss.

the cold silence of the hallway was quickly washed away when you laid eyes on the scene playing out past the entryway. the door led the two of you into what looked like a huge communal living space. a large square in the middle of the dome-like space was being occupied by many people participating in various activities. some were sparring, while others looked to be sharing food and chatting.

you gripped onto getou’s hand when you realized that you recognized who the people were, they were the sorcerers that you saved. it took you so long to realize this fact because all of the people looked much different from when you had first met them—they looked happy and healthy, no longer scared and frail.

getou turned to face you, noticing your awed expression, “they all are doing much better now. all thanks to you.” his words snapped you out of your thoughts, causing you to face him with wide eyes, “thanks to me?” you questioned. “yes, it was you who sprang into action that day. it was you who decided to save them.”

before you had the chance to respond, an unfamiliar face broke free from the crowd and approached the two of you quickly. you eyed the unusual looking man as he approached. he was a tall man with a long black stripe covering the bridge of his nose and both cheeks and two spiky buns in his hair. he wasn’t the most conventional looking person, but he carried a warm aura around him.

getou smiled at the man, and let the stranger pull him in for a hug. you arched a brow at this, having known that getou was never much of a hugger. even with his closest friends. “how are you doing choso?” getou asked. “i’m doing just fine brother, and so are the rest of the family.” he said, motioning to the room of people.

this guy’s really family oriented. you thought.

getou hummed, “good. good.” getou then turned to you, “choso, i’d like for you to meet my—“ silence filled the air as getou wondered how you should be introduced. we’re you his girlfriend? his captive? his partner? he didn’t know.

you took initiative by cutting getou off and reaching out to shake choso’s hand and introduced yourself, hoping that he wouldn’t notice the previous awkward silence.

choso looked at you with an admirative smile, “so you’re the one who’s responsible for these people being able to live another day.” you blushed, having guessed that getou relayed the story to choso. “guess so.” you laughed uncomfortably.

it was getou’s turn to but in for you and redirect the conversation, “that’s why we’re here choso. we need to discuss just how ready this lot is for war.” choso’s expression turned soloum.

“so we have a war on the horizon.” he turned and motioned for the two of you to follow. “we’ll need to talk more in my private quarters. follow me.”

getou and yourself were led into another room lined with concrete, except this one was smaller and clearly set up to be an office space. choso sat behind his desk and invited the two of you to take a seat. choso leaned forward and laced his fingers together on top of the desk, “so, how much time do we have?”

getou’s brows furrowed in thought, “there’s no way to be sure, but we know that gojo is working with naoya zenin. naoya’s only in it for the money, but this is personal for gojo.” getou turned to face you, wondering if this was a good idea letting you in on this conversation. neither one of you talked about it, but you both knew your feelings for gojo were still convoluted.

choso grumbled, “they aren’t ready yet. some of them are younger than the others and still aren’t even up to a grade four. i need more time to train them. if they go into battle now, they would be as good as dead.” he said frankly. you shifted uncomfortably in your seat at the thought of all those people happily eating, talking, and sparring being led to their deaths.

getou sighed, “well, in that case we’ll have to expedite the process. we’ll help you train them.” your neck shot to the side to meet getou’s eyes and quickly cut him off, “we will? and when did you plan on discussing this with me? i don’t even know if i want to be involved in this so-called war, much less train an army of sorcerer’s.” your voice came out smooth and even, but the men could see the icy glare in your eyes.

choso cleared his throat awkwardly, “i will let you two have some privacy. i’m needed in the training square anyways.” he said, quickly ushering himself out of the office, leaving you and getou alone. when the door clicked shut you let out a huff and stood. you couldn’t help but pace about the room, confusion and irritation took over your train of thought.

getou finally broke the silence after deciding that he couldn’t bare to see you make another lap around the office, “i’m sorry.” he said lowly. you stopped in your tracks. “what?”

getou stood from the chair and made his way towards you. he placed his hands gently on your waist, hoping that it would ease the anxious tension in your body. he peered down at you for a moment with caring eyes, “i said im sorry.” you let out another tight breath at his words, feeling the knot in your chest release. it never did take much for you to forgive suguru, you would probably never lose the soft spot that you had for him. no matter what the circumstances were.

he continued, “i shouldn’t have volunteered for the both of us before talking to you first. it’s just that we’re always on one accord with each other. i just assumed that you would be okay with it; i assumed wrongly, and for that i am wrong.”

you pressed your forehead to his chest, letting him embrace you fully. “i’m just still so confused about all of this.” you spoke with a muffled voice into getou’s shirt. he placed a kiss into your hair, “i know doll, i’m sorry. i’ll try my best not to place any more emotional burdens on you. i promise.”

his hands left your waist, to cup your face in his palms. “i love you too much to be the main cause of your stress.” his words rendered you completely speechless.

love?

your brain seemed to lose all processing power and you had no time to try to think his words over, before his lips connected to your own initiating a kiss that felt like exactly that. love.

No Surprises

cw: angst, geto just makes me so sad bruh idek, post riko arc featuring: suguru geto

a/n: this song is so sad and i feel sad and yeah i dont really know where i was going with this. also i need someone to like super deeply analyze geto and his character and his morals and everything, cuz i don't think i did it right but whatever. lmk how this is !!

No Surprises

"a job that slowly kills you, bruises that won't heal.." ─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───

'exorcise, consume, exorcise, consume, exorcise, consume, exorcise, cons-'

"suguru! you got the curse?" you call out.

he slowly turns towards you, a blank look on his face. "yeah."

"hmm.. they don't taste good?" you half-heartedly joke, wiping the curses blood off your hand.

"they're curses, what do you think they taste like?" he questions, tired from the day of missions.

"i don't know, you tell me.." you say, giving him a soft smile.

after he moment of thinking, he responds, "like a rag used to clean vomit."

"oh!.." you pause, "how about we head back?"

wordlessly, he walks past you and heads in the direction of the school's building. .・。.・゜✭・.

"you look so tired, unhappy."

"you okay..?" you ask, as suguru crawls into bed. he never takes more than 15 minutes in the shower, always complaining that you're wasting the water. but recently, he's been in the shower for over an hour. you know that it's a way for him to drown out his worries, but frankly, you feel worried.

he's changed since riko's death. and not for the better.

"long day." he responds, turning away from you.

"hmm.. you wanna talk about it?" you ask, laying down next to him and wrapping an arm around him and pulling him to your chest.

"i'm.." he sighs. "i'm so sick of this. i've had enough of the sorceror life. i know how it'll end."

"it was so much.. pressure. just living. because i was one of the strongest, i had to look out for the weak. i don't get it. humans are the cause of the curses. it''s their own fault. why should we have to protect them from something they caused?! there's no point!"

"i mean, they're causing their own suffering. and i can't stand it anymore."

"i've made up my mind, (y/n).." he sighs, "i'm done."

"well..." you start, "there's always a reason, suguru. i know how you're feeling, and i promise you, it gets better. you just need to pull through."

and he tried, but maybe that wasn't the answer he needed. maybe he didn't need one at all, and just needed someone to listen. because when you woke up, he was gone. and an entire village was massacred.

Tangled

cw: tangled au! reader wears a dress and has VERY long hair, geto as flynn ryder, reader as rapunzel featuring: geto suguru | 1 | 2

a/n: hello!! i hope you enjoy this au, i've loved this movie since i was a kid and rewatch it all the time! lmk how this is!!

Tangled

the sound of running footsteps could be heard as geto suguru ran across rooftops and into the room holding the crown in the royal castle. right before entering, they go over the plan once more.

"okay, tie me to the rope, when i get the crown i'll tug on it. pull me up," he states with his arms out, waiting to be tied.

with a shared look, the twins nod and tie geto off. removing the roof's tile, they slowly lower him in.

nearing the crown, geto is about to grab it but a guard's sneeze interrupts him. "allergies suck, right?" geto asks, taking the crown and placing it in his satchel.

"yeah, tell me about it." the guard agrees, with a light laugh. "hey! wait-" he yells, realizing the questions came from behind him.

"see ya!" geto calls out, and takes off with the satchel, the twins following close behind. "we got the crown, let's head back."

but of course, stealing the royal crown is never easy. because when the guards eventually catch up and corner the three thieves, they have to turn and run in the opposite direction.

they eventually reach a dead end and are forced to climb.

"boost me, and i'll pull you guys up." suguru says, turning to look at them. they share a look and say,

"give us the satchel."

"wh- are you serious? you don't trust me?" suguru says, with faux-betrayal shown on his face. the twins just stare at him with a blank stare.

"ow." he continues, handing the satchel to them.

they put their hands together and boost him onto the hill, one arm out in expectancy.

"sorry," suguru starts, "my hands are full." he shows the satchel and speeds off.

"geto!!" the twin yells, cursing said 18-year-old as he runs away.

.・。.・゜✭・.

suguru runs and runs and eventually finds a tree to hide behind. he looks to his left and sees a 'wanted' poster of himself.

"oh, no. no, no no. this is terrible," he mumbles to himself. "they fucked up my nose. so badly."

before he has the chance to mourn over the god-awful poster, a palace horse catches him and decides to play tag, chasing after him in an attempt to retrieve the stolen satchel.

the horse catches up and the two wrestle for the satchel, tripping over a log and running off the cliff in the process. they hold onto each other but are eventually broken apart when the log they're on hits a large branch.

.・。.・゜✭・.

at the same time somewhere else:

"(y/n)! let down your hair!" you hear your mother call out from below the tower.

"coming!" you yell, swinging your hair over a very strong nail in the door and letting your hair down.

your mother ties herself up, tugs on the hair, and you pull her up.

"oh (y/n)! doing the same task every day without fail must be so very tiring, right dear?" she says, twirling your hair around her finger.

"oh, it's nothing mother!" you respond cheerfully.

"then i don't know why it takes so long!!" she quips. "i'm just teasing, dear. loosen up!"

"uh, haha" you let out a nervous chuckle. "anyways! i have something very important thing to tell you!" you share, gleefully.

"(y/n), look in the mirror. do you know what i see? i see a very beautiful, responsible, and intelligent young woman." your mother starts, staring at herself. "oh, you're there too!" she laughs teasingly.

"oh! okay, well as i was saying-"

"(y/n), mother's feeling very run down, how about i comb you're hair." she half asks, half demands.

"of course!" you say, quickly setting up a chair for her and a stool for yourself. as she walks closer, you push her into the chair, shove a comb in one hand and your hair in the other.

"flower gleam and glow let your power shine, make the clock reverse, bring back what once was mine. heal what has been hurt, change the fate's design, save what has been lost, bring back what once was mine." you sing in one breath, your hair glowing and quickly fading to it's natural colour as quickly as it appeared.

"anyway! since you kinda keep cutting me off, i'll just say it! tomorrow's my birthday!!" you gleam, hugging your mother's arm.

"no, no, no, no. i clearly remember, your birthday was last year," she states, matter-of-factly, lightly shoving you off her arm.

"that's the thing about birthdays, they're an annual thing." you smile. "and what i really want for this birthday, and what i've wanted for every birthday..." you begin, mumbling.

"out with it." your mother demands, fed up with the mumbling.

"i want to see the floating lights!" you exclaim. "actually, i was hoping you would take me to see the floating lights." you correct, using you hair to pull back the curtains on the wall to reveal your painting.

"ah.. you mean the stars." she smiles.

"that's the thing. i've charted stars, and they're always constant. but these.. these happen on my birthday, and only on my birthday. and.. i can't help but feel they're meant.. for me.." you say, pulling back another curtain and showing a painting of stars.

letting out an exasperated sigh, your mother sits on the chair and states, "the outside world is a dangerous place (y/n), i've told you."

"i know but-"

"i knew one day you would want to leave the nest.." she starts, getting up.

"i knew someday you'd want to go explore.." she continues.

"but-"

"soon! but not yet, trust me pet." she interjects. "mother.. knows best." she finishes, leaving your questions unanswered.

"oh.. i see.." you respond, dejectedly. this causes her to pull you into a tight hug.

"(y/n). don't ever ask to leave this tower, again." she commands, coldly.

"okay.." you say.

"mother loves you very much dear," she sighs, wrapping her cloak around herself.

"i love you more," you respond, as she prepares to leave.

"i love you most." .・。.・゜✭・.

"i'll see you in a bit my flower" she calls out, waving as she reaches the bottom of the tower.

"i'll be here.." you mumble, resting your face on one hand and waving with the other.

.・。.・゜✭・.

after what feels like an eternity of running, suguru stumbles upon an empty tower in the middle of nowhere.

'perfect' he thinks, taking two sticks and climbing up along the wall.

"finally.." he starts, opening his satchel and pulling out the crown, staring at it lovingly. "alone at last.."

with a hit to the head from a frying pan, he's knocked out cold.

Tangled

cw: tangled au! reader wears a dress and has VERY long hair, geto as flynn ryder, reader as rapunzel featuring: geto suguru 1 | 2 |

a/n: hello!! i'm so glad you guys liked the first part, i did make some very little changes to it after it was posted, but here's the second one lmk how it is!! <33

tags: @cofijelli (lmk if you want to be tagged in future parts)

Tangled

you come out from hiding behind a mannequin and clutch the frying pan to your chest.

the strange man's eyes flutter open, and you knock him out with the pan again. you look over to your chameleon, pascal, and he gestures to check for sharp teeth, as your mother was telling you all outside people have them.

you use the handle and lift his upper lip, not seeing any teeth. feeling a bit relieved, and hit him once more with the pan for good measures.

'what is mother gonna say? oh god, what do i do?' you think to yourself. 'no, this is good. i can prove myself. i am strong enough to leave.'

you head back towards the unconscious man and, using all your strength, you haul his body into a nearby closet, and block it with a chair.

you notice a crown has fallen out of the satchel, and head toward the mirror to try it on. you put it around your wrist like a bracelet, receiving a look of disapproval from pascal, and then put it on your head, earning you another.

you open the satchel and find a 'wanted' poster of the criminal in your closet. 'suguru geto, wanted dead or alive.'

"(y/n)! let down your hair!" you hear.

"coming!"

you shove the crown and poster into a satchel, and then into a nearby pot.

after helping your mother into the tower, she says,

"i have the biggest surprise for you, dear!"

"i do too.." you chuckle nervously.

"ooh, i bet mine is bigger. i'm making hazelnut soup for dinner, your favourite! surprise!"

"well.. mother. i've been thinking about what you said earlier.."

"i hope you're not still talking about the stars," she says.

"floating lights," you correct, "and yes i'm leading up to it.."

"because i really thought we'd dropped this conversation."

"i know you think i'm not strong enough to handle myself out there.." you start.

"ohh, i know you're not strong enough to handle yourself out there." she cuts you off.

"but if you'd just-"

"(y/n)."

"just listen.."

"(y/n).." she growls, feeling more agitated.

"just look, mother-"

"enough, (y/n)! you are never leaving this tower! ever!" she shouts, eyes crazed and wild.

slowly, you take your hand off of the chair blocking the closet and look at the painting you made of the 'stars'. with tears welling up in your eyes, you say,

"i know what i want for my birthday now.."

"and what is that?" she questions, pinching her nose bridge.

"new paint, the kind made from the shells you once brought me.." you say.

"(y/n), that would be a three-day trip," she responds.

"i just thought it would be a better idea than.. the stars." you sigh.

"okay.. i'll go get them."

.・。.・゜✭・.

"are you sure you'll be alright." your mother asks, packing food into a basket for herself.

"i know i'm safe as long as i'm here," you respond, hugging her as she places a kiss on your head.

"alright, i'll see you in three days," she states, lowering herself using your hair.

.・。.・゜✭・.

suguru wakes up tied to a chair, hair all around him, and a chameleon sticking its tongue in his ear.

"what the hell?!" he shouts out, rubbing his ear with his shoulder, trying to remove the uncomfortable feeling.

"i'm not afraid of you.." you call out from the shadows, using your hair to swing yourself down from the ledge you were previously standing on.

"...huh?" he mumbles, shocked and confused by the amount of hair you have. "what..?"

"..how did you find me, suguru geto..?' you question, slowly raising your frying pan.

"uh- yeah, uhm. suguru's fine. anyway, it's really not that deep girlie-"

"(y/n)." you interrupt.

"yeah- i was running away from guards, saw a tower climbed it, and.." he pauses. "where's my satchel?" he asks frantically, throwing an accusing look your way.

"i've hidden it, somewhere you'll never find it." you say, crossing your arms with a proud look on your face.

"it's in that pot, isn't it," he states.

*CLANG*

fwip

"would you stop that!" he shouts, rubbing his ear with his shoulder again.

"now, i've hidden it somewhere you'll never find it." you start, "so what do you want with my hair, to cut it?"

"huh?

"sell it?"

"no?? look, the only thing i want is it to get out of your hair. literally!"

"you- wh-" you stammer, "you're telling the truth?"

"yes! i saw a tower, i climbed it. the end."

turning away, you hold pascal in your hand a communicate with him.

"i know, i need someone to take me."

"this could be my only chance." you explain to the chameleon.

coming to a conclusion, you begin, "okay suguru geto, let's make a deal."

"a deal?" he asks, giving you a judgmental look.

"yes. a deal. look here." you start, turning him to look at your painting of the lights.

"do you know what these are?' you question.

"the lantern thing they do for the lost princess?"

'i knew they weren't stars' you think.

"yes, tomorrow night, they'll float in the sky. you will take me to see them, return me home safely, and only then will you get your precious satchel. that is my proposal." you explain.

"yeah, uh, no. the city and my aren't really 'best friends' at the moment, so no. i'm not taking you anywhere." he says, trying to free himself from the hair prison.

"then you can say 'bye' to your satchel." you retort, tightening the hair on his wrists, halting further movement.

"bye then." he says, calling your bluff.

"something brought you here. call it what you will. fate, destiny-"

"a horse."

"so i have decided to trust you." you continue.

"a garbage decision at that."

"but trust me when i tell you this, you can tear this tower apart brick by brick. but without my help, you will never see your dear satchel again." you threaten, pulling the chair so he's at eye-level with you.

"i take you to see the lantern, bring you back, and you promise to let me go?" he inquires.

"i promise."

"??" he gives you a look that tells you he isn't quite convinced.

"and i never break my promises.. ever," you add.

"fine. we'll go." he sighs, giving in.

"really??" you gleam, letting go of the chair and dropping suguru on his face.

"ow."

dear mother — stsg x fem!reader

synopsis : you’ve finally enrolled into jujutsu tech, sad thing is, you’re totally clueless.

includes / cw : emotionally abusive mother

a /n : ch1 of my “all mine” series!!!

Dear Mother Stsg X Fem!reader

"i'm ogawa [name]. i'm from sendai japan. please take care of me."

you bow politely. smiling at the tiny class of three as you rise, posture nervous and stiff.

"if i knew there was someone new i would've thrown a welcome party!" a white haired boy who's eyes are protected by circular black glasses exclaims excitedly, a smile big on his lips. you admit you're a bit intimidated. the idea of a party for you seems a bit over the top, though.

a boy on his left scoffs almost affectionately, the soft look he sends to his counterpart familiar to you. you always looked at the street cats like that, your mother as well (you try not to think about it). he has a bang over his left eye, you wonder if someone has ever tried to tuck it behind his ear.

"there's no need for a party. my arrival can't be that exciting," you chuckle shyly.

they all analyze you. so you settle with looking at your shuffling shoes.

"she speaks so formally." the gojo boy leans over with a hand cupped around his mouth as he whispers to his best friend, causing you to look up. it's a bit silly that he's acting as if he's whispering a secret even though everyone can hear him.

his friend eyes you apologetically.

there's another girl, the only one who seems actually interested as she stares you down. you flinch as you catch her gaze. her hair is short, in a brown bob that frames her face perfectly. her bangs are tucked behind her ear and there's a mole you catch on her face that convinces you she's model worthy.

other than your mother you've never thought a woman was so pretty.

"so new girl, what's your cursed technique."

new girl.. but i swore i said my name. did i not?

ignoring the white haired boy's lack of manners was easy, since you weren't all that aware he was being rude.

"i actually... don't know."

all three students chorused at the same time.

"hah?"

scouted? me? when you heard such a thing, you were confused and honestly, really surprised. you weren't talented by any means. outside of studying you didn't have much going on. not only that, but your mother kept you in the house a lot. so to hear of someone from jujutsu tech finding you worthy enough to attend had you blinking, astonished.

you were aware of what jujutsu was, cursed techniques and all of that jazz, but your knowledge was still limited beyond that. your mom was adamant on you not attending for reasons she refused to tell. obviously you didn't push. you never liked seeing her with a temper.

the man who recommended you was named yaga masamichi. he'd taken note of the significant amount of cursed energy you possessed when passing by you on your way to school. your family weren't jujutsu sorcerers from what you were aware of — you honestly weren't even sure that there were jujutsu sorcerers or people like you until now. but you'd never put it past your mom to hide something like that from you.

she always kept jujutsu related talk under wraps, only giving you little information to quell your curiosity.

you didn't even know what your cursed technique was. or if you even had one. even though you tried to understand why she does what she does, it still felt very lonely — seeing such heinous creatures and having to pretend they didn't exist for your own safety.

if it weren't for the fact that you instinctively learned to control your cursed energy output, you could've been in serious danger.

and although it was painful to go through such things alone — not being able to confide in a single person — you understood why your mother did it. all she wanted to do was keep you safe.

and even if you followed all of her rules of no jujutsu to a T, you couldn't help the sensation of excitement and relief knowing that there were so many other people out there just like you. a school of them, even.

you wanted badly to be upset with your mother, the fact that she knew about all of this and kept it from you. but even the thought of being angry at her when all she wanted was to protect you had you pushing down those foolish feelings.

other than secretive, your mother was also very stubborn. a trait that you always admired until this very moment.

she argued that you didn't belong into a school that was practically a death trap for young teens. always listening to your mother like an obedient puppy, you looked down at the floor, preparing for the inevitable rejection, expression sad as you shuffled your shoes alongside your mothers that were planted firm on the ground — you resisted the urge to distance yourself from her.

your eyes drifted to the shoes that were yaga's hoping no one would question your silence (they never did).

your mother wasn't a bad person. never that. but sometimes you couldn't help but get upset at the decisions she made in your stead. you wouldn't say that she didn't consider you, but sometimes it kinda felt that way.

"i get where you're coming from. jujutsu tech is a dangerous place and i hate to bring such young talented kids into such risks. but you have to understand your daughters side," he gestured towards you, your mothers eyes dropping to your head that perked up before they glared back at yaga.

"how do you think she feels knowing she has the opportunity to branch out and gain knowledge about these abilities. do you think she wants to stay ignorant because you do?"

your ears rang as the last sentence was spoken.

"do you think she wants to stay ignorant because you do?"

it resonated with you in a way you couldn't comprehend. all you could do was clutch your chest as a foreign feeling of relief left your choked up throat in a bated breath. the exhale feeling as if you were being freed from something. being seen.

"[name], my sweet darling baby," she caressed the top of your head. it was instinct to lean into her touch, even though at the moment you couldn't sort out how you felt towards her.

she's protecting you. the words whisper in your ear, like a disease that is incurable, like a predator that sinks its fangs and refuses to let go.

"mommy wants you to stay home with her. please consider it. it's so dangerous out there, and i really don't want you to get hurt," she cooed. it made you feel sick and you hated not knowing why. even though her words were meant to console you, they only made you want to run.

your eyes were glued to the dirty mat that you and your mother refused to clean, maybe because it was the most familiar thing in this constant changing house. there were five pairs of shoes, you, yaga, and mother and two unworn pairs off to the side, both meant for other occasions, better ones. ones that don't include the ringing of your ears and the well of your tears as they collect on your lashes. maybe it's an occasion where you're at a nice dinner with your mom, a rare treat whenever she deemed herself in the mood.

the bigger pair of shoes shifted. yaga.

"miss ogawa. i don't mean to overstep, but have you considered you're babying your 15 year old child? maybe you need to consider that she can make her own-"

"don't you dare tell me how to parent my own damn child." her voice is dripping with venom, the venom that seeps through you and whispers in your ear.

i just want to protect you.

your mothers anger was never a calm one, it was loud and furious, voice bouncing off the walls as she tried restraining herself from getting violent. so hearing her talk to the man in such a familiar tone had you quivering in her hold.

your mother, never under the assumption that she could ever be the reason you were upset, deduced that your shivers were caused by yaga.

so she glares, long and hard, and her lips move to form the words you were dreading, "my daughter is not attending your shit school. get out of my house.”

...

other than the sound of life beyond the door, there only laid cold, anxious silence.

you were afraid to look up, your mother's shirt being your only anchor. but from the resigned sigh that left yaga's lips, you were well aware of the expression he was making — one of anger, and disappointment. realizing that seeking you out was a waste of his time.

or so you assumed.

for he could only look at you in pity, acknowledging how painful a relationship like this must be for you, and in longing, hoping foolishly that he could lend a helping hand.

a rough calloused hand entered your vision, a piece of ripped paper in the grip of his fingers.

yaga gestured it towards you patiently, a look of sorrow marring his usually calm expression. "if there's a change, please call this number."

your mom ripped it from his grasp right before you could touch it. she crumpled it in her hand. "there won't be a change. now get the fuck out of my house."

you could only stare in horror at your mothers fist that held the only thing that could possibly change the trajectory of your life. even as yaga bowed and turned around, even as the door slammed shut behind him. even as mother soothed you with quiet coos meant for a baby, even as she turned towards the kitchen to start on dinner, even as she sat you down and commented on your silence. even as she watched you absentmindedly pick on your food, even as she started to become agitated at your lack of response, and even as she treaded up the stairs to her bedroom. your eyes stayed glued to that one hand.

you blinked, eyes dry and mouth parched as you suddenly remembered that you weren't at the front door anymore while your mother cradled you in her arms.

your eyes drift to the front door, and you approach it slowly. you don't know why you stand there or why your hand touched the door knob.

maybe it's because you're hopeful that the man is behind this door. waiting patiently for you to open it, prepared with the words of acceptance. maybe something amongst it that helps you figure out what the hell to do.

"a school of them." you whispered, the only thing capable of leaving your dry mouth.

there was a school of them. proof that you really weren't alone in this cursed world. how could you possibly go back to the difficult life of acting as if everything was normal when it wasn't? blue auras were around everybody, and the grotesque creatures festered from the negative feelings surrounding those people. and there were those out there who knew how to get rid of those things for the sake of others.

knowing all of this, you couldn't stand by and not lend a hand, not learn to control the one thing that's burdened you your entire life. but..

you looked up the stairs, seeing just the top of your mothers door.

what would she do? she needed you. you both took care of each other, you couldn't leave her behind.

but you needed this. you wanted to figure all of this out. control theses abilities and hopefully get to know people who were just like you. and... you could always come back.

yeah.

who said you had to stay? you would go, go to jujutsu high, reach your goals, and return to your mother.

because even though you may make friends with those of similar backgrounds to you, your mother was a constant in your life, never changing. you couldn't abandon her. you wouldn't.

so with this new resolve in your heart, you snuck up to her room. she kept her door creaked for unknown reasons, maybe to keep an eye on you, but you ignored that and thanked its convenience for this very moment.

she was asleep. snoring.

you treaded carefully over to the bed, eyes focused on the bags growing under her lashes. the sight made your lips twitch into a small frown. you delicately tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. listening to her steady breathing as she dreamt the night away.

"wait for me, mother.”

you turned away and grabbed the piece of paper off of her nightstand, leaving the room with a sense of urgency.

you dialed yaga's number after locking your bedroom door, pacing around in circles as the phone rung. the ringing resonated in your ears like a ticking clock. you didn't really have time. if he wouldn't answer now you'd never get your chance.

your mom was an early bird and you could already feel yourself getting drowsy.

"i mean. who even calls this late. he might be asleep..." you whisper defeatedly and pull the phone away from your ear to hang up, but it lights up with his icon and you jump in excitement.

"miss. ogawa?"

"masamichi-san. it's [name]."

Dear mother,

I've departed, something I'm sure you noticed. As much as I wanted to obey you, I couldn't just abandon the opportunity that could help change my life for the better. I know you were trying to protect me, and I know that it's dangerous. But I can't live knowing that my life could be different. I can't just sit by and watch this spark of light dim, let my world go dark again. I'm not like you, mother. I will not stay ignorant. Wait for me, please.

I lov-

a loud shrewd rip echoes through the quiet house. your mother's eyes are dull, face empty as she starts furiously ripping the paper to shreds.

she suddenly screams out in anger, tears of frustration bubbling and blurring her vision. she grips her hair in agony as she starts chanting curses.

"dammit dammit, dammit!! i told her it was dangerous. i told her. damn her!! good for nothing daughter... not listening to a fucking word i say!!"

your mom stomps angrily out of her room, not caring for the small pieces of paper she tramples over.

"I love you,"

"mother."
