A dog because I adore them and I’d like to see things from their perspective.

Both, it depends on the situation and person.  I always speak my mind with my family and close friends, unless it would hurt them.  I’m sometimes hesitant to speak my mind with strangers though.

So many things: games (obviously the Sims), TV shows I love, magazines, cosmetics, christmas market river cruises, travel, baking, the paranormal, interior design/architecture, graphic design, dogs...

An Au/alternate universe you've been plotting for: I've been trying to do research for a hockey time travel/dimension travel(the chance of me screwing up the timeline for this au like every other is high) au, where I pick up at least 1 player and 1 goalie from the current time and throw them back to around 1918, and see how they would do during games, and in post WWI Canada and USA. Hockey history facts to put things into prospective 1917/1918 is when goalies were allowed to touch the ice with their knees.(They still played mostly in the stand up style they're use to) Goalie masks technically wouldn't come in until a few years later with the first known person being a female goalie in a fencing mask. There was no rule about leaving a stick in the net, yet. Slap shots don't exist until like 1937. Player skates look more like goalie skates. Goalies normally don't have water with them at the net. The play is slower because a team is like about 8 people not 20ish. Helmet where? Shoot top shelf? Nope, hockey stick blades aren't curved yet to do that (the curve blade was an accidental discovery, when a stick got jammed into a doorframe overnights before a game and got curved. Lmao). The sticks were sold wood, so a lot more heavy and less forgiving. Backup goalie where? (It just wasn't very common)

I don't care much for films, as I don't have the attention span necessary to sit still and do nothing for that long, but since I loved the book, I had to see the film. It was good, but it would have worked better as a series in my opinion, as it cut way too much from the book

Currently reading: We Could Be So Good by Cat Sebastian. I'm a sucker for gay historical romances, and this one's set in 1950s New York, at a newspaper press. Also while it's not explicitly stated, one of MCs, Andy, is very heavily implied to be autistic, so points for good autistic rep

Sweet, spicy, or savory?: I love sweets, especially red velvet cake, and Haribo gummies. I'm also very fond of Lindt nuxor, and stracciatella lindor truffles

Last thing I searched online: Daki flan. Daki flan plushies are very difficult to come by where I live, and it was just my luck that a store near me happened to have a fresh shipment of giant daki flan plushies in stock. One is now on its way to me

Last thing I searched for writing purposes: Silver pointe shoes. When coming up for a design for Ariel (MC of my WIP, Night Of The Blue Moon)'s magical girl costume, I wanted to create something that was both practical and pretty, and since Ariel did ballet as a teenager, pointe shoes seemed like the perfect option

Current obsession: We Could Be So Good. I'm very, very in love with this book right now. The domestic 1950s newspaper gays took my heart, and they won't give it back. AAAAAA

I have a huge sweet tooth, so there’s your answer. I love Italian desserts, especially stracciatella gelato and cannolis, though I can also be swayed by Japanese sweets. I will never say no to yukimi daifuku ^_^

It changes frequently but is usually within the range of blue and purple hues (sometimes it's an orange or yellow, and I do really adore certain greens).

Currently Watching

Ahh, this is perpetually changing but here's the shows I'm currently on: Supernatural, The Boys, Demon Slayer, My Hero Academia, One Piece, Doctor Who... and I've been rewatching House a bit, plus just finished Dungeon Meshi!

Sweet, Savoury, or Spicy?

Again this changes a bit, depends what I'm craving. Often I'll have a savoury craving, or want to mix salty and sweet (I adore salted caramel tim tams). I can't really do spicy much, but I do have a chipotle mayo I cannot resist adding to bacon sandwiches (it tastes so good especially if it's a blt).

Current Obsession

Dungeon Meshi, I got a glass cup recently when I went to Kaiga Convention with the characters on it and it brings me so much joy. The seller was Ratpowers if you wanted to know, his art is great so I definitely recommend checking him out!

Last thing I Googled

For a story? I think eye surgery, specifically taking out an eyeball... no wait it was bird eyes. In general? I just googled if tim tams was one word or two for this post.

Favourite Season

I desperately want to say Autumn but let's be real outside the aesthetic and colour palette I'm actually a Summer girl. Although, coming from the tropics of Darwin (Northern Territory, Australia) I grew up with the seasons simply being Wet Season or Dry Season and in that respect I love me the Wet Season!

A skill I'd like to learn

Ballroom dancing, more specifically I want to learn how to do a simple waltz. My partner has agreed when we're engaged and planning our wedding (hopefully in the not too distant future) that he'll go with me to lessons!

Best Advice

As hard as it is, try to look on the bright side. Seek out that silver lining, and really grab onto the good things in your life. It's a struggle but it'll help. Sometimes I struggle with this myself but trying is half the battle and I believe in you!
