the wording of this is really interesting to me because obviously it would be management's job to actually do the reaching out and scheduling situation but he said IF WE COULD... now I know this could be just the way he phrased it but also whenever I hear other artists talking about collabs they usually just say "I reached out" or "we reached out" but zayn straight up says "I asked my management if we could reach out." 

And when you add that to the fact that in the gq interview he was talking about not having much creative freedom, it just makes me wonder if he was giving a little insight to just how controlled he is.
