While you faked your identity, your friendship with the imposter grew stronger. They enjoyed your presence just as much as you enjoyed theirs. The others didn’t enjoy that though, feeling a tinge of jealousy towards you for getting so close to their lord (which is funny). They begin shunning you from outings with the imposter, keeping you away from them as much as possible.

Although your desperate attempts to keep your identity a secret from all the characters, some seemed to realize who was the true fake. Most went to you, encouraging you to fight off the imposter. While others wanted to kill the imposter themselves. You felt discomforted by their actions, telling them to quit it. They abide to your word, even though they still felt betrayal from the imposter, your friendship with them made it even more painful to endure.

Imposter: Good to see you again! I brought some of your favorite things.. here!

You: ohh, Thanks a lot! I picked you some flowers while i walked here!

Characters seething in the back, gritting their teeth.

Imposter: sorry about them.. are you sure you don’t wanna reveal yourself?

FILLED PLOT-HOLE

In ACTUAL self aware Genshin AU to prevent characters from finding out the truth teyvat takes the responsibility of blocking your voice when reader says something out-loud that could potentially spoil the plot.

I headcanon that childes family is very religious ( both in and out of SAGAU )

Imagine SAGAU except you're a character inside the game.

There's no cult or anything that worships the unknown being who controls and forces each and everyone of you to do things, just tired hopelessness, madness, and wish for freedom beyond the codes.

Sypnosis:

How it's like living in a SAGAU cult Teyvat without getting hunted or declared the creator.

You rest your head lazily on the counter, the rice cake soup you ordered has long been finished yet you can't find the strength to stand up and leave.

“Mr/Ms Y/n, it's time to leave.”

A familiar voice speaks but you make no effort to face her.

“5 more minutes.”

A sigh escapes from their lips as she softly runs her finger through your hair.

“Y/n, i know it's hard for you but the decree is for your own good.”

A self deprecating scoff escapes your lips as you lift your head up and look at her with defeated eyes.

“For my own good? This… stupid decree did nothing but cage me in the Tenshukaku. Doing nothing after a bunch of nothing, i feel like i'm losing my mind every second i spend there.”

You run your hands through your face, a heavy feeling descending on your body.

“Miyuki i–i don't want to go back. Can we stay here for a bit… please?”

Seeing your distress Miyuki decided to postpone your retrieval, motioning for the soldiers nearby to stand in wait.

Things haven't always been like this, life after your arrival here hasn't been good but at least it wasn't bad, at least this bad.

The existence of other people who look like you in this SAGAU world meant you didn't get hunted, instead people saw you as a blessed person given the looks of the creator.

This brought it's pros and cons but through sheer determination, luck, and pride you didn't end up like the others and actually managed to live independently by yourself.

You were proud of what you had, finally in your dull life you have managed to achieve something with your own two hands. Yes you live in a small apartment and work as a simple assistant cook of Kiminami restaurant but it was fine, the world looks more colorful and you couldn't wait to see how better things would go.

A few months ago nobody knew why but many of your look-alikes kept disappearing, never to be seen again.

This threw the world into chaos as they tried to find the culprits while more and more of them disappeared. The Raiden Shogun even declared that all people blessed with the image of the creator must be kept in the Tenshukaku to be guarded and protected.

The air is thick with constant tension at the Tenshukaku, especially for you and your buddies, some couldn't take it and dealt with themselves or fled the Tenshukaku to hide in the wilderness, never to be heard from again as far as you know.

That's why you're here today, hunched over a stool in Kiminami restaurant, desperate to experience even a hint of normalcy you once had.

You probably gave the shrine maiden assigned to you, Kuki Miyuki, a heart attack with your "escape" but you're not dumb enough to follow the others towards certain doom.

As Miyuki guided you back towards the Tenshukaku, surrounded by soldiers and curious passerbys you couldn't help but wish for the normalcy you once had.

like already anything you’ve seen taking a like to is immediately sold out, it’s pretty much a shopkeepers best dream. You’d be set for life.

I personally believe instead of your friend coming from a alternative world of genshin using their characters, they instead use your characters.

like instead of your friends character empty conscience, your friend instead controls your characters with their conscience.

(In cult au none of your characters like it, your blissful warm isn’t there, it’s just being unwilling controlled.)

(this isn’t a side note it’s just me being really excited, and wanting to share, but I just today(August 26)got yelan, and I’m just, AHHHH, I’m so happy)

Okay, SAGAU folks you do understand if Neuvillette is the hydro dragon,(I don’t think it’s been confirmed anyway, just hinted)and one of The original Seven Sovereigns at that,(vishaps also work)Neuvillette would be one of the most dedicated followers, like out ranking Zhongli, freaking Morax, one of the original seven archons!

Neuvillette would be around since some of the earliest days of Teyvat, has worshipped you since the dawn of his existence!

specifically people of power, like the archons, or fatui harbingers, get them to see just how valuable human life is, how small it is, how fragile, how venerable, how ultimately insignificant everything is.

let them see your perspective, how the people of fontaine do not have a suitable archon, a joke for an archon, how the archon has openly said she’s bored with a real court case, how the dragon serves the nation, the questionable morals, ones that could potentially end lives, how it’s destroying the environment? how sumeru is willing to give everything for knowledge, how the archon, the protector of said nation, was inslaved? just how small inazuma is compared to the rest of the world how people were held captive, slaughtered, driven mad, all for a single vision? how the archon of Liyue forsaken his own nation, put his people in danger, and did nothing? In cult SAGAU the creator is always revered as this kind caring god/goddess who can do no wrong and always has the best interest of Teyvat on their mind. (except for the some but they usually still have a few they care for)

What if, hear me out, the relationship is more similar to Ruan Mei and her creations from hsr. I mean it fits the setting, the people and creatures of Teyvat longs for their creator's warmth and they're just like "Huh, interesting *ignores them more*."

They built all these grand palaces and places of worship only for you to just gaze at them a bit and leave. It must leave them infuriated how they're doing all of these for you and you're just not even going to care.

Of course they'll all cope differently, some would lament, some would hate you, and some would do whatever they can to earn your attention and when those things eventually no longer earn your attention they'll go to more drastic things just to get even a slimmer of attention they crave.

Potential Genshin Impact Fanfic?

It's been so long since my last post but I have been active on Tumblr, like literally every day, just going around liking posts. There have been some things I've been thinking about such as making my first Genshin Impact fanfic but... the problem is that I haven't played Genshin. I've only explored the world using my friends' accounts but I don't know all the lore and quests and all the other stuff. I've basically gained most of my knowledge from fanfics on Tumblr. But I really want to create this fanfiction and I hope you guys don't mind. Hopefully, you like it and don't mind if some characters are out of character. I'm scaredddddd.
