Falsifying Identities is a Crime [Double Trouble SAGAU]
-> 《Traveler, Albedo, Zhongli, Heizou》
As your doppelgänger now twin remains stuck in their golden cage being worshipped, you travel around Tevyat to find more clues about the being known as the 'Creator'; the lore of Genshin Impact -because that's what got you playing the game in the first place-; and warding off suspicion that you're more than a mere body double for your twin.

THE TRAVELER 《VIATOR & VIATRIX》
The one you need to watch out for the most was, surprisingly, the Traveler. They were there since the beginning of the game, your first vessel as the two of you travel across Tevyat with Paimon to discover the truth of Tevyat. While the Traveler wasn't as close to the Creator as some of the acolytes; wasn't as worshipful and dogged every step of the immortal, they were very much attuned to the Creator's energy and warmth presence.
So when the Traveler felt more drawn towards the 'body double' moreso than the Creator themselves, suspicion quickly formed.
"You and the Creator share many similarities." You jolt, turning to face the Traveler as they lean against a bookcase, golden eyes narrowed at you with a wary gaze. The Traveler managed to corner you in the corners of their mansion in the Serenitea Pot, having sent Paimon to Xiangling prior for a 'commission'.
Now it was just you, them, and the book in your hands detailing Zhongli's failed attempts to hide the fact he's the Geo Archon amongst his people.
You laugh, trying to brush off the panic which was quickly settling in your mind. "I was created in their image, the fact that we are similar in both looks and nature should be logical enough," You excused.
The Traveler let out an indifferent hum, "That is true, the both of you do have your differences though."
You nod, "Of course, the Creator once told me that having some differences would be good for the both of us. They said something about 'growing' and 'independance', but it was said so cryptically that I didn't quite understand." That's a complete lie, but the Traveler doesn't need to know that. "It's kind of like you and your sibling, Lumine/Aether. Although the both of you are similar in looks and nature, you are two different people in the end, right?"
The Traveler gave a nod, smiling in understanding, "I see where you're getting at. I do have one last question however."
They took one step closer, eyes shinning a predatory gleam as the articial sunlight bounced through the window.
"The Creator themselves didn't know the name of my sibling, so how did you know?"
Later on, as your twin tended to the forming bruise on your forehead, you confessed throwing a book at the Traveler as a distraction and ran- only to slam headfirst into a wall in the midst of your panic.
If the Traveler was more attentive to your presence the next day and after, it went completely unnoticed as your twin blew up the kitchen as a distraction.

ALBEDO 《PRINCEPS CRETACEUS》
The second person who might deconstruct the story you and your doppelgänger created piece by piece and drag the truth to the light. As a homonculus himself and the lore regarding Durin and Rhinedottir which you are aware of, this man would be wary of you right from the start as 'someone made of the Creator's flesh and blood'.
If it weren't the fact you were announced to the acolytes as 'The Creator's Darling Twin/Body Double But We Don't Talk About That', you would've been kidnapped and experimented on.
... thinking back on it, wouldn't it be easier to have Albedo as an accomplice from the start so they could have some sort of alchemy excuse?
For the past few days you had a stalker as you traveled through lnazuma. The person had skillfully hid their presence, disappearing before you could notice them and convicing any witnesses that the two of you were well-acquainted and playing a demented game of Red Light Green Light.
Unfortunately for your stalker, the Inazuman gossip mill about a young man painting hillichurls in the wild managed to reach your ears.
You could've confess the entire situation to your twin, of course, but they were too busy reining in their darling acolytes that the two of you had less time to spent together. (You won't deny the fact you'd also been avoiding Traveler and Paimon, their all-knowing eyes could mean a slip of a tongue and ruin everything you two were working towards.)
After a couple of days, you decided to handle the problem by yourselves. This meant cornering and interrogating your stalker head-on.
"Why are you following me?" Albedo's inquisitive eyes seem to tear you apart layer by layer. There was no witness to you pointing a sword at the Mondstadt Alchemist in the middle of the field except the beaten up hilichurls.
"The Creator assigned me to guard you." He finally answered. The smooth, dulcet voice had you nearly captivated as he pinned you down with a sharp gaze, "It's a mere matter of safety, especially for you."
"If it were a matter of safety, my Creator would've told me from the start instead of hiding it from me." You countered, "What's more, why would they assign you, the Chief Alchemist and Investigation Captain of Mondstadt, of all people as my bodyguard?"
The monotoned expression on his face lightened up, revealing a cunning smirk that disappeared as quick as it had appeared, "You are well-informed."
"The Creator might have informed you about my history, as a fellow synthetic human I would like to exchange notes about the process."
"... excuse me?" Process? Does he mean the lore about how Gold created the homonculus?
You blink, putting on an apologetic grin as you bowed to him, "Apologies, I am unaware of the process myself. Perhaps you can ask my Creator when you have the chance, they're more knowledgeable about Rhinedottir's research regarding the Primordial Human Project than I am."
"... I see, I would like to have more enlightening conversations with you in the near future. You're quite an interesting converser."

ZHONGLI 《LAPIS DEI》
As the oldest of the Archons, he has followed and worshipped the Creator of Tevyat as long as he could remember. He was knowledgeable about the history of the Creator, their passions and their faults, their dreams that lie beyond Celestia's reach, and so much more.
With the appearance of his Creator's 'body double', however, he starts to question if he truly knew his darling immortal.
It was a mistake. A stupid, foolish mistake that not even a monkey with zero common sense would commit. You could've walked off the second he approached you with that cheery grin; the second he opened his mouth and sprouted about 'bonding' and 'getting to know each other'.
But the Anemo Archon was as charming as he appeared in-game, and so you were dragged into a drinking contest with Venti at Angel's Share.
Now, you sat with a massive hangover but petty pride over your win against Venti and patiently waited for Zhongli's tea to finish brewing. You assumed Mihoyo had overestimated the time taken for Zhongli's tea, but looking at the ticking clock for the past two hours you knew better.
"... may I assume the reason you pulled me aside for your hangover tea was not for the sake of niceties?"
Zhongli paused, you realised that angering the oldest Archon was a huge mistake before he spoke, "I would like to make a contract with you."
You blinked, spots appearing briefly in your vision, "Contract? What for?"
The immortal took a seat facing you, cat-eyes holding a dangerous gleam as though he would tear you apart at any moment, "To ensure the safety of the Creator and your chances of being a traitor of Tevyat null."
You shrugged, "Ok, can I have time to read through it and ask Yanfei for a second opinion?"
Zhongli blinked, likely surprised at your admission, before he pulled out a ready-made contract, "I had assumed you would be more offended at my words."
"Your concern for the Creator is valid. Plus, as the Yanwang Dijun of Liyue and the God of Contracts, I trust you would not trick me so easily." You answered as you skimmed over the contract, missing the wide-eyed look the Archon had given you.
You noticed something in particular and blinked, "Can I ask for clarification on the Time of Performance Clause 1 (b)?"
"Of course." Zhongli hummed, leaning forward.
"It says here that 'I must cease all contact with the Creator for at least 11 months every year to perform my duties as an international ambassador'. Can you remove it in case the Creator requires my assistance or an emergency happens, I need to be there as the Creator's body double."
You must be hallucinating the bashful look the Geo Archon had as he took back the contract, "Apologies, that one was a spur of a moment decision."

HEIZOU 《CERVUS MINOR》
Ranking second after Albedo who would see past your lies with a quick and simple deduction, the detective is a terrifying foe to have if you're trying desperately to keep a secret. You, however, were in his sight the moment your doppelgänger introduced you as their body double- a fascinating mystery his darling Creator had practically gift-wrapped for him to solve.
He knows all your little habits from playing the game down to every last detail: which acolyte you favoured the most, your favourite meal to cook, which nation's stories you enjoy the most based on your adventures... be careful to not slip up or you'll end up in his handcuffs.
Inazuma was a truly dangerous place. Asides from the murderous lightning trees and lightning water which you fell prey to multiple times while adventuring, the Inazuman acolytes were a different breed of terrifying all together.
Currently, you were hog-tied to a chair in the middle of the woods by the one person you were told to avoid at all costs. Granted, you had been ambushed and drugged the second you pass by the Tenryou Commission headquarters but you didn't think anyone would try to kidnap you in broad daylight.
"Your attempts to hide from me were truly impressive, especially the time you jumped out of the window of a second floor building." Heizou purred, a playful smirk on his face as he stalked in front of you, "Man alive, our little game must come to an end, unfortunately, as I am on a tight deadline."
I really hope someone reports me being kidnapped, you mourned. Unfortunately, judging the fact none of those Tenryou soliders stepped in when Heizou kidnapped you, your chances of rescue were null.
Your head hit the back of the chair as Heizou continued to stare at you like an unsolved murder case, mind drifting back to your doppelgänger's words a few weeks back before your departure to Inazuma.
"I don't know how he interpreted my words, but avoid Shikanoin Heizou at all costs." Your doppelgänger warned, bright eyes darkened as though they were haunted by certain memories, "That detective... has a particularly annoying habit of 'investigating' everything about me no matter what."
"The Creator surprised all of us when you were first introduced." Heizou began, "The flimsy excuse they gave about your 'birth' wasn't a complete lie, but it wasn't the complete truth either."
Heizou stepped closer, his stormy grey eyes were unreadable and utterly terrifying the longer you stared, "How much do you know about the Creator?"
You blinked, "Huh?"
"How much do you know about the Creator?" The detective repeated, a sickly sweet smile on his face, "As their 'body double', you're privy to many of their secrets and habits which remain hidden from even the most trusted acolytes: their favourite meal; their favourite perfume and outfits; the acolyte they dote most upon; their sleeping habits and favourite position to sleep in which I wasn't quite able to figure out after I got caught-"
"Hold on, you spied on the Creator when they were sleeping?" You were absolutely horrified.
Heizou blinked out of his trance, giving you a confuse look, "Yeah? The Creator is most vulnerable in their sleep, as a detective it's my job to protect the Creator from any criminals who dare to disturb their rest."
He calmly puts a hand on his chin, "I wasn't the only one, that adeptus Liyuen who keeps stalking the rooftop has been caught multiple times now."
You stared, "... you really do have sensitive emotions for people you think shine the brightest."
Heizou paused, staring at you unblinkingly before he shoots you a smile so innocent, so bright, that is sent shivers down your spine.
"Interesting~ it'll be so much fun uncovering each and every one of your secrets~"

Doppelgänger: I heard you won a bet against Venti in a drinking contest, s p i l l
You: If he won, I had to leave you and sleep for a hundred years with a spell he's creating. If I won, he would help out at Angel's Share in a maid outfit to pay off his debt
Doppelgänger: ... is it a french maid outfit?
You: absolutely who do you think I am
Traveler: I don't know either of you
Hi there! I love your mommy Signora post, but ofc I love all the mommy fics hehe💕

I headcannon that maybe Signora can bring them around the palace and feed them Snezhnayan food? Maybe find out they have a fav and would have some as back up in case.
And maybe little creator would be angry at anyone who talks bad about her fire moth mama?
Keep note that you don't have to do this if you're too busy okay? Stay hydrated and rest well💕
hi im sad rn so i have to project apologies for making you hurt in advance <3
Child of Fire, Raised in Ice
warnings: fluff with an angst ending, sagau, a child (that is ten but turns 11-12 throughout this) is considered god, mild blood, death
6,115 words
There was no separating you and your mama. Ever since the day she had found you in the snow, held you with such tenderness. Despite being considered a "big kid", you still imprinted onto her like you were a young child. Growing by her side, soon enough in your pre-teen years.
Still, you stuck by her side. No matter how old you got.
This was a side of Teyvat you had never dreamed of seeing. Each of the harbingers, in all their horror and glory, and a new ideal against the gods. Signora, who you thought was so bad and evil, was now your hero.
Was this brainwashing? Were you too young and naïve to understand fully what was happening? Maybe, but it didn't matter. All that mattered was that you were safe. Signora was safe.
All the harbingers found it odd, Signora's behavior. How she didn't ask for anything from you in return, and yet your young mind already had an understand of give and take - of goods and services - was eager to please her.
"I can help!" "Do you need me to help?" A smaller hand holding onto her coat, you were basically her shadow. But you were desperate to be helpful.
Signora was scared to let you go alone, despite your exalted status, there were those that would hurt you to spite her, and those with a hatred for gods that extended beyond reason. Despite her insistence she had no earthly attachments to you - that this was merely business - she would never be able to forgive herself if something happened to you.
But she wouldn't be by your side forever. So slowly but surely, she helped you grow. To no longer rely so heavily on her.
Running errands to Childe first, who always had a soft spot for kids. He became your friend quickly, your brother. A familiar and friendly face to go to when you didn't have Signora. Next was Arlecchino, brash and sadistic, but had a calm façade. You grew close with her at a slower rate, but eventually caught yourself growing fonder of her. Asking to visit the orphanage, making care packages for the kids, playing with those your own age.
Signora watched you grow physically and mentally with a fond smile. One that no one had seen in centuries.
You became quite famous in the Zapolyarny palace quite quickly. Going from being always a step behind Signora, to always a step ahead of her. Sometimes even running ahead to greet someone you knew - such as flinging yourself into Capitano who merely gently patted your head. Or excitedly shouting something to Pierro, always eager to see his nod of approval when you've done something worthy. You'd always seen Signora give reports to him, so you attempted to keep your conversations the same as that. You failed miserably, but it was funny to see you talk so formally and informally at the same time and tacking "sir" onto the end of all of your sentences. Until one day he finally caved and told you to just call him Pierro.
Despite your image of Signora changing drastically from what you used to think of her, Dottore never really changed in your mind. His smile freaked you out, almost like if you got too close he'd snatch you up and tear you apart. Like the magic tricks you'd see of people being torn apart, but you didn't think he'd be able to - or want - to fix you.
You thought your wariness was warranted. Which caught the attention of The Damsel.
Oddly, you were never afraid of Pierro. He reminded you of the nice old men that were from your old home, and despite everything, when you got close to him, he smelled like one of your male family members. He reminded you of home.
However The Damsel was the opposite. She smelled of nothing but the ice cold tundra, she appeared sickly, weak, but her voice was powerful.
Her first words to you were, "You think the Doctor is so frightening? What has he done to you so far?"
You couldn't see her eyes, but her voice sounded as though she was awaiting a grand story, an utterly horrid story, like she wanted to tear you apart and see the deepest and darkest parts of you.
"He-he's scary looking," You pouted, distressed.
A dainty giggle danced in the air, and the sound made you relaxed against your better judgement.
"Am I scary looking?" She leaned down a bit, the height difference not being that much, but it felt like she was towering over you.
You blinked, throat tightening and mouth flapping open and closed. You felt Signora's hand touch your upper arm before the words tumbled out of your mouth, "A wendigo." You realized what you just said and fumbled to fix your mistake, "A pretty wendigo! Wait-! Uh-!"
Even Signora snickered at the comment. The Damsel giggled, "Perhaps you're not far off from the mark. Call me Columbina. A child of Signora's is a child I shall protect."
Suddenly, Dottore didn't seem as scary anymore.
You were slowly but surely becoming more and more independent as the months passed, almost seeming like you were a mini-harbinger with how often you hung around them. Everyone was still aware of your "godhood" but that was overshadowed with over half a year of you being at the palace. Over half a year after Signora had saved you.
"Fair Lady, your grace." One of Signora's personal servants entered Signora's study, where the two of you were sorting through important paperwork and writing reports to officials, townsfolk, and the Tsartisa herself.
Signora nodded for her to speak.
"The Tsaritsa has requested their grace's presence."
Those words sent a shiver up your spine, you glanced nervously at Signora but her face was completely neutral.
"Thank you, we'll be on our way immediately." Signora stood from her chair and the servant scurried off.
"Signora-"
"You'll be okay." Her smile was so uncharacteristically warm. A smile that melted away the snow, a smile that saved you when you were dying in the cold.
You opened your mouth to say something doubtful, to argue or protest, but you didn't, "...okay..."
She grabbed your hand in hers, and it was warm, and she led you to the Tsaritsa. To the heart of the palace, a place you had never been.
Signora had told you a handful of times that the Tsarist was aware of your presence in the palace and condoned it. That when you had passed out in her arms after she had saved you, the Tsaritsa herself had made sure you had healed at your bedside.
You didn't ask why, throat closed up and mouth dry. You never questioned why. Signora was safe, she'd tell you all you needed to know, and what you didn't need to know... was fine by you.
"Here," Signora slipped her hand out of yours, pushing you forwards towards a staggeringly tall door, "I will be right here-"
"Why can't you come with me?" You looked up at her with wide fearful eyes, barely managing a shaky breath in and out.
Signora's eyes softened, a sight you and one other lost to the snow has seen, her hand on your shoulder tightened and she lowered herself to your level, "The Tsaritsa has not requested me, remember we are living in her palace, in her land. She would never put you in danger, and neither would I." She cupped your face and lifted your wandering eyes to hers, "You believe me, right?"
You swallowed the lump in your throat and nodded.
She patted your cheek, "Good." A rare moment of fondness, she pressed her lips to your forehead softly, "Now go, don't keep her Majesty waiting too long."
You nodded, Signora's gentle and warm touch leaving your form. The cold surrounded you as you pressed your palm to the handle of the door. The cold spread throughout your veins, freezing your lungs and heart.
You used all your might to push the heavy door open, squeezing past it. It shut with a thud behind you.
You kept your eyes on the ground, barely wandering to fully take in the room.
You could feel her Majesty's presence, but you'd never formally met her before. How were you supposed to greet her? Were you supposed to greet her? What titles should you use? She was far scarier than any of the harbingers, you couldn't tell if your limbs were shaking from the cold or pure fear.
"Raise your head, child." A deep, baritone voice came from the throne, jostling you out of your frozen state.
You followed her command immediately, raising your head to meet her eyes- were covered. Her eyes were covered.
Her height was staggering as well, she must've towered over everyone in the palace including the harbingers. Her throne was completely made out of ice too, everything in the room as well. If you weren't careful, you'd slip and fall.
On her stoic face, the ghost of a smile played at her lips.
She stood from her throne, a grand and intricate dress falling gracefully behind her as she made her for you.
You could feel each step in your chest, the dread building up. You bit your tongue to stop tears from welling in your eyes.
She gracefully swooped into a kneel and grabbed your hand with surprising gentleness. Her hand, despite bearing a glove, was ice cold and pulsated with power.
It made you dizzy, the pure cryo energy in one human body and the power of three gnosis in her possession.
"It's an honor to formally meet you, your grace." Her deep voice reverberated in your head.
You stumbled on your words, "Y-y-y-you too your majesty." You squeaked.
She chuckled, "No need to be so formal, you've lived in my palace for quite some time now, haven't you. I know you well."
"You've been... watching..?" The question slowly died on your throat as you realized the absurdity of it. You were in her palace, her home territory. Of course she'd be watching you.
"I have. Everything that goes on in my home I am aware of. Not only in the palace, but in the whole of Snezhnaya." She answered with a smile, one that seemed oddly sinister, "There are many things I wish to tell you, many questions I believe you have. Those will all be answered in due time, you are still far too young for all of these dealings." Her hand slipped away from yours and you felt the blood flow resume - you hadn't even noticed it had slowed.
"First," An intricate box materialized itself in her hand, the same way the Traveler's weapon would appear and disappear on command, "I want you to know, your grace, that these are yours." She opened the box and you gasped, nearly tripping on the ice in your shock, "I have gathered two of the other archons' gnosis as well as my own, and soon to be all seven, all to give to you. I understand that this must be overwhelming which is why I don't expect you to accept or take them." Her smile grew and you swore you saw fangs peak out, "I merely want you to know that these are here for you, all you must do is call for them and they shall be yours."
"Why-?" You choked out, shock grasping at your throat, "You've worked so hard-"
"That is something that you must find out on your own." She closed the box, her smile ever present, "Snezhnaya has no room for tears and childhood, you've had to grow up faster than you could've ever imagined. I will give you some more time, but when you feel that spark of childhood extinguish, come to me."
"H-h-" The world spun, "H-How will I know?"
"You just will." The box disappeared from her hands, and in the same place Signora had left a warm and gentle kiss on your forehead, The Tsaritsa had done the same, chasing away whatever warmth lay on or underneath your skin. "Goodbye, child, it was wonderful meeting you."
You nodded, "You as well."
You scurried out the door, and just as she had promised; Signora was there.
Signora noticed the difference your meeting with the Tsaritsa had made immediately. You were shaken, your eyes had the beginnings of the frozen tundra in them.
Signora knew she wouldn't be able to preserve the warmth of your innocence and childhood forever, and it seems the threads of the Tsaritsa's grand plan were making themselves seen.
However, you still melted into her touch, smiling so widely when you saw her. Even with your ever-growing independence, you made sure to always stick next to her. You were never out of her sight, and that childish smile still remained when you saw her, or Childe, or Capitano, Pulcinella, Pierro, even Arlecchino, Columbina and Dottore got to see your childish smile. You were happy, and that was all Signora could ask for.
"Signora! Signora!" Your childish voice resounded through the halls.
"Yes, yes I'm right here dear, what is it?"
"Look!" You held out your hands to her, they were cupped together and on top of them rested a pyro moth.
Signora's eyes widened in shock, "Where did this come from?" There was no way you'd know these belonged to her, she had only ever used her cryo powers around you. Except-
"I don't know! It just kinda showed up, I think it likes me!" You smiled ear-to-ear, "It kinda reminds me of you, it's the same warmth I felt when you found me, you know?"
Signora hummed, her gloved hand coming up to lightly touch the wing of the moth, "I see." She smiled warmly, "Well, since it likes you so much, make sure to take good care of it."
You nodded enthusiastically.
Signora seemed to have been unaware of how close she had gotten to you. She knew her moth only had one objective: to watch over you.
Perhaps it was a good thing.
-
"What do you mean?!" You screeched, the moth that had shown up just a few days before fluttering distressed at your shoulder, "You're going away?" You whined, clutching onto her dress, "Why are you just telling me-?"
"(Y/n)." You froze at the use of your name, "You are still aware of the fact that I am a harbinger, this was going to happen eventually, I have a duty to the Tsaritsa and Snezhnaya. I must go, you know this. Everything has been set up, all that's left is for me to grab the gnosis and come right back. You understand."
It wasn't a question, and it wasn't a statement you would argue. You nodded miserably, stray tears falling down your cheeks.
Signora sighed, "Please don't cry." Her hands cupped your face and wiped away the fallen tears, "The other Fatui have taken care of most of the work, it will be quick and I'll come right back. You can be a big kid for a month can't you?" She smiled encouragingly
You sniffled and nodded, "I- I think so."
"Good, thank you, (Y/n). And if you don't think you can be a big kid there's always Childe and Columbina and the other harbingers." Signora smiled, "You can visit the orphanage with Arlecchino, do whatever you want. So long as you stay safe and keep Little Ayin with you. Understand?"
"Yes Signora!" You saluted like one of the Fatui underlings, Little Ayin fluttering encouragingly around you.
"Good!" She patted your head, "Now come on, you can follow me to the boat but you can't come with me."
You grinned, holding her hand and leading the way to the front doors of the palace, "Don't worry! One day I'll become a harbinger and be able to come with you to all of your missions!"
"Really? Will you be the 12th harbinger?" Signora asked ammused.
"Nope! I'll be first!"
"And what of Pierro?"
"He'll be retired. He already has back problems."
Signora snorted, "Don't be saying things like that so boldly, you might make an enemy of Pierro." She ruffled your hair playfully.
It didn't take long enough to reach the boat. You squeezed her hand, almost silently begging her to not go.
"I'll see you soon, (Y/n)." Signora smiled.
You flung yourself into her arms, "See you soon!" You pulled back with a grin, barely managing to hold back the tears.
Signora softly smiled, grasping your hands in hers. You felt her place a solid and cold object in your hands. She closed your hands together and patted them, "I'll be back in a month. Make sure not to cause the others too much grief."
You grinned, "No promises!"
She nodded and pulled away, you stopped yourself from chasing her warmth. She boarded the ship and you watched as they prepared for travel. You stood there the entire time as they prepared to leave, and then followed the boat as far as you could until they were too far at sea. Not for a second did you stop waving at Signora until the boat was out of view. Your hand fell to your side slowly but definitively.
"(Y/n)."
You swallowed down the tears and turned to grin at Arlecchino, "Yes. We should go home."
Arlecchino nodded, walking beside you.
You kept your hand next to Little Ayin, the other grasping whatever item Signora had entrusted to you.
"You look miserable." Arlecchino commented, "Come with me to the orphanage, it's been a while since your last visit."
You glanced up at her, and nodded, smiling softly, "Sure. Just- once we get there do you think I could have a moment to myself?"
Arlecchino gave you an undecipherable look, "Of course, (Y/n)."
Once at the orphanage, all the kids who you had grown close to over the past year swarmed you.
But just as she had promised, you were allowed a moment to yourself alone.
You took the item from your pocket and inspected it.
It was a locket. You stared at it, dumbfounded, your confusion doubling at the clearly Mondstadt design of the locket.
You opened the locket and a folded piece of paper fell out. However the picture in the locket was... Signora? And a man?
"Who..." You diverted your attention to the small piece of paper, unfolding it to read the message, "Dear (Y/n), I'm sorry for never having the strength to explain to you in person. Ask Pierro about the locket. I shall tell you more once I am back. -Signora"
You stared dumbfounded at the piece of paper and locket you now had in your hands. Was this even Signora? Maybe it was a family member of hers? But why would she give this to you-?
"(Y/n)?" There was a knock on the door, "The children are getting impatient."
"Oops! Coming!" You turned around and rushed through the door, past Arlecchino.
Immediately a genuine smile tugged at your lips as you spend the day at the orphanage, with those you could almost call your family.
-
You couldn't sleep in the orphanage. You and the kids had played for hours on end, a distraction from Signora's absence. However you refused to sleep there. No matter how inconvenient or spoiled and bratty you sounded.
Thankfully, after some pushing, Arlecchino relented and took you back to the palace even though it was well after midnight.
Being in an orphanage and staying there after Signora had left... you couldn't do it. Not after you had been ripped away from your other family.
"You know, I'm starting to really hate agreeing to babysitting duty." Arlecchino huffed, grimacing.
You snickered, "Did Signora ask you to babysit me?"
She sighed, "Not explicitly, but she did enough passive aggressive hints for me to get the message."
You giggled at the mental image, "Well you won't have to worry about me tomorrow, I have plans in mind to bother another Fatui member." You grinned sadistically, a grin you've seen on Arlecchino before.
"May the Tsaritsa help their soul then."
-
You hunted down Pierro as quickly as you could the next day, following him around like a lost duck.
"Is there something you need?" He asked gruffly.
"Yes, but it'd take up a lot of your time."
He sighed, "Is it important?"
"Yes." You stared up at him with wide, child-like, yet gravely serious eyes.
His visible eye searched yours for a moment, as if noticing something that wasn't there before. Maybe there was.
Pierro nodded, "Alright then, come with me."
He turned and briskly walked towards his office, you scurried after him, gently holding onto his coat so you could keep up with him.
The locket and note were held in your pocket, and Little Ayin was snuggled against your neck comfortably. Signora was still, in a way, with you. She'd come back in a month, and you'd be here waiting for her. You'd be able to ask all the questions you want about the locket and the couple in it.
He opened the door to his office and held the door open to allow you inside, "Go ahead and have a seat." He shut the door and sat opposite of you. With a rough sigh, he said, "So, what is it that you need to tell me?"
You pulled the note and locket out of your pocket, laying it on the table in front of you.
"Signora gave this to me before she had left." You looked up at him, searching his expression.
For a moment, confusion and shock made his eyebrows furrow, before they became neutral. Almost as though he had expected this.
"I see." She gently grabbed the note and read it, nodding to himself.
Opening the locket, he turned it so it faced you, the couple staring at you. The woman's smile one you had seen before.
"This was 500 years ago. The woman is Signora, and the man beside her was her husband, Rostam."
"Husband?" You sputtered, Little Ayin resting on your shoulder solemnly, "She has... why did she never tell me?"
"Because he is no longer with us." Pierro said, his eyes meeting your steadily, like he was telling a story that had already been finished. "He was once a Knight of Favonius, and after the calamity of Khaenri’ah the Knights were tasked with purging the monsters that had emerged. Here, Rostam had died. Signora had been at the Akademiya in Sumeru studying while he had died, and when she returned to find him dead she went insane. Swearing to burn away the world and cleanse it."
You remained silent, staring at the picture of such a happy couple. Unsure of what you should be feeling.
"I believe," He said carefully, but retaining all the power in his voice, "That she hesitated on telling you because of how much it hurt her. I never expected her to tell you at all." His hand gently came up to pat the top of your head, and you didn't realize all the tears that were falling onto your lap. "Rostam was Signora's family. The only one she had. I believe she sees you the same way now."
You screwed your eyes shut and curled in on yourself, sobbing into your hands.
"I-I want her back!" You wailed, "I don't- don't want her leaving." You hiccupped, "I miss my old family, she's-she's all I have."
"She'll return." Pierro said so assuredly that you couldn't help but believe him, "You must have faith in her. She's captured two gnosis successfully. She will return with one more. Trust me when I say this is just as painful for her as it is you."
You nodded, sniffling. Reminding yourself over and over that she would return.
-
The first night on the ship, Signora had cried. She cried like she had just lost someone, cried like her first night in the Akademiya. Like she was alone for the first time in a long time.
It was the longest and hardest month she'd had in centuries. It was foolish - stupid of her to get so close to you. She feared that history had a habit of repeating itself, and she was petrified for the latter half of her history repeating.
But you were in the Zapolyarny Palace, under the protection of the Tsaritsa and the harbingers. T here was no way you would be hurt while under Her Majesty's care.
But her subordinates could see her stress, how she was snappier and any semblance of leniency she had shown in their homeland had evaporated. She chalked it up to this being an important mission, the most important one since last year when she and Childe obtained the Geo Gnosis. Of course, any leniency allowed by her could put the whole mission in jeopardy.
She'd get this mission finished with soon. At this point all that was left was to take the damn thing and go home.
-
"Filthy rats... all of you!"
She was desperate, insane, a witch.
All the heartbreak she went through after she lost Rostam, the pain and fear you felt when you awoke in this world to never see your family again, you would not feel it again. She had to go back to Snezhnaya, she had to go back to you-!
In the end, she did make it back to Snezhnaya. In a casket.
-
"Pierro! Pierro! She's here! She's here!" You squealed, bounding out of the palace.
"(Y/n)..." You were too excited to notice his odd tone, "Slow down."
From the day he had told you of Signora's past, you kept the locket around your neck. Even if you never knew Rostam, if he made Signora happy then he had your approval.
"Come on, Little Ayin! Why are you so slow?" You gently but hurriedly scooped the strangely forlorn fire moth into your hands. "I thought you'd be more excited for Signora's return." You giggled, running through the snow even before the sun had begun to rise, Pierro following slowly behind.
You waited at the dock, "How long will it take for them to be here?" You questioned Pierro, staring up at him with wide and excited eyes.
Pierro watched the child-like nature flutter with hope in your eyes. He sighed, "The report said they'd be here by sunrise."
"How long until sunrise?" You bounced on your tippy-toes, stretching your neck to see as far out into the ocean as you could.
"Far too long, child, it's 3 in the morning." He patted your shoulder hardily, "And you've been up since midnight."
"I just can't wait!" You grinned.
Oh how Pierro was dreading the morning sun.
-
Quite a few Fatui were gathered around the docks, and of course, you were the first to spot the boat carrying Signora.
"There! That's her! That's her!" You screeched, pointing at the boat.
But no one cheered.
You didn't think to question it, Pierro having to hold you back from sprinting up the plank laid down from the boat to the dock.
You saw ginger hair and a red scarf at the top of the plank.
"Childe? What's he-?"
You felt your heart drop to your feet and then somehow tumbling even further away from your grasp. Your stomach churned and twisted. You wanted to throw up and cry out your insides.
Childe didn't smile at you when his eyes met you, as he led a group of people carrying a human-sized box off of the ship.
You broke away from Pierro's grasp, hitting his hand away from you when he reached for you.
"(Y/n)-!" He barked after you sternly.
"Childe!" You crashed into his front, holding onto the front of his shirt even though he towered above you, "Where is she?"
His eyes somehow managed to look even more dead, hope chased away long ago.
Fear grappled your heart, stopping it's beating entirely. You shook him, your voice raising dangerously, "Where is she Tartaglia!"
He shakily inhaled, pity in his dark blue orbs, an ocean swallowing you in the beginnings of grief. He closed his eyes and turned his head to look at the box that was being carried by six Fatui.
"There."
"..."
There was silence, quieter than the deathly snow at night, waiting for its next victim. Your limbs and organs stopped working, halting their movements to stare at the box.
"Stop lying." You whispered.
"I'm not-"
"She's not!" You choked, shaking Tartaglia desperately, "You're lying!"
"(Y/n)." A firm hand gripped your shoulder, Pierro softly yet firmly said, "Please-"
"Did you know?!" You whipped around to face him, eyes wide and pupils pinpricks, breathing erratic - angry - and tears falling furious from your eyes.
"... yes. We got a report-"
"Why didn't you tell me!" You screeched, pushing him away from you and backing away, your hands clenched as fists at your side.
Pierro lowered his hand with a frown, "Because we knew you wouldn't believe us and that you'd react like this."
"She's not- she can't be- she's still in Inazuma you just left her behind. You- you-" You choked on your words and sobs, crying into your sleeves.
You clutched Little Ayin to your chest, its warmth the only comfort.
Without even realizing it, you were running, your name being shouted from behind you before stopping. But you kept running. And running.
And running.
-
You were once again lost in the tundra, snow billowing past. Except now you were accustomed to it, and attuned to the world in a way you nor anyone else could begin to imagine.
However one thing remained the same. You had lost your home. Your family. Once again, it had happened.
You fell into the snow, curling into a pathetic, sobbing ball. Crying into your arms and knees and hands until you couldn't feel your body. Everything was numb, even your heart and mind.
There was no point, no reason, no rhyme or love or life.
You wailed into the snow, into the tundra and wild of Snezhnaya. You screamed and cried like a wounded animal, begging and screaming for someone to bring Signora back. To bring your family back.
Your prayers were only slightly listened to. A warmth floated by your ear and you jerked away. You were laying on your stomach, face numb in the snow, until Little Ayin encouraged you to roll onto your back as it laid on your chest. Right where your heart was beating erratically.
It brought warmth throughout your chest and your raised your hands to gently hold it. Your wails and sobs turning into pitiful sniffles and whimpers. It was as though a limb had been torn off you and you were desperately trying to convince yourself you could reattach it. That you'd still have it good as new.
That Signora would come back. She'd come back she promised she promised, they all promised, she'll come back one day.
You gulped in breathes of cold air, stabilizing yourself in the warmth you pretended was Signora's hand. When suddenly the temperature dropped even more. Your tears turned into icicles after they fell, your entire body numb.
You didn't even move your eyes when you saw a pair of hands come up to wipe at your face. When they moved away, you saw tear and blood stains.
"Dear, you've certainly made quite a mess of yourself." It was the deep baritone of Her Majesty, yet despite that you couldn't bring yourself to care. Your heart didn't jump in recognition and neither did your eyes widen. You lay there motionless.
"Come, it is far too harsh out here for a wounded heart." She easily picked your limp body up, Ayin still laying against your chest, its pulsating warmth weaker than ever.
-
The Tsaritsa noticed a pattern within her kingdom. The cycle of love repeating endlessly, so everlasting even the Raiden Shogun would be envious.
How cruel this cycle was to her subjects and even the ruler of them all. To allow attachments to grow and fester and wrap thorns and roots in one's heart only to have them brutally torn out. Leaving you with nothing but scars.
Right now you were a bleeding wound, not even the most adept and knowledgeable would be able to know how to help you.
Not even the Tsaritsa, who had seen and experienced this pattern countless times, did not know the solution.
But she knew different outcomes. She merely awaited to see which one you would set down.
-
The day of Signora's official funeral you were much quieter. The harbingers gathered around her cold casket. You had grieved alone with her corpse some days earlier, pretending her hand was grasping your own and she was hugging you closely to her chest. That you were missing your old family as she comforted you, back when you were younger and more of a crybaby.
That she'd allow you to be weak again, to be a crybaby again and weep for what you missed.
She had never responded to your questions about her and Rostam.
Her cold casket didn't burn bright red like Little Ayin. It was white in the white snow and ice. Columbina sang with a smile, the other harbingers bickering. Your hand rested against her coffin.
The creeps of the Tsaritsa's power made themselves known, frost creeping their way through the building. You comforted the cold metal of the coffin the same way her hand comforted you. Perhaps you could pretend that somewhere, somehow, she could feel it.
Little Ayin fluttered away from you, landing on the fallen pawn on the chessboard.
"We are gathered here today to remember our dear comrade..."
The words from Pulcinella's mouth made you sick. Your teeth grit in anger.
The traveler had defeated The Fair Lady in a duel before the throne. Childe's words were engraved into your very mind, anger burning through your veins. It was customary for her to be executed after their fight by the shogun.
The harbinger's heartless and stupid words made it worse, your gaze flickering between them like a caged animal ready to strike. You tapped your finger against the coffin, willing yourself to believe it was empty.
"It's time to end tonight's foolish theatrics." Pierro stepped out of the shadows, the frost spreading across the floor away from you, "Right now you have no captive audience."
You unclenched your fist and stood straighter as the harbingers gathered around her. Blood dribbled from your palm where you had cut them with your nails.
Little Ayin rested on her coffin, and it burned away. Your last source of her warmth gone. You had to bite your tongue to keep from crying or yelling.
Pierro's every word hung in the air like the ending of an act to a play. And at the end of the act, the entire building was encased in ice. Never to be disturbed again, Signora would rest in absolute peace.
"As was Her Majesty's benevolence."
But it wasn't until after you had returned to the palace, with a demand to meet with Her Majesty, when you realized she was no where near the vacinity.
The Tsaritsa hadn't frozen Signora's burial site. You had.
"Your Majesty." You faced her, head lifted to meet her eyes.
"Yes, your grace?" She responded with a wicked grin.
"I am no longer a child." Your eyes resembled her eleventh harbinger, Hell having greeted you firsthand, "My birth mother and family cruelly torn away from me, and my mother from this world now dead. My childhood is dead and I wish to accept the gnosis."
Your eyes, wide with youth, were steadfast and set in determination and - the Tsaritsa amusedly noticed - rage.
She grinned, fangs peaking from behind her lips, "Then... I am sorry...to also have you shoulder the grievances of the world. Since you could endure my bitter cold, you must have the desire to burn? Then, burn away the old world for me. That is all I ask of you. Surely you can fulfill it."
The box materialized in her hands and you reached to take it.
"I will burn away the old world." You said through gritted teeth, your knuckles turning white from your grip on the gnosis, "I will cleanse this world, and I will kill the traveler."
The Tsaritsa nodded, her smile never faltering, "Then welcome to the Fatui, your grace. I know you shall become a wonderful ruler for the new world, and a vengeful soldier for your lost mother."
The patterns that love followed truly were amusing.
I didn’t expect to be waken up by a lightning strike next to me.

Waking up in the middle of the storms are not one of the thing in your list of life that you expected to happen. Like, getting a spouse that is nice and caring? Yes. Waking up in the middle of nowhere in a fucking storm?? Nope.
Yeah, You’re sure you didn’t register to anything that has anything to do in trying to survive in the unknown.
Maybe God was playing with you in your dreams?? Maybe that’s what happened. Maybe you can continue to sleep.
A lightning lands beside you
or not.
Groggily (and fearfuly), you opened your eyes, tries to get away far from there and clear your head from the ringing of the lightning. It’s not the best ringtone for an alarm if you ever set one, to be honest. Looking around, you realized that the wilderness around you is kinda familiar looking. A sweet flower? Three lavender melons in the ground? Kaburagis in the distance training despite one of their teammate get hit by the lightning and continue to stand like nothing has happened?
Oh you know where this is.
Or what you assumed this place must be.
Genshin Fucking Impact.
Are anyone has the contact to celestia right now? Cause I’m about to complain!
A lighting strike again near you.
Or maybe after we get out of this place.
---
You tried to go to the samurai.. er- ronins?, seeing that they are the only intelligent creature near here. You tried to ask some question, maybe you could have some answer! But nope, one of them really just rush to you and you do your best to dodge so you wouldn’t be sabitonare’d by some random ronin. You’re very much still wanted to be alive.
”WHY DO YOU SUDDENLY ATTACK ME?! I DON’T BRING ANY WEAPON!”
“Because, you look like the creator!”
Excuse me who?
You tried to ask them again. But one of their friends just suggested that they try to sell you to the black market! Something about your face and your likeness to the creator that may have gotten them some fortunes! And maybe some money to heal their friends that just got hit by a lightning strike.
“Hey man, dude, samurai, whatever. It’s rude to plan about kidnapping someone when the someone you plan to kidnap is right in front of you. Anyway, I’m not that worth kidnapping, brodudes. Even I’ll be surprised if someone see some worth in me. My price could be only one potato chips! Plus who is this creator you talkin’ about?”
The samurai’s look at you as if you’re an idiot. You felt offended. “Hey! I just arrived here with no memories on how do I get here. Cut off some slack will ya?”
To your surprise they really considered that. Huh, maybe they really aren’t as bad as you think they would be. Maybe you should try to reduce the amount of time you farm for their handguard.
One of the nobushi in the back suddenly go forward to you. His face looking weirdly somber. “You... didn’t remember anything? Poor one, I know how that feels...” Choruses of ‘Not this again...’ can be heard in the back. The leader smacked his forehead in some tired resignation.
“Nobu, you know we can’t...” But ‘Nobu’ who you assumed was the one standing in front of you, yelled back. “No, We can leader! This poor little one right here is amnesiac in the middle of the storm! You know how we all started right? We have no one and no where. We stays and recruit people and we survived together until today! Are we really going to abandon them?!”
Wow, uh... this is really turning into some anime sad moments right now. Well, this is one of your chance to survive.
“Hello Mr, Leader sir! I really have no idea how I get here. Can I stay with your group?? I promise, doing something nice will bring you great luck today!” You hoped it would convince him, with the nobushi in front of you making a weird begging face too. Man, you didn’t know these npcs are so expressive. The leader sighs.
“Right, you wouldn’t listen to me anyway. Alright brat, you win. Okay now, what’s your name kiddo?”
The towering height of the leader is unnerving you. WHAT DID THESE PEOPLE EAT? And how about your name? Is it save to give them your real name? Not worth the danger.
“I’m... Bob.” The leader looks at you with more suspicion. “Family name?”
“Uhm... The builder?” Sweats are rolling to your jaws. Curse you and your stupid naming sense in the middle of danger!
“Right... Bob the.. Builder. We are going somewhere urgent. You follow us and maybe we’ll find a role for you. Let’s see if your so called speech in me doing nice thing will give us some luck,” says the leader sarcastically. You laugh in a nervous way, praying to whatever deities or Gods in this place that your bullshit was going to go smooth. “Aye aye sir.”
What you didn’t expect was the bullshit, it was working. Not long after you followed them, no bad thing have happened to you all. In your journey. There is no monster who is getting close to your group. The leader even said maybe you’re quite the lucky charm. You grinned, and quickly try to establish some kind of friendly relationship with them. Especially the nobushi who tried to rescue you. He is just some amnesiac kid in the past and the leader saved him too. That was the reason he tried to take you and you really appreciate that.
And not after long, your group was stopping. They said they need to meet some important client. Nobu, the chad, explains their transaction.
“We kinda work with the Kamisato family to keep eyes on the more rough and aggressive ronins. We are going to give the reports to them right now. He said, if we do this job for them for a long time, They will guarantee a living quarter for all of us when we turned old! It was such a great deal. We thank him for that!”
Oh this group is kinda nice. You do are lucky, also it seemed the storms are already ending. Huh, that’s quite fast considering when you’re scared a moment ago it’s still raining heavily. Meh, maybe it’s the raiden shogun and her mood swings.
“Uh... Konnichiwa?”
‘Wait, Nobu, who is him?” You notice this mysterious figure mentioned in the line of someone who is working with your group. Nobu opened his mouth, but he’s interrupted by some man just poofing into existence from out of nowhere and it scared the bejeebus out of you.
“Kai’s group, you bring those reports?” The leader rolls his eye. “You guys are always dramatic. Here,” He give them a stack of rolled paper, each one with the information of ronins around kamisato estate and Konda Village.
The ninjas immidiatelly secured the scrolls. “we thank you for your cooperation...” He suddenly became quite. The ninjas are looking right into you. You squirmed in your place, slowly goes behind Nobu to hide from their stares.
They wield their weapon at once. ‘WHO ARE YOU? WHY ARE YOU IMPERSONATING THE CREATOR?!”
The ninjas stopped. The fearful look in their face as the cloud began to surround you and lightnings trying to hit them. They are terrified and starting to doubt their accusation. You, who was not aware of everything happening around due to the adrenaline, only smiles in satisfaction seeing they finally listen to you.
Oh fuck. The group hasn’t explained who is this fucking creator. One of the shuriken lands near your feet. And you leapt back.
“HEY! I’m not this-” You dodge a shuriken. “--Creator you talkin about--” another shuriken, “--LISTEN TO ME YOU NARUTO RIP OFFS” The thunder and storms is already coming back. Clouding the area where you all was staying.
“Now, that’s a good manner. Don’t go around swinging those weapon at some random people will you? I don’t like getting hurt,” The ninjas nodded quickly. Some of the nobushi, in the command of the leader who sense there are something peculiar about you, made a formation to protect from any further harm.
Then, you heard someone walking from behind. The sound of rustling clothes and you heard the sound of someone sipping something. Oh no, there is only one man in the entire Genshin cast that drinks in the middle of the road.
The leader walks up behind you, “Ya sure ya ain’t someone kid? Weather don’t react that way when someone ordinary is angry,” He said while pointing the clouds that has began to disperse after circling you.
“Huh, no idea. What I remember I’m just an ordinary someone,” you shrug. Hey, you already need to deal being isekai’d to Genshin. You have no other reason to think why the weather is stormy. You’re not a forecaster.
“Gentlemen, Is there something I can help you with?”
Look and Behold! The famous Mr, Kamisato is here! The man himself is sipping the boba tea that he just took out from his sleeve.
How the fuck the does that is still unknown to you.
One of the ninjas that previously attack you is already beside him. He is whispering something to the Kamisato Lord, while eyeing you disdainfully. Which earned a middle finger from you.
“Wow, great, I’m being accused. So fun.” “Shut up, Bob the Builder!” The leader whacked you in the head for talking disrespectfully in front of the Kamisato head, which make you yelp in pain.
“Hey Leader, he started it!” You pout. You have your pride and there is no way you would let somebody accuse you of anything.
Ayato looks at you. A weird clothes. Disheveled and messy. Also a bit damp from the rain. But the fact that your face literally looks like the creator is also unnerving. But your name, Bob the Builder? Huh...
“Excuse us, it seems that our ninja here mistakes you impersonating our creator. We deeply apologize,” Ayato took another calculating look towards you. The warmth of the creator vanished moments ago. Lots of people are trying to investigate what happened, Ayato included. But then, you came. Someone who resembles the creator. Ayato also see what happened when you got mad before. He sees the cloud’s that’s circling you. He needs more information.
“Our creator, [Name], is the divine god all of us worship. Surely you understand why we have gotten suspicious, right, Bob the Builder?”
The confused expression in your face is the answer he’s looking for. You mouthed something along “How does he knows my name?”. Ayato smiled deviously. If his assumption is correct, “Our creator last mention about how they are happy at getting the Haran Gepakku Futsu sword after getting me as their vessel in 50 pulls. maybe they are celebrating that so that’s the reason they get away...” Ayato looks at your offended face.
“HEY NO WAY. I GOT SPOOKED WITH A FUCKING ELEGY! AYATO’S AWORD IS BLACK CLIFF NOW---” You eyes widen and you suddenly closed your mouth with your hands. Ayato smiled, he then once asked again, now with his black cliff sword out in the open. “Oh my, How do you know that? That information is only known by me and the creator,...”
All attention now on to you. Nobu is looking for you in astonishment.
“Bob... Are you?”
“On my defense, I still don’t know who is this creator you talking about.” You slowly walked away from all of them. But some of the ninja’s restrained you. Your face is getting paler.
Kamisato Ayato’s eyes gleamed. Is this the reason their creator’s warmth is gone? So they chose to ascend to teyvat? Ayato walks forward. He kneels in front of you and slowly took your hand and kissed it softly. A strong possessive looks in his eyes makes you flinch. What is happening?
“Oh my lovely creator... Welcome. Such an honor to be the first vessel who meets you in this form...” You looks even paler. Your character knows you? You’re their creator? The sudden influx of information is making you dizzy. You looks at the samurai group that has been your traveling company. Eyes pleading for help but they look frozen. Nobu suddenly shouts.
“WAIT, THEY ARE THE CREATOR?!”
Or Maybe, this is all real?
Kamisato Ayato chuckled. How fortunate. It seems this group is really worth the investing. He never knew this little plan of his would result in something so fruitful.
Your head is spinning. You don’t even know where to start thinking. Ayato took this as a chance to whisk you away to the Kamisato estate. “Oh estemeed creator, you seemed tired. How about we go to the Kamisato estate. I’m sure you will be delighted there!” You look at the men who surrounds you. Yeah, this is really confusing, but hey, a chance to rest is something you need right now. Maybe all of this is really just a surreal dream. Maybe you will wake up after this in your cozy bedroom.

Welp, this is it. This is the continuation. Have it folks. I'll surely be updating this in the future but IDK how long. cuz currently, I'm still preparing for a college entrance exam. Hopefully, this will suffice for now. If you have any ideas, complain, or brain-rot, feel free! Oh, Ayato simps be winning in this chapter lol.
Faith is a sacred thing. It is holy, full of loyalty, and something that roots deep within people's hearts that serves as a guide. Guide on how they live their life. Guide on how they choose their morality and how to treat someone. Like how to treat a person like you! Who is mistaken as an imposter?
You are aware of the looks given to you. Those Shuumatsuban ninjas didn't even hide their glare while escorting you and Ayato. You grumbled. All this ordeal has left you very exhausted. Waking up in the middle of the storms, getting attacked, and now having to walk a long way to The Kamisato Estate. Yeah, you'd like to take a bath and maybe some warm food.
After navigating through the Chinju forest, your group arrived at the gate of The Kamisato Estate. You heard comments from the NPCs about how beautiful this place is. It seems they are not exaggerating after all.
You gasped. The sheer luxury of this place is up a notch. The soft glow of the lantern as the sky slowly turns to dark blue is beautiful. As if they are guiding you to this fine architecture. The soft blows of the wind with a hint of saltiness from the sea are also very refreshing. You stood in awe. Your ordinary self feels intimidated by the presence of this place alone. You, whom some moments ago, are just someone who tries to pay the rent of your apartment. You backed up a little, discomfort and insecurities filling your heart. Are you allowed to stay in this place? Your mother once look at you apartement and literally said “Damn you lived like this?” Once. Hey, That time it’s because exam week, you’re way too busy with your grades to care.
"Ayato, are you sure it's okay for me to be here?" you asked in doubt. Sure, when you played the game, you have always wanted to visit this place yourself. Honestly, who wouldn't? If you're honest, sometimes you would think, "How does it feel to live in such a luxurious place?" The thought always made you giddy and smile from the excitement. But now, after seeing the real thing, you're not so sure. Ayato smiled, not his usual political smile, but one genuine, full of love and adoration. It makes you uncomfortable. You didn't feel... worthy.
Before he could answer, one of his ninjas, though scared, snapped back at you. "You dare refer to Lord Kamisato so casually like that? Filthy imposter, you should know your place!"
You flinched back. You don't have enough energy to bicker back, and your anxiety's spiking up. The wind blows fast and harsher. You squeezed your hand so hard it turned white. You can handle people being mean to you, but that doesn't mean you don't feel hurt. You ignore the wind that starts getting restless, the trees trashing around along with the wind.
"Look, Ayato-- Lord Kamisato. I appreciate your thoughts." You bowed, apologizing. "But it seems that I won't be received well in your place. I'll go back with Nobu and continue my travel with them--"
"Shut up." You flinched, not daring to look up. Ayato's voice is devoid of any warmth.
Did you mess up somewhere? Did your bow is disrespectful? You heard little gasps behind you as well. Oh no, you definitely messed up.
But I don't want to die.
An idea pops through your head
Hey, I can apologize! He will forgive me, right?
You stand up straight, expecting Ayato to glare at you.
Only to see a body stumbles in front of you and fall to the ground. His face was pale as paper. You scream and walk back. The sight of it scares you, but you can't help your sense of morality to help him.
"IS HE DEAD?!" You scrambled to him, grabbing his hand to check any pulse left. In the past, your school has given you some first aid lessons. It's time to practice your knowledge. You reached to the area on the side of his neck. You are relieved when you feel the weak pulse there. After calming yourself, you realize that the unconscious man was the one who mocked you before.
You feel someone's hand gently caressing your cheeks. You startled, whipping around your head to see Ayato looking at you worriedly. You felt relieved that he's not angry at you, but can't he sees the man being unconscious in the dirt? Sure, he is a jerk. Maybe he deserves it a bit. But he looks like he is on the verge of dying!
"T-Thank you for your concern Ay-- Lord Kamisato. But, um, the soldier, Shouldn't he get some treatment?" you asked hurriedly. Ayato squeezes your arms gently once again.
"Just call me Ayato, Dear creator." He said while longingly looking at you. He wanted your attention on him, but the man, who offended you oh so greatly, is diverting your attention from him.
Ayato glances at him. His eyes turn cold and emotionless. How dare this man belittle you, the great creator. How dare he mock you. It seems that the education instilled in them is still not working effectively. He needs to note that for his plan.
The samurais in the back are frozen stiff. They've seen how Lord Kamisato creates a bubble around the ninja's head, mercilessly drowning him, slowly and silently crushing it with water pressure whirling inside the bubble. They've seen the anger and fury gleaming in the head commission's eyes. They've seen it before, anger so primal but so concealed. They wouldn't have noticed if they'd never experienced it before.
Nobu walks forward intending to tell you what has happened. You need to know what happened. The leader, sensing one of his youngest member's intentions, grabs his shoulder harshly. Nobu jerked back, head whipped around to glare at him. The leader motions to Lord Kamisato, who is glancing at them. His eyes filled with hidden messages.
"You don't want the same cruel thing to happen to you right? Don't intervene."
The leader got that message clear. He wants to help you, but he is still powerless in front of the commissioner and his army. Lord Kamisato called you the creator, but to him, you are just a clueless person who doesn't know anything. He will make you one of the group, but now, he hopes your fate there will be lucky, even if his gut was telling him otherwise. If there's another chance to help you, he will repay this sin.
You are still waiting for Ayato's response. Quietly tugging his arms, you called out to him. Ayato's attention is back to you now. His eyes change forth between fury and adoration, which unsettles you. He looks at one of your hands on the unconscious soldier's head.
"No worries, My grace. He is a little bit exhausted from today's mission and hasn't been resting. I'm sure enough rest will make him better the next day." He lied smoothly. The ninja gets the messages and takes their friend back to their living quarters.
You stood up awkwardly. Ayato is still holding your arms. His eyes are still soft with adoration and another emotion you can't pinpoint.
"You can let me go, Lord Kamisato." Ayato looks partially hurt. "Just Ayato, Dear creator. Call me Ayato, like how you used to call me before coming here."
"But, I just met you! What do you mean how I used to call you?"
Ayato looked confused. It seems that something happened when you were transported here. Ayato once again invited you to come inside. You tried to deny it because you don't want to see or hear other people mocking you again. Ayato reassures you, but you still doubt it.
You looked back, but the samurai group was already nowhere to be seen. Your feel your hearts break a little. They don't care about you, huh? You have no other choice but to go with Ayato.
You glanced at him. His expression brightens when he realizes you're looking at him. His lips go full of smiles and his eyes crinkle with mirth.
Maybe, living here for a while is not so bad.
You are guided to the front door of the estate. The Zen garden stretched beautifully across the manner. The white sands look soft and fresh. The lanterns glow warmly in the dark.
You felt yourself relax a little. The guards salute in their Lord's presence. They can't help but notice another person who is tagging along with their Lord. They wanted to converse but their Lord send them a warning gaze while covering the mysterious person's face with his sleeve, resulting in him half hugging the figure to himself.
Ayato suddenly feels his heart thudding fast. Warmth spread all over his body and he feels so bashful. Who knows being this close to the creator feels so comforting. It's similar to the aura enveloping him when he's in the vessel mode but way more powerful.
You are clueless. When Ayato obscures your vision with his sleeve and hugs you, you feel flustered. He smells of wood and weirdly, milk? It is soothing, but still, you're flustered.
"Ayato?! What are you doing?" you squeak. Ayato looks even more bashful. His face flushed even redder. The guards look stunned. Is someone calling their lord on a first-name basis?
"A-Ah I see. it's some important guest to you. I'll call Thoma my lord." The guard rushes inside the manor. While Ayato, who now couldn't hold his desire anymore, decide to embrace you as a way to hide your face.
"Oi, Ayato. Is this necessary?!" You look up to him. Face red and flustered. Which led to Ayato feeling even more overwhelmed.
My creator is way too cute. How can I be calm?!
Trying to reason with himself. Ayato said, "Of course, we wouldn't want to see your face now, don't we? You don't want the same thing to happen again. Right, dear?"
Your confused expression is endearing, per se. One of his hands slowly caresses your cheeks. Both of your faces flushed red because of the situation. Ayato cups your cheeks. His smile is full of love.
"I'll explain everything to you later, dear. We need to find somewhere private--"
"Shall I prepare a special room My Lord?" an unfamiliar voice suddenly joins in. You and Ayato jolt in surprise. Ayato hides your face and you hug Ayato even tighter.
Thoma stood there looking awkward. Ayato is a little bit unhappy someone disturbs him, but he is also relieved that Thoma has arrived.
"Ah, Thoma. Prepare one of the most secluded rooms in the estate." It's a question with many meanings. But, with Ayato's flustered face and his wavering voice, its meaning took a big turn.
"Are you going to do that My Lord?" Thoma asked bashfully. You, who are frozen from meeting another cast of Genshin so quickly took alert at the question that Thoma gave.
"Do what???" Your question is left ignored. Ayato quickly replied. "Yes, Thoma. We will do 'that' private thing. So you all better don't disturb me for the rest of the night. You don't want to interrupt our... 'private' moments. Don't you?"
Thoma stood straight and almost saluted, which you think is funny. "O-Of course My lord! Er- Enjoy your time in intimate moments!" He stuttered.
You choke.
Intimate moments?! What is Ayato going to do with you?! You look at Ayato with a horrified expression. He looks panicked and quickly mouthed you "Trust me" before bridal carrying you through the halls and quickly ran to one of the rooms that has been recently prepared by the servants.
Ayato shuts the door and the servant quickly hurried away, afraid they'll disturb their lord.
Ayaka, whose just arrived at the scene walked to Thoma. She closes her fans. Eyes looking at the room his brother just went in.
"What happened Thoma, why do you look so pale?"
"His lord is doing someone,"
Ayako raises his eyebrows."You mean something?"
Thome is silent, looking at her with a serious expression.
"My apologies, Lady Ayaka. But did I stutter?"
"Oh my Excellency, The Almighty Narukami Ogosho, God of Thunder!"
The gossip went wild that night.

VENTI
As you were playing with his character, fighting some hilichurls, you took him to Stormterror’s lair. Venti was used to going there a lot, but today it hurt. He didn’t know why, but there was something odd about looking at the place. You were just exploring the place as you reminisced the start of the game. You had controlled Venti to walk on this one specific bridge, and it had brought tears to his eyes.
It was the very bridge where his friend’s life was taken. What made it worse was you had turned the camera so you could see Venti. You just admired him with these eyes that just made him break down. You couldn’t see him crying, but he couldn’t get the image of his friend out of his head. You reminded him so much of his bard friend.
Venti taking on the appearance of his bard friend didn’t help either. There was so much guilt in just looking at you. Your eyes had the same spark, your smile harbored the same aura. It made his heart ache so much. The more you just stared at him, the more he was choking back sobs. Venti couldn’t just look into your eyes anymore.
A mass amount of guilt of not only not being able to look at you, but taking on and living as his dead friend was too much. The code between his world and the game on your screen was trying to keep hold. Venti’s sadness was slowly showing, and you thought it was a glitch. You grew panicked when the usually smiling bard had a very broken glint in his eyes. You brought a finger to the screen as if trying to wipe a tear away.
“There there, don’t cry! It’ll be okay.”
Your words reached his very sensitive heart. He could feel the warmth of your finger on his cheek as it soothed him. Venti had felt himself being moved outside of Storm Terror’s lair, feeling as though you had heard his mind. You just held a soft smile as you went somewhere else in Mondtstadt to explore. But deep down, Venti had thought you heard his cries, and brought him somewhere else to calm down.

DILUC
You were using Diluc to run around the Dawn Winery doing one of the stupid NPC’s key commission. Diluc couldn’t count on one hand how many times you’ve done this commission, but your kindness in doing it over and over had touched him. Once you had finished, the red head had expected you to rush away to do another commission. However, you didn’t, instead you had walked his character inside the Dawn Winery.
It was an odd thing for you to do for one thing, but you bringing him to his desk was another. You smiled at him and, unknowing to him, his heart ached. You sat his character in the chair and just stared at him. He became uneasy as the silence brought his mind time to wonder. One specific memory that burned in his mind had resurfaced.
His father’s death was something he did not expect to think about. But the more he looked at you, the more he thought of his father. He was reminded of how much he wanted to make his father proud. He looked down at his vision, a remembrance of his dad wanting one. He wasn’t ready for this, for you to see him this vulnerable.
Unbeknownst to him, you could barely see how much he was breaking under your gaze. The code had made sure, or at least did its best, to show you only the resting face on Diluc. But something had caught your eye, as you looked deeper into Diluc’s eyes. You thought it was a trick on your eyes, but you thought you could see tears brimming in his eyes. His eye’s widened as he heard your soft voice speak, feeling your finger touch his cheek through the screen.
“Don’t be sad, I’m so proud of you!”
You saying he was proud of him was too much, as your touch was gentle on his cheek. His body was still, but you moved him out of the chair. He suddenly felt himself jolt up out of the chair. You brought him to a more scenic part of Mondstadt, as his nerves calmed down. Now, however, if he looked deep into your eyes, he could see his father staring at him with a proud smile.

ZHONGLI
Zhongli was great for exploring, and he was honored to help out the all mighty being with the exploration of his land. However, as you were looking for cor lapis, you had the idea for a great scenic moment. Zhongli wasn’t new to you just looking at him in the most scenic areas of Liyue, but today something felt wrong. The more you had him climb up Mt. Aocang, the more the memories flooded back to him. Once at the top, you had him slowly walk through the water to the table in the middle.
He remembered this table well, and the carving on the seat of his dead loved one hurt him. The memories of the war and when he lost her stung so much. The worst part was when you turned the camera to see his face. He looked deep into your eyes and saw his past love Guizhong. You had the same loving gaze as she once did, and it hurt his heart so much.
He adored you, sure, but something about you looking at him just did something to him. He couldn’t look away, being mesmerized by the sadness of the memories. He didn’t want to lose you like he did her, especially with how similar you felt to her. He started to tremble, being so overwhelmed with the thoughts and feelings of Guizhong. The code could only hold so much of Zhongli’s sadness, but you could see his character shake.
His hand was trembling as he sat on the chair that had his old retired name engraved on it. He didn’t think he could have a reaction like this to just a memory that was so long ago. Your gentle gaze didn’t help, especially when you noticed his character shake slightly. You thought it was a bit silly, but you brought your finger to the screen, as if trying to hold his hand. Your voice was something he desperately needed to here.
“It’s alright, I’m here now, so no need for tears.”
He was shocked as you were the one comforting him. Your touch was a much-needed thing as he started to ground himself. You moved him away from the stone table in Mt. Aocang. You had him jump off as he windglided down, loving the view. Still, the thought of your gaze reminding him of his one love was raw in his mind.

XIAO
Xiao felt so happy that the all seeing being had chosen him to go and explore Liyue as you went to complete commissions and do domains. That was until you were wandering around Jeuyun Karst, getting closer to that one place he never had the courage to go. He didn’t understand why, but he trusted you guiding him. That is, until you stopped his character in front of Bosacius’ shrine. He didn’t know what to do, or even how to think about what you were doing.
All these thoughts and memories flooded back to him. This wasn’t a new thing, but it hurt a lot more than usual. There was so much regret in his heart, but it made it worse as you turned to see his face. This made it so much harder to suppress his feelings. Your eyes and your aura reminded him so much of all his Yaksha friends.
He could see all of them in you, and he didn’t know how to react. He felt himself becoming more and more vulnerable by the second. The more he stayed in this place, and the more he stared at you, the worse it felt. His mind rushed with so many thoughts, nothing seemingly able to calm it down. He constantly switched his gaze from the shrine, to you, back to the shrine, and back to you.
Xiao hated feeling like this, especially in front of the great being that ruled all of Teyvat. His anger was more mixed with his sadness, but it caused him to look down. He didn’t want you to see the pain he had in his eyes. Especially since he was in front of Bosacius’ shrine. His anger kept being fuelled by the thoughts of his past Yaksha’s friends, until he heard your voice speak to him.
“Just take some deep breaths. Everything will be okay.”
He felt guilty about you seeing him being so vulnerable. You gave him a soft smile as you slowly brought him away from Bosacius’ shrine in Jeuyun Karst after you left an item. Xiao’s mind was elsewhere as you went to do the rest of your commissions and other needed quests. You had the gaze of all 4 of his Yaksha friends, and it made it hard. But he was going to wait for you to close the game to have a breakdown.

EI
You were using Ei to fight some measly enemies for since character’s ascension. She was so happy to be helping you, and once she felt the puppet on your team, she switched her consciousness. It was all so exciting to her, helping the great deity of Teyvat that watched over them all. She would use this time to gain your favor for Inazuma, to give all the residents your blessing of happiness for all eternity. Her happiness would diminish, however, as soon as you had her stand under a very familiar tree to her.
She didn’t understand why you were taking her here. Did you need something around here? If so, she knew many other places that had what you need, anywhere but here in her mind. Her mind couldn’t let go of the thought of her sister. Being here was something she wasn’t ready for, let alone you taking her here.
When you turned the camera to face her, she just couldn’t take what she saw. You were morphing into her sister, your eyes were a reflection of Makoto. Her eyes widened as she couldn’t look away. There were so many things she wanted to say, she was convinced you were her sister. She tried to switch out of the puppet, but something was keeping her here.
She started to cry as she just stood under the tree. It was a serene scene as the leaves flew down, gently sticking to Ei’s hair. She wanted to scream out in pain, but afraid of what you would do. She was comfortable around you to show weakness, but not this intense form of grief. You caught on to her feelings and gently brought your finger to the screen, as if trying to caress her cheek.
“No no don't cry! I'm sorry, it'll be okay, I promise!”
Your promise made her tears want to flow harder. The feeling of your touch made her feel safe. She couldn't look at you, however, not when you gave her your gentle gaze. Not when she saw the sister she had lost in those eyes. Your touch was so similar to her sister too, and when you logged off for the night, the people of Inazuma had the most intense lightning storm.

KAZUHA
Kazuha felt so happy that you thought of him for mining ore and fighting the enemies that would wonder toward him. There was this smile on his face whenever he used his skill. The cavern you were now at though, was very close to a place he never had visited in a while. That was not after he returned something from that place. The closer you brought his character to that one place, the more anxious he felt.
His eyes went straight around the corner to see the sword, that one sword he wasn’t ready to see again. You stopped his character right in front of his friend’s grave. He didn’t understand what you were doing, and yet he couldn’t find himself to care. All his mind was on was the death of his friend, and the vision that he had placed there. He could only look down at it, not knowing what to do or say.
He started to tremble subconsciously, he could only stare as his mind raced. The scene of his friend’s death played over and over again, he thought he had gotten over this guilt, but it felt fresh to him. He started to cry, and his body started to shake. You had noticed this change, however, as you turned the camera to look at Kazuha. You brought your hand to gently touch his cheek through the screen.
He got startled and looked at you, surprised with what he saw. Your aura, and your gaze, was so much like the friend he was just morning. Your touch on his cheek felt the same too, soft and kind. It made him feel worse, he didn’t even think someone could remind him of his friend. His eyes slowly widened when he heard your soft words.
“I know you’re hurting, but please don’t cry, it’ll be okay.”
Your words brought a whole wave of calm to him, something that also reminded him of his dead friend. Tears still rolled down his cheeks, but they were calmed now. You slowly walked his character away from his dead friend's grave, having him not look back. He felt guilty, sure, but he was grateful that you were such an understanding deity. You were just like his friend, and seeing you every time made him think of the one person he lost.

HEZIOU
Heizou had this cocky smirk on his face as you traveled around the towns of Inazuma through his character. He loved when you chose him over anyone else to explore with. In his mind, he was kicking his feet and screaming into a pillow. That image in his head was then replaced when you stopped on an all too familiar part of the town. He tried to rationalize why you brought him here, what you could possibly need here.
He stared blankly at this one particular spot that he remembered all too well. He gaze wouldn’t break from that one spot, not even your soft rambling to yourself could break his stare. Heizou was all too focused on one particular moment that replayed in his head over and over again. He then made the mistake to see you staring at him with your bright eyes. His whole body stiffened as he saw something in you.
Your eyes were so much like the friend that he lost in that very spot. He couldn’t take it, he couldn’t take you looking at him. He fell to his knees, to which you couldn’t see him do because of the code, and broke down in tears. His mouth was agape in disbelief, not realizing how similar you looked to his dead friend. His entire mind was in denial of the entire situation.
He was shaking his head, trying to get rid of the hysteria of his friend’s dead body that was burned into his mind. The tears fell as he tried not to violently cry in the busy city. He thought of all the ‘what if’ scenarios, what he could have done to save his friend. Your gaze on him didn’t help his busy mind, he tried so hard to avoid looking at you. As you brought your hand to gently touch his face through the screen, he was pulled out of his thoughts.
“My dear, it’ll be okay, there isn’t a need for tears.”
He couldn’t stop the tears that flowed down his cheeks. They watered the street that he stood on in the town of Inazuma. So many bottled feelings from his friend’s death, now slowly flowing out after your words of comfort. You slowly walked him out of the area to a more scenic part, as the waves calmed his nerves. But now all he could see in you was the friend that he had found dead.

WANDERER
Wanderer may not have seemed like it, but he was super happy that you were using him to fly around and find missing chests around the lands. There was some anxiety within him when you entered Inazuma. He hadn’t been there, his homeland, in a while. He wasn’t ready to go back any time soon, but here you were taking him to Inazuma, and to the one place he hated. The one place where he was backstabbed, and lost his stable life that he once had.
He couldn’t ever see himself coming back to this place, to the Tatarasuna Furnace. All the memories, the betrayal, and the abandonment came back to him. He didn’t know why you were doing this to him, you the all mighty creator, taking him to this one place he has forsaken. He couldn’t bring himself to think of his friend, he tried to ignore the flooding thoughts. Nothing made sense in his mind at this point, not understanding why he was here.
You turning the camera to see his face was another thing that deeply confused him. His eyes were looking around frantically, trying to find any reason why you were here. His gaze then settled on your face. Your soft smile was so much like his dead friend. He couldn’t take it, he wanted you to look away from him. Wanderer wanted to cry right then and there, but not wanting you to see him like this.
The tears he tried to force away started to fall. His hands were shaking as he tried to wipe the tears away. He hated feeling this way, feeling these sad emotions. You noticed his shaking character and put your finger to the screen as he felt it on his hand. His eyes widened after your soft voice spoke up.
“Shhh I’m here now, everything will be okay.”
Wanderer didn’t know how to respond to your words. This was so new for him, to have someone he desperately cared for care for him. Especially when that person reminded him of his old friend. He felt grateful for your comfort, but felt guilty that you had to leave Inazuma to go back to Sumeru for his sake. It truly showed that your kindness was so similar with his friend that has long since past.

KAVEH
You were wandering around Sumeru City, trying to do the reputation quests. One had required you to go to into the library of the Akedemiya and you were using Kaveh to complete it. He felt so happy to be useful to you, helping you with these mundane quests. However, going into the library was off to him. Specifically, something about today hurt him a lot to be in that library.
What made him feel worse was when you had him sit at one of the tables. He was supposed to be on his day off from work, and helping you. This only gave him the memories of his family, his mother. You turning the camera to see his face didn’t help him feel any better. He tried to keep his emotion’s down and out of sight, just for your sake.
Your gaze was too much for him. He saw his mother’s soft and loving eyes, and he couldn’t stand it. His eyes started to shake, as tears pricked his red, glossy eyes. His mind was enveloped by memories of his mother, before she left. Tears softly streamed down his cheek, dripping onto the table that he was sitting at.
All of a sudden, he felt your touch through the screen. It was warm and welcoming, something he hasn’t felt for a while. It made his heart ache ever more, not knowing what to do. He didn’t expect that anyone, not even the all seeing god, to give him this kind of comfort. Your loving and comforting gaze was just a reminder of the family that he didn’t have.
“No more tears, you’re doing so well, it’ll be alright.”
Your soft praise reached him, and he could only give you a soft, teary smile. You really were like family to him, and it just hurt so much, even when you gave him comfort. You decided to walk his character out of the Akedemiya, which he was very grateful for. You had brought him to a calmer part in Sumeru so he could calm down. The only thoughts in his head however were how much his family would have loved to meet you.

CHILDE
You staring at Childe through the character screen was off-putting enough for him. But then with tears streaming down your face? That was when he became deeply concerned for you. There was this anger bubbling inside him, he wanted to take it out on those that made you cry. He wanted nothing more than to be there with you to comfort you.
He started to do his idle where his bow shows up, resisting the urge to shoot something around him. You were hyperventilating, the tears overwhelming your eyes. He hated seeing you like this, he wanted to see your smile again. Your broken voice hit his ears as he put his bow away. He stared at you as you muttered to yourself.
“I wish you were with me…”
Your words shattered his heart. He didn’t think that you, an all mighty being, could be so vulnerable. And that fact you were so vulnerable in front of him, call him selfish, but he felt so happy that he was the person you could feel like this with. He just watched you cry, plotting the downfall of those that had harmed you. No one would get away with hurting a god such as yourself.
He calmed down as he saw you drift off to sleep. His eyes were dark with rage, as his gaze from your sleeping figure didn’t break. Your screen dimmed due to inactivity, and his body was stiff. There was only one thing in his mind. And that thought passed through his lips as you could slightly hear him in your sleep.
“Dry your tears, you will have a wonderful place here in the Fatui. You will be protected within the Tsaritsa’s care and mine too.”

LA SIGNORA
You were crying as you had the pause menu open. You thought you could handle this fight against Signoria again. You never liked killing her over and over again, it was too much to your already aching head and heart. She realized you had stopped fighting her, and she saw your crying state. Signoria wanted to go easy on you, hoping you’d just finish this already. She didn’t like fighting you, much like how you didn’t like fighting her.
She felt so upset that someone could have this power over you. Signoria couldn’t even think that you, an all mighty being, could be so vulnerable. She then felt the battle continue, figuring that you decided to push through your sadness. She admired you for the way you would push though. Then the words you screamed out as you continued the fight with her hurt her so much.
“I wish you were with me!
Her anger couldn’t be contained as flames came out of her dress. It was a lot more intense as you tried to beat her. She let you win, however, with one of your best times in her domain. She just hoped it would have made you feel a little better. She saw you exit, feeling so bad as she wished you stayed. She longed for you, and she watched you as you stood outside her domain.
And after you fell asleep, standing outside the domain, AFK she could still see you. She could see your sleeping, tear stained face. It hurt her knowing that not only fighting her made you so sad, but someone outside their world made you sad. She brought a hand up to the window as she just stared at the carrier of your actions. She muttered out to herself, hoping you heard her in your resting state.
“Even in death, I will try my best to protect you, all mighty creator…”

DOTTORE
You had been attached to Dottore ever since he was shown in the manga. He could feel your attachment even before the game released, even before his story in the game was shown. He admired you so much, and he hated that he had to turn everyone in Sumeru against you. His cutscene played, but he was intrigued when he saw you crying. He started to think that you were so hurt by his plot, by how the whole story quest was going.
He wasn’t far away after that cut scene. He stayed around, wanting to make sure you were okay. But he could only hear your sobbing, and he got closer, wanting to comfort you. The more you cried, the more he wanted to see you. The more he wanted you to see him and his comforting gaze, and it hurt him when you stuttered out of your tears.
“I w-wish y-you w-were with m-m-me.”
He found your stuttering crying voice cute, but he wanted to help you so bad. Dottore couldn’t bring himself to accept the fact that someone could make you cry. It hurt him when you said that you needed him when he wasn’t there. He wanted so bad to be with you, to comfort you. His mind went to crazy places.
He noticed you were falling asleep, letting the dialogue pause to let you sleep peacefully. He felt honored to see a god like you, fall asleep and be peaceful. He wanted to kill those that made you sad, made you cry like this. His mind was plotting as the screen dimmed. He muttered to himself, not wanting the others around to notice he was there.
“I will do anything to those that make you cry, wire their brains to worship you like the god you are.”

ARLECCHINO
You were so excited to finally see Arlecchino after the trailers and leaks from the community. But you felt so upset during the quest, you couldn’t handle not crying. As you were listening to her dialogue, you were sobbing. Arlecchino’s ears perked up as she heard your sad sobs. It shocked her that you, the all seeing being, could be this vulnerable.
She became more concerned the longer you stayed on her dialogue screen. She had just met you, but she had heard of you through word of mouth, since you were a popular deity that was worshiped all over Teyvat. But seeing you like this for the first time was new. You had trusted her enough, after one interaction, to cry in front of her. Then your soft sad voice spoke up and she was stunned.
“I wish you were with me.”
Her eyes widened when she heard your soft and sad voice say that. She wanted you with her, too, to be worshiped like the god you are. She had always fantasized of all the children of the House of the Hearth meeting you, as they all admired you. She set up a room for you, and she wanted you there more than ever. But there was this rage that someone did this to you, made you this sad.
She sighed as it seemed she would be stuck in this dialogue for a little bit as you fell asleep. She was content, though, seeing you now calm from your previous crying fit. She broke out of her pose to bring her hand to her chin, as she thought to herself. Her gaze was soft as she stared at your sleeping face. She broke the code once more as she spoke off the script.
“I wish I were with you, to wipe away your tears. Once you come here, you will be worshiped by all in the House of the Hearth.”

You remind me of them
Characters: Venti, Diluc, Zhongli, Xiao, Ei, Kazuha, Heizou, Wanderer, Kaveh
Summary: Self Aware characters when they look at you long enough to see those that they lost.
Warnings: Death, blood, war
A/U: Self aware genshin AU

Songs from the heart! | 200 followers event
So I just hit 200 followers and had this idea for an event! Here's how it works!
Description: You are playing Genshin Impact or Twisted Wonderland as you listen to music. Three of the characters, however, are curious about the song you're listening too. How will they react to the lyrics?
What to do: 1.) Pick a song 2.) Pick 3 characters (either from genshin or twisted) 3.) Choose either normal or Yandere 4.) Pick angst or fluff
Restrictions: I will not do any song that has slurs in it, I won't do any problimatic artists, I won't do any song that has a problimatic meaning. I AM ALLOWED TO TURN DOWN ANY REQUEST AT ANY TIME.
Status: Open ✅
Just imagine it, You're their god, creator, hope, their reason, the control you have over them is unfathomable. They look at you with such love loyalty and desire, willing to do anything for you to have you acknowledge their existence. Despite their delusional loyalty and desire towards you, you are anything but merciful. Why? Because you're so goddamn spoiled.
You know you can make them do anything you want, if you don't like what they give you? You through a fat fucking fit, tell them how much they disappointed you. Nonononono you can't be mad at them, they'll do anything to have you forgive them. Harm themselves, kill someone, build you a whole sanctuary, They'll do anything just pleasepleaseplease forgive them. You're awfully amused by their loyalty and blind love for you. You have them all wrapped around your delicate violent finger.
The worst thing in the world of teyvat is when you're angry. It could be over the tiniest thing, like you lost your favorite earrings or necklace. Or maybe somebody was dumb enough to make you upset by giving you an awfully ugly offering, you don't care how rare or expensive it was, how dare they give you something so horrid, the lowly creature.
Point is you're just so awful when you're going through a fit, you whine, you cry and stomp your feet. Anything to get you what you want and the attention you so desperately need. Whenever you do go through one of your tantrums you are just a nightmare. A scream that could crack the walls and sky, crocodile tears that could flood all of Teyvat and stomps that could break all the mountains (whoever made your spoiled ass upset not that its hard is going to pay dearly I assure you. They may even be dead by the time you start acting like a spoiled little baby.)
Oh how they hate to see their beautiful spoiled god in such dismay and distress. Some of them come to comfort you, bringing you everything you need and want to at least get you to stop screaming and pouting.
-Kaveh, Diluc, Zhongli, Pantalone, Baizuh, Ninguuang, Kazuha, Venti, Al haitham.
Another group will find whoever made their god upset and destroy everything they ever loved bringing you their misery and despair as a gift to cheer you up <3.
-Dottore, Childe, Sandrone, Kaeya, Cyno, Scaramouche, Xiao, Venti.
When you're distressed so are they, they will cry with you and Sob over your despair until you're happy again almost like it never happened and then go back to being your loyal pet servant.
-Barbara, Nilou, Ayaka, Thoma, Kaveh, Raiden, Columbina, Nahida, La signora.
But no matter how much you throw a tantrum or almost destroy their world, you will always be their spoiled bratty beautiful creator.
FONTAINE + SAGAU
So, we all know, and are excited for Fontaine.
But… SAGAU Fontaine.
Fontaine is the most technologically advanced, as a direct consequence Fontaines air is(hinted)to be polluted.
So, understandably, Creator reader is a bit mad that Teyvats air is being polluted.
A bit mad that the archon of Fontaine is doing nothing to help and or find a way to help THEIR planet.
A bit mad that the people of Fontaine are not doing anything to help and or find a way to help THEIR planet.
A bit mad that Fontaine is sacrificing the wellbeing of their planet over boosting mankind up a bit, and they dare say that they did this to impress them?!
When the archon of said nation was slacking off when reader wasn’t around!?
Yeah.
Scratch “a bit mad” off.
The Creator is pissed.

AYAKA + SAGAU
So, Ayaka is pretty lonely due to her status, we have all established that.(girlie deserves better😞)
This has been on my mind for awhile, but anyways do you think Ayaka would be even more lonely thinking that the only person who would become friends with her is literally god.
Would Ayaka think that the only way to have friends is if that person is of higher status.
The only way she would be approached?
It doesn’t help that she can’t see her only friend much.
So overall would Ayaka be overjoyed that she befriended god, or would she be even more lonely?
KIDS + SAGAU
Do you think the kids look up to creator reader?
Well- no.
So, the kids in Genshin impact. They definitely look up to creator reader.(at least in cult AU)
Like just imagine your parents/parental figure/guardian who has worshiped the creator for their entire life, naturally making said kid worship the creator.
Your entire life you have worshiped the creator, and suddenly you meet them!?
Suddenly, you have the chance to meet the being your entire lineage has worshiped.
Suddenly, you have the opportunity to bask in your creator’s heavenly presence.
Suddenly, you are one of the very rare few who have met your god.
Suddenly you are one of the luckiest people to be alive.
You were given a vision, basically recognition from the gods. Were born in the generation where the creator blessed the planet with their presence. You don’t have to experience the hardships the adults around you have endured, because the creator already fixed them!
PRIDE OF POWER
Can you imagine the absolute pride the archons would go through if the creator has similar abilities to them. Because, in their mind the creator hand-picked them to have that ability.
The creator of life gave them
Like, my take on the creator/OC is that one of their titles is ‘The All Seeing Eye’. One of Ei’s powers is an eye.
Can you just imagine the absolute pride said archon would have.
God forbid if you choose to have something air related, Venti would just brag. Constantly.💀💀Like the insufferable thing he is.(sorry venti lovers😅❤️)
Zhongli would be ‘secretly’ prideful, like he knew he would, it makes the most logical sense, the primordial one who created the planet would be interested in creation.
While writing that I just had a thought, is that why Zhongli is believed to worship the creator the most, why he was so prideful in his youth? Because he was gifted the ability to carve and shape his nation to his wildest dreams?
But anyways he would believe he was bragging secretly but it's obvious.
But the bragging would be as playful teasing,(venti)and ‘subtle’ flexing, like he would create things more often, if you're really close he would ask if or when you plan on creating something-anything if he can watch.
Zhongli is very quiet; he may ask questions if you're the peaceful/quiet type, but he’s just incredibly honored.
Ei would be a mix of actually secretly prideful and honored. She would make sure this trusted blessing would not be wasted. Again.
Nahida would be SO happy and honored. Like Zhongli she would be aware, it is no secret the creator favors her.
The lush and bountiful landscape that encompasses Sumeru. The rich harvest, every year without fail. It is simply undeniable the creator favors Sumeru.

Sorry if Nahidas seems out of place I couldn’t think of anything for her.😅
Oh and I’m currently working on ‘implanting’ SAGAU actually IN Genshin lore(reader is actual god AU)so it fits a bit more, so it might have kinda settled its way in to my ‘lazy’ writing.😅
Please stay tuned for it!😄
2AM SAGAU THOUGHT
would genshin characters get jealous of your phone
VENTI CAPABILITIES
While researching for my Genshin impact + SAGAU lore inculcation to better understand SAGAU, and how it would work if it actually were to exist.
I have just now come to the realization that not many people know WHY Barbatos has the queen gnosis,(including myself(past/2 minutes ago))the most important chess piece besides the king(you).
Barbatos is said to sense when someone says his name, regardless of place, being the avatar of wind and all that jazz.
Venti knows past, present and future songs.
He can speak to animals.(?)
For a better understanding of Ventis capabilities go to this post https://www.reddit.com/r/Genshin_Lore/comments/11m6flz/archons_and_their_demon_names/
it’s where I came up with the idea, I was just have a difficult time explaining it without directly copying it.
