im re-working on my Kaeya x Wagner fanfic which is basically: modern time genshin AU where Kaeya and Wagner fake date in order for Kaeya to rebel against his family. Wagner being a mechanic is also a very important part of his character in this fic.

Hello general public I’ve come to show you my Mlp x Genshin designs for the Archons and Traveller
Traveller used to have mechanical retractable wings and a horn, but they were ripped away from them during their encounter with the unknown god
Venti was an itty bitty breezie before becoming a god, and every pony in Mondstadt is a Pegasus unless they were born somewhere else(for example, Kaeya also had artificial retractable wings and horn, but is now simply an earth pony, and Diona is a cat)
Zhongli aka Rex Lapis aka Morax aka Lord of Geo aka most powerful adept us ever in the history, was first a dragon, then an adeptus, which all take the form of Kirin when not in their illuminated beast forms. Other than that, all of Liyue’s citizens are Earth Ponies
Raiden Ei doesn’t need a disguise, and therefore doesn’t need a fake cutie mark, while the Shogun is fake and doesn’t have a cutie mark at all. All the people of Inazuma are Unicorns, except for Yae Miko, Gorou, Itto, and Thoma
Baby Nahida didn’t get her cutie mark until she was fully recognized as the only dendro archon. Also everyone in Sumeru is a Zebra, and I hate drawing stripes
Furina is yet another fake Alicorn, who is actually just a regular Hippogriff like every other one of her citizens. She wore a glass horn and hid her cutie mark with her shorts so no one would see that she doesn’t have the hydro symbol as her cutie mark
A few notes, only Ponies with cutie marks can get visions and control elemental energy, and I chose the Kirin for the Adepti because 1) Xiao can teleport and Earth ponies can’t do that and 2) they have cool fire forms that I looked at and immediately thought: karmaic debt

notes: if you don't understand any of the genshin terminology you can always ask me because i know i used a lot. basically, visions are how people harness the elements, mondstadt is the region the two are in (known for its value of freedom), an archon is a god, and gliding is basically like flying but for humans lol. reader has cryo vision and wooyoung has pyro although that's not so important. some of the lore might not be super accurate because i'm a fairly new player so please forgive me ahh.

you look down at the view from stormbearer mountains, a light breeze caressing your skin. beside you, your friend wooyoung smiles, twirling the necklace with his pyro vision.
"come on, let's glide! it'll be fun!"
he exclaims, joining you in surveying the territory bathed in sunlight. it's beautiful, seeing the place you grew up in with the person you loved most.
although you and wooyoung were opposite in many ways, having a cryo and pyro vision respectively, with his personality generally being more energetic than yours, amongst other things, you knew that a friendship like the one you two had was something you needed to cherish. opposites really did attract.
you laugh. "ah, give me a minute, wooyoung. let me take in everything. the weather is so nice today!"
he takes a moment to roll his eyes. "well, you're only saying that because it's not really cold, snowy or raining."
even though you take this chance to elbow him, he's right. you disliked extremely cold weather.
while you were able to tolerate most types of weather, you'd prefer to not go out in unpleasant conditions, although the rain was great in helping you freeze any enemies that you chanced upon.
if it weren't for your dumbass of a best friend getting himself into trouble (and setting property on fire in the process), hell, you might not even leave the mondstadt library at all, too lost in a good book. it was wooyoung that brought out your outdoorsy and adventurous side. his presence alone could sometimes compel you to do things you usually wouldn't.
the wind begins to pick up slightly, almost urging you to ride its currents. you weren't always in the mood to glide, but today seemed like a good day for it.
"alright, i'll glide with you today," you say to wooyoung, grasping his hand with a smile. "as they say here, let—"
he finishes your sentence easily. "—the wind lead. come on!"
and with that, wooyoung lets go of your hand gently and jumps off the edge of the cliff, not wasting any time. you hesitate for a second, but swiftly run after him and do the same.
instinctually, you open your glider, and no matter how many times you think you'll fall upon jumping, you never do. the wind hasn't failed you yet.
time seems to fly by when you glide—you're not sure how long you've been up there for. you watch a dandelion seed blow by, and suddenly you feel nostalgic as it drifts away to who knows where.
here in mondstadt, you knew that freedom was of such great value here that the anemo archon, barbatos, did not directly govern the people, unlike say, in liyue.
when you had first read about the history of mondstadt in books, you found it odd, but now, you savored the freedom your archon had given you.
you and wooyoung had felt it as kids the first time he had convinced you to glide without a license (thankfully, it wasn't from such a high altitude), and although both of you are certified now and glide from much higher areas, you will always find your first gliding experience special.
speaking of the boy, he was screaming proudly, arms extended. if there was anyone who embodied this region, it was him. he was quite the free spirit—perhaps some of the only things that changed about him were that he grew a bit taller and decided to dye his hair semi-frequently.
to be honest, you wouldn't be surprised if he went on an adventure one day, never to return. he was always ready for something new, and even if you would miss him more than anything, you know his heart yearns to be free.
you yell towards him and watch as he turns mid-air to face you. "enjoying the view?"
"well, it sure is nice," he says with a smirk. "you look beautiful today."
you quickly formulate a response before he can have the satisfaction of seeing you flustered.
"thanks for the compliment, it's worth its weight in mora!"
thanks to years of practice, you can easily laugh his remarks off, although your heart of ice still flutters a little. wooyoung just happens to be very flirtatious, another habit of his you've become accustomed to. you're not sure if he sees you as more than a friend, anyways.
distracting you from your thoughts, wooyoung points to a small stone tower. "let's land over there!"
you chuckle. "right behind you!"
the two of you land gracefully onto the platform. luckily, it's larger than it appears and there's enough space for both of you. you dangle your legs over the edge and stare wistfully into the distance.
you feel him softly poke you. "hey, y/n?"
"yes?"
"i know you're the one who's supposed to be articulate and the smart one here, but i just wanted to say..."
he's hesitating. you don't usually see this side of him, but you're grateful that he trusts you enough to open up.
wooyoung continues, his voice a little more steady. "i've realized a lot of things, and one is that i never want to lose you. even if the winds carry me away to new lands and adventures, to liyue, sumeru, hell, even if they take me all the way to inazuma. i'll always find my way back here, just so we can make more memories."
"maybe you'll save my ass a couple more times, and you can criticize me all you want, because trust me. i'll still love you anyways."
he laughs and takes your hand. "y/n, i know you've realized that my heart may be like the wind, but it belongs to you. really."
there's a stupidly boyish smile on his face that you wish didn't make your heart beat so fast.
as you process the gravity of his words, you realize that you're holding back tears. what are you, the hydro archon?
you rest your head on his shoulder. "i love you too, dumbass."
he speaks to you softly. "don't cry. i'll be here, as long as you need me to be."
the two of you remain this way for a while, letting the wind's gentle touch keep you at peace for what seems to be an eternity.

They often take it upon themselves to also keep people from putting words into barbatos' mouth, and debunking any false information. Just like any citizen, an envoy is free to do as they please. It would be weird to chain down a symbol of freedom with unnecessary duties if they do not wish to do it. They may look human, but so does barbatos. The people have decided envoys are basically spirits. No one has ever seen an envoy look younger or older. No one has ever seen one be born or die. They simply appear and disappear with the wind.
The origin of this is that people long ago (before cannon/ in-game time) noticed that venti is practically identical to barbatos. Rumors started to spread, and to keep people from guessing his true identity, Venti came up with the envoy idea. He didn't want to make the people feel stifled by the presence of their archon, to walk on eggshells around him and offer their first born when he trips.

Now, the Triforce is still present in our current world, but it has faded. Perhaps been hidden, if you will. Gannon is no longer a threat. The sacred name of Zelda is not passed down, as the royal family is no longer about. The Hero needs not arise. We unfortunately do not have much information on The Heros, no names, no mention of family or home have been mentioned in the records. But it is undeniable the link they have to the Triforce of courage, their adventures forever remembered.

in each of xiao’s waking moments, he thinks of you.
he thinks of the sun rising in your eyes when you turn to look at him. he thinks of your smile brighter than the moonlight when you tell him about your day. he thinks of the warmth in your hands when you gently grab his own, tugging on him to lead the way.
and as his body grows weaker with each passing second from the fantastic compass, he thinks about you. as though his ears are filled with water, the loud yelling of yanfei and paimon is drowned away by his thoughts of you—it has always only been of you.
you always hated how self-sacrificial he was. your shoulders would slump when you’d hear him utter his thoughts and you’d angrily bite back your tears. you’d wrap your arms around his waist after and tell him it was all nonsense—that he still had you.

you had been playing with his fingers when you spoke, not once looking up at him—missing the ghost of a smile on his lips. someone like you was too far for xiao to reach but still, he wallowed in your affection and surrendered himself fully.
you who has been blighted by someone like xiao, a demon who has slain thousands—mortals and gods alike. xiao wished back then that he had stayed away, kept to himself on the balcony of wangshu inn and never helped you with your problems.
for someone as awkward as him, xiao learned to breathe and love. love someone so different, someone who is not like him; and will never be like him. he learned to breathe you in as though you and he do not know where the two of you had begun and when you two had become whole.
“okay, i will,” xiao whispered that night. it was a promise to you and him—he’d come back home, safe and sound, to you.
then you looked up at him that time, smiling lightly as your eyes interlocked. you had noticed the fondness in his eyes, hand reaching up to cup his cheek. cute, you thought—but you’d never tell him that.
xiao supposes this would be the only time he has broken a promise to you. of the countless promises he had kept, this would be the only one he would have to break, whether he had a choice or not.
he staggers back, breath heavy and so is his body. they all look at him—yanfei, yelan, the traveler, paimon, and shinobu—with wide eyes as he stands weakly, eyes travelling towards the opening above them.
he would apologize if he could, take you once more into his arms and kiss your nose. he would apologize for everything he couldn’t have done with you and ask for your forgiveness. he knew you’d accept him as you always have.
xiao knows that his time is running out.
the color green engulfs his right hand as he balls it into a fist, knowing this would be his last act. heroic—he thinks, idiotic—you’d say.
“i like the color green,” you told him once on a stroll.
xiao paused in his steps, turning to look at you with a raised brow. “green?” he repeated.
“yeah, i like it,” you hummed. “everything about you is green—you’re green.”
he didn’t know what it meant during that time, only that he knew you liked it because of him. xiao took every chance to take home every colored green object in sight when he would go out.
he brought a four-leaf clover once, hoping that it would bring you any luck compared to being with him. xiao left it on your hands with a shy smile as you stared at it with a smile.
everything else followed after that. xiao would grab a jade stone should he see one, a beautiful water lily when he passes by the lake, a green flower when it blooms at night.
when the sunset came and you laid your head on his shoulder by a tree trunk, xiao hesitantly asked, “why the color green?”
you didn’t move from your position, instead, you took a look at the setting sun. “i just like it,” you answered. “but, if you really want to know…”
xiao gazed at you, watching the way your lips would move, nose scrunch up when you smiled, and eyebrows moving when you spoke. he then glanced at the sky and the setting sun—it was pink and purple, something you always loved to stare at, even more than you loved the color green, that he knew.
“does that answer your question?” xiao blinked. ah, he didn’t listen.
“it does,” he said, hand slowly reaching towards yours, intertwining it with his.
though he feels disappointed in himself for never hearing your answer, xiao realized there, you are more beautiful than the sun setting. should the sun itself disappear, xiao would follow you to the ends of the earth just to watch the sunset in your eyes.
this time, however, xiao understands why you like the color green—it symbolizes his protection. the color engulfs his companions, a bright light green that he knew would protect them and bring them to safety, and he knew that it would bring only them.
xiao watches as yelan reaches out to him, yelling something incoherent in his ears, then finally, they disappear and leave him on his own.
the platform below him cracks and xiao falls.
he wonders what you would have said to him should you know he sacrificed himself for others—only this time, he isn’t coming back. it was his job, his duty—it was bound to happen at one point. it was something you always refused to accept, xiao shouldn’t have to bear the burden of others.
“you first before others,” you said one time. “why should you put your life on the line for them?”
it was in the contract—he would have said. but xiao was bound by no contracts (at least anymore), only his morals and his guilt. his sins were far greater than any living adeptus and he must suffer for all eternity for what he has done.
but you show him that he doesn’t have to bear the burden of others, that like everyone else, xiao is loved. and he is loved deeply and greatly by none other than you.
to others love may be a burning fire of desire, to know all of your deepest secrets, or kissing below the shade of the trees in spring and waiting for the flowers to fall. but for you, you show xiao that love to you is simply him.
and xiao knows that you love him more than you do yourself.
it’s only that xiao knows in himself that you are the epitome of love itself—and he will love you even until death.
“what are you holding?” you came up to him on a cold night by the balcony. the wind blew and howled, you shivered slightly as you make do with your hands rubbing your arms for any source of warmth.
xiao turned to you, holding a crystal-fly in his right hand. “i thought it would suit you,” he murmured, reaching out to tuck the piece in your hair.
he gazed at you, a light smile on his lips as you touched the crystal-fly on your hair gently. xiao was right whenever it came to you—something he was always proud of, and the only thing he was proud of in himself.
“i love it,” you whispered.
“i love you,” xiao whispered back—barely audible but he knows you hear it, and wants only you to hear it.

“what’s your favorite flower?” he had asked suddenly.
you thought for a few seconds as you say, “oh, i don’t know.”
xiao frowned.
“but if there was a flower like you, i would choose that one,” is what you said after.
you gave him a bright smile, laughing at your own words—still, they were true. wrapping your arms around his neck, he staggered backwards, holding your waist to steady the both of you. should there be a garden full of flowers, you would choose xiao again and again.
“that’s nonsense,” xiao clicked his tongue.
“huh? hey! i thought it was cute!”
his eyes shoot open.
for once in his life, xiao reaches up towards the small light and wishes it would grab him just as how you pulled him out of his misery.

the smile on your face fades, handpicked qingxins now lay by your feet as your hands drop to your sides. verr goldet stands in front of you, a solemn look on her face—you watch her lips move but you could barely hear what she says.

you open your mouth to thank her for bearing you the news, but it stays open. there was nothing to say. she watches as you tremble, the gloss in your eyes fading—a look she had first seen on xiao when you had not come for a week.
with a shaky voice, you reply, “okay… thank you.”
you should have seen it coming; that one day, xiao would not return safely in your arms. the longer you stand in front of verr goldet, the heavier your body becomes, dragging you down as if it wishes to bring you with xiao himself. for now, you will weep for your dead lover.
you hope that in xiao’s final moments, he knows that should he and you walk this world once again with no remnants of each other, you will find him again and again.
notes i thought about xiao finally resting but wipee go down with me he worries about leaving you alone so in his last final moments he's desperately trying to cling onto whatever faith he has left in himself to go back to you but <3 he can't tada hehe also i hope the transitions are understandable as you can see the reader isn't with xiao in the chasm, so all you saw are xiao's memories with you just loving him or as i like to call it his life flashing before he dies :p i wrote this in one day i can't believe but i had to edit it a lot because my metaphors didn't seem right, i am not an english major so i am horrible at this

you and scara had been together for just barely a year now, and yet, scara still didn’t quite believe it. you noticed it when he didn’t react well to your touches in the beginning, inching his cheek away or jerking his hand from yours. but as the months passed and seasons changed he slowly let you in. even if that only meant getting to hold his callused hand for an extra few seconds.
you knew of his past and knew when you should stop prying, but sometimes you wished he would let you in. you had to roll your words in your mouth to see how they feel before letting them go, just to be certain scara understood how much you cared for him and wouldn’t judge. it was a slow process, but you were willing to wait.
you were both out on a mission and had separated from your crew to let them do the dirty work, perks of being in a relationship with a harbinger was that he went easy on you. if they needed help they’d call so for the most part you and scara wandered around the premise as you both competed against each other to kill any enemies in your way.
when nightfall came you both slumped against a tree, your breath visible in the air from the cold wind. scara was beside you drawing circles in the dirt, gazing elsewhere.
his other hand was free so you reached over and laced your fingers with his. you felt his body go stiff before he let you lock your fingers with his and rub your thumb against his palm.
“why do you try?” he asks, his voice mellow.
“what do you mean?” you hum, observing the chipped nail polish you had begged him to let you do the other week.
“try with me,” he adds, “it’s pointless.”
you turned to look at him, but his eyes were still downward. the light from the moon lets you see the pale glow of his skin and the bags under his eyes.
“you’re not pointless,” you slowly say, not knowing where he was going with this.
he looks down at your interlocked hands.
“i’m holding my breath every day, waiting for when you inevitably leave.”
“i’m not going to,” you easily assure.
“that’s what everyone else said,” scara dryly laughs, voice empty, “I have no clue how to do this shit. You know I’m a literal puppet. I’m not meant to love.”
“everyone deserves a chance to be loved,” you start, pulling his palm to your lips and letting them graze his knuckles, “i’m gonna stay and show you.”
he finally turns his gaze towards you, eyeing your hand in his.
“i don’t believe you,” he says, leaning his head on bark of the tree.
“I’ll keep trying until you do,” you hum, taking your free hand and maneuvering yourself so you’re straddling his lap. one hand holding his and the other grazing his cheek.
he raises a brow at you, his other hand instinctively holding your waist.
you lean down and place a chaste kiss on each of his cheeks and watch in glee as they bloom pink. his grip on your waist hardens and you take that as an encouragement to continue. you move your lips to his jaw and leave a trail of kisses down to his chin. and finally, you give him a kiss.
at first, he doesn’t respond. but after a few seconds, he pushes you up closer to him and kisses back with more fervor. his fingers interlace with yours and you only pull back for a breath.
“believe me now?” you whisper, curling a strand of his hair behind his ear.
“i’m not sure,” he starts, “you’ll need to do it a few more time,” he adds, a sly smile upturning his lips.
you give him a half-hearted shove but ultimately fulfill his request.

🍃Sucrose:
Though she’s only a sophomore, she is one smart cookie! While balancing honors chem and calculus, she also spends her time with the Academica Squad and book club. Sucrose is very sensitive, and if you’re not careful, she’ll be scared away easily. That’s why you’ll never catch her near the gym. “The sports posse are a little too enthusiastic for me,” she’ll answer if it’s ever brought up, “I’d rather stick to my books.”
If you ever need to find the green-haired girl, you can usually see her in the library with her close friend, Yanfei. Once you get to know her, she’s very helpful and kind. Whenever she has a moment, she’s more than happy to tutor anyone who is willing. She and Gorou can be seen studying together from time to time.
If you ever happen to bring up books to her, be prepared for a sudden spark of interest to show through her. She’ll suddenly be the one talking the most, gushing over her favorite novels or recent manuscripts she read by Xingqiu. Though she tends to forget that Lisa and Yae Miko run the book club, she’ll invite you to sit in for a listen.
She’ll never admit it herself that she is smart, and whenever she is complimented about it, she’ll become so flustered it looks as though she may pass out. She tends to compare herself to her senior, Albedo. She has nothing but praise to say about the older student. She was more than excited when he accepted her to be his assistant to whatever experiment he decides to work on. However, she needs to be tended to when she is in the lab, as instructed by the student council. It’s safer for her to be evaluated in the lab after a certain incident that involved a beaker…
Nevertheless, if you ever need a calm presence to study with, Sucrose is your girl!
👹Itto:
Arataki Itto, a freshman who spends most of his time in the cafeteria bragging about himself. If he’s not worried about how his hair looks, he’s usually hanging out with the boys. As entitled he first may appear, Itto is quite the opposite of a narcissistic jerk. Whenever he can, he’ll be there to support his friends. Whether it be for Yoimiya’s cheer team or Shinobu’s baking competition, you can bet you’ll see him in the frontlines cheering obnoxiously with an over-the-top sign he made by hand.
He may be naive, but he’s favored by the upperclassmen boys. You can usually find him joking around with the tennis team leader, Kaeya Alberich. On the off chance that his captain is preoccupied with something else, Itto will follow behind his good friend, Gorou, like a lost puppy.
Arataki Itto is very good at physical activity, and when it comes to tennis, he nails the court almost every time. Nobody is perfect, however, and when the tall male doesn’t agree with something, he tends to act out because of it. Due to this, he is no longer allowed to interact with other teams without his own teammates present. The one and only time this happened, the opponent’s school was left with broken bleachers, and Thoma had to spend the rest of the afternoon bandaging the whining Freshman.
In all, he’s charming in his own right. If you make friends with him, you can be sure to have loyal support by your side for a long time.
🐺Razor:
Razor is an odd fellow and he tends to stick to himself for the most part. He’s a junior pursuing a major in Humane Education. Though he struggles with communicating, he is quite good at getting his points across. With the help of Lisa, he has a decent relationship with the student council when it comes to innovative ideas about the environment.
It comes to no surprise that he’s part of the track team, and considering how much energy the boy has, he’s very good at it too. During study hall, he tends to spend his time with Bennet and Fishyl at the outdoor classroom. He’s also good at interacting with animals. The agriculture club has invited him multiple times on trips when the season to show off the progress of the school’s cattle arrives. He has this nature about him that just puts the creatures at ease.
You can bet when a stray dog ran loose on the school grounds, everyone turned to Razor for help. Granted, he was the one who brought the dog in, but he did manage to calm the pup down.
Though Razor seems rough outwardly, if you give him the time of day just to be kind, the young boy will forever be grateful to you.

❄️Eula:
For a senior, Eula tends to mind her own unless someone ticks her off. She’s not mean per say, but her attitude about things tends to keep other students away. For instance, the one time a freshman took the last muffin from the cafeteria, Eula made it her mission to track them down and declare vengeance on them. It was a good thing Amber was there to calm the situation; the tears that began to stream down the freshman’s face would not have been a good look on the director of the dance club.
Despite her odd reputation with the student body, she has many friends within the counsel. Whenever a report is made on her for misconduct, it is usually Yae Miko that handles it. Despite only talking a few times, the mischievous Miko took it upon herself to look after the odd-ball Eula. You can find her most mornings having coffee with Jean and Rosaria. With her physical background, you can be sure she has met her fair share of athletes. Whenever her status forces her to the gym, she finds herself sticking to the lead tennis player, Kaeya.
If you ever get the chance to become close to Eula, you can be sure that she will look after you, even without you knowing. She may have a tough exterior, but she does truly care for the people who give her a chance.
🍺 Beidou:
Beidou is the captain of the basketball team. Her life is on the court, and she practices non-stop to perfect her craft. Her teammate, Gorou, has taken it upon himself to help her as much as he can. Despite her being okay with being by herself, she gave up on trying to tell the freshman that he didn’t have to worry about it. Beidou has great skills when it comes to what she does, however; when a particular team pushes her buttons a little too much for being a girl, she will make sure they leave the court with red faces by the end of it.
In the off seasons, she helps Yun Jin with props on upcoming performances and visits Kazuha in the Poet’s Society when she can. Many a time, you can spot her in the home ec room with Thoma as he teaches her a new recipe he came up with. Ironically, she has a thing for Nigguang in the student council. As carefree as she is, she settles down when Nigguang wants to share a new business idea with her. Though both of them are guarded in their own right, they both seem to soften in each other's presence.
In all, Beidou is a great pal to have when you need motivation. She will push you hard and praise you when you finally accomplish your goals.
💃 Yun Jin:
Yun Jin has a lot going for herself, and she’s only a sophomore! Majoring in theatrical arts, She uses her time to fill her passion. She is the assistant director for the drama club, and is usually the one promoting performances and gaining traction for the club. She is also one of the lead singers in the school’s choir. Despite her rising popularity, she’s very modest with herself and tends to remark very often, “Looking back on my youth, I was terribly arrogant and captious… my goodness. I shall never let myself become vain again.”
Yun Jin is great friends with the dance class, and likes to partake in some of the classes from time to time. With her kind-natured spirit, she became very close with the dancers Shenhe and Eula. From time to time, they’ll allow her to bring her troupe in to observe and get inspired. Yun Jin loves constructive criticism, and will ask on many occasions how to perfect her craft. She will usually go to her senior, Zhongli, to ask questions and receive feedback. Though she hardly needs any at all, Zhongli is more than happy to put his take on it. In the small free time that she has, she likes to spend time with Xinyan, whether it be talking about modern rock or jamming out to their favorite songs. Yun Jin is open to anyone and likes hearing about other people’s passions.
Yun Jin is a very good friend to have. She will never compare herself to you and will support you on whatever you decide to do. She’s also very honest, and will help out however she can.

🐶 Gorou:
The bubbly freshman is always looking for a way to improve himself. With the help of Beidou and Itto, he works hard on coming up with new strategies for his next game. In his downtime, you can spot him in the outdoor classroom with his bow in hand. Sometimes, He’ll have a friendly competition with his fellow archer, Yoimiya. No matter if he wins or not, he is happy to hang out with someone with the same interest.
From time to time, Gorou will get roped into tactic planning with Kokomi as she comes up with a new speech for her fellow orchestration team. He doesn’t mind it though; he likes to see what is coming up for the school and how he can help. During the afternoons, Kazuha will usually bring him some tea after basketball practice and they’ll chat at the picnic tables outside. On rare occasions, Junior Ayaka will join them, bringing along a bag of lemon cookies that Thoma helped her make.
As friendly as Gorou is with everyone, he can also get very flustered when put on the spot. One time, when helping the Poet’s Society collaborate with the drama club, one of the monolouger’s got sick. As a volunteer from the book team, Yae Miko recommended the role to Gorou. As much as he wanted to say no, Venti’s constant begging got him to cave. As soon as the spotlight landed on him on the dimmed out stage, he passed out right on the spot. After an hour of him remaining unconscious, the directors collectively decided to take the monologue out of the final performance.
Gorou is one of those friends that is easy to hang out with. No matter if it's shopping for a whole day or staying indoors eating packaged ramen, he's just content with being with you. If you ever need assistance on something, he'll try his best to help!
❄️ Kaeya:
Kaeya is one of those students everyone wants to be friends with. As one of the main influencers in the school, and as the captain of the tennis team, the senior male prioritizes his time on the younger levels. He feels it’s his responsibility to motivate and push the efforts of those below him, as if it was his final stance for the university. Much to the dismay of senior Diluc, many of the freshmen look up to his eccentric brother. On the off chance that he is not involved with the gym, Kaeya uses his smarts when called to the strategy planning meetings put on by Jean.
Although he was selected as one of the leading officers on tactic blueprints for upcoming programs, he tends to procrastinate and mess around with Childe and Ayato. Kaeya is clever, fortunately, and knows his way around stressful situations he puts himself in. Bennett likes to mention often that Kaeya helps him with this problem too. Sadly, Kaeya doesn’t really use his witty nature when he really needs to, especially when it comes to being Albedo’s guinea pig.
“What’s the worst that can happen? I get sick?” He jokes when someone voices their concern about the upcoming biochemist, “If that does happen, I’ll use it to my advantage.”
As affable as Kaeya is, you can understand why many are confused when he brings up the asocial Rosaria into conversation. Most nights, they can be spotted hitting the town to grab a few drinks with some buddies. Honestly, maybe it’s not that surprising as you get to know them a little more…
Many students don’t question Kaeya’s words considering his great relationships with some of the council members. The senior uses the gullibility of the undergraduates in his favor, using that sultry voice of his to get what he wants. Kaeya is manipulative with his following, but it’s all light fun! It’s not like he would use the special born gift to be malicious, unless you’ve wronged him in any way… The only person who can catch on to Keaya’s lies is Albedo, but it’s not like he’ll do anything on the matter.
If you're looking for a good time, Kaeya is a good candidate! He knows many cool hang out areas that can distract you from the stresses of life. Hopefully you don’t mind him tagging along, he gets rather bored by himself.
⚖️ Keqing:
Keqing is the justice junior, making sure that everyone has equal chances when it comes to curriculum. She’s always on the move, whether it be traveling with the volleyball team or getting prepared for the next discussion put on by the debate team. It’s not surprising that the youthful girl went into civil law; she’s always finding ways to block up any wrongdoings that are going on around the school, even if one of the other student council members already looked into the situation multiple times.
You can find Keqing hanging out with Ganyu in the auditorium during the morning hours. She calls it a study session, but anyone can tell that’s the only time she has to spend with her close friend. As one of the board members sponsored by the school, she normally has to sit with the student council. During those times, she finds herself chit-chatting with Nigguang or Jean as the band blasts their introduction for the pep rally.
As caring as Keqing is for the student body, she can get a bit carried away when it comes to her duties. Once, when investigating a matter where someone was taking props from the theater closet for their own interest, she found Itto’s posse goofing around in the enclosed area. Though it wasn’t a huge matter, up to that point Keqing had a hard time finding the perpetrators. In her frustration, she took a few handcuffs featured in one of the performance bins and barred them to the shelving that was screwed to the cemented floor. She left them there until a teacher could officially reprimand them.
Whenever there is a problem, Keqing is one the best people to go to. Though she can’t deal with everything personally, she’ll do what she can before handing the situation to someone trusting, like Yelan or Yanfei.
Genshin College AU: Part 4

🔥 Xiangling:
Xangling is one of the most talented cooks in the whole school. With only being a sophomore, the uprising chef already has a high reputation in the food industry. She’s a great influence within the Home Ec room, giving many tips on how to give recipes that Boom shaka-laka feeling.
She is very free-spirited with her time, usually finding inspiration within her friend group. Hu Tao’s quirky personality, along with Xingqiu’s mischievous nature, gives Xangling enough motivation to play around with her creativity. Surprisingly, the level headed Chongyun likes her cooking! Though, he needs a slightly different version of her spontaneous recipes due to his low heat-resistant pallet…
However, as great of a chef as the sophomore is, she sometimes runs into duds. One time, she was sponsoring a new sample that she was testing, and everyone in the cafeteria was more than excited to call dibs in trying the famous Xangling’s cooking. However, a bit too much Jueyan Chili was used in the small batch, and everyone had to be sent home because of stomach issues…
Xangling is great to go to when you need some flavor in your life! She’ll be more than happy to whip you up something, just making sure to tell her your preferences… who knows what she’ll put in there if not.
👻 Hu Tao:
Hu Tao is an interesting person to meet… While majoring in business, she also works closely within an occult club that may or not be run by her as well. The sophomore is an imaginative person, finding new stories to tell her fellow students. Itto has befallen her prankish ways too many times already, and it always ends with him screaming down the hall.
Venti likes to help with her goulish pranks when he can, usually coming up with a “historical” tale to go along with it. They’re a dangerous duo when this happens, and many of the students and teachers become anxious when they're seen together. As sneaky as Hu Tao is, she somehow managed to become friends with Teyvat college’s law major, Yanfei. The studious student finds Hu Tao’s pranks to be quite funny, as long as she’s not on the other end of them.
Hu Tao does very well in her classes, and many of the professor’s encourage practice outside of class. However, Hu Tao has a funny way of marketing her future business to the student body. There’s been many instances of her standing in a far corner of a populated area, rambling on how coffins are needed sooner or later. She tends to scare away a lot of the people.
Hu Tao may be an odd friend to have, but she’s very entertaining to watch. She’ll even let you in on her secret plans if you're lucky enough.
